unfortunately i cannot help you 😔 i learned to draw before the internet was a normalized thing and as a child with no shame so i just was bad at it until i wasn't. i also don't use tutorials ever cuz im impatient LOL. but when i was trying to make my own procreate brushes i found this one yt channel called ergojosh who does all kinds of art tutorials and ppl seem to be eating him up!

summary: when ward cameron, a renowned business man and millionaire specifically requested your services through an escort agency, you assumed it would be just another job—brief and straightforward. however, your entire world shifted when ward disclosed his true intentions and rafe cameron stumbled into your life. there were rules, and rules were meant to be followed.
was money worth breaking someone’s heart?

Your phone buzzed in your nightstand, startling you out of your reverie.
With a sigh, you fished it out, glancing at the screen to see Ward's name flashing in bold letters. You’d just texted him an hour earlier but spared any details for your sake.
Taking a deep breath, you answered the call, plastering on your most professional tone.
"Hey, Ward. How's it going?"
There was a moment of silence on the other end, followed by Ward's booming voice, filled with impatience.
"Well? Did you find him? How's it going over there?"
You hesitated for a moment, unsure of how to tell him you royally fucked up. The truth was things hadn't exactly gone according to plan. Rafe had slipped through your fingers not once, but twice, leaving you feeling more defeated than ever.
But you couldn't let Ward know that. Not yet, at least.
"It's... going." you replied vaguely, trying to keep your tone upbeat.
There was a pause on the other end, and you could practically hear Ward's mind whirring with impatience.
"Make it faster," he snapped, his tone sharp and demanding. "He’ll be at the golf course tomorrow, 9 sharp.”
The golf course?!
You had never golfed a day in your life, let alone attempted to blend in with a bunch of rich snobs on the green. For fuck’s sake. This was going to be a disaster.
On the other hand, you were nothing if not resourceful. You didn’t know the first thing about golf, but you were a quick learner. And if there was one thing you were good at, it was improvising on the fly.
“Sofia works there. Get his attention off her.”
Easier said than done.
“Ward, your son looks at her like she hung the moon and the stars."
"I don't pay you to play matchmaker, sweetheart," he retorted sharply, his tone laced with irritation. "I pay you to get the job done. Now, I don't want any excuses tomorrow. Make sure you're at that golf course bright and early, and don't screw this up."
With that, he hung up the phone.
Fucking assshole.
You slammed your phone down on the nightstand, cursing under your breath.
Ward might have been your current employer, but that didn't mean you had to like him. Dealing with his crap was like dealing with a spoiled toddler throwing a tantrum. Except, you know, this toddler had a lot more money and power, which somehow made it even worse.
You were not some puppet he could just yank around whenever he felt like it, constantly ordering you around like some sort of lackey.
But you were not about to let Ward's ridiculous demands get the best of you. If he wanted you to be a professional golfer, you would give him just that.
The evening turned into a crash course on all things golf. Who knew there was so much to learn about golf etiquette? You spent hours glued to your laptop, absorbing every last detail you could find. And those YouTube tutorials? Let's just say you had never clicked on a video so fast in your life.
Then came the real fun—practicing your swing.
Spoiler alert: it was a hot mess. You must've looked like a total dweeb flailing around with that golf club in your hotel room.
And let's not forget about perfecting your fake smile. You must've spent a solid hour in front of the mirror, trying out different variations until you found the one that said, "I'm totally a golf pro, trust me."
By the time morning rolled around, you were as ready as you'd ever be.
You found yourself standing outside the gates of the local Country Club, taking deep breaths to calm your nerves. You glanced down at your outfit, a bunch of preppy pieces that you hoped screamed "I belong here" rather than "I have no idea what I'm doing."
And hey, bonus points for the fact that it made your ass and legs look great. Confidence boost, check.
With a mental pep talk and a final adjustment to your collar, you stepped through the gates, steeling yourself for what lay ahead. The crisp scent of freshly cut grass filled the air, mingling with the distant sound of clubs striking balls and polite laughter. You felt like a fish out of water in this sea of polo shirts and khaki shorts, but you refused to let it show.
