Mafukasa swap au, with in game screen cap edits

Things that swapped:

- Parents level of overbearing (Tenma’s are incredibly suffocating, while mafumom is well intentioned but left mfy alone far too much)

- roles in the group (Emu is WxS’ leader, while Mafuyu is Niigo’s)

- appearance of Sekai (Tsukasa has a more monochrome/depressing vibe, while Mfy’s is fanciful and colorful)

- outward persona (Tsukasa is the golden boy, perfect at everything, well mannered, etc. while Mafuyu is outgoing, confident, helpful (even when it’s not asked for), etc.)

Things that did not swap:

- Gender, and therefore school’s they go to

- which group they’re in

- familial situation outside of parents (Tsukasa is still Saki’s older brother and the Tenma’s are still close with the Aoyagi’s, Mfy is still a single child)

- Tsukasa is still the one with memory issues, so Mafuyu is influenced by bad memories from her past from the get go instead of slowly remembering them (she is still completely unwilling to actually engage with said memories even if she remembers them though)

- Which VS’s they start with (Mafuyu is just miku, Tsukasa is Miku and Kaito)

Other important things: (if interested)

- Saki and Tsukasa’s relationship is a lot more strained, Saki has incredibly conflicting feelings about her brother and Tsukasa always has his front up, even around her, so they can’t have a proper conversation

- Toya also has a stilted relationship with Kasa, both the Tenma’s and his father tended to compare the two boys. So while he still looks up to Tsukasa, he has some reservations about weather his admiration is genuine or just feelings implanted in him from the adults. Toya’s much closer with Saki, as he visited her a lot in the hospital (initially at Tsukasa’s request)

- Mafmom is a single mom, and a doctor. Needless to say she is busy *a lot*, bcs of that she’s always needed Mafuyu to be self sufficient and responsible, far before the age one could reasonably except for a child. She still loves Mafuyu very much and always tries her best to give her daughter a free and happy life

- Rather than an actor, Mafuyu found her passion in writing poetry. She wants to become the best poet of all time, which is what leads her to writing lyrics for K’s songs. Only the best composer could possibly support the best lyricist after all!

- Mafuyu’s love of writing comes from remembering all the times in the past her mom would come home late at night, looking exhausted both physically and emotionally, mfy would stay up to see her and then the two would cuddle under the blankets and read together. In those moments it would really feel like none of the rest of the day existed and all those pains and anxieties would slip away from her mother as they were transported to another world in their stories

- some time into this ritual, mafuyu started writing her own stories for her mother, and while Mafumom said she loved all of Mafu’s writing there was something special about her poetry that completely dispelled all of mafumom’s bad feelings and just let her live in the lines of text

- after that poetry became mafuyu’s life, and her Sekai is built off her desire to help people feel better with her work.

- Tsukasa’s Sekai also doesn’t match canon mafuyu’s it’s not built off his desire to disappear, instead it’s his desire to be his own person and figuring out who he even is in the first place (the other three can enter his sekai due to their shared desire of wanting to be themselves without getting hurt for it)

- Tsukasa hopes that by acting, he might resonate with a role and it’ll help him learn more about himself

- since they’re in the images, fun fact, Ruikasa kizuna rank title is ‘charity case’ (in place of 1-2 weirdo wombo combo) due to people assuming perfect, golden boy Tsukasa only started spending time with Rui because Teachers were hoping he would keep Rui out of trouble and get other students to look at Rui more favorably (thus Rui is Tsukasa’s ‘charity case’)

- while kanamafu’s kizuna rank is ‘please take a break’ due to both of them trying to constantly get the other to take better care of themselves. Mafuyu always saying Kanade needs to eat and sleep rather than composing all the time, while Kanade is desperately trying to make Mafuyu realize that working all day and putting ‘110%’ into everything she does, is infact unhealthy and not ‘the work ethic every good writer should strive for’ (it is not working on either end, Kanade is too guilty and mafuyu is too deep in denial)

I have a lot for this au, but making certain things is,,, difficult. To say the least

yo, do ya have any favourite lyrics and/or line distributions? akito getting multiple lines about dogs is neato

Hoshizora no Melody has my favorite lyrics in the game it's not even a tough choice. I love how well every character's arc is conveyed through only a few lines it's so good. Emu could never and would never leave PXL (her grandad) behind, and WxS was able to finally change things for her and help her protect it. Rui was outcast his whole life and he came to accept it as something that would never change - it wasn't until WxS (Tsukasa) reached out to him and let him be passionate about his dreams without judging him that he was finally able to turn things around. Tsukasa throws his all into theatre (making people happy) and it's something that is so deeply ingrained as a part of himself, but WxS let him actually pave the way to make his dream a reality. Nene was too shy to face anyone and couldn't get over the things in her way (her past failures), but she was able to rediscover her passion for singing and is able to sing for everyone once again.

