Finland, land of the midnight sun. Soon the summer that this year has been hotter than our usual summers will turn to autumn. A season that is like a dance of colors as the nature gets ready to rest.

Day number god knows what of #staythefuckhome
Coronavirus count 686
The kid has been home schooled for 4 days now since last Wednesday. Seems to be going ok. At least she says she's doing what she has to. I wonder if other kids are even keeping up with their school work. We went to a K citymarket we have never been to today in Klaukkala. Bought 6 cans of hernekeitto among other essentials. We have enough food for a week I think. As the Head of the Home School canteen, I made up a list of possible dishes we can make with those ingredients. We had a list for last week too that we went through day by day. It helps with the food planning though I feel like I am always stumped for ideas. Today I diverted a little from the menu and made tuna potato cakes which weren't well received by the dad and the kid. I gobbled most of them yassss. What's not to like about fried cakes of potatoes and tuna? It's 1 am and I ought to go to bed but I finally get some quiet time on my own while the two are asleep. I have a 10am Google hangout with Winnie and Sohana. I think we should try to keep in touch with people so as not to feel do trapped and isolated. Was nice to catch up over WhatsApp with Dahlia today. Been too long. I owe Courtney a phone call. We are all not sure what is happening to the world but it sure is great to have a ton of time on my hands again. I do get anxious in wanting to fill my hours wisely and to educate myself. Dreams of catching up on Finnish lessons, learning the songs for my Choir, practicing the piano, writing the book that will never be written. I have to get things in order and prioritize.

Minä ajoin tänään aamupäivällä polkupyörällä Klaukkalaan ostoksille S - marketiin , ja ajomatka oli tänään erittäin nautittavaa aurinkoisen sekä lämpimän sään takia . 😀 . Kivaa . 😀 .