Taking a deep breath, you approached the pro shop, hoping they had something available for a last-minute rental. Inside, it was bustling with old men browsing through rows of shiny clubs and chatting with the staff.
You stepped up to the counter, plastering on your best smile as you tried to appear confident.
“Hi there," you greeted the clerk, your voice coming out a little shakier than you would have liked. "I was wondering if you had any clubs available for rent?"
The clerk eyed you curiously, clearly noticing your lack of golf attire. "Sure thing," he replied with a friendly smile. "What kind of clubs are you looking for?"
You paused, realizing you had no idea what kind of clubs you needed. "Um, just something... basic?" you ventured, feeling completely out of your depth.
The clerk nodded understandingly and disappeared into the back room, returning a moment later with a set of clubs. "These should do the trick," he said, handing them over to you. "Just sign here, and you're all set."
You hastily scribbled your signature on the rental form, feeling a rush of relief as you finally held the clubs in your hands.
The course stretched out before you, lush green fairways bordered by trees and dotted with sand traps and water hazards. It all looked so pristine and posh, like something out of a magazine. You couldn't help but admire the luxury of it all, even though you felt like a total fish out of water.
Glancing around, you realized you were flying solo. No caddy to show you the ropes, no fellow players to offer tips or cheer you on. It was just you, your instincts, and the vast expanse of the course.
And let's not forget, your sheer power of delusion.
Taking a deep breath, you placed your ball on the tee and tried to remember everything you'd learned from those YouTube tutorials.
Grip firm, eye on the ball, swing smooth. Easy, right?
With trembling hands, you lifted the club and took a practice swing, hoping to shake off some of the jitters. Then, with a quick scan down the fairway, you drew back and swung.
The ball sailed through the air, arcing gracefully before landing with a satisfying thud on the fairway. It wasn't the most impressive shot in the world, but it was a start. You hadn't missed the ball entirely or accidentally hit someone in the head.
Small victories and all.
You grinned, feeling a rush of pride. Maybe this golf thing wasn't so bad after all.
You continued to take swings, each one feeling a little more confident than the last. It was all about finding that rhythm, hearing that satisfying "thwack" when the club met the ball, and watching it soar through the air.
You got lost in the game, forgetting all about the stress of the morning. The sun was climbing, spreading this warm, cozy light over the course, and all around you, there were these little moments of nature - birds chirping, clubs swishing, and the occasional "fore!" from nearby players.
It was kind of peaceful, in a way. All you cared about was nailing that next shot. Walking down the fairway, you couldn't help but grin to yourself. Sure, you weren’t exactly a golf prodigy, but who cared?
Just as you were lining up for another swing, a voice startled you from behind. "Hey new face, need a hand?"
“Fuck!” You blurted out, nearly dropping the club at the sound of his voice.
There he was, Rafe Cameron, looking all cool and collected in his golf gear like he'd just stepped out of a magazine. And of course, he caught you in the middle of your amateur hour on the course. You were hoping to find him during a break, probably around the bar, lurking around Sofia.
"Hey.” he said with a smirk, sauntering over to where you stood frozen in embarrassment. "Didn't mean to scare you.”
You tried to muster up a nonchalant response, but all that came out was a nervous chuckle. "Yeah. Just, you know, getting some practice in."
For the first time in my life, you’d like to add.
Rafe glanced down at the clubs in your hand, a glint in his eyes.
"Practice, huh? Well, you definitely look like you're giving it your all."
You wanted to die.
You forced a smile, hoping he couldn't see the panic swirling beneath the surface. "Yeah, well, gotta start somewhere, right?"
He chuckled, a sound that sent a shiver down your spine. "Mind if I join you?”
Your heart skipped a beat at the suggestion. This was not part of the plan, but you welcomed it anyway. You couldn't help but feel nervous at the thought of him witnessing your less-than-stellar golfing skills up close. But then again, you weren’t here to become a professional golfer, you were here to woo him off his feet and get paid.
Ward's words echoed in your mind—get his attention off her. And what better way to do that than by keeping him occupied with small talk on the golf course?