The prechorus parts too, Emu and Tsukasa sing the part about realising that the world can make people smile because both of their dreams are to make people smile. Emu and Rui singing about the world giving life back to things they'd given up because Rui gave up on the thought of belonging and Emu was going to have to give up the Wonder Stage. Rui getting the part about celebrating the colors of the world because his dream is to create shows that anyone can enjoy regardless of identity.

As you said I think Akito getting lines about dogs is a nice little bit of recurring irony. I particularly like this example from Gekokujo that conveys his unwavering determination and drive even when he's faced with forces pushing against him really nicely. Also just Gekokujo's lyrics as a whole I think reflect the event so well.

N25 probably has the best lyric game like there's so many good examples from their songs. Particular favorites would have to be Engeki for summarising basically Mafuyu's entire life in such a gut-punching way, and Tricologe for a similar reason for Hoshizora in that it just does such a good job of representing every character.

Gunjou Sanka is another favorite of mine. If you couldn't tell by now I love stuff that either tells a story or describes a character. Or both. All of Gunjou Sanka is so good and really packs a punch with the emotions but I really like the first verse and prechorus here where it describes the basics of each main story in just one or two lines each. I especially love the Leo/need segment about being able to believe in wanting to stay together since they've moved on from their pasts and are reuinted now.

And how could I forget Mr. Showtime. This one has such clever lyrics and I love the use of parentheses to add secondary meanings to certain parts. The whole song is perfection but I'm particularly fond of this section here, specifically the last line because it understands Tsukasa so much better than like half the fandom does. Theatre is something that Tsukasa genuinely dedicates everything to, in some ways (every way) it is his life. Phoenix is a great example to demonstrate that because it highlights just how much it means to him and how he's willing to put it above everything else, including his own wellbeing, to try and overcome the obstacles he faces. At the end of the day though, even if it's tough and can feel like it's taking too long or isn't worth it, the roadblocks he doesn't anticipate are the ones that help him improve most and get closer to his dream than anything else.

also just this one lyric from Showtime Ruler I love character development. Karasuyasabou actually says that's his favorite in the song, and he talked quite a lot about the lyrics for the rest of the song in his corocoro interview. I'd suggest giving it a read because it's pretty interesting what he says about how he wrote it.

Alright, I figured it out

I don't know a thing about the upcoming event, but I'm assuming they all stay a night on whatever trip they're going on. Well, let's make the place haunted and the sekai kids all wake up in a labyrinth after they fall asleep, separated from each other. This place could even be a sekai with how some of the vocaloid songs turn out. They've had some of their character development, but let's bring back some of their older problems and make them face it. Of course, they also have to deal with the spirits chasing them around as they try to figure out what happened. I want this to be a full on Kikuo psychological horror rather than a thriller

They can eventually figure out they're not alone when they shout through the walls, but there's no way to just go straight through them, so they have to actually find their way around

Airi- Pretty simple considering she's the 2*, I've always kind of seen Airi as the guide of the group even when she was uncertain of herself, especially around Minori, except will-o-wisps are meant to lead people away from from destinations which causes her problems when they keep popping up because it seems they know the only path to go through, and she doesn't know where she is in this swamp anymore

Mafuyu- i think she would start off fairly calm considering the circumstances. She likes the quiet and almost considers not leaving immediately. Until the shadows start showing up, asking for help. Only, they sound pretty similar to some of her classmates and she becomes practically hopeless when the hand of her mother follows her between dimensions. Which leads her to believe that she'll never escape no matter how much she walks away

