Last song: POP/STARS. Yeah, I'm back on it again. I basically cycle K/DA songs as favorites and sprinkle in some Linkin Park and video game bgm to mix things up. I've liked the same kinds of songs since I was a youngling playing DDR and badly singing along to BeForU.

Favorite color: If I can only choose one, black. If I can choose an accent color, red. The "1337 gamer" aesthetic unfortunately has me under a sniper scope at all times, as I unironically love that edgy tech look. My style is "goth programmer" and I do not take criticism.

Last movie/TV show: Star Trek Enterprise. We're on the fourth and final season, as the show wasn't renewed for a 5th season. At least the creators knew it was coming, so the ending shouldn't be super jarring, but I've heard it's not at all what they originally wanted for it. Sad, I really like their long form storytelling. We also watched half of a sci-fi from 1993 called Cyborg^2: Glass Shadow last night. If you're wondering whether we've watched the first one. The answer is no, and we specifically skipped any flashback sequences - it's not really the kind of movie that you need to have your brain wrinkling for.

Sweet/Savory/Spicy: Sweet all the way, I'm basically a colony of sugar ants in the shape of a human. I'm terrible with spicy foods - I don't taste anything, my lips just hurt!

Relationship status: Happily married, we'll be celebrating 5 years married/11 years together next month :)

Last thing I googled: an error message that I hoped would be explained by stack overflow, only for google to find six links that were for completely different set ups/use cases, three sponsored ads for yet another hot new framework that's supposed to make my life easier but actually just installs tracking cookies everywhere while "helpfully" obscuring verbose debugging information, and a single link that was only semi-helpful in tracking down the problem. I believe that Pecharunt wants one thing: Revenge. Essentially, it’s constantly in pain, agony and suffering. However, no one knows about it, one day in the crater, when most of the trees and terapogas’s died, everyone pinned the blame on Pecharunt and exiled it from the crater. Fueled by hatred, it vows to return and destroy the crater and the world. Starting by absorbing

the last Terapogas, but he doesn’t know the location so it seeks after the masks that Eustace made. After waiting for who knows how long, the events of the DLCs happen. The only difference is that the doll at Peachy’s is not there but the shop owner is (Pecharunt placed her under its control). Before Stellar form Terapogas is defeated, Pecharunt comes out and absorbs it. There is a reason why but Pecharunt is not only absorbing Terapogas, but other

legendaries as well. See, I remember BirdKeeperToby making a video about the tree of life and how the last legendaries may relate to it. But for simplicity’s sake, Pecharunt formulated a plan and also wants to absorb Eternamax Eternatus, Ultra Necrozma, Zygarde Complete form, The Tao trio and Mega Rayquaza. VERY SPECIFICALLY in those forms. It’ll have enough power to then take down the creation trio in another timeline. Then it would travel to another

timeline to absorb Arceus before it hatched and become god in that timeline (he did absorb Hoopa Unbound in another timeline) However, it was eventually stopped by the protagonists and the legendaries would be freed. But it was a hollow victory in the end, as before Pecharunt unfused, it was able to use the last of its energy to blast Kieran to another timeline where Pokémon are nothing more than machines, and the Pokemon that were freed did not make a full

recovery as the legendaries were still poisoned even after 8 months. And Kieran is nowhere to be found. Pecharunt would then be deemed too dangerous to capture and train so high tech prison was made specifically just to house it. Making it the first pokemon to be imprisoned. But that’s my idea! Sorry if I rambled on for too long (a bit of my autistic side is here). If you’re confused about Pecharunt absorbing, I think that can happen as Pecharunt may have the

ability to absorb souls, since the third signboard in Kitakami talked about ‘your soul will be forfeit to the ogre’ or something, but I think it’s referring to Pecharunt. Also, I think that Pecharunt would probably rename itself later into something like ‘Dokuwāro’ or something. But again, thanks for listening!

Okay, so while this stuff may fit on my alt, I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS IDEA! Dokutaro/Pecharunt being blamed for something wouldn't be off the mark, as it always has seemed kinda mischievous to me. I also kinda am inspired to maybe thing that Dokutaro is the reason like Ogerpon is blamed for a lot of other things than just the situation with the Loyal Three. Dokutaro could be not just upset because it didn't get it's way but for other happenings such as say Eustace not making it a glittery mask to give it power or something else, so Eustace is now cursed by Dokutaro. I was thinking of the idea that maybe Eustace is stuck in the blackish void of it's inside-shell, if that even makes sense, and that being how Dokutaro stores souls.

I know this is a little ooc from what you said but you're giving me ideas to spitball here. Also its name being Pecharunt...it must have been small and weak and frail at one point...what if it took mock-pity on Kieran later on and fed Kieran his power or so? I'm sorry if my answer seems a little broken I have a weird attention-span and can only remember certain things^^ I love this idea tho and I wonder if I could incorporate it into like, the itty bitty bits n' pieces of Project Venus, esp since it somewhat lines up in canon!

