i love how when i’m asked basic questions about myself i completely forget who i am, this took some time 💀 also clover anon ily!

(putting a read more for those who don’t want to scroll)

likes!

- I’m obsessed with jewelry. When i say obsessed i mean obsesseddd. Both my arms are always dressed with lots of beaded bracelets. There are 12 on each arm currently. And i got them from a market here in West Africa! some from last time I visited and others from this current visit as I bought a bunch more recently. they’re all natural stone beads. I never take them off, i sleep in them, shower in them they’re basically my second skin. i have three waist beads on my waist. I wear a pearl anklet on each leg and I usually have one certain necklace i keep on for months at a time before I switch it out with another. If i’m going to play volleyball or something, i’ll remove my bracelets so I won’t break them. But I put them back on right after bc i feel naked 💀

- I love piercings! I’m very expressive through jewelry on my body. I believe I have 13 last I counted. Four on one ear, three on the other. My first lobes are gold guages, but I like to mix silver and gold jewelry. My belly button, two nostrils, a septum, my ashley (middle of the lip), my smiley, and I used to have my tongue pierced but i swallowed it LMFAOO

- i’m such a foodie i don’t think i’ve had a food i don’t like and i’m not picky at all i love trying new things. but spaghetti takes the cake for my fav (simple i know) i also really like sushi!

- i love rain, don’t like getting wet though lol

- favorite colors are pale green or forest green, soft purples, and burnt oranges!

- i love animals. my favorites are my two kitties, but i also have a dog and a bearded dragon who i also love

- I LOVEEE lemonade. Literally cannot last more than two days without lemonade in my house. That and water is all I drink lol, i’m not a big soda person.

- I love to write, have been doing it since I was in middle school. As cringy as it sounds it is like an escape lol. Just give me wifi (for dictionary and thesaurus) and my notes app and you won’t hear from me for a while.

dislikes!

- i hate ignorant people like anyone should. that includes any of the “phobes” and “ists” (that are bad). transphobes, homophobes, racists, fascists, ableists. you name it i hate it lol

- loud noises. i do not do well with loud noises at allll. makes me very anxious and for some reason angry?? this also applies directly for heat. even right now, i’m in my grandma’s room because it’s quiet and cool lol

- men ❤️. although i have been cursed with being attracted to them. so maybe i should say men who AREN’T fictional

interests

- to start with the obvious one, i have been obsessed with avatar since 2009! yes me, as a 6 year old, sitting there with my eyes covered by my parents’ hands when that scene of jake and neytiri came on screen. (we have the extended movie on blu-ray). that did not stop me from looking up exactly what happened on youtube and going down the rabbit hole that still has not ended. 😭 I’ve watched the first hundreds of times with my dad, so when we found out the 2nd was coming out we actually almost shit ourselves

- often confused with avatar, one of my favorite series is avatar the last airbender. after long debate with my sisters we have decided i would be an earthbender like toph (queen!!! also the name of one of my cats <3)

- i’m very spiritual. i like to meditate, sage and incense my room multiple times a week. I’m very cautious about who i allow around me because i do believe energy is easily transferred. I’m a great judge of character and can often tell if a person is good spirited or not.

- i’m a very opinionated person. anytime something is up for debate best BELIEVE i will be there to shout my opinion from the high tops. some people hate that about me, some love it, but hey i am who i am!

- was a monster high fanatic until like 14 i can’t even lie to y’all but anybody who liked monster high is a bad bitch now sooo

- late last year i picked up crocheting, really fun once you get the hang of things! i was over the moon when i made my first tote bag you couldn’t tell me anything 😭

The early army days were SO bad oml not only those horrible sweatshirts but also the memes… UGH think I just gagged 💀 anytime someone mentions “y0u g°t n• j@ms” or pink Princess Jin or whatever tf it makes me want to revert into my goo goo ga ga era 😭😐

I wouldn’t donate my sweatshirt tho cause even though I no longer stan them, I don’t want someone to see that I’ve ever had that sweatshirt in my possession LIKE ID RATHER DIE

But ohHhhHh starting a longer series like breaking bad is a good idea to pass time! I hear abt breaking bad all the time but I’m not really into the dr*gs or those kinds of crime genres but let us know if you like it and then maybe I’ll give it a try!

