Even though King Julien’s character in the PoM show is more selfish and narcissistic, I love that Julien’s soft spot for children is consistent across the board.
When I first started AHKJ and watched S2E8:“Daddy Julien”, despite the weirdness of Mort pretending to be his son, I loved seeing Julien act so sweet and caring towards his “child”. He feed him, played with him, read parenting books, and comforted “Prince Falcon” when he got upset. It really drives home the point of what Julien truly desires: a family of his own, where he can give unconditional love and receive it in return (likely stemming from his neglectful upbringing with his own parents).
At first I thought “if only this side of King Julien existed early on in the PoM show “. But, after rewatching the show recently, there is definitely moments where his paternal side shines through!
Some notable examples are:
Lemmy the Robot Lemur 🤖: Julien was so happy to “raise” Lemmy and teach him all his dance moves, it is very similar to how a father proudly teaches his son all his favorite activities to spend time together. He was so unexpectedly heartbroken when the penguins blew him up that they decided to fix Lemmy again to make him happy. He acted like such a proud dad too when he saw Lemmy on TV before he was eaten by an alien.
Eggy the Duckling 🐣: In his first appearance, Julien was smitten with that tiny duck egg. He had a whole song dedicated to him! Singing about all the things him and his “JJ” would do together once he hatched. My heart broke for him when Mama Duck took Eggy back and said “Does she get to keep ALL the JJ’s”. But when he returned, Julien encouraged Eggy’s (albeit dangerous) dream of being a commando. And when Eggy couldn’t defeat him, he cheered him up by showing him the ways of “shaking booty”. Cause there was no way his “JJ” would be sad on his watch!
Baby Skipper 🐧: Julien was gushing over baby Skipper, whom he named “Petey”, about how cute and tiny he was. And despite being an annoying babysitter, Julien still tried to take good care of him. He played peak-a-boo with him, “feed” him (a misconstrued way yes but it’s the thought that counts), and sang him a lullaby. But his greatest moment was when he jumped in front of “Petey” to protect him from a flying brick thrown his way. That lemur would do anything to protect an adorable baby!
Baby Fossa 🐱: Though he spent most of the episode being afraid of the baby fossa and tried to ship him away, the minute the fossa called him “dada” he did a compete 180! He went as far as to keep him safe from Savio! You know, the giant boa snake whom Julien abandoned the Penguins and Marlene to in a previous episode, and even offered himself up to be eaten first instead of the baby fossa. He has such a soft spot for babies, it’s implied he stayed around the fossa afterwards despite being bitten by him constantly, and referred to himself as “papa” when saying goodbye on the fossa’s last day at the zoo.
It goes to show that even in his worst adaptations, Julien still has a good heart deep down❣️, at least when it comes to children.
Even though it’ll likely never happen, if Dreamworks ever decides to give him kids, I firmly believe King Julien would make a great papa! 👨‍👧‍👦

The implications that some of the flashbacks in The Penguins of Madagascar have on All Hail King Julien are wild to me. AHKJ takes place over roughly a year and a half, and throughout his reign Julien is shown to be fun and caring. He'll sometimes make selfish decisions, but more often than not he does what he does out of love for his kingdom. He wants what's best for his peoples, though the manner in which he goes about achieving that goal is usually misguided. Either way, he is shown to be kind and full of joy.
On the other hand, TPOM shows Julien as vain and narcissistic. Now this fine for the setting of the show, as it takes place after the films and people can change over time. However, we also see flashbacks to his rule on Madagascar that also show him being vain and narcistic. For example, in the episode Happy King Julien Day! Maurice has a flashback to a prior King Julien Day in which the kingdom forgot and Julien then cruelly "whooped" his people, with Maurice commenting that he "couldn't sit right for a week" after the whooping. There are other examples of this sort of thing being brought up in TPOM, though the specifics aren't really important.
Obviously we didn't see Julien's entire reign throughout AHKJ, since there were only 78 episodes. Nonetheless, it is funny imagining Julien being fun and partying on-screen one day, and then the next day off-screen he's just being a cruel tyrant with a reign of terror that echoes that of Uncle King Julien.

An in-depth character analysis of Skipper: pt 2
Tumblr media
So, tv Skipper is a bit of a contrast to movie Skipper, as I stated in my MASSIVE ramble in part 1 💀 Even though he’s so different, he does have his quirks and some decent character development. It’s also great to see how much Tom’s voice acting evolves over the seasons and I thank him so much for putting his heart into it 🥺
This is also going to be a long one I am so sorry, I tried
This version of Skipper started off pretty similar to his movie counterpart as the show was finding its footing, but soon evolved into his own version of himself as the series went on. In early season 1, we see Skipper be somewhat down to earth and have quite an honourable attitude. He’s not super shouty-screamy and we see him being pretty domestic, which is probably because season 1 is pretty slice-of-life compared to the other two seasons.
I think the main points to mention here are in Happy King Julien Day and Assault and Batteries - in hkjd, despite all sorts of interruptions Skipper gets a little angry, but doesn’t really act upon it, he just minds his own business. Eventually he confronts Julien, but remains civil throughout the entire thing. In Assault and Batteries, he takes the batteries but does so sneakily to minimise confrontation. And when Julien chases him, he doesn’t fight. Throughout the entire episode (and a good bit of the show), he remains somewhat civil and tries to minimise confrontation with Julien. He’s also pretty sweet at the end when he offers a high five like bro that’s adorable I can’t-
We also get to see some decent character development for him in season 1, as there’s a lot of Skipper-centric episodes. In Needle Point, Skipper realises he should take the shot so that Private doesn’t get sick - he takes accountability for his actions, and his conversation with Private is pretty sweet. I love that you get to see Skipper being sweet (especially with Private) in the series, since they’ve had the time to show a bit of his vulnerable side here and there.
But I think that the most important character development point in Skipper’s story is Miss Understanding - Since the start of season 1, Skipper was pretty sexist and it gets so bad that he thinks he can’t do anything he did before because he’s a girl. He eventually saves the guys and the episode comes to a resolution.
But here’s the thing, not once is he sexist after that (Unless I’ve missed a few things here and there but I think he genuinely learns his lesson) which makes me think that his sexism is intentional on the writers part bc they do make it a point that it’s wrong, so w tpom and it’s pretty neat and rare for an early 2000s show to cover. This is why I love love love season 1 Skipper - he’s flawed but in a realistic way and he usually makes an effort to fix his mistakes. He’s also quite nonchalantly chaotic like in the movies, whereas in later seasons he’s more aggressively chaotic if you catch my drift? Idk how to explain well lmao.
