On the other hand he absolutely should have told Y/N no. He could have just said "Y/N, I really don't want to do this, it makes me uncomfortable, please don't ask me to." As for Y/N, I'm glad she's beginning to realize just how self sabatoging she is. Again, in addition to Seokjin, I ship her with a good therapist. She makes a lot of her own problems. Ugh! It is a testament to your writing that 2 people who don't actually exist can make me this frustrated with them! They may as well be real with the yelling I do at them! You should be complimented on that, because it means that you give them a weight that translates to realness. However, I really do hope Y/N gets the help she needs. I want to see this woman happy goddammit! Can't wait for the next installment.🌹

She definitely makes a lot of her own problems, but at least she’s realising it. It’s all about those life lessons, and she has had a LOT of them in these past four months hahaha. I don’t think they’re in love yet, but it’s definitely getting there! With better communication, they have the potential to be a great couple, they suit one another really well and their chemistry is 🤧 Yuna is great, I’m glad you’re enjoying her!

Okay I’ve had time to wallow. Though I won’t think that helps what I feel.

So I know yn must be going through it. How can she really ask him not to go on the date when they’ve decided to take it slow and by ear. I’d feel “am I being too possessive?” Or “do I even have the right to ask?” But at the same I can imagine Seokjins inner dialogue of how he received hearing yn tell him he should go on the date. He could just be like “just tell me you don’t want me to, I won’t.” Or he could just even want to hear it from yn that she just doesn’t want him to. Hearing her kinda of go “yeah go for it” (even though I know that’s not how she said it) he could feel.. in his feels about it. They’re so scared of ruining what could potentially be, but at the same time… I feel like this could also hurt their relationship as well. The kicker is, is that this situation is so realistic, and I mean how they’re approaching it, their hesitance. The fact that they’re scared they feel more than the other, or they think the other is only staying with them because of glob.

Jin doesn’t want to freak yn out by wanting too much think she doesn’t want the same. And yn is insecure that the only reason why jin is even here and staying at all is because of glob. It hurts, so much? But in a good way. Well. In that good way someone reading would appreciate a book is even making them feel something so real and visceral.

Ahh, I’m so happy you’re feeling their hesitancy with the whole situation! It’s a tough one because we as readers know that they both really like one another but are afraid for the same reasons. We want them to talk it out, but at the same time, can understand why they’re not. But don’t worry, because all of this is happening for a reason! It’s pushing them to be honest with one another despite how difficult it is!

I’m hurt but in the best of ways. The cliffhanger was powerful, the nail in the coffin if you will. I could feel the hurt that yn felt with that one phrase. I can feel her insecurities literally manifest in one night. I can’t wait to find out how the blind date went with Seokjin and Suzie?? Was it?? I’m sick to my stomach thinking about it, but I’m too curious.. the worst part is, is that suzie is probably a really great person. Yn probably can’t help but feel like she’s in the way of his great romance. But what she doesn’t realize, and what jin wants her to realize, is that they could have their own great romance too. 🥺

THIS IS THE WORST SHOW I HAVE EVER BEEN OBSESSED WITH. I WANT TO PUT THESE CHARACTERS INTO AN ENTIRELY DIFFERENT SHOW WHERE THE DUFFER BROTHERS CANT DO ANYTHING TO THEM ANYMORE. SEASON 2 OF FREAKS AND GEEKS EXCEPT ITS JUST THE STRANGER THINGS CHARACTERS. PLEASE.

Short summary of things that, off the top of my head, infuriated me:

- why did Vecna not kill nancy? why did nancy just get a Villain dialogue and get told to go tell Eleven about it? Vecna even USED the trauna from Barb at the start why wouldnt she have counted for the fourth kill. Why is Vecna such a drama queen they spent THIRTY WHOLE MINUTES EXPLAINING THIS CHARACTER at the end of part 1 and I STILL do not actually understand his motivations??? this would have made sense if it was to El but I'm mad bc Steve and Robin should 100% have had an argument about her favourite song and gotten to save her. It makes it even MORE annoying that thwy left it on a cliffhanger just for Vecna to not even TRY killing her. What a waste

- the russia plot continued to just. Not intsrest me much. This was better bc there was less of it and all driven by a Specific Thing Happening and there was better character stuff but like???? breaking OUT of the prison just to realise they have to break BACK IN,,, you could FEEL the duffers forcing more screen time for their Two Biggest Names into the finale. It annoyed me. However, David Harbour with a Sword was Very Very Good. Reboot Highlander with him please.

