(mild spoiler warning but hardly even) guys i just watched The Last Of Us episode 3 and omg 😭 the whole episode's just a beautiful gruff old man love story it's amazing. It's perfect and wonderful the way it is and with the actors cast, but I'm also reshooting it in my brain with Sebastian Stan and Chris Evans and imagining it shot-for-shot the same except as an AU Stucky story.

I don't understand how some folks, both people who like and don't like shadowgast, seem to still want me to believe that Liam "caved" to Caleb and Essek being in a relationship because of fandom pressure and continues to go along with it halfheartedly only because of that even though he secretly hates it.
And meanwhile we have entirely unprompted asides like "Imagine two wizards—" "I do. Often."

If I told you there was a series of games created before I was born, developed by Capcom, and that I was obsessed with a pairing of middle aged men within; The pairing being comprised of a someone around a decade or so older than the younger, lighter colored hair, stern and serious with a very deadpan sense of humor, along with “this is my job. I shall do it perfectly” demeanor about his work— very cat-coded in general, if you can think it, it will most probably apply— and the younger being very a determined brunette with firm morals who goes toe to toe with the older man and is frequently one of the only ones who can do so with their hell-bent insistence to do good and defend those who cannot, no matter the cost, who is quite dog-coded in reverse.
They spend a few years in each other’s company, learning about each other (even if it’s at a distance and professionally) and then. Something happens. The older one of the pair betrays the brunette — his strings being pulled by a higher power, but it does not excuse him— and in the process reveals a cowardly and vengeful side after the event, causing the entirety of the franchise we play to happen.
And then only a bit later in the storyline, one murdered the other, in cold but passioned blood, because destiny deemed it this way and they only heed the call of it. And whether or not it was intentional, leaving said murdered man’s child an orphan completely alone in the world as a side effect. For years after the event, they are satisfied with what happened, if burdened by guilt. But they were right to do so, weren’t they? They proceed to be metaphorically haunted by the man they killed for the rest of their life, however. And that will come to a head for them.
Now… am I talking about Chrisker (Chris Redfield/Albert Wesker), or Shingou (Mitsurugi Shin/Karuma Gou) ?

tiertice parallels with sophitz. almost cognates/are cognates. once knew each other better than anyone else but something happened (prentice's exile/alvar + matchmaking) and they're still just as close but something's inexplicably different now. one taking massive risks on their own and the other trying to convice them not to. how duty and expectations impact your relationship. cyrah and keefe maybe

why is scourge the hedgehog such a popular character why do people want him to come back so badly. like it has to be people who didnt read archie sonic at all and archie sonic readers who only like him based on the headcanon version of him that exists in their head that make up a big chunk of his fanbase right. because i cant think of any other explanation

Thinks about how Anti-Mabel was kicked out of her dimension for being 'so evil'. Thinks about how desperate she was to take over the life of the original Mabel. Thinks about how there's a Dipper out there who was created as a means of replacing the original and just thinks Mabel is the coolest ever, and would probably adore and support any version of his sister, even the most evil version of her.
Thinks about how they're both. Like. Thirteen-year-old kids. Sure, one's apparently the most evil Mabel in existence and the other's just hated for his cool guy swag, but they're kids. Do you think either of them thinks about their twin in passing, and realizes how much they miss them and will probably never see them again? Or if they do, they won't be the specific version of themselves that the twin actually cares about?
Is anyone listening to me??