As for his other traits, he’s pretty paranoid and egocentric, but still as suave, sassy and sarcastic as movie Skipper. He’s defo got a lot more of an “I’m right and you’re wrong” attitude than his counterpart and is a fair bit grumpier which is pretty funny. He’s got a bit of a hero complex here (eg. Treasure of the Golden Squirrel) and at first he’s arguably more chaotic good than neutral compared to the movies, but it’s not such a big change that it makes it bad in any way. I mean, he still kinda has it out for the humans and chooses violence without a second thought which is hilarious to me 💀
As the series progresses, Skipper starts to get increasingly paranoid and aggressive, and a lot of his negative traits start to show more. In early season 2 he’s fine but you can tell when the writers were starting to lose the plot both with the characters and stories in late season 2. It kinda feels like his character took a 180 turn and went backwards, but honestly it’s not that noticeable and I just happen to love analysing these things. I mean, it also happens to Kowalski, who around the same time starts becoming a bit of an asshole and gets worse in season 3 - in Snowmageddon, he’s rlly dismissive of Private and Fred.
I think Skipper also ends up suffering what I like to call the “Sabrina Spellman treatment” because he starts making mistakes and refusing to take accountability, usually pinning the blame on someone else without repercussions. I guess it’s the only real “problem” I have with his character in the series but honestly it’s just something that tends to happen as shows go on for a long time and it’s not all that bothersome. But the thing is, he starts getting better again in season 3 and he gets more character development (eg. Snowmageddon where him and Marlene work rlly well as a team and Antics on Ice where he’s pretty much doing everything for Private 🥺) so idk what happened there 💀
Overall, tv Skipper is still a loveable little guy and I find it so funny when he gets angry out of nowhere, my fav crazy Skipper moment being the one where he swears he’s never gonna end up in Hoboken and starts screaming his lungs out 💀 (absolutely top-notch voice acting as always ofc).
But with this, I hope that you’ve enjoyed my ridiculously long character analysis and feel free to tell me your thoughts, this is all just my opinion after all :)
If you’re somehow still reading this I congratulate you, you get a gold star ⭐️

Mort v.s. Roommate
Mort - All Hail King Julien
Mort, despite appearances, is an incredibly old interdimensional being who has been married 12 times and has grandchildren. He's part starfish and has grown his head back once. Mort has the ability to absorb souls, including versions of himself and his grandma. He also has a foot fetish. Read amount more about Mort below.
Roommate - Diary of a Tourney Kid
A clone of Adam Ruins Everything that came out wrong. He debunks things in the same way as his original, but completely incorrectly. Bill Cipher turned him into a hand puppet and fused him with a clone of another character. Fought Walter White and his evil shadow self, Walter Black. Read more about Roommate below.
Full description of Mort:
"I doubt I'm the only one submitting him because it has become a meme but I might be the only one who has seen the entire show many many times so I will give a full rundown about the pure beautiful insanity that is AHKJ Mort.
Ok so I'll give the context for how he came to be the way he is. In the movie Madagascar there is a joke about Mort being too close to King Julien's feet. In that scene it is framed that King Julien just doesn't like Mort. But the show The Penguins of Madagascar (TPOM) took that joke and made an episode called Two Feet High and Rising about how Mort loves King Julien's feet and is exiled for not being able to stop himself from touching them. Pretty weird stuff but it's nothing compared to what comes later. For the rest of TPOM Mort loving King Julien's feet is a constant thing. It's like his main characteristic and you almost forget how weird it is. It's just like yeah that's Mort he loves feet *shrug* But other than that he's like a little kid and is generally cute. But now we get to All Hail King Julien and OH BOY things go insane in that show in the best ways. I'll probably submit multiple characters from it just because there's so much weird there.
So here's the meat of this essay I'm apparently writing here, the weird of AHKJ Mort.
He is a interdimensional being capable of absorbing alternate versions of himself. Those versions of himself are able to talk to him as voices in his head which he sometimes sees as appearing in front of him. The inside of his mind is a bunch of hallways with those versions running around and they are capable of taking control of him in various situations. When he drinks coffee Smart Mort takes over. When he drinks Tea Hippie Mort takes over and at one point Political Mort beats up the other Morts inside his head to take control so he could win the election for Prime Minister of Mangos. He also absorbed his grandmother and didn't remember doing that. In the actual show he absorbed his grandfather who tried to convince him to kill King Julien because King Juliens great-great-great-great-great-great-great grandfather locked him up when Mort was a baby. Oh and that gets into the age thing. Yeah Mort is absurdly old and it's a running joke that he looks like a kid but is actually very old. There was also an alternate version of him called Morticus Khan who was the leader of the Mort Horde and Mort defeated him by absorbing his essence. At one point he states that he had been married 12 times and most of his wives died of old age. He also says at one point that he hasn't laid an egg in 40 years and even then the thing he hatched was really gross. Another time he mentions having grandchildren and when Maurice asks "You have grandchildren" he shoots webs out of his wrists and shouts "WHAT!? Did they escape? Don't let them find me!". Yeah we are still talking about the cute little lemur from Madagascar. There's also a scene where he finds a wardrobe that leads into the real world and it goes live action for a few seconds before he turns around and goes back. He also tried to murder a dude for a while. This other kingdom took over and Mort tries to shoot him with a crossbow, poison him and crush him with a rock. None of these attempts are successful. He also seriously disfigures a character named Rob McTodd who had had too much plastic surgery done (yes this is a real plotline for the lemur characters lol) Mort jumped on his face and messed it up and then he comes back in a phantom of the opera storyline. He also mentions at one point that he's part starfish and grew his head back once.
