Name: Adelphi

Face Claim: Tuppence Middleton

Love Interest: Pamela Barnes

Fic Title: Graceless

Plot Summary: Before the fall of the angels from heaven, Adelphi was like any of them; pure, gracious and compassionate. She performed her duties well and with efficiency. But it was her bond with one human in particular, Pamela Barnes, that led her to grow, to change, to become disillusioned with her position within her father's ultimate vision. After the fall, Adelphi grew cynical of God's plan. He was playing with human lives, writing them like some sort of book and taking away what free will they had. She wanted to see it all reformed and improved, but more than anything, she wanted Pamela to have a second chance at her life, the one that was taken from her too soon.

Studies have shown sunflower pollen works like a medicine for bumblebees afflicted by a parasite called Crithidia bombi, a single-celled organism that takes up residence in the bee’s gut.

Worst and best of the restaged tour trio members? Both UK and US?

BEST:

Earl Carpenter - His restaged Phantom is but a shadow of his original staging's Phantom, but he tried so hard.

Olivia Brereton - A nervous, borderline hysterical Christine, very suitable for the restaging.

Julia Udine - Spirited, feisty Christine, great dancer.

Grace Morgan - Julia Udine's alternate, she was sweeter, more naive, with a lighter voice. I prefer Udine's Christine overall but I love Morgan's 'Point of No Return'.

Chris Mann - His voice could be iffy but compared to his predecessor, he brought back an elegance to the role.

Derrick Davis - My favorite of all the restaged tour Phantoms. Gave the restaging's Phantom some much needed vulnerability.

Kaitlyn Davis - Very realistic (in that she was trying to make the blocking work), sympathetic Christine with a lovely voice.

Eva Tavares - A teeny but fiery Christine who carried the whole show on her shoulders at one point.

Emma Grimsley - A passionate, emotional Christine, impressed me solely on audio.

WORST:

Simon Bailey - Hadley Fraser 2.0.

Cooper Grodin - Most aggressively violent, unsympathetic Phantom I have had the displeasure of viewing.

Ben Jacoby - Most aggressively angry, unsympathetic Raoul I have had the displeasure of viewing (one feels for Julia Udine).

Jordan Craig - Him: "I love her. Does that mean nothing. I love her." Me: "DO YOU? Do you, Raoul??"

Quentin Oliver Lee - It says something when the most emotion he shows in the entire show is his, "Go now and leave me!"

MEH:

John Owen-Jones - Just not enough footage to really judge.

Katie Hall - She did her best, but I preferred her alternate.

Mark Campbell - Sounded good on audio and he got decent reviews, but it's hard to say.

Celia Hottenstein - I liked her voice on audio, but I don't have much of an opinion otherwise.

Katie Travis - I get what she was trying to do, and I think she altered the blocking somewhat during her run (or they changed it as she came in). But I also found her voice too squeaky and her acting stage-y.

Storm Lineberger - He was an improvement on Ben Jacoby, I'll give him that. Still find him too aggressive though.

Krista Buccellato - Very squeaky voice. Lot of vibrato IIRC. But I only have audio of her.

Jenna Burns - Saw her live in her first performance as Christine. Lot of potential, but needs time to settle into the role.

What I’ll Write

This blog is always open for requests, unless I close my inbox or specifically say otherwise! I love to write any sort of hurt/comfort, especially sickfics! I’m currently mostly interested in writing for RWBY (ruby rose), Criminal Minds (Elle), Supernatural (Sam), and The Silt Verses (Carpenter).

Both emeto and non emeto, please specify in your request, it helps me figure out what to write! I’ll also write scat, and no, it doesn’t have to be paired with emeto. I also will write asthma, injuries of all kinds (especially concussions), nightmares, and panic attacks. I’ll also write omo prompts here if they’re combined with hurt/comfort (bladder infections, bed wetting, fear wetting), ask if you’re not sure! If they’re not hurt/comfort related send them to me at my omo sideblog @it-hasalreadyhappened. I’ll also take prompts for cute gen drabbles and my YOI fanfic Domestic Bliss! I also love writing gender bends and trans/nb headcanon fics.