- The El plotline similarly felt MASSIVELY padded to fill extended runtimes. In part 1 it ALL led to answering That One Question when it could have been giving us character moments, or telling us more about the actual purpose of Brenner's project.

- Jason was set up in part 1 as the Best Human Antagonist the show has ever had; as threatening a presence as Billy made all the worse by the fact that he was NOT an outisder, he was a leader, a mentor, someone people looked up to, someone people thoight was cool. He turned the WHOLE TOWN against Eddie and the Hellfire club in part 1... and then in part 2 its just him and One Other Guy who turn up to the house. Did they just,,, forget that he did that??? they just completely dropped the most interesting aspect of him in the final act of his presence on the show. So much wasted potential.

- the pacing was just so off. It felt like Steve Robin and Nancy were getting choked out by those vines for like, half an hour of real time while all the other plot threads were resolving. They have absolutely failed to justify the longer episodes imo, there was just. So much Nonsense I had to slog through for the (constantly diminishing) things I'm actually here for

- I get what they're going for with Will but they need to SAY it. Say the WORD. the scene where Jonathan encourages him to be more open was nice but I just. Its not Enough for me. Skating dangerously close to Supernatural territory of 'being aware what the audience wants but cant quite get clearance to do it' in terms of how theyre handling it. It's not ACTUALLY queerbaiting, its just about clear enough, but it FEELS like it you know

- someone told me they were gunna use Separate Ways by Journey and I was PUMPED. My favourite Journey song. They wasted it. They didnt use it for a powerful sequence, they literally just used a really underwhelming remix of it at the end of an episode basically as a trailer for the NEXT EPISODE. It should have been the song Robin used to free Nancy from Vecna and then they should have kissed

- there is 100% a take of the scene in the campervan where Eddie leans in to kiss Steve, and the show would have been better if they went for that

However, the good:

- I DO feel like we got more, and better, character interactions/moments in the two new eps? When they were prepping the weapons to kill Vecna especially, and at the very end when they went to help at the charity thing.

- Eddie playing Master of Puppets. I S C R E A M E D. I do not have words. Oh my god. Fuck. And the way that soundtracked the other stuff going on was also REALLY good, that scene ruled so hard

- The way Max escaped to a Safe Memory, and the way Vecna announced having found her by upside-downing the memory was visually very cool

- the way that everyone, in every plotline, had a hand in beating Vecna (at least for now). That came together really well

- i was expecting to just be really mad if they killed Eddie, but... it really worked for me. People on here seem mad they didnt try and clear his name but like, what exactly were they supposed to say? the tragedy of it really made it stick for me, and the fact that he really did Stay Himself right until the end. The fact that Only Dustin seemed upset about it in the group annoyed me but,,, I liked how it was handled and the scene with his uncle. But the Duffer Brothers NEED to write a character who can overcome his flaws without dying tragically. Please.

- I R E A L L Y felt it what happened to Max. they really sold that for me. I was already crying about Eddie and that really really hit me hard

- Winona Ryder. I do not need to elaborate.

All in all, the stuff that worked for me REALLY worked and I continue to be infatuated with my various blorbos, but... I wish some other Writing Team was happening to them. And I really wish they hadnt lengthened the episodes, or had lengthened them using more character moments instead of like,,, what felt like just a lot of back and forths and fakeouts?

16 anti LO anon opinions

All under the cut

(1) Fastpassers are also probably mad bc when smythe post fastpass title on twitter(which was heathers musical song ripoff) everyone was so hyped up and excided, they thought this gonna be about "Underqold badass queen Persephone " or something with her trail or something big with her, but no, they got Minthe flashback that didnt change anything in the story

(2) Fastpassers are annoyed bc this episode was flashback of Minthe. Two previous fastpasses got pretty big(and stupid) revals(leto is bad guy,apollo and artemis may be zeus child and last but not least Cronus awakening) so they were hopping for something more not a filler wpisode that changes nothing in to the story bc there were wpisodes that make Minthe more "symphatetic" than this one.

(3) Am i the only one a bit concerned that a Minthe episode made LO fans demand their money back but apparently episodes and a planned redemption over Apollo, who R*PED the main character, was met with fans sympathizing with him and feeling bad for judging him "too soon"? They can accept a sexual assaulter having mommy issues to excuse his bad actions, but a boring filter episode about Minthe, who we know will be killed by the end anyway, gets outrage? That doesn't sit well with me.

