Debut or Die episode 52 behind the scenes

There's a massive spoilers for manhwa readers (mentioned on the first page) so I'll make the spoilers on page 2 red so you can scroll past it if you like

Soheun Episode 52 Behind the Scenes> Episodes 51 and 52 featured a lot of new characters. Those who have read the novel will find it new, and those who are reading the webtoon for the first time will probably have guessed various things. I received the appearance and information about these friends in advance around the start of webtoon episode 10, but it was left unused for a long time… The character design itself has been decided for a while, but I am finally able to show it to you. I hope you enjoyed watching it.

The first appearance of Chaeyul in the webtoon was Jang Jin’s idea. “Chaeyul is a center member of VTIC, so I think the public over there will mainly recognize VTIC through Chaeyul’s image. How about showing Chaeyul first so that they can see the public’s views over there as well?” There it is. I thought it was really fun and a good idea, so Chaeyul was the first member of VTIC to appear in episode 28. There is a lot of content that could be a big spoiler after this, but there are names and other information that have not yet appeared in the webtoon, so if you don't want to, please skip to the behind-the-scenes page and read it.

2. Below is some of the information about VTIC that I previously received from Deoksu. I'm sharing it with permission :D *

Chaeyul - Depending on the concept, the tribes are already divided into desert foxes and arctic foxes. When the concept was intense, it was given the additional nickname of desert fox, and when it was inactive and its cheeks were slightly puffy, it gave it the additional nickname of arctic fox because it made it look lovely and happy.

Judan - He has a neat appearance, but he has a mole around his mouth like a point. Currently have auburn hair.

Shinoh- The costumes are the most exposed.

Cheongryeo - Bihan, Shinoh, Chaeyul - Judan there is a one year gap between them.

I have to say this now... So, the profile picture of Chaeyulmanul (social media) that appeared in the webtoon was a desert fox.

I've also written about other behind-the-scenes details, but I've tried to keep them short to avoid spoilers and not spoil the experience.

The next episode is with the Azusa contestants again. I look forward to! XD

After Chaeyul's first appearance, Cheongnyeo with completely contrasting color and temperature appeared, showing the charm of the group called VTIC, and further showing that the real power is the leader, Cheongyreo. These days, individual fandoms are becoming stronger among idols, and the method of creating unity through members rather than world views seems a bit classic. However, VTIC is a group with experience, so I wanted to create the dignity that comes out of this classical music.

'Strongest Baseball' opening match

Lee Deok-hwa and Lee Kyung-gyu of Channel A's 'Urban Fisherman' showed off their loyalty to Jang Si-won PD.

Lee Deok-hwa and Lee Kyung-gu will appear as the first pitcher before the opening of JTBC's new entertainment program 'Strongest Baseball', which will be broadcast for the first time at 10:30 pm on the 6th.

Squid Game found-family headcanons part 2:

- Sangwoo eventually meets Saebyeok and is understandably confused.

- His friend has suddenly acquired two kids that he hadn't heard of until this point, one of which is quite clearly older than his actual daughter.

- He also strongly doubts Gihun's decision making skills regarding this topic because isn't that the girl who stole from you? And suddenly she's your daughter now??

- But then he observes her just slipping things into his pockets like his keys or wallet and he decides not to bring up the "pickpocket" thing after that.

- Anyone who can keep this dumbass friend of his alive is worth keeping around after all.

- They don't really consider the other a friend, but they both care about Gihun so that's all they really need to know.

- Most of their interactions involve vague insults if there are other people with them, but if it's just the two of them? You can bet they tell each other about all the dumb stuff Gihun does.

- They collectively have perhaps a bit too much blackmail material where he's concerned but they seem to be getting along so Gihun decides it worth it.

- But then he remembers a few things he overheard Gihun & Sangwoo talking about and it doesn't take long to connect the dots.

- He does briefly consider giving the money back because he's worried about someone looking for it, but he has technically earned it.

- Besides, Saebyeok would probably just swipe it again if he did.

- Deoksu...exists.

- Saebyeok runs into him while she's with Gihun and immediately knows this isn't going to just be a casual meeting.