The Disappearance of Yuki Nagato, Episode 1.

I like how, back in Disappearance of Haruhi Suzumiya, I said they should just stop the movie halfway through and end it on everyone settling into the new reality and accepting this world as it is. But the movie disagreed with me.

But then they cancelled the show and when they brought it back they decided that they want to make a show in the new reality instead of going back to the original canon.

So I feel kinda vindicated by that.

I am so confused by the status quo of Yuki World. Specifically Kyon. But also specifically the continued existence of Yuki World post-Disappearance.

Melancholy was always pretty up-front with the fact that it does not operate on Multiverse Theory. There exists only one timeline, with time travelers moving back and forth between points on the single line - and, in fact, the presence of people from the future in the past is already baked into the present.

Kyon had to travel back in time to meet Kid Haruhi on Tanabata and give her the idea to go to North High because that's how the history goes. Kyon was always there on Tanabata giving Haruhi the idea to go to North High.

So I am already baffled about what this world is. Kyon is part of the Literature Club and has dinners with Yuki and Ryoko, which implies that he remembers the events of the movie. We don't know much about Alt Kyon but we do know that he and Yuki never spoke two words to one another.

So it could be, like, a What If scenario if Kyon chose to stay and not end Yuki's new reality. But this can't be Original Kyon because he's on good terms with Ryoko. Our Kyon was quite understandably freaked out by the girl who tried to stab him with a knife.

Are we in "Out-of-continuity Loosely Based On" territory? Because they're making references to the movie in the first two minutes so it feels like a direct spinoff. Even though it's metaphysically impossible to be a direct spinoff, because this reality doesn't exist anymore.

(Also Haruhi made her intentions pretty clear that she wanted to form an SOS Brigade on this side of the temporal fence so the fact that Yuki World still has a Literature Club is another mark against a direct spinoff.)

Also, I like how Yuki Show begins where Disappearance was. This world was created in the days leading up to Christmas, so it figures that a Christmas Party would be the first thing we're doing. The chronology is consistent.

Which. Again. Makes it so baffling. Are we spinning canonically out of Disappearance or doing our own thing? Make up your mind!

That being said,

New Yuki is such an neurodivergent disaster girl. XD

Yuki: I want to be able to experience a full range of emotions and feelings. Monkey's Paw: I mean you're like 15 which is a pretty overwhelming time hormonally but sure. Here you go. Unlocking full range of emotions to process for the very first time ever in your life.

I wonder how much Ryoko knows? Her appearance at the end of Disappearance implied that she retains at least enough understanding of the situation to kill Kyon with a knife without even questioning why he was trying to shoot Yuki full of science gun.

I don't think she's still a Space Robot because if she had Space Robot powers that fight would have been much different. But she fully understood the situation when she showed up with knife in hand. And I think we can be pretty sure that she did that on her own; Yuki did not intend for her to kill Kyon.

But also, it's not clear how much of Disappearance actually applies to the reality of Yuki Show since Yuki doesn't remember meeting Haruhi and Haruhi hasn't formed this world's version of SOS Brigade.

One way or the other, at least she's still secretly vicious. I love her. Ryoko is making a compelling argument for Best Character and we're only six minutes in.

And then they put a knife in her hand hahahahaha.

Spinoff or alt continuity, they at least know exactly what they're doing with Ryoko.

I like how Ryoko is filling our Crazy Asshole quota but she's a very different flavor of Crazy Asshole from Haruhi. Haruhi was a gleeful crime person while Ryoko (who I think I recall being Class President?) is Lawful Menace. She'll stab you, sure, but she's not about to permit a hot pot on school premises. That would be inappropriate.

And she ships it.

Yeah. Okay. Ryoko is definitely Best Character. She isn't my character, of course; My character's Haruhi. But she is quickly making a name for herself as this show's MVP.

She ships it so hard that she's prepared flirtation cue cards. Everyone should have a bestie like Ryoko Asakura. She reels in the crushes and knifes anyone who looks at her bestie the wrong way.

I guess it was too much to hope that Mikuru and Tsuruya still hated Kyon's guts in this reality.

How does he even know these two? They're upperclassmen. He only ever met them in our timeline because Haruhi violently abducted Mikuru.

I would like to have a moment of silence for Mikuru.

Because Tsuruya just got her stabbed. She is so stabbed.

The "Yuki vs. Mikuru" fight is definitely going to end with Yuki, Kyon, and Mikuru going out for lunch while Ryoko and Tsuruya resort to street brawling each other.

I love how she brings just enough Haruhi-esque attitude to the show while still being so distinctly separate from Haruhi in personality and behavior.

