Mitsuki Izumi White Special Day! Rabbit Chat - Part 3: Thoughts on the campaign

Tsumugi: Mitsuki-san, thank you for your hard work! Today is the official preparation for the entire campaign, thank you for helping out! Are you free right now?

Tsumugi: I’d like to talk to you about the songs you’ll be performing during the joint performance with Re:Vale and TRIGGER on White Day…! Sorry to disturb you while you’re exhausted!

Mitsuki: It’s alright! I’m already back at the dorms and resting in my room!

The original text reads “千层雪糕”, which translates to “Thousand layered ice cream”; otherwise known as Mille-feuille.

Mille-feuille is a layered pastry, and its name means “(a) thousand sheets”.

Yuki’s name (千) means both snow and a thousand.

With that knowledge in mind:

The first word, “千”, means a thousand, which is also Yuki’s name.

The third word, “雪”, means snow, which is what Mitsu and Tsumugi were discussing, and is also Yuki’s name.

So in conclusion: The pun plays on the double meaning of Yuki’s name (“a thousand” and “snow”) and ties it in with Mille-feuille, known as a “thousand (Yuki) layered ice (Yuki & snow) cream”.

Banri's Birthday Rabbit TV 2023 - Episode 1 - "Banri's Wedding?!"

Please take my translations with a grain of salt as there may be mistakes. If you see any, please let me know and I can correct them. Riku: Manager! President…!

Tsumugi: Ah, everyone! Thank you for coming! I’m sorry to have called you all so suddenly….

Riku: Is it really true that Banri-san is getting married?!

Tsumugi: Huuh?!

Tamaki: I didn’t hear anything about this from Ban-chan!!

Sogo: Me neither…!

Nagi: Is this why you’ve called us here today?

Iori: If this is true, we could’ve made preparations to celebrate…!

Mitsuki: Exactly, there’s no need to be a stranger! I would have made a cake or two!

Yuki: Could all our shoots be moved to Karuizawa?

Momo: Ahaha! Even if the camera was rolling, we could take a nap under the trees with the sun filtering through.

Rintaro: Then, we can make it a job to have Yuki compose a song for my wedding and have the music video shot in Karuizawa.