I prefer watching anime so if you want any longer anime recs then I’d fs recommend Gintama! (No pressure tho cause it do be a 200+ episode series 💀)

I hope you have a great start of your week tmrw! You still have 2 weeks and a half of quarantine iirc but after this you’ll be able to see your coworkers and hopefully fulfill that overtime request before classes start up again 🤧 or did they start already for you? :0 if not then yay but if so then I wish you all the best with your studies 😭💖

yes i felt like i needed to fill my boredom with something and i was trying to watch some kdramas but like... i couldnt find any that seemed interesting enough to devote hours of my life to LOL i am very much a historical romance kdrama enjoyer (i accredit this to again. early kpop stan days. when i watched moon lovers as it aired for baekhyun. and TO THIS DAY it is my favorite drama and i sincerely believe it to be the best one ive ever seen) and anyways it feels like a good historical drama hasnt come out in forever </3

ive never been much of an anime watcher (besides death note. bc death note is like. one of the best stories ever told in human history. and i stand by that) BUT i looked at the plot summary and gintama does sound interesting so maybe i will check it out!!

hehe thank you but yes i still have 2 weeks of quarantine ... but alas my classes start basically right after i finish quarantine so i wont be going back to work :') but ill definitely stop in to visit before i move to campus bc id be sad leaving without saying goodbye !

I am a firm believer that if Dorian Pavus was not raised as an Altus, he would stab more people. Not a startling amount or even a lot, but just a few. Dorian can have a little vengeance as a treat. He's still a necromancer btw.

Oh 100% he deserves Vengeance and as a lil treat for how facets of Tevinter society have wronged him personally and the magisters, slavers and the like make his homeland look shitty in general. I wonder if he was a Laetan though if he would be more well-adjusted, just because the familial pressure on him, while still existing, would likely not be as great should the family have less political pull in Tevinter high and political society. I think he still would have clashed with Halward (who is the worst lbr) but if the family didn’t have a seat in either the Publicanum or the Magisterium and he was just a common lamplighter like Myrion in Tevinter Nights, or a necromancy and time magic™️ researcher in the Minrathous Circle that Halward wouldn’t have gone so far as blood magic. I have a lot of meta thoughts and what if’s and can infodump and debate this all day.

Also Altus’ do assassinate one another or have sent assassins to do so (I mean it’s not a good Tevinter party unless at least three people die) so you never know in the next game if he’s gonna do some stabby stab. The Lucerni Party is going to have a lot of enemies so 👀

2020 was wild, I made Nolypats, had a grand time, deactivated, and here I am back at it again. YAY REQUESTS! Could you write a spence x reader where the reader is a badass, and introduces spencer to her friends which makes him really nervous about their relationship since he’s such an adorable lil geek? THANK YOU ILY -Anon

Pairing: Reid x Reader

A/N: I kept most of the requests from the old blog and will be doing them here. I have been working on this one for a while and since school is over, now i have some time to myself to write. I hope you guys like this, and share it with your friends :)

Spence. Babe, I’m on my way are you ready.

Spencer looked down at the message on his phone, the little words staring at him. Today is the day where he meets your friend. You two have been dating for a few months now and you finally guilt tripped your best friends to fly to Quantico for a visit and meet the guy that you have been seeing.

Saying that Spencer was nervous was an understatement, he was terrified. At first glance no one would think that you two were dating, with the way he looked and acted or his nerdy tendencies. But then there was you, seeing the out spoken women who had tattoos and piercing, and has her hair a different color every few months. No one could understand why you were with him appearance wise but you were more than just your tattoos and piercing. You were invigorating. You never went to college but you knew as much as a college graduate. You own your own bar in downtown, where his friends frequently go to relax after a long case.

