i posted my "i think everyone in fandom should go through a period of time when they like a deeply unpopular thing" post to twitter a few days ago and it took off somewhat and i'm amused and baffled by the things some people consider to be "unpopular"
like someone retweeted the post and said "me with aloy from horizon!" and. she's the main character of a hugely successful game, has well over 3k hits on AO3 and even has a nendoroid made of her, in what universe is she "deeply unpopular" 😶

saw in your tags you mentioned earthmix were in a serious fight while filming moonlight chicken? what's the story there? (ty in advance if you answer this and np if you don't :) )
Tumblr media
Hii. Ok, so, while I do follow them on Instagram and Twitter, I never noticed anything until they talked about it during the MLC promo a few weeks ago, so I definitely don't know the full story, but here is a short summary of all the information that I’ve managed to gather from Twitter.
Apparently, there was a 4-5 month period last year where Earth and Mix were fighting (so-called their “divorce era”). It started with them going from constantly hanging out together to never interacting with each other anymore and fans quickly noticed something was up. Then this video from the MLC set was posted and it only further fueled all the speculations (it looks like a perfectly normal video to me tbh but to some, it looked like Mix was angry or like he was sulking 🤷)
They also had a few work events during that time and fans reported a noticeable tension between them. There was also a lot of subtweeting and indirecting on their social media including posts like this:
Tumblr media Tumblr media
which is funny considering this is how they described each other in an interview once
Tumblr media
("am I still your flower" is absolutely sending me 💀)
some more Mix retweets x/x
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Earth even posted this on his insta story
Tumblr media Tumblr media
and then, during the Oishi Magic Of Zero trip, they seemed to have finally gone back to their normal selves (x)
Tumblr media
they even acknowledged the fight and said that they had made up and that everything was okay between them again (x/x)
Tumblr media
and everyone was happy for them including P'Godji who posted this video (x)
Tumblr media
Mix even posted this on his story
Tumblr media
which may or may not have been a reference to this scene from ATOTS
Tumblr media
then, during their interviews recently, they talked a bit more about their fight (x) (their poor manager 😭)
and P'Aof even teased them about it by saying "the hard part for me is, I wanna work with them when they aren’t fighting with each other" when EM were asked what were the easy/hard parts of working together on three different series (x)
Tumblr media
speaking of P’Aof, I need to include this bit from MLC bts where he forgot Jim and Wen weren’t supposed to kiss each other during their sex scene in ep1 because it’s just so funny like dhfjhsdjkd
P‘Aof: *after watching them unnecessarily devour each other five takes in a row while knowing damn well they’re in the middle of their divorce era* “whoops my bad 🤭 please don’t kill me” 😂😂😂😂
(x)
Tumblr media
anyway - TLDR - Moonlight Chicken was filmed during their divorce era and they were spending their days filming scenes like this
Tumblr media Tumblr media
only to then go home and start subtweeting and shading each other online at the end of the day 😂
but they're making up for it now by being inseparable and constantly posting about each other. there are too many moments to link but here are some honorable mentions: x/x/x/x
including these posts from last night x/x

AITA for making a social blunder? Please focus on the blunder not the fiction fan parts T_T Gender doesn't matter, we're both 24.
I follow 400+ accounts on twitter, mostly artists. I need to keep some people muted, eg nsfw artists who might end up on my tl at a wrong time, or artists who post a lot of Kpop stuff I'm not into etc. Basically I curate my tl well.
A friend (K) got into a ship a few months ago, started retweeting a ton of sfw-nsfw art, I muted them but kept up conversation otherwise. For the whole of last month tho I was preoccupied and only saw what was on my tl (didn't check muted accounts) and only talked to my closest friends. I also had notifications muted.
Last week I was going around catching up with my other friends who I didn't talk to last month and realized K had messaged me, their usual memes and pet videos, some fanarts. All went ignored for over a month. So I sent them a ship art of their fave character from a lesser known artist (hoping to surprise) as peace offering.
K replied soon, just as usual, didn't mind that I was MIA. At no point did they seem upset or angry during this conversation. Now this is the case. They ignored the ship art at first until I asked if they liked it, they said it was a huge notp and they already blocked the artist. I apologized. They said, and I'm copying, "Nooo it's okay, you wouldn't have known 😅"
We talked for some more and they were still casual. We talked about that ship too. Thing is their fave character in this ship is like the fanfavorite Hole, all other people I know from that fandom ship him with Everyone. So I thought K would like anything I sent. I then checked K's account and found out K only liked one (1) ship with this character and they have retweeted hundreds of fanarts. They've written fics for them. They have also recently talked about why they disliked the notp in private. Later I saw that they were harassed by notp's fans on CC.
Anyone following K for a couple days would know this but I missed it because on top of muting I didn't get to check their account for a month. Made 2+2, they had somehow figured out I muted them and that's why excused my mistake that way. Now I think they were being sarcastic. It made me panic and I felt terrible. I looked at their account more thoroughly, that's how I found the CC anon hate.
After that conversation they're avoiding me? I'm not sure. My new messages are unread, they don't reply to comments much. But they don't seem to be online often anyways and I know for a fact they also keep notifications disabled, so I don't know.
Ship preference or nsfw posting is not a problem so please don't come at us over that.
AITA for potentially upsetting my friend by muting and temporarily ignoring them, then sending something they hate without checking first?
What are these acronyms?

