- Hai you read the title, this is a very straightforward post cuz I can't get this out of my mind + this could heavily relate to the Revolution VD so. Hear me out ok. Everything is under the cut if you're interested.

If you pay attention to the lyrics of the second verse, its as if they're having a conversation and/or trying to convince each other to change their point of view. Kanata seems quite negative and "depressed" while Nayu sounds more comforting?? Watch this (I'm breaking it down cuz ofc I will)

"From the beginning, never trusted strangers, don't care about others' betrayal"

- Basic Kanata activities. I think Trust Nobody takes both of their persoectives on Trust. Kanata associates it with the trust issues he has towards society, while Nayuta associates it to something (or rather SOMEONE) else.

"Same agonies, same regrets. We shared it all, us brothers"

- Basic Kanata activities². In this song he makes STRONG EMPHASIS in them always being together. Whether its hardships or happy moments, they were ALWAYS together. Keep that in mind

"Even the days of reoccurring drama, we persisted in this way of life, we just believed so we sang"

- Self explanatory I think

"Even if we weren't trusted overall, if the words are lukewarm, it's just fake love"

- It's hard for me to interpret this lyric to be honest, maybe my english isn't englishing. But I guess it refers to the bond they created using rap, a bond that isn't affected by what others think of them, and if other people's verses are lukewarm, that's just because they lack trust or love. I think.

- This is like a direct reply to Kanata's negative view of trust. Even if they still live on a bad environment, they have each other, money to subsist and the ability to evolve and be better. If only Kanata moved on from the slums. It's like he's scared of the outside world so he decided to stay there, but Nayu wants to move forward

"It can't be helped that all can't be mutually understood, pushing values and correctness onto each other, there's no way that can be called trust"

- Straightforward as hell + I used it for my first theory post. Basically, Nayu doesn't like the way Kanata restricts him even if it's on accident. And while Kanata connects Trust to his trust issues, Nayu connects it to the lack of trust within Cozmez.

- Nayu just wants to have a chat with Kanata about their issues girl... Kanata please.....

- This is SUCH AN INTERESTING THING cause when it says "Unfulfilled dreams" Nayuta is shown in the mv, and for "Silly destiny" Kanata is shown. I think this is about Nayuta's unfulfilled dreams and Kanata uncertain destiny without Nayuta (he doesn't know what to do without him / outside his comfort zone).

They're definitely kinda venting to each other???😭 In Kanata's perspective, "Trust" relates to how no one trusted them and they didn't trust anyone. Meanwhile for Nayuta, it's more about the lack of trust within each other. It's really interesting, cause Kanata still stubbornly believes this way of life is the best for both and doesn't acknowledge Nayu's desire for change, most likely out of fear. I haven't shut up about this lately but deal w it. Take this as you will. I just felt like sharing it cuz I'm obsessed w this song AND topic as of late

My breaking point...

//Hey, so...I hope you guys don't mind, but I need to vent for a bit.

//I'm here to announce that I need to take a break for a bit and...I'll explain why. Just a warning, I'm gonna be talking about some pretty heavy stuff.

//I don't really want to go into proper details, but these last few months since the start of the year have been...rough for me.

//I've been stuck in a horrible place and suffering from depression and unfortunate circumstances, even with the arrival of my new university year. I've been trying to make some changes and better my physical and mental health, so I can work my way through it.

//But it hasn't really worked. For some reason, every time I try and do something better, my life and mood just gets worse. And I will admit, some of it has derived from me doing stupid things and I'm the only one who can be held accountable for it. However, a lot of it also comes from other people both around me and online, who are making my life difficult for literally no other reason than what I can assume to be an innate desire to want to hurt me, with no rationality behind it. You guys have no doubt seen my complains about Tumblr's changes and how they've completely ruined my usual setup, and I still hate that I'M the one who has to change my way of doing things just to adapt to what are unquestionably stupid and terrible changes to what was once a perfectly good website.

//And even if it's completely unrelated to me, I just hear so much negative, and just horrible, terrible stuff going around that makes me question what the point is of even having a life to live. Take this past week leading up to today for example. If you've been following social media and the latest news, the situation with SSSniperWolf and JacksFilms and how YouTube are protecting her. Even today, I logged online to see what was happening, only to find out Wendee Lee (Miu and Akane's VA) is deciding to be a cunt and talent agencies fucking people over.

//Additionally, on AO3, I caught one of my followers being homophobic, saying they were desperate to not have any gay relationships in PToH. Because they post from a private account or whatever, I can't block them either.

