AHH JUST FUCK IT—ART/LORE-ISH DUMP!!

Literally my last three recently finished(enough) pieces of 2023

Just for a recap—aka officially telling y’all what’s been up with me—

You see, along side my RBA-esque storyline will be other separate stories that kind of take place at the same time. Sort of, maybe, has a Trollhunters kinda timeline, or something? Let me just break it down into the main drafting titles(pending) I decided to give each sideplot:

- Roll Call Rescue Recruits: Some young transforming individuals attend Rescue Bots Academy, stationed on Griffin Rock and get up to some waaakcy hijinks with their new classmates while training to become Rescue Bots.

- Radiance In Disguise: A spoiled brat has to live with a rustic antique collector and his son, ever since her mother was arrested, and now her mother’s old enemies would have to go through giant alien robots if they even want to lay a finger on her.

- Reach Out To Reassemble: There’s a new Delinquent Rehabilitation Program in succession, and now it’s up to two bots to coach two young Decepticon criminals out of their violent habits; or else it’s prison for them.

None of these are in particular order by the way.

At least I think they aren’t.

#olivine has one of those giant totes that carries EVERYTHING u could ever need and even stuff you'll probably never need #juice and water for the entire team. 6 first aid kids. an entire pharmacy. cute lil bandages with the animal mascots on em #falsified passports of another country (for the whole family). because you never know. #the bag is cavernous and weighs as much as a bus #olivine carries it around like it's nothing #kuya has this tiny purse . idk. the strap is made up entirely of those metal chain link puzzles that he likes as intimacy gifts #fidget toy purse for kuya when he's bored (frequently) :) #the only thing in his purse is matches. #absoLUTELy kuya is stomping around in high heels and his fuzzy little boots at sunrise #whoever put those puffballs on kuya's sash in his SR design is seriously Biggest Brain #because that means i can now put kuya in all sorts of obnoxious clothing with puffballs #those glittery santa boots with puffballs all over em? kuya. #faux fur poofy coats that would make anyone else look like a moldy marshmallow? kuya. #olivine is actually sensible (not a peacock) and wears some nice comfy warm clothing. very soft. very inviting #will he expose his gem for slutty purposes #despite the brisk weather and dropping temperatures? #always. #a toasty warm olimom with a supportive smile and a bag of snacks. #i want olivine to give me a juice box 🥺 #kuya #olivine

i got curious when you mentioned having issues around the premise of the 2019's Little My adopted family issues episode. may i ask what it was about it that you didn't like? (if it's not too personal to share that is, otherwise no worries!)

While I find the idea of exploring Little My's family troubles to be interesting and full of potential, the way they went about it by making Brisk the might-be father and Little My trying to impress him is... Cringy.

And I barely use that word at all, mind you. It's like... I don't particularly get it and I feel like they only picked Brisk because they didn't have the time or budget to make a new character for this sort of plot, and even then I feel like they could've gone a different route story-wise that didn't require a Might-Be-My's-Father character, bring back Mymblemamma or something, I dunno.

Like there are alot of things they could've done and bringing back their bastardized version of Mr. Brisk using the scout master Brisk concept from a Lars comic even though they clearly just wanted to use Tove's comics and books feels... Like. They just suddenly established that Brisk is old enough to be Little My's father and they retroactively made his flirting with Snorkmaiden, who is a teen in the show, even more worse? What the hell??

I am a comic Brisk apologist and I simply do not condone this use of him. What is it with adaptations and making their one-off skier be crappier people, and then bring them back just to make them even worse? First my darling himbo the Skier Hemulen and now this?

#like i Went For A Walk just now—not even a big one‚ just around the little two-mile loop down past the summer grocery and back— #and it was already dark when i started and getting a little brisk but i suited up in my headlamp/big boxy down vest/warm stompy hiking boot #(freshly mink-oiled! look at yrs truly maintaining things!) #and brought a thermos of tea along—if i were a better artist i would do you guys a cute doodle‚ my Walk Getup is v adorable— #and it's just like. now i feel like i moved my body a little and went out into the cold and came back into the warm #and it's just like.