Shizuku- From what I looked up, the spirit next to her might be a Zashiki Warashi? Houses they guard will prosper and if the household manages to drive one away then the house will fall to ruin. Families would take take of their reception rooms so the spirit wouldn't be driven away, but Shizuku isn't exactly in a house right now which partially keeps driving the spirit away from her and bringing bad luck. The spirt would look like a normal little girl in this world and I think she would fall back on her perfect image in order to keep what she thinks is a lost girl safe, especially if the spirit does stay close afterwards

Tsukasa- This is the perfect devil/angel over your shoulder situation which would drive him crazy. He automatically wants to side with the prim and proper kitsune, but sometimes his instincts drive him over to the tanuki, and he's having a really hard time finding a balance. Only, they start talking about all his friends and how they would think when he leaves them behind to get out of here. Again. I know it's an umbrella spirit that represents abandoned items, but what if the sekai plushies start showing up too, wondering why he abandoned them. They're both a recent reminder and items from the past. He tries to reassure them that he didn't do so, only to be thrown off when the kitsune and fox ask who he's talking too

Who's he acting for if there's no one else around here, other than himself, to notice?

Rui-  As I don't think Rui has killed a whole bunch of people, I'm going with the anger option of the Gashadokuro. What if Rui has this built up anger, that he doesn't even realize? Anger over being feared and isolated for simply being himself. Maybe he's even angry about considering the disband of WxS. Only he never wanted or meant to be angry because the lantern spirits, the Chōchin obake, are meant for entertaining children— which is exactly what he wants to continue to do with everyone else. There's a few too many to be comfortable as he tries to run away from the Gashadokuro though

Read that the Gashadokuro could be repelled with specific charms, and what if a certain kitsune disappears from Tsukasa's side sometimes to appear next to Rui. These times just so happen to coincide with the quietness from the bones backing away, and the times where Tsukasa can get hurt or something. Really drive in how much he puts others before himself, or Rui could see him as a lucky charm that continues to save him. Could be both

to whoever sees this post. do you have a favourite april fools class? because i do and it is one HUNDRED percent solid heart. i love every character in here so much it is so perfect to me that they were all put together

shiho is not my favourite in leo/need (its actually honami) but i honestly really identify with her and it's so great to watch her develop and see the way she deeply cares for her friends (and her sister please stop saying she hates/dislikes shizuku i cant take it) despite her tough exterior

airi is my absolute favourite character for so many reasons. first of all- she is so cute! i love her design and her cards are all great. but even more so i adore her character as a whole. you can see that she really loves not only her fans - from the way she interacts with them on livestreams, and there's also her interactions with saki if you need another example -, but also her unitmates - the way she shares her experience with minori to help her improve, admires haruka and supports her, reminding her to take breaks, and dont even get me *started* on shizuku because there is so much to say about them that i would end up talking about them forever - and also her close friends, such as ena (she's also in solid heart by the way! love her!)

akito is so SO passionate about music and honestly i'm with him there. he likes people who are also passionate about their interests - i am also with him there! i just overall really enjoy how committed and hard working he is when it comes to music, the way he interacts with and cares for the rest of vbs, and also i think his dynamic with ena is great

nene is literally just like me for real for real. i love to reread the wxs stories in order to see how she gradually opens up to her unitmates and becomes more confident - around her peers, but also whilst performing on stage. the rest of wxs love and care about her and she, too, loves and cares about them! she dreams big, and continues to pursue her dreams even though she knows that one day she'll have to leave wxs because of them. because of this she also cherishes all the time she spends with them !! also in canary sings in a quagmire she has the courage and strength to ask for help from her idol herself and it's just so brilliant to see how far she's come from the beginning of the story when she could barely talk to the rest of wxs and had to hide behind nenerobo AND SHE'S ALSO JUST SO CUTE IN GENERAL AND I LOVE HER OK

i feel like ena and her character arc often don't get a lot of attention in this fandom compared to the rest of niigo but i honestly love how far she's come and how she's improving at art and gradually gaining more and more confidence in her creations - to the point where she also teaches others how to draw (rainbow canvas event story) . just her deciding to rejoin her old art class was such an impactful moment for me and i'm super interested to see how she'll develop from this point onward. furthermore! the way she supports the rest of niigo! i love it! when she took mafuyu to her house in someday this wish will transcend the morning sky! the ending of my footsteps your destination! it's just so beautiful and she is such a great character and i could talk about her and niigo in general for hours but for the sake of this post not being longer than an essay i will not

and KAITO ! i do not really have anything to say about him compared to the others but some time last year i made a list of my favourite commissioned songs from each unit and they all featured kaito (except niigo because niigo kaito didnt exist at the time) so theres that

STAR STAR☆Soar!!