//Inconsequential to me in the grand scheme of things, but the knowledge that other people are suffering at the hands of others is making me sad and prompting me to just reflect on whether there's a point or not in even trying to do what you love or make something of yourself if it only means someone else will hold it against you for the sake of their god damn ego.

These sprites involved Kanata Inori from Another Despair Academy in a bunny girl outfit.

//A while back, I uploaded a series of sprites of every DR girl in a bunny girl outfit on Reddit; a series which included Chihiro, Hiyoko and Himiko, and sparked some heavy controversy on the subreddit. It gradually got worse, and eventually, I got permanently banned from the subreddit entirely.

//I still assert the moderators for the subreddit are ungrateful and favouritist cunts, but that aside, part of the reason why the situation got worse is because I was harassed, threatened and verbally abused by multiple people, and accused of pedophilia.

//And low and behold, I got some messages saying the EXACT same thing in light of the Kanata edits.

//I knew this would happen, but I still wanted to go through it anyway because I respect Mod Bubbles, and in no way am I saying this is THEIR fault. Of course it's not! I had every right to refuse making those edits, but I accepted. But I will not let myself be held accountable for statements that are just blatantly false, and I know even back then, the people who did this kind of harassment to me didn't actually care about the edits. They just wanted to hurt me.

//Case in point, they went out of their way to CREATE ALTERNATE ACCOUNTS after I blocked their mains, JUST TO KEEP HARASSING ME!

//And it's PATHETIC! It's just a sad state of existence and it makes me angry just thinking about it! That people do this!

//And do you know WHY they do this? Because the internet is the perfect place where you can say the worst thing imaginable to someone, or accuse them of something that is just completely and utterly ridiculous, ruining their reputation for no good reason, and face NO repercussions for it.

//Twitter, or X as it's now known, is the prime example for this. Almost EVERYTHING about that platform is horrible. It's a toxic platform full of toxic people, owned by a toxic manchild. What really happened

For clarification, these are mostly allegations but since there seems to be some truth behind them and everyone seems to believe allegations without proof anyway, I thought someone should make a post to show the other side in this situation aren't the innocent angels they make themselves out to be and actually seemed to have purposely kept this going after stating they want to move on.

The main person this post will concern though is tumblr user Swanee (@/newdaybreak) and her friends who target harassed another self shipper for the last year over sharing f/os.

This vent post from Jade Rose on their twt was my introduction to this "drama" and I think it should be read. It explains what happened from their side of the story and how it affected them.

Tl;dr: Swanee allegedly vague posted began harassing Jade alongside her friends after Jade followed her when they shipped with Kanata, unaware that Swanee didn't like sharing. They were not trying to cross Swanee's boundaries, they were genuinely unaware that sharing was an issue for her. Since then Jade lost any friends they had then and suffered from suicidal thoughts and even attempted suicide. I can't find the vague post mentioned or any posts from Jade or Swanee made at this time as they both seemed to have deactivated their origin blogs.

Jade also supposedly received harassing anons they think we're sent by Swanee and her friends. These anons included death threats, encouragement to self harm and end their life, telling them Eden didn't love them and wanted them dead, ableist and transphobic comments. Some examples are down below (picked ones that weren't too bad to share because some are just too much)

They also received the following message (as well as other harassing messages) on their retrospring when they attempted to migrate to twt which they think is from Swanee or one of her friends

Jade suffers from bpd and has said before that things like being spammed with harassment trigger breakdowns and they will have serious suicidal thoughts. Lots of people have apparently mistaken this for bait but Jade said they can't control it and genuinely are thinking those things when it happens which is why they ask people not to harass them.

Though Jade has apologised for everything they've actually done wrong, but people still defend the person who has harassed them and not yet apologised.

Honestly, as an outsider in all this, I think this is very chronically online behaviour and some of those callouts I've seen haven't had much evidence either. People can lie online. Yes, even about racism. In a community like the self ship community, isn't everyone welcome? There are far worse people allowed in the community than Jade, who have actual evidence against them too, yet Jade is the one outed because a popular blog said theyre a bad person?

I've seen their account, they seem like a sweet person who just wants a platform for their ship. They haven't harassed that other shipper and I think it's unfair to continue to out and harass them.

