My CRK hot takes (character edition)

Yeah, you knew this was bound to happen. So, here are my Cookie Run Kingdom hot takes! Please do not read beyond this point if you are easily offended by someone else's opinion because I do not feel like listening to some of you guys whine in the comments.

So, here they are lol:

Ok, now let me explain my takes! I couldn't really fit everything into the comic, because they're just too small and I don't think I can do it justice. So, here are my explanations!

1.) "Black Pearl is an overrated character and didn't deserve to be Cookie of the Year."

I honestly do not understand why she’s so popular, other than that her design is pretty and she’s VERY good skill-wise. Other than that… there’s nothing really that I like about her. Don’t get me wrong, she’s not criminally offensive compared to other characters, but all she is to me is a simple rehash of Dark Choco Cookie’s character, but worse. If anything, Sherbert Cookie should’ve been Cookie of the Year and not her! He’s an amazingly written character compared to her and I actually feel very sorry for, unlike Black Pearl. The only reason why she got Cookie of the Year is that she’s pretty. That’s it.

2.) "Clotted Cream can go fuck himself."

I despise this character with a passion. I also do not understand the appeal of Clotted Cream. There is just something about him that I just do not like! The moment I laid eyes on him in Cookie Odyssey, I immediately thought he was the man behind the slaughter and I feel like that was also half of the fandom at the time when Cookie Odyssey was released. Do I even need to mention the scene where he confronts the ancients with Dark Enchantress Cookie’s identity? I mean, yes, it should’ve been said, but holy fuck he could NOT shut his fucking mouth! Besides, HE started the whole damn thing! If anything, Dark Cacao should AT LEAST knock some fucking sense into him. I would not be even mad. Also, he’s fucking annoying to me. Why does he not have a British accent?! WHY?!-

3.) "LicoPom is a good ship"

I stand by this and I shall explain myself now. Both Pomegranate and Licorice Cookie are shitty people and they both treat Dark Choco like garbage. The ONLY reason why people say this ship is bad is because Pomegranate is shitty towards Choco. Y'all, you DO realize Licorice also uses Dark Choco as a punching bag too, right? Not only does Licorice throw Dark Choco under the bus by mentioning him to get him in trouble, but ALSO calls him names. Not to mention that Licorice is treated the best by Pomegranate, compared to the others, and you can see that they care about each other (at least, Licorice does, at the end of episode 14, where he tells her that she's hurt and they need to retreat.) They deserve each other, honestly.

4.) "The Heroes of the Dark Cacao Update is THE BEST CRK Update."

Do I really need to explain why? I mean, this update is CARRIED by its story ALONE! Not to mention we got Dark Cacao: One of the BEST written characters in the entire game, Affogato Cookie, Caramel Arrow Cookie: Dark Choco's wife/j and certified Girlboss, and we got to learn more about Dark Choco Cookie as a character! Whoever says this update is bad is a liar-

5.) "Sea Fairy is a mid character"

I don't think I need to explain why. We know very little about her, even after the Mermaid update we only know that she's connected to the Mermaids and that's kinda it. I mean, I don't hate her at all, but I wish we had a little more info about her.

6.) "Pudding Cookie should be introduced into Kingdom for the next Krima update"

Ok, not much of a hot take but more of an opinion. I mean, c'mon! Look at her!! We need an update where she's introduced along with other Christmas Cookies with their own little story, like in ovenbreak! Please, Devsisters, do it-

Ok, that's all of my hot takes I have so far. I'm pretty sure I'm gonna lose some of my followers for these takes- (thank you for 400 followers btw!! It really means a lot!!) but I say it's worth it. Omg I just read your post with the Harbinger Cookie and I loved it so much ❤️ I was wondering, how each of the adult CoD (except Dark Enchantress) would react to the Harbinger softly asking for their hand?

Like— the cold, ruthless, horrifying harbinger that literally towers all of them being warm and even hesitant in that moment.

“My Lord/Lady….”

Pomegranate Cookie would feel greatly honored that it was her that you chose to wish by your side with the invitation of your hand. It’s to be expected, she is the cookie that followed your words down to the letter, the one who’s shown nothing but loyalty to you, to treat you with nothing but admiration being you’re the Harbinger (Cookie) of Darkness. (Don’t forget that shrine in her closet!)