You shrugged, "The more, the merrier, right?"
"Exactly.” He said, falling into step beside you as you headed down the fairway. "So, how long have you been playing?"
You hesitated, not wanting to admit that this was your first time on a golf course. "Oh, you know, just getting into it recently," You replied vaguely, hoping he wouldn't press for details. "How about you?”
Rafe ran a hand through his tousled hair. "Been playing since I was a kid," he admitted. "It's kind of a family thing."
Of course, it is. Rich people. Nothing like a little golf for some family bonding time. But it gave you the opening you needed to make a personal connection. Nothing like sharing personal information to establish contact.
“That’s cute. My family thing was shoving pizzas down our throat every Friday.”
Rafe chuckled at your comment, the sound genuine. “Pizza Fridays sound pretty great, actually."
You smiled back, feeling a sense of relief wash over you. Maybe this wouldn't be as awkward as you'd feared. "Yeah, they were definitely the highlight of the week," you admitted. "But I have to say, golf seems a lot more... sophisticated."
Rafe raised an eyebrow. "Sophisticated, huh? You must be hanging out with the wrong crowd."
You felt yourself relax a little more with each passing moment.
"Maybe I just need the right teacher," you said, giving him a sideways glance.
Rafe's smile widened, and he stepped a little closer, "Well, lucky for you, I happen to know a thing or two about golf."
"Is that so?" you replied, trying to keep your tone light despite the sudden flutter in your stomach.
Rafe nodded, his expression turning more serious. "Yeah," he said, his voice barely above a whisper. "If you're interested, I'd be happy to show you."
You could feel every little detail, like how close you were and the intensity in his eyes, like they were trying to unravel some mystery hidden deep inside you.
No, no, no.
Pull yourself together! You mentally slapped yourself, shaking off the dreamy haze that seemed to cloud your brain whenever he looked at you. You had goals, a mission to nail, and getting all googly-eyed over some suave, wealthy guy was not on the agenda.
You flashed him this playful grin, trying to play it cool even though your heart was doing somersaults in your chest.
"Oh, I dunno," you teased, taking a little step back to collect yourself. "Golf lessons? Sounds like it could burn a hole in my wallet. Can't be going broke over a new hobby."
Rafe chuckled, his eyes lingering on you for a second before he backed off, “You think I’d charge you?”
The way he said it, so casually, it sent a thrill through you, but you knew better than to let yourself get carried away. This was part of the game, after all.
“You’re always this nice to strangers?”
His blonde, tousled hair fell just so, framing his angular jawline, while a subtle stubble added a rugged charm to his appearance. And his smile... ugh, it's like he knew how fine he was. Rafe had this smirk that was just... chef's kiss. And his eyes? Sparkling like he was up to no good but in the best way possible. You couldn’t stop staring.
“Only the pretty ones.” he replied smoothly, his tone dripping with flirtation.
You couldn't help but roll your eyes, trying to maintain your composure despite the butterflies dancing in your stomach. But damn, if he didn't have a way with words.
"Well, lucky me then," you quipped, hoping your voice sounded steadier than you felt. “But don't think you're getting off that easy. I’m not just some pretty face, you know.”
Rafe raised an eyebrow, gaze fixed on your hands as you moved them to fix your ponytail, “Is that so?"
Ah, you have no idea.
"Guess you'll just have to stick around to find out,” you replied with a cheeky wink, feeling a surge of confidence wash over you. “But fair warning, I'm not exactly a pro at this.”
Rafe chuckled, his eyes twinkling with amusement. “Don't worry,” he said, his voice softening. “I'll go easy on you.”
His confident demeanor was infectious, and you couldn't resist playing along.
“Who said I wanted easy?”
He tilted his head slightly, his hair shifted with the movement, “You think you can take me?”
With that, he gestured for you to take the next shot. You could feel his eyes on you as you lined up your shot, the weight of his gaze fueling your focus.
Taking a deep breath, you blocked out all distractions and focused on the ball. Grip firm, eyes locked on the target, you swung the club with all the force you could muster.