That’s where you two met. You were working as a bartender when the team came in after a long case. He was naturally drawn to you, making eye contact with you every chance he got. You even waved at him a few times, until a drunken man tried to harass you. Spencer went to rescue you, but you punched the guy in the face, spitting out profanities as you kicked him out. You didn’t need rescuing, you can take care of yourself. And that intrigued him even more. After that night, he would frequently go to see you, wanting to take a glimpse of your beautiful features. Never having the courage to talk to you, knowing that your tough demeaner never compared with his calm nature. But one night, you had enough and went up to talk to him, asking him out to dinner. He agreed, his nerves taking over. But he would have never knew how much you two had in common. Not only that, but behind your badass exterior, you were a sweet and caring women, that he grew to love.

His phone began to ring as your name popped up on the screen. He quickly answered it.

“Hello”

“Spencer, I’m down stairs. Are you ready?”

“Yeah, I’m on my way down.” Hanging up the phone, he grabbed his messenger bag, checking to see if he has everything that he needed. Satisfied, he locked his apartment door, walking out the building.

You were leaning against the passenger door of your car, wearing black jeans, a fitted black t-shirt, and black booties. Your tattooed sleeves visibly showing, the black ink disappearing into your shirt sleeves. Your e/c orbs locked onto Spencer’s, a bright smile spreading on your face. You kicked yourself off your car, running up to him, engulfing him into a hug. You pulled away, pressing your lips to his in a breathtaking kiss.

He pulled away from you, stroking your hair back.

“You changed the color again.”

“Yeah. I thought that gray would look really good. You like it?”

“I love it.” Feeling the heat rise to your face, you cast your eyes away looking at his lips. Your eyebrows knitted together as you took hold of Spencer’s face, holding his chin up so you can get a good look at his face, noticing the dark purple bruise forming on his cheek.

“Spence, babe, what happened to your face?”

“Oh, the unsub punched me in the face when the team and I pursued him.”

“He hit you too hard. Do I need to join the team to make sure that no one lays a finger on you?”

“Sweetheart, I’m fine. This is nothing considering the major injuries that I have received on the job.”

“I know but I still worry about you.”

“And I do you.”

You let out a chuckle, running your fingers through your hair.

“Well you don’t need to worry about me. No one is going to mess with me and these guns.” You began to flex your muscles resulting in Spencer laughing, bringing a set of giggles from you. Spencer took a glance behind you, noticing your car parked in front of them. “You’re not riding the motorcycle today.”

“Yeah, Rebecca wanted to use it for today. She’ll meet us at the restaurant. I can’t wait for you to meet my friends.” You both got into the car, you turn it over and made your way towards the restaurant that you are meeting your friends. You and Spencer chatted about the week that he has been gone. Him talking about the events of his case, knowing that you love to hear how the team cracked down and found a dangerous killer. And you talking about the new things happening at your bar, and giving detailed description of how you kicked a whole group of men out of your bar for harassing a small group of women. He loved when you would stand up for others, not worrying about your wellbeing, becoming a savior to whoever needs it.

You arrived at the restaurant, you gave the valet your car keys so they can park it. Taking Spencer hand in yours, you give him a big toothy smile before descending into the restaurant. Spencer felt nervous, he heard the stories about your friends and what you used to do back in high school and college. And to say he was nervous was an understatement. He was downright terrified, not because of who they are but of how they might see him. He knows that he is the nerdy type and that you are way out of his league. He can’t help but think that they might see it too, and tell you that he’s not worth your love. Feeling you grip his hand, he came out of his daze, taking in your worried look.

“You okay Sweetie?”

“Yeah. I’m fine. Just...really nervous.”

“Don’t be. Trust me when I say they will love you.” You caressed his cheek, pecking his lips softly. “Are you ready?”

“As I’ll ever be.”

You smile, leading him through the restaurant to the back where the private patio is located. Upon entering, sitting at the round table was three women, all engrossed in their own conversation to notice the two of you walking in.

