Finally posting this guy, an Impldoll Martin on the Idol SGB boy body in tan skin. I finished his face up 2 weeks ago, but I didn’t finish his body blush until yesterday. He’s a big boy!

My April Story body arrived! Pretty much exactly according to their estimate. I didn't get a shipping notice and I ordered via email as I couldn't log into their site so I couldn't stalk my account but it just means I didn't spend days grumbling about how long it was taking to get here and I was actually quite cheerful about the customs charge XD

Kobayashi is a Little Rebel Svein and he looks pretty good on this body, but he's not keeping it. The head that's going on it hasn't arrived yet (please let it look at least this good!) but I wanted to wee how it looked with a head. Since it's for Zay's friend, Ward, it was important that it meet his approval. I think it does. That, or if he and Kobayashi ever meet in-story things are going to get complicated XD

The body needs sueding and maybe tightening - his legs do like to come loose from his hips. But the posing is certainly better than the female AS body which I've had to mod so she can sit. He has extra thigh joints which I'd love to see on the girl but since I did mod her they may have been more of a hindrance. The sculpt is pretty nice - lots of detail on the hands and feet - the hands are actually quite big - comparable to the 70cm Impldoll Idol hands I have on my Star body - but they seem proportional. The chest sculpting initially looked a bit... smudged almost but maybe that's just because his areola are less defined than they all too frequently are. At least I won't have to sand them! He has a huge Adam's apple that I'm not a huge fan of but I don't know that it bothers me enough to sand down. He has seam lines but they're not too bad. The resin feels quite plastic-y - it's like if Impldoll is butter, Resinsoul is Clover and AS is supermarkets' own brand I Can't Believe It's Not Butter but it's not awful. The knees and the elbows seem the same as the girl - slightly awkward, especially when clothed, but actually pretty good once you figure them out. He has really broad shoulders so it'll be interesting to try some other heads on him!

Warrior/Knight outfit in Medieval style, based on period prototypes and designed entirely by me. Reinforced genuine leather is used for the set, the buckles are handmade, the silver pieces are carefully chosen in style. The leather texture is exaggerated with silver paint to create more depth and metal-like look. The boots and clothes are also based on period styles and create a stylistically uniform set. Sets like this are extremely rare to find, as most armors for BJDs are plastic or fake leather. Fits Soom Idealian 72 (doll on the photo), due to a straps&buckles system the armor could fit Iplehouse EID Superhero, Impldoll Idol, DollShe 28M, 5th Motif Venitu and dolls with a measurements similar to Soom Idealian. The shirt and the pants are on a loose side so they should fit too. There is a plenty of room in the tips of the boots so I believe Iplehouse EID, DollShe 28M and 5th Motif Venitu will fit too (I filled the tips with cotton balls, please remove them and refill if needed). Why did you get banned on DOA recently? Was it because you linked your flickr account that had pics of old faceups you did on your recasts and other people’s?

Nope! It was because I was pretty sick last last week and someone asked for a hybrid picture of an idealian on a impldoll Idol body, and me, being all hazy in the head, posted a very, very old picture of a recast head on a legit body to help out. 

Picture was quickly deleted, I apologized, am I’m temporarily banned until April 2019. Completely my fault.

(I’ve deleted all recast face-ups I did from my flickr, when I became active on DoA :) )

Some shit

So I know @dollycoffee recently got shit for his doll modifications. I know @sicktress has also gotten shit for aaaages about her mods. @myrretah has gotten shit for her mods. I had a full blown arguement with my old roommate and a mutual friend about my mods. I've seen the hate for a few years about modifications too. My very first doll got modified (and is included on this list), the day I got him, in 2011, and I haven't stopped since. So here ya fuckers go. A list of all the dolls I own that have been modified. There are things I don't own anymore not included (a ResinSoul Jun, full doll, that was dyed, and a Angel of Dream head that was completely resculpted) and a doll that is currently en route (doll chateau 70cm boy body with the bone wings) that is getting heavily modified too.

Jaide - Dream of Doll Idol torso and FL F70 legs.  The mobility joint peanuts from the Dream of doll legs, and the thighs of the F70 legs were modified to fit together.  Dream of Doll is out of business, and the F70 line has been discontinued.

David - Migidoll Cynical Yujin with elf ear mods.  The C.Yujin is limited.

Cal - Dream of Doll Idol Black Elf Sha.  His mods are incomplete, but his whole self is being sanded to hide the dremel marks from a bad seam-removal.  The Black Elf Sha was a limited color, and Dream of Doll has gone out of business.  He also has Spiritdoll Proud Hands, which have been dyed brown.

Teirnan - Dollzone B60-004 body, which has had the torso joints completely re-sculpted for movement.  The 60-04 body has been discontinued and is very hard to find.

Heidi - Luts Delf Claus with a mouth-opening mod and removable tooth plate added.  I don't believe the Claus is limited.

Gin- Fairyland MNF Motion-Line boy body whose neck has been cut down and modified with Apoxie to be used with a doll chateau Bella head.

Josh - Doll Leaves body, with torso mobility mods, not limited.

Aki - Fairyland MNF A-Line normal boy body, torso mobility mods, not limited

Charlotte - Luts NS Xia head with vampire teeth added.  Limited.

Julian - Doll Family A Practice Head, major facial structure mods, tear ducts added, lips filled in.  May have been regular release but is currently discontinued.