The ball sailed through the air, soaring gracefully before landing with a satisfying thud on the fairway. You couldn't help but grin as you watched it roll to a stop, a surge of pride coursing through your veins.
Rafe let out a low whistle, his expression somewhat impressed. "Not bad," he conceded. "Let's see if you can keep it up."
“Sounds like you’re scared…”
His eyebrows practically hit the sky when you threw down the gauntlet, his lips curling up. "Scared?" he shot back, his voice oozing with playful doubt, “Of you?”
Oh boy.
“Of losing.”
“Pretty girl, I don’t lose.”
Yeah, we’ll see about that.
“And you’d swing a lot harder if you arched your back just a little.”
"How so?” you retorted, your tone teasing.
Rafe stepped up behind you, his presence suddenly much closer than before. His large hands gently adjusted your posture, touch gentle yet firm.
"Like this," he murmured, his breath warm against your ear as he guided you through the motion.
The warmth of his palms seeped through the fabric of your shirt, sending a wave of tingles across your skin. His fingers rested lightly against your sides, the pressure just enough to provide guidance without feeling intrusive. You tried to focus on his instructions, on the proper form and technique, but it was so fucking hard with him standing so close.
Every subtle movement, every brush of his body against yours…goddamn. You bit your lip to stifle a gasp, unable to believe how good it felt to have him so close.
"Alright, let's work on that swing.”
There was a confidence in his tone, a subtle reassurance that made you want to combust on the spot. The way his voice rose and fell with each word…it was difficult to do anything with the sensation of his touch sending your senses into overdrive.
You tilted your head slightly and threw out the question, "Like this?"
Before he could even answer, you couldn't resist the urge to push the boundaries a bit. So, you arched your back ever so subtly, pressing yourself back into him. It was a total spur-of-the-moment move.
There was a beat of silence that felt like an eternity. And then, oh my god, you felt his hands tighten slightly on your waist.
“Just like that.”
But then he stepped back and you couldn't help but feel disappointment at the loss of his proximity. You gave yourself a mental shake and got back into the swing of things – pun totally intended.
Grabbing the club again, you were all set to take your next shot. With Rafe's tips fresh in your mind, you took a swing, putting everything you had into it. And would you believe it? The ball actually went where you wanted it to, landing way closer to the hole than you expected.
Rafe's reaction was priceless. His eyebrows shot up again, and there was this look in his eyes like, this time he was genuinely impressed.
Score one for you.
But you weren’t about to get cocky just yet. So, you gave him a smirk and threw down the gauntlet.
“Funnily enough, I never lose either.”

hellooo, if u dont mind could i request himeko, kafka and fu xuan reacting to their s/o being a highly talented dancer and seeing them dance to a really hard kpop choreo? thanks and have a wonderful day/night :D
Tumblr media
➴ ✫ * ✧ HSR WOMEN SEEING YOU DANCE TO A K-POP SONG ! (kafka, fu xuan, himeko)
a/n : i can smell how this post is gonna flop from miles away but i digress ☠️ anywaay i tried my best, hope u enjoyyy! + slightly ooc fu xuan ?
kafka :
might snap a few pics of you shamelessly while you’re dancing, a smug smirk on her lips as you hear the shuttering sound of her phone. (It’s def gonna be her wallpaper)
no matter how hard you try she won’t delete it😭😭she thinks you look pretty in the pictures she took, so why delete them?