A family--both by blood and by bonds--come together to create joy through their musical-like shows. The WxS-adjacent group (with MMJ-style name) comprised of Tenma Tsukasa (leader), Tenma Saki, Aoyagi TENMA Toya, and Yoisaki Kanade. YES TOYA IS LEGALLY A TENMA

about the sekai: the Star SEKAI is a void full of stars with an amphitheater as well (yes Toya's scared of the void). Although there is technically a glass floor if one steps off of the amphitheater stage, you can see directly through it to a mind-bending expanse of stars. The SEKAI gives the feeling of being in space. Star SEKAI was formed from all 4 members' feelings. SSS starts with Miku (ENFP & 7w6) and Luka (ISTJ & 5w6). - Miku is a chaotic cat-like ringleader, with a top hat and everything. Although she's more of a force of chaos than WxS Miku, she still possesses (unfiltered) pearls of wisdom for the SEKAI members. She primarily comes from Tsukasa and Saki's feelings. - Luka is much quieter than Miku, being a vocalist. Her dynamic with Miku has basically just turned into Luka being Miku's babysitter. Luka is down-to-earth, to a degree that some would call pessimistic. She primarily comes from Toya and Kanade's feelings.

Rooftop/loners

A group of outcasts, all on the rooftop of their school, attempts to reclaim their lost passions through music. The 25ji-adjacent group (with L/n-style name) comprised of Akiyama Mizuki (leader), Kamishiro Rui, Shiraishi An, and Kiritani Haruka.

about the sekai: the Rooftop SEKAI is comprised of tall buildings so high up that there seems to be no ground below. There are sky bridges crossing to other rooftops, but no doors down to lower levels of the building. Colorful graffiti is found all over the walls and floors of the buildings. Rooftop SEKAI was formed from all 4 members' feelings.

R/l starts with Miku (ISTP & 8w7) and Len (INFJ & 3w4). - Miku is a cool, calm, and collected girl with a bit of an extreme side to her. She's unafraid of trying new things, even if they seem dangerous. So far, she hasn't broken anything (well, anything of HERS). She primarily comes from a mixture of all four's feelings. - Len is exceptionally creative and outgoing ... and scared of heights. His fear often keeps him grounded on one rooftop for days at time; he tries to fill the boredom void by graffitiing everything in sight. He primarily comes from a mixture of all four's feelings.

Archery Towards Dawn

A school archery club, led by an ex-idol, tries to spread light--to both the world and themselves--through an online presence. The MMJ-adjacent group (with 25ji-style name) comprised of Hinomori Shizuku (leader), Asahina Mafuyu, Mochizuki Honami, and Kusanagi Nene.

about the sekai: the Range SEKAI is a typical archery range, including a small wooden building that seems perfectly designed for idol work, complete with cameras and mirrors; around the archery range are a ring of darkened woods, almost giving off the impression that none should even near them. Range SEKAI was initially thought to be formed from Shizuku and Mafuyu's feelings alone, but later it's reaffirmed that Honami and Nene contributed in quiet ways.

ATD starts with Miku (ENTP & 5w4) and MEIKO (INTJ & 1w9). - Miku is a secretive and mysterious card dealer (of all things...). No matter where she goes, she has a deck of cards and a playful challenge for the SEKAI residents. She doesn't seem to pull from anyone's feelings, but does in fact come from a mixture of all four's. - MEIKO is a serious and unemotional archer, known best for her cold shoulder that she gives just about everyone (Mafuyu is the occasional exception). She spends almost all of her time perfecting her archery skills. She comes from a mixture of all four's feelings.

