My My, I Could Never Let You Go
Summary: Sasha Zoe just wants her dad to walk her down the aisle. There is only one problem: she doesn't know which one is her father. What could possibly go wrong?
Pairings: Levi x Hange, Sasha x Niccolo, and other background relationships
Disclaimer: This is a Levihan Mamma Mia au. This fanfic is inspired by Mamma Mia which is directed by Phyllida Loyd, written by Catherine Johnson, and uses music from the pop group ABBA. Attack on Titan is a manga/anime series written by Hajime Isayama and published by Kondasha
Author’s Note: Happy Valentine's Day! This chapter focuses more on Sasha's friends (more of a Galentine's tbh). I did add some scenes from the movie, but you'll find it towards the end. This is the last chapter where I go deep into everyone's backstory. Future chapters would briefly touch on it, but I won't go into too much details. Please note that I have only had 1 bf and the relationship was short, so my knowledge on love is purely based on fanfic and the media.
Speaking of looks, the dresses are the same as the movie. I usually don't add clothing descriptions unless it is necessary. I find it so random to write although you need it to build a scene 😅

Ch 2: Girls Just Wanna Have Fun
“Sasha, who else knows about your fathers coming to your wedding?”
Sasha turned to her left to face Historia. Sasha, Mikasa, and Historia were laying on Sasha’s bed waiting for the rest of the bridal party to arrive with their dresses. Sasha was in the middle, Mikasa was on her right, and Historia was on her left.
“It’s just the girls in the group. I didn’t tell any of the guys.” Sasha replies
Mikasa sat up from Sasha’s right. She looks at Sasha and raises an eyebrow.
“Did you at least tell Niccolo?” Mikasa asks
Sasha paused for a long time before letting out a quiet no. She knew she should tell her fiance, but she wanted all of it to be a surprise for everyone at the wedding (minus the people who already knew). She could tell by looking at Mikasa’s face that she was ready to start interrogating her. Luckily, Sasha was saved by someone knocking and opening the door to her room.
“Knock knock” their friend, Hitch, enters Sasha’s room followed by the rest of the bridal party: Annie, Hanami, and Mina. All three girls were carrying dress bags (minus Sasha’s wedding dress because she got it yesterday) for the wedding. Mikasa and Historia stood up from the bed to help set the dresses down on Sasha’s bed. They proceeded to hug all of their friends after they finished.
Sasha met Annie and Hitch while in high school. Both girls were friends before joining the group (although it initially looked one-sided. Annie wasn’t good at expressing her feelings yet).
Annie Leonhart is Sasha’s Russian friend with blonde hair and ice-blue eyes and loves eating sweets. She dreams of becoming a patissier one day but did not pursue it because of her father. Her father wanted Annie to learn MMA and go pro. Annie’s dad sent Annie to Greece to learn pankration (a form of MMA), but Annie ran off to Kalokairi instead. She never contacted her father, and both had a falling out. Annie was found by Hitch’s parents who let her live in their home. Both girls grew close, and Hitch was the one who encouraged Annie to contact her father after years of silence. Annie eventually forgives her father after he apologizes for everything. Now Annie can pursue her dreams and stay in Kalokairi with Hitch’s parent’s permission. Now Annie attends L’Ecole Ducasse in France to be a patissier and is currently dating Armin Arlet.
Hitch Dreyse was born in Kalokairi after her parents moved from the Netherlands. Hitch has an easygoing personality and loves teasing her friends, especially Annie. She is also Annie’s first friend as she was the one who was determined to be Annie’s friend after Annie moved to Kalokairi. Hitch also had several admirers in high school, one of them being her current boyfriend, Marlow. Marlow has always had a crush on Hitch for a long time, and they started dating after Marlow finished his first semester at King’s College in London. Marlow would tell Hitch his dreams of working as a politician and Hitch is always his number 1 supporter despite not telling him that explicitly. Hitch attends AAS College for Fashion Product and Promotion (she asks Historia to model for her when possible). Sasha remembers when Hitch’s visits, she would catch Hitch looking out the window as if expecting Marlow to appear. Hitch realized how much she missed Marlow because she cares for him deeply. Hitch knew she needed to tell him her feelings the day his ferry arrived.
Hitch walks up to Sasha laying in her bed “Look who I found after my trip with Marlo?” She then turned to the rest of the girls who were hugging Mikasa and Historia. It has been years since they have seen one another. All of the girls (minus Sasha) decided to go their separate ways after graduating high school. Hitch was the only one who stayed within the country. She would visit Sasha every now and then during her free time. Sasha decided to stay in Kalokairi to take care of her mom.
Sasha’s friend group started out with her, Connie (who moved to Kalokairi from Wales), and Marco. Jean joined the group because Marco is his best friend. Jean moved to Kalokairi with Marco and his parents from France. Jean and Marco now own their own house they currently use for visits. Eren, Mikasa, and Armin (who is orphaned and lives with Eren) joined next because Mikasa started hanging out with Sasha after Sasha constantly begged Mikasa to help her study. Eren and Armin followed Mikasa naturally. Annie joined next, followed by Hitch and Marlow after Sasha invited Annie to eat some sweets together at the hotel. Hitch was surprised Annie started making more friends, and Marlow followed because of his crush on Hitch. Hanami joined the group because she helped Sasha out in school. Hanami also covers for her in many situations (any situations involving food and sneaking). Niccolo joined the group after their first meeting and when he surprised Sasha in Kalokairi. He also grew close to Jean and Connie before visiting, and they came up with the idea. Mina is the recent friend to join the group. Marco went to Brown University in America to study education. Marco met Mina one day on campus, and the two often had classes together. The two eventually begin dating, and Marco often brings Mina on his visits to Kalokairi to meet his friends and go sightseeing.
Sasha looks at the group near the door. She was curious how Hitch convinced Annie to come since she should be on her date with Armin.
“I was having a nice date with Armin until Hitch” Annie glares at Hitch “decided to end it and dragged me here.”
Hitch laughs and waves a hand in the air “I told you this morning we were meeting with the others at 10. It was 9:50 when I came by, and you were still eating breakfast with Armin. You left the hotel at 8:30. No one takes an hour and twenty minutes to eat breakfast.” Hitch turns to Annie with a mischievous smile on her face “Besides, Armin is not alone, and he’s very understanding with me stealing you. He has Marlow, and I’m sure they are preparing for the wedding as we speak.”
Sasha turns to Mina and Hanami wanting to hear their explanations. Hanami spoke first “I left Jean so he could work on his Best Man duties. I ran into Mina and Marco on my way to the dress shop. Marco insisted for her to help me, and we ran into Hitch who already had Annie.” Sasha turns to Hitch and Annie. Annie was trying to defend herself while Hitch was laughing at Annie’s embarrassed face. Armin and Annie must have gone sightseeing or something and lost track of time.
“Anyways” Hanami interrupts the two while Mina goes to Annie and holds her arm for Hitch’s safety. “We need to try on our dresses, and I already got them altered. I want to see if I need to make any more last-minute changes before the wedding.” She then walked over to the bag with her name on it and motioned for the others (minus Sasha) to follow and get changed.
“I’m so excited about the wedding! I really like the color of the dresses you picked Sasha” Mina says as Sasha helps her with her dress. She turns to Sasha and gives her a sweet smile.
Sasha was glad to have someone like Mina in her friend group. She’s going to have to thank Marco for encouraging Mina to join later.
“I agree,” Hitch says as she puts on her dress “the guys haven’t seen what we look like either. We are going to blow them away for sure” Hitch tossed her hair a bit for an effect and laughed. She turned to Annie with another mischievous smile.
“I know Armin would be over the moon after seeing you in your dress, Annie. You could accidentally spill some wine on your dress, and Armin would still think you’re beautiful” Annie’s face turned red and she jumped a bit because of Hitch’s words. Luckily, she didn’t move around too much or Sasha would have accidentally caught Annie’s skin when she was zipping up her dress. She finished zipping up Annie’s dress before moving towards Historia to help her with her dress.
“Isn’t over the moon a bit much?” Annie sputters, her face was still red “I’m sure Marlow would be speechless after seeing you in your dress, Hitch. You haven’t seen each other for a while and only started dating recently. I wouldn’t be surprised if he faints after seeing you.” Annie says with a serious face
Hitch gushes and hugs Annie “You always know what to say” she cries. Annie only rolls her eyes while awkwardly patting Hitch on the back. Annie may not look like it, but she actually cares about Hitch.
Meanwhile, the other girls had their dresses on and were busy taking mirror selfies with Sasha’s mirror to send to their significant others (Mikasa and Hanami also took part; although they are both single). Hitch notices and lets go of Annie. She puts her hand on Annie’s back and pushes her to the rest of the girls to join in.
“Ymir is going to love this,” Historia praises herself after Annie joins the group and takes more mirror selfies. She switches the camera to the front camera and raises her arm to take a few group selfies. “And send” Historia sends the pictures to Ymir and then to the rest of the girls to keep for themselves.
“I wonder what Armin is gonna think?” Hitch says out loud and nudges Annie on the side. Annie rolls her eyes but still smiles because of Hitch. Hitch then looks up to find Sasha and Mina texting their significant others. She looks over to find Hanami walking around the room to check on the dresses. Mikasa is silently staring at the photos. She looked like she was in an internal conflict with herself to pick which one she would send to the receiving end. Hitch has a 99.9% guess it was Eren. It looks like Hitch is going to play matchmaker again. If it worked for Annie, then it would work for Mikasa. Sadly, Hitch is missing her partner in crime, Ymir, for this.
“Hey, Mikasa. Are you thinking of sending those photos to I don’t know, a certain someone, perhaps? I don’t know. Eren? Hitch asks with a cat-like grin and wiggles her eyebrows. “You’re one of the only girls in the group who is still single, and everyone knows about your crush on Eren, except for Eren himself!”
All the girls in the room sighed. Eren cares about his friends and family, but he is also pretty oblivious about Mikasa’s feelings. Eren is so focused on passing med school to be a doctor like his father that everyone thought he would stay single forever. Nevertheless, Mikasa still fell for how passionate Eren is to achieve his goal.
Mikasa flushes with embarrassment. Hopefully, no one noticed the old scarf with her stuff. Mikasa likes to keep the scarf with her because Eren was her first friend after moving to Kalokairi. She chooses not to wear it now because of the heat.
Mikasa quickly scans at the other girls in the room and spots Hitch’s next target. At least there’s someone who is also single to get Hitch off her chest.
“Say, Hanami, do you have any potential boyfriends in mind?” Mikasa asks casually to divert Hitch’s attention away from her. She doesn’t want Hitch to pull an Armin and Annie with her and Eren. She prefers not to have others meddle with her love life. Mikasa prefers for it to happen naturally (who knows how long that would take?)
Hitch gasps and runs over to Hanami while she is smoothening out her dress. Hitch grabs Hanami’s shoulders and starts shaking her back and forth. “Well, do you?” Hitch asks while shaking her. Hanami is the only other girl in the group (other than Mikasa) who is currently single.
“Nope. Definitely not me” she laughs and lightly pushes Hitch off of her “I’ve been busy too preparing for Sasha’s wedding and college. I mean I have talked to a few guys since I came back, but I was only flirting with them.” She pats Hitch’s shoulder and sits down on Sasha’s bed. She pulls her phone out of her bag and starts texting someone. Hanami occasionally flirts with guys every now and then. Dating would be nice, but it is not her biggest priority. Besides, she's been busy working alongside Jean for the wedding.
Hitch only hums and decides to not press her further (for now). She walks towards Historia who is sitting on a chest near the door while texting Ymir. Hitch had a plan in mind, and she needed someone to help. She calls her to Historia quietly and leans down to subtly whisper to her ear. She didn’t need Hanami or Mikasa to hear what she had to say.
Historia raises her eyebrow to let Hitch know she is listening.
“Normally I would ask Ymir to help me, but you’re my next best hope Historia” Hitch whispers to Historia. Hitch looks over the room and her eyes on the others to make sure they weren’t eavesdropping on their conversation.
Historia laughs quietly “I agree. What do you have in mind?”
“Well,” Hitch begins and looks at Mikasa who is now looking at herself in the mirror with Sasha and Mina. “We all know Mikasa and Eren should get together. It’s pretty obvious, and I’m positive I saw that old scarf sticking out of Mikasa’s luggage earlier.”
She turns her attention towards Hanami who joins the other girls. “Now as for Hanami, she’s a different case. She may or may not have accidentally spilled a few secrets to me when we went drinking with the girls one night. Now I know the perfect guy for her, but she’s too focused on Maid of Honor duties to notice. We just have to give them both a nudge if you know what I mean?”
Historia knew exactly what Hitch was implying and who the guy was. She had a suspicion about the two since high school, but she never pursued the idea. She leaned slightly towards Hitch while watching the others with her.