“Hey guys.” You said, sitting down at the round table, Spencer sitting next to you. “This is Dr. Spencer Reid, my boyfriend and the love of my Life. Spencer this is Stephanie, Ale, and Taylor.” He shook each one of their hands, giving a tight lip smile. God, he just hopes that they like him, he doesn’t want to lose you anytime soon.

“Y/N why didn’t you tell me he was so cute.” Taylor said, taking a sip of her drink. “I swear if you weren’t dating, I would have got with him myself.”

Spencer’s cheeks burned red, as the women began to laugh at his reaction. He rubbed the back of his neck. This is going to be a long night.

As the dinner progressed, He found it easier to talk to your friends. They are easy to talk to and understanding of his genius tendencies of rambling off random facts. Spencer felt relieved. The girls fired question after question at him, trying to find out anything about him. Besides being nervous, he answered each question calmly and truthfully, without stuttering or missing a beat. From your appearance, he thought that your friends would look the same as you. Tattoos covering their bodies, crazy hairstyles and color that complement their mood, riding a motorcycle, getting into bar fight every week. But it all was a stereotype and an assumption. They seemed normal for the most part. He found out that Stephanie was a pediatrician, working at a hospital in Seattle, Washington. Ale, or Alejandra, owned her own line of restaurant, some varying off overseas, making he a multimillionaire at the age the age of twenty-eight. Taylor is a lawyer in New York, owning and overseeing multiple firms across the U.S. She is also planning on running for the Senate in the next election, hoping that other will look passed that she is an African American woman, and focus on her policies.

They then thought it would be funny to tell embarrassing stories about you in high school and college, not leaving out any details. As they laughed at your humility, you looked over their faces, the smiles that was etched on their faces, its everything that you wanted. Having your best friends and someone that you love dearly getting along like they known each other forever. It’s amazing and brings a tear to your eye.

“Y/N.” Ale called, waving her hand in front of your face, breaking you from your thoughts. “You okay.”

“Yeah, I’m fine.”

“Good. Can you look in my car and see if my photo album is in there. I want to show the doctor here how you looked like back in college.”

“Come on, guys. Do we have to show him that?”

“Yes.” They said in unison, sending you a devilish smile. You roll your eyes and get up anyways, leaving Spencer in the hands of your friends. As soon as they knew you were out of earshot, they turned their gaze back to Spencer, their smiles turning into grim frowns.

He was confused by the change of demeanor, not a few minutes ago they were sharing stories of their time together in college.

“So, Doctor. What’s your end game.” Stephanie asked, leaning back in her chair as she sipped her wine.

“Excuse me?”

“Cut the crap. What is your intentions with Y/N.” Taylor asked, scooting a bit closer to him.

“I-I-I just w-want to keep seeing her. If that’s okay with you.” Spencer can feel the tension in the room getting thicker. The way they are looking at him is the same way his unsubs would look. And all he can do is sink even deeper into his chair.

“Y/N is the foundation to all of our success. She was our backbone when we wanted to quiet.” Ale replied. “And we don’t need no insensitive, uncaring man to ruin someone so pure and innocent.”

“Innocent? Pure?” Stephanie and Taylor said in unison, giving Ale a confused look.

“You know what I mean.”

“Look Spencer.” Stephanie leaned forward, resting her arms on the table. Her eyes starred into his. “We see men come and go from her life. And every time it takes a toll on her. We are just very protective of her.”

“I’m very serious about her.” Spencer blurted out, his nerves getting the best of him. “I love her.”

“You better be.” Ale picked up the butter knife, twirling it around in her hand. “I’m good with knives.”

“I can hide a body really well.” Stephanie added, smiling at him.

“And I can get us out of trouble.” Taylor patted his shoulder, sending him a warm smile that doesn’t yet reach her eyes, sending a shiver down his spine. “And trust me when I say that not even your team will find you. So, keep her happy.”

Before he can speak another word, you strolled into the private dining area, holding a small picture album.

“It took me a minute but I found it under your seat.” You sat down in your chair, glancing over at Spencer. “Babe you okay?”

He took your hand, bringing it up to his lips, kissing your knuckles. “Yeah I’m Fine.”