Music x Creation

An up-and-coming band forced to play in underground music battles due to a series of deadly events. The L/n-adjacent group (with WxS-style name) comprised of Hinomori Shiho (leader), Momoi Airi, Shinonome Ena, and Azusawa Kohane.

about the sekai: the Venue SEKAI is almost entirely comprised of a venue and it's backstage; all doors leading elsewhere are locked. There are people in the crowd regardless of if a music battle is on or not. The venue itself seems to pull elements from the venues Shiho used to work at and the large underground music battle venue itself. Unlike other SEKAIs, Venue SEKAI is formed primarily from Shiho's feelings.

MxC starts with Miku (INTP & 8w9) and Rin (ESFP & 7w6). - Miku is a determined and powerful girl, often overwhelmingly so. She is proficient in the guitar, stands out in a crowd, and never minces her words. She can hold her own in a music battle with no teammates, which is exceedingly rare. She primarily comes from Shiho's feelings. - Rin is upbeat and gusty, but air-headed and inexperienced. Her instrument of choice are the drums, but she can often be found daydreaming, which Miku criticizes her about often. However, she somewhat makes it up with her innocent determination. She primarily comes from the other three's feelings.

Asphalt WORN ROAD

Four unlikely people form a music group through a dare to create a new style of music in just a week. The VBS-adjacent group (with VBS-style name) comprised of Shinonome Akito (leader), Hanasato Minori, Hoshino Ichika, and Otori Emu.

about the sekai: the Mountainside SEKAI is a lone road up on the side of a mountain, with unmarked parking and a small sitting area off to the side. The road seems to go infinitely in both directions along the side of the mountain, but one can look over the edge, held back by a steel railing and find an ocean far below. Mountainside SEKAI was formed from all 4 members' feelings.

AWR starts with Miku (INFJ & 6w5) and KAITO (ESTP & 2w1). - Miku is shy and awkward, often hiding herself in her sketch book. She often freezes up and flees when faced with new people, which most often leads to her hiding behind KAITO and later Akito. Although her self-esteem is low, her advice is deep--a little too deep. She primarily comes from the girls' feelings. - KAITO isn't too far off from VBS KAITO; he is clumsy yet sincerely tries his best as a sort of father figure for the group and other VIRTUAL SINGERS alike. It's been rumored that KAITO knows where the road leads, but he likes to keep an air of mystery around him. He primarily comes from Akito's feelings.

i think i might actually explode what a time to be a rui fan. new alt vocal (THAT IVE WANTED SINCE THE SONG WAS ANNOUNCED IVE WANTED THIS FOR OVER A YEAR AND IT WAS EVERYTHING I EVER IMAGINED IT WOULD BE) absolute BANGER of a commissioned song (cyberpunk dead boy is 1. catchy 2. catchy 3. my new favorite rui song. and LAM did the art which is so fkdsajfkdsjfjalsjf PERFECT choice) and CYBERPUNK SET !!!!!!! im quite scared for the event itself translations aren't up yet and the untrained scares me. the card is called "overheard words" so i think someone is talking bad about either him or his troupe and i cannot take that!! and neither will he. he's spent too long finding a home in those three after being cast out for so long. he 1. does not need to go through rejection again and 2. will absolutely murder someone if they so much as glance at the others badly (he has. absolutely destroyed emu's brother in an early event when he said her dreams are "stupidly childish")

and also ajr literally just posted a music video for one of my favorite ever songs by them and gave it such a nice meaning!! the song is about being in an abusive relationship with someone, knowing that, but not being able to hate them despite. the video showed jack getting up from a therapist's couch in an empty field, running, and then getting timelooped whenever a giant hand squished him. i think the hand symbolizes the person who's manipulating his life and causing him to feel so stuck and hopeless, like there's no escape from their influence. but!! at the end!!! it is revealed the hand is actually his own! and he finds a way to come to peace with the giant version of him. self love? i thought it was a good twist. well done.

anyways as i was typing this i realized its midnight in japan which means WHAT A TIME TO BE A RUI FAN HAS RETURNED. EIGHT new full versions of wxs covers dropping >:) god and then tomorrow is the stream where they tell us new stuff and one song has already been leaked. and im not ok about it FJKSDJFKLSJFKLSD I LOVE THAT SONG IVE WANTED IT SINCe I HEARD IT I LOVE THE ARTIST SM. AND IT GETS A 3DMV and those have been FIRE recently.