So that's how having a foot fetish is somehow no longer the weirdest thing about this character. That's still a thing too though. He had a box that he said he's going to put King Julien's feet inside when he dies. They played real life Monopoly and was winning so much that everyone else was starving and he tried to use having all the money to extort King Julien into letting him go on a date with his foot. (It was like a candlelit table with Mort on one and and Julien's foot up on a pillow at the other end. Julien immediately changed his mine and left lol)
Now I wanna go on about how exactly we got here lol. The whole absorbing thing started with Smart Mort. The idea that he got smart when he drank coffee was established at the end of season 1. Then in season 2 episode 4 Pineapple of my Eye King Julien is weirdly obsessed with a pineapple because he thinks it has the souls of his ancestors inside. Mort is seeing it speak to him and mock him as well as other voices in his head including a weirdly aggressive violent one who wants to burn the kingdom to the ground. The idea of him being way older is first just when King Julien kicks him and people think he kicked a baby and he says "That wasn't a baby it was an annoying little weirdo" but the first time it's more of a real thing is in an episode where King Julien wants a son so Mort paints his tail striped and pretends and King Julien seems convinced by it and is like super into it. And then at the end Mort confesses and King Julien already knew and said "It's Mort I mean come on he could be my father!" and so then in another episode he calls another character Hector whos whole thing is that he's a grumpy old war veteran "grandpa" mockingly and Hector says "You're older than I am Mort" The voices thing also continues and goes from just being Mort moving back and forth into different positions when the voices talk to actually seeing multiple Morts on screen talk to each other and then we get the whole Morticus Khan and the Mort Horde thing which is where the absorbing souls thing is revealed. And then he goes into his own mind and meets his grandmother who reveals that he absorbed her and then all the the stuff about the 12 wives and the laying an egg and the grandchildren are from the last season when we've reached maximum crazy mode.
That's how this show works with basically everything. There will be a joke or a plot of an episode which is a little weird. It gets called back and becomes a little weirder. It then becomes a running joke and then gets weirder and weirder every time it comes back. I love this show so much. I know this got a little redundant but I love explaining how this all built up over the show with how they kept adding those weirdness layers as it went lol I mostly wrote all this from memory except to get the number of greats that Mort's grandpa said correct shakfdsahflk I have seen this show too many times
If you hadn't seen any of the memeing about Mort's wikipedia page and so this is all news to you I hope reading this was fun for you lol"
Full description of Roommate:
"OK OK OK SO LIKE. HE'S FROM THIS MASHUP TOURNAMENT HOSTED ON SOUNDCLOUD & DISCORD CALLED "DIARY OF A TOURNEY KID, RIGHT? YES, IT IS BASED OFF OF DIARY OF A WIMPY KID IN NAME, THEMING, AND A BUNCH OF THE CHARACTERS IN IT. AND YES, THE ENTIRE PREMISE WAS STARTED BY GREG HEFFLEY TRAPPING A BUNCH OF PEOPLE IN THE DIARY. LOOK. OKAY. THAT ISN'T THE POINT HERE. (including a few real people but. roommate isn't one of those real people, LOL)
so Roommate is, like, a WEIRD case. he's a clone of a TV personality version of a real guy(adam conover specifically the whole thing he does in, like, adam ruins everything), but is SPECIFICALLY STATED TO BE A SEPERATE CHARACTER IN LORE. LIKE. HES A WHOLE OTHER GUY. HE DOESNT EVEN ACT LIKE HIM. HES LIKE. THE SCOOBY DOO VILLAIN EQUIVALENT OF A MAN. all he does is run around and "Debunk" shit but hes getting it all totally WRONG. It's like, if someone who never watched adam ruins everything before took one look at its name, the blonde, glasses wearing combover having guy on the cover, and went. "oh, this guy is gonna be HORRIBLE, isnt he". and in the shows case thatd be wrong but in roommate's case, he's...he's so pathetic. he's not even the same guy at this point. (and also literally isn't. but)
He never even manages to intimidate anyone even once. not even mr beast and ninja fortnite, (part of a team called Dubious Duo) who he just. VERY much annoyed via "ruining" twitch. He also got turned into a meaty handpuppet and fused to another clone of a different character by BILL CIPHER, of all characters but then immediately fell into a hole. He got his shit beaten out of him by a 19 year old punk catboy JUST before this, too. the punk catboys name is Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart BUT HE IS IN NO WAY RELATED TO THE REAL GUY. HES LITERALLY JUST. SOME RANDOM TEENAGER.
Also, extra fun facts about him include: during an event that happened on the discord, he canonically went ":3". He made his own ytp and posted it on the soundcloud account, too. he put a bunch of goofy wacky cartoon sounds in it. (his mashups use these sounds a lot outside of the ytp, too.) (incase you REALLY wanted to hear the ytp, though. here it is: https://soundcloud.com/doatk/ytpmv-02?in=doatk/sets/bonus )
P.S: extra information from a friend because they like to infodump this sort of thing & this isn't nescessary at all. but: He gets the fandom nickname of "Roommate" from his connection to Collegehumor & the Insane Clown Posse song In My Room, which he used in the tournament & is strongly associated with. He's so. He's so normal.
(P.S, P.S: THE IMAGE I SENT WITH THIS IS TECHNICALLY ART OF HIM FROM A CROSSOVER WITH ANOTHER SOUNDCLOUD TOURNAMENT THAT HAPPENED. BUT. its the best render i have that isnt done in like. ms paint LOL. IN SAID CROSSOVER (WITH A TOURNAMENT CALLED "THE PERFECT TOURNAMENT") HE ALSO FOUGHT WALTER WHITE AND HIS. EVIL SHADOW SELF, CALLED WALTER BLACK. WHO WAS LITERALLY HIS SHADOW.)
also: nobody in the fandom knows what his deal is, either. they literally just couldnt catch the real adam conover at first so they (In canon) just went "well! time to make a clone, i guess!" and then he came out WRONG."

So I was looking up why the heck would KJ leave his beloved peeps to join the zoo (cuz I didn’t really understand that as a kid either) and I found a lotta explanations but this one struck me??
Now am confusion
So among the fandom the general opinion is that tpom is a separate universe, an au of sorts.
ahkj and the movies (+specials) can all be reasonably fit into a timeline, but tpom just can't be put anywhere. During the first movie, the penguins want to escape so why would they go back to the zoo in tpom? Also, they don't meet King Julien until they arrive at the island, there's no it could take place before the movies. Also also there's no way King Julien could have left Madagascar (unless Timo or smart Mort helped him, but why would they do that lol) until the penguins met him.
Something that always struck me is the use of language while referring to the gods in the lemur's pantheistic religion. During ahkj they are the "sky gods" and the movies (if I remember correctly) simply just "gods". But in tpom they're only referred to as "sky spirits", and although "god" and "spirit" are used in the same way I think it's worth pointing out as it's another thing to add to the list of discrepancies. So with those 2 points in mind, it's a reasonable assumption to say that tpom is separate from the main timeline. Different voice actors could also be taken into account but that's more meta, so I'll leave that up to you if you want to count that as major point number 3.
In my opinion, the multiverse theory seems to be the most logical interpretation, especially with the knowledge of a multiverse already being cannon in both tpom and ahkj.
