Insert fallen in love character: *giving shoulder rides with a blessed look on their face* i am in heaven.

Insert Love interest; YAY IM SO HIGH THANK YOU! *As their thighs get TIGHT around the others face as they raise their hands in glee*

Listen... Midoriya mentions he'd like to get a shoulder ride ONCE and suddenly the whole class A is thinking about how to use their quirks or perhaps do weight training in order to get stronger to give the cute bean the shoulder ride he wants.

This of course has nothing to do with the fact that they're kinda obsessed with Midoriya's thick thighs and they'd like to feel them around their necks/faces...

Bakugo beats them to it because he's been training a lot lately and since his relationship with Midoriya has improved a lot (thank the universe he apologized) he can approach him casually about it, although he still makes it look like he doesn't actually care and that he just wants to prove everyone he's the strongest.

Midoriya agrees with utter joy and jumps easily on Bakugo's shoulders to enjoy the ride and Bakugo is finally in HEAVEN because he just has to look around to see the freckles all over Midoriya's thighs.

The rest of class A watches with so much jealousy, already pouting and glaring at Bakugo for keeping Midoriya to himself.

Then Bakugo bumps into something because he's kinda distracted at this point and Midoriya loses his balance which prompts him to squeeze the blond's face with his thighs to stop himself from falling.

"Oh, no! I'm really sorry, Kacchan! Did I hurt you?"

"I'm f-fine!"

"But you're bleeding through your nose!"

"You're clearly hurt, Bakugo. I think you should go see recovery girl. Don't worry, I can take your place, if you hand me Midoriya–"

"IN YOUR FUCKING DREAMS, HALF AND HALF! YOU'RE NOT GETTING ANYWHERE NEAR IZUKU!"

I wanted to write to you the moment I finished reading Beep Beep Beep but I only had a chance to read it in the one quiet moment I had and I've been busy ever since. I'm sorry this took so long. I loved it! I loved it so much. It was such a satisfying ending. You managed to craft the final chapter in such a way that gives me a sense of peace and completion. I especially like how you had the final Beeping from the new alarm clock to tie it all together. *insert "Poetic Cinema" reaction pic*(1/5)

Sorry this took so long to reply to! I like to format these messages nicely and my tumblr app likes to eat those kinds of posts instead of posting them ahaha

Thank you so much for taking the time to write these lovely messages - I am such an Awkward Mess and I always have to stop myself from just replying with keysmashes and me screeching because I’m so overwhelmed with feelings from knowing that I’ve made something you’ve enjoyed so much.

I really enjoyed keeping the ‘beep beep beep’ motif going throughout the whole fic, but having it near the very end made me so nostalgic. It all came full circle with the brand new alarm clock and the title drop ;;

And thank you! Gosh I worried about including the kisses. Originally there wasn’t supposed to be one - the plan never included a kiss. But the emotions just went in that direction. Izuku had grown bolder than I expected him too and the mood fit a sweet little kiss so well, then at the end they were supposed to Almost Kiss and the alarm would go and that would be it - but Izuku had to go back for his girl !! I’m really glad it all worked out ~ They deserved those kisses.

The cafe was so much fun to visualise - all those stars! I’m happy you said magical because I that was the mood I was really trying for!

I would say the biggest concern with writing an AU fic is that the characters are going to be out of character - like, you’re playing with some well established backstory and motivations and twisting them in a way that you hope still matches the sort of character they are and could become. Hearing that I managed to capture that makes me so happy! I love them all. Even all the side characters and cameos. I’m glad you liked them too!

I would -love- to write more in this universe one day. I really enjoyed writing about it and living there for a few months in my head - I hope to share some of the side stories and random bits and pieces with you all one day. (There’s so much going on with everyone else too!) I’m so pleased the world building went down so well ;;
