part 3.5 and after chaldeas is destroyed and the world is back to normal, guda is being hunted! again! :D its normal for them and its normal to have 9 assassination attempts a week but this is getting annoying. they are going to go straight to a ditch and build a peaceful life at the bottom but noooo everyone wants them!! (either from lust or bloodlust, its hard to tell anymore)
theyre tired! theyre old! theyre 48 and 19 simultaneously, but they have to be on the run again . they have to save their skin again. they have to leave the safety of home again. they have to fight AGAIN.
ooooo- something is wrecking the future, senpai we gotta stop it! we have to clear 3- no, 5 pseudo-lostbelt/singularities again!!! mash, i havent gotten my paid leave yet. i havent finished applying to a course i li-
guda contacts all the underworld gods to see if they could manage a single accomodation for them for like a year so they could have a goddamn nap.
everyone fights for their custody. including, somehow, the 300+ Servants in the Throne
only gramps wins.

While it’s known that Tristan firstly named his Chickens Mordred 1, 2 and 3 until Mordred hunted him down, there is something that caused my interest a bit more…
Tumblr media
As for the Voice Line we know that he re-named them Pierre, John and Tarou. Besides the interesting choice of names and that all of them are roosters I was wondering… Who is Who? I made a little assumption who I think which of them goes by which name! Maybe in an Event one Day we get the Answer to this Question where he introduces us his friends properly, haha.

Guda learns from just being around heroes—Remember how she knew enough ninjutsu to rapid clothes change back in Luluhawa?
Better know she’s been getting lessons from the best. Master of All, baby!

now that i think about it, oberon has been keeping watch of guda the entire summer... so when guda entered with suzuka and artoria, he must have been relieved/smug...
-until he saw gawain, lancelot, and tristan in their swimsuits being guda's bodyguards www then he asked the nameless heroic spirit to unleash the new species of luluhawa chickens on them three www

2017 was the Year of the Rooster. Takeuchi used Birds as symbol for the Rooster in his drawings which includes Robin (a familiar of Alice from Mahoyo) and a little Tristan Plush.
Tumblr media
Funnily Summer Tristan got Roosters as Bird familiars as well. While this could be because of the Luluhawa Theme and Luluhawa is known for the Chickens, I wondered if in the back of their heads they connected Tristan with chickens/roosters in general - Tristan being connected to birds thanks to the words play Tori-Stan is nothing new but the focus on roosters is interesting!