Terra - Mirodoll Body torso, upper arms, upper legs, arms modded from the elbow to fit Impldoll forearms, Impldoll forearms shortened at the wrist to be proportionate to the torso and upper arms.  Legs modified at the knee to fit Soom Heliot Fantasy Legs.  All modified parts regular releases

Juno - Souldoll Zenith girl body with Soom Coquina fantasy legs.  Mods have not been started yet, but the legs will need to be modified at the knee to take the Soom hooves.  Hooves are dyed.  Body is discontinued, hooves were limited release.

Io - ResinSoul Tang, full body dye, slight subtractive mod to forehead, doll is not limited.

Rune - ResinSoul Jun, ears heavily modified, not limited.

Avalon - Fairyland Tan Sleeping  Dark Elf Soo with eye opening mods on a Souldoll NL  Boy body with Luts Kid Delf Hades legs.  Neck hole of head modified to fit on a regular body without FL neckpiece.  Hades legs modified to fit Souldoll knee, paws tinted gray with dye.  All modified parts were limited or partially limited releases; FL releases tan in batches, but the Soo is not limited itself.

Keilah - ResinSoul Fei with Soom Cheshire Cat legs.  Head has eye opening mods, Cheshire cat legs have been modified at the knee to fit the ResinSoul body.  Soom parts limited, body and head were not.

Riley - ResinSoul Ming with Soom Shale legs.  Mods not started, but the Shale legs will be modified at the knee to fit the ResinSoul body.  Soom parts limited, ResinSoul is not limited.

Mae - ResinSoul Yao with Soom Cheshire Cat legs and RS Ai hooves, mods not started but Cheshire parts will be modded to fit the ResinSoul knee, and the Ai hooves will be modified to replace the Cheshire paws.  Soom parts limited, ResinSoul is not.

Vorelvaeri - ResinSoul Wu on Doll Chateau K-08 Body.  Head has subtractive ear mod to make fantasy ears, tearducts added, body has fingers modified in place, as the hooks had damaged the resin of the jointed fingers, making them sit in place badly.  No limited parts.

Vespara - ResinSoul Custom Colormatched Ai head, with Soom Beryl Fantasy body and Soom Coquina God Hands.  Body has significant neck mod to accommodate the ResinSoul head.  Beryl hooves dyed with black dye.  All parts limited (head is a custom color match, so is one of a kind)

Nariaki - Dream of Doll A&E, cheeks have been slimmed down.  Dream of Doll is out of business, but doll was not originally limited.

Lillium - Gothic Angel Cain, has facial structure mods: jaw, nose, brow and eyes all heavily sanded.  Sculpt has not been released, and is a one-off directly from the artist.

Zephyr - Fairyland MNF Sleeping Breakaway on a ResinSoul Li body.  Sleeping head has had both eyes partially opened.  Neck hole also modified to fit a body without the FL neckpiece.  Body has had Female to Male gender mods, and full torso joint mobility mods.  Head is limited, body is not.

Cambré - Dollzone Mini Miss Kitty on a Doll Chateau B-05 body.  Head has been modified to fit on body, legs have been dyed.  Head was from event doll, body is not limited.

Shydran -Angelsdoll Kloze, eyes have been opened.  Sculpt is discontinued and is very hard to find.

Raul - Fairyland MNF Tan Sleeping Chloe, eyes opened, mouth opened, removable tooth plate added, head is not limited, but tan is released in batches.

These guys dont have names yet but:

Dollzone Event Fairy - permanent dye.  Doll was limited event doll.

Luts orange satyr body with Soom torso and Resinsoul arms, satyr body and torso modded to fit.  Satyr parts limited, the rest are not

Zaoll Dreaming Luv on Souldoll Vito boy body - eye opening on head, body has not been modded yet, but neck will need to be built up with Apoxie to fit head.

Dollzone Miss Kitty on Doll Chateau K12 boy body - head has had neck hole opened to fit on body.  No limited parts.

So y'all haters can kick rocks barefoot. We own our dolls, they're all legit, we can modify them if we fucking want. Choke on it, motherfuckers. 🖕🖕

I got my hands on this awesome dude from Impldoll today! This wasn't a planned character in my doll crew, but I'm so happy that I had a chance to get him. Don't even know if this sculpt has a name, since he wasn't on the website store and was ordered through the email. Can't wait to get home and check how he fits the Idol body, and to make some more photos. Now I wonder if this guy needs the tusks, like Warcraft orcs have, or should I let him be like he is now. :3

Honestly her price is what has kept me from buying her, because I’m not even sure I’d like the “Big BB” size. The Least Expensive: Probably Clover Doll Booth or Angel of Dream Shang Nai. The one you never thought you’d like: TBH if you had told me a year ago I’d want a spider doll I would’ve laughed, but the moment I saw @nyxypixie‘s first progress photo of Silk I fell head over heals for the sculpt. Tank, new hair cut by chalyss Via Flickr: Impldoll's Tank with the same shag wig (brown with blonde tips) snipped to TRY to appear more like a semi-military cut. I ended up cutting almost all of the blonde out which i rather wanted to be sun-bleached streaks, and I gave him a widow's peak that may be a bit too pronouced... and his style is more GQ than military, but dang it, this mess took me almost 2 hours! I need to go to salon school just so I can cut my dolls' wigs right. *grumble* (And just realized I never uploaded a pic of his uncut brown/blonde wig, only the preliminary blonde wig, so sorry for any confusion!)