“Hehe! I knew I was the favored one!”

Akin to Pomegranate, Licorice Cookie had always admired you for your feats of evil, spreading fear among those cookie do-gooders! These thoughts of praise could fill entire pages of a diary! (Not that he has one! Don’t be ridiculous!) So when it was him that you chose to take your hand, he gladly took the honor of holding it with his one. He couldn’t help but announce his victory against Pomegranate out loud!

“M-My liege! I would never make you regret trusting me!”

Affogato Cookie would get a bit flustered at first that the strong and all powerful Harbinger Cookie is offering their hand to them, a bit hesitant even! It only endeared you to him that much more with this act of emotional intimacy. He’d be happy to take your hand. Oh my! Your strong grip! It’s making him blush again!

Cookies Of Darkness with a curious reader

-platonic scenario-

Part 1 part 3

Butter Roll was obviously going to show you off to his fellow researchers and the Cookies Of Darkness! I mean he made a cookie with all of the ingredients unlike some cookies

Butter Roll definitely felt some superiority over Dark Enchantress and Matcha Cookie due to this

Well this obviously didn’t bother Dark Enchantress but man did it bother Matcha

Butter Roll was bragging about you non stop! It was VERY annoying

But the thing was you were less of a bragger, more on the quiet side but also on curious side which was a bonus for Matcha since she could get you to hate Butter Roll if she tried hard enough

But the first time you met Matcha you touched her staff, now granted you got a little electric shock but still, you were curious to see how to felt!

Now when you met Pomegranate Cookie you wanted to touch her mirror, but everyone and I mean EVERYONE said not to since that would be a horrible idea, even Pomegranate herself said it was a bad idea

So you just patted her on the head, and her hair was surprisingly soft!

Now Licorice Cookie was a different story, he wanted to ignore you, but you were too persistent!

Licorice set his staff down one day and you wanted to see how his staff felt. It felt smooth yet rough, and when you tried to pick it up you were very surprised to how heavy it was

When Licorice came back he snatched back his staff and held it with ease. I guess he’s stronger than he looks…

Now Poison Mushroom Cookie was very very chill with you, their head looked squishy so you squished it

The two of you are now friends, no questions asked

Now there are three cookies who will occasionally stop by, like Dark Enchantress Cookie

You felt her horns once but she snapped at you. So you kinda stay away from her

Now there’s Red Velvet Cookie, when he stops by it’s to either give a status update or to drop of ingredients

But when you first saw him, you wanted to see what his cake arm felt like

Now granted he was a little aggressive with you at first but once a panicked Butter Roll explained to him that you were freshly baked, Red Velvet calmed down

So whenever you want to touch his cake arm you have to ask, most of the time he’ll say no but if your lucky you will get a yes

And then there’s Affogato Cookie. He doesn’t come around much but when he does it’s a little chaotic

He’s sly. Very sly

The rest of the Cookies Of Darkness mainly Licorice try to keep you two away from each other.

Affogato will probably try to make you believe that he’s the only one worth listening to.

But if the two of you are alone, Affogato will let you feel the fur of his outfit, or the silk of his sleeves

But you do hear from Poison Mushroom that there are some more Cookies Of Darkness you’ve not met… you wonder if you’ll ever meet them

Hugging Headcanons || Ft: Some of the Cookies of Darkness

Had an odd few days, looking at requests now that school's out for the summer.

Requests are being actively worked on as you read this, don't fret, they'll be out soon.

Let us not wait any longer...

Licorice Cookie

You want a hug? Fine... but only because he felt like it! Not because he is touch-starved and craves affirmation.

He's extremely awkward about it, cautiously winding his arms around your shoulders. If given a moment, he'll adjust more, and it's surprisingly pleasant.

He's embarrassed about it afterward, though he did indeed enjoy it. "You better not tell anyone about this!" he threatens, though it carries no weight.

No worries, you wouldn't. However, Poison Mushroom did suspiciously start asking for hugs from Licorice more often after that.

Poison Mushroom Cookie

You don't even need to ask, they can, will, and have given you hugs before, regardless of if you've asked.