Oh boy.
I intentionally avoided posting any thing about the allegations against Tenoch yesterday because I require time to process information. I needed time to give my brain a rest. This still feels a bit too soon. I will never be one to say Tenoch or anyone else would, "never do something like that." Because I have no idea. I'm hoping that the allegations aren't true. This post is my way of venting. It is in no way meant to persuade anyone else on what they should think or feel about this situation. And certainly not meant to be proof or evidence of why it happened or didn't happen. I don't know. None of us knows.
1. The framing of the dissemination of this information as "news." My biggest issue is that I've seen a lot of Twitter accounts pick up the same link that appears to be the outlet that first brought the Tweet by Maria Elena Rios to light (reforma.com). I don't know what journalistic standards this outlet follows, so I won't speculate. I did check to see if any well-established US outlets had Tweeted anything (Associated Press, Reuters, CNN, MSNBC), and as of roughly 30 min. ago they had not.
So far, all we really have are glorified Retweets, not a news story. There are A LOT of accounts with well designed pages that have all the hallmarks of looking like "official" news organizations, but they are not. It takes virtually no time or effort to Retweet something and start an avalanche. It's a trend that has bothered me for the last decade or so. Journalism requires independently verifying information you have received. It's going to multiple sources to corroborate the information. It's at the very least attempting to reach out to the involved parties to get their statements. It's reviewing public records and court filings to see what has been officially documented. And not to say that WON'T happen at some point, but it sure as hell isn't going to happen within 24 hours. It will take time and we STILL may never know the full story.
2. We should believe victims. ABSOLUTELY! In this particular instance and from this vantage point, Maria is only his accuser. It has not yet been established that she is his victim. I understand that she is a victim involving another individual, and thank goodness she survived that horific attack. However, as it pertains to Tenoch, I don't think interjecting alleged sexual assault in a Tweet focused on a different issue is enough to automatically leap to saying she was absolutely, 100%, without a doubt victimized by Tenoch. If it happened I would hope Maria would take legal action, given she was comfortable enough to make the accusation publicly under her name. Even then, she is not required to do so (which is why I say we may never know what did or didn't happen). I would imagine navigating the justice system in Mexico is no less stressful as navigating the justice system in the US. There are valid reasons for women not subjecting themselves to (potentially) years of legal struggles. But I also hope she wouldn't be so reckless as to throw out an allegation and not allow Tenoch to formally defend himself, assuming he denies these allegations. Once again, something that requires TIME.
3. To all those I have interacted with over the past few months on this site, know that I luv ya! I value our time together here. Regardless of what you've said or haven't said about this situation, that hasn't changed. I'm choosing to reserve judgement because that's how I am and how I will always be. I respect that everyone is not like me (thank God). Like many others, I will suspend posting here because, if for no other reason, I know how to read a fucking room. Let's all be kind and respectful to one another. To those folks who interact with me regularly, don't hesitate to DM me.

hello! it's been a while. haven't worked much for any future work but i hope everyone's been fine and well.
in the meanwhile, i'd like to say my piece about the current issue 🇵🇸 in the world. my heart always goes to the Palestinians since long ago (peak of being born in an environment of pro-Palestinian people). i strongly encourage you guys to go educate yourself about the situation and do your best to support them in any way—donating, going to rally, praying, educating, sharing, etc. it is not too late to change your perspective and learn. it is not shameful to still educate yourself now. there's a lot of materials out there on TikTok and Twitter (which i think is impossible to look away by now) and you can definitely do your own research without being ignorant.
if you want to donate, please check the sources first because sometimes they aren't going through or unreliable. if you can't donate, the least you could do is to educate yourself and speak up or post about it or be their voice or boost the posts by reposting/reblogging/retweeting/etc. be their voices.
there's a lot of posts you can find just by going through the Palestine tags on twitter and tiktok. here's one of them. you can just click on the 'View on Twitter' to see the thread. if you have free time, please just put some effort to learn.
Tumblr media
lastly, if you're against what i'm standing for, get the fuck out of all my blogs. and i don't want stupid ass asks in my inbox that can be done with simple search because honestly, there are a lot of answers to your questions by now.
keep boosting and interacting with posts regarding Palestine in social media. imo, tiktok is one of the platforms where you can access to videos of the situation in Gaza well. while you're educating yourself, you can also spread awareness to the people. that contribution is already great enough.