With that said I do not like it, my head cannon (aka the timeline I used for my fic) goes as follows: AHKJ -> mada 1, 2, 3 (+specials) -> tpom (tpom movie is not real I am ignoring it). Basically everything is the same as cannon, except at the end of mada 3, KJ and friends have no idea how to get home and the penguins just kinda go "aw fuck it, let's make out base at the zoo." And since the penguins are staying King Julien, Maurice, and Mort (the sweetest baby boy sugar bottom sweet pea angle), all are stuck in New York and just decided to make the best of it. This could also explain why King Julien is more of a cunt in tpom. I love him but he's more problematic than Mort, the way he's written is so ignorant and uncaring compared to ahkj. It could be argued that unlike ahkj he's not the main character, but to me it feels so dramatically different. His shift in personality could be due to loss of control of his life, he simply cannot return to his peeps, so now he's bitter and has just accepted the zoo life. This of course also effects Maurice and Mort, but more so Maurice who is treated less as a friend and more as a servent (not always tho, they still have sweet moments), Mort is basically treated the same in all versions of cannon.
But there's another inconsistency that needs to be addressed: the penguins of Madagascar movie (tpom movie). I'm at a loss with this movie. Not only is it my second least favorite (right under mada 3 for obvious reasons), but it makes no sense. Ignoring all my issues with it and focusing on lore, where the fuck does this fit in??
Tumblr media
The wiki claims that it takes place after mada 3 but this doesn't track. The penguins are shown as kids and presented in this found family kind of light, which is sweet.... But they aren't themselves in my opinion. Skipper is way to much of a dumb ass, it's like he just can't be bothered to give a shit, they make private a fucking baby incapable of doing anything on his own until the end of the movie, and Rico/Kowalski are just there????? If you watch the first 3 movies and follow it up with tpom movie, none of the penguins behave the same. I just hate them so much in this film. Mada 3 and tpom movie fucked up everyone's personality. In mada 1-3 the penguins are shown as more of a military like squad, still found family but not as gushy and sugary sweet. Operation Penguin (game boy game from 2005 showing the events of mada 1 through private's pov) delivers a more accurate portrayal of these fucking birds than their own movie. They're just a group of 4 penguins that work together and love eachother but not in the big dramatic gushy way like tpom movie shows.
BUT WAIT. HAHAHAHAHAH. This isn't over. In Operation penguin, there are more inconsistencies. Gonna just make a list:
1. King Julien has no crown
2. Private is aware of at least one of his blood relatives (his father, Sam Fishy. Meaning Private's full name is "Private Fishy")
Tumblr media
3. Private is sent to defeat the foosa ALONE
4. Maurice is missing, King Julien and Mort are the only 2 lemurs shown in the game
Tumblr media Tumblr media
5. Kowalski ALSO knows at least one blood relative (cousin Jeffrey)
Tumblr media
6. Number 2 and 5 imply that half of the penguins have memories of being in Antarctica. If private hatched on the iceberg in mada 3 he woULDN'T FUCKING KNOW WHO HIS DAD IS AND HE WOWULLF. RBD. GFH KS M EV B , ...,.ZZMS..E. E
In conclusion, any media that is Penguin centric can't fit into mainstream cannon, so believe whatever the fuck your heart tells you to. Most probable is that Movies + specials + ahkj, tpom, topm movie, and Operation penguin (and other games probably) are all parallel alternative universes only available to us through Mort's ability to transcend beyond one universe.
Btw Kowalski likes soap operas.

What were your first thoughts to seeing king Julien?
well the first time i met him was in mada 1 and 2, i wasn't a huge animal person (still am not) so even if i liked the movies just fine they never really stuck with me at such a young age.
then in the wonderful year of 2008 tpom started to air on nick. now i still am not an animal person but i really loved tpom! i remember finding king julien funny, a core memory of him that always stuck with me was when he get's his crown stolen by the big rat guy and skipper retrieves it but gets badly beat up only for kj to notice a spot of dirt on it and throw it away in exchange for one of his many replacement crowns. i think generally i just saw him as an asshole tho, he is the cause of most problems in tpom. so yeah, funny guy but not my favorite, (mort was my favorite because he was cute).
but then last year i watched the really long video about mort. you guys know the one, "crimes of mort" or whatever its like 4 hours long. anyways, my jaw was on the floor the entire time. how could the cute little guy from the silly penguin be this eldritch entity?? what the fuck?!?! so i watched ahkj. i had a vague understanding of the mada timeline up until this point, but i figured since ahkj is the prequel to the movies (+ tpom) i should just watch it all in order. i dont really do much, so i have the time...
i was on a road tip with my family the next day, perfect! i can start ahkj! i was captivated by this world i had rediscovered, not only for mort but for king julien too. he was no longer just an asshole that causes problems, he was a more complex and tragic character. one that is somewhat delusional but tries his best to be good (most times). it was a much kinder take on him and my brain just really clicked with him. i watched a few more episodes and decided i should tell my sister.
we get to our destination and we had some down time to kill in a spare bedroom, i had my laptop with me. i ask her if she wants to watch ahkj with me. "it's actually kinda funny!" i modestly promise her, trying to convince her to jump off the deep end with me. she's tired and bored but ultimately still curious enough to say yes. we are fucking hooked to this godforsaken show.
the next couple of months are spent watching nothing but this fucking show with her. i not only start to like king julien more and more, but also maurice and clover. and mort, fucking mort. this little guy found his way into my heart again, this time of course for reasons other than just 'being cute'.
but back to the question: part of the reason kj had such a big appeal to me upon revisiting him was his queerness. i missed it as a kid but this lemur is queer, so obviously queer. but unlike other shows it's not something that others him, it's just him and it felt really natural?? i dont know if i can articulate how i feel fully in text, but regardless of it being very queerbaity, because they never outright say it, i dont think the show had too explicitly say it. now that's a very personal interpretation feel free to disagree but yeah that's kinda how i feel.
another thing is that is a big draw to this character for me is that he's not a fucking teenager. shows about teens are fine (i love the owl house!!) but as an adult that is no longer in high school i dont wanna watch shows about kids in high school. it just feels like every goddamn thing is set in high school (especially anime which i also love but, ughhh different topic). ahkj and just the mada franchise has the advantage of having non human characters, so it's still a funny kid cartoon thats aloud to be silly and lighthearted, but with adult characters with more adult responsibilities. i think ahkj just hit me at the right time in my life, i was able to relate to some of the more general ideas of the show, ya know??
so tldr; as a kid i didnt care for him in tpom but as an adult revisiting him in ahkj he was weirdly relatable. mort is still my favorite despite everything.

