I admit, this is very much inspired by your Gale's outfit that has come across my dash a few times, but I wanted to let you know how very much I enjoy seeing the outfits you create/share. I love seeing people dress their characters up in nice outfits, especially since I frequently forget to do anything with mine, and your outifts are some of my favourites. The Gale one is fantastic, though my personal favourite is Quinn's life day outfit - he looks very dapper in it.

I was wondering if you'd be willing to share some more outfits that you're practicularly proud of?

Firstly, thank you so, so much. I get immense enjoyment out of playing dress up with game characters, and it's wonderful to hear that other folks out there enjoy my creations!

If I tried to share ALL the outfits I'm proud of, this post would take ten minutes to scroll through, so I TRIED to limit it to a 'few' I'm particularly pleased with - ones I feel I put some significant effort into, that really came together with the various pieces, or the dyes worked quite well, etc.

SWTOR: Featuring my main boys Caspian and Khel, plus a few others, and of course gotta show my faves Scourge and Quinn (who both have at least six outfits each)

LOTRO: My main, Kemendin, and my new guy, Maahes

ESO: I don't actively play ESO right now, but I did a LOT of outfitting back in the day - mostly for Dhamari, but my others got some fashion love as well

GENERAL 13. Which one thinks they aren't good enough for the other, if at all? Darrash thinks he is absolute DOGSHIT. He doesn't think he deserves Vector's patience, love, or general care whatsoever. For a long time after Eradication Day he wasn't sure why Vector was even still on his team, considering he betrayed Intelligence to Jadus "shamelessly" and let him carpetbomb the Empire at will.

It takes a while for Darrash to understand that Vector does love him, in spite of his.. apparently really rough week that led to him not only killing his own father in front of his brother but then taking like, a fraction of the Empire out alongside him.

15. What is their most common argument about? Typically Darrash refusing to take care of himself in any sort of sane manner. He makes an argument out of it because most of the time, he genuinely refuses to realize he requires rest at regular intervals; ESPECIALLY after the blip with Jadus.

Dude will go around awake for over 50 standard hours running on nothing but spit and spite, and wonders why when he sits down for two minutes consecutively he just immediately crashes. Vector usually gets help from Lokin in backing Darrash into self-care but even then, Darr barks back about it.

(Vector always wins.)

LOVE 1. Who said "I love you" first, and what was the situation? Lucky for you, I completely forgot about these asks and somehow got to this answer in your DMs! And to anyone else looking for Darrash lore. Um. Big sorry about this one. It'll make some sense within the next decade.

It was Darrash, right after he woke up from The Jadus Death. Still jammed tight to Vector's chest, not fully conscious yet but able to listen and sorta understand that Vector was saying he wasn't sure what he'd do without Darrash with him. And Darrash, in typical ressurected fashion, simply responded with "oh.. 'love you too" before falling asleep.

6. What are their favorite things to do together? Stargazing, naptime, snuggling for any other fathomable reason, going over any artifact they run across together. They like to wander cities and go looking for anything and nothing, when they get the chance; trying foods, listening to languages, watching the crowds of people pass by. Learning new things together. At one point they start trying to dance together, but Darrash gets so giggly about it it's impossible to focus.

And a bonus because you made the popular pitfall of suggesting it, DOMESTIC LIFE 8. Who kills the bugs in the house? The bugs, fortunately, have their own designated wing in their Alderaani estate. And actually all of the outside area. Why they want to come in the house is between them and their Dawn Herald; Darrash doesn't ask questions, nor does he mind.

Ironically this does extend to all little bugs. Darrash is the type to scoop them up into a little container to show Vector, then go outside to release them.

Sorry about the rant but yesterday was so weird (at least for my standard! look under the cut. but be warned it's a lot of ranting)

So, first of all, for some context that you didn't ask for I go to this center (not sure what to call it in english) 2 times a week and it's just a place where there are other teens who are also out of school and yesterday I arrived late and there was this guy who I didn't know (at least that's what I thought) and so the animator (one of the professional who is in charge) is like "Hey, Nell this is *guy's name* I don't think you met" and I honestly didn't hear what his name was so I just nodded like I understood

(you know like a liar)

and I sat down and we all started talking (like normal) and I can feel this dude staring at me and I honestly don't really think anything about it because it was his first lesson it's not weird for him to be silent and staring at people. And then we were talking about how women's equivalent of the world cup isn't talked about enough (no idea how we got there honestly) and I was asking if there really was one and so he answered and as he talked I was thinking 'damn I think I recognized that voice' and so I look at him and it takes me a second but I realized that I do know him!!!