What Happened To Me Yesterday
Figured I might as well catch people up, since this all went down on 4chan and Twitter. Some nasty words are said so tread lightly.
I used to frequent 4chan in my younger years, and just by happenstance, I was scrolling through their /co/ Comics and Cartoons board yesterday during some casual off time between job hunting. I saw a Helluva Boss thread, and within it, some people have developed a conspiracy theory regarding Loona.
If you're a fan of Helluva Boss, you'll recognize that in the past three episodes of season 2, Loona, one of the most popular characters in the show, has had no speaking roles. People attributed to this being because of the death of her partner a few years back, but Erica Lindbeck, her voice actress, confirmed this to not be the case, so there was still heavy speculation. And a few days ago, Erica was harassed by AI bros after she requested a video using an AI replication of her voice to be taken down; the harassment got so bad that Erica deactivated her Twitter.
Anyway, 4chan users concocted a conspiracy theory stating that: Vivziepop's funds were being bled dry by changes to Hazbin Hotel requested by A24, Erica recognized how popular Loona is and was demanding higher pay, and Viv was retaliating by cutting her out of the show and is trying to replace her, either with an AI replication or a new, cheaper VA. A Loonaspiracy.
Tumblr media
(Ah yes, A24, famous for "family friendly" content like Hereditary, Midsommar, The Witch, and Ex Machina. Trying to make a show about demons more family oriented. Right.)
It was so on-its-face ridiculous that I took a screencap of the posts and I posted them on Twitter so I could laugh at them with a few of my friends and maybe some other Helluva Boss fans.
What I did not count on was Viv herself responding.
Tumblr media
Viv then went on to start a separate thread about the topic and cleared up the misinformation and conspiracy theory. Because season 2 is longer than season 1, all the episodes had a tighter budget and therefore, they didn't have Loona speak in every episode to save costs. This is an independently funded show, after all.
Tumblr media
So anyway, my phone notifications start blowing up with people liking/retweeting/replying to my tweet, and my tweets get shared on 4chan. The response was not great.
Tumblr media
Why am I showing you this?
Because I think it illustrates an incredibly important point. These people believed so hard in an obviously bullshit conspiracy that when confronted with the truth, they'd rather attack a marginalized person than admit they were wrong.
This is no different from how almost all conservatives act.
There are people who cannot - and will not - be convinced their beliefs are wrong, even when the truth is in front of them. You cannot convince these kinds of people to stop being racist, sexist, queerphobic, or whatever. They are told their actions and beliefs are evil, and their response is "Evil will have to do."
Don't waste your breath praying they become better people or trying to convince them to change. The best things you can do are to stay away from them if you can, but step in and protect the people they're trying to harm.
And as for 4chan... just stay away, lmao. There's nothing of value there, except maybe a life lesson of how not to be.

Soo, I didn't say anything last night about this because I wanted Louis to have his moment but people are already talking about it so why not
And I think it makes the question "what's the point of the film?" even harder because it is for the fandom, the GP doesn't even probably know he released a doc, so they perfectly knew we would either recognise the pice of shit or find him
So, why is Nizam in it? Why was he given a platform, even if it's just to speak about Lou? And most importantly, why is Louis friends with him??
That guy's twitter is genuinely scary and I'm not the one that usually goes around and bringing shit up from like 10 years ago, but these things are from YESTERDAY
And I saw someone saying "imagine if he went to a show and finding out you stood next to him, it's so scary", and well, I remember very clearly him going to a show in 2018, and people were upset and uncomfortable back then too obv, I really hope he didn't go this time
It's just doesn't make any sense putting him in the film and at not even, idk, at least make him go private on his account
I really wasn't expecting something like this from Louis, it's such a low blow
(I'm not saying stop immediately being his friend, actually do pls, just, maybe don't put an homophobic, transphobic, misogynistic, and anti semitic (I could keep going) asshole in the doc?!)
It's gonna be a nightmareee
Ugh. I really can’t stand that guy and I have no idea why Louis is still friends with him. I was honestly shocked he was in the docu at all. I just looked at his Twitter and was revolted by some of the stuff he’s retweeted.

so here’s what’s been going on:
a couple days ago on July 2nd, TGC, again, retweeted fanart featuring whitewashed characters, this time white skykids. now, I’m not on Twitter much anymore, but I was that day. I was among others who commented how offensive it was for TGC to be promoting artwork that utilized this racist practice.
at first came the usual opposition, I gave my piece, then the convo died down. thought that was the end of it. by the next day, it picked up again with an incredibly mean-spirited tone — insults, bad faith takes, attempts to shame my friends and I. it was pretty disgusting.
eventually another Twitter user reached out to me and shared a Reddit link. someone had reposted a few of our tweets without censoring our usernames to r/skychildrenoflight (an unofficial subreddit not affiliated with TGC) with full intent to mock and deride us. that post currently sits on the subreddit with over 250 upvotes and over 200 comments, the vast majority of which are so stupid, asinine, and unsurprisingly racist. it explains how the discussion picked up again — the thread had been brigaded, my friends and I were being harassed.
I’m not here to talk about why this is an instance of whitewashing and why it is bad — I have already done that, though it’s overdue for me to make a more comprehensive, eloquent write-up.
Sky is a wonderful game. I love Sky, I love the world, I have invested so much creative energy into it. I love playing music on the game. I have multiple fics in the works. I used to engage with lorechat in Skycord on the regular, enjoying sharing my thoughts and discussing theories with others there. I am always fascinated by the artwork the community produces, even started trying to draw myself. the fanart TGC retweeted the other day isn’t even that bad compositionally — the artist is incredibly talented — the problem is the whitewashing that is all too common here.
I have never been in a fandom where a disgustingly racist practice, among others, was so accepted. I have never been in a fandom that harbored bigots who were so hateful towards the kinds of people Sky normalized, that they were playing as and interacted with. this community frequently proclaims itself as welcoming, diverse, and wholesome, but those words are hollow when many perpetuate bigotry then attack those who call it out, saying “it doesn’t exist here” and “you’re making shit up to get mad at” and “your ancestors would be ashamed of you.”
on that last one, I should mention that the commentary got disgustingly personal. I stated that I was Black in the Twitter thread, which many latched on to. they said I was entitled, never faced real racism, was a child, was pulling the race card, was “the real racist,” was why Black people are not taken seriously in discourse.
I shouldn’t have to mention that I have faced racism irl, including violence, including followed by a police officer on campus in the dark that could have ended poorly. I shouldn’t have to mention the racist harassment I have faced both online and offline. I play Sky and engage with its community because the game gave me the idea that I could escape the world that hated me for one where I felt seen and welcomed. if someone was being hateful, adding more to pile of bigotry I have to fucking live with, I thought I would have the backing of the community to support me when I fought back. I was wrong.
what happened over the last couple of days exposed me to some of the worst the Sky community has to offer and it didn’t even surprise me.
it is well documented how people of color like myself are mistreated in white-dominated spaces. our discomfort is viciously denied as false or exaggerated. we are told to suck it up because fandom is supposed to be enjoyed, an escape, “don’t bring politics in here.” except fandom perpetuates the same problems we are trying to escape from. we are not given a damn break.

