So there's this hc that Drayton actually has trauma from Neo Team Plasma's attack on Opelucid that froze the city over.
Combine that with brotherly Drayton and Kieran. Drayton finding out that Kieran also now has trauma from a legendary Pokémon and both of them helping each other to cope when their traumas are acting up.
Drayton secretly hating the cold because it reminds him of being all alone in his house of his frozen-over city, and he only agreed to be the E4 member of the Polar Biome for exposure therapy reasons, but disguises it as liking the cold cuz he doesn't want people to worry, and Kieran being terrified of terastalizing his Pokémon, thunderstorms because the lightning reminds him of Terapagos's attack, as well as Juliana simply just having it out around him.
Kieran comforts Drayton when it's cold out by cuddling him to give body warmth, and Drayton tries to keep him calm whenever they have lessons based on terastalizing, or whenever there's a storm, even just throwing an arm around him whenever Terapagos is out and Kieran still can't handle it.
GOD this one hurts me. What genuine love & support. :'(

bringing the wild and radical take into sv dlc discussion that i dont think that kieran like, consistently objectifies ogerpon or the player. part of it is just vibes, and im just going off memory here, but like, if it Is him objectifying you or ogerpon, i dont think that means he doesn't see either as living, thinking people. which is a take i've seen?? a few too many times?
when kieran takes you to the dreaded den, his dialouge is soemthing like 'it must be so lonely here, poor guy. i would've let it stay at our house...."
which. that's empathy! he's doing an empathy right there! he sees it as something that thinks and feels??
it's such an odd thing to have as an arguement actually, because "kieran thinks about how the ogre feels" is like. a massive part of his characterization in the games beginning?? the whole point is that kieran looks at this monster of myth and then Thinks About How It Would Feel to be in that situation.
moreover like... reducing Kieran this way kind of takes away from the alternative, which is that Kieran DOES see you and Ogerpon as people, he DOES want the best for you. Don't forget how many times Kieran says "i know this is wrong, but i need it." how he apologizes for stealing the mask, for trying to catch ogerpon. when he loses that battle he apologizes and cries. he doesn't steal ogerpon, he congratulates you even. his hatred is directed at himself twelve more times than it is to you or anyone else and that's a REALLY important part of his character!
Kieran sees you and Ogerpon as people, not just Symbols of Strength or things to possess! But Kieran is DESPERATE, so when he thinks he's going to lose (or lose the oppertunity to have) either of you as friends, that's when he starts trying to cling onto you. him knowing how you/ogerpon feel, but doing these things anyway is the Point. it hurts because you're both hurting, but he doesn't know what else he can do. and maybe this time, if he's a little stronger, things will be different. then he'll be good enough for you/ogerpon to want to Stay.

I have a request
Could you do one where drayton and kieran both have a crush on fem reader and arven is visiting the reader at the academy and they think Arven likes the reader so they try to get in the way whenever therye hanging out together?
Omg more drama!! 👀 We love to see it
Warnings: None! The boys are just angry lol
Notes: I don't know if you guys have seen the postgame trailer for Scarlet and Violet yet, but I am SO excited to see Arven and the gang again :D
I won't spoil anything, but if you've played both DLCs, you should be able to find the postgame trailer somewhere on YouTube!
Drayton and Kieran Rivalry, plus Arven is visiting
Drayton and Kieran kinda REALLY hate each other. They were already off to a bad start when Kieran beat Drayton and started acting like an asshole, but even after Kieran's redemption arc, Drayton doesn't trust him, not even for a second. Them finding out they both had a crush on the same person amped up the tension even more.
Drayton is slightly clingier around you when Kieran is there. He lets his arm linger on your shoulder for a couple moments longer, but not enough to make anyone suspicious.
Kieran is hostile when he and Drayton are in the same room together. His tone is colder, sharper. He looks pissed off too. The two of them don't fight, they just glare menacingly at each other from across the room.
Things were already tense before Arven showed up, but Arven being there made it ten times worse...
Arven greets you like an old friend. I mean, you are literally his friend, after all- but Drayton is the first to notice and he's immediately suspicious of Arven.
Drayton questions Arven in subtle, yet prying ways. Asks how he and you met, if he considers you a friend, if he really cares for you, all that stuff.
Drayton is also the first to battle Arven after you have your turn battling the sandwich boy. His dragon pokemon seem to understand how Drayton feels, and they are ferocious in battle. Arven loses, but still puts up a good fight.
Kieran, on the other hand... he destroys Arven in battle. His eyes are dark and brooding the whole time, and he doesn't speak unless giving commands to his pokemon. To say he's furious is putting it lightly.
Drayton and Kieran form an unspoken truce of sorts with each other. They make excuses to hang out with you, making sure to exclude Arven or steal your attention away from him whenever possible.
Even if Arven were to reveal he only cares for you platonically, they need to hear it from you as well. And even if you confirm that you don't like Arven that way, their jealousy is still present. It simmers down for sure though, mostly on Drayton's end. Kieran is still quite jealous, and makes it known he and Arven do not care for you the same way.
But if Arven also likes you romantically? Then oh boy... he's in for a heap of trouble. Drayton is persistently by your side every chance he gets, and Kieran is always glaring at Arven when he's around. Poor Arven does NOT feel welcome in the slightest. You try to reassure him that they're just a little protective of you, to which Arven responds, "Only a LITTLE? Y/N, I think they want me dead!"