“If my guesses are correct. I’m going to assume it’s him right?”
“I think we are on the same page, Historia.” Hitch smirks “We just can tell either him or Hanami. You in?”
Historia holds out her hand for Hitch to shake. “Alright. I'm in.” They shake hands to confirm their agreement. It looks like this trip is going to get a lot more interesting than before.
Meanwhile, during Hitch and Historia’s secret conversation, Sasha stood behind Mikasa, Mina, and Hanami as they looked at themselves in the mirror. They were in their own little bubble admiring themselves in the mirror while ignoring the upcoming plan on the other side of the room.
“You did so well with these dresses, Sasha” Mina compliments Sasha for the second time that morning.
“We’re gonna look fabulous tomorrow,” Hanami says joyfully. Both Hanami and Mina caused Sasha to blush.
“Thank you. I just want the perfect wedding and I want my father to give me away.” Sasha leans down and lays her cheek on Mina’s head
“I hope you got yourself a wide aisle, Sasha” Mikasa smirks, causing Mina and Hanami to laugh. Sasha playfully slaps Mikasa’s back “I will know my father as soon as I see him.”
A knock interrupted the girls, and Niccolo enters the room. All of the girls turn to him.
“Niccolo!” the girls (minus Annie and Mikasa) scream as they open their arms for a group hug. Hitch and Historia came up with an idea and pulled the group to fall on Sasha’s bed with Niccolo
“Hey put me down” Niccolo laughs as he falls “I’m about to get married tomorrow. Can someone help me?” Annie and Mikasa help loosen the girls' grip on Niccolo and help him stand back up. Meanwhile, Sasha was laughing at her friend’s silliness. The rest of the girls stand up from the bed and move to stand in front of Niccolo
“So what do you think about the dresses?” Historia asks
“Niccolo, tell Annie that Armin is going to faint after he sees her in this dress!” Hitch complains and points at Annie
Annie lightly slaps Hitch on the head. “Knock it off, Hitch,” she says with a red face. The others were laughing at their antics.
“You all look beautiful” Niccolo laughs and compliments the girls “I’m sure Armin will faint after seeing you, Annie.”
“See! At least Niccolo agrees with me!” Hitch walks over to Niccolo and hugs him. She doesn’t care if the pins on her dress poke her body. At least someone agreed with her statement. She knows Annie well enough to consider herself as Annie’s best friend.
There was another knock on Sasha’s door and it opened again to reveal Jean and Eren.
“Eren! Jean!” Historia screams and runs to Jean’s arms. Mikasa smiles and walks to Eren.
“Hey Historia” Jean smiles and turns to Mikasa
“Hey Mikasa” Mikasa turn to him in Eren’s arm and smiles at him as well
Jean coughs lightly into his fist. He also had a small red tint on his face. “The guys missed you all”
“I was wondering what was taking you so long, Niccolo,” Eren states after hugging Mikasa. He noticed how her face was red, but didn’t want to push her by asking when everyone else is in the room.
“Sorry, Eren. I was busy talking to the other girls. Can you grab some of the stuff for me?” Niccolo lets go of Hitch and walks towards Sasha. He walks behind her and hugs her from behind. He kisses her cheek and the other girls gush on how cute he and Sasha are.
“Sure, Niccolo. Eren looks down at Mikasa in his arms “Can you help me, Mikasa? Who knows how much Jean would get done?” Eren rolls his eyes and smirks. Mikasa glances at Eren. ‘Maybe he knows something?’ She thought and plans to ask Eren about it later.
Niccolo looks down at Sasha “You have a good eye with the dress choice. bet you’ll look even more gorgeous in your wedding dress.”
“Well, I had Hitch help me too.” Sasha laughs “It’s nice to hear coming from the man who is also baking the wedding cake. I heard you let Annie help you as practice, right?” Sasha asks and raises an eyebrow
“She insisted on helping as practice for patisserie school. She wanted it to be a surprise, but someone (most likely Hitch) told you too early. I’m sorry about that” Niccolo raises an arm and scratches the back of his neck. He had a nervous face too.
Sasha loops her arms around Niccolo’s neck and leans up to peck on the lips. She looked into Niccolo’s hazel eyes as she spoke, “What did I ever do to deserve you? I’m glad you are okay with letting my friends play bigger roles than just bridesmaids. I can tell how happy they are to help.”
Niccolo grins like a boy in love “It helps us save money to go travel, and after-” Niccolo’s face contours to love “we can open a restaurant together”
Sasha smiles “Here?” she inquires
Niccolo kisses Sasha’s forehead and looks down at her “Wherever you want, Sasha. I love you too much that I would follow you to the ends of the Earth if you tell me too”
Now Sasha is smiling like a girl in love “I love you too, Niccolo.”
Meanwhile, Jean picks up a cowboy hat after hugging Historia. He walks to Niccolo and Sasha (while they are in their little bubble) and places the hat on Niccolo’s head. Jean then walks over to Sasha’s bed where Hanami is standing while she is busy typing on her phone. She didn’t notice Jean heading her way. Most of the people in the room were too busy with their own thing to notice. Historia and Hitch were the only two people to notice.
Jean stands next to Hanami and proceeds to rest his arm on top of her head. He slightly leans down to look at her, but he doesn’t look at her phone. Jean knows better than to look at someone’s business.
“Jean, knock it off. Go do that to someone else like Mikasa” Hanami says with an irritated tone in her voice and a red face. She swats her arm up in an attempt to remove Jean’s arm off her head. Jean put his arm back no matter how many times Hanami tried to take it off.
“Hmmm, I’d rather not. You’re short enough for me to be a good armrest ” Jean teases Hanami and puts his arm on her head again. The 11-inch difference is a fun thing for Jean to mess with Hanami with. It’s not his fault he had a huge growth spurt in high school.
“There are girls here who are shorter than me!” Hanami grumbles and gives up after a few more failed attempts. She is still red from embarrassment. She didn’t understand why he didn’t do that to Mina and Historia (Annie is out of the question unless you want to end up on the floor). Hanami just crosses her arms instead and frowns as Jean instructs Eren to pick up what’s left for the bachelor party. Hanami didn’t notice Historia and Hitch laughing to themselves after watching the whole thing going on. Mina slightly breaks off her conversation with Annie and turns to Historia and Hitch. Looks like someone noticed after all.
‘We’ll tell you about it later’ Historia whispers to Mina
“I got everything we need for the bachelor party Niccolo. We can go now.” Eren tells Niccolo and holds up the box of stuff. Sasha perks up and turns around in Niccolo’s arms to face him “Yes, you need to go. Us girls are very busy at the moment.”
Sasha proceeds to push Niccolo towards the doors. Jean (finally) takes his arm off of Hanami’s head and is still smirking at her irritated face as he leaves. Eren follows the two but turns around before heading out
“You look beautiful in that dress, Mikasa.” Eren compliments and gives the girls a two-finger salute before leaving. Mikasa blushes at his statement, and Sasha closes the door after all of the guys have left. The girls stood there, and their mouths were open with shock.
Hitch claps her hands to get everyone’s attention. “Ok, now that we know how great Mikasa looks in these dresses, thanks to Eren, let’s change so we can go to the beach later.” Hitch turned to Mikasa and Historia. “You brought your swimsuits, right?”
“Yes,” Historia says cheerfully. Mikasa was not as cheerful because she was still blushing after Eren’s compliment. Speaking of Eren, she is not letting Sasha run out without answering her question.
“Sasha, you did not answer my question from last time. Did you tell Niccolo about your fathers?” Mikasa asks as she begins taking off her dress. The other girls, except Historia, look at each other while helping each other get out of their dresses. It seems like they already knew the answer.
Sasha puts her hands on her hips. “No, because Niccolo would tell me to tell my mom.”
Mikasa was not going to let it down. “Hange is going to kill you when she finds out” she argues.
“I doubt Hange would pull a Levi on her only daughter. The worse she could do is break a table with a kick” Hanami chimes in while putting her clothes back on.
Of course, she must have read Hange’s journal too because she also found it with Sasha. All of the girls nodded in agreement. Hange loves Sasha too much to actually hurt her.
“Well it will be too late when Mom finds out,” Sasha says confidently and with a smile on her face
The others were already done changing, and they stared at Sasha again. They all had a worried look on their faces. Who knows what chaos would ensue when Sasha’s fathers arrive on the island?
Sasha, noticing the worry on her friend's faces, moves from her spot near the door and sits down on her bed. The others move to stand in front of Sasha. She looks up to her friends with a hopeful look on her face.
“All my life, I felt like something was missing, and when I finally met my father-” Sasha smiles at the thought of finally reuniting with her father. Sasha has never had an actual father in her life. The only person she can name who counts as a father-figure is Moblit, her mom’s assistant. He helped her Mom run the hotel and take care of Sasha since she was 2. Now, Sasha is going to finally meet her actual father “-everything will fall into place.”

Yes, I'm aware the title is not a song by ABBA. I plan on using older songs like 'Girls Just Wanna Have Fun' to chapters scenes where no one is singing in the movie. I hope you enjoyed this week's chapter! The plot will actually move in the next one, I promise. I may or may not have been smiling like an idiot when I wrote the Nicosasha scene lol. I kinda based it on how I want my future bf to be like. A girl can dream haha.
I’ve had that head as armrest thing happen to me before. I find it odd because I’m considered average height lol.
Mikasa’s great aunt I mentioned last chapter is Kiyoomi. I never said her name because I didn’t want to spoil anything
I remember an ask from @fanmoose12 blog asking about Jeankasa. The question is, is it endgame? 😏
Again, I hope y'all had a good Valentine's day. I hope you stay safe (if you are experiencing the winter storm)
Thank you so much for reading!

Chapter 4: Anima Extalia
Beginning | Previous | Next | Most Recent (That’s this! Hi!)
Tumblr media
Lucy sighed, stretching and flopping back onto her bed. The dress rehearsal – if you could call it that – had only gone for maybe an hour and consisted mostly of the crew running a few of the more complicated dance scenes and rubbing out a couple bumps in the cues, none of which Loke seemed interested in helping her learn. The Loke she’d met that morning was nowhere to be found, instead replaced with a nervous, twitchy, hyper-focused stagehand who was determined to pretend she didn’t exist. He hadn’t said a word to her, even when she asked him things.
“Which one’s the left spot again?”
Point.
“So you play guitar?”
Nod.
“When do you think Natsu will be back?”
Shrug.
That hour had seemed like an eternity, dragged out second by second with anxious glances and awkward coughs. It wasn’t a total loss, though. She’d been able to see first-hand why Jellal got the praise that he did. Most of the cast of Anima Extalia were adult actors who seemed very experienced, and Jellal matched their skill note for note and step for step. They had done a battle scene featuring some crazy aerobatics – the choreographer had called it capoeira – where Jellal had pulled some off some incredible flips and twists. She was kind of bummed the show was sold out, and based on the way Loke behaved it wasn’t likely she could watch from the sound booth.
Guess I’ll just have to try out for something, she thought. Probably the next musical.
With nothing else to do, Lucy wiggled her phone out of her tight pockets and unlocked it with a few quick taps. She was used to most of the notifications – a few spam and school emails, a new video from a YouTuber she liked, and suggested pins for her astronomy board weren’t out of the ordinary. To her surprise and delight, however, all of those lined up beneath six new texts from Levy.
I saw Natsu drag you to the sound booth. Nothing kinky going on is there? ;)
omg i can’t believe i said that plz don’t show him
Lucy?
Oh right probs busy learning sound booth stuff k nevermind
We hope you’re here to stay, Lucy! Welcome to Fairy Tail!
The last text brought tears to her eyes. Beneath the welcome message was an awkwardly thrown together group selfie, with Levy holding the camera and doing her best mock-Instagram face. Jet and Droy crouched next to her, grinning, while Cana leaned on them, pointing a finger gun and winking. Erza stood over Levy with her soft smile, and Gray stood just next to her, arms crossed over his chest and giving the camera a smirk. In the corner, she could make out the boxy shape of the sound booth, a blur of pink and a blur of blonde just visible in the fuzzy background.
Lucy grinned and rubbed a tear from her cheek. She let her thumbs dance over her keyboard while she tried to think of a good response. They really like me, she sighed. I’m in Fairy Tail, and they like me!
Her phone gave a buzz and she squeaked as her hands jerked in surprise, making her lose her grip on the slender piece of technology; she juggled it awkwardly for a second before it landed flat on the pillow next to her. She scrambled onto her stomach and flipped the vibrating phone over, grinning at seeing Natsu’s profile picture humming on the screen. She slid her thumb across the icon and put it to her ear.
“Hello?”
“Heya Luce!”