Hi, before reading, I'm going to warn you that this post contains trigger warning: P***philia, Z**philia, T****phobia/H***phobia and such more.
This is both a joke but also a serious post, something unusual for me. I didn't know where to post this :P
For some reason, I like things that are deemed controversial. For example: FNF (Friday Night Funkin') which as an insane amount of controversies and the reputation of the game and developers got ruined. It's not even just the community, even the creator, NinjaMuffin, made some transphobic and racist jokes on twitter and said he wanted to make a game called "Kill All [T-Slurs]", or AmorAltra, a mod creator popular for making the mod "Bob and Bosip", based on his Geometry Dash ocs. He made porn of his underaged friends and groomed a minor.
Or FNAF, which as even more controversies than FNF. The main one that people know is Scott Cawthon donating to Anti-LGBTQ+ people and Donald Trump, but there also others like Kane Carter, creator of the fangame Popgoes, saying the "The word with the hard R" (his words, not mine) in Phisnom (FNAF+'s creator) DMs and also having a Soundcloud account with the N-Word in it. He had already racist allegations made about him before but those were fake and just a out-of-context tweet.
Or Disney (well, more specifically I like Pixar and Disney's history, which is still controversial.), which they don't even need an explanation. I mean, from their insane prices of their products (Like seriously, a little stitch thingy at Disneyland Paris that you put on your shoulder costed me 20 euros, I could almost buy a Blahaj with that amount of money.) to changing characters' race in their Live Action adaptation (and if you want my opinion on this, I just don't care. I mean both as in I don't care about the race of a Disney character being changed in AN ADAPTATION nor I care about the live action movies. The only ones I like is the Christopher Robin one and Saving Mr. Banks.)
Lately I've been obsessed with Silly Cat (also known as The Boykisser, Silly Cat is it's actual name.) and Shy Gal. Maybe some of you might already know why Shy Gal is controversial, and if not, I'll make it simple: Minus8, creator of Shy Gal and also the Toppin' Gals, admitted on his old tumblr 8 years ago that he's a pedophile and would like to rape a child but "he's too scared of the consequences". Many people say that he has changed and he has seeked Therapy (which from what people say it's not true). After I found out about this, I was insecure of making my sona a fusion of the Shy Gal and the Boykisser. And I know that the concept of Shy Gal wasn't invented by Minus8 and he just popularized it by make porn out of her and everyone has already made their OCs of Shy Gal, but I don't want people to look at my pfp and say some shit like "kys minus8 fan". Also, people who defend him for making "good porn" and having a good artstyle are fucking stupid. His sona literally looks like a kid.
The creator of The Boykisser, MauzyMice, drew feral porn at age 14 and has a boyfriend with a NSFW Twitter account where he retweets cub porn and retweeted a Ralsei rule34 one time, and if you didn't know, Ralsei is 14. Mauzy said on her Twitter that she isn't into cub nor feral porn, she isn't even into NSFW at all.
I think that's it for today lol

