Fun Game Concept!

So as you know, Choo Choo charles is a open-world game that has you constantly being hunted down by a man-eating steam engine monster while also gathering enough upgrades and weapons to kill it. Well, I just thought...

...what if it was on Sodor and the monsters were the ttte characters we know and love?

The game would take place after BWBA (but better), and would be followed up as a sequel to my TATMR, which I'm currently writing. There would also be a few elements from Security Breach, which would involve you getting collectibles or weapons that would benefit the player independently, having to sneak through certain areas.

The Story

It's been years since Lily and Patch, along with Mr Conductor had saved Lady and her magic railroad from doom. Both are now young adults when Lily gets a strange letter from her grandpa, asking for help. She decides to see what's going on and Patch tags along for the sake of it. One thing leads to another and the two find themselves on Sodor again.

But something's wrong. The engines have transformed into beast-like creatures, attacking anyone they see on sight. Mr Conductor and the two soon reunite and are enlisted to help find a cure to stop the insanity. Along the way, Lily and Patch must dodge, weave, stun and defend themselves from the horrors of Sodor!

Gameplay + tutorial

In this (not real) ttte horror game, in the first segment, you play as Mr Conductor.

Mr Conductor is who you play as for the tutorial and the rest of the segment. The tutorial involves you learning how to collect items, sneak through areas where engines are roaming and how to shoot/throw and distract enemies using the environment around you. The location of this tutorial is on Misty Island, and the tutorial uses the location as an advantage to help the player be able to navigate through foggy or dark areas without a flashlight.

The three main antagonists for the tutorial are the Logging locos (they seem fitting for baby-step missions) who are always gonna be patrolling the Logging station and beach.

For the rest of the segment, Mr Conductor is tasked with helping around the camps that are inhabited by most of the Sodor residents. Here are the tasks;

1# Reach the other end of the Logging station without being spotted (tutorial begins here)

2# Find the storage hut to store the fish

3# Talk to Ruth

4# Collect 10 peices of jobi wood around the camp to help Ruth build the handcar

5# Give the wood to Ruth

6# Talk to the three railway controllers

7# Find Junior

8# Use the handcar and go to Sodor

Collectibles

Scattered around the island are a total of 13 wooden sculptures of the engines. They can be found in areas that are linked the most to them.

The Thomas sculpture can be located in the mines, a call back to Down the Mine.

The Percy sculpture can be found hanging off the edge of a dilapidated truck, a somewhat reference to Percy's Predicament.

The Edward sculpture can be located at the back of his old berth at Tidmouth Sheds. This is a reference to Edward's Day Out.

Style

The game would have ps1-style graphics and the environment is really dark to increase uneasiness for the player.

The engines

The engines are the enemies of the game. They don't have any dialogue as they've all gone nearly fully insane and feral, practically animals at this point. So good luck begging them to stop, your pleas will fall on deaf ears.

But they're not evil! They're just hungry...I promise. The hunger is strong, so powerful that it hurts. They are just as innocent as you...

The engines are so hungry that they don't want a friendly chat. You smell...so good, every fleshy creature they find smells so sweet...so divine...so delicious. Looks like you've got some massive mouths to feed, Sir.

They stalk around the darkness, looking for something to eat, somewhere to sleep, somewhere to be free. Sodor has recently been gathering a lot of dark clouds, making everywhere dark, but they don't mind at all. Too much brightness hurts their eyes.

You'll know who and where they are, just listen for the blast of a whistle or the honk of a horn.

I had this idea for a while and everyone's talking about the marketing trio on Twitter so here's my edit of Junior. I think it be cool if he had a different color outfit to distance himself from his cousin/NWR. The red outfit is like an inverse, with black to match with James (the only other classic engine Junior interacted with) and for his bright personality. And a percy version too! Tbh I like both variants.

Here’s my version of the train goddess herself!! I was inspired by a lot of incredible people here!! She wears much more friller and way more fancier outfits and hairstyles this was my first attempt on her (Because I always project, I made her Afro-Latina 😊)

 (Yes, she and Smudger are dating, hence a bit of his colors scheme like green orchids and jewelry on her palette. They wear matching clothes 😊🥺I have so many things to say on this ship which would be separate) ✨💚

Her real name is Diantha, no one on Sodor knows these, the only few who do know were/are the former and current ghosts/spirits(ex. Smudger, Kyle, Adeline, the ghost gang/trio), help create Gold Dust but since it spread across the island (ex to protect everyone, her being attacked after the incident plus the more formerly aggressive spirits like the ghost trio making their own dust after it’s tainted from their negative emotions, mainly their envy, jealously complex desires of vengeance)

She usually stays at the Shining Time Railway/Magic Railroad but acts as a guardian/keeper/holder to not just the Gold Dust but every humanoid since she was the first sentient creation unknowing to humans as she was seen as a myth and then everyone else follows soon after, watching over them and doing her best to protect them despite her having to stay in Shining Time, making sure they don’t die from serious accidents that happened, becoming more common later on..