This community is supposed to be a safe space after, so why are we not allowing this one person to be apart of our community and make friends? It's unfair since no actual proof aside from one out of context screenshot and just screenshots of their breakdowns (that were triggered by harassment and Jade even apologized for them) against them. This whole situation could have been avoided if Swanee had blocked Jade or told them that they weren't okay sharing instead of taking the approach she did to the situation.

I may add more to this if I think of anything. I'm tired btw so sorry if some parts didn't make sense.

Since I'm talking about Kakeru i might as well mention Kanata too because if you've been following the stuff i write you've probably heard me comment how i don't like how she was potrayed in the main story, so allow me to elaborate on that.

So being the ultimate surgeon, she's used to dealing with people who come to the hospital on the brink of death, she's met all kinds of people during her time as a doctor and strives to treat all her patients with the same amount of love and kindness because she believes that temperamental patients are just people who've gone through a lot and are battling for their lives here and she feels like they just need a way to vent their frustrations.

That isnt to say she's a total doormat because she will stand her ground and is not above resulting to violence if the situation calls it in order to keep things in order and make sure she can properly treat her patients, Kanata hits a Yakuza member on the head because he wasn't being able to treat them cuz he was fighting with the other Yakuza in the hospital.

Which ties into another aspect of her character which is Kanata putting her patients needs above her own to the point where she'll get herself into possibly dangerous situations if it means she can treat them properly/help them, she's sorta of a workaholic too as she doesn't really do much other than stay at the hospital and study about medicine related subjects.

So overall, Kanata is a very competent and capable person... Where the hell was that characterization during the main story? Because most of the time Kanata is on screen she's just crying, Like,, why?

Is it some kind of joke because of her appearance? Why is she being reduced to the one character that cries over everything she has a lot more going on than that? I get Kanata is a sentimental person and wears her heart on her sleeve, but it feels like she's crying all the damn time and that's just so?? Upsetting??

Because it ends up driving people away from the character, like my view/opinion on her changed completely after i went through her FTEs, which is something i wouldn't even have done if i wasn't writing about her because the way she's shown in the game is just uninteresting.

She does stand out more in moments like when she performs autopsies on the victims, patching up Ayame after she cut her leg, but i really wish she could have seen more aspects of her personality other than crying at every given opportunity.

mika-ritsu dorm: theyre both gay and goth and while I would never claim that they know how to be normal they know how to be chill. I think this is a pretty good roommate situation

sora-wataru-mama-subaru dorm: this seems like a nightmare to me to be honest but I think all the guys involved would be fine with it bc they're equally as wild as each other

tetora-himeru-arashi dorm: love this one bc you can immediately tell whose bed is whose. tetora and arashi are friends I think and himeru doesn't live in the dorms so this seems fine

mayoi-tomoya dorm: if tomoya wasn't used to people appearing suddenly from the ceiling it might be hard for him. but fortunately he knows wataru so mayoi crawling out of the vents won't scare him to death. i think this is not an ideal pairing but they can live with it

koga-tatsumi dorm: im pissed off that tatsumi doesn't have a crucifix on the wall over his bed bc that would be so funny. I imagine there's probably some friction between them but koga seems like a guy who basically only goes to his dorm to sleep so it's probably not too bad

jun-kohaku dorm: I feel like I don't know either of them too well but they are not overtly obnoxious so they can probably get along

aira-rei-eichi dorm: nightmare! cursed! there's a screen between rei and eichi's beds but I don't know why there isn't a brick wall. I know rei and eichi are using aira in their mind games they play with each other and he's too in awe of them to say no

leo-natsume-nazuna dorm: this seems cute to me. I feel like nazuna moms them. leo and natsume are both strong personalities (freaks) so they would argue but nazuna can probably keep them under control

shu-izumi-kuro-mao dorm: I DONT think shu and izumi should be in the same dorm. but kuro can knock their heads together if they start acting up

kanata-hiyori-rinne dorm: what a bizarre collection of guys. it looks like kanata gives hiyori a plushie of a deep sea isopod so those two are getting along at least. I guess this is a good placement for rinne since I don't think kanata or hiyori would be moved by him at all

tsukasa-souma-shinobu dorm: this is another one where I think it's a cute combo. I never thought about the three of them together before but I think they can become friends

iori, despite his scary-looking face, his hidden shady act and his track record being a former yakuza leader, is surprisingly a great father figure for kanata. even kanata becomes polite whenever iori arrived, which shows that iori could leave so many positive impact for kanata and help him to manage his own emotional issues. trust voice drama did this well, he brought kanata to enjoy a pudding and let him freely vent about his feeling while willingly listens!!!