Lucy winced at the sudden noise, moving it a little further from her head. “Hey! What’s up?”
“Are you coming to the show?” he sang. She could almost see his toothy grin in the tone of his voice.
“It’s sold out, isn’t it?”
“Well yeah,” Natsu replied, “but you’re in the company now! You can watch from the sound booth with me!”
Lucy bit her lip. “Is that okay? I wouldn’t want to get in your way – it’s already pretty cramped with just two people up there.”
“You won’t get in the way,” Natsu chuckled, “Right Loke?”
She felt her breath hitch. Though she heard a faint “uh, sure” wobble on the other end, she knew the red-head was most certainly not okay with that. She wasn’t particularly fond of the boy, and certainly not of his playboy kind, but… he seemed genuinely afraid of her, and for no reason that Lucy could deduce. She didn’t want to make things worse if she could avoid it.
“No, it’s okay, Natsu,” she replied, “I should probably rest up – I’m a little woozy from all the action yesterday and today.”
“Aww, c’mon Luce! Is it cuz you’re afraid Loke will make a move on ya?” She heard Loke splutter something frantically. “Don’t worry, I won’t let him use a single pick-up line!”
“No, no,” Lucy laughed uncomfortably, “I just really need some rest.”
“Oh, okay.” Natsu seemed disappointed, but only for a moment before perking right back up. “I found a great role for you, by the way! I’ll tell you about it tomorrow, yeah?”
She smiled. “Sounds good!”
“Yosh! Ja na!”
“Bye!”
The screen turned black and she sighed. I’ll just have to miss this show, I guess. She rolled onto her back and picked up her phone again, humming as she decided what to do. She opened Instagram on a whim and flicked down to a random spot in her feed. It was another video posted by the school, bearing a very familiar face and a very familiar tag. She grinned.
I’d prefer to hang with him in person, but I guess this Salamander will do.
---
Gajeel really wasn’t one for theatre.
It was cheesy, weird, and straight up uninteresting. People prancing around on stage in frilly costumes, pretending to be things they’re not? And set to music? No, not really his thing at all.
Well, maybe that was a lie. He was in the Cosplay Club, after all.
But there was no way he’d ever admit the two things had anything in common. Cosplay was an art – a dedication to replicating a character so perfectly that it seemed they had stepped out of the world of fiction and straight into reality. Cosplaying a character was the ultimate testament to how incredible that character and their world truly was, and thus, being a cosplayer came with the heavy responsibility of making sure that character was done justice. It wasn’t this… thing, that played out on the stage in front of him.
He couldn’t really complain, though. Not since he was here on a date.
A second date, at that.
He leaned back further into his seat, scrunching down into his gray hoodie and tilting his head to look at the girl next to him. Sue was cute. She was at least a head shorter than him, with darker, tanned skin and forest green hair cut off at her shoulders. Now she wore a beige blouse and a short black skirt, but Gajeel much preferred her usual attire – a blue shirt with ripped sleeves and green cargo pants, along with an oddly adorable purple jester’s hat. He’d asked her out casually last week and they’d gone four-wheeling; when she asked him in return, this had been her suggestion.
He almost said no, but he actually kind of liked her.
He sighed, settling in for the show. The overture had finished, as well as the opening number – a solo by a guy in some weird ninja gear. Gajeel was pretty sure he’d seen him around school hanging with the other Fairy Tail dorks, which was a little bit of a surprise. Then again, all Fairy Tail had to work with was Fairy Tail, so maybe giving the title role to a teenager was the best they could do. Either way, the number was somewhat foreboding and left Gajeel with prickly discomfort itching at the back of his neck.
Sue gasped as the scene changed in a flash of smoke and a sheen of light. The eerie set the ninja dude had occupied was replaced with a multi-tiered stage painted as floating isles on a backdrop of a beautiful blue sky. Gajeel gave a smirk as Sue turned back, smiling, to see if he was watching. As soon as she looked back to the show he scrunched further into his seat. Maybe I can pick up some cosplay design ideas at the very least.
The show was pretty strange, in Gajeel’s opinion. Half the characters seemed to be humans from some post-apocalyptic magic-science hybrid country, and the other half were… cats? Cat people? Cat angels? Whatever they were, at least they weren’t furries. He had to admit the half-cat costumes were very well done, blending prosthetics perfectly into skin and avoiding the whole mostly-naked-with-body-paint deal that so often killed good animal cosplays. The rigging they used for some of the aerobatics attached to very well disguised harnesses with pretty impressive angel wings that seemed to be high quality animatronics. They’d somehow managed to get realistic tails as well, which moved and swished about like real ones instead of dangling limply or sticking out at awkward angles. Pretty cool, that. He made a mental note to scare the technique out of one of the stagehands later.
The main protagonist appeared to be a bluish cat called Shiawase, who, of course, was in love with a girl. Typical of musicals. The girl was a beautiful white cat called Charlotte who seemed to be a princess of sorts. From what Gajeel could tell, the two were just trying to elope while the humans warred with the cat people and it really wasn’t going well.
“Gajeel,” Sue whispered suddenly, pointing to Shiawase, “Isn’t that… Gray?”
Gajeel did the air equivalent of a spit take as he suddenly recognized the blue cat, sitting forward in his seat to study him with a squint.
“Sure is,” he chuckled. “Damn that’s a lot of makeup. Too bad he still looks like a twat.”
Sue gave him a pout. “C’mon, Gajeel, be nice. He helped you with the kanji on one of your katanas, didn’t he?”
“Tch.” Gray had been helpful that one time, being from Japan and all, but he was still a Fairy Tail dork.
As the show went on the story got more complicated. If Gajeel had cared, he would have found himself torn on which side of the war to get behind. The cat angels were some sort of tyrannical deities or the like, in which case he favored the humans, but the humans were merciless executioners who slaughtered their own kind as readily as they slaughtered the cats. As badass as that was, he couldn’t really get behind that either. Not that he was emotionally invested or anything. If he had to pick, he’d probably go with the humans – mainly because of the large, bulky black cat who had betrayed his kind to fight alongside them. Gajeel really didn’t care much, but that character was pretty neat.
The ninja guy from the beginning – Mist Can or something – was turning out to be kind of cool too. He was revealed to be the exiled prince of the human nation, swooping in to save the imprisoned cat protagonists right before intermission, and Sue bubbled over him through the entire break. Gajeel would have preferred to go get a snack, but… she was pretty adorable when she got all excited like that, so he didn’t mind too much. He’d lost track of most of the plot at this point, but he was actually sort of enjoying himself. Kind of. Maybe.
The entr’acte ended with a very mournful piccolo solo and the lights rose on the remains of a blackened forest. Charred branches scraped and clawed at the orange sky. Smoke effects drifted up in billows and the crackling of flames hummed in the silence. This was a totally different feel from when the show had begun. After another moment, the three main protagonists rushed onto the stage.
“W-wait,” Charlotte stammered, stumbling “I… I need to rest.”
“We cannot stop now,” the ninja man replied. “We have to get as far from the city as we can. It’s only a matter of time before my people use the Dragon Cannon.”
“There must be something we can do!” Shiawase cried. “We can’t just run away!”
“There is not,” he growled. He turned to continue the escape, cloak swishing behind him.
Shiawase rose to his full height, gesturing back the way they came. “You would just abandon your people? Your friends? You would turn your back as hundreds of innocents are murdered?!”
The man whirled around and ripped his veil from his face, storming up to the blue cat and leering over him. “I do not do so lightly, Exceed! May I remind you that it is your people who began this war?! That your kind have used us as slaves for centuries?!”
“That doesn’t change your cowardice! You’re running away, Mystogan! Running from your throne and your duty! It was not my people who made you this way!”
The two continued to argue as a harp plinked a note and the lighting around Charlotte changed tones. A tear ran down her face as she sang a pitiful, “Please, stop…”
“Stop?” Mystogan laughed as a bass tremolo hummed beneath him. In a darker tone he sang back.
“It is not I who slaughtered thousands.
Who killed children!
Who drove their slaves to madness!”
Shiawase picked up the melody, gesturing to the burning landscape.
“Do you think this is what we wanted?
Do you think this is the life we crave?
No, your Highness.
You’re wrong.
We may be at fault, but we tried to stop it!
It is you
who ran away.”
Mystogan stormed forward. “You speak of things you know nothing about,” he spat back.
Shiawase hissed. “And you run from people who need you!”
Mystogan’s voice took on a tone of fury.
“There’s naught I can do,
she’s doomed them all.
My people are dying, Exceed.
Our kingdoms have slaughtered each other!”
“We can end that,” Shiawase sang more insistently,
“We can end it all!
We can’t just save ourselves
we have to do something!”
Mystogan took a deep breath. “All you will do is die.”
Shiawase leapt at Mystogan, letting loose a vicious snarl. Gajeel raised an eyebrow in surprise. Damn, Gray, that was startlingly realistic.
“Please, stop…” Charlotte sang again.
Mystogan pushed Shiawase away and removed his staff from his back.
“We can’t fight like this…” she sobbed.
Shiawase took a fighting stance and the invisible rigging lifted him off the stage.
“I said STOP!”
The outburst from the white cat reverberated in the theatre. Her labored breath was the only sound heard in the room as she got to her feet. She stepped up to the unmasked ninja and looked him straight in the eye.
“I am sorry.” She intoned softly.
“I could have stopped this.
I could have tried harder.
Mother wouldn’t listen.
Couldn’t listen.
The blood of your people is on my hands.
We have both made grave mistakes
and cost innocents their lives.
Millions may yet die and it will be our faults.”
She paused and sighed before clenching her fists. When she began again, her voice was made of fire.
“But how dare you!
How dare you just give up?!”
Mystogan stumbled back a step, mouth dropping open slightly. Charlotte didn’t back down.
“This is your country, isn’t it?
Can’t you do anything without your throne?
Though it was all a lie
didn’t you try to live your best life,
protect your people where you could?!
Why are you giving up?!”
The air around Charlotte began to shimmer and slowly her feet rose off the ground. Mystogan stared up at her in awe.
“So what if you’re weak!
You’re not alone!
When weak things work together
Strength is born!”
As if by magic, Charlotte’s wings grew and turned iridescent. Gajeel’s jaw actually dropped – he could not fathom how they managed that.
“My country will not be destroyed!
It is my homeland!
It’s not going anywhere!
I will die before I abandon it!
And I will die before I let you abandon yours!”
In a burst of radiance and glitter her wings spread wide. The backdrop turned from burning orange to a smattering of stars as luminescent mist rose from the stage. She looked into the distance beyond the audience as she belted the last lines of the powerful refrain.
“I won’t give up!
I will stop this all,
or I will die trying!”
The rigging pulled her out over the audience at a startling speed, her wings and gown sweeping through the air in a dazzling blaze of light. The walls of the theatre suddenly became the night sky as she soared past, sweeping higher and higher until finally she was out of sight. In the near silence a single violin held a harmonic quietly as attention turned back to the stage.
Shiawase met Mystogan’s gaze with a stern resolve. Hesitance flitted in the man’s eyes, and the cat extended his hand.
“Are you coming?”
The violin dwindled to nothing. Gajeel suddenly realized he was holding his breath.
With purpose, Mystogan took the hand.
Shiawase smirked. Suddenly, the bass of EDM rumbled from beneath the seats, setting up a slow build. A chill shot down Gajeel’s spine and he exchanged amazed looks with Sue.
“Hold on!” Shiawase hooked his arm under Mystogan’s and gripped his wrist with both hands. The call of distant bagpipes echoed in the room on top of the building music. The two men took a few steps back. Shiawase flicked his wings out wide. The music grew as the bagpipes seemed to get closer. Mystogan nodded. Shiawase smiled. Then, they sprinted and leapt off the stage.
The scoring roared into a variation on the main theme at twice the speed it had been sung; Shiawase took off over the crowd, carrying Mystogan higher in a maelstrom of light and fire. Gajeel’s mouth hung open in awe as the audience let out whoops and whistles. Mystogan’s not wearing a harness. Is Gray… legitimately carrying him?
The two made a few more circles of the audience, the walls of the theatre – which Gajeel had figured out were screens – providing a continuous backdrop that gave the illusion of distance. As the music came to a close, they landed back on the stage, now a broken battleground of a city.
This was where Gajeel suddenly felt very, very strange.
“Cougairis!” Mystogan shouted. The scene was a blur of motion, cats and humans in combat in every conceivable space. Actors had spawned miraculously in the aisles near the stage and on one of the side balconies. That combined with the flash of explosions and the clang of swords made the battlefield come to life. He was surprised he could still easily focus on the main characters despite the chaos.
“Cougairis! I need your help!” Mystogan called again.
