it’s been over ten years and there can still be no other way to describe parker and hardison’s reaction to eliot kicking the shit out of sterling other than pleased and horny

This is how the start of season 2 went and you can't change my mind.
Not sure if this has been done before or not

the season 2 finale of leverage is so good
The camera pulls out, and Nate is chained, he’s shot and bleeding, he’s collapsed, he’s under arrest, he’s surrounded by enemies, he still has Sophie’s handprint on his face. But he’s smiling and his eyes are all shiny and blue because he finally knows who he is.
Then sterling, when asked who he is, says “I don’t know”, because Nate has changed.
After several episodes where you start to wonder why Nate is the guy to root for (which makes sense because Nate is loathing himself) he finally has clarity as to his identity: he has a family, he’d die for them, he needs Sophie, and he’s a thief.

This is how he looks at Hardison, watching him manipulate a poor guy, as early as season 2.
Tell me this isn't love

One Dress a Day Challenge
The Men of September
Leverage ("The Lost Heir Job") / Timothy Hutton as Nathan Ford as Jimmy Papadokalis
Today's suit is truly awful, and it's supposed to be. It's an absolute symphony of a terrible suit meant to accompany Nate's alias as the quack lawyer Jimmy Papadokalis. The shirt, tie, and pocket square are all made of some gaudy, cheap-looking shiny material. The jacket is far too large, with weird tabs at the back and sides--for letting it out if it's too small, I guess?--and bizarre features like a ticket pocket and two buttonholes. The fact that it has the formally styled peaked lapels is just the icing on the cake of dreadfulness.
I salute the designers for finding a costume that so perfectly expressed the character wearing it. And I hope they went out and burned this thing when they were done with it. (Just kidding. The material would almost certainly melt and give off toxic fumes rather than actually burning.)

Was anyone gonna tell me Mikel Dayan was played by Noa Tishby or was I just supposed to find that out by accident myself

I have finished Leverage season 2
If you wanna see a guy who does crimes spiral HARD with unfortunate consequences, then oh boy is this the season for you.
Hope Nate is less insane next season, for everyone’s sake.
On other characters (including spoilers):
Eliot got some really nice standout moments for me (like the boxing/MMA episode).
Sophie’s absence highlighting how she’s the heart of the team was SO good.
Hardison is the season MVP for how much behind the scenes stuff he had to pull.
Parker is still the most relatable one for me.

Sophie is still the queen of horrible Zoom backgrounds, but this time we see her belly

It’s been a few days since I rewatched The Maltese Falcon Job and I’m still losing it over how Nate just goes *straight* to the “I need you”. Not “the team needs you / we need you / the team isn’t the same / this job fits you better” - just ... unequivocally telling Sophie that he needs her and *not* professionally.

Poor John Rogers. He’s gotta be feeling like a writer for The Onion trying to make an entertaining show about justice in an unjust world, and it all just. Keeps. Getting. Worse.

ok I need to know: has Eliot Spencer tried the curly girl method and how did it go? because I am convinced that his hair is naturally curly and I need them to stop straightening it/brushing it out. every time it gets wet, it gets wavy and I just… ::fans self:: imagine if his hair looked like this ALL THE TIME
Tumblr media
FURTHERMORE, what am I supposed to do with the knowledge that sometimes this man puts tiny little beads in tiny little sections of his hair just because. he likes to feel pretty.