I was reading your fics on AO3 and became curious about your particular robin/grima are the same entity take. I guess it's because you seem to use 'Robin' as 'the one unconnected to the dragon' and 'Grima' as 'the one who is connected'. The part I'm wondering about is: 'Grima' tends to reject the 'Robin' part of their existence minus the 'adores Chrom' part. Unless your Grima/Robin is like Groom!Robin and never was close enough to anyone else but Chrom. Already prone to brooding and loneliness.

Well, to be perfectly honest, the main reason Grima might not seem to be connected to any part of Robin's life but Chrom is most likely because I'm writing shipfic and just don't feel like putting effort into fleshing out the parts of Robin's life that don't affect their relationship with Chrom.

At the same time, you're also right with the Groom!Robin comparison. Can you imagine my surprise when FEH gave us an alt that is basically EXACTLY how I write bad timeline Robin? We know that in Awakening's main timeline, the bonds between the Shepherds are said to be stronger than they were in Lucina's timeline. At the same time, we can tell that Chrom and Robin still had a strong bond, as it was known in the future that Chrom was killed by his closest friend. Thus, I do sort of treat their bond as like... this single connection that was keeping Robin grounded and stable. I also think that there's an additional trauma in the fact that Robin was made to kill Chrom *in front of their friends* who would not have known they were being mind controlled (because Plegia already had the Fire Emblem, so Validar wouldn't have had to play his hand and force Robin to hand it over. Chrom's murder was very likely the first time he ever took control of Robin). So yeah, Robin not being as close with the rest of the Shepherds (such that they don't immediately jump to the conclusion that Robin MUST have been forced) definitely plays into how I write Grima, who then has motive to brush them off as being like all the other worms who just want Grima to be evil.

A credits of life piece. Time spent in the early 1980s. Nocturne feels like that too, but more romantic. Smidge less nighttime. Ah yes, Gymnopédies. The truest credits feel of them all. None of these actually are credits for Maurice and Alec, but I struggle to find the word for this feeling. But yeah. These all have Them vibes to me. Piano of the time just does I suppose. Glad to be reminded of them at any time.

Social Media Rambling

I don't use any of the big social medias anymore; I used to be an avid Twitter/Facebook user, but I had to quit them a few years ago for mental health reasons in addition to a sense of moral obligation. They were so horrid for my self-esteem, and I was constantly stressed out by them; and I couldn't ignore how shittily they were being run, either.

I used to be a big Tumblr user, too, back in the day, for my art. I stopped posting regularly about four years ago. It also wasn't great for my mental health at the time, but I met some wonderful people here. ^^

I only returned to Tumblr last year for Sims reasons, and I'm glad I did; this community is so chill and sweet, and I'm having so much fun sharing my game and CC with you all. You're all the best. <3

Where I spend the vast majority of my time, though, is Mastodon. I joined it in 2017 looking for a Twitter alternative, and I fell in love. (It improves on so many of the areas where Twitter fails! It gives you descriptive content warnings, per-post privacy features, algorithms don't exist to mess up your chronological timelines or track you, and the decentralized system of instances means you can very effectively moderate your own distinct communities, and block other instances who don't; we were even able to discourage and drive out a huge group of alt-right and transphobic assholes who tried to make their home there through the collective action and hard work of instance admins. ^^ It's not perfect, but it's a million times better than Twitter for even those small reasons! There are many others besides.)

I was the admin of Mastodon.ART for a while, the largest primarily English-speaking art-focused Mastodon instance. The community there is awesome. :D Now I have my own small instance, ComicsCamp.Club, where I hang out with a lovely group of people. It's a cozy, quiet spot on the web, and just how I like my social media to be. ^^

There used to be a Sims-focused Mastodon instance called @simstodon, but it's been gone for a while now (I think it got overrun by NSFW/Pornographic Sims players, and the community kind of tanked from there :\). It just makes me think how nice it might be to get a community of sims folks on Mastodon again. I don't have the time or energy to admin yet another instance, but I wish someone else would! It would be a lot of fun to share my Sims stuff with a larger community of like-minded folks on Mastodon. :D

i want to say that tempests!terra would be confused but not surprised that ruse seems to dislike him for whatever reason. mostly he's just trying to make sure ven doesn't make more unversed than is advisable from ven's dislike of ruse's dislike of terra alone. (on a different note, imagining how the tempests characters would interact with tell me characters is very fun. i wonder how alt!xehanort meeting guide of departure would go, since they are very technically kind of the same person, made drastically different by life circumstances?)

Thankfully, the scrappy Unversed doesn't try to go for my kneecaps. Probably more for Terra's pleading sake (after our fight) than for me. Which is fine. I can watch the blood pumping through their veins, through his kind of translucent skin, as they tilt their head in thought.