(4) oh my god the LO fans hated the minthe fast pass so much they actually made LO's rating start to go down 😭 most of us here dont even like the comic but none of us would purposely review bomb it over a boring episode over a character we didnt like, thats so entitled!

(5) Adding on to the recent fastpass, it was extremely boring. I get that you can't please everyone but the fact that Minthe is having a backstory now just feels like filler.

This is the main issue I have with Rachel's story, she has so many characters but chooses to develop them at the worst times. If we got this backstory earlier in season 2, this would make sense. However, the fp before this one ended on a cliffhanger. You'd think it'd continue but no, we just get Minthe backstory.

I'd rather see an Apollo backstory, he's an active villain and would be interesting to see his motive.

Minthe doesn't have a compelling motive other than jealousy.

(6) I can't be the only one who thinks the new hairstyle updates for characters like Apollo or Eros look weird right? Eros literally looks like an adult version of one of his siblings Storge (who has curly permed hair and was holding a hamster)

(7) That Lo eros panel ... oof. Wheres his hairline going? He had a damn 7 head. Also at least for awhile the men had a different face from the women, but I guess they’re also women now, facial features wise?

(8) On a side note: why the fuck is Eros so ugly in this episode😭

(9) SMYTHE DOES NOT ONLY HAVE A DD/LG KINK, SHE A L S O HAS A PREGNANCY KINK!!! WHY ELSE HADES WAS SO *SMIRKY* ABOUT THE WHOLE FERTILITY GODDESS THING BACK WHEN HE AND PERSEPHONE WERE AT THE BEACH???? i swear to Allah this shit gets even more and more disgusting.

(10) This is something i see so much but LO especially but why do all of them have boring ancient clothes? It's always white or tan sheets or maybe black if it's someone in the Underworld. I'm going more off ancient images but shouldn't the gods especially have more grand and detailed clothing options? i get it's probably harder to design based off colorful skin tones but it's not impossible. it just seems so much of the comic design feels very flat, so if the story can't hold up then the art should.

(11) The main problem I had before with lore olympus was its cliffhanger syndrome. Like, why do some many chapters leave on a cliffhanger and for no reason at all? Like when Hera got hit and nothing happened. When I was experiencing the episodes coming out in real time, it drove me mad.

It's gotten better recently but that's probably because the three recent episodes (fastpass) felt more like filler.

That's the main reason why I feel like the plot is being dragged out. Don't get me wrong, I'm all for cute character moments and creators getting money but, LO is slowly becoming less and less interesting. I literally skipped around in most of the fasspasses because it really wasn't interesting. The only thing memorable about all of the fp episodes is the beginning and end, the middle is just kinda there.

(12) Ampelus (psyche)'s eyes used to be golden/yellow but now its coloured purple lmao

(13) Wtf is happening in lore olympus?! Now they want to bring cronus back and do another war?!? Are they crazy nothing like this didnt happen in mythology and obviously not bc of persephone(in comic her pink tree in underwold will give crounus power and life). It supposed to be romance not whatever fuck this is now.

(14) I feel like if I was at Henson Co. or Webtoons with a tv deal on the line, I would make Smythe to hand writing duties to a pro or take a hiatus seriously plan everything out, because all these new plots are distracting from what people signed up for, which is to see HxP get together and the myth. It seems like filter seeing as any TV adaption wouldn't cover most of it anyway, so why even include it? If RS wants it over sooner than later, this isn't how you do it, she's just procrastinating now.

(15) I find Demeter in LO just confusing. If she’s so overbearing and controlling, why would she ever allow Persephone out of their domain to live with Artemis in the city? Even the most liberally easy going parents don’t let their naive children out into the world like that with people they barely know, yet the supposed helicopter parent does. Why not literally literally lock her up? Especially when Persephone can’t control her powers and is desperate to hide that she killed a village of people? Demeter knows she’s a danger to others yet let her out anyway? That doesn’t sounding overbearing to me. It sounds like she’s right to want to hide her away. Persephone is a bigger threat to everyone else than they are to her. More so, actual controlling parents do give their children phones to keep easy tabs on them, yet LO Demeter doesn’t? She could constantly call Persephone or check up on her without physically needing to be there, yet they don’t do that. What modern parent would let their child leave home without a way to contact them? If anything, she’s extremely loose on parenting her and lets Persephone do/have whatever she wants. The controlling helicopter parent premise too is undercut by the fact LO Demeter ends up being right in wanting to hide her daughter away because within a month of leaving home Persephone is drugged, kidnapped, threatened by several people, r*ped, blackmailed, is close to dropping out of school, attacked by shades, and had a mental/emotional breakdown, many of those things being linked to her future “caring” husband. I just don’t buy it. Demeter ends up looking correct by anyone who isn’t blinded by the rose colored glasses of HxP.