Engagement is down//
His last post anywhere got 2.3m likes which was more than most of his LOT posts from 2023. I don't know how else to measure engagement as he isn't on twitter or tiktok.
Some asks about Harry, engagement and fandom's reaction to his silence on genocide under the cut.
Hi, anons!
Engagement can be measured in many ways. Likes on posts is one thing. Likes are usually up when he hasn't posted for a while. When he does it consistently and often it's down to a medium level. I usually think of several different ways to measure engagement. Clicks on tabloid articles about him (how interested and invested are people in him?), google search results (how many are googling him), name drop results (how many are talking about harry styles across all media platforms), how many streams are his albums getting (is it up or down?), how much merch does he sell, when he does something is he trending on social media? etc.
I don't have the numbers for all this, but i feel like people are pretty apathetic about his current stunt, people aren’t reblogging or retweeting pictures of them or even hating on them (that would still be engagement). He's been off for a while so that might explain things, but i thought his football match appearance didn’t engage people like i would expect it to. Maybe i'm wrong.
Hi Marte. Considering online outrage doesn't necessarily transfer to the real world. Like there is endless online discourse about JKR but the HP game was one of the best selling games of 2023 despite petitions to cancel it and negative review brigading. It made over a billion on PC alone. A book she released some time ago went straight to number 1 best sellers list. The majority of people are still buying her products. They're making a HP tv series and she's part of it and I wouldn't be surprised if it does well. There is a lot of excitement about it. I guess you could say the same with TSwift. There is nothing but hate for her online and she's still the best selling artist worldwide. So I'm just wondering. Do you think this will be a similar situation with Harry where if he is cancelled online it won't make a difference to his career or do you think he won't hold up as well as the others? I guess it depends on how good his next album is. If his album is really good then people will buy it. I can see him getting a lot of online backlash if he goes back to queer coding when he releases his music.
Yeah, and that's why i wrote that we'll have to see how this impacts him. I don't think a major celebrity will be cancelled in a flash, and they'll go from everything to nothing. It all depends on what the "crime" is too. The HP game did well, but did it do as well as it could have done if JKR wasn't cancelled? Also she's a te*f, i don't think many people in the gp even know what that is. Many also unfortunatly agree with her. So the "crime" isn't percieved to be that severe in the gp's eyes. I think Lizzo is a better example. She's internet cancelled before she's even convicted of anything. She might bounce back (doubt it), but i don't think she'll do as well as previously. Harry is accused of being a zion*st and supporting genocide. I think that's a worse "crime" among the gp and his target audience than the crimes of jkr and lizzo.
I think it all depends on a lot of things. How the situation in Gaza develops, how many other fuck ups H does, how much he stunts, how much he "queerbaits", how good his album is and how he choose to promote it. Despite people not being happy with him for different reasons right now, i don't think it will impact him much. We'll have to see. I'm pretty sure that no matter how he does, he could have done even better if he fixed his zionis* reputation and the queerbaiter reputation.
He'd probably lose all his wealthy American fans if he spoke out against Israel so he's not doing to do it. Not everyone supports Palestine. Tumblr gives a false impression because 70% of users are under 21 (according to tumblr polls).
I'm not saying he needs to speak out against Isr*el. Or support Palestine. I'm saying he should demand a ceasefire and state he doesn’t support genocide. That's saying murder is bad, and that both parties needs to lay down their weapons. It's a pretty neutral and basic statement.
Not everyone supports Palestine, that's true, but most people are against genocide and want a ceasefire. Regardless of that, H's target audience are millenials and gen z, where most people want a ceasefire and to stop genocide from happening. If he loses some zio*ist fans then so be it, he's already lost a million for not speaking up. I can't imagine there being that many zion*sts among his millenial and gen z fans. It's not the fans that's the reason he's not speaking up, it's his label, management and friends and the brand deals he has.
If engagement is down its because his own fans are constantly hating on him and trying to cancel him. So where are fans who don't see things in black and white and are ready to write him off supposed to engage in harry fandom content?
Jeez, anon. Idk, i think a genocide is pretty black and white, it's murder. Either you are for or against. Most people think murder is bad in all circumstances. I think stopping genocide is a bit more important than you getting your harry content...

have you heard from eve????? its been radio silent and im starting to get really worried
Well he hasn’t posted anything in his personal accounts but to my knowledge he’s the one who manages the official art account and that account retweeted some stuff a few hours ago so we can assume he’s fine! The official eve Twitter also posted stuff tho idk if he’s the one who uses it or if his staff is the one that manages it
Also I think we also should take into consideration that japan is going through a lot with the whole earthquake and tsunami situation as well as the recent airplane accident so maybe he thinks it’s not appropriate to be tweeting with all that going on
If something did happen to him I think we would have known by now after all he has a whole team behind it and I would like to believe they would have said something considering how much jp evetwt has been panicking with his silence, no kidding they been spamming all his accounts to get and answer out of him so yeh if something did in fact happen I’m sure they all would have gotten answers by now
I know we are all worried I’m too but I think it would be best to remember that there’s this distance between him and us and we shouldn’t really be spamming him and telling him how worried we are bc in the end he’s not our friend. He’s probably taking some time off with his family and resting before coming back up with more new stuff
I feel like he saw the whole thing spiral out of control and decided to retweet some stuff to let everyone know he’s oks and I feel like that’s enough. We are all worried but he has his way to handle social media so most we can do is be patient and let him do his thing. So don’t panic! He’s most likely safe and well!