The man in question was forced onto the stage, locked in combat. This was the cat that he’d liked. The panther held back three other cats with his giant blade, fighting for control as they pushed their swords against his own. With a roar that Gajeel was sure just had to be recorded, the giant cat shoved his adversaries backwards, two falling off the front of the stage and out of sight. The last stumbled back, gripping his side painfully before crumpling to the floor in a heap.
The black cat turned to face Mystogan, and Gajeel froze.
Over Cougairis’ left eye was a slash; a deep, thick, raw slash that hadn’t been there in the first act.
Gajeel’s head throbbed and his heart pounded, chest tightening until all he could manage was a raspy pant. The edges of his vision grayed. Wha…? What’s happening?
“Gajeel?” He heard Sue whisper his name, but it sounded as though it were a thousand miles away. “Gajeel, are you okay?”
He lifted his hands and felt them tremble wildly as his eyesight shrunk to a pinpoint. He could hardly see, hardly feel. His long, wild hair fell over his shoulders as he tried to shake away whatever was doing this to him. He could no longer register Sue tugging at his arm in worry.
What…? Is this one of those… panic attack things? He couldn’t think of any reason he would have a panic attack – he’d never had one before and didn’t have any traumatic experiences that he could think of. It can’t be a panic attack. Why would a play give me a panic attack?
He looked back to the stage. His tunnel vision centered back on Cougairis. He tried to look away, to any other character, any other piece of set, but the cat’s scarred face seemed to fill his view. That scar. That black fur. That white muzzle. Something seemed to be stabbing his brain at every angle and yet he could not tear away from that face. Suddenly the cat looked out into the audience – looked right at him. As if being shot through the heart his breath stopped, and somewhere in the deepest recesses of his mind, he heard his own voice.
I’m taking you back to my guild one way or the other! And then, I’m going to make you my cat!
---
Gray watched from the shadows as Elfman strode to the front of the stage, their one and only child actor, Violet, perched on his shoulder. The audience roared and whistled as the large black cat set her down and she gave a small curtsey. Incredible, for a third grader, Gray smirked. I hope she sticks around.
The curtain call had always been one of Gray’s favorite parts of a show. Especially the final curtain call, on closing night. Molding yourself into another character was a huge, exhausting effort, and sometimes it was difficult to let go and become oneself again after rehearsal. The final curtain call, Gray felt, was an effective way to bridge the gap between being the character and living his own life. The audience, just for that final scene, now acknowledged you as both the role and the actor. In a way, it was a moment where he could be both people at once.
The music changed from Cougairis’ theme to that of Shiawase and Charlotte. Gray straightened his moss green, one-sided shawl over his bare shoulders and strode out from behind the curtains. From the other side, Charlotte – or perhaps now he should say Laurissa – strode out to meet him, a spring in her step as she took his hand. Renewed whistles and shouts rose from the house as they approached the edge of the apron, and just as they had done for every curtain call, Gray pulled her in for a kiss before they took their last bow. It had been her idea, of course, and the audience ate it up like free salsa at a Mexican restaurant. He and Laurissa weren’t romantically involved, but the reaction from the crowd was something they could both get behind.
The two parted as the music changed again, gesturing extravagantly as the star of the show took the spotlight. Mystogan rushed forward, twirling his staff several times before planting it solidly and whipping off his veil. The crowd screamed, applauding wildly and jumping to their feet. Gray clapped just as fiercely – not just for the performance, but for the grin spreading slowly over the blue-haired boy’s face. He knew that grin. The sage-prince Mystogan was gone; Jellal was back.
The company linked their hands and took their final bows as the music finished, and for the last time on that show, the curtain dropped.
“Excellent work, everyone!” Director Dreyar joined the scene from backstage, a toothy grin peeking from behind his mustache. “Very good indeed! A show well worth the effort! Head on home and we’ll strike the set tomorrow evening!”
“And don’t forget, the cast party is on Friday!” Mirajane added. The group bubbled into an energetic hum, matching the chatter of the audience just beyond the curtain. Hugs and claps on the back passed around along with laughter and the repetition of various inside jokes. Gray was happy – sometimes the afterglow of a performance was just as good as the show itself.
“Gray!” He twisted around to find the source of the call. Jellal waved him over. He grinned.
“Good to have you back, Jellal,” Gray replied. They did an elaborate fist-bump.
“It’s good to be back,” Jellal sighed. “At least, for a bit. King Oberon’s not a very complex character, so I won’t have to get into him for another couple weeks.”
“I’m sure Erza’s happy about that,” Gray nudged playfully.
Jellal blushed. “You could say that.”
“MYSTOGAN!” Gray turned just in time to dodge Elfman barreling through the crowd. The burly teen clapped Jellal hard on the back, and Jellal looked like he might’ve had the wind knocked out of him. “Your performance! OTOKO DA!”
“Thanks,” the blue-haired boy coughed. “You can call me Jellal now, though.”
“Oh, right,” Elfman chuckled. He turned to Gray. “Gray! You coming to Angie’s with us?”
Gray was tempted to say yes. He really wanted to. But he wasn’t sure if he’d make it that long.
“No, I gotta head home,” he replied. He rubbed the back of his neck. “Homework, y’know?”
Elfman gave him a funny look. “Homework? How? Today was literally the first day of school.”
Gray gulped. “Japanese stuff, y’know? Have to prep for tutoring.”
“Mmmm zannen da ne…” Elfman hummed.
“Yeah, that’s too bad,” Jellal continued. He didn’t look as convinced as Elfman was.
“Yeah…” Gray trailed off. He glanced between the two nervously, but tried to continue as if nothing were strange. “I should probably head out, actually. It’s pretty late and I really gotta get started.”
Jellal nodded, though his eyes still flickered with doubt. Gray gave a slight wave and sauntered away as confidently as he could, despite the knot in his stomach.
He made a short stop by the dressing room to pick up his things and drop off his shawl, his wings, and a few of the smaller accessories. The majority of his costume had been body paint and various prosthetics, so there wasn’t much he had to return to the company – there wasn’t much he had to wear on his way home, either. Body paint wasn’t a fun stain to get out of clothes, and he certainly didn’t want to scrub it out of his favorite jacket.
He made his way out the back to the rear parking lot, the night air chilling his bare chest. The cold didn’t bother him much – he was a hockey player, after all – but he was glad he’d come extra early to school to snag the closest spot. He clicked his key fob and the lights of his Chrysler 300 flashed. No one else had left yet; traffic was clear.
The ride home passed in a haze, as it always did. A turn here, a traffic circle there, the wonky tree on the end of the block followed by the gas station. He pulled into the dark driveway of his small, blocky house. No lights were on; his roommates were likely asleep. Good.
He locked his car by hand so it wouldn’t make a sound, then slipped inside as quickly and quietly as he could manage. A fan was on in the entryway, blowing softly against his bare chest. He cursed silently. His roommates wouldn’t have known better – he’d never said anything, never even gave a hint. At least, he was pretty sure he hadn’t. He wasn’t really sure if that was actually a good thing.
Just get to the shower, he thought. Get the paint off. You’ll be fine. Only a few more minutes.
He left the lights off as he made his way through the house, familiar enough with his home not to bump into anything in the dark. He figured most normal people could do that, could walk through their own house in the dark. This wasn’t strange. He was normal, too. Completely normal. Other people had sudden adrenaline jumps, right? It was nothing. Normal people occasionally had their heart start beating out of control, too, right? He was fine. He would be fine. This was normal.
Gray wasn’t sure he was being so stealthy anymore – blood pounded in his ears and he could hardly breathe, let alone tell if anyone else was awake. It was fine though. He shut the bathroom door behind him and ripped off the last of his prosthetics. It stung; the glue was particularly strong on his face. It didn’t matter though. If he was bleeding, he’d find out later. He couldn’t tell if he had cuts without the lights on.
His hands fumbled with the shower handles, shaking more than he would’ve liked. The water spattered for a moment before coming in a steady stream. Good. Warm. Paint. Take the paint off. He kicked off the last of his clothes. Steam. Hot water, sliding over his skin. Peeling away the paint. Not fast enough.
The blue skin of his character fell away, and left behind was only Gray.
Gray, and her.

The Seal pt 20: Sorcery
{ Chris: [bio] [Prologue] [Story in Tumblr] [ AO3 Link From Beginning ]
Levi let me sneak into his room to get some peace. Solomon was going to be coming over and I'd spent most of the night before discussing some things with Satan. I hadn't seen Mammon yet since we'd made out, and I wasn't sure how to take that. So I'd convinced Levi to let me bring in a giant beanbag to relax in and I was planted in it as we watched one of his shows, the door firmly locked from his brothers.
"I can't believe you let Mammon use that pic as his wallpaper." Levi muttered, glancing over at me. I hummed a question, glancing up at him where he was sitting in his tub... Bed? I frowned, not understanding, and he motioned vaguely towards the scene on the screen. The two main characters had taken a selfie together, with one kissing the other on the cheek. That picture!
"So that's what he did with the pic, I wondered when he didn't post it on Devilgram." I shrugged, then paused, taking a moment to watch Levi for a moment. I could feel the emotion rolling off of him. Envy. It didn't take me long to connect the dots with this one. I smiled and pulled myself up next to him, using the edge of the tub to haul myself up and grinned at him. "Did you want a selfie together, then?"
"Wh-what? Why would I want something like that, it's such a normie--" He started, but I just kept smiling at him as I pulled out my DDD and set the timer.
"Well, I want a selfie, if that's cool." I knew it would be judging from the way his envy eased a little bit. I leaned towards him, holding it up and he was blushing, still faux-protesting a little bit. Looking at the view of us in the camera, I noticed he was too far away [he wasn't even looking, too embarrassed I guessed] and hummed. "Budge up nerd, I'm hopping into the tub for this."
He went even redder at that, talking about "Wh-why would you...", but he did indeed make some room, letting me crawl in in front of him and perch between his legs, leaning into him to get a good shot. It took a couple attempts, but after a moment, I had a decent one, where he'd leaned forward to rest his chin on the top of my head. He looked slightly annoyed or flustered, but there was enough hint of a smile.
"I like this one. You look cute in it." I tilted my head up, smiling at him and holding up my DDD. I had thought the envy would ease with a good photo, but as he stared down at me [not the phone, just me], it swelled again. He wasn't even looking at the pic. Frowning, I turned around, climbing into his lap to get even with him. He was going red, but he wasn't stopping me, either. He was just staring, slightly flustered, as I placed my hands on his chest to prop myself up. "Did you want it to a be a nerdy selfie? Or are you pouting cause you wanna go to the human world?"
He didn't answer, but I felt him huff when I called him out on his pouting. I huffed right back at him. [Since the pact with Satan, I felt myself getting easily annoyed at things, this behaviour included.] "Levi, if you want something specific, ya gotta tell me."
Still no answer, but I glanced down when I felt his tail curling around my waist. Something I realized he did when he was nervous or upset. I understood the social anxiety that made it hard to ask for even really silly things. And Levi had moments where he didn't even understand we were friends. And that was a feeling I understood too. So I waited for him to figure out what to say. Or tried to.
Both of our phones chimed with a text message and I lifted mine to take a peek at it. [Aaand a spike in envy.] Solomon was on his way upstairs. It wasn't going be too much longer before he was here. I sighed and tossed my phone onto the beanbag I'd been sitting in before. "I'm posting the one I took. If you want something else, you're gonna have to let me know, okay? But for now, it looks like Solomon's here. I'll get the door."
His tail squeezed around my waist briefly. A little too tightly, the hit of envy with it making it clear he didn't want to share my attention, even though he considered Solomon a friend too... But then his tail loosened and he helped me out of the tub, still a little red and muttering something under his breathe, but no longer simply pouting as if I was supposed to know. Now I just had to hope that Solomon wasn't going to be a vague shit today. I couldn't promise I wouldn't get snappy with him. [I was still figuring out how much to trust him with.]
"Who's there~" I called through the door as someone knocked, already knowing the answer. He was halfway through saying his name when I opened the door and grabbed his arm, pulling him in with a grin. I was glad he'd come as I'd asked, but there was a weird mix of energy hitting me and made me want to tease him a bit. "Get in here mage boy."
Solomon blinked for a moment at the sudden yank, but smirked, raising an eyebrow. "Mage boy?"
I just shrugged at him, I was gonna let him decide how to take that. His hand lingered on my arm even when I let go of him, following me as I plopped down on the giant beanbag, digging through the bag I'd brought up with me and trying to decide what to ask him about first. There was the letter in Latin (which I hadn't asked Satan about because I worried whether he'd be upset I'd hid something from Grisella from him or not), or the pendant that had that sigil I didn't recognize, or the spellbook itself. Maybe the letter? It might have an answer to the rest, I was pulling it out when Solomon sat down next to me, looking at my hands, and spoke.
