Is jayberry canon in Rise of Change??? If not, can we get JayBerry headcanons?

I think they will be canon because I love them, they r so silly <3

Some head canons:

Jay and Berry flirt via trying to piss the other off, and being annoying bastards

They will often also team up to annoy other ppl as a pass time.

Sometimes when a cat is getting on Jay's nerves Berry will purposefully distract that cat in obnoxious Berry ways.

They both like to info-dump on eachother and they will often spend part of their day just listening to eachother rambling about a random topic.

They both reveal how much they care about eachother when one is hurt or sick, they tend to coddle the other, Jay tries to hide his worry but its obvious, Berry more outward about it

Their relationship torments Falconstrike (Lionblaze) just by existing. He tries to be nice about it tho... through gritted teeth lmaoo (Holly thinks this is hilarious)

If they do have kits, Poppyfrost is the donor and they are probably Cherryfall and Molewhisker, though idk if imma give them kits , Jay does not give be fatherly vibes 💀

Jayfeather infodumps to Kestrelflight and flametail cuz he knows they'll listen and infodump back, nobody else knows that they do this cuz it's in the dream world thing but it's super cute to just hear jay infodumpimg abt a history thing, flame infodumping with questions and kestrel infodumping with theories. It's quite cute and they even consider them the best parts of their dates.. even tho it confuses any bystanders

Bonus (this could be spoilers to the fic so read at your own risk ig): when berrynose joins the relationship, he infodumps to others abt how cute his bfs are and just listens to their conversations with a smile thinking abt how he got so lucky then the conv between them switches to how berrynose is so cute and he gets flustered cuz he's the one calling the other three thar, not being called it. Okay, BerryLion's cool and all, but what about JayBerry?

JayBerry has plenty of cute potential! Grumpy doctor x petulant bratty patient is a good framework :3 They each have a certain intensity about them that could mix to be either volatile or passionate and both are fun.

If we assume it starts when Jayfeather still has his empathic superpowers there's some easy inroads to him figuring things out. Like, "oh, whenever I touch Berrynose to apply a poultice or something he always feels... o-oh...!? 😳" (As usual, I figure Berrynose has the initial crush on the sharp-tongued medicine cat; anyone who speaks firmly and decisively to him gets his crush imo).

Could also explain why Berrynose keeps ending up with excuses to go to the medicine den, if he isn't just going there for strictly medical reasons. 😼 Weird how Jayfeather only seems to think one cat needs routine physicals, huh...

Worth noting: there is plenty of Berrynose for Jayfeather and Lionblaze to share.

Does Jaywing (y’know Jayfeather) end up with anyone in your rewrite/au? I remember you saying you were considering him getting with Berrynose and I honestly never knew I needed that until now.

Just Jaywing possibly being in denial about liking him and Berry making the biggest deal out of the smallest injuries just so he has an excuse to see and annoy Jay. And then you also have Falconclaw that is notorious for not liking Berry so when he finds out about Jay’s crush he’s lowkey like “wow 😐”. But he’s supportive anyway because he loves his brother. And whenever they get together Berry is the smuggest thing just like “look at the baddie I pulled by being ✨obnoxious✨”. The sillies, lots of comedic potential.

And if the were to get together and have kits, Poppyfrost could be their sire.

Holly is the perfect prefect. The golden child. She would kill herself if she got 98% on a test. But then she burnt out. She was leftover. She pushes and pushes herself harder and harder- she falls lower and lower.

Honey noticed this and tries to help, but Holly's aggressive, like a homeless, scarred puppy. She eventually caves after her all out low in the dumpster. Honey protected her, encouraged her, everything- to try and help her, trying to help someone who tried and failed as someone who tried to never try at anything.

Berry also took pity on her and helped too (mainly with terrible jokes which holly usually appreciated) {he's just. a fun little guy. a. a little guy. leave me alone.}

Holly eventually became a warrior maybe around the time Jay became a medicine cat (because she failed a couple assessments)
