The ride continued for a while. There was nothing or anyone in sight. You could see the freeway ahead but like all other ways leading into Cambridge was destroyed.

"We're closing in on Bunker Hill. They said they are taking refuge by the monument." one of them said.

And wouldn't you know it? In the distance, you could see the tall granite obelisk peaking out. It kind of looked like the one down in D.C. but this one is still standing.

What you meant by "This one is still standing" is because the capital was hit by a nuclear warhead, along with other cities across the US.

The President and other government officials were evacuated and the countries important documents were evacuated as well. So, the legacy of the US would still live.

That means the President is still alive and is in some remote area devoid of zombie life.

"I see some people! They appear to be walking around." one of the soldiers said. And the people seem to notice us because they were waving at us.

"Stop the car," Chris said, the car stopped. He and others got out. Two of the survivors looked familiar? Like you have seen them before. They both were tall and had beards.

They walked up to y'all. "Please, are you here to rescue us?" one of them pleaded. "Yes, we're here to take you to our temporary base," Chris said.

They all smiled and some hugged each other. Chris ordered the soldiers to help some things and you approached the two survivors. "Why do you two look familiar?"

BTW, I don't know how I've never paid attention to this song, it's so so beautiful and honest. There was glitter all over the floor and the couch - someone had brought some of those party poppers, which looked so much fun yesterday, but no so much now. "Pack your stuff, we're deserting this goddam hellhole" he said and she knew he was joking, he said that about everywhere, but she still shook her head and rolled her eyes, picking a polaroid photo from the ground.

When she finished tying the last trash bag and putting it on the entry hallway she flopped on the couch besides Daniel, who had called it a day some good 10 minutes ago.

"Done?" he asked her.

Daniel got his phone out to order some food. It was almost noon, so he thought about something like pasta, some carbs would be nice right now. "You know what? Just for that, you're going downstairs to pick up the food when it gets here, and taking out the trash!" (y/n) teased him, tossing a pillow from the couch at him.

Daniel just observed while his friend and his girlfriend joked and laughed. He thought about how right now he was enjoying a feeling of contempt that wasn't really natural or much appreciated by professional athletes, but this time felt right to indulge in it. He felt safe like someone's got him, finally. He took (y/n) hand on his and squeezed it three times, he knew this was already a good thing, something to last. Three volumes of No Game No Life were pulled from shelves in Australia over nudity and incest; Seven Seas have more recently apologised for heavy censorship of Classroom of the Elite (over bullying), and Jobless Reincarnation (over gratuitous rape). They would have done better not to publish them at all.

Political correctness gone mad is not the great threat to society; misogyny and disgusting attacks on women are a blight on it. Reading and enjoying such things isn't cool or edgy, it's just wrong.

But shouldn't I be worried that manga and anime I personally enjoy will be tarred with the same brush? I'm not worried in the least, because Goblin Slayer is egregiously worse than Wolf's Rain or Now and Then, Here and There, as any unblinded eye can perceive, and SAO would be no great loss. Books like Lolita have survived decades of censorship; Goblin Slayer is a trashy, disgusting novel and a trashy seasonal anime, that deserves to be accordingly forgotten as viewers of any sensibility enjoy Non Non Biyori's well deserved 3rd season.