"I heard you made another pact." He sounded somewhere between impressed and amused. I glanced up and nodded at him, smiling. "Satan this time, Asmodeus tells me."
"Yea!" I said. And the at the sound of the Avatar of Lust's name, I sat up, holding up the small notebook I'd copied the letter onto and the annoyance hit me from yesterday. "Which reminds me! He was under the impression that I was making all of my pacts through sex, apparently! Has Asmo been saying that?"
"You haven't been?"  Solomon blinked at me again. He looked surprised this time. Oh gods. Seriously?
"No! Levi! Please! Tell him!"  I rolled my eyes and looked over at Levi, who was bright red. And felt. Envy. Practically rolling off of him. But in a strange state because-- He was pouting and not looking over at me and it took a moment for him to say anything.
"Assumed you did with Asmo at least." He paused, and sounding slightly annoyed, added. "And would've explained why Mammon is so clingy with you-- And you stayed in Beel's room so long..."
"For fuck's sake!" I threw up my hands, starting to get pissed at this point. "Did none of you listen to my whole 'not getting involved' bullshit? Y'all are walking fucking thirst traps and I'm here keeping my hands to myself and somehow you're all. What? Thinking you're the exception to me sluttin' it up? Even Diavolo thought--" I cut off the sentence with a 'tsk', needing to take a moment to calm myself down.
"To be fair, Chris, you would be the very first human Asmo has made a pact with that he hasn't had sex with." Solomon's voice was calmly amused. I had still been looking at Levi and he nodded in agreement. And I turned to look at the other human, my cheeks pink and realized that he'd made the assumption based off experience. "Most demons expect you to indulge in their... Sin with them as a pact of the pact."
And the image of those two in bed together, naked as sin, sweaty, limbs all tangled, and -- And Asmo had been trying to share him with me the moment he thought I liked Solomon. And he went on about having standards and my cheeks were definitely getting warmer. I could feel the heat up to my scalp at this point. I looked back at Levi and well. At least his envy had eased a bit with the realization that I hadn't slept with Asmo, it seemed. Which that annoyed me a bit.
"Well, apparently none of my demons have been telling me this shit." None of them told me shit and I felt the hit of envy blossom through me at the fact that Solomon fucking knew all of this and I had pacts with now five demons and barely any knowledge. And Levi finally met my eyes at that, a little flash of colour sparking across his eyes that told me that he'd felt that. I sighed. "If it makes you feel any better Levi, if I change my mind, I'll let you know so you can decide if you wanna fuck too."
I was mostly being sarcastic with that because I didn't plan on having sex with any of them any time soon (the thing with Belphegor was a slip that I was not counting, especially since it might've been a dream). I didn't expect to feel the ease of envy so strongly. I knew he got very jealous about Asmo and thinking he was so much more attractive and all. It must be something to do with that? I sighed and turned my attention to Solomon again, keen on changing the subject, holding out the notebook to him.
"'Your demons'?" He teased me. Maybe it was bad phrasing. Especially since technically we shared one.  But that wasn't the point and he knew it. My glare must have been somewhat working, because he took the notebook from me with only a small chuckle, opening it up and skimming through the pages.
"Can you help me translate that?" I'd copied the letter, in a mish-mashed version, mixing in some sentences from some [benign] latin book I'd found in Satan's room that he'd agreed to let me borrow. I remembered what order the sentences I needed were in, and it probably wouldn't make sense, which was why I'd even decided on a cover. "I got it as--"
Before I could even finish, Solomon sighed, closer the notebook and lowering it to his lap, staring at me. He didn't look as amused as he usually did. "Where's the actual thing you want me to translate?"
He definitely sounded more annoyed this time. And I frowned back at him, considering what to tell him, I could continue with the lie, try to argue, push further, but I wanted to know and-- "I could probably figure it out, considering the dialects used here are all over the place, but that would mean sorting through the bits that are clearly there just to obfuscate the real message. Like this one that is just a series of subclauses..."
Clearly, that was a bad idea. I sighed, and reached into my bag to pull out the letter, the seal now broken, and handed it to him. He nodded, looking less annoyed at me for not having bothered trying to lie, and he hummed.
"So?" I asked him hopefully. He glanced up, turning it over to look at the seal.
"Who gave this to you?" He asked, his voice calm. I wanted to argue. That wasn't part of what we'd agreed on at all. He gave me a look that told me that there wasn't much point to that and I sighed.
"A witch named Grisella gave me a bag when I was up in London. That letter was in it, along with some other things. The rest of it looks like standard witchy stuff but the letter had my name..."
"Because it's addressed to you." He paused, and hummed again, glancing down at it. "Was she the seer that was fond of the brothers?"
I glanced at Levi, who was hanging over the edge of the tub now, trying to peek at the letter over Solomon's shoulder. He didn't seem worried about that information, so I simply nodded. Another thoughtful pause as he glanced down at it before he started reading.
"'I don't know how your magic was locked away. But I know ways of unlocking it. I do not know which one will be the key, but I have a feeling you'll enjoy some of them. Your greatest boon in all of these are those whose marks connect you.'" He paused and looked up at me thoughtfully, "The phrasing on that is a bit strange, because it's not 'the pacts you've made', but 'those whose marks connect you'. Which still means the pact marks, but..." He shrugged and read the rest. "'You will have to trust more. They will not leave --'"
I snatched the letter from Solomon. I didn't like the direction where that was going. He let me, though, watching me instead. I wanted to know what the rest said, but I was afraid to ask him. It had started veering into something I didn't want to explain to him. I sighed, stuffing it into the bag and pulling out the spellbook and the pendant.
His eyes were immediately drawn to the pendant, reaching out to cradle it carefully with one hand, letting me keep hold of the chain as he held it up to inspect it. I couldn't really read his expression, but the closest I would guess would be awe. Or maybe surprise?
I knew he'd recognize it. I just didn't know what it was and-- And he slipped the chain from my hands and was undoing the clasp and I started to reach out to take it back when -- "Turn around, let me put it on you."
I hesitated, nervous and not liking the idea of someone putting jewelry on me, but... But I did as he asked, holding my hair out of the way and trying to watch him out of the corner of my eye. "The note said this was for you. It's like a lesser version of my ring."
The ring -- the seal -- I froze, turning towards him a bit more as the metal touched my skin. I felt envy spike from Levi from where he sat in the tub, but I couldn't look over at him yet. "Your ring?"
"It was how I was able to form all my pacts. Verbal pacts like you've been doing work on the brothers because they have to honor them. But lesser demons... They have to rely on your power more. And the seal, and this, the lesser key, act as... Buffers I suppose. You don't have to feed them." He clasped the necklace and kept his hands on my neck for a moment, the touch making me shiver. I glanced over at Levi and he was watching. Still with that feeling I didn't know how to read [was he envious of Solomon or me?], before I turned back to Solomon, confused.
"Feed them?" I asked.
"On your soul. Duh. Lesser demons can get... Used up by a pact if they don't feed." It was Levi who answered, staring at the pendant. I turned towards him and held it up for a moment for him to see, letting it fall back down when he made no move to touch it. He did reach out to touch my chest next to the pendant when I let it lay, though. "That's why none of us mentioned the whole... Indulging thing."
He did turn a little pink at talking about indulging and his fingers brushed the pendant and his true form flickered over the guise like Satan's had when he'd touched the seal on my stomach, the touch of his claws causing me to shiver a little. He pulled back and looked a bit guilty, but I didn't address it. The last time I'd seen his true form had been when he'd tried to attack me, after all.
I glanced at Solomon. "You called it the lesser key?" He nodded.
"It's actually called a geotic circle, I don't know if it's the actual key itself, but it should let you perform some very rudimentary magic using some of the energy from your pacts." I frowned. That concerned me. I didn't want to use the guys' magic without permission.
"The energy from the pacts?" I asked him, glancing down at the pendant and rubbing it between my thumb and forefinger anxiously. "I don't want to take advantage of the guys or drain them or anything..."
He waved his hand in dismissal at the idea, shaking his head. And he started explaining it as best he could. Though it took a moment for me to understand since I had no base to work from. So he compared it to chemistry. The pact itself made energy that could be used for magic. Not a lot, with my powers locked away, but perhaps enough to unlock that power.
And Solomon seemed so excited about the idea. The hypotheticals seemed to pull in Levi enough to finally take an active part in the whole thing, making references to TSL and some of the anime I'd watched with him to help me understand what they were trying to tell me. We didn't even get to the spellbook, either. Simply the theory of it all for the next few hours.
Until Levi kicked us out so he could do his raid in peace. [I thanked him with a kiss on his head for that.] And Solomon left for the night for his own reasons, quickly jotting down the rest of Grisella's note for me to read to myself. [I didn't thank him for it, as I was far too embarrassed to do so.] But I was going to read it later. My hand drifted towards my stomach, making me wonder if the seal was the reason I'd been able to make the pacts at all.

FOUR YEARS - YEAR TWO | “June 21st, 2015″
The First Year | January 5th, 2015 | February 9th, 2015 | March 24th, 2015 | April 17th, 2015 | May 7th, 2015 | June 16th, 2015
a/n: I hope you enjoy reading about the newlyweds at Harry Potter World!
June 21st, 2015
My mind entered back into the world of reality when I felt a gentle nudge against my back. Trying my best, I pushed away the hand that kept pushing me and when it wouldn’t stop, I rolled over to face it.
“C’mon sleepyhead,” Jamie whispered, his lips a breath away from mine. “It’s Harry Potter day!”
Mumbling something that sounded like a mix between, “I’m too tired,” and “Go away,” I rolled over on to my face to shut out the light that was streaming in through the window.
“Sassenach,” Jamie said, sitting down beside me and laying a hand on my arse, “I ken yer tired… that’ll be the jet lag. But there’s a butterbeer in it for ye if ye get up.”
“Butterbeer?” I said into the pillow.
“Aye, hot butterbeer, cold butterbeer, however ye like it, mo nighean donn. But ye have to get up!” Jamie smacked my arse and I jumped. With a deep sigh, I sat up slowly, rubbing my hands over my eyes.
“That’s step one,” Jamie smirked, and I looked over at him, standing at the end of the bed with a towel around his waist. My mouth watered at the sight, and I wanted nothing more than to tear it off him.
“When did you take a shower?” I asked, putting both feet over on the side of the bed.
“After I got back from the gym.”
“Bloody hell, Jamie.” I laughed, “It’s our honeymoon for one and we only got in yesterday afternoon… how did you manage to wake up early?”
“Jet lag has the opposite effect on me, Sassenach. I dinna feel tired at all!” He practically sang as he went back into the steamy bathroom to change.
“Sodding hero,” I muttered to myself as I bent to pick up my clothes for the day. It was both of our idea to come to the Wizarding World of Harry Potter for our honeymoon rather than some isolated beach hut in the Caribbean. And while I was extremely excited to spend the day at Universal Studios and then three days at the parks at Disney, I was very much looking forward to the last leg of our honeymoon just relaxing at our hotel.
Jamie had somehow arranged for us to have the Presidential Suite at the Four Seasons Resort. The giant king sized bed was part of the reason I was struggling to get up and ready this morning.
I knew coming to Orlando at this time of the year, summer, was possibly the stupidest idea… especially since Jamie and I were not accustomed to the heat. I grabbed my high waisted black Levi’s and paired it with my favorite Hufflepuff t-shirt I had ordered online a few years ago. If we were lucky, we wouldn’t do too much damage in the shops today.
Twenty minutes later, both Jamie and I were ready to start the day. It was about an hour later than I wanted to start, but we would still have plenty of time to get everything done. Jamie had grumbled when I told him to pack shorts for the trip, insisting that he would be just fine wearing his jeans. But when he stood at the door of our room, waiting for me to leave, I noticed his white scotsman legs poking out of a pair of denim shorts.
“Dinna say anythin’, Sassenach,” He smirked, his cheeks and ears turning bright pink.
“I won’t!” I threw up my hands, “I won’t.” He kissed me deeply before lightly smacking my bum and sending me out the door.

When we finally got through the massive queue, and made our way to the entrance of Diagon Alley, I was speechless. Before you even entered, there was the purple night bus from The Prisoner of Azkaban, and then you could see Sirius Black’s house with Kreature peeping through the window. Jamie held my hand as we walked through the brick wall that led into Diagon Alley and I’m pretty sure he had tears in his eyes.
“Are you crying, Jamie?” I smiled, squeezing his hand and cupping his face with my hand. “You’re so cute.”
“Aye, maybe I am cryin’ a wee bit,” he sniffed. “I read the books growing up and of course watched the movies. It’s just…”
“Magical,” I finished.
“Exactly, Sassenach. Magical,” he kissed me and then we made our way down the long alley, taking everything in.