Typically, you will kneel down to their level, since they're short enough that they couldn't reach you very well.

Poison Mushroom loves it when you pick them up for hugs though- they will giggle the whole time, enjoying the feeling of being held.

They WILL try to do the little kid thing where they try to squeeze you as hard as they can- they are surprisingly strong, so be careful!

Red Velvet Cookie

No... Will you leave him alone afterward? He usually only gets affection from the cake hounds. He'll bear hug you out of spite, making you squirm and fight him to get free.

Whoops, enjoy the feeling of never being safe again since he'll sneak up behind you and trap you in his arms at random.

If it's a heartfelt hug, he'll pull you into his chest and rest his chin on your head (or shoulder depending on your height). He gives the kind that feels like they could shield you from the outside world.

Usually, there will be a swarm of cake hounds at your feet, crying for attention. Jealous little shi-

Pomegranate Cookie

Of all the cookies... her? Why would you want to hug her? She's slightly suspicious, but sure, just for a second though!

Usually, her hugs are an arm around your shoulder for a moment, she doesn't want to be taken for someone who is caring for her colleagues.

More meaningful ones, however, lead to you tightly wrapped in her arms, and usually last several minutes. She won't say a word during that time and silently asks that you don't either.

Due to her duties requiring her to be cold and uncaring, she isn't widely liked by most cookies. She must have done something right if you want to hug her, though.

I’ve noticed that there’s a severe lack of Wind Archer Cookie content on this blog, so here’s my pitch.

Y/N Cookie in the ‘Hidden Truth of the City’ story, trying to deal with Night Raven trying to kill Churro and The Cookiemals and trying to take them to Sugar Swan knows where-

“Y/N Cookie blocked the arrow!”

That was TOO close of a call. You had drew your blade at the nick of time to deflect a shadowed arrow aimed the Cookiemals, looking over at the culprit…

Wind Archer Cookie, or what you had now decidedly to call him in your head, the Night Raven..

“Darkness shall rule all…even to the most pure…”

Was it…so your suspicions were true then. You told the Cookiemals and Churro Cookie to go, you’ll hold off Wind Archer Cookie.

“No! Y/N Cookie, get behind me. My gauntlet will ward off all evil!”

“We’re not going leave you, Y/N Cookie!”

You had to tell them that you weren’t in any immediate danger, Wind Archer Cookie was here to bring darkness to this place, but he was also here for you.

“Join the Darkness, pure one…please do not deny the Darkness…”

“They will not go to you!”

The Night Raven shot many arrows, you and Churro doing your best to avoid or deflect them all.

It was getting too dangerous for you to handle when an arrow managed to hit the weapon out of your hand, winding you a bit.

“Embrace the Darkness with me…”

You yelled out for him to let you go when he suddenly flew right at you, hugging you tight and trying to fly off with you!

He retreated back when both the Cookiemals and Churro Cookie came to your rescue! You gave them your thanks…

“Right?! We’re awesome!”

Hehe, yeah. They were pretty awesome.

“Give me strength, Great Tree…”

“The scarlet poison gives me strength!”

Churro Cookie brought you right back to the direness of the situation, you tried looking around to give you an idea. Something!

He said scarlet poison…wait a minute, the throne! The pomegranate seeds! You called out the seeds on the throne to Churro Cookie! Wind Archer and those seeds might be connected!

“Come to me, pure one…”

“Great Wind…what has transpired with you? If the Sacred One is not responsible for spreading the pomegranate, that means you too are innocent…”

“I will cleanse the Darkness from within you!”

“The throne! Darkness must be purged from these grounds!”

Churro Cookie and his gauntlets started to glow once more, Wind Archer drew his bow and got to close range with Churro. You rushed in to help after getting your weapon, and the Cookiemals seemed to have had the same idea!

“Great Tree, hear my prayer…May your Millennial light shine within me!”

“The pomegranate seeds are melting away!”

Buttershell Fox was right, and the shadows were even going away from Wind Archer too!

Wind Archer got on his hands and knees, the darkness leaving him as he returned to normal…

“Wind Archer Cookie! Are you okay?”

“You…? The Cookiemals?”

“Your memory is back! We missed you!”