(16) If I'll ever bother to read LO I'll do so only to see how horrible exactly it is.

the plot is actually kinda different from what I thought ?? in my mind the plot was: utena was a girl in a princess school who each and every princess would be "conquered" (for a lack of better words rn) in a ceremonial duel by a prince who fancied them, maybe she didnt wanna wanna marry anyone or she liked Anthy already but anyway in my mind utena showed up in the ceremony with duel clothing and then, in a very brave tm like-scene, she would openly declare she refused to be conquered by anyone and tbh I'm not even sure how Anthy would come into the plot... but back into what actually happened in the episodes everything so far is very introductory and just showing what mechanics will be explored further down the line I think?? the op is really good too

also every boy so far reminds me so much of knights of the zodiac?? maybe it's just the design I guess...) and nanami can get these hands, jealousy is a disease and she's the sickest person on earth for all I know

dont ask me why bit I just feel like room of mirrors - gfriend has a very well fitting vibe for it but I'm not exactly sure why hm.... 🤔🤔

ok so why does this school just have random animals around 😐 I could understand the horse but a bull and a kangaroo?? what ...

touga just says the most random dramatic things and then just casually says anyone who believes in friendship is a fool ?? the guy wouldnt last a day in the naruto universe tbh, he kinda irks me in some way but I'm not sure why so I'll live with this strange feeling for a while I guess

↳ okay so watching ep 10 made me especially kinda creeped out, I know I've watched only 10 eps so far but like can he fall downstairs and break a neck or something already ...

also haha what if I watched that bet on it fmv and gave myself a bunch of spoilers would that be funny or what 😍 this is why i cant have nice things yall.... hope my memory goes to shit when sleep so I dont remember about it this week while I finish it

I feel like the main thing on the episodes are parallels, one way or another I always feel like they're setting up parallels and giving me clues for a bigger picture and a deeper plot arc that is still to come and the bet on it fmv just made this impression stronger, also I wanna say it's done in a good way, one that is both mysterious (??) and "honey you've got a big storm coming" at the same time 🤔🤔 much to think about honestly

↳ just saw ep 11 and even though I already knew this was coming sooner or later it still felt like crap seeing utena lose to dick head, at the end of the episode when he says anthy was always just reflecting utena's own wishes for himemiya (in another way bc I dont remenber the exact words) it felt like 😐 bc yes I knew that (the way she was working her thoughts was simply a copy and paste of what utena was saying) at all time I kept those essays about anthy in my head, I dont think theyll be truly relatable to what I'm seeing rn but yeah anthy rights (even though I know you betray/cheat on utena down the line bc of the bet on it fmv but I'm sure you had your own motivation)

↳ saw ep 12 bc I just couldnt handle being in a cliffhanger and yeah it happened what I absolutely thought it would lmao not that it was that difficult to foresee but yeah, I kinda liked how utena did it for her instead of being like "oh I wanna save anthy from touga" and treating her like a damsel in distress (I know that's kinda her position as the rose bride for what I've been told so far and that this is a subject spoken about in many many essays on tumblr but yeah) bc so far she's been treated as a trophy and a way to get something else, for the green haired guy it was a way to see something eternal, for miki it was a way to hold on into his "shining thing" and for touga it seems (so far) like a way to manipulate (just like he does with nanami) and just mark his position as above everyone else as he seems to view himself?? man I might be saying random stuff rn but it kinda does makes sense in my mind with the information I've had to this point

ep 13-25

honestly 😐😐 through 9 whole episodes I felt like they were trying to make the side characters deeper and show their hidden face and motivations but it felt so shallow...... not even actually shallow, just not deep enough that it would make me care about these characters and the fact there was no actual build to showing us why we're getting to know these characters backgrounds was just kinda meh too, didnt really help that all episodes had all the same formula and the same timing just for the developers made in those episodes be forgotten at the end and also just that pink haired guy could be like "ah failure again", it felt like watching the same episode over and over again, it was really tiring and like?? girl help I do not care about these characters at all, I feel like it could have been done well (like the keiko ep in comparison to the furuba chapter that deals with the yuki appreciation (??) club president graduating.... the way this ep was done and setup didn't really bring me any emotions) overall not to my taste and tbh I feel like I could have skipped all those episodes except for maybe the miki and juri one so 😑

all nanami focused episodes are the worst so far, she's so boring and I cant stand now annoying she is, the diary episode?? the cow episode?? the episode when tsuwabiki fuels with utena?? honestly I know they're trying to show me a better and different side of her but it just doesnt!! work!! bc i feel no sympathy for her, my biggest wish rn is her and touga just disappearing and no more filler episodes🗣🗣