It was just how I pictured it would be. And I truly felt like I was in the movie — everything was so authentic. It didn’t take us very long before we ended up in one of the shops, looking at the robes and different memorabilia.
I let Jamie look through all of the Gryffindor stuff while I browsed the Hufflepuff section. The robes did look quite enticing, but not for one hundred dollars, so I quickly put that back on the rack. There were lots of little trinkets, from gloves, hats, bookmarks and even ornaments. Journals, sweaters, quidditch gear and replicas of just about anything you could ever want from the movies.
There wasn’t anything that I wanted from the Hufflepuff section, already satisfied with my own shirt I was wearing, but a sweater near the door caught my eye. It was just like the handmade knit sweater that Mrs. Weasley gave to Harry for Christmas, with a big ‘H’ on the front. The price wasn’t terrible… and this was our honeymoon.
I walked back over to Jamie, sweater in hand, knowing he would make fun of me for picking out something I couldn’t even wear for several months. He was easy to spot, standing at 6 foot 4, with fiery red hair — looking at the Gryffindor robes.
“I doubt they have one big enough for you,” I smirked, coming to stand beside him.
“Och, they don’t.” He laughed, “I already looked.”
“Then why are you still staring at it?”
“Well… ye might think me silly for it,” he said softly, sheepishly looking down at me.
I pinched his side and he squirmed out of my touch. “What?”
Jamie reached for a robe, a small child sized robe and held it up. “I was only thinkin’, what if got one for our bairn?”
“Our child that we don’t even have yet?” I looked up at him and then back at the robe, “Might never have.”
“I told ye it was silly,” he started to put the robe back on the hook, but I stopped him, grabbing his hand.
“It’s not, Jamie. It’s very sweet.” I smiled and stood on my toes to kiss him. “That’s a very lovely idea. An expensive one, but lovely nonetheless.”
“Really? Then are ye okay with gettin’ a Gryffindor robe for the wee thing? I ken ye might prefer the Hufflepuff, but Sassenach… yellow?” He grimaced and I couldn’t help but laugh.
“Yes, it’s fine. I’m sure our child will possess all the stubborn, brave qualities that a Gryffindor has anyways. Let’s get it!” Jamie kissed me again, his smile wide and his teeth clashing against mine. I loved to see him so happy, I would honestly do anything for him to see him so. He had helped me through the darkest time of my life, and I promised to myself to see that he was happy and well loved for the rest of his days because of it.
++++++
After we bought the sweater and little robe, we ventured back out to the alley, taking a look at everything else. There was a ride in Gringotts bank that was incredible, and thankfully the line wasn’t too long - for once - and so we managed to ride it twice. My stomach was rumbling as soon as we got off the ride the second time, which was our queue to find the Hogwarts Express and make our way to Hogsmeade to eat at the Three Broomsticks.
Jamie cried at the entrance of Diagon Alley, but I cried when we stepped onto Platform 9 ¾. The train was just as it was in the movie, red and beautiful and magical all in one. We boarded the train and I settled into Jamie, his arm wrapped around me. The tears came when we started moving and the window to our left showed the trip to Hogwarts castle.
“Dinna cry, Sassenach.” Jamie wiped a tear from my cheek, smiling. “Tis no a scary train,” he laughed and I nudged my elbow into his side.
“Shut it, Fraser.”
“Okay, Mrs. Fraser,” Jamie said, and kissed me on the lips much to my objection because I didn’t want to offend the sweet elderly couple sitting opposite us.
The first thing we did was line up to get food, and when we stepped inside, my heart leapt for joy. The restaurant felt like I had come home. It was cozy, with tall ceilings and magical elements all around. And I think I made an orgasmic sound when I took my first sip of butterbeer, getting the foam all over my upper lip.
“That’s a good look on ye, Sassenach,” Jamie laughed, pulling out his phone to snap a picture.
I wiped my mouth and then took another sip. “We haven’t taken any selfies of us! Let’s do it by the castle.”
“Aye, sounds like a plan. Now… eat up!”
++++++
The highlight of both of our days was definitely seeing the Hogwarts Castle in person. The way they built it made it feel like you were actually there, walking into the school. The ride was a bit scary, with spiders jumping out at you and dementors flying in your face, but I smiled the entire time, squeezing Jamie’s hand as tight as I could.
I think we were both thankful that Universal didn’t stay open too late, unlike Disney, because we were both spent. We hadn’t even ridden many rides, but just the feel of the park was overwhelming, because it was like all your dreams had come true.
Of course, we didn’t make it out of the park before each buying a wand. Jamie (the lucky bastard), was chosen in Ollivander’s wand shop, and got to do a demonstration just like Harry in the film, with the lights flickering and wind rising all around.
He ended up buying the wand that had “chosen” him, absolutely besotted with it, while I chose Hermonie’s wand. Jamie was like a little kid, moving it about while we walked to the car.
“Swish and flick,” he flicked his wand in the air and I couldn’t help but pull out my phone and secretly film him. He was never living this down.
“Sassenach, are ye really tired?” Jamie said the moment we got into the car.
I yawned in response, and then laughed, covering my mouth. “I suppose I am.”
“Och, I was hopin’ ye weren’t,” he said, starting the car.
“Why?”
“Well,” he looked over at me, one eyebrow raised. “I ken of a ride back at the hotel that I thought ye might like to have a go on?”
My cheeks blushed a deep pink, and I felt a deep burn in the pit of my stomach at his words. “I’m never too tired for that.”
“Ye’ll find it worth yer time,” Jamie smirked, pulling my hand to his mouth and kissing it.
Dear God… please let all the lights be green.
++++++
We had barely made it through the door before I had Jamie pinned to the wall. His hands were at the buttons of my shorts, and I pressed into his body, feeling the warmth radiating off of him. His mouth felt like fire on my neck, leaving wet kisses behind.
“I want ye so much I can scarcely breathe,” he sighed, sliding his hands up to cup both of my breasts over my t-shirt.
“Then have me,” I moaned. My hands were at his pants, unzipping and pulling them down as fast as I could. Jamie did things to me, made me feel things that set me on fire.
When the rest of our clothes were off and strewn on the ground, Jamie slid his hands over my arse and then lifted me around his waist, walking to the bed. I started to grind my hips against him, feeling his cock against my belly. He wanted me just as badly as I wanted him.
Keeping his promise, Jamie laid down on his back, letting me straddle him. I bent down, covering his body with mine and kissed him slowly, tasting his tongue with mine. I knew that there wouldn’t be a day that I wouldn’t crave him. My soul longed for his in every way possible.
“Mo ghraidh,” he said softly against my lips, pushing my hair back. “My wife.”
Placing another deep kiss on his lips, I leaned up, taking his cock into my hand. “My husband,” I said softly and then I guided him inside of me, sinking down slowly. Once I had accommodated his size, I placed both hands on his chest, moving my hips against him.
“Oh God,” he groaned, squeezing my hips with both hands. “Bein’ inside of ye…”
I began a steady rhythm, slowly raising up and then sinking back down on him, pushing deeper every time. “Christ,” I moaned, leaning my head back, my curls just brushing my back.
“Faster, Sassenach,” Jamie said, slapping my hip slightly. I gasped, looking down at him and saw a fire in his eyes. Biting my lip, I moved one hand behind me, placing it on his knee and began to move my hips faster, feeling his cock deep inside of me. It was almost too much, having him this way. I felt dizzy and light headed from it all, my belly burning and tightening with every thrust.
“Harder,” he moaned loudly, his head falling back into the pillows and I started to cry out as he bounced me on his cock, not from pain, but from how good it felt. I had felt pain before, had lived with a tumor in my head for months and gone through chemo and fucking survived. I’ll be damned if I wasn’t going to ride my husband with everything I had in me.
“Shit,” I sighed, feeling my orgasm overtake me and I couldn’t help but collapse on his chest as my body started to tremble. Jamie uttered several words in Gaelic before spilling himself into me, his breath hot against my head.
I was too spent to move, my legs sore from riding him and I didn’t particularly want to be separated from him anyways.
Jamie brought his hand to my back, his fingertips lightly grazing my skin, making goosebumps rise.
“Are ye happy, Claire?” He asked a little while later, and I shifted so that I could look at his face.
“Yes, of course I am,” I smiled, reaching my hand up to poke his nose. “How could I not be after… that.”
Jamie laughed, making my body shake on top of his. “Aye, tis good that I can serve ye well, Sassenach.” He moved his hand lightly over my shoulder blades while I stretched my legs out behind me, moaning slightly as I felt his cock still in me.
“I only asked because I ken that sometimes after people go through something like ye did,” he said quietly, his face turned to the ceiling, “maybe ye would want to leave behind yer old life, anythin’ that reminds ye of yer sickness.”
“It’s a little late for that, Jamie.” I held up my left hand with his ring on it. “Do you think I would do that? Leave you because you were part of my life before I got sick?”
He shrugged, then met my eyes. “I don’t think ye would, but I wanted to be sure.”
“Jamie… I’m glad you were in my life before the tumor. You were the good that came out of it.” I kissed his chest and he slowly rolled us onto our sides, cradling me to him. “I don’t know what happiness is without you.”
“Aye, me either, mo cridhe.” Jamie smiled, pressing his lips to mine. “I ken one day we will have a child of our own. It may take longer than we want, Sassenach. The child may not even be our blood, but one day.”
“One day, James Fraser. I promise you,” he pulled me closer, and I kept my legs wrapped around him.
I pressed my ear to his chest, and listened to the steady beat of his heart. Once I thought he had fallen asleep, I wiggled my way out of his grasp, easing him out from inside of me and climbed out of the bed.
As quietly as I could in the dark, I searched for my phone in my bag, and finally pulled it out. My screen had lit up with an email from the adoption agency I had inquired about just a week ago while we had been in the car on the way back to the hotel.
I took a look over at Jamie, still asleep with his hands over his stomach and then went into the bathroom, taking a seat on the edge of the tub. My heart started to race as I clicked on the email. Jamie and I had discussed adopting a child, but had only casually glanced at a website. I knew it was only the beginning of our marriage… literally, but I had friends who had been on the adoption list for five years. I hadn’t told Jamie that I had asked about putting our names on the list, only because I didn’t think they would respond so quickly, at least not before I had a chance to tell him.
Dear Mrs. Fraser,
We are pleased to say that you and your husband’s name have been added to the list of adopting parents! When there is a child that fits into your certain criteria, we will inform you on the next steps. There is no guarantee that this will happen quickly once your name has been added, but it’s the first step to expanding your family. We look forward to communicating with you and your husband and wish you all the best.
I read the email over several times. It wasn’t exactly big news, like, “Hey, there’s a baby for you to adopt, come and bring him home!” But it was news. A beginning. Taking a deep breath, I returned to the bedroom, quietly sliding back into the bed with Jamie. He stirred as I settled into his arms, his eyes opening.
“Where did ye go?” He said softly, smiling.
“Just to pee,” I kissed the tip of his nose and he grinned, wrapping both arms around my waist and pulling my body tight against his.
As soon as we woke up, I was going to tell him that our hopes of becoming parents was hopefully becoming a reality. With Jamie’s hand on my stomach, I drifted off to sleep — dreaming of spells and potions, babies and the start of our new life together.