- Gihun almost goes full "protective dad" mode which she did appreciate but also "this guy will seriously kill you, stop."

- She's not entirely sure how they got through the whole thing without fists being thrown but it's probably better not to question it too much.

When You Fall Through The Glass ~ Jang Deoksu Headcanon

When he watched you pick up bib number 7, Deoksu couldn’t help but worry a little bit that you were at risk

Although he wasn’t completely sure about what the game would be, he didn’t want to see you in any harm

You remained confident however, feeling that the middle would be the best place for you to try and keep yourself safe

As the two of you walked out with everyone else onto the platform and saw the glass before you, everyone could hear the sharp intake of breath that came from Deoksu

Straight away he could tell that you were in a dangerous position, not even thinking about himself as he listened to the game explanation

Your eyes looked back to him, noticing how hard he was trying to hide his expression and not let you see how worried he was

Statistically he couldn’t see a way for you to pass across the bridge without ending up falling through

As the first person stepped forwards, Deoksu wriggled in between the two people between you both, tapping against your shoulder, encouraging you to step back

Deoksu carefully pulled you into his side, whispering into your ear a promise that things would be alright for you, just as the first person fell through the glass

The two of you both flinched together as the next person went, copying what had already been done, facing a dilemma once they were left with two options

He couldn’t bring himself to watch as one by one people fell to their deaths, watching on as the line got shorter, and your chances of survival too

Each person felt like a step closer to the inevitable for Deoksu which absolutely killed him on the inside

Although he was more than happy to see everyone else fall, you were the one person that Deoksu didn’t want to see go

Eventually you found yourself right at the front, finally feeling nervous yourself as you saw no one else before you

From behind you, Deoksu could see that you were nervous as your shoulders dropped, even without knowing you for very long, he could pick up enough signs

Watching you at the front of the line was the last thing that Deoksu wanted to see, as you took tentative steps forwards

There were still several rows of glass to go, and he was doubtful that you would be able to guess them all right too

More than anything else he wanted to grab onto you and pull you away from harm, but there were two too many people between you both for Deoksu to reach you both

You gave yourself a couple of minutes before making your mind up that the left would be the side that you jumped to

Just before you did, you looked back at Deoksu, noticing the panic in his eyes, completely unaware of just how hard his heart was pounding

You offered him a weak smile, murmuring a thank you across to him before counting yourself down from three

As three came, Deoksu flinched as he watched you go up in the air, slightly turning away in anticipation as he caught the sight of shards of glass out of the corner of his eye

A loud shriek came from Deoksu as he watched you fall, collapsing to his news as his heart twanged in his chest

Knowing he wouldn’t get the chance to say goodbye killed him on the inside, and on the outside too as a single tear rolled down his cheeks

When he eventually found himself at the front of the line too, Deoksu couldn’t help but look down and see where you were lying

Suddenly he wasn’t scared anymore, you had been brave enough to take the leap, and so it was only right for Deoksu to do the same

If he made it, he’d be happy, but if he didn’t then he knew he was going to be down there with you

Having always hoped he would make it out with you, Deoksu was at least happy to go out with you as he made his leap, crashing through the glass just like you had done

i'd be lying if i said the relationship wasn't a little toxic. it's expected when in a relationship with deoksu but i feel like he just doesn't know how to treat someone in a relationship

he's in love with you and he knows that, but he doesn't know how to express it correctly. he doesn't want to seem weak by showing you how much he cares for you

he fits the 'asshole to everyone except for their partner' trope perfectly. he feels like you're the only person who completely understands him so he treats you really well

deoksu is really protective of you. one glare from this man will get anyones attention off of you and onto him. it's not surprising to say he would get jealous super easily

he's also really threatening so people know not to mess with you because he'd get involved if they do. he doesn't take insults lightly, especially when they're about you

he loves pda. it makes him feel more confident and almost prideful because he has a s/o that actually loves him. if you don't like pda before your relationship starts, you'll get used to it by the end

he likes to show you off and one of the reasons why is because he's baffled that you give him real, honest love

he acts like a big bad but i feel like in private he'd be like a teddy bear. he's intimidating to everyone but you