That was fun…

She’s extremely powerful, from making plants sprout back to life, and grow when she’s around to healing anything with her golden tears, teleportation, levitation, anything. After the TATMR where it’s the scientists attempting to capture anything magical, specifically Lady for their nefarious and malicious purposes. Let’s just say it’s involved a Project technology like- humanoid god vs a actual goddess who still looks to be in her early 20s in human years curbstomp battle one was victorious but at what cost..

Before the attack, Lady managed to play keep away but after one unfortunate incident involving Stone,Boomer, D10, and Routh, she escapes long enough to return back to her realm before falling into a coma. Her spirit, however is in limbo and manages to still look over while she attempts to heal herself despite her regeneration as the Project did a number on her. She’s still very much powerful but not to her full abilities 

Does not view herself as above the others due to her holy status (ahem cough cough Alfred Godred cough cough) and remains kind,humble and wise beyond her years despite looking youthful(she doesn’t appear to age) but can be absolutely ruthless towards her enemies especially if they harm her loved ones (ex.Smudger, her fellow spirits friends like Tino (Timothy) Kyle (Proteus) & Adeline)

Speaking of, she has been trying to be the peacemaker between the other spirits and attempts to help them make peace with their demons to help them gain another second chance, it’s more of a guiding attempt which falls flat with the ghost trio at first since pre-Alfred and Godred kept demanding to return back, she beats them too many times to count 

Takes Kyle on as a apprentice after he comes to Sodor, was slightly shocked but very accepting on the circumstances of his spirit roaming on and connected to the lamp, much to formerly Alfred and Godred’s chargin, one of the few to still refer to him as Kyle instead of Proteus since he likes to try and feel connected to one of the few shreds of humanity he had left

Speaking of, she does help other helpers/guardians which were accidental, folks with a pure heart and welcoming intentions(like the conductors and the stones), Kyle was on the other hand was gifted a bit of magic by Lady to help ease his pain and sorrows and help him, is currently teaching Kyle who tends to stay at the narrow gauge lines to be near Stanley and acts like a guardian angel alongside Lady, who trusts him enough to have him watch over them

Is currently looking for ways for help them regain their lives back or make them understand what they did wrong to see if they’re worthy of being given life once again (ex. Kyle is the only one who was unable to be seen or hear by anyone living except for the other spirits who can interact with the living, helping Smudger during his time as a generator since he was also in limbo and might’ve ended up making him immortal like her)

Most of her materials like clothes or weapons are made from gold dust, and she tends to wear more simple clothes whenever she’s was interacting with others (a disguise), however her eyes which are always sparkling and have pink irises plus her hair always flowing about like Princess Celestia, it’s becomes rarer these days (she was researching more on Tino and Adeline’s deaths, hoping to help them get their justice from their murderers and ensuring the remaining get punishment)

In Sodor, she would be living in a cottage after she regains her physical form back (with Smudger later on)on what folks like to call Muffle Mountain, where it’s impossible to reach her and easy to get lost, the only who can reach her are her close companions where they are guided with golden whistles she has gifted them…we all know what happens next do we?

My self insert starts out pretty angry, aloof and resentful. She lacks joy and waiting to die. One summer my self insert being their fall guy, goes with them. While in shining time she sees PT Boomer knock a shelf over filled with toys. Once he leaves my self insert goes to pick up the toys and grabs a figurine that looks like the human models from the classic show, she talks to it for a bit then stops herself thinking it's crazy to talk to a wooden toy. After she leaves, the toy begin to sparkle. Sparkle. Sparkle.

My self insert is in such a rush she boards the wrong train and ends on Sodor. She's lost and confused and wandering about when she meets Junior. Junior tells her about Sodor and the magic there, he needs to find the magical railway and the engine who guards it. My sona is confused but agrees to help him anyways as it could be her way back home. As they travel around the island and meets more characters, my sona gradually comes to enjoy the place. Junior helps my sona bring back her sense of wonder and joy, and they fall in love.

As it turns out Junior has already met my SI. He is the same toy she fixed earlier, so he already got a taste of the kindness she hid for long. In his world all the model humans are toys; without the magic gold dust not only would their dimension cease to exist, but the humans revert into lifeless toys. Realizing the severity of the situation my SI becomes even more determined to save her new friends.

In a low point PT nearly succeeds in destroying the buffers and Junior reverts back to a model. My sona remembers the lessons she learns and her newfound joy and creativity empowers Lady and brings Junior back to life. At the end my sona decides to stay there as an engineer/rail staff. Junior and my sona start to go out, they soon get married and have a kid.