So... I was in my Mean Girl Era last night.
I exposed someone for pretending they aren't white on Twitter, as they attempted to claim Taylor Swift is racist. All it took was a few minutes of searching their acc for specific words and while it took a Tweet from 2014, I finally got it. They are white and took up pretending to be black about 3 years ago around the same time they got into [specific genre of music] and were offended over being told they are just some 'fetishizing white girl myob'.
So, the claims started up some time mid-2020, but they have selfies and links to their Instagram proving they and all their friends are whiter than snow itself. Also, their most recent retweet was them carelessly mocking the recent shooting a that mall...
To cap off my findings, I told them their fav that they never even knew, was a well-known racist that no one cared about, and that them only having sympathy for his cooling corpse, over the lives and well-being of people right now, is pathetic and to go cry about it.
I'm in rare form, IDC.

ok I have a theory I would like to share and I hesitated a while because I will very kindly ask you all not to go harass this person on reddit (whoever she is) if you know what I am talking about. If she is a legit victim she deserves respect so please dont make it worse for her. If she is not, then don't give these girls the attention anymore please, they dont deserve it. Lets keep it on this blog between us please. That is why I dont want to share the link of that reddit post but I am sure most of you know what im talking about.
So here it goes, bare with me.
About mid-december a post was published on reddit about how a actor who was in a popular Netiflix show that was trending had cause a lot of trauma to the Original Poster (OP on reddit). That it also involved SA. Im sure you have all heard about it. The OP refused to say exactly what was done to her in terms of SA? if you are anonymous on reddit, why not share your story fully if you will go on and post about it?
Anyways, after the allegations came out, it was updated to say it was about Percy.
When this whole mess started on Jan18, some twitter accounts were making threads about all the awful stuff Percy has done, liked, shared etc. (all at once in the span of 2-3 hours btw for some reason, kind of convenient no?)
This particular reddit post was sent to one of these threads by a twitter account who said they were just scrolling through reddit and found the post. I wont share it because I dont want people to go harass this person whoever it is and give more attention as well, but I did find the twitter account who first shared the reddit post on twitter. Mind you this twitter account who first shared the reddit post was created in January 2023 and has not tweeted anything sinc except this. All this account does is like stuff. Kind of convenient again...
Aries and the girls then retweeted this reddit post as more "proof". Now I have been on reddit for a while and that would be a very hard post to find because there are no titles suggesting this would be about Percy. So I think this person knew where to look and what they were looking for.
Also the OP had not commented on her reddit post for a while, but went back to comment on the post about 6 days ago to say that there's more girls that have not said anything. Aries went public on twitter again about 6 days ago...you see where im going with this?
This reddit post was first posted around the same time (a couple days difference) when Aries started trashing Percy on twitter in December, saying how she wants him "gone from the world". She tried the "he threw wild parties, he is a rapist" bit in December as well during an interaction with a friend on twitter. I cant find said tweets anymore because her friend went private but it was this one: https://twitter.com/ellieandjoeI. It did not pick up in December. They tried again in January by commenting on a Wavier shipper account on twitter and then in exploded.
Also the latest comment on the reddit post that was made about 22 hours ago at this time (if you go find the reddit post and sort by new). You can read the full comment if you wish but this person is saying "This Reddit post was posted when Wednesday was gaining popularity and there were no names attached and it was just a general support post. This was not posted after the allegations came out....... This a safe space for people suffering from PTSD and don’t come onto my support post claiming I’m lying. "...there is not a single comment, i swear not a single one on this entire reddit post saying that she is lying. Everyone was supporting her there. She sounds erratic in her latest comment. People are saying these girls are lying on twitter mainly. So I dont know whey she is freaking out on reddit.
Imo this reddit OP is Aries. Or at least one of the girls who accused him on twitter or a friend or whoever I don't know. But I think this person knows Aries. And if that is true, I think this kind of proves this is all a scam because Aries acted like she had never seen this reddit post when she shared in on twitter.
This is just a theory and i cant confirm it it any way, and it can probably be disproven but the original posting just as Aries was starting to bash Percy, another comment just when Aries went back on public 6 days ago, and now this latest comment of the OP freaking out. I dunno...again, just a theory
But please dont go commenting on this reddit post if yall have reddit and find it, it will not do anyone any good and just gather more attention on the matter. So I beg you dont do it. Just give me your thoughts on my theory instead. Thanks! hope i made sense lol i dont know anymore
Thanks for sharing this theory with me, Anon. I’m sure that the people on this blog won’t harass anyone. We’re not like the twitter trolls.
I agree with you. The only thing is that I don’t think Miss Shitshow #1 could actually write such a long and coherent text. So maybe one of her friends.

Twitter no longer lets me send DMs to anyone except mutuals. I have exactly one (1) mutual, so for literally every other user I just get an error message telling me my chat failed to send. "Delete for you, or try again," it says, knowing full well that no mattet how many times I try it'll keep shooting it down. Have I been shadowbanned? I used to be able to send people messages, I used to commission artists all the time, but now I can't. This is horseshit, and I can't get a straight answer out of qnyone because I can count the number of twitter employees on one hand, and every single reddit post or quora question that pops up on google is from four or five years ago, so they're of no help to me now. Every source wants you to think that the fault lies with the receiver, that they must not allow unsolicited messages from non-mutuals, but that's not true. If someone closes their DMs, the option goes away. You can't click the envelope icon, it's just not there. If they allow messages, they allow them for everyone they haven't blocked, and I know for a fact I haven't been blocked by every artist I follow because I've never interacted with most of them outside regular likes and retweets. Why would they block a random follower? I'm clearly not spam, so unless twitter itself has caught me in some filter, there should be at least ONE person it would let me talk to.
Twitter is the real hellsite.