or option B, she stands there watching you, seeing how long it takes for you to notice she’s there… whole jumpscare when you finally notice her (she likes doing it to see your cute startled reactions)
she’ll hum along to the lyrics of the song, maybe even lay her hands on your body as you danced. (it makes u immediately freeze up, a flustered expression on your face as she chuckles next to your ear)
she tells u things like, “with those skills, you could be an idol. im sure you’d be a very good one though, with your looks and all~” with a stupid smile on her lips
if you do decide to teach her one of the dances, she’d catch on very quickly.. she’s quite a quick learner ! except she purposefully messes up sometimes so u can adjust her posture etc (she just wants to feel ur touch on her skin ♡)
fu xuan :
is wowed by your impressive dance moves (but she doesn’t admit it “h-hmph, I’ve seen better.”) , she knew you were a good dancer but she had never rlly seen u dance before
she’s stuck in a trance watching you to the point she doesn’t even realize you’ve finished dancing and how you were currently staring at her. her cheeks flush as soon as she snaps back to reality as she turns her head away, crossing her arms. when you tease her about it, she’d only deny “i-i wasn’t staring at you!” even tho it’s insanely obvious she was
she probs has some toxic trait thinking she can also easily do that dance, getting all cocky w u and going “watch me do the dance better!” and proceeding to have to replay the vid a thousand times (except it’s no use, she’s still so confused <\3) she gets so embarrassed afterwards to the point u have to comfort her and let her know it’s okay ,,
she thought the dance u did was mesmerizing, and rlly wants to master it. so she reluctantly asks you for tips (with the tips of her ears flushed red hehe) in a way that makes u want to tease her about it
secretly tries to sneak up on u more to watch you dance more (you notice this but don’t point it out since yk how embarrassed she’d be)
himeko :
she heard loud music coming from your room, so she decided to check on you only to see u dancing to kpop songs lol
she’d make her presence known by clapping, her eyes slightly widened by how in awe she was of your skills !
might even start singing the songs (even if she’s unfamiliar w the lyrics) n dance along w u,,
or she’d most likely just sit somewhere and wait for u to finish before interrupting and stuff, her gaze fixed on you the entire time… she just thinks you look too good while dancing to take her eyes off of you! an approving look on her face as she stares you down intently, even though ur getting flustered by how much she’s staring </3
when u finish dancing to the songs, she’ll ask you for tutorials so she can dance along with you !! she’s also gonna give you tons of compliments, “you did so well” “you looked beautiful” “that’s so impressive” but as soon as you give her a tutorial she’s gonna be so confused haha ,, must be bcuz of her lack of experience when it comes to dancing..
she’s very supportive of whatever you do, if you decide to start a career w your dancing skills she’d cheer you on !

Hey creature I’m going into 10th grade any advice?
im gonna be real, ive been dropped out for a while, so i cant give much school specific advice but ill try to give some
khan academy is free and it is your friend, use it if youre having any trouble, witch i did when i was struggling alot with math, i still ended up failing but the tutorials were genuinely really helpful, and having a video, that i can pause and rewind and replay helped me alot
if you have any kind of neurodivergence, like adhd or autism you should get a 504, (you should ask your parents) this makes the school have to give you certain accomadations, like test and assignment extentions, lecture reccordings (sometimes) and tutoring (sometimes)
thats all i can give advice for highschool, but as for more general things
GET A DRIVERS LISCENSE GETONE GET ONE GET ONE
if you live in america (witch im gonna be real im just gonna assume you are, because thats where i am and im not super knowlageable on other countries) YOU NEEEEEED ONE LIKE REAL BAD. at 15 and 6 months you can start getting a learners permit, this is your first step
now, theres gonna be a state website with a manual on how to drive, i live in arizona, so for me the site is adot, but if you google your state and "driving manual" im sure itll come up theres gonna be a big manual, and youre gonna wanna read all of it, this will tell you all the basic stuff, you need to study this because youre gonna take a written test, you need to pass this in order to get a learners permit
a learners permit basically lets you drive, as long as theres some other person with a drivers lisence in the passengers seat to make sure you dont fuck up anything, after you complete this test, you need to complete a certain ammount of hours of driving (with someone else present) before youre able to apply for a full drivers liscense
at 16 you can start getting jobs witch you will like pretty much need a car to get, because public transport in america is so shitty its pretty much required unless you wanna wake up at like 4 am so you can get ready and take your bus route that takes 2 hours (when with a car it would be like, less then half the time)
i cant give advice on jobs yet, because ive been postponed a bit in getting my drivers liscense and to start applying for jobs because im waiting for my name change to process. but, i do have experience in doing commisions, (commision me btw) witch i could do a seperate post on giving advice because i feel alot more knowlageable on that topic, and i have a good way of getting commisions and i was getting a bunch even before i had any sort of following
my general advice is that being an adult is scary and alot to keep track of, and your life will be alot better if you start working on things now. instead of waiting untill youre already an adult. especially if your family sucks (like mine) and you wanna move out at 18
if i got anything wrong or you have any advice for anon (i tried my best but yaknow, only 16) please comment !!

