i never should have fucking listened to those people i should've applied to universities like crazy as a teenager before that one teacher singlehandedly ruined my academic career and destroyed any fiber of self worth and pride in my work i should have gotten into college before that happened i know i could have done it because i was good at academics back then and it was the only thing i had there was absolutely no reason for me to be pushed through the torment of being traumatized by public education when i was already being tortured at home there was nowhere for me to go when school was just as isolating and abusive as home except when i was at school i was surrounded by people who were obligated by law to help me but either didn't care or contributed to my torment themselves
this doesn't belong here but i don't want to post it on main either:
just found out the city council where i live is going to try suing the state because they're mad that their money siphoning scheme just got ripped out from under them
my dream scenario is that the court tells them they're insane, throws out the case, and then they all kill themselves 🥰
now, i do think our money is still gonna get stolen, it's just gonna go to the state instead of the city now. you'll tell me that's a bad thing, but you don't understand how it works where i live; that money does not go to any good or necessary things, it goes to more and more brand-new, empty apartment buildings and private interests of the city council. even the money already allocated for infrastructure gets redirected toward other, less important things. here's an example:
one of our major roads gets completely re-paved every single year. it absolutely does not need this. it also creates a horrible bottleneck of traffic jamming when they do this. it's a massive inconvenience for something that is nowhere near necessary. now, another road across town flooded for an entire week two years ago. it sees less traffic, but it's still part of a major road. the city's solution? to charge us all even more for rainwater on our utility bills (yes, we have to pay for rain) and "promise" that money would go toward infrastructure that would prevent flooding. guess whose neighborhood flooded earlier this year? yeah. infrastructure my ass.
none of the money being stolen goes toward actual infrastructure or making the city better for anybody who lives here as a permanent resident. for the average citizen, where the money ends up going will make absolutely no difference for us, but it will be so much fun to watch the council cry and shit their pants over this!
How many times has corroded coffin tried to incorporate ‘pyrotechnics’ into their performance (eddie lighting the spray from an aerosol can on fire and screaming because he scared himself. Then the rest of the band screaming because he turned to face them while still spraying the can and almost melting an amp, Jeff’s eye brows and a drum) before they had to be stopped?
i'm sick of hearing "ugh it's so hot" and "wow this cold weather is so nice! i wish it could be like this every day!" from people who choose to live in florida.
Remember when the Audrey villain leaks came out and then we saw the offical c4 and s3 outfit reveals and saw the c4 on the isle and the s3 in an auradon forest and we all thought there had been some sort of time spell where Audrey twisted time and instead of the c4 coming to Auradon it was the s3 so Audrey stayed with Ben and there was a whole adventue to fix the timeline? no? just me? okay
Voyager plotline in which The Doctor, Seven, Tuvok, and Neelix have to become a barbershop quartet in order to save the crew. With the little outfits and everything. (Harry's providing the music)