11 songs I want in proseka + groups that would fit them

I see people make lists like this on YT all the time and I want in on this too LOL. It's gonna be in no particular order and also not per unit because some songs fit in with multiple groups. I tried adding in some more known songs and some more niche ones.

The assigned singers/units are all up for debate and some of them were done purely based off vibes and how much I like them. You might interpret them differently!

Balsam - Kurosawa Madoka

Unit: Leo/Need Singers: Saki & Rin

I think the song fits with some of L/N's more calm songs like from Y to Y. The song's themes are all about loneliness, which I think fits Saki. The issue is that Saki largely dislikes the feeling of being lonely and being left behind meaning that the song could be interpreted that she's singing this to herself whilst being in denial. Also, another issue is probably the instrumentation, since all of L/N's songs feature like... real instruments. So

Unit: Nightcord at 25:00 Singers: Mizuki & Mafuyu (+ Miku)

Mizuki tends to want to distance themselves from other people so the song fits in with their theme quite nicely. Though, I doubt they want to be alone either, the words in the song seem to align a lot more with what they tell themselves in private. The vibe of the song also works with N25's sound. Hello how are you? and Cutlery have a comparable sound so I think it works.

Also, Mafuyu going with slightly softer vocals and Mizuki with slightly stronger vocals could be nice. Most covers of this song are all on the softer side so I kind of wanna hear what it would sound like with a bit of contrast between two singers in a duet. Add in Miku if you want some more oooeeoo

Kuu ni naru - MIMI

Unit: MORE MORE JUMP! Singers: MMJ + Luka

Just a super cute feel good song that fits their vibe a lot! The song is all about getting over your anxieties and worries and being able to smile together and if that isn't an idol type song then I don't know anymore. I think Luka with some 'sweeter' sounding tuning would be really nice with this too!

Femme fatale - Kedarui

Unit: VIVID BAD SQUAD Singers: VBS + MEIKO

VBS has been getting some really hard hitting songs lately and I'm here to present you with another one I think can work well. The theme probably works with this unit as well since it's all about being lured into something that is wrong but feels so right-

I also really want to hear the chorus being sung by them. Kohane with her lower registry would sound phenomenal in this song and with me being a major Toya fan I just reallyneedtohearwhatthatwouldsoundlike

High-spec NEET - 40mP

Unit: Nightcord at 25:00 Singers: N25 + Len

The song might be a little bit too pop/rock-y for N25, but other than the instrumentation, I think the song works for them, especially in theme. Ena and especially Kanade would basically be NEETs if it weren't for the fact that they're high schoolers that still occasionally touch grass. I was originally gonna give it to only them, but the whole 'high-spec' part of the song where the MC is talking about being born perfect but being sick of everything despite that fits with Mafuyu, so I decided to give it to the entire unit.

Also the chorus has the potential to sound great with Len :D

Seraphim on the ring - Mitchie M

Unit: MORE MORE JUMP! Singers: MMJ + KAITO

I love Mitchie M songs for MMJ and I feel like it would be (for a lack of better words) very girlboss of them to sing a song about being prowrestling idols. It's super upbeat and fun, but the song might be a little too wacky for them so

Unit Wonderlands x Showtime Singers: WxS + Rin

If they add it in they have GOT to keep the adlibs in. I would do anything to hear Tsukasa shouting: 'BRAIN BUSTER BRAIN BUSTER BRAIN BUSTER-' in the song. The only reason why I didn't just give it to WxS is because the vibe of the song fits MMJ better if you get what I mean.

We are friends, aren't we? - Miyazawa Moyoyo

Unit: Leo/Need Singers: Ichika, Honami, Miku

The song is very pretty and the theme is giving major pre-main story L/N vibes. The instrumentation is a bit of an issue here as well though which I think is such a shame cause the song works perfectly with their story.

Unit: Nightcord at 25:00 Singers: Kanade, Mizuki/Mafuyu, Luka

The theme fits N25 as well and I think Kanade's soft vocals would sound really nice on this song as well. N25 has such a diverse sound that you can probably stick a lot of songs on their roster and it would be fine LOL

Henshoku - Kashii Moimi

Unit: VIVID BAD SQUAD Singers: Kohane, Toya, Luka (Vivids works as well but I'll explain below)

Is this song in here for any other reason than the fact that I like it a lot? I mean...