DOTW 29 - Full
It was now the fifth day of their holiday and they off exploring the coast line in rented sedan. Zeke's ashes were in Eren's lap where the omega had been playing with the box they were in for the whole trip. Heading along the coast, they were driving towards where the terrain turned from the smooth beaches and into the steep cliffs. It would have been so much easier if Eren had just scattered the ashes at the waters edge, but his boyfriend didn't want people swimming through Zeke's remains, and when he'd put it that way, it was kind of gross. The idea of bits of Zeke washing onto the beach, and sticking in the sand... that was just, a whole lot of messed up. Having checked the tour guides and attraction pamphlets for the area, he'd found a spot called "The Blowholes". Shaped by thousands of years of erosion, small holes had formed in the cliffs, meaning when a strong wave hit, the water would be forced up the hole in a shooting stream. Even if it wasn't the best place to scatter Zeke, it should still be pretty interesting. After that, he'd planned on taking Eren to see the natural hot water spring, the finally a drive through the plantations. Living in the city, the kid probably hadn't ever really given any thought to where the food they ate came from. Parking at The Blowholes, Levi eyed the masses of tourists. Steel fencing had been erected to keep them off the cliff, but that meant nothing to most people these days. They were happy to die if meant a chance at an amazing selfie. Climbing from the car, Zeke was left on the front passenger seat, while Eren jogged over to his side "What is this place?" "You'll see soon" No sooner had the words come out his mouth, a stream of water shot through one of the holes, leaving a rainbow in its wake "Oh my god! Did you see that?!" "Yep" "Levi! That is so cool! I need photos" He'd thought that meant photos of the water, not photos of them together while Eren tried to get the rainbow behind them. It felt like it took a hundred shots for Eren to get one he was happy with, though he did get plenty of kisses to the cheek during it all, so it wasn't all terrible. Since telling Eren about Isabel and Farlan, the omega hadn't shied away once. He'd caught him sitting on the balcony smoking a single cigarette in Isabel's memory, and had sat down to listen while he rattled on about some story from when they were young. Even if it'd been 15 years, it felt like only yesterday that they met. The memories flowing back so easily. Almost too easily. By the end of it all, he was sure he'd never talked that much in his life. Walking down along the fence line, the stopped so Eren could take photos of the tourist information board, with all the do's and don't's. That everyone else was happily ignoring. Finding out there was small war memorial just a little further along the road, Eren didn't even have a chance to ask if they could go, before he was saying yes. This was why holidays were bad. He couldn't say no to Eren at the best of times. A 20 minute drive down a rough gravel road wasn't his idea of fun, not with all the dust kicked up by the traffic. Then Eren saw two horses wandering through the low scrub on the road side, so they'd had to stop so he could take photos, clearly disappointed when the pair didn't come closer. At the war memorial, Eren took another hundred odd photos. It was a steep climb from the small dirt carpark, but was nice in its own way. Like most war memorials, it had a huge anchor, as well as neat marble wall panels naming the soldiers who'd died in the last great conflict with Marley. Eren seemed to be especially proud when he found and L. Ackerman, and an E. Yeager on the lists. Declaring that in another life they'd been soldiers and it had been a tragic love story of two star-crossed lovers. He was 90 percent sure Eren didn't know what it meant, but didn't want to dampen his enthusiasm. Urged to stand next to his "name", it was slightly spooky when a random Gull swooped down to land atop the panel. It's red rimmed eyes staring right into his before it cawed and flew away. He'd just been slipping back into thinking about Isabel. After taking a photo of Eren next to "his name", they headed back down to the car. Eren pausing to pick a bright pink flower off one of the numerous sprawling succulent plants surrounding the walkway. The natural springs was a half an hour drive back along the main road, and then another 5 minutes down a dirt one. The sight over grown with weeds and reeds, while the smell of Sulfur had him wrinkling his nose. Taking photos of everything, Eren nearly lost his phone as he tried to get a good photo of the water flowing from the rust pipe system installed to once water stock. Of course they couldn't drink hot water, so it instead fed off into a concrete tank to cool. By running it through a series of concrete channels, the surface area of the water was increased, allowing for a wider surface to cool at once. Or that's what the sign said in much more technical terms. Even if it might have seemed boring to some, Eren seem really excited to be learning about new things. He had no idea that erosion could form things like The Blowholes, that Paradis had even been at war with Marley, or that natural springs actually existed and his books weren't lying. With the next stop being the plantations, they stopped off at a banana plantation, where Eren ditched him for the huge aviaries of all kinds of birds. Unlike almost all the other plantations in the area, this one was open for public visits and tours... He didn't love yours, and he loved them even less by the end of it. He had fucking filthy rotten bits of banana stuck to the bottom of his shoes. His toes curling as his feet tried to escape the filth. With it being nearly lunch time, they grabbed lunch there. Eren being the little shit that he was, and eating a banana so provocatively, he'd popped a boner of it. The things Eren could do with a banana and his plump pink lips was better than soft core porn, and all he'd done was eat the damn thing. They'd also picked up a few small souvenirs there. A key chain bottle opener for both Moblit and Hanji, while Erwin got banana, the whole where the bananas banana would be if he had one. For Eren they'd picked out a dorky looking snow globe. The banana inside dressed as snow man which made absolutely no sense... yet Eren thought it was cute, and that was enough for him to be handing over his debit card. * Eren was enjoying their drive. There was so much to see outside of the concrete of Shinganshima. Everything was so green and bright. And completely fascinating. Time was running out to find a place to lay Zeke at rest, but after Levi had been so open with him, his attention had mostly been on making sure Levi was doing ok with everything. It felt good and scary at the same time. He felt even closer to Levi. Like he understood why he did what he did, and it was fucking scary. He didn't want to see Levi that scared or upset all over again. He didn't want his boyfriend to suffer alone anymore. Turning off the main road, Eren had no clue what was happening. Wild scrub along both sides of the road seemed to thicken until a small carpark appeared on the right side. Pulling into the carpark, Eren looked to his right. There was a small wooden bridge leading over what seemed to be a river. Tall weeping trees draped over the sides of the river, giving it the impression that no body had been in here in years "Want to go take a look? The bridge has to lead somewhere" "You don't mind?" "How often do we see nature like this?" Levi hated nature. The man definitely out of his element on the beach, though he tolerated it enough for them to wade around in the water. Unlike him, Levi could swim and Eren could watch him swimming around all day. It was the first time he'd seen Levi in any kind of shorts other than the boxers he wore over his boxer briefs in the summer. He loved watching the way Levi's muscles and rippled. A blush settling on his face as he grew aroused from the sight of his sexy alpha dripping wet. The only reason Levi would suggest the walk is because he knew Eren wanted to go. Leaving Zeke's ashes on the passenger seat, Eren scrambled out the car. The place was silent, even with the few ducks floating on the river. Jogging over to the bridge, he leant against the aged rails, once painted red but now faded to back to wood in places. Coming up behind him, Levi wrapped his arms around him, kissing his shoulder "What do think?" "It's pretty. Where do you think the river goes?" "Out to the ocean. I think it's connected to the same river that runs through Shinganshima" "It's so quiet... it feels like we're the only people in the world" "I think I could live with that" Turning his head, Eren kissed Levi's forehead awkwardly "I think you'd get bored pretty quickly" "I don't... this place is kind of nice" "Mmm. Do you want to follow the path?" "Did you get enough photos of the ducks?" "I haven't taken any yet" Levi felt his front pocket, pulling his phone out for him "I know you'll regret it if you don't" How did he manage to scored himself the best alpha in the world? Snapping a couple of photos of the ducks, then squealing when he realised there ducklings, Levi patiently waited for him "Can we take a few together?" "If you want to?" "I do... I don't ever want to forget this. Being here with you" "Who would have thought you'd be so sappy?" "I'm an omega, it comes with the dynamic" "We both know you're not your dynamic" Eren snorted. He was very much a slave to his dynamic, no matter what he did. Even now, he was slicking at the feeling of being in his boyfriends arms "Maybe..." Turning in Levi's arms, he stole a kiss. Levi, squeezing his arse in response to the stolen kiss. Mewing, he broke the kiss "That's not fair" "What's the point of having a boyfriend with such a fine arse, if I can't grope you" "If you keep groping me, I can't be blamed for my actions" "What are you going to do? Kiss me?" "Exactly" "I'm so scared" "You better be..." Kissing Levi again, his boyfriend ground up against him. The pair of them very much in their own world until the ducks behind them quacked and splashed loud enough for Eren to break the kiss with a sigh. He wanted to be with Levi physically, but needed just a little longer. It was moments like this that sucked the most. Maybe if they'd been a normal couple, Levi would have bent him over and fucked him right there... fuck... his cheeks reddened as he caught a whiff of his own aroused scent. He wished Levi was like every other alpha he'd met, the ones who couldn't read or even smell his scent. But he also wouldn't change a single think about the man "You look like you shat yourself, brat" "What the fuck am I supposed to say to that?" "No?" Rolling his eyes, he forced Levi to turn around, and leaned down to place his chin on Levi's shoulder "Shut up and smile for me" Levi scowled at the camera, Eren unable to hide his smile "You're not smiling" "Because you're a shit" "Mmm... probably. Now smile" Instead of smiling, Levi kissed his cheek. With his thumb over the camera button, he ended up with like 50 copies of the photo. Not that he minded "I like this one" "Eren, I've been meaning to ask. I know you were scared of leaving a paper trail, when you were with Zeke. But can I make a photo of us my online profile photo?" "You... want to use a photo with me in it?" "With your permission... you're my boyfriend. I want to show the world" Eren swallowed down the scream of happiness. Levi's ear was right near his mouth "I... are you sure? I'm not the special..." "You're my boyfriend. I want the world to know you're mine" Oh fuck... he squealed right into Levi's ear. But after a confession like that, he couldn't stop himself "Yes!" "Oi. Fuck. That was my ear" "Sorry. I tried not to... but..." "You got excited?" "Yeah..." "It's alright. And I won't change a thing without your permission" "Levi, do you think I could make an account?" "You want to make an account? On what?" "I don't know... I just. Want to know more about you" "All you have to do is ask. I'm honestly not on social media all that much. But Hanji and Erwin are. And Moblit" "If I make it an account, does everyone see it?" "Why don't be take a look when we get back to the room?" "Mmm. Ok. Exploring first?" "Alright, lets go exploring" The gravel path leading from the bridge lead up to a look out. The river cutting through the dense scrub before. It was... it took his breath away. He had no idea what the plants surrounding him where, but they were beautiful... wiping at his face, he knew this was the place. This tiny place where no one came, and the environment hadn't been ruined by concrete and roads "Everything ok?" "Here... I want to scatter his ashes here" Levi took half a step back, but then his alpha grabbed his hand, forcing him to face him as his hand came up to cup his cheek "Are you sure?" "It's beautiful... and so peaceful. I hope wherever he is, he's at peace. That's the only thing I want... him to rest peacefully. He didn't have a happy life, and his... he deserves peace" "And you're sure?" "Yeah... Levi, do you think the river leads out to the ocean?" "It does" "I think it'd be nice if he could see all this, before seeing the ocean... if I died, I think I'd like to rest in a place like this" Levi's face softened, he sighed softly "Alright. But I don't want to think of you dying" "I'm not going anywhere... I couldn't leave you to find a better omega" "I couldn't find a better one... maybe one who's less of a brat" "It's not my fault I'm a brat" "No. I'm just a dirty old man" "A sexy old man" Levi huffed at him "I'm sorry. You're the only dirty old man I could ever want" "That's better" "I... I really care about you Levi. I've never met anyone like you before. You're so gentle to me, and so kind. I don't want another alpha. Any other alpha... you're all that I could ever want" "Eren..." "I know I'm young. And you're probably going to say that I might change my mind, but I won't. You make me so happy" "I was going to say, I have no intention of sharing you" "That's even better" Levi rose on his tiptoes to kiss his forehead "Lets go get Zeke" Levi asked him if he wanted to say some words before scattering Zeke's ashes. He didn't know how to sum up the time he'd spent with Zeke. He didn't know how to thank Zeke for taking him in. For helping him find his voice again, and for saving him from the hell his life had been. He didn't know how to thank Zeke for holding him when he screamed or cried, or for all the times his brother cleaned him up. How to thank him for all the times he changed his bed sheets for him after losing control of his bodily functions, not used to having access to the toilet anymore. He didn't know how to thank him for teaching him how to dance. For giving him a way to express what he was feeling in a way that wasn't screaming or breaking things. When he'd first got out of hospital, the rehabilitation therapist had suggested yoga and gentle stretches to help him build his strength back up. Zeke had told him that. But looking at everything, it seemed a boring way to go. His brother said he'd never smiled when he'd first taken him in, so Zeke had looked into forms of rehab. Settling in dancing. Exotic dancing might not have been what Zeke was thinking, but his brother didn't stop him. He'd taught him what he needed to get by. How to talk. How to walk. How to do... everything. How was he supposed to thank Zeke for everything he did? And how was he supposed to apologise for being the one to cause his death? For all the times he disappointed him. For all the times he was bad omega who deserved to be hit. He missed him. He missed him so much... climbing down the side of the clay river bank, Eren sniffled as he opened the box. Zeke's ashes sealed in the bag inside. He wasn't sure he could do this. He didn't want to let him go. He didn't want to lose him, forever. But he wanted him to rest in peace... and leaving him in the bottom of the wardrobe wasn't ok. Taking the weight of the box in his hands, Eren nodded his thanks. His hands shaking like crazy as