An actually short fanfic for once. lol
BediGuda, 724 words - just the two, spending some time together.
It was one idle afternoon, a precious time when things were not so busy - the two of them free, last Master of Humanity, and he the silver knight who attends to the King of Knights.
A rare moment of peace, for them to lay together on the grass, Ritsuka curled up to Bedivere's chest, simply, quietly talking.
It was aimless chatter - reminiscence on hijinks in Chaldea, trying out a new recipe that the kitchen staff whipped up, a book they read together.
But the fact that they could do this -
That Bedivere, a knight once destined to fade from existence -
- he could do this. He could murmur into Ritsuka's ear words of a poem he'd loved -
“It went like this, Master -”
He kissed Ritsuka's ear, whispered words that rose and fell with rhythm, and Ritsuka lay still, blushing, face burning, heart pounding in her chest, wanting to laugh and run and shout, but she didn't, because here with Bedivere was the best place to be.
- laugh aloud over the latest mishap that happened to the unfaithful duo of the Knights of the Round Table -
“Melt was NOT having Tristan hit on her when he had just tried to woo Suzuka Gozen -”
“Oh, Sir Tristan. His courage...knows no bounds, but so does his bad judgement -”
“And Lancelot was chatting up Lip with motives in mind, but Mash saw him -”
“Ah, yes, I suppose everyone at Chaldea must have heard Sir Mash slamming Sir Lancelot into the near wall at what must have been the speed of sound!”
“Mash was sorry about the wall - er, walls she busted, she mowed through more than one, so that's why me and her and the Nemo Marines were fixing the walls -”
“Ahaha! Er - my apologies, Ritsuka. I didn't mean to laugh at you. And um, it is imprudent to laugh about my comrades' misfortunes, no matter if they brought it upon themselves.”
“Too late Bedi, I heard you laugh! You're so mean, laughing at your best friend like that, he he.”
“...well it is amusing, I cannot deny. Pfft. I mean, ahem. My sincere apologies, Master. I think I was helping with putting out the tea service for the afternoon so I was not there to curb Tris nor Sir Lancelot, but rest assured, next time -”
“Next time? So you know Tris is gonna do it again?”
“Unfortunately, of that, I am completely certain.”
“Pfft, ahaha, Bedi!”
“He he, well, next time, do come tell me, or Sir Mordred, Sir Gareth and might as well call Sir Percival too - I know Mordred will be quite happy to put Tris and Lancelot and in line -”
Ritsuka smirked and reached up to touch the tip of Bedivere's nose with a finger.
“Oho? And are you looking for a reason to bully Tris, too?”
Bedivere put on a thoughtful look, and spoke slowly, as if musing something.
“Nothing of that sort, of course! But he may need a gentle reminder that he has yet to pay back the debt he owes me during our time at Luluhawa…”
Oh, how Ritsuka laughed, the sound of it bright and happy and sweet to Bedivere's ears.
He found himself laughing too, in delight.
- to stay quiet as well, holding hands, Bedivere's left arm wrapped around Ritsuka's shoulders, his right hand clasping Ritsuka's left, their fingers linked, flesh and bone and silver.
He would stroke Ritsuka's back, and Ritsuka would snuggle close, relaxing, even dozing off, her breathing going deep and even.
And Bedivere would close his eyes as well - he didn't need to sleep, being a Servant -
But being with his beloved like this -
It felt so warm, so safe and secure.
It felt like home.
“Bedivere....”
Ritsuka's fingers squeezed, and Bedivere blinked awake, already alert.
“Thank you. For being here with me.” The words were a quiet murmur, barely audible.
A soft breath, hesitation, and Bedivere didn't say anything, simply waited, listening -
“Not just today - for answering my summons. For being by my side, all this time. Thank you…for loving me.”
In the quiet, there was only the sound of grass rustling in the breeze and the creak and clicking of metal, as Ritsuka squeezed Bedivere's hand.
And the knight's reply didn't need words, as he drew Ritsuka close in a hug.
“Of course…”
Know this, dearest to my heart. I feel the same way, too.

❝ I can’t believe they are here too. ❞ Archer sighed, exasperation clear in his tone. There was something very wrong with that place, when Geronimo mentioned the entire location was cursed the bowman did take the wise native man’s word but it was certainly rather… obnoxious. The wildlife getting all worked up to eat the curry and now the chicken that came all the way from Luluhawa? Sure, his luck have never been his forte but that was starting to be a little too coincidental! Not to mention the mysterious amnesia child—far from him to be suspicious of a child, but he had seen some very dangerous enfants terribles. ❝ I wonder if it is safe to eat if we cook it right… ❞ No wait, that wasn’t the thing he should be focusing ❝ -- if Lancer has done his job right we won’t need to get to this point. In any case, I believe we can continue to explore now. ❞