hi hello !! your art is so stunning, the smoothness of it is so pretty :)
I just wanted to ask (if you don't mind); where exactly did you start learning how to draw, and how long did it take you to develop the style you have now?
i really want to try and get into art, but it's such an overwhelming field and im just not sure where to start
wishing you a lovely day :) and thank you for blessing this site with your work
Omg first of all thanks sososos much for the nice words and wishes <33 I'm happy you like my art this much 💚💚 TuT
Okay! so I don't really know where or how I started learning how to draw(?) I've been drawing since I was a kid but I only really decided to take it seriously around 2018/2019 I think..?
I'm still learning and I don't feel like I have an artstyle yet? I'm still trying to understand how I want my art to look like~ I tried so many styles!!! orz
I just recently accepted that I like "anime-like artstyle" (it's something I was very against in the past for some reason lol) so I just started following artists that have this style for inspiration, I've watched tutorials, I'm also obsessed with speedpaint vids so I watch it a lot too! I'm more of a visual learner so I like to watch people draw in real time to learn how they do stuff.. I also try to draw everyday (even if it's just a sketch), of course sometimes I can't draw at all so I just give up and try the next day xD
I'll be 25yo this year and I feel very behind in the art field tbh.. I know it doesn't make sense but I can't help but think I should have taken art seriously when I was younger so my art would be better by now~
So what I wanna say is just do it, don't overthink about it! just start drawing the characters you like or your ocs, whatever you feel like drawing! If you end up not liking it at least you tried!
I spent like an hour writing this and I cut off so much of it bc I kept oversharing lmao I'm horrible at writing stuff and specially in english bc my eng sucks o<< but I hope I answered your questions (even if I did it badly T^T)
anywayssss I hope you have a wonderful day and I wish you all the best in your art journey, you can definitely do it!! 💚💚

a while back i got a midi controller and it came with a free daw (mpc beats) and i’m currently following through a bunch of absolute beginner level tutorials (we’re talking borderline kindergarden here) and i can proudly say i managed to create some basic sequences of sound!!
i’d say i possess near to ok-ish musical ability (i can play some guitar and piano, but i’m basically tone deaf and i never properly learnt how to play), however im not tech savvy at all plus i’m a veerrry slow learner (also very impatient), so this has proven to be A HUGE CHALLENGE
it’s been a personal goal of mine to make music and eventually launch an EP of sorts; have a little compilation of sounds attached to a story of some kind (a comic maybe?) so yeah, we’ll see how this goes !

Hmm for tips.
Im kinda just rushing into things. I'm pretty good at drawing line art of faces and bodies but i really wanna nail shading, and then colouring. You cant rush art 😂 but when you're good at the first step of things you usually think you can do the next step perfectly which isn't the case. I'm a visual learner, so I watch good tutorials that are really helpful. I can draw freely, but it's easier when I have a reference image.
I found this artwork that i wanna redraw as the Sully Siblings but i struggle with abstract lines and just where to begin in general. Again rushing into things but i cant let a good idea go lol.
So just any tips for a beginner artist, like how you start off a sketch, do you use guidelines etc. I'd be grateful for any tips your talented self can give. I hope one day I can be an artist like you.