Hm, wonder if Unversed humanoids are the same where I come from? Reminds me of the weird deep sea beasts in the ocean.

Safe? Hmm. I rub one finger along my cheek. Tracing the scars. "And never...trapped? I mean, he's around a lot. All the time. Isn't that too much?"

Ven's face screws up in confusion. Why would he do that? He's my dad.

Dad. I do not flinch at that, because whoa, that's a really strong word to use. Weren't Ven and Terra just bros in my timeline? Wonder what changed here.

(Moron. I know what changed. Look at how pale Ven is, how cold his skin is to touch. Even with a Keyblade...weak. Sick.)

My chest aches.

Something about those eyes, looking at me. Older than the rest of him. Insightful. I don't like those eyes.

Don't you have someone that makes you safe?

"Safe?" I laugh. "I'm fine, I can take care of myself. I don't need someone else to do it for me."

Sure.

I shift backwards. Grit my teeth as my leg almost goes out from underneath me. Ven notices. Of course he does.

You're hurt. Do you want help?

I snort. "Nah. It'll be healed up soon. Us Replicas have to bounce back, you know?" I pat at my facial scars for emphasis.

How ugly they are, how terrible. Look, we may be monsters, the two of us, but I'm worse.

(Someone tried to put me down but I still got up. I walked away.)

Still like how he's looking at me. And whoa, there's Terra looking at me in the background. I fight the urge to stick my tongue out (don't want another fight yet) and simply...walk away.

I don't need to be around these people who think they can fix this.

A theory I have about Ruthie

Sup guys it's me again lmao

So like today I decided to share a theory I have towards Ruthie

So first of all, this is Ruthie. She appears in the last page of the influencers part 3, and if you're wondering why I consider her important is due to the stuff we'd learn in the commentary of that same update

I'm not sure if we can show this stuff now that hs2 has gone under a terapause, but oh well. So in that commentary we find out that Ruthie happens to have an entire reference sheet just like the other influencers had, but not only that we also see this little drawing

A nice doodle of Ruthie hanging out with the influencers (Also Silas being left behind for a curious reason) which is very funny, and then finally, at the very end of the commentary it is written something:

"There she is!! Miss Ruthie. I'm excited for you all to meet her!"

(Sadly this didn't age well)

Anyway, this clearly hints something towards how important she is, which is why I think she might be the 4th member of the influencers (and that she was a surprise reveal kinda like how Yiffy was)

Now, about my actual theory

So first of all I will expose some facts and hints I've seen that concerns (or seem to concern) Ruthie

First one being her last name, in the upd8 and the commentary her last name was never mentionned, but she has one

How do I know? Simply because I found it out thanks to the one who designed Ruthie themself

I'm talking about vintage-foods, he is the one that designed all of the influencers (which I am very thankful for) and so, they also drew these kids sometimes and you know how on tumblr you can tag stuff, well I noticed that on one of these arts she was called "Ruthie Gold"

And so when asking confirmation as to if it was her last name, he confirmed that it was!

Which raises a lot of questions too, why is her last name not 6 letters? Why as a rustblood she has the name of another bloodcaste? (That is part of my theory but wait a bit)

Second one is what she *can* do, as you know, pretty much all the type of trolls can sometimes have a special ability related to their bloodcolor (telekinesis for rusts, psionics for golds etc)

So then what about Ruthie? Well she seems to be a very special case

Someday out of nowhere, I read a tweet from someone (who works in the hs2 team) that looked very interesting

I have hidden their @ simply because the tweet was deleted shortly after

It is very interesting because they talk about a burgundy blood in the bonus upd8s, and Ruthie is the only one to fit that description!

But what's even more weird is what they said after, pyrokinetics? What's that? So long story short (and according to google) it's the ability of manipulate fire

Which is quite a surprise! A rustblood that doesn't have telekinesis but can control fire? It never happened before. And I think this is why the tweet was deleted, due to being "leaked information"

So many questions for a troll that talked in only one page

Now, let's finally go into my theory

Think about it, her last name is Gold, she is a rustblood that might have the power to manipulate fire, can you see where I'm going?

Here is something I took from the candy epilogue when Vrissy was found by Rose and Kanaya, it says how the genetics of the beta trolls were used for the mother grub.

So what if, Ruthie Gold is the mix of Aradia and Sollux?

The facts I brought up earlier could be good arguments, and think about how Vriska wasn't originally in the candy timeline until she is sucked into the black and then meets Vrissy. Aradia and Sollux too weren't there much, only hanging out when the dead Jade/Alt Calliope appeared until Aradia left with her and Davebot, leaving Sollux in the candy timeline.

Now I'm not saying I'm right, but I think there is a weird coincidence going on, and that the answer will not be brought to us until a long time (or until someone from the team dms me to take this post down lmao that's okay I'd understand)