I gave the song to VBS cause the vibe of the song + the theme works with them the best. They've had songs that are musically similar (Garando) and thematically similar (PaⅢ.SENSATION and Ifuudoudou).

I gave the song to Kohane and Toya because I think this song could really highlight the tones of their voices. Also because most VBS or WxS covers only pair up the girls with each other and the boys with each other. From what I hear, people want to see more diversity in the cover pairings so why not have these two together?

A cover with the Vivids would also be nice. I'm not sure what a BAD DOGS cover would sound like, but y'know go crazy go wild-

Setsuna plus - mikitoP

Unit: MORE MORE JUMP! Singers: Haruka, Shizuku, MEIKO

Haruka and Shizuku sounded amazing on Shoujorei and I think they would sound great on this one too. MMJ can use more melancholic songs and this one would be a good pick in my opinion. It's honestly such a pretty song.

This could also work for N25 in terms of theme but I guess I just wanted ... more more more jump?

Super hero - Nem

Unit: Wonderlands x Showtime Singers: Tsukasa, Rui, Len or Tsukasa, Emu, Rin

They gotta have Tsukasa in this song at least. An eccentric and probably delusional MC singing about being a superhero? Yes please. I originally only would've put the Tsukasa, Rui, Len grouping but we have a lot of songs featuring those three already and I think Emu would work just as well in the song.

ERROR - niki

Unit: Leo/Need Singers: L/N + Len

It is a CRIME that this song isn't in the game yet. I think the song completely fits their vibe and they would probably kill it. Also, I know Shiho would sound amazing covering this song. I can feel it in my bones.

Nisemono Ningen 40-gou - ¿?

Unit: VIVID BAD SQUAD Singers: VBS + Miku

I'm such a sucker for all the grungy and almost angry songs VBS has been getting in the game. I feel like An would sound good in this and I'd love to actually see songs from this producer in the game cause they sound so goooddd.

Okay. Another post about Para-Sekai au. A lil additional. Also: we call trap reaction as 'Dark turn' when they're in coma period.

Sometimes, people that use Sekaimetal could have metal erosion too. It was the same case as Metal Erosion in ParaLive starting from Trap reaction, colour drained, coma, dark turn and death.

Let's take our star, Tsukasa as example. He used so much illusions in order to make WxS show perfect. And one day, he overused it and fainted at backstage. During his coma period, he would have flashback about all memory he had with Saki before hospitalize and all alone when Saki had to go to another prefecture to cure her sickness (that's what I heard). And then he got flashback about his fight with Nene and Rui. And you know what he remembered from that fight? You will never become a star.

The only way to save the victims that got into coma period is to get into their mind by kiss the victims' Sekaimetal. Just like ParaLive, you also got risk too by got into coma period, infected by the metal erosion and death.

In their mind, you has to defeat the monster that the victims' created that represent their dark feelings. You could imagine that after our saviour see the victims dark turn, they need to fight a monster(s) that represent the victim. You could imagine their appearance like the overblots in Twisted Wonderland.

You have choice to defeat them. Convince them, fight them and free choice. Convince is an encouraged way to 'fight' them since it means you speak with them mentally(exp: Toya speak to Akito, convince him that VBS needs him). Fight is not so brilliant choice since you fight inks and you doesn't have any weapon. Free choice are mean you could do another things to save them(exp: Kanade play on of her songs to save Mafuyu).

Mizurui Jitterbug cover! I have wished something like this since like... forever? The song theme fit them to well and it is also a perfect way to combine wxs and n25 (also Karakuri Pierrot but it ended in MMJ).

However I don't think we are going to get any mixed groups cover beside the comissioned songs, so if this song was in the game some day I guess it would be great as a Rui and Nene cover or something.

It is not great, I hope that at least it gives you an idea of how a cover like this would sound if it existed. Have fun!

Yes it’s just a month away but it’s been on my mind all day I just had to share

🎄- Rui would 100% make custom presents since he is an inventor himself, he would make an unique gift for everyone for all the amazing shows you all make

☃️- Tsukasa would probably make a speech and would make emu cry(most definitely), nene stopping or trying to stop tsukasa on his speech, and rui might be the same as emu or just congratulating tsukasa on that amazing speech he gave

❄️- I believe with my whole heart that rui and emu both team up to prank you,tsukasa, and nene on your guys’ presents. While you and nene realized after being trick about 2 or 3 times while tsukasa keeps falling for it and it all ends up being a Christmas disaster full of laughter.