I feel you with the references, they make the whole thing a lot easier 👀 Most importantly is to take your time with it, like you said you can’t rush it. I will provide some tips in a little while, rn i’m a bit stuck with uni and it’s eating my timeee ughh🧍🏻 Also thank you❤️ you will definitely make a very good artist 👌🏻✨

help how did you figure out how to whistle
i just kept blowing in weird and different ways until i could figure it out. and read several tutorials and watched videos bc im a visual learner so i needed to see it done/have it explained step by step. what i do is put my tongue towards the roof of my mouth but without pressing on it. it can like barely touch it but thats all. and i try to point it or even curve it a little bit. then i blow. i figured out how to do it when i started college two years ago and it took me a bit but eventually i nailed it and with time i figured out how to change the pitch/tone (i still struggle with that though but i have problems with that when singing/speaking too. autism and such)

hi!! I'm a beginning gif maker, and I was just wondering if you have any tips on making/using PSDs? I just don't understand them very well, and I admire your gifs so I figured I'd reach out to you. ofc you don't have to respond if you don't feel like it! thank you for your time either way!
Tumblr media
hihi anon! first of all thank you so much for reaching out, i always love helping aspiring gif makers with any trouble they run into or concerns. when it comes to psd's its always gonna be down to your preference. what colors you like, what styles you like, what vibes the scene youre giffing gives off, or what vibe you want to bring new to the table etc. and it makes me feel warm and fuzzy inside being told someone admires my gifs so thank you so much for letting me know ପ(๑•ᴗ•๑)ଓ ♡

How to make your own PSD
This is gonna be a long long explanation so ill put it below ^^ <3
So before I even grab up all the frames to make a gif, if Im starting new fresh with a show I like to figure out what colors would make the scene pop or give it a new feeling. so ill start with just the 1st image, bare scene. so the image below has nothing done to it.
Tumblr media
with a scene like this you can choose to express any color on its palette, for example the green. you can make the green pale or super bright. so go to the layer section and click this
(also i recommend to use photoshop when making gifs, so this is kind of a photoshop tutorial/tips.)
Tumblr media
what comes up on the drop box is a bunch of editing filters and i highly suggest you take time to familiarize yourself with them each. it doesn't have to be all at once you could just say ok im gonna mess around with selective color and color lookup today! and little by little grow your understanding of what each "filter" gives you. however I do suggest selective color as it's super easy to understand and a good starting ground.
so ill start with selective color, here is how the window looks:
Tumblr media
as you can see ive already moved the notches but play with these! you can mess with a variety of colors (click on "colors: red" and more colors will pop up for you to change) you can make a scene cool, warm, pastel, dull, etc with this.
on this i decided to mess with my reds, yellows, and cyans. Here is the outcome of just using selective color!
Tumblr media
so you see how different it makes the scene? i didnt really enjoy the bright greens so I decided to give it more of a pale color and here was my outcome. so again it is always gonna depend on the new feeling you want to give a scene.
and you can always stack your filters, thats how in the end you make your own unique psd! what I also highly recommend is messing with these options:
Tumblr media
make sure youre selected on the filter you want to mess with. when you click on normal its also another huge drop box thatll REALLY change the end result of just that single selective color change. for example if i change this layer to "screen" itll look like this now:
Tumblr media
see how pastel its gotten? then if you mess with the opacity as well it would look something like this:
Tumblr media
the normal and opacity tabs im gonna highly suggest you also mess around with because it changes the composition so much and gives you a free range on that filter youve added to the mix! im gonna stick with my normal and 100% opacity with this psd and continue on to my next filter, one of my favorites "color lookup!"
color lookup comes with a variety of photoshop picked filters that are full edited themselves and REALLY change things up to the whole scene and even more so if you mess with the "normal + opacity" part. heres what the panel looks like:
Tumblr media
all of the sections have drop downs and color palettes you can choose from, with this piece i went with tealorangepluscontrast. heres what it looks like bare on top of my selective color:
Tumblr media
i didnt really like how it made some parts of the scene BUT i did like how the skin was colored so i decided to mess around in that "normal + opacity" section and decided to go with "pin light + 70% opacity and heres the outcome!:
Tumblr media Tumblr media
the difference is super subtle but if you look at it closely you can see that i've warmed up the scene! the skin color isnt so pale and even the highlights in her hair + eyes appear a bit green.