I thought akio was utena's prince?? but apparently he's just anthy's brother and like.. I'm do done with his little talks with utena and yadda yadda, I just wanna see their duel is that too much to ask I'm dying over here (if this lenga lenga continues until ep 25 i will be so mad bc why were so many episodes wasted on such boring and and not necessary side characters backstories?? idc about them at all man aaaaaaaaaa)

↳ ep 25 was good finally we got what we deserve boys 😭😭😭😭😭 can utena just beat up akio already I'm tired of his ass, he exhales both "I'm a feminist I even take women studies classes #herstory" and "if she breathes she's a thot" energy also he has 0 style that mullet is simply horrible I bet there's a hairstylist community who considers him a criminal bc like 😐 it is simply so bad (q bit less when it's tied up but when it's all lose jesus Christ)

also touga thinks he's suuuuch a genius, sooo smart like king, I do not care about you at all can you shut the fuck up please and can we tall about the pink haired guy episode?? wack. honestly thought it would be more emotional or something, I binge watched 12 episodes with his ugly haircut face and did not even feel a thing he can choke I guess ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

first of all, ep 25 was good but kinda reminded me of the nine episodes (13 until 21) where absolutely nothing interesting happened so I hope I'm wrong also can I just say just seeing the preview of the next episode made me roll my eyes so bad I almsot saw my brain?? bc yeah I'm fucking tired of nanami fosuced episodes she's so annoying oh my god nobody cares about a goddamn egg and much less one coming from her let her die or something pls she's so annoying there's nothing I've learned about her that was not against my own will I'm basically rotting over here 🤒

↳ ep 30 has me thinking Akio has a foot fetish or something 😐 bruh leave utena aloooooone I already know your plans and schemes you're not fooling anyone that's embarrassing for u and also... utena you're not very bright are you.... you start seeing every duelist you face with the same exact car and then when you see akio has the same car you didnt even stop to think about it that 1+1 equals 2 ... girl help yourself 😐

↳ yet again another nanami focused ep 😐😐😐😐😐 even though I do understand her better now I still don't find her particularly enjoyable to watch, call me a woman hater but like. idk she's still a bit annoying to me (but touga is straight up evil and is manipulating her so I feel bad for feeling like that tho.....)

↳ ok last 2 eps to go but listen. I thought the akio duel would have happened much sooner, maybe on ep 33 max but well didn't this age well lmao ngl, it did seem a bit too slow paced for my personal taste but also I feel like there's a certain level of drama that comes with slowing the pace down....

↳ aaaaaa yall I'm kinda 😢😭 over the ending omg........... even though it took the best of me to keep going in some parts I still enjoyed the ending aaaaa I thought i wouldnt really like it bc I just usually dont enjoy this type of ending but stil 😢😢😢😢 wait for me utena 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭 girl I cried and then anthy walking in the end god utena and anthy holding hands 😭😭😭😭 akio can suck my dick

there's obviously many things I've missed or that I kinda didnt really pay attendance to so please dont take this serious, I was just writing as I watched the episodes so it's more like a thought compilation than anything, still I can see why there's many essays written about it and why it is held as a masterpiece by so many people

tony did u hear that shit abt the spider-man movies 🥺 ??? i’m UPSET IT’S SO STUPID

I KNOW like. while i do sometimes get annoyed with some of the stuff they do w mcu spider-man i really loved him being in the mcu and i was pretty excited for what they were going to do w him next considering that marvel now has x-men in their possession and the fantastic four have a movie coming out + deadpool being put into the mcu. those are all characters peter has good relationships with in the comics (esp johnny storm and deadpool) and now we just ain’t gonna get that?? stupid as hell. i really cannot see how they’re going to be able to continue on with these next 2 movies without any mention of shit in the mcu. and what’s gonna happen for the other shit in the mcu?? everyone just gonna pretend that spider-man didn’t exist??? fucking dumb.

