I’ve been thinking about this for a while… here is Kazuki being spooned for the first time. Enjoy.

@kazureiweek Day 1: First(s)
I just finished Buddy Daddies and today is the start of KazuRei week, and also it's in Pride month, so why not draw their first pride parade lol (I am so SO normal about these three)
Extra: They were all very hyped (ignore the lack of bags and outfit inconsistencies)

Rei, you’re sparkling! ✨
K: Are you drunk already? I guess that is your second glass…
R: No… well, yeah probably. But that’s not it.
K: Then what’s got you so giddy?
R: I don’t know. I’m just… happy, I guess.
K: Aw, yeah?
R: Yes. I mean, look at us. We’re spending our first night alone in months watching a movie we’ve seen a hundred times and drinking cheap wine in our underwear.
K: Well damn, you make us sound like boring old men…
R: Pfft you are a boring old man. (Hey!?) But no, I’m serious. When I was a kid, I never even dared to dream that I’d be able to have such a normal, boring life. But now? Now I get to spend my days with you and Miri. No more chaos, no more killing. Just… cooking meals, doing laundry, attending Miri’s school events - normal, boring stuff. And right now, we’re in our bed, I’m in your arms, and yeah, I’m a bit tipsy. This is a dream come true for me.
K: Mmnnn Reiii~! C’mere!
R: Ah, wait! Kazuki! You’re gonna spill your drink!
K: I don’t care!

Yes I know we're in July already but I really wanted to write out some prompts for Kazurei bc I didn't have time in June due to work stuff. Enjoy! T_T
Kazurei Week Prompt: 16. June
Hands
Rei grew up differently than most kids had.
His first experiences weren't a comforting hand ruffling his hair when he got hurt, a soothing palm stroking his back when he would cry or gentle words of encouragement if he failed but wanted to try again.
Rei knew of spit flying in his face when his father yelled to pick up the knife again and cripple his own guard. He knew of the calluses on hands that slapped his head and beat down upon his back for failing. Rei knew a touch of his father's hand held no comfort. He knew hands meant pain.
Until Kazuki bulldozed his way into his life, Rei didn't know hands could be different.
How gently they handled his hair and carefully made sure the scissors didn't nick Rei when Kazuki had cut his hair.
How soft they were on his hands when Rei sat on his couch, hands tense and contorted to the controls of his game controller, gaze empty like the zombies one sees in movies.
How affectionately they clasped his back and held onto his shoulder to not die in the mission, to give him strength to continue followed with a daredevil smile.
And how lovingly they caressed his face in the middle of the night, when Kazuki thinks Rei is deeply asleep and wouldn't remember the way Kazuki gently traced patterns across Rei's cheeks and rubbed away the bad memories and nightmares.
Miri's hands were different, but they were like Kazuki's in many ways. They were small, but carried the same warmth when Miri would boop her papa's nose during breakfast.
They were soft like a child's would be, like they should be, when Miri squished her papa's cheeks and grabbed them to give him a kiss.
They were sticky when Miri would shove a sashimi into Rei's mouth for him to try.
Hands meant many different things for Rei.
They were cold, painful and harsh.
But they were also calm, soft and comfort.
Kazuki and Miri's hands meant home.
Thanks for reading!