Because he was in this group last year!!! for context, his hair used to be shorter and curlier, and now it was longer and straighter.

So more context that nobody asked for (but to be fair I don't think anyone will read this) last year's group (the Tuesday group) contained 4 people including me and this guy and we all became good friends throughout the year but so far I was the only one that came back to the center this year so I had kind of forgotten about it and out the 3 other he was the one that I had the least 1 on 1 time with.

So anyway while the conversation continues internally I'm having a stroke trying to figure out if he remembered me or not and because by that point it had been like 30 minutes it felt to just randomly be like "Hey! Btw we do know each other!" So I just acted normal

later on, we started playing some card game (It's named Kems I think) and we had to be in duos and guess what the last one was!!! So I have no idea how to explain the game (honestly I barely understand most of the rules) but you had to come up with some sign that your partner could spot and while we do that we talk and joke around and then I remember another thing which is that he is really funny and nice and cute and crap I think I have a crush!!!

Anyway, we did great (we were in 2nd place) but I still haven't asked him if he remembered me!!! So now I have a crush on a guy that probably has a girlfriend and even if he doesn't it doesn't matter because he definitely doesn't like me if he can't even remember my existence!!!

I'm really not used to any of this I don't have crushes normally (at least on real people let alone someone my age) and now I have this crush on some random guy!!!

I'm not sure if he is going to be there Friday (the other day I go) I don't know if I want him too or not!!!

Hi, if this question isn't acceptable that's more than fair, and apologies for wasting your time, but I figured I would ask since I'm pretty sure it was you that honors some of TES deities? I do promise this isn't a troll, but I'm pretty sure I feel 1 if not 2 of them tugging at me to pay attention and would like confirmation on who / what about? Initials are KEM though I go by Wren or Nyr, with pronouns being they/she, the skyrim deck seems fitting unless another feels right

Breathe, friend, breathe! Yes, I'm the pop culture pagan who follows Azura and runs @the-college-of-whispers, so I'm happy to do this reading for you. I just haven't been around much to do readings on account of starting my new job, but I'm back now, so let me have a crack at this! Since this is about two entities, I'm going to do a card for each.

Please note: Although the Skyrim Tarot does depict Daedra, Aedra, and other entities, they don't depict all of them, so I'm going mostly by meanings and you can sniff out who it applies to.

Question: Who are the two entities hanging around Nyr? Answer: 8 of Voice upright, 5 of Arms reversed

The first entity is weary of quests and seeks solitude. They are disappointed by their current material gains and seek to encourage people to find and serve a higher purpose. This card calls for you to take the time to reflect on what you want from relationships with other entities.

The second entity is big on hubris, and that has led them to defeat or empty victories in the past. They've fought many battles that have left them feeling almost hollow. This card warns that no rewards will come from some relationships with other entities.

I'm not well versed in many Elder Scrolls entities beyond Azura and some surface knowledge of the other Daedra, so this is where your own research will come in. Though I will say that the second card sounds a bit like Mehrunes Dagon during the Oblivion Crisis, but I'm not his therapist.

I put far too much effort but I went through every AU and made a list of every single AU I think Izuku would know how to tie a tie in, with a few that he doesn't because I thought I could write something funny about it. (Honestly if you don't "answer" this ask just so you don't have to tag 42 AUs I completely understand.)

Cleaner: Kaina had to learn it from the HPSC and decided to teach him for some bonding. Clone for One: Legitimate Businessman Midoriya Hisashi doesn't even bother with ties, and is in fact encouraging Izuku to not wear one at all. Early Meeting: All Might again. Equivalent Exchange: He actually doesn't know how to tie a tie, but he can rearrange the tie with his quirk so it's perfectly tied. Exciting New Problems: Learns it to spite his dad, who has also no idea how to tie a tie despite being 200 years old. Gentle Whisper: Gentle taught him. Grandfather for One: Hisashi taught him. HPSC President: He probably would here just to appear more professional, but it'd be so funny if he didn't. Hustle and Bust: The more professional you look, the easier it is to hustle. Inhumans: I think it'd be funnier if Cathleen doesn't know how to tie a tie so neither does Izuku. Inko/Cathleen/Kaina: Kaina again. KEM: Mitsuki or Bakugou again. Little Mouse: Nedzu again. Upon being informed that Darrash was the new Commander and he was to become a Lieutenant, the Rattataki shorted out a circuit breaker in glee.