i think there could be some upsides to this tho. tom holland and jon watts are still connected to the movies so i think they could possibly continue on with the storyline that was set up in hoco & ffh i.e a sinister six team up (if they leave me with that cliffhanger and i never see mysterio again i’m nerfing myself) and i think a sinister six team up could be even more likely now considering sony wanted to do one back when andrew garfield was still spidey. i also think a venom and spidey team up / crossover could happen now and that’s something i’d be excited for bc i think tom hardy and tom holland would mesh real well together acting wise. sony owns the rights to p much all the spider-man characters so with peter being back in sony’s grasp i think it’s likely that we’ll end up seeing way more characters interact with him (silver sable, black cat, green goblin, doc ock, etc)

all of that aside i don’t think this is going to be the last of the news. this is only like day 1 in their talks for this and (that i know of) neither studio has officially confirmed anything about it. and given the massive drop in sony’s stocks since all this news came out today..... lmao yeah it wouldn’t surprise me if sony and marvel will be back in talks to try and work something out

Catch up on Part One and Part Two !

You had woke up the next morning with a bad headache and a dry mouth. You forced yourself out of bed to grab an advil and chug down some water. It was almost 12 in the afternoon and you knew what you had to do today. You would have to go to Harry’s, head in hand, and apologize for flipping out on him. He shouldn’t have barged in on you and Niall like he did, but you also shouldn’t have said such horrible things to him.

You sat down for a quick bowl of cereal before hopping in the shower. You slipped on some jeans and and old t-shirt before leaving your apartment; Your wasn’t trying to impress anyone today.

Harry’s house wasn’t very far away, only about ten minutes or so. The drive today felt like it had only taken 10 seconds. To your ‘luck’ every light was green and nobody seemed to be out on such a beautiful Saturday afternoon. You pulled in to his driveway like you had a million times before. A part of you was hoping he wouldn’t be home, but you could see his expensive car in its usual spot. You took one last look at yourself in the rear view mirror before finally walking up the steps to ring his doorbell.

You were still exhausted from the night before and was hoping this whole apology thing would go by quickly. The door finally opened a few minutes later but it wasn’t Harry who opened it, it was some girl you recognized as a fling he had a few months ago.

“Oh, um, hey. Is Harry home?” She was wearing nothing but a shirt of his that was one of you favorites. Well, used to be one of your favorites.

“I’m sorry and you are?” She responded, not in a rude way but not very polite either. You rolled your eyes due to the fact that you had met her about five times before and she never seemed to remember you.

You responded with your name, “We met awhile back actually.” Your hair was still wet and the wind was causing you to shiver as you crossed your arms across your chest. Maybe you should just go home and wait another day to apologize, he was obviously busy.

“Oh right! At the dinner party?” You had never once gone to a dinner party she attended but you wanted this conversation to be over so you just smiled and shook your head.

“He’s in the gym if you want to follow me.”

Sweetie, I could find anything in this house blindfolded, You thought to yourself but instead responded, “It’s okay, I know where it is.”

She shrugged as you walked in. “I was going to go take a shower anyway.” You kept walking down the hall towards the gym as you heard her feet patter up the stairs.

You never minded that Harry saw other people, but for him to throw a big tantrum over you and Niall last night seemed a little hypocritical this morning.

You heard the loud beat of the music under your feet as you neared the gym. You knocked slowly, feeling like an idiot because he obviously wouldn’t be able to hear you. You pushed open the door to see him running on the treadmill in basketball shorts. He worked out all the time and cardio was always the last thing he did. He stared straight ahead looking out the window into his backyard, deep in thought. You didn’t want to scare him in fear of him falling and getting hurt so you took a seat next to the door and watched him run. You never got tired of seeing him shirtless; or naked for that matter.

He went from full on sprinting to a light jog before finally ending with a slow walk. You got up and walked over. Surely he couldn’t hurt himself while he was walking.

“Hey loser.” You said as you walked up beside the machine resting my arms on the side casually. His head turned quickly to where you stood and he tripped lightly, thankfully not falling.

“Love! what are you doing here?” He turned off the machine, wiping his face with a towel he had placed on the panel.

“I thought I’d stop by and like apologize and stuff.” You responded as you looked anywhere but his face. You had always been shit at apologies.

