whats an individual headcanon u have for each of the boys + regulus and lily?

GOD okay oh my god. um. james: tucks his cigarettes behind his ears like a pencil. he is constantly moving, bouncing his knees and cracking his knuckles and pacing and wiggling and squirming. he can’t sit still, can’t concentrate to save his own life (until, you know, he has to actually start saving his own life). he’s fascinated by muggle culture in the most endearing sort of way. so brilliant but so, so clueless. 

sirius: sharp. just. sharp. his teeth, his cheekbones, his rebuttals in arguments, his answers to questions in class. he’s quick and witty and beloved because of it. he’s tough around the edges, his face gets stony when he’s angry, he can fire off curses faster than any of them. when he’s pissed off it burns everyone in the room.  remus: mmmm messy. his person his clean, sure, but his belongings? his quarter of the dorm? disgusting. it’s all open books and an unmade bed, broken quills and pencil shavings, ash and cigarette butts, cold tea and mug rings on every available surface. SLOB!  lily: god she is so. like. overly analytical of herself. she rambles and uses her hands a lot and gets overly invested in things and sometimes oversteps her bounds, it’s all over over over, she’s bubbling and boiling, never still until she’s so hot she spills and starts steaming. literally also the best at keeping secrets. she’s always up to some shit and sometimes it’s shady af. she’s not above using her strengths to her advantage. i love her. i want her to step on me. 

regulus: just. oh my god. a big old idiot. he is the most inconsistent person ever but that’s completely on purpose. he has so many different sides to himself and he only reveals one at a time. he loves so deeply it’s like he lives with a knife lodged next to his heart. everything chafes it. he doesn’t like to be touched except by people he trusts. he would do anything for the people he cares about, absolutely ANYTHING. no limits no boundaries.

1. FAV THING ABOUT EACH BOY!!! OH BOY!!! okay so james: hkejejdf his unwavering dedication to the people he loves. he has absolute faith in them and loves them unconditionally. he’d do literally anything for them. also he’s so fucking funny like stop STOP i love he. as for sirius: his ability to romanticise even the smallest things. part of that is a coping mechanism because of all the compartmentalising he does; it’s better to focus on the pretty things in life rather than remember the bad and wallow in them. every day is just about keeping his head above water. also he’s very protective of the people he cares about and openly affectionate and brilliant and just all around endearing. remus: his anger. this is a really weird answer but from the prospective of an author, him carrying around all of this pent up rage/aggression that he’s constantly trying (and failing) to suppress. idk it just makes him so much more interesting and dimensional. like, whether he likes it or not, the animalistic instincts of the wolf are a part of him. peter: nothing. not a single thing. unforgivable snotball boy. 

2. i think i fell in love w them mostly through other fics and other people’s interpretations, but now that I’m writing them on my own I love them for different reasons than I used to (and a lot of them are listed above). I just adore their dynamic, I love coming up with crazy shit for them all to do or say. i love the potential of them.

ooh cool okay UM! thoughts on wolfstar?

okay so my first answer was a little salty (not at anon, just at jkr), but like. okay so they. like, they’re the other halves of one another. they’re two pillars leaning on one another, in support and solidarity. remus thinks that Sirius is so bright he’s blinding, that he shouldn’t even be allowed to look at him. he’s a rare thing, a beating heart, and remus is so, so afraid of breaking him. 

Sirius sees remus as like, something combustible or explosive. when it’s just sitting there on its own, all innocent like, it can’t really do any harm—but when you add the right elements or drop a matchstick close enough, the whole place goes up in smoke. remus is TNT and dynamite and exciting and fascinating and dangerous, really, when one thinks about it. the sweaters and the mismatched socks and the soft tufts of brown hair falling into his eyes hide it well, but no matter what he’s still got claws, still got teeth built to bite.  They love each other. they hate each other. they think the other is the funniest fucking person to walk the planet. remus would die for Sirius, really. would endure a thousand transformations all at once just to save him. Sirius, in turn, would take the curse on for remus. he’d eat the whole damn moon if he could, actually, just to make the pain stop.

ooh hi! i'm listening to your blown glass boys playlist and slowly losing my mind these are all very Them i love it a lot <3 i wrote about 1.2k today but it's been so gross i feel like i'm just forcing the words out of me it literally feels like pulling teeth! its frustrating. so instead i'm watching a studio ghibli movie to calm down:)

AHHH oh my god jdjejdnf im so happy u like it 🥺 i need to finish editing my playlists and making more honestly bc rn they’re kind of messy aside from those first few. but YAY FOR WRITING ive almost hit 100k w year five but I can’t quite seem to squeeze out that last 500 words jdjejd disaster v disaster. it literally does feel like pulling teeth it can be so excruciating. but honestly!!!! that’s so good like recognising when it’s too much and stepping away from it!! i admire that so much <3

what you're like in person okay uhh: you try to keep everything organized all the time but it doesn't always work and sorta stresses u out a lot, you have a really nice laugh, you wear bright clothing and are in general just really kind but you can be super mean when you need to be? ummm you listen to music a lot and have doodles all over your work, your room is decorated really well and you can't keep a good sleep schedule to save your life (hopefully this was at least semi accurate)

stop it’s 100% accurate the way that you know me better than I know me oh my god. I have never written a single page of work without doodling at least a dozen stars all over it I’m such a disaster!!! also yeah no my sleep schedule is absolutely butt fucked KDJDKDJ it’s so bad 🤭