“Acknowledged & Understood.” Darrash’s lovely canon (mine) storyline, this part specifically being where he claws his way back from hell and finds the Alliance, where Eikutyr (SW) and Anas (JK) eventually hand the reins to him - much to the dismay of Dilieth (JC). But Rukota (SI) is more than gleeful about it.

“dont put nealev in charge” / MOFF HUNTING SEASONNNNNNN this is the part where Darrash once again decides that violence IS the answer against grave injustices not only against himself but also the Empire. Darrash loves it when Moffs step out of live because he loves hunting them for sport.

Persona’s thrilling, exhausting Free Your Mind! begins and ends in fewer than 12 minutes. You may have several reactions to that: disappointment, that the record’s aggro wreckage flashes past so quickly; relief, that all the hollering and sonically mediated ass-kicking is over (until, inevitably, you play the record again); a perverse variety of joy, that such a gloriously raging collection of punk songs must happen in a year as shitty as this, and that the relatively spare — and now sort of venerable — components of hardcore and raw punk can still generate music this intense and ecstatic. Persona appears to comprise a bunch of NYC freaks, multiracial, queer and seriously pissed off. They have chosen to channel their collective suffering and anger into a portable, sharable form. Lucky us. Free Your Mind! is terrific.

Not that Persona is all that interested in easy pleasures. On “One Way Out,” vocalist Rebecca shouts, “Naked again in another strange apartment / Trying to fill the hole in your head.” Built with bare means, the lyrics are nearly as naked as the song’s central character. But the words achieve some striking specificity — the way “another” and “strange” suggest the inexplicable, fizzy misery of addictive behavior; the revived impact of a metaphor as overfamiliar as a “hole in your head” when it’s coupled to libidinal desire. Throughout Free Your Mind! the lyrics find that sort of effective combination of surface-level simplicity and semantic complexity. One might wish that Rebecca’s harsh, barking holler was a little more legible. But like the rest of the band, she is completely dialed in to the frustration and desperation expressed by the songs. Check out her possessed performance on “It’s a Death Cult”; her speedy declamations somehow keep pace with the rhythmic assault of Sasha and Aida, who provide the band’s bottom end. 

Bottom ends abound. Listeners familiar with the long trajectory of rock music with liberatory ambitions may recall a similar use of this record’s title: Funkadelic’s Free Your Mind…And Your Ass Will Follow (1971). That band’s sexual politics were rife with contradictions, some of them generative, some of them insipid. Dominant American repressions were twitted by tunes like “No Compute” or “The Electric Spanking of War Babies,” but the phallus remained absolutely central. There was never any doubt about whose pleasures mattered most. Some consumers may have found a related, superficial charge in the display of a naked body on the gatefold cover of Funkadelic’s Free Your Mind… (and a semi-amusing visual pun coded into the way the cover star’s “ass” followed her apparently unbounded head, as one unfolded or turned over the record’s sleeve). But of course, that naked ass was always going to be a woman’s, and all the attendant gawking necessarily limited the terms of her ostensible release. 

As the (apparently anarchist) freaks in Persona seem to understand, the political value of a sexual liberation is only useful inasmuch as the liberated have the critical consciousness to operate in their own interests. To say that somewhat less elegantly: What does it mean to get fucked? The band has an answer: the best track on Free Your Mind! is “Getting Fucked.” Guitarists AJ and Kem mindlessly work through a sludgy riff, and Rebecca shouts, “Another year of stepping in line / Another year of eating shit / Another year of waiting to die / Another year of getting fucked.” And so on. The riff picks up speed, and the song spirals into forbidding chaos. She hollers, “Time slipped up your ass!” We should note that plenty of folks happily volunteer to be a bottom. They like it. But when capital insists that you bottom, there’s no semblance of voluntary action, only the ongoing, urgent need to eat, sleep and shelter. You’re too busy getting fucked and surviving to think historically. To paraphrase Keith Morris, the world is up your ass. 

Free Your Mind! wants us to be free, so our minds and our asses can do what we choose. In Persona’s scheme, no one follows anyone else.
