Lore Thrusday — Brute Plasma Rifle
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Called "blood-hand" by the Jiralhanae, the Kewu R'shi'k-pattern plasma rifle is a modified version of the standard Okarda'phaa-pattern secretly commissioned at the Sacred Promissory by the Prophet of Truth.

I have COVID and hate it so I decided to make a list of all the Covenant species to see if they have a dick + balls or not.
Sangheili: Sangheili are seen to have bulges in several pieces of concept art and renders. Furthermore, Henry is a sangheili seen in The Mona Lisa, who is naked. When we see him, his crotch is covered by a shadow. This implies the presence of dick. Furthermore, in Halo 5 some Sangheili have crotch armor, which would also imply that special protection of the groin is needed. Therefore, we can conclude that Sangheili have dick + balls.
Unggoy: No dick, no balls, we’ve seen them naked in every game. This calls into question Unggoy reproduction, as they are said to breed like rabbits despite their lack of external genitalia.
Kig-Yar: Since this depends on the subspecies, there isn’t a one-size-fits-all answer, however there is a difference in male and female sex organs and apparently males can get aggressive during sex, turning to biting and scratching, meaning that males do hold some power during the reproductive process. Therefore, as also evidenced by Halo Wars 1’s concept art, we can conclude that the Ruutian subspecies has a dick, while the Ibie’Shan subspecies appears to be much more bird-like and has a cloaca as seen in Halo 4 concept art. The T'vaoan subspecies is basically a giant bird, so we can conclude that it has a cloaca as well. Therefore, 1 ⁄ 3 of the Kig-Yar subspecies have a dick, and the other two have a cloaca, which will henceforth be referred to as the Kig-Yussy.
Huragok: Are basically giant flying nutsacks, however they do not fuck to make offspring, instead they ‘build’ their children with a combination of mechanical parts and biomass. Therefore, no dick + no balls and probably no butthole either.
San’Shyuum: Reproduction is similar to humans, with a male and female required. Given that they give birth to live offspring, as well as the fact that ancient humans and San’Shyuum could find each other attractive, one can conclude that their matters of reproduction are similar, implying the existence of a dick. This isn't a foregone conclusion, but one can assume that given the preexisting similarities between the two species, they would have similar genitalia.
Jiralhanae: NOTICEABLY LARGE bulges in concept art for Halo Wars 2 implies there’s something betwixt a Jiralhanae male’s legs. Crotch armor can also be seen in other renders implying balls in the same vein as the Sangheili. However, 3d renders of naked Jiralhanae do not show the dick + balls (thankfully), however a shadow as well as a bunch of fur covers the crotch. Therefore, we can only speculate as to the existence of Jiralhane genitalia. It is possible that it is obscured by the fur, or that it remains inside the body until mating, at which point it exits the body. In summary, likely dick + unconfirmed balls.
Lekgolo: After scarring my eyes reading about worm sex, it turns out that there are hermaphrodite worms that don’t have dicks and worms that fuck the hermaphrodite worms with these weird little things called spiculies that aren’t technically dicks so I can confidently say that Lekgolo do not have dicks.
Yanme’e: Yanme’e exhibit no sexual dimorphism, and they’re all naked so we can see they don’t have dicks.

Happy birthday to Feodruz!
Today is his -476th birthday!
Tumblr media
Feodruz joined the Keepers of the One Freedom as part of the personal escort of the faction's leader, Castor, who was also his long-time friend.
He joined the Keepers on their mission to the Ark to activate the Halo rings. During this mission, Feodruz and the Keepers realized that there were UNSC spies in their ranks and pursued them. He fought Mark-G313 and was heavily wounded. He was presumed dead by his comrades when Mark was later spotted alive.
In reality, Feodruz survived the encounter but defected to the Banished based purely on that faction's better odds of victory.
In canon (~2560), he is turning 61!

I decided to revamp all my Halo OCs and color them finally because I never actually DID give them official color schemes in the 12 years I've had them.
Shame on me but meh, good for practice
In order as goes: Zigor and Sorrow on top
Zosimos and Cato at the bottom
Taking a break before starting commissions

So we're all agreed that...
this is ABSOLUTELY 100% a thing in-universe post-HCW.
It can't not be.