I am also suffering from 'can't work without a prompt' so I'm here to put one in your inbox but I don't know any guys from your animes so you'll have to pick which one to write about for this one l: “I picked a bad time to become a decent person.”
HILARIOUSLY i was just poking at thoughts abt a character who this would fit perfectly, so here have some thoughts i’m trying to put together through a drabble
----
It was, for a moment, incredibly tempting to throttle the woman in front of him. Deeply so. And yet, for some reason, he didn’t.
(He knew the reason. But if that man could be a world champion of denial, so could he.)
“Why are you like this,” he asked instead, voice flat and hoarse from disuse, with an undercurrent of irritation despite his best efforts (or maybe due to them, he wasn’t certain anymore). “Why.”
She just grinned at him. “You know the answer to that,” she teased. “I’m incurably reckless and terminally diagnosed with Hero Syndrome. And maybe I just like messing with you.”
“I don’t think I would say maybe,” he snapped. “You could have died, you realize. I could list the ways it could have happened, but I’d have to choose whether to do so chronologically or in order of severity, and we would be here far, far too long.”
She had the gall to raise her eyebrows. “Because you’re just dying to run away again, right?” She asked. “I mean, I’m actually looking at you straight on this time! That’s new.” She paused. “When was the last time you had a shower?”
“First of all, that’s completely irrelevant,” he told her. “Second of all, where are your Servants? Where is--” A pause, hopefully too brief to be noticed, though he has little faith it slipped her nosy insight. “--Kyrielight?”
By the widening of her grin, that slip had been caught. Damn it.
“Mash and everyone are around!” She reassured him with a laugh. “This isn’t exactly a Lostbelt, remember? It’s just a holiday Singularity. I’m allowed to wander off!” She had the grace to, here, at least look sheepish. “I...maybe should be more careful where I step, though. I’m learning self-defense but those chickens were definitely the nasty, out for blood, peck me to death kind. I mean, though, seriously, where did the evil chickens come from?? The first time I saw them was Luluhawa, though, so probably--”
He groaned. “The origins of the homicidal farm animals are beside the point,” he grumbled. “They could have killed you. And had you fled in the other direction, it would have been right into a nest of chimera. Do you have any spatial awareness at all?” He grimaced. “Really, I’d assumed the Singularity had been dealt with.”
“It has,” she said with a grin. “You should know these things last a few more days after we de-Grail them. Let me have some last ditch summer fun, okay?”
...alright, no, he really was going to throttle her. His hand connected with his face hard. “And nearly getting pecked to death by angry roosters is your idea of summer fun these days?” He asked, voice faintly muffled. “Why did I bother? I should have let you die. It would have served you right. You need to learn that actions have consequences.”
“Why didn’t you~?” She asked, leaning forward. “I mean, you’ve been pretty hands off and all so far.” She paused, looking insufferably smug; she must have picked up the expression from the King of Uruk, ugh. “You care. You caaare about me, don’t you?”
He looked at her with as much disgust and annoyance as he could muster. “I do no such thing,” he said, attempting to sound disdainful, though it only managed to come off as defensive. “You’re all idiots. It--” He huffed. “It would be a damned pathetic end to this if you died being eaten by a chicken in one of these low-risk, inconsequential, ridiculous Singularities. That’s all.”
“Mmmmhm,” she said, disbelieving. “You like us idiots, though.”
“I do not!” He snapped, startled at the fact he’d raised his voice. “You-- tch, I picked the worst time to decide to allow myself a bit of basic decency. I’m leaving.”
She beamed at him, undeterred. “Awww, saving my life is ‘basic decency’, you really do care!”
“...and I will let you get eaten next time,” he told her flatly. “See if I don’t.”
He spun on a heel to depart, already casting the spell that would take him outside the Singularity -- he had places to be, after all, there were still two Lostbelts remaining -- and still he heard her behind him.
“You mean like the time with Sheba and the leopard?” She asked sweetly, and his breath hitched in surprise before he could catch it. “She told me about that one a while back.”
Well. He had nothing to say to that, save to finish his spell and leave. Damn it all, that woman was impossible. Absolutely impossible.
...why did he always end up fond of the impossible ones? That man had no explanation to give, either, and in all his wisdom, that was one of the few questions that remained unanswered...one of the riddles he couldn’t solve, so to speak. If he had to be sentimental about it.
Tch. That man had left him more sentimental than he once was. He knew that. And still, it blindsided him at the worst moments. He had a duty to carry out now, again, and his messy, human sentiment would just get in the way. And yet...and yet, her laughter and her smile still lingered in the back of his head, as it always did.
(Perhaps one day, she would be the one to welcome him home-- no. A foolish notion, yet more unnecessary sentimentalism. He had no more wishes left, after all.)