anon literally love u for sending in Maurice, like….. i don’t think I’ve ever done any serious maurice chats that aren’t just about kj. i mean a bunch of this probably is gonna be abt kJ but still!
* favorite thing about them
I feel like I keep saying complexity but I really like that he is given so many layers. The fact that he is sensitive and that’s it’s not seen as a huge massive joke all the time - and that there’s an entire episode where julien tries to apologise for making a joke of it. That the teasing and jokes about his sensitivity become nice, and appreciative. I like how he acts all cool-headed and chill but then is absolutely prone to panicking dnkskskskksksisk but he’s still brave even when he’s literally paralysed with fear! Maurice is so fun, and he’s got a lot of love to give and it’s so fun to watch him learn how to share it.
* least favorite thing about them
I get that it’s just a plot joke for a kids show with very limited continuity but like… I kind of get tired of him not believing in kj. like it gets to a point where theres tonnes of good ideas that kj has, or like…. they just need a little moderation (which is his job!!!!) like does he have to keep acting kj is a moron who's never had a good idea in his life.
* favorite line
Hmmm this one is hard. I like all the references to spring break and the woman i forgot her name, and also when he’s being sarcastic but probably when he’s about to drop down the pit in exiled and tells kj he cares & believes in him and that he’s so proud of who kj’s become (I forget the exact words but that’s the vibe) like……. Ahhhhhhhhh
also the bromance song <3 that’s fun
* brOTP
I mean???? pretty much everyone within obv his found family (royal quartet <3), and his sister, but also like Xixi and hector and stuff. Maybe also pancho & Andy like sjsksokskdjdid he has to deal with royal shit and they’re both getting caught all the time so he’s like “sigh, guys, more paperwork” and they become friends. Plus Maurice & the rats …… come on!!! King Joey and Maurice friendship for us all
also I like skipper & Maurice bffs, Marlene & Maurice. OH BEST FRIEND TRIO <3
plus Maurice & the zoosters is such a fun dynamic!! he gets to talk with them on another level. Plus!!! Maurice and the chimps, we deserved more of that (I forget if he talks to them much in tpom?)
* OTP
I don’t rlly ship him with anyone
* nOTP
i wouldn’t say this is a notp completely, bc i understand the continuity is all over the place and i guess why ppl would like it, but i don’t rlly like jumo that much bc to me he’s literally kj’s mother figure. like they l i t e r a l l y have him take kj’s mum’s place when kj is realising he just needs his found family & not his birth parent’s approval. there’s SO MUCH symbolism and referring to maurice (& clover) as julien’s family, so much emphasis on being family it’s like…. makes me 😬 also i think there’s an unbalanced power dynamic which makes me 😬 too.
* random headcanon
I think Maurice should have an acid jazz band that plays Friday nights at the rat kingdom or something. Oh!!!! Wait…… his sister’s bar right??????????? Where he was Bricky sjdjosnsujdidowkakise I forgot. Anyway I think he should go have fun and keep the Bricky persona and have some aye-aye friends and idk a crocodile who play jazz together.
* unpopular opinion
are there Maurice unpopular opinions??? Hm maybe I don’t think tpom Maurice hates tpom kj & in fact he goes out of his way to do nice things for him. He’s often much meaner in words, but he still cares for kj!!!
I think the baby patch cannon is fun and I love what that brings to the table for maurice’s character, but in my heart he will always be like 10–15 yrs kj’s senior

Here's something personal now...
Today is a special day for me what I want to celebrate. Because one year ago, this day was the day when I started to watch TPoM, and two episodes later, I totally fell in love with the franchise (and Julien). And this changed my life for the better.
My obsession helped me to finally come out from my apathy what I felt for years. AHKJ Julien was a really good role model for me: I respect him so much for how many bad things happened to him, and he still never gave up, never lost hope. He made me more positive in my personal life. Beside this, I got new hobbies, thanks to my love for the franchise: I (kinda) learned how to draw and edit videos.
I love Madagascar since 2020 April, but I only joined publicly in the fandom in the middle of December, during the Madagascar Party, here, on Tumblr. People welcomed me warmly, and I got good feedbacks on my drawings and stuffs. This helped a lot with my self-esteem: before this, I never thought somebody would be interested in my works (I'm still surprised). But the most important thing what happened to me thanks to the fandom, that I got friends. Here, on Tumblr, and also on the Central Park Zoo Discord server where I joined. I was alone before the fandom, and I only realized now that something missed from my life for years, and this was friendship. But I'm not alone anymore, thanks to the fandom... THANKS TO YOU, GUYS. Your appreciation, kind words and supporting mean so much to me, and I can't thank you that enough.
I LOVE YOU ALL, MY PEEPS. THIS FANDOM IS TRULY A ONE BIG FAMILY...

Kinda sucks how the timeline of Julien is in the Madagascar franchise. Like, first is AHKJ, the most recent, highest quality, packed full of character development because of its focus on KJ. Then original Madagascar (idk how the other movies fit in) where he's kinda just there as a local and a comic relief narcissistic party guy which is still pretty good and enjoyable. Then there's TPOM (the show) where he's literally just an asshole. At least as far as I've watched. And of course he has flashes of morality like any frenemy-style antagonist but like... he rules through fear and is an annoyance and has his narcissism and selfishness cranked to 100. Not that he's a bad character or I dont love him in all three but watching them in order looks like HUGE backward progression when chronologically based on production he improves. It's just funny.

My Madagascar “Timeline”
Until “Madagascar 4″ and “Madagascar: A Little Wild” comes out, this is my take on the events that take place. I included every Madagascar movie, the holiday shorts, All Hail King Julien, TPOM Movie and TPOM series.
I tried my best to keep it as canon as possible, but tbh there’s no way to do that when there are so many time skips in the movies where the characters grew up.
This is a VERY long post btw
Baby Penguins save Private and are on the iceberg, ready to take on the world. On their way, they get captured and taken to Central Park Zoo, unintentionally sending Dave on his way to becoming a villain.
Baby Alex gets captured by poachers from Africa, but his crate falls off the truck and into the ocean. He eventually gets rescued and taken to the zoo.
Everyone grows up. Everything that happens during this time frame is pure speculation and headcanons/theories. Manfredi and Johnson are transferred to the Penguins' habitat. They quickly become friends with the Penguins. Manfredi and Johnson are older than them, but by just a few years.