I will not write anything explicitly sexual, or stuff like heavy kissing or romance, so please don’t ask me for that! I’ll write for a variety of fandoms as well as my OCs (on my sideblog @bunnysocs).

scream au (death, murder tw) where billy and stu’s (any fcs can be used for those two) plan worked and they successfully killed sydney and framed sydneys father for all of the murders. life went back to normal and it’s a few years later and one of them starts dating someone new. the new romance blossoms but after awhile together the partner starts to suspect that something weird is up and slowly starts to uncover the truth, but they’re in too deep and are already in love and in a serious committed relationship with the boyfriend who they now know is a serial killer.

gossip girl au where are muses are either a part of the original friend group, they’ve finished university and are just living their lives OR our muses are children of the original characters, they’re nearing the end of university or have just finished and are joining the world and are falling in love, but as their relationship blossoms, they start to learn more about their parents teenage and young adult years and it complicates things.

His fingers continue to drum nervously on the tabletop, the yielding grain of what he assumed to be beech. He is no carpenter. He only taps his fingers against the wood, enjoys the dull, almost orderly array of sounds that fills his ears instead of the silence. The silence that presses into his ears like knives, like something aching to draw blood. Such a silence in this empty room, this empty house. He has never been here before, he knows that. And still he feels that familiar void lurking behind every threshold. A farm house, filled to the brim with old ghosts, every specter a snapshot in time of undue violence. And even then, it feels terribly domestic, a cozy sort of misery.

Bertholdt has wrapped himself up in it readily, lapping this new brand of suffering from the stale air. He sits with his hollow stare glued to the dusty window pane, and he stares at the overgrown garden, where roses run wild and monstrous for lack of tending, all thorns now, all strangling vines. They bulge skyward in grotesque shapes. If Historia hadn’t told him, he would not have known them for flowers. He would have thought that they’re some aggressive weed, something invasive and parasitical, leeching the soil and turning it barren where they sprawl.

He supposes that is what nature is: a ceaseless struggle for survival, murder upon murder. Survival of the fittest also includes the death of the unsuited. Bertholdt, having nursed a sizeable litter of deaths in his time, thinks he has that much figured out. It is a rigged game of course, everybody competing for a prize they won’t receive. The world is a fucking cesspit, not worth the energy it takes to stay in it. The bottomless despair that gapes at the center of his cynicism punches nausea into his gut. He can’t look at it without getting vertigo.

“I killed them, you know?” Bertholdt says, finally. He speaks as if to himself, the kind of nonsense any shellshocked soldier might mumble under his breath, reasoning with ghosts. It is only the soft pathos that sets his vowels to shaking that betrays his awareness of Historia in the room with him. He is talking to her, even if his eyes can’t seem to settle on her face for long. His gaze patrols the perimeter, as if he expects even this quiet scene to devolve into open jaws and rattling chains soon enough. That is why he speaks at all, to plead guilty, to point on the absurdity of her pity. “All those soldiers. Armin.” His hoarse voice breaks haltingly over the name. It has been a good while since Bertholdt has spoken more than three words in a row. He is like some degenerate wolf child, dragged out of the woods, out of ferality, and back into civilization. “I did it on purpose and I watched. I deserved to be down there, that place...”

Bertholdt, what remains of him, that spindly thing, that skeleton at the kitchen table, finally resigns to look the queen in the eye. What a figure she cuts. This is the saddest girl he’s ever seen, and he feels nothing stir. They should be enemies and they can’t be friends. That leaves him in no man’s land, somewhere between paranoia and nostalgic affection. If she were Krista, he’d know what to do. But he has only met Historia once and she had nothing nice to say about him, did she? God, it’s been so long. He barely remembers anything that came before the cell. They made sure he’d only recall on their terms. So now he is left without pointers, without reference. Perhaps she simply is this way, this bleeding heart way. Maybe she thought by salvaging him, she’d manage to resurrect something. Or maybe this is a trap. Some sort of cruel device where they decide to give him a face he can learn to trust, where they dangle freedom in front of his face and watch him jump only to snatch it away last minute. They’d get a good laugh out of that, if he jumped. Bertholdt stays put.