he won't ever say it out loud, but he really does wonder why you love him as much as you do. he doesn't understand why someone like him deserves the kindness you give him but he wouldn't mention it to you

he finds it hard expressing his love for you verbally, so he prefers physical touch over anything else. he always has a hand on you, whether it be around your shoulders or resting on the small of your back, he's touching you

his touch is surprisingly gentle, contrary to his behavior. he feels the need to be soft whenever he touches you because he worries you'll break. he treats you like a piece of glass

you're the only person he'll actually ever let his guard down around. he trusts you completely so you'll see him without the 'i'm a tough guy nothing hurts me' facade of whenever you're alone

i don't think your relationship with him would be horrible by any means, but i think he would have trouble with a serious one. as seen in the show he basically uses minyeo for his own gain and he wouldn't know how to not do that to someone

when he realizes he actually likes you he goes into panic mode. he doesn't know how to deal with his feelings at all so his confession is really awkward and slow

he won't ever treat you terribly though. he treats you really well for what it's worth

he knows whenever you're upset or uncomfortable and he doesn't know how to comfort you with words so he'll sit with you in silence

i don't think he ever truly learned to deal with his own emotions so being in a relationship would be hard for him. he'd get angry a lot at little things and i feel like he'd be possessive

it's not like there aren't any positives to being with him, though. the positives outweigh the negatives and you're always there to calm him down when his emotions get out of hand

he genuinely loves you though and protecting you from others is one of the ways he can show it without saying it verbally. it's what he's good at

if and when he ever actually says the words 'i love you' he would pretend it never happened right after because he hates how exposed it makes him feel even though he trusts you

he just needs someone to be there for him and truly care about him. a healthy relationship would be really beneficial for him so you do your best to keep it that way

he's not a bad person; at least not to you. he tries his best and shows his love for you in plenty of ways, from protection to gentle touches in private or in public. either way, everyone knows you're together and he's not afraid to flaunt your relationship

he loves you and just needs to know you love him back because he worries he isn't good enough. please tell this man you love him

Squid Game headcanons but the high school/college version:

- It doesn't matter what universe these AUs take place in, Gihun & Saebyeok's first meeting will always involve her stealing from him.

- It takes a few tries for him to befriend her but it still happens.

- Saebyeok has no idea how it happened but she's friends with this idiot now.

- Deoksu is that one student who runs a mini black market who somehow hasn't been caught yet.

- Saebyeok used to help him with it but then ended up stealing from him.

- She wasn't caught and there wasn't any proof that she'd done it.

- Which, ironically, is exactly how he figured out it was her.

- Everyone immediately starts walking in the opposite direction if they're both spotted in the same hallway because there's a fairly high chance of a fight breaking out.

- Gihun met Ali at an after school club and it wasn't long before he introduced him to Sangwoo.

- Saebyeok gets detention a few times because apparently you're not meant to bring knives to school.

- She meets Jiyeong one of those times.

- Just like with Gihun, it takes a few tries for them to become friends.

- But then she observes Jiyeong punching Deoksu in the face one (1) time and that's all the convincing she needed.

- Ali managed to befriend Saebyeok after a single conversation, something which Gihun is lowkey bitter about and Jiyeong finds endlessly amusing.

- Minyeo is also part of Deoksu's mini black market thing.

- She also finds it funny when people inconvenience him.

- She's not exactly friends with anyone but she randomly starts hanging out with different groups and no one questions it.

- The closest people she has to friends are Saebyeok because they were both part of the black market thing, and Jiyeong because she also enjoys inconveniencing people.

- Their interactions mostly involve her letting them know good times to target Deoksu (because, again, she finds his frustration amusing) and also exchanging insults.

- Saebyeok will stab anyone who upsets Ali or Jiyeong without hesitation. She very carefully does not mention this to Ali.

- She also does the same for Gihun but she'll never admit that.

- Sangwoo's fair game though...unless someone (usually Jiyeong, because she likes watching her stab people for some reason) asks her to do something.

- Gihun is very much the dad friend.

- Sangwoo is the one who tries to prevent them from getting in trouble.