Manfredi and Johnson heavily influence the younger Penguins' by supporting their "commando" ways and introducing the famous Buck Rotgut (who trained them). Skipper INSISTS on being the leader until Johnson finally convinces him that since they (M&J) were the ones who knew more about it, they should be in charge. But just until Skipper learns everything from them, because after all, he doesn't want to make a mistake and accidentally cause harm to his brothers, right?
During their training, Manfredi and Johnson tell the boys tales of their past adventures. Most of these are exaggerated to make them seem cool and to entertain the young boys. Some aren't even real events, just told as a bedtime story or as a warning. (These stories are mostly where Skipper gets his paranoia from. See the explanations below) Also during this time, they have some of their own adventures together.
At some point, when they're all slightly older (perhaps in their "teens"?), Private gets separated from the rest. I'm presuming that he gets transferred to Texas (or somewhere in the South) where he learns he's amazing at minigolf and takes on the persona as "Mr. Tux." However, after the ice cream incident, Private hangs up his putter. How he gets back to NYC, he could have been transferred back (either by his doing or the humans' doing), he could have ran away and back to NYC, or his brothers finally rescued him.
---"AHKJ" events begin to happen around here and continue until the movie "Madagascar" is mentioned----
Eventually, after much begging and not so subtle hinting from Skipper, Manfredi and Johnson allow him to go on a mission by himself. (When Manfredi expresses concern, Skipper says, "Trust me, Manfredi, what could go wrong?" a line Skipper said in "The Return Of The Revenge of Dr, Blowhole) They send him to Denmark where he is to partner up with Hans the puffin to conduct some research on the Danes. They thought having a partner would be safer for Skipper, but Hans turned on him and made him Denmark's public enemy #1.
Now banned from Denmark, Skipper comes back to discover that Rico has gone crazy without him. (so crazy that Rico even bit and ate a chunk of Manfredi's leg) Manfredi and Johnson, afraid that Rico will act like that again, decide to limit Skipper's solo missions. (This is something Skipper continues to keep doing, even after being named the leader.)
After having to endure Rico's insane rampage, Manfredi and Johnson decide to have a vacation. They leave Skipper in charge and head off to a spa. Once their vacation time was up, they didn't want to go back yet, so they decided to say they were dead. They sent word to the Penguins, informing them of their "death", but Johnson made sure to add that their demise was not terrible and in fact very relaxing so the Penguins wouldn't be so upset. (Which somehow worked, because the Penguins don't seem to get too sad when talking about them)
Without Manfredi and Johnson, Skipper became the new leader. He made Kowalski his second in command, and Rico the demolitions expert. Private was still training since he had missed so much during his "Mr. Tux" time, and as such not given a role. They begin to plan their escape to Antarctica.
Around here is when "The Madagascar Penguins in a Christmas Caper" takes place.
It's in November when Alex, Gloria, Marty, and Melman (who will be referred to as the "Hippies" from now on) are shipped out and thanks to the Penguins, wind up on Madagascar.
At the end of "AHKH", the final episode has the lemurs are celebrating Cover and Sage's wedding, Alex washes up on shore. This is where "Madagascar" events start.
Meanwhile, back in NYC. Manfredi and Johnson hear about the zoo animals escaping and being shipped to Africa, only to have the boat go off radar and unable to be contacted. Manfredi and Johnson assume this was the work of the Penguins and decide to investigate. They discover the Penguins' plans to dig to Antarctica and head there. Of course, they don't find them and wind up being captured and sent BACK to NYC, but this time, they're sent to Seaville instead of the zoo.
Now stuck on Madagascar, the Penguins try to rebuild the plane (with Timo's help), Kowalski meets Doris the dolphin. He falls in love with her and confesses, but she's not interested. Eventually, his constant confessions of love and numerous gifts begin to annoy her and she decides to leave. A depressed and distraught Kowalski gets a tattoo of her from Pancho.
Not long after that, "Merry Madagascar" takes place.
Not sure how long it took, but the plane is finally fixed (sort of) and "Madagascar 2" happens. BUT at some point before Skipper and Lola's wedding, (which means BEFORE the ending of "Madagascar 2), "Madly Madagascar" happens.
After Skipper's wedding, "Madagascar 3" happens.
Sometime after "Madagascar 3", the circus stops in Guatemala where Rico meets a girl. He falls head over heels for her, and tries to show her how much he likes her. But she doesn't understand his gibberish and is freaked out by him.
And after "Madagascar 3" is "The Penguins of Madagascar Movie".
After TPOM Movie, everything seems fine. That is, until Dr. Blowhole shows up. The Penguins once again leave the circus and defeat Blowhole. Realizing that the dolphin is never going to give up trying to defeat the Penguins and make the human race suffer, Skipper and his team decide to stay at the zoo to keep an eye on things. Julien decides to stay as well, because he and Sonya broke up and things between them did not end well. Maurice and Mort go with him.
The PoM series is last. The Hippies are still doing their circus acts, just without the Penguins and lemurs. The Penguins are keeping Central Park Zoo safe and getting annoyed by Julien sometimes.

Second Survey Results Info
Alright so it was still very split on the schedule so I decided to be the tie breaker myself. I think the single event will be best since it allows the themes to be applied to any aspect of the franchise rather than splitting into TPoM and AHKJ. Plus this way we don't have to have another survey to determine which themes go to which week. Hope everyone is okay with that.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
The movies will be included and we will just have collective days instead of individual character days. But you are welcome to treat Lemur Day as King Julien Day and so on if you so choose. All the themes are open to interpretation and are just there for inspiration so don’t feel confined by them.
The top 8 from the theme list will be included (i.e. Villains, Friendship, Family, Love, Missions, Backstory, Minor Characters, and Memories)
I will post the tentative schedule right after this.

Ranking the Madagascar ☆comics☆ (because why not)
Before I get into it, I'll lay down my criteria for what exactly counts as a comic in this ranking. For one, it has to actually be available (so I'll unfortunately be excluding two of the TPOM comics since they are not available to read anywhere). For two, I'll be doing it in terms of the physical copies I own - that means for the ones I have singular issues of I'll count each issue as it's own comic, but for the ones I have graphic novels of I'll count the entire graphic novel as one comic. Maybe I'll rank every story individually eventually, but that'll be for another time. I also want to preface this by saying that despite any negatives I may point out in the ranking, I do still love all of the comics, and they all have something exceptional to them that makes them worth reading. Anyway -
15. DreamWorks Classics Presents Madagascar #2 - Game On: This one...isn't great. The stories aren't very interesting, and feel pretty pointless overall. The first story involves Melman thinking he's sick while on Madagascar, and the other two involve the zoosters getting involved in hijinks back at the zoo. There are a few standout moments (including one of my favorite quotes ever from Julien), but overall the stories just aren't that engaging.