moving onto the next filter i put in this specific psd, i went with two different layers of "hue saturation"! this one is one of my new favorite filters to mess around with :3 heres what the panel looks like:
Tumblr media
so its similar to selective color in the sense of the drop down box when you click "master" (btw the option master is just all of the colors combined but its nice cause you have the option to just change the reds or yellows etc. saturation with this one.") so i decided to mess with the yellows! here is the outcome:
Tumblr media
wow you can really tell the difference in this. all the yellows are super pale/grey even. i know its down the "peachy" skin i originally wanted but not by much and the skin is still healthy looking! but i definitely wanted to change the sickly green outfit shes got so I decided to go with another hue saturation layer! and this time i made it to mess with the greens >:3 and here is the final outcome of my PSD mostly used for the show Blood-C:
Tumblr media Tumblr media
the scene is both palesh blue green with hints of warmth! that was the vibe/feeling I got from the show and wanted to go with. and i dont know if i mentioned this but the order in which the filter layers are placed also play a huge part in how the colors play with each other so play around with that too! because for example heres my final outlook layer order:
Tumblr media
but if I place the hue sat 2 under selective color 1 heres how it would look:
Tumblr media Tumblr media
everything is more on the grey scale which is also really nice but not what I wanted.
ive also decided to show you a couple different ones of my psds ontop of that image and youll see how much it just changes everything:
Tumblr media
with my panty and stocking psd (ugh i love this one and it doesnt look bad at all on this anime >.<):
Tumblr media
with one of my yellow ashy psds:
Tumblr media
with one of my bright color psd:
Tumblr media
oh and one last tip! always save your psds :p its really simple just save it on photoshop and by default it'll save as a psd file. and make a folder to keep all of them organized!
so all of that you can take an apply with using someone elses PSD. atleast I think you can, make sure to read the rules theyve applied to see if you can tweak it a bit or honestly just use it as a study. look at what theyve used, how they use it and make something thats of your own. i never recommend stealing and saying somethings your own, always add credit somehow somewhere!! oh and to use someones psd you basically just open the file and select the filter layers all together and drag them ontop of all your gif files!
this was super long and i am sorry but i wanted to make sure there wasn't anything that i missed with this. i really hope ive answered your question and gave some clarity to you so you better understand how to mess around with making your own psd!
in the end it really does come down to preference and your own style. making your own style is always gonna be recommend because if anything id want to be the content creator that when someone looks at a gif they KNOW that I made it just based off the colors, you know? thats just me though and its definitely a long road to get to that and establish yourself to that "level" so don't feel rushed at all. gif making should be fun and exciting so go crazy with whatever you decide!
and again, could never stress enough, please go crazy with more questions if you have any! helping is my favoriteeee <33 have a wonderful day <3333333

Your blender monster is so cool!!! Like BRO???? EPIC NO CAP ISTG 💯💯💯
Would you be willing to make a tutorial for it? I've always wanted to learn how to do this kind of stuff but I never seem to find a tutorial that works for me :(((
okay so first off thank you so much!! ive never had OC content take off like that lol its flattering.
as for advice [and a quick disclaimer that im entirely self-taught out of youtube tutorials and lots of googling lol]: learning blender starts off with some learning curves. i didnt start by making creatures like that!
i recommend starting low-poly. like VERY low poly. my first project to start learning was with a simple low-poly dog! I followed along this tutorial [x] [x] to get a hold of most basics.
[the tldr of that tutorial tho is find a side-profile 2d ref, "trace" it with a flat mesh, make the mesh wide so its 3d, and extend some legs out of it, etc]
so, when you want to make something, start small! start simple! just do one thing at a time and work your way up. Professionally, I dont think it's even normal for one person to handle modeling, texturing, rigging, and animating all at once. You've seen credits for games or movies where theres whole individual teams specifically for character modeling, another for animation, etc.
for more tutorials about specific things, i highly recommend Royal Skies on youtube for his crash course blender tutorials. he explains things quickly and to the point and is fun and entertaining to listen to LOL
a quick search on his channel can likely point you to something useful, like this.
if you still want some advice from a learner's perspective i can throw something together in either image or video form for a low-poly animal of sorts. let me know!
LONG post but hope it helps if just a little!