Lover Of Atriox
As requested by @elliethedragon , iiiiii..apologize if this is not great, or ends up being a bit ooc. Atriox is not a character I've written for, lol- Hope you can enjoy!)
Being the spouse of the leader of the banished is not easy. For one, people barely knew of your relationship. He is not ashamed, any who have anything to say about it he will deal with, swiftly; but he has many, many enemies, and the number grows more then it dwindles. Atriox' personal life is very need-to-know, you included.
Another thing is you must be a very hard person. Atriox does many horrid things, and as the banished grows as do his ambitions. If you can't handle the death and destruction, the fact he does not treat those he works closely with with kindness, and just how bad the people around him are, you wouldn't be in this situation.
But...Those are the down sides. What those that hear of it think of when they imagine your relationship. Of course you've come to terms, or maybe even enjoy that, but there's so much more.
It's the way he comes home, either gone a day or months, sweeping you into his arms and holding you close, the one person in the galaxy he doesn't want to completely throttle. You will want for nothing, anything you need or want he will find some way to give to you; you are his to cater and care for.
You've seen that harsh and cruel nature directed at many others, but never yourself. You only know of the man that is incredibly protective of you, willing to strike down any that harm you. His giant form like a wall keeping you from the dangers of war and strife, never to allow another to harm your precious form.
In the night he will hold you in his arms against his warm body, speaking low words of adoration and love. This man has gone through much, from the covenant to the banished, and this calmness, gentleness...It is heaven to him. These times are sadly few and far between as Cortana's reign and the UNSC's fight against the Banished, but that won't stop him from taking in every moment, every second he can.
He is stubborn, worse then even most Jiralhanae, but you can trust every move is thought out, calculated, though that can be difficult in your relationship. You are often left to your own devices, but when conflicts arise getting his stance to change is near impossible, so that is something you must come to terms with. You also have limited access to full freedom, normally needing at least one guard, for your safety.
Many close to him do not support or agree with your relationship, but they wouldn't be caught dead saying it around either of you, and that's how you like it. He is a difficult partner, but in many ways so very worth it.

A Halo concept of mine: I had the idea that due to how Jiralhanae culture is highly patriarchal & eye contact is seen as challenging another, their females would wear eye meshes & coverings so they can't even be seen looking males in the eyes. I'll make more variants later. If you want to make your own version, you can this base:

Lore Thursday — Spike weaponry
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
With its heritage tracing back to hunting tools and weapons used in armed conflicts on Doisac, spike weaponry fell in usage after the Jiralhanae joined the Covenant, with many Jiralhanae adopting plasma weapons instead.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Spike weaponry manufacturing remained on Doisac until the months leading up to the Great Schism, when the Prophet of Truth secretly ordered the Sacred Promissory on High Charity to expand its production scope to include various Jiralhanae matériels.

Thoughts on Lydus? Did your opinion of him change after he made dealings with the Banished?
One of the hardest lessons I have had to learn is that what I would do in his stead matters very little to a man with his back to a cliff.
And Lydus has been against the cliff for quite some time.

Happy birthday to Voridus!
Today is his -505th birthday!
Tumblr media
Voridus joined the Banished alongside his older brother, Pavium. After the Banished arrived at the Ark, Atriox sent Voridus and Pavium to scavenge for resources, including what remained of High Charity. Although he was warned not to enter the wreckage by his brother, the reckless Voridus blindly entered. His forces were attacked by Flood that remained after the war and needed to be rescued. He and his brother were eventually able to stop the Flood from spreading to the rest of the installation.
In 2560, Voridus and Pavium were still on the Ark representing the Banished when Castor and the Keepers arrived. They discovered a message written by Veta Lopis that was meant for the UNSC while she was in deep cover within the Keepers. Lopis warned that Covenant remnant leader and prelate Dhas Bhasvod intended on activating the Halo array with Castor's assistance. The brothers fought with the Keepers and Covenant forces, but were ultimately unable to stop them, though Bhasvod's plan would be separately thwarted by the UNSC.
In canon (~2560), he is turning 31!