🎁- if you guys do make meals together for example tamales, any cake(I do cake sometimes), etc. or even make your own meals and you guys taste test them! It would be a huge mess everyone trying to get/steal ingredients from one another or trying to ruin your dish for the fun, overall you guys would enjoy tasting each dish, unless you can imagine who’s dish got messed up the most is up to you, you guys would eat one another’s dish! 🍴

☃️- Emu would make you all sing Christmas songs and even do singing battles/duet singing, the objective is to try to sing the best while the rest is trying to distract you if you stop and laugh you lose! This would only happen after each one of you or you all would sing a Christmas song to warm up then the battle begins! You can decide who wins

❄️- Tsukasa might want to do a mini Christmas show because it’s a time where family and friends gather so he thought it would be the best to put on a show. And it worked! The people loved your guys’ mini Christmas show wearing cozy and super cool looking outfits that people complemented a lot. Tsukasa also will tell saki about what you guys did for Christmas and probably would like invite saki if you guys don’t mind the more the merrier!

🎁- Rui will make a special robot for Christmas to show to you all and will update it whenever it’s special events/days like a birthday, another holiday or even their show on they are doing. The robot will say a speech heartwarming that makes you feel very warm from the cold I’m sorry I had to type that, he might add on more into the speech on much you all mean to him, cherishing this moment with all the moments you stick with him, you all came in into a group hug to end the day of Christmas 🎄

This is to say. I really do think mmj ate everyone else up encapsulating what a unit song revamp is supposed to be. It perfectly captures their energy and represents them amazingly, the song is really catchy and feels like it was truly 100% made for them and not like just another cover, the choreography was amazing, the camera work added so much to the experience, and the effects were just the perfect amount for their style.

I tried not to account for bias when it came to vbs, I really do think they just have one of the best. Their song balls so hard, it perfectly encapsulates them, and as always they have the best choreography there. I personally loved the mv, but I do think it was a bit lacking in some areas.

I didn’t think I would put nightcord as consistently high as I did bc tbh there’s was NOT my fave. But I do think, similar to mmj and vbs, it did an AMAZING job capturing their energy and who they are. It was a very pretty mv, although a tad boring to me. I think the combination of slow song + very light and minimal movement + minimal effects + empty background knocked it down quite a bit bc it just made it stand out a lot less and not feel quite as memorable. That said it really is still amazing and I love the aesthetic they have. Definitely not to my tastes but I think it’s very good at what it’s meant to do, though not exactly the best.

For wxs, I honestly didn’t like it very much. The song sounded kind of messy to me and I don’t think it captured their vibe very well with its sound and presentation. Their mv was also pretty immemorable and I don’t think the effects were the best and the choreo was. Alright. But it was far more visually interesting and took its role seriously as a unit song even if I don’t think it was a good fit for them. Tbh wxs and leoni are closer to being tied in my mind I’m realizing.

For leoni, I said this in my last post, but I did like it but it felt really really weak compared to every other units. I really liked the camera work and the cut aways to the instruments and the rain effects. However it had a similar problem to nightcord, a slow not very catchy song (I just listened to it not even ten minutes ago and can’t remember most of it), even less movement, an empty environment, and even though it technically has a lot of effects, they weren’t eye catching or memorable and even though I liked the rain on screen it could be a bit distracting. The filter/colors in the video made it also feel like a pre third anni mv too. DONT get me wrong overall I liked it but it was really immemorable and I don’t think it did it’s job as being a new unit song very well. However I do think it very well displayed their vibe and their story, which was very nice.

i think it'd be funny to give it to tsukasa bc like. hell yeah give him a song titled "ultimate senpai" thats actually kinda dark. i just think it'd be funny bc he prides himself on being someone his juniors can look up to and stuff. the true ultimate senpai.

but also i want it to go to niigo + mafuyu in particular. mafuyu is portrayed as the perfect student and stuff but underneath she's suffering immensely for it. she's hailed as something amazing when in reality she's just as human as everyone else. so it feels a little fitting for her <3