“I still don’t understand why you took me away.”

Now we continue to how my brother talks about a waitress that works at Denny’s restaurant ethier in Black River Falls or Tomah. He says she’s prettier and skinnier than Shamula is and older than Shamula is what he says a lot about this waitress. We don’t know how tall, hair color, skin color, eye color of this waitress that my brother talks a lot about and we don’t know her name ethier. All I know from what I’ve over heard him saying is that this waitress is the one that always serves him and Shamula whenever they eat at Denny’s restaurant. His drinking buddy he talks to on the phone every night while Shamula is at work had asked him do you know if this waitress is single, married, has kids, has a boyfriend and my brother said no and admitted that he doesn’t talk to this waitress but wants to dump Shamula and ask out this waitress in front of Shamula. His other plan that he told his drinking buddy on the phone is that he’ll dump Shamula in front of our cousin Joe and his girlfriend Krista and leave Shamula at the bar with no ride. Sometimes he talks about how he wants to marry that waitress that he knows nothing about and doesn’t talk to and he says how he wants to invite Shamula to his wedding when he marries the waitress. He believes that this waitress wouldn’t control and boss him around and won’t beat him up, but his buddy did question that due to the fact my brother never had a black eye even though he claims that Shamula punches him in the eye a lot. And ever since 2016 to now my brother still says how beautiful that waitress is and how he wants to marry her and leave Shamula, but around our family and her family he says he wants to settle down some day is all. Back before he met Shamula he told our family flat out that he never ever wants to get married to anyone. Back when he use to never drink beer and chew tabaco he wore regular T-shirt or a button up long sleeve with carpenter pants and boots and he loved to go hunting and working on trucks and he would drive himself to Eau Claire to Scheels and Gander Mountain and our parents thought he had a girlfriend in Eau Claire and he claimed he didn’t. And he use to complain about anyone who goes out getting drunk at night and wasting money. Then his coworkers perpresured him into going out to bars and getting drunk to make a lot of friends and he almost died and the doctor don’t want him drinking beer. Our mom even made him feel pressured when she said oh maybe Shamula is waiting for you to buy her a promise ring and my brother acted like he really didn’t want to get Shamula a promise ring but he did anyway to make my mom happy. I know even our family when I was engaged to my husband that they pressured my brother and always asked him if and when is he going to marry Shamula and he’d roll his eyes and say no . On my brothers Facebook profile in most of the pictures of him with Shamula he doesn’t look happy but she is the only one that looks happy but he looks upset or like he doesn’t want to be with Shamula, but there are some he looks happy in though. Shamula had crossed her eyes and stuck her tung out at me when my brother first brought her over after he the night before told me how bad she treated him and how he doesn’t know how to tell Shamula it isn’t working out with him and her. My brother had Shamula propose to him and he said yes and now is going to marry her but he still behind her back talks about dumping her and leaving her for that waitress at Denny’s restaurant and our family and her family has no knowledge of him saying two different stories it’s only me and his drinking buddies that have heard and known. I don’t know if my brother said yes just to blow off Shamula and make our family happy but he still has a crush on that waitress and he still is in contact and let’s Jamie’s girlfriend ( asian ) flirt with him to this day. I know according to our mom he was talking about wanting a family but I feel that he wants to settle down but he doesn’t know with who he wants to marry. I feel that my brother should dump Shamula Antos and sell the house and figure out who he really wants to settle down with. My brother told his buddy that it was Shamula that forced him to get a house with her and he said that they couldn’t get a house loan cause they both have bad credit and she chewed him out cause they couldn’t get a loan but somehow they did and I don’t know how. My brother claims that he still wants to live with our parents and sleep in his own bed and not be around Shamula. I don’t know the whole story but this is what my brother told me or what I’ve over heard him saying. Shamula according to my brother makes him wear sandals and shorts which my brother would never wear. My brother claims that Shamula thought he’d go after my future niece and she told him that he can’t be (he told his drinking buddy) a groomsmen in my wedding or him and her are through. He also said that Shamula told him that she doesn’t want to be around if I’m there which I don’t want to be around if Shamula is around ethier.