14. The Penguins of Madagascar #3 - Operation Wonder From Down Under! Part 3: This story is also isn't too interesting. There are some funny moments with the penguins encountering some jerboas who want to rule the world, but other than that the story just feels like it's trying to take up space and fill in the gap between issues #2 and #4.
13. Penguins of Madagascar: The Great Drain Robbery: This comic has a few stories all set after Penguins of Madagascar, and showcase the penguins travelling between hideouts and missions. It has a lot of potential, and that's the problem - that potential is never taken advantage of. There were so many cool stories set up, and with a few more lines of dialogue explaining some things the stories could've been taken to another level. Instead, the stories feel confusing and all over the place, jumping from one point to the next with no rhyme or reason. There are of course some fun stories and jokes, but overall it is just such a shame that the full potential of this comic wasn't realized.
12. The Penguins of Madagascar #4 - Operation Wonder From Down Under! Part 4: I'd say at this point in the ranking is when the comics go from "alright" to "pretty good". The penguins finish a story arc here and finally reach Australia. There are some great jokes with the penguins not understanding human technology, and there are some fun interactions amongst the penguins themselves (especially regarding a few panels that have Kowalski and Rico interacting). When the lemurs and penguins finally meet up again, there are some parts that feel exactly like an episode of The Penguins of Madagascar.
11. The Penguins of Madagascar #1 - Operation Wonder From Down Under! Part 1: This comic is pretty good. It feels exactly like the setup to one of the specials in TPOM, and it feels like an exciting return to form. The penguins are being skeptical and doing their paranoid-military thing, Julien and Maurice have their usual back-and-forth thing going on, and the cliffhanger at the end puts the reader on the edge of their seat, excited for what's to come. The only downside is the art style - it's alright for most of it, nothing special, but some of the time (especially in regards to Maurice's character design) it is truly awful.
10. Madagascar #1: The art style in this comic is actually fantastic. There are some great character moments, and the banter between Alex and Nana is on point. It's a fun little romp through the New York City streets, and it's always nice to see Nana interacting with Alex again. Since this comic presumably takes place some time before The Madagascar Penguins in a Christmas Caper, Nana is much more mellow in regards to her attitude towards the animals; however, she still very much acts like her usual self at times.
9. Madagascar #4: This one is great! The penguins get a great introduction, and it feels like there's a nice blend in personality between how they act in the first film and how they act in the other movies and show. The way the zoosters and penguins go about achieving their goals is actually quite reminiscent of Merry Madagascar, in a way, but without feeling like a useless rehash. There's some nice character development, fun jokes, and a surprise cameo appearance from the lemurs!
8. The Penguins of Madagascar #2 - Operation Wonder From Down Under! Part 2: This is my favorite issue of the Wonder From Down Under story arc. There are some great backgrounds and character designs utilized in the jungle setting, and it really makes the most out of the series' art style. The jungle animals are fun, the story is progressed in an intriguing way, and Kowalski and Skipper have some great back-and-forth conversation. Also, the backup story featuring Private's birthday is really touching.
7. Madagascar 3: Long Live The King!: This comic has two fun stories that serve as a prelude to Madagascar 3. We see the penguins and chimps get up to some shenanigans in Monte Carlo prior to the zooster's arrival, and there's a hilarious (though admittedly somewhat predictable) twist at the end. The backup story with the circus is great, too, and there are some really emotional moments between Vitaly and Gia.
6. The Penguins of Madagascar: Operation Weakest Link & Other Stories: These stories are fantastic, and feel like they were ripped straight from an actual episode of The Penguins of Madagascar. The first story has some unique pairings of characters, showcasing some character interactions that we never really got a chance to see in the show itself. The second story has some fun moments with the penguins finding out more about the lives of humans, with the penguins coming closer together by the end.
5. Penguins of Madagascar: The Elite-est of the Elite: Right about here at the top 5 is where the comics go from "pretty good" to "you should absolutely check these out because of how great they are". This comic has a fantastic multi-part story involving the penguins and the North Wind teaming up yet again. There are twists, turns, and awesome action set-pieces. Everything is cohesive with one thing directly leading to the next, and feels like if The Great Drain Robbery had managed to reach its full potential. It's overall a lot of fun, and there are some really neat short stories at the end that expand on the North Wind as well as give us some cute moments between the penguins when they were babies!
4. Madagascar #2: I had always imagined the zoosters having more escape attempts besides the hot air balloon in Merry Madagascar, and this comic delivered on exactly that. There are some hilarious panels and pages with all the animals working together to get the zoosters off the island, and each attempt is better than the last. It's nice to get to see more of how the zoosters felt in their time on Madagascar, and the lemurs are the standout as usual.
3. DreamWorks Classics Presents Madagascar #1 - Hide & Seek: As I briefly mentioned with the last comic, I always find it so interesting to see the zoosters' lives on Madagascar in between the first and second films. This comic, then, fully delivers on that. We get to see so many great moments with the zoosters transitioning from life in New York to life on Madagascar, and the penguins are fantastic in their brief appearance here. Also, in the third story Maurice is definitely the stand out and is the best character.
2. DreamWorks Classics Presents Madagascar #3 - Let Them Eat Cake: The first story has some great interactions between King Julien, Maurice, and Mort, and Julien's personality feels like the perfect blend between his movie personality, his All Hail King Julien personality, and his TPOM personality. The second story is a bit of fun, though not anything too spectacular. The third story, however, is what really makes this comic one of my favorites. The premise involves Julien placing a property tax upon the beach the zoosters reside on, the zoosters subsequently retaliate. This has got to be one of my favorite stories of any of the comics, and as a whole helps elevate this comic to something fabulous.
Madagascar #3: This comic is simply stupendous, phenomenal, fantabulous, and any other similarly descriptive words. The plot involves Julien finally making his way back to Madagascar after abandoning it all those years ago in the second film, but finding out that another lemur has taken his place as king in the meantime. Our main lemur trio is just the best, and the royal competitions Julien has to take part in make for a great setup for some hilarious jokes. The rival king is just as stuck-up as Julien, yet seemingly even more self-centered and ignorant. The ending is one of the best parts, and makes for this comic to be a wonderful addition to the franchise as whole. While it's a shame that there weren't any real references to AHKJ or TPOM, it's understandable since this isn't the type of franchise to be completely interconnected.
