ENCANTA, THE INVISIBLE CITY

At the heart of San Andres is a city invisible to human eyes. A paradise to the otherworldly, a danger to the mundane—most times.

Antonio de Guzman described Encanta as “a gigantic luminescent city” in one of his journals. A wonderland of earth and wood combined, glistening under the ever-changing light of floating lanterns and fireflies large as the monkey-eating eagle. (Some of the lanterns were Santelmos passing through the city.)

Humans who saw the city—accidentally or otherwise—described it as “a golden city in the middle of the wilderness.”

There are five ways to reach Encanta. One in every cardinal region of the archipelago. The fifth one lies in Encanta, San Andres, at twilight. (It goes without saying, only Maharlika holds the map to these exact locations.) The border between the mundane and the otherworldly disappears when it is neither day nor night. Thus, making the unseen seen, opening the entrance to both realms. (The key is to be in the exact place at the right time.)

Old folks had shared their stories. “Mahiwaga,” they said.

Napadaan ako sa twitter. Saktong nakita ko 'yung tweet ni Nadine Lustre sa bago niyang vlog. Ilang oras rin akong naunuod ng kung anong mga vlogs na kung saan kasama siya hanggang napadpad ako sa isa niyang pelikula na hindi ko pa napapanuod pero balak kong panuorin dati pa.

Sobrang mahiwaga ng Ulan. Kakaibang konsepto. Puno ng iba't-ibang uri ng pagmamahal.

Gustong-gusto ko yung glimpse sa childhood era ni Maya. Makikita na nag-iiba talaga tayo ng pananaw sa mundo habang paglaki. Kitang-kita kung paano kapuno ng curiosity ang mga bata. Kung paano niya natuklasan ang pag-ibig at kung gaano rin ito kasakit.

Maya seeks love through other people and when she finds it, her world will turn and then being hurt in the end. Ulan tackles the love that we all need to learn, self-love.

AHHH. Ang hirap magmovie review kapag di mo madescribe yung feeling mo. Ang alam ko lang I enjoyed this film and I need more of these!!!

Just wanna share how happy am I today. Because today, this first friday and first day of July, legal na kami ni Roby dito sa bahay. My parents know na kami na. 💖

I found a post somewhere where the bride was saying how she now understood why ben and ben chose the word pipiliin instead of mamahalin during her vows and I think- please love me couple have that thing too.

Like after everything they’ve been through, they’d always choose each other and i’m living for it.