I would really love your opinion on exactly who Tash Pow is. So she has like 13k followers on TW fir creating & posting ridiculous memes about Sam. I know that he didn’t like the demeaning aspect of them & she got upset & with the advice of her husband (what’s that about) she went from Aus to NOLA to apologize?! The whole thing is extremely bizarre to me.
She raises funds for things, in his name. How does he feel about that? Recently someone “stole” her meme, Sam retweeted and the entire twitter fandom blew up and she leaves to pout saying she’s never coming back. Her minion SFTahoeMaui or whatever her name is, posts on her behalf. Then Tash is back. After 4 days!!
Now, she’s created a website for her shitty sparkly merch and is raising funds for the Lyceum Theatre. It’s all very creepy, weird, possibly illegal, and I just don’t get it.
Sigh, so I wrote this lengthy answer to you yesterday Anon, and then right when I was adding some last sentences.... lost the whole post 😞
So why the late answer, and I try to rewrite what I wrote and lost...
First of all, I watched it all from a distance, didn't keep up all the time but think I saw the 'highlights' and how things evolved. I try to be as impartial as I can, I don't take any sides in this. It's solely my observation and it's possible I might see some things in the wrong context.
Beginning at the beginning (for me), first thing I saw was about 2.5 years ago, when she just took down all the 'Still Hot' memes. Apparently because Sam told her he didn't want to be objectified, and of course she obeyed dutifully to his request. Though I think she might've been somewhat disappointed as I recall she wrote something that she only meant fun and people were seeing it as that. It all created some stir amongst her followers who liked her memes and S tweeted:
Tumblr media
Then she went to NOLA indeed (with approval of her husband), brought him several whisky samples from Australia and talked to him to make sure there were no hard feelings left. And all was good and they all sang Kum Ba Ya again together
Tumblr media
She went on with her account, changed the style of her memes a little, 'Still' was still in there, 'Hot' left. I found it from time to time funny and creative. She created initiatives supporting him and a birthday present, a video with lots of fan messages to be presented at his birthday. Her popularity increased further on and you could almost speak of the beginning of a fandom within the fandom. Even with some minor skirmish now and again.
She started to work with other fan accounts, and they initiated the Save a Seat project, amongst others with SF. A fundraising for the Lyceum Theatre in Edinburgh. Which, at itself was nice and successful and of course very much appreciate by the Lyceum as well as by S. And widely reported in the fandom as you might have expected!
But.. [there's always a but isn't it?], as it is with groups forming, there are the supporters and there are the ones that start questioning things, or disagreeing on how things are done. And little by little we saw more and more skirmish or even some heated discussions going on, not always in a very respectful tone. I might have posted now and then some of it, especially where it concerned SF's tone of posting.
People were bullied, harassed, blocked for having an opinion that didn't match with theirs. Even blocking lists were created and spread around.
Meanwhile another charity project was formed by some, outside the group and not involving Tash&Friends. The Supernovalegacy raising funds for students for the RCS. Nothing wrong with that, all good initiatives at itself. And why would you not tolerate another one within a fandom. It's like having more than one bakery in a village, not every one likes to buy their bread at that one bakery and it's a good thing to be able to choose. Even more, some competition can make parties stronger.
Except that is not what was happening, the groups started to fight each other, over the attention of their superhero, and more and more harsh disputes and accusations where thrown at each other back and forth. Not necessarily by the ring leaders themselves, but by others supporting one or the other group. But you know how it goes when you put your head above the parapet...
At some point Tash's account seemed to be suspended. I think it was about her selling mugs with the image of S on it (her memes). She created something she called the ' Sparkling Lounge' and had a page on bonfire selling mugs and T-shirts. Apparently opponents reported it and her account on Twitter was under investigation. Though little while later it was there again and there was no real explanation about what had happened (as far as I could see).
But what you can take from it is that there was much prejudice, accusations and more and more harsh discussions and blocking going on. Other accounts in the fandom taking sides, while bystanders didn't really know how to act or what to say, or even felt unsafe to express their opinion. And perhaps bystanders that rather want to keep their distance from it all, kept silent or even left. As the whole thing started to look more and more like children quarrels on the schoolyard.
Then recently we saw how they tumbled over each other when their knight in shining armour retweeted a tweet with a meme from Tash that was posted by someone else., naming it his fav. Not Tash herself (as she acts more passive aggressive imo), but others from her 'fandom' started to point out that it wasn't a meme of the poster but from Tash. And a war that took days began over crediting owners of images, editing images in the right and the wrong way and other things that we would all shake our heads about. It evolved in calling Tash a bully with screenshots of tweets as proof and ended with some better known fan accounts shutting down their account, including Tash.
As you can expect the legendary philanthropist and their devoted head master kept wisely silent after his unfortunate retweet and didn't come to the rescue. Though I saw he liked an article about the wretched meme in one of the tabloids, but didn't retweet it. (which he normally does!) Only his thirsty driver tweeted something about the whole drama, trying to extinguish the fire, and another fan account posted after the dust settled somewhat down:
Tumblr media
After a little while Tash was back, though her tweets are private only to be viewed by verified followers. Her bonfire site still exists and she's still selling mugs and Tshirts (some with his image on it) stating the revenue goes to good causes like the Lyceum and Unicef.
But to me the underlying factor of the all the drama's is the groups craving for attention, jealousy and not granting the other party the light in the eyes or should I say any attention of their King of Men. And grounds for accusations are easily found, especially when it involves money/funds. When you do it on your personal account, it is hard to proof your good intentions.
I actually don't think any of them all, both sides, has bad intentions or doing anything fraudulent (though again you can see how important transparency is in these things), but all seeds for toxicity are present. It turns people off and can only lead to a bad ending. No matter how good the intentions of all involved were.
Being respectful and accepting other opinions, agreeing to disagree peacefully goes a long way. But sadly a number of the louder accounts chose to bully and harass in their shortsightedness caused by being overly devoted to a person, resulting in what we see today.
Concluding I have to add that this whole phenomenon is not unique to the Twitter community, but you can observe the same right here on Tumblr between the groups being convinced of the different narratives floating around and defending it fiercely. In this era where we have many more means to communicate than say 30 years ago, we still haven't learned how to communicate in a constructive way.