And those are my thoughts. While there were a few missteps here and there, taken as a whole I am so glad the comics are a thing that exists for the franchise.

Notice...
It might have come to your attention that over the past few weeks I have been inactive on my blog, with not much new content, nor any reblogs or whatsoever that keeps my blog updated.
Ever since TPoM Week ended on the 1st of December recently, I haven’t posted anything other than the initial announcement post for the All Hail King Julien: Legacy album, two promotional videos for that album, and the release of the album itself as well as its bonus track. I also reblogged two arts made for the 4th anniversary of All Hail King Julien, and for the first time since I began doing it I did not make any sort of original content specifically for the anniversary of All Hail King Julien, other than the All Hail King Julien: Legacy album.
This is not because my interest in Madagascar has reduced throughout the years, nor isn’t it because I am no longer interested in making new content, but it is because I had been busy over the past 8 months and due to a lot of real-life problems, I had been taking myself away from Tumblr to focus more on the important things.
During the month of May, I lost my job as the result of the recent election results, and later in the month of June my father passed away thus cutting off all of our stable source of income, and so I had been focusing my time more on real-life problems rather than the internet. And with my exam waiting for me in a few years or so, I’m going to focus on my studies for some time. Don’t get me wrong, I still love Madagascar, I still love the fandom, and I am still proud and honoured to be a part of this entire family.
I’ve sailed in this fandom since 2014, and I’ve played a big role throughout the years, especially in the All Hail King Julien fandom where I’ve spent most of these 4 years on, and even back when I was busy with my work and all that I always spend some of my time to do something related to this fandom.
But after 4 years of being on this fandom, mostly on Tumblr, and doing all the things I have done for the fandom, today I will have to take my leave from this site.
I will not deactivate the Tumblr, nor will I leave permanently, but I will be going on a hiatus which may or may not end, to further continue my studies in order to secure a better future for my life. I have decided this for a few months, and I have discussed with some of my friends on this fandom, and it is my decision that I shall be leaving Tumblr and hopefully return one day once I am capable of doing so. I will be taking a big exam either next year or the year after that, and so I will be needing to focus my time on studying hard in order to secure a good result.
I will still be in this fandom, and I still love the fandom, and I will still be the administrator and bureaucrat of the Madagascar Wiki, but I will not be active on the other sites.
There is however, one condition that will make me return somewhat, and that is if DreamWorks announces a new instalment for Madagascar, which if they do means that I shall return to work on the promotion and preparation of it.
But with all of that said, it is time that I take my leave from this site to focus on other important things in life. I wish you all a farewell and I hope that we shall meet again some time in the future.

Mort v.s. Sin Kiske
Read an ABSURD amount more about Mort below.
Sin Kiske - Guilty Gear Series
Sin, also despite appearances, is a five year old. Sin was raised by a bounty hunter who once told him "go wave a flag or something" which is why he fights with a flag. He's proud of beginning learning multiplication, but oblivious to things like what arithmetic is or how babies are made. Befriended an aspiring world destroyer by giving her a burger and a puppy. Read more about Sin below.
Full description of Sin:
“sin is currently 5 years old but due to some funky science called gear cells in his body he got from his mom, he looks like hes physically in his 20s. He wasn't raised by his parents and was raised by this bounty hunter, sol badguy, that his dad knew who turns out to have secretly been his grandpa the whole time. Due to being raised by sol, his knowledge is kinda not very good. he takes pride in the fact that hes starting to learn his multiplication tables but doesnt know what arythmetic is or where babies come from. he had his one eye removed when he was a child because he had this really wild power and that apparently removing his eye tamped his power down. he fights with a flagpole because sol told him to 'go wave a flag or something' once. He made friends with an artificially created human whose main goal was to destroy the world, and he did this by giving her a puppy and a burger.”

When have you started shipping your ships?
Ohhhhh man get ready lets seeeeeee
SkiJu: when I first saw tPoM I wasn’t completely into it yet so I never noticed really anything about these two (weird I know) In fact the only ship I ever recognized was Skilene. It never got to me tho, I just like the two as friends. I’ve always loved Madagascar and would watch the movies as they came and when I saw the penguins were getting a movie in 2014 I really wanted to see it! So I did and I got the urge to watch tPoM again. When did I couldn’t believe how many moments Skipper and Julien had and I sat there thinking “how did I miss all of this oh my gosh” and really liked the idea of them as a couple as they’re adorable and had so many gay moments together I couldn’t resist. But I didn’t have anyone to share this with so I kinda dropped out of it again, but THEN I rewatched the PoM movie at the end of 2016 and got the urge to rewatch tPoM againnnnnn and it renewed my love for it and I dragged my girlfriend @yokai-watch-is-why into it cuz she also had an old love for the show and finally I had someone to share my skijuness with as I got her to ship it too and my love for these penguins and lemurs hehe. (I got her into AHKJ too!!) And here I am today shipping the heck out of them still they are my otp, and still loving these guys.
Kico: it pretty much falls under the same reasons as SkiJu by watching tPoM again! Seeing how these two bonded in the show was really adorable and they always acted so close together I really liked them together and wanted to ship them. They’re my second fave ship in the Madagascar franchise.
CloMo: DANCE DANCE REVOLUTION HONESTLY! Every since I saw the Big Papi and Mama seats taken by Clover and Maurice it lit a spark in me to ship these two. And then I recognized more and more how these two bond and it’s sooooo good I just couldn’t hold back anymore. I used to lowkey ship these two but the more I saw and imagined with these two, the harder I shipped these two so it’s no longer a lowkey ship for me anymore!!!
Panched: EXILED BASICALLY! And the part where they held each other in it, that’s what got me attention. I thought of them as a couple and how they’re traveling together in Exiled I just “oh yes this would be adorable, I’m shipping it.”
MartyAlex: I USE TO LOWKEY SHIP THESE TWO CUZ THEIR RELATIONSHIP IN THE MOVIES IS REALLY CUTE AND CLOSE but then @merrymadagascar came in with his love for these two and seeing more of them and their good points this is also another ship I no longer lowkey ship. They are adorable together.
And THUS are pretty much my favorite ships in this franchise. I like a lot more ships but these are the most important ones to me ♥️