He stepped off the treadmill, throwing the towel over his shoulder and grabbing a remote to turn off the music which suddenly made the room eerily silent. “I wish you would’ve called…” He was obviously embarrassed at how you had caught him during a booty call.

“S’okay, I don’t mind.” You put a little too much emphasis on the “I” before cringing. You had to remember that you were here to apologize not to pick another fight. He looked at the door before staring back at you.

“Yea, she came over last night. I--“

“No need to explain, H.” You put my hand up to stop him. You really didn’t need any of the gory details.

“Well, um, I’m glad you came. There were some things that I wanted to say too.” You bit your lip while nodding your head, a nervous habit you had gained as a child.

“I can just shower real quick and then we can talk or we can--“

“Harry!” You heard her calling from upstairs.

“I’ll be right back.” He walked towards the door before turning on his heel to look back at you, “Don’t leave.” It sounded so pathetic coming from him. You don’t think I’d ever seen him so vulnerable.

“Of course.” You gave him a reassuring smile. Why? You had no idea. You just needed him to calm down; his demeanor was beginning to make you nervous.

When he left the room, you waited a few moments before walking out to the kitchen hoping he’d have a banana or something. You couldn’t hear the conversation going on upstairs but you suddenly heard the sound of bare feet running down the stairs. She looked pissed as she walked straight passed you, not giving you even the slightest glance before slamming the front door behind her.

You still had a mouth full of banana when Harry called out your name from upstairs.

“Yeah?” You yelled back.

“Give me five minutes. I’ll be right down. Don’t leave.” Why did he keep saying that?

You busied myself by sitting on the couch and scrolling through social media on your phone. It hadn’t even been three minutes when you heard him coming down the stairs. His hair was wet and his body still had droplets on it as he walked the living room where you had been sitting. He was shirtless and only wearing a pair of joggers. You also observed that he obviously wasn’t wearing any underwear. “That was quick,” You noted.

“Didn’t want to keep you waiting.” He plopped himself down next to you, a few droplets from his hair falling on your arm. You put my phone down on his coffee table giving him your full attention.

You turned your body to face him completely as you began, “Look,” You cleared your throat before continuing, “I don’t know what happened last night with you.”

He opened his mouth but you put your hand up to stop him, “Just wait,” You interrupted, “I was just really mad at you and I was a little bit tipsy and when I said those things to you outside… I didn’t mean them. It was a shit thing for me to say. You’re one of my best friends and I guess what I’m trying to say is, I’m sorry.” You gave the entire speech to the sparrows on his chest, too nervous to look him in the eye. You heard him let out a little chuckle before you finally looked him in the eye.

“I’ll admit that it hurt a little, but I understood why you were so angry. And I’m sorry too. I overstepped.”

“Yeah. Why did you? Overstep, I mean. You said I didn’t know the half of it…?” It was his turn to look anywhere but at your eyes.

“It was um I just-- I made a mistake. It was nothing. Let’s just forget it ever happened.” He rubbed his hands on his thighs making his pants sink down even lower on his hips.

“No…because that’s not all. Why did you tell Niall I was ‘off limits’? What does that even mean?” Your voiced raised at him.

“It’s nothing-- it was stupid.” He was shaking his head and messing with the rings on his fingers.

“Harry, tell me.” You leaned in closer to him.

“No, just drop it. It’s over.” He still wouldn’t look at you.

“I’m not leaving until you tell me.”

“Then you’re gonna be here awhile, pet.” He removed one of his rings before slipping it back on and repeating the motion.

“You’re being childish.” You were starting to get annoyed at him.

“You’re being childish, I said forget it.” He snapped back. You had to hold back a laugh at how immature he was being.

“Ridiculous.” You thought aloud before standing up and taking your phone. You walked out of the living room and almost made it to the hallway when you heard his feet pattering behind you.

“Wait, wait.” He grabbed you by your elbow turning you around. You raised your eyebrows at him urging him to continue. You gave him a few extra seconds but he still hadn’t said anything else. You rolled your eyes turning back around and stomping off.

“Wait! Wait, okay. I’ll tell you.” You stopped, not bothering to turn around and look at him.

“I--Lately I guess I’ve-- I don’t know maybe-- I just I really like you.” You turned to face him slowly.

“Yeah, I like you too, that’s why we’re friends.” You didn’t understand why it was so hard for him to say something you already knew.

“No. I mean, yes I like you as a friend, but I like you more as more than just a friend.” Your eyes narrowed in on him to see if he showed any hint that he was joking. You took a step closer to him.