he lifted the bag out. It wasn't as heavy as he thought it would be. Not nearly heavy enough to be them remains of a whole human person. His brother hadn't exactly been small. How did a living, breathing person turn into this? They'd said his body was too decomposed or something for him to see him. If Levi had been listening, he could have explained it to him. But if Levi had listened, he would have known he wasn't telling them everything. The questions he'd ask would be dangerous... "Eren, if you're not up to this..." "I do... this is the right place. I know it is" "Ok..." Opening the bag, Eren took a handful of ashes. His anger flaring over his brother being taken from him. He'd been the last of his family and now he was this. The ashes felt weightless in his hand. Holding the handful of ash above the water, he let out a sob as he forced his fingers to uncurl. He tried to say "Thank you" to Zeke. That he loved him. That he missed him. That he needed him and that he was sorry. Nothing came out. Everything on his lips falling silently between the sobs. This was it. Zeke would be gone forever. Finally free of his duties of looking after him... Small handful after small handful was sprinkled on the water, until the bag was empty. Running his hand through the water, Zeke's ashes were already sinking. His knees going weak as he forced himself not to fish his brother back out the river. Catching him, Levi lifted him off his feet. The box ending up in his lap as his boyfriend nuzzled into him "You did so good. I'm sure Zeke knows everything you wanted to say. And I'm sure he's happy to be laid to rest here" He wanted to go home. Or at least back to the hotel room. He hated the place for taking his brother him from him, and he loved it for being the perfect place for him to rest. It Zeke had been alive, he was sure he'd like it. It was so pretty that you couldn't help but like it. So upset that he felt sick, Levi noticed. He carried him out the river, slipping on the bank and never complaining. With his head on Levi's shoulder, his eyes were glued on the spot where Zeke was now. Finding the tiniest bit of his voice, he whispered "Thank you for loving me" If Levi heard, he didn't say. His boyfriend carrying him over to the passenger side. Being a low sitting sedan, it wasn't quite as easy to lower him in. Eren climbing out Levi's hold without saying anything. He couldn't stop crying, and his taxed mind couldn't thank his boyfriend. He just didn't have the mental energy to do anything but be miserable. Levi took all over in his stride. His boyfriend took his shoes and socks off for him, dd his seatbelt, covered him with his jacket from the back seat and kissed him softly "I'm going to drive us home now. Or do you want to stay a little longer?" If they stayed, he was sure he'd go crazy. That he'd throw himself in the water and beg to die. To be with him. He was supposed to die with him... he was never supposed to be with Levi. With a pitiful look on his face, he looked to Levi "Ok. Give me a moment" It really did seem to take a forever for Levi to climb into the sedan after closing the door for him. Throwing his phone up onto the dash, Levi then placed his hand on his leg "I looked at the sign. This place is called Ymir's Pool. So you know" He hadn't even thought about that. He'd just dumped Zeke... in a place he didn't know the name of... What kind of person did that make him? The river wasn't that deep, the sun reaching to the bottoms of it. Once the sun set, it'd be so cold. Hanji had explained that bodies were kept cold in the morgue. His brother locked away in a cold box for months, before being scattered in a river that would turn just as cold. Closing his eyes, his thoughts went to Zeke laying at the bottom of the river. Trapped under all that water with no hope for escape. At some point he'd fallen asleep on the way back to the hotel. The thought of Zeke being cold had taken such a hold on his fragile mind that he'd dreamed a nightmare of his brother trapped under the water drowning. His mouth open, screaming as his hands reached for him. Bubbles were all he could see. Bubbles from Zeke's soundless screams. When Levi woke him, his heart was racing so fast that he feel the thudding in his head. His boyfriend looked at him so sadly. He didn't have any words to comfort Levi. To make things right. It wasn't until Levi went to help him from the car that he found he'd scratched his arms again. The scabbing wounds bleeding beneath his sleeves. He couldn't deal with this. He'd never felt like he was right now. He'd known it was the perfect place to lay Zeke to rest when he'd seen the view. His brother would make the journey to the ocean without him... and Eren would return home. Leaving him behind. If anyone was being left, he should have been it. Everyone left him, and every time his world shattered into thousands of pieces. The pain was raw, like the open wounds on his arms. It was the kind of pain he'd take a million times, to prevent anyone feeling it even just once. * Levi knew saying goodbye had broken Eren's heart. The omega's scent was painful, to both him and his alpha. It seemed to coat his tongue and leave a bad taste in his mouth. He'd hoped laying Zeke to rest would relieved the burden Eren carried on his shoulders. His boyfriend had chosen the place to say goodbye, but now he wondered if it was too soon. Eren might be long and lanky, not instinctively rousing the desire to protect from most alphas, yet he knew that was was far from the truth. His boyfriend was small, scared and fragile. Some days he oozed a confidence that blew him off his feet, but that was an act. It was the kind of confidence Eren wished for himself. Levi tried to see beyond, and most times he did, but this Eren in front of him... this was the Eren he'd seen when they'd first met. The broke boy who jumped and flinched at shadows. Saying goodbye to Zeke had brought him back to the surface. With clothes stained in filthy river stink, Levi took Eren through to the bathroom. Sitting him down in the bath, Eren barely seemed to notice as he stripped him down to his underwear. Checking to make sure the kid wasn't using a pad, he then turned the taps on and poured in way too much vanilla bodywash. Eren was in shock, his body cool and clammy to the touch. He needed to get him warmed back up. Moving to move away from his boyfriend, Eren reached out and took his hand. The touch was weak, Eren's hand would have slid from his if he hadn't curled his fingers slightly "Do you want me to stay?" There was a small tug on his hand "If I'm staying, I need to get out these filthy clothes" The river water had been fucking disgusting. His skin tried to shrink away from his equally revolting clothes. He never, ever, would have set foot in it if it wasn't for Eren. Both his and the kids sneakers were ruined by swamp mud from the bottom of the river. He'd binned both pairs in the rubbish bin of the hotel's car park, while Eren's was in his hold. With his legs loosely wrapped around his waist and his face against his shoulder, he was sure Eren hadn't even noticed them gone. They both had another pair of sneakers packed, and if Eren really liked them, he would buy him another pair. Letting Eren make the next move, his hand jerked back from Levi's with a soft whine "I'm just going to strip off. I'll keep my underwear on" He really wanted to take a fucking shower, for at least an hour and a half. But the water was already pouring into the bathtub, so redirecting it to either of the shower heads would result in poor pressure. Taking a couple of steps out of Eren's reach, he peeled his jeans off, wincing at the stink that came wafting back up from the source being disturbed. Next came his shirt. Eren letting out a kind of grunt as the garment hit the floor "Do you want me to leave?" Closing his eyes, Eren slid forward in the tub. His knees coming up to his chest as he wrapped his arms around them. With the bath being so big, there was barely three inches in the bottom of it "What do you need from me? What can I do to help?" Eren moved the thumb and pointer fingers of his right hand, turning them out slightly. Staring at it, it was the "ay" incident all over again. He thought it meant that Eren wanted him to stay, but without words, he didn't know "You want me to stay" His boyfriend didn't respond. What was he supposed to do now? If Eren wanted him to stay, he would. He looked scared and vulnerable... getting a new idea, he took a deep breath before stepping closer to the tub again. Stepping over the side, he sank down behind Eren and pulled him up between his legs. Instead of pulling away, or tensing, Eren slumped back against him. So this was what the omega wanted? His boyfriend to hold him. He could do this. There was nothing sexy about being in a bath in your underwear. Nor was there anything sexy about the smells of distressed omega, confused and agitated alpha, and river water. Using his toes to pull the plug out, he drained the bath of the river water mix, before sliding back into place. Being such a large bath, it was going to take a while before it filled. In his arms, Eren was still freezing cold with shock. Goosebumps covered his boyfriend skin. Rubbing Eren's arms, Eren whined softly against him. The whine slightly different as it was the sound of an omega in distress, calling for their alpha to soothe them. He was Eren's alpha, but they weren't bonded. He couldn't soothe Eren's fears completely like a bonded alpha could, and there was no way he was going to bond with Eren so soon into their relationship. Even if the omega said he was all he could want, and even if the urge to mark and claim him was strong, Eren needed time. The vibrant omega was still so young. He didn't want to limit his options or his future. Eren might be it for him. He was completely invested in him, and wanted a future with him, but one day, Eren might not feel the same way. And though he wanted to keep Eren by his side forever, he wouldn't force him to stay or make him feel obligated to with his mark, if he found someone he loved more than him. It took nearly half an hour to fill the bathtub just over half way. Eren was still whining softly for comfort, while Levi was nuzzling into his cheek in an attempt to provide it. He knew omegas purred when needing to calm themselves, but Eren wasn't purring like he'd seen him do so many times before. It made him wonder if Eren had finally given up his sad purr, now only choosing to purr when purely content and happy. Each omegas purr was slightly different, some not purring at all. Yet he was sure if he could get Eren purring, it would help calm his racing heart. It'd been a few hours since scattering Zeke, including the drive back, if Eren didn't calm down soon, he risked going into heat, and that would only make his boyfriend feel even worse. Plus, taking Eren on a plane while in heat was just not possible. Even if it was one of his semi-heats, the smell alone was enough to drive any alpha wild. Or at least him, as he seemed to be the only alpha in the world that picked it up. For his friends, they had to be up close to tell, basically touching his boyfriend. For him. Nope. He liked to think it was because Eren was "made" for him, despite the reality that it was a side effect from the trauma he'd suffered as a kid. Sitting Eren up in front of him, his boyfriend whined again. Starting with Eren's shoulders, he began to massage while keeping his lips near Eren's nape. It was a dirty trick. The napes of most people were incredibly sensitive, to touch there was only allowed by the person themselves or their mate. With gently kisses to the area, Eren mewed for him, his own nature turning against him as it calmed and tried to get more attention for the spot. Continuing to kiss, he alternated with mouthing until Eren was simply mewing and panting. The sadness in his scent had turned to arousal, which was kind of flirting with danger, but much more easy for him to bring Eren out of. Wrapping an arm around Eren's waist, he pulled him back up against him, resting his chin on his shoulder as his boyfriend slowly calmed his breathing back down to normal, the finally evened out as he fell asleep against him. With both himself and Eren washed down completely, something that he hoped his boyfriend wouldn't realise involved stripping him of his underwear, he carried Eren out to their bed where he finished drying him off, before dressing him in his underwear and the sweats he used for pyjamas. Next came dressing Eren's arms back up. Some of the scratches were definitely going to scar. Eren might use vitamin E cream for his scars, but it wasn't an overnight fix. It'd take weeks, and months for them to fade from such a deep and angry pink. Once that was done there was only one thing left to do, and that was to climb into bed with omega. Manhandle him so they were laying tangled up together, Eren's still damp hair was tickling his chest. Isabel's and Farlan's funerals had hit him hard. The same emotions he'd struggled through were now hitting his boyfriend much harder than they'd hit him. At least he got to see both of his friends bodies before their burial, while all Eren got was a pile of ashes. It had to fucking hurt, which is probably why Eren couldn't say what he'd wanted to. He'd have to until tomorrow to ask Eren if he wanted to go back to the spot and say a proper goodbye. He probably should have offered some kind of words as Eren scattered the ashes, but he had no love in his heart for Zeke. He'd used and manipulated Eren's good nature and natural desire to help and protect what he held dear, and fucked the omega right over. He'd turned him against the people who loved him, while Eren was blinded to it all by the love for his brother. Hanji called him a few hours later. Outside the balcony doors, the world was bathed in oranges and red from the sunset. He would have liked to have been able to take the call outside, but Eren had a firm hold on him. Making sure he didn't disturb his boyfriend, he swiped his thumb across the screen, before laying it down on his ear "Levi! Can you hear me?!" Fuck. Why did she have to yell?! "Keep your voice down, Eren's sleeping" "Oooooh, late night? Did you two finally do it again?! I hope you were careful and used protection" "No..." "Levi! Seriously!" "Shut up. We didn't have a light night. Eren scattered Zeke's ashes today, then had a bit of a meltdown" "My poor honey. Where did you scatter him? At the beach?" "No, we found a spot along the river that Eren liked. It hit him super hard" "Of course it did. He had to say goodbye today. Is he in heat? I can probably arrange time off to drive down if he is?" "No. Not the moment. I couldn't pull him out of like usual, so it's probably for the best he's sleeping right now" "Make sure you give him lots of love for me" "Not happening. Why are you disturbing my holiday?" "Oh! Oh... that's right. I had to take Titan over to Erwin's. He's fine, but when I got there today, there was a note on the door about the noise. I think the poor boy misses his humans" "So he's ok?" "Yeah. Just a bit lonely. He even came up to me for pats" "Desperate times call for desperate measures" "Rude! Hey, I know Eren's probably feeling really down, but you should take him out tonight" "What do you mean take him out? He isn't going to want to be in a crowd" "I mean just take him out dancing or something..." "Hanji, he's really not up for dancing" "He loves dancing. It'll help take his mind off everything. Or take him out for a nice dinner. If he stays inside, he's only going to get more depressed" "I think I know how to make my boyfriend feel better" "I'm not saying you don't, but..." "Hanji, I've got it handled. I'm going before he wakes up" "Fiiiine. I only called to see how my honey was, and to let you know about Titan" Ending the call, Levi looked down at Eren's hair. Maybe Hanji was right.... Maybe instead of cuddling, Eren needed a distraction.

DOTW 29 - Start
I couldn't leave you to find a better omega" "I couldn't find a better one... maybe one who's less of a brat" "It's not my fault I'm a brat"
