of course I've said it before, but I have been celebrating the ides of March since long before I ever joined Tumblr (and at least as long as Tumblr has even been thing, if not longer)

and the reason that I really appreciate the ides of March is because of the longevity and interconnectivity of human history, how something can happen so long ago but we know so much about it and it can still have such a role in our pop culture to this day and that's something that makes me very emotional

so it doesn't really actually have anything to do with Caesar getting murdered

but I also appreciate the memes, they're usually very funny