my day on drug policy twitter
I’m on Twitter as Megarittz. Today I tweeted this:
“D.A.R.E. was co-founded by Daryl Gates, who also co-founded the SWAT team. Gates once said publicly that casual drug users should be shot.“
The response has been positive. My tweet has been retweeted by Kassandra Frederique (director of the Drug Policy Alliance, one of the main drug reform organizations in the US) and by the Drug Policy Alliance account itself, as well as by a few journalists. It’s slightly nerve-wracking but also cool.
This is even better than the time Peter Hitchens (who advocates escalating the war on drugs) retweeted me to insinuate that I might be biased in my drug policy views because I use drugs. (i mean yeah okay, fair enough)
I stand by my contention that Twitter is a terrible medium for sharing ideas. I try to make up for my usage of it by tweeting a lot about why Twitter is bad. Also today I posted some tweets about basically how, by forcing us to abbreviate our ideas, Twitter makes it harder for us to respect one another, because appreciating the complexity of one another’s ideas is part of what it means to respect one another.
A few days ago, I also posted some tweets arguing that people generally should not change their minds based on Twitter posts, because changes in mind ought to stem from reasons that are more complex than can be expressed on Twitter-- especially, perhaps, complex political issues. One sad implication of this is that, when someone on Twitter posts a badly wrong defense of drug prohibition or suchlike, and then a bunch of more reasonable respondents swarm them with counterarguments, it might (often) not be rational for the prohibitionist to change their mind as a result-- despite the fact that the prohibitionist has a badly wrong view and the swarm of respondents is correct.
Exclusively talking to people we already agree with isn’t close to ideal either. People end up badly misunderstanding the other side, performatively signaling for their own side, etc. But constructive discussion with people on the other side is hard in the best of circumstances, and almost impossible on Twitter. I don’t have an easy solution here.
I appreciate the hedons generated in my brain by the retweets and comments, though. But of course my tweet about Daryl Gates is also oversimplified, and does not account for the more nuanced (but still terrible) context of when he said it, and what he said later. More caveats could be added on his use of hyperbole, and what he did and didn’t mean by what he said. When I looked into this a bit some months ago, I also have failed to find at least some of the earliest reporting on it, and I’m not sure if the full original quote in context can be found. Gates doubled down on it multiple times afterward though, so I think the gist of it is surely correctly reported. This further complexity is not in my tweet.
I think the bottom line is that Gates used murderous rhetoric, he stood by his rhetoric, and he did so as a police chief in the context of materially propping up a system of violence and coercion against people who use (some types of) drugs. And to this day, police officers here in the USA and in many other countries engage in many unjustified killings and acts of brutality, which many people then defend by saying the victim was on drugs. Some of this defense rests on the understandable (albeit still biased and stereotype-ridden) premise that an intoxicated person’s behavior was so uncontrollable that the police’s actions were needed in self-defense or for public safety. A lot of the defense, however, rests on flagrant dehumanization toward people who use (some types of) drugs, or toward people with (some types of) drug problems.
My tweet also could not contain a discussion on why I think the Gates thing matters, e.g. how DARE (like its sibling, the SWAT team) is emblematic of the dehumanization and brutality of the drug war, and how the discrediting of DARE should lead to rethinking everything else as well. Many people know DARE was bullshit, but they don’t draw enough further inferences-- DARE was part of a massive propaganda machine that has poisoned our epistemology of drugs on every level. We know much less about drugs than we think we do.
There is also the further wrinkle that DARE supposedly underwent significant changes in 2009 (and/or 2001), which some commentators think greatly improved it, but also other reports suggest it was still awful afterwards. (I gathered a few links together here. My thoughts on this are very preliminary and inconclusive.)
Anyway yeah, Daryl Gates sucked. But I did learn (here) that Gates also supported a policy against arresting undocumented immigrants, so that was one non-sucky thing about him. His rationale was mainly that a policy of non-arrest was needed in order for police to secure the trust and cooperation of undocumented immigrants who were crime victims or crime witnesses. I suspect Gates’s argument can actually be extended to strengthen the case for drug decriminalization on similar grounds --albeit, of course, with myriad hard-to-summarize caveats.