Wind Archer Cookie…

Wind Archer tensed up at hearing you calling his name, an expression of shock when he spots you there with the Cookiemals.

“Y-Y/N Cookie! I…ugh!”

You hurried to Wind Archer as he tried to go to you, but winced in pain at making a sudden move! You told him to take it easy!

“Y/N Cookie…please forgive me. The influence of the Darkness, it was too strong…”

Wind Archer Cookie…

He faced you as you say his name again, before you gave him a playful look.

He was such a silly cookie, hehe!

He was completely taken aback by your lighthearted answer, but..he couldn’t help but softly laugh himself. Then the Cookiemals joined in on the laughing.

Churro Cookie looked on at the display, unable to stop the slight smile on his face. You still carried your chipper attitude even after having to fight the Great Wind just a minute ago…

He’s starting to see what the Great Wind and the Great Tree were talking about you…

Your soul…may very well be the brightest he’s ever seen…

“Pffft! Ha! I told you so. I’d knew you’d fail!”

“Fail? My plan to lure and corrupt Wind Archer Cookie succeeded”

“But wasn’t there another plan you had? Hm?”

“Those meddling Cookiemals and Churro Cookie, were it not for them…”

“Face it! I’m going to be the one to get Y/N Cookie first! I have my Licorice Servants to help me carry out MY plan!”

“I will not allow those foolish ragdolls anywhere near them..”

“H-Hey! They’re not rag toys?! I’m just waiting for the perfect moment to make Y/N Cookie mine! Dark Enchantress Cookie will be over the moon and I’ll get first dibs!”

“Hmph! Matters with Y/N Cookie are assigned to me anyway. You’re welcome to try. The next phase of the plan is imminen, we must inform the Master at once!”

“Not if I inform her first!”

Pomegranate Cookie only looked on in annoyance as Licorice Cookie hurried away.

She looked behind her through the trees, seeing you laughing, enjoying yourself as you hung out with the cookies in the village.

She sighed…longingly as she pulled out her mirror and reflected it towards you, a faint glow emanating all around you.

“One day…you will join the Darkness, Y/N Cookie. When you do, I will be the first to welcome you with my embrace…”

Hey Kal! It's been a while! It's me! Hyper anon! Nice to see ya posting again! I actually got a request! I was wondering about what would happen if hyper baker was snatched up by the cookies of darkness but...hyper baker is just super nice to all of them and acting like their hyper self...maybe when the cookies come to save baker, they find the cookies of darkness trying to get baker down from a chandelier! Like they are confused how hyper baker even GOT up there! Think it would be hilarious....seeing the cookies of darkness deal with hyper baker's usual hyper chaos lol!

Hey hyper, its nice to be back writing again!

“Alright everyone, get ready!” Pure vanilla said.

Your guardians from the kingdom came to save you from the cookies of darkness.

They open the front doors and see you swinging on the chandelier, while singing Chandelier by sia. They dont know who Sia is so they thought you made the song on the spot.

“Baker! Please let us help get you down!” Licorice yelled.

“I wanna swing!- Huh, No!” Baker yells while swinging.

“Uhm, what should we do- um about that..”Lilac says stopping in his tracks.

Clink

The chandelier started to separate from the ceiling. You noticed but you were to busy trying to finish the song.

“Its starting to separate , bakers gonna fall!!” Red velvet yelled.

Everyone started to panick not know what to do.

Baker still kept singing. They never noticed the ladder that connects the chandelier to the next floors balcony. You noticed the chandelier almost about to fall and climb on the ladder back to safety.

“Instead of panicking, we need to get baker down-” Pomegranate Yelled.

Clink

…

crash

The chandelier fell to the ground. There were collective gasps around the room.

“Hi everyone!” Baker wave from the railing.

Everyone looked up at you, sighing in relief. Raspberry mousse was the first to speak up.

“How dare you all take Baker?!” Raspberry Mousse walked closer to the cookies of darkness.

“What gives you the right to keep bake-” Pomegranate started.

“Ok guys you’re all pretty! Now, can we play hide and seek? Im gonna go hide, bye bye!” Baker says while running off.

“Baker, Wait!” They all say in unison.