"ugh works been tough i nearly got killed when infiltrating an enemy base" um? u good buddy? its constant rts of mascots/occasional ryuseitai content and then random vents at 3am that make no sense. but at least its apparent his mental health has gotten better. the ensties writing team put him on some zoloft. he needs more. i dont think any of the other ryuseitai members would use much social media either, midori might follow a few accs to see what fans are saying, but he gets scared very easily and loves the block button. shinobu just follows a bunch of ninja and fans on his official account and doesnt have any other accs. tetora uses his official account so often he posts all types of shit. hes the type of guy to post gym selfies. kanata barelt knows what twitter is and he doesnt care enough to try it. chiaki uses his official account to see what fans are saying but doesnt follow many people nor rt much. he only posts ryuseitai, es square updates and not much personally except for kamen rider opinions. this is literally omg i bet ryuseitai drinks water theres something wrong with me. sorry i reread the gay ibara thread and it got to me. the epilogue was so good jun was hilarious. can we medicate every es character

bridal is really good and made me emotional i think kanata was adorable (him comparing kaoru to the ryst kids because he still has room to grow... that was so cute) his communication with kanata and also izumi were like, good actually. he just vents to kanata because kanata's a good listener and then audghdhdjh when izumi came off as accusatory he immediately was like No wait i didn't mean that.. awawwawaawaa

anzu hiding behind kaoru when izumi appeared was amusing i think theyre friends (sage converted me with its evil writing powers) and i think i only counted like 3 cringe kaoru lines... maybe. the 'maybe i should meet my future parents in law' joke was embarrassing. come on. kaoru i adore you youre so hopeless

Alright lore rambles. I have the urge to talk about the backgrounds of the characters so let me grab a drink and get typing /J

To start, if you are a huge Enstars lore enthusiast you would know that Kanata was a part of a cult called the Shinkai Cult. Mhm mhm, and he was basically the God they worshipped. So on the topics of cults- we got one for the !!! Era as well. Fun fact, Inei, Matsuru and Hoshi were all involved with this cult. Ah, but there might be more added or something will change because this is just a little idea floating in my head.

So basically, Inei was raised in a cult. And he was taught that he was a bad spirit and that he would be sacrificed to cleanse the world. And he really did believe that.

Matsuru on the other hand was treated like some sort of God? The “good spirit” that would cleanse the world. Like..he was tasked to slay thr “bad spirits” aka Inei. And he was terrified of that.

Hoshi was involved because his father started to get involved with the cult and believed Hoshi was an “evil spirit” because that’s how he saw him. A curse. So he almost sacrificed Hoshi to the cult but then the cult was busted.

Ayumu was actually involved with the Shinkai cult, he technically still is. He basically “followed” Kanata to Yumenosaki-? They told him he was a bit too young but he worshipped Kanata in a way and watched him because he hid in the vents when he couldn’t enter the school. And he somehow did? Yeah, we wont get into that yet.

I actually have some pretty messed up lore because I actually work for Happy Elemets and these are all leaks /J (I’M JOKING.)

First of all, Akuma’s mother killed his sister and used her dead body to make food and fed it to Akuma when he was youngee..due to this he’s afraid of people. He sees himself as a human eating monster and is afraid to be around people. He attended Yumenosaki because he somehow got a scholarship. Wacky right?

Arata’s dad actually pulled him out of school when he was half way in it so he was held back a year. His father doesn’t approve of his idol work and calls it a waste.

Oh and Rin, he was sold to a person that starved him and abused him. The person also used him for money, for modeling. I forgot to mention this about Inei, he was actually moved to an orphanage that treated him right and was adopted but he didn’t remember where the orphanage was or the name. So when he found out he went to visit but then learned that there was a mass murder at said orphanage…yeah..

Wakumi lore time. He was actually treated like a girl and a doll by his mother. Who was a part of a huge scandal for being a part of a drug ring. His father took care of him and helped him with his rehab..yeah

Hinako lore, he was kidnapped and was treated like a doll. He was believed to be one. He wouldn’t eat or talk he was just silent and waiting for orders. And finding idols was kind of like his trigger that snapped his senses and started to show a bit of emotions? And Hinako’s parents, (who found him btw) asked Arata’s parents if Arata could accompany Hinako to Yumenosaki.

So yeah, their lore is insane. BUT HAVE YOU SEEN THE ENSTARS LORE?? THIS IS LITERALLY…SUCH LACK-LUSTER COMPARED TO THE CANON.