“Are you fucking with me?” You questioned.

“No. It’s just the last few months while we’ve been hanging out, I don’t know. I um somewhere along the way I guess I um caught feelings or something.”

You couldn’t help the laugh that slipped out of my mouth. He had to be kidding. You were always playing pranks on each other but this had to be the lamest one he had pulled yet. It took a few moments for you to calm yourself down. He was really dedicated to this one, not even cracking a smile. You guess all that acting work paid off.

“Oh c’mon, that’s not even funny.” You were still smiling at him, urging him to give up and tell you it was all a prank. It wasn’t till you saw his chin start to shiver as he looked away, covering his mouth with his hand. He wasn’t joking.

He was telling you his honest feelings and you had literally just laughed in his face. Before he could move farther away you threw my arms around his neck, holding him to you so he wouldn’t run away.

“I’m sorry, I thought you were joking. Harry, please.” He still had one arm on his side and the other on his mouth as he shook his head no.

“Stop, stop. Please you know when you cry, I cry. Baby, stop.” You begged into his chest. You could feel your own eyes start to sting with tears. You lifted up your head and stood on your tip toes as you placed kisses all over his face, tasting the saltiness of his tears on your lips. You sighed in relief as he finally put his arms around you. You looked up at him, his eyes were watery but he had stopped crying.

“I don’t understand. When did this happen? Were you ever going to tell me?” Your voice shook as you took in his broken expression.

“I didn’t know. I mean I didn’t know right away. It all happened slowly… over time. It wasn’t until last night when I saw you with Ni-“ His voice cracked as he closed his eyes taking a deep breath.

“But you were chatting someone up last night? And this morning with her? How can you say that and still be with other women?” You was genuinely interested in his response to this question.

He opened up his eyes again taking a deep breath, “Like I said, I didn’t know the extent of it until last night. I was so…heartbroken last night I called her up just because I was feeling lonely. And after what you said…” He stopped again.

“I don’t know what to say. I never really thought of you like that.” Your eyebrows knitted together as you racked your brain for any other time you had ever thought you had serious feelings for him. Obviously you liked him; he was so sweet and charming, you didn’t know anyone who didn’t. But you don’t think you ever once thought of having a relationship with him.

“I’m not asking you to say you love me back I’m just--“ You stepped out of his arms shocked, effectively stopping him from talking.

“You love me?” You whispered into the hallway. At first he said he had liked you, ‘more than a friend’ were his exact words. But he had never once uttered the word ‘love’. You were completely taken aback. You had no idea. You always thought you and him were on the same page.

“Well…yeah.” His hands were barely touching you now from the distance you had built between us.

“Okay. Well that’s…that’s a lot to take in. You’re gonna have to give me a minute.” His thumb rubbed over your arm soothingly as you thought over everything that had happened yesterday and today. He stood there quietly but you could hear he was breathing fast.

“Where…where do we go from here?” You looked up at him.

“That’s up to you.” His green eyes bore into yours as you thought over his words. You couldn’t hear his breathing anymore so he must’ve been holding his breath.

“Well I guess the least you can do is take me out on a date.” You heard him breath out a laugh as you smiled up at him. You took your place back in between his arms, his chest pressed up against your shirt. He placed his hand on your cheek before leaning in for a kiss.

You had never thought of being in love with Harry before. He was always around, lighting up every room he walked in. He was such an amazing person and he had fallen in love with you. You smiled into the kiss at that thought. Maybe you did like him more than you had originally thought. As you pulled away a terrifying thought popped into your head.

“It would just be me, right? Just us exclusively?” You had to ask.

“Yes, yes of course. Just you for as long as you’ll have me.” You pulled him in for another kiss. It deepened quickly as he slipped his tongue into your mouth. You could feel him stiffening underneath his pants so you pulled away. He looked at you confused.

“I’m not about to fuck you after some other girl just did less than 24 hours ago.” His mouth opened in shock. You turned around finally walking down the hall and reaching the front door before shouting out over your shoulder, “I’ll call you.” You added a little wink to let him know that you would definitely be calling.

As much as you wanted him right then and there, you wanted to leave him high and dry just like he did to you last night. You got in my car pulling out of the driveway and heading back home. No one could wipe this smile off your face. You couldn’t believe how much had changed in the last day but you were more than excited to see what the future held.

A/N: Okay, so I really liked writing this! I might use this as inspiration for a fic later on…
