Now that this is hiding behind a readmore i can justify writing an essay in here. Nothing big tho i am just very chatty :)!

Postgame where Peppino still gets visits every now and again from the bosses of the tower. I already drew one for the noise (lmao) but i wanted to draw each of the main four interacting with him in some way.

Pepperman is a refined and well renowned artist. His art is highly sought after and his advice is not taken lightly. He has many MANY fortunes to pull from to make his visions a reality and to influence anyone to do anything. Except for Peppino.

From the very first fight, Pepperman is immediately, overwhelmingly obsessed with this stout little brawler. He is much much more than what meets the eyes. He is initially extremely offput and annoyed that a human so boldly decided to waltz into his domain, and he expects to be able to steamroll and bully this…beast…out of his place of work. He is refined when he wants to be, but he is quick to use his brute strength to get what he wants if only bc he knows he can do it

And so when he decides to fully charge and thrash this little trembling human, expecting him to skitter away the second he gets struck, he is completely unprepared for when he gets launched to the other end of this room. The human looks so incredibly PISSED, like a bull seeing red, and suddenly this little altercation suddenly became a real actual ‘knock your teeth out’ brawl. This human is only like half his height, but his punches and bashes fucking knock the wind out of him.

And like ! To add insult to injury!!! After he wins the fight! He visibly deflates, the adrenaline seemingly wearing off. Hes just this trembling fuckin whelp again !!! Whimpering as he fucking runs back out through the portal to do god knows what. And Pepperman could not be any more fucking intrigued. Like this no name came in, whooped his fuckin ass, and went about his day. Its unreal

While Peppino is running around climbing the tower, Pepperman is in his room losing his mind. Hes obsessed. No one has challenged him in this way. No one has fought him and WON. He is ALWAYS able to bully people into submission either through brute force or with money, and he got his ass handed to him !! He needs to know more. Its quite literally consuming him.

Cut to the final fight, set up for a rematch; and he knows he is going to get steamrolled again but it is SO exhilarating to get another chance to see this humans form up close again. This time he can try to commit everything to memory. Its all such a blur though, and in a quarter of the time it took to end their first fight, its over. He gets to watch the human fight the gunslinger with his bare hands, no gun necessary, and he doesnt even bat an eye at what looks to be a clone of himself. He is a force of nature tearing through every single defense, and when Pepperman watches the actual final fight with the bizarre little pizza man, its like hes caught in a movie. The rain, the storm, the atmosphere. He wishes he could burn the entire scene into his mind.

So when everything returns to normal, he takes the time to travel for days to come and find this little human named Peppino. The memory is still strong and vivid but eventually, details will start to slip his mind. He needs to find this human, convince him to sit and do some still life sessions with him to help cement the humans appearance in his head. He hasnt had to resort to…asking for permission for anything in a loooong time…he bullies people into doing what he wants but Peppino is not your average person, and if he wants something from this man, he’ll have to meet him at his level.

He...can make an exception for Peppino...he supposes.

(This is part of an AU and a LOT OF TEXT asdfg) WHAT IF.... That weird deformed shape of Fake Peppino (AKA Bruno) is actually that way because of a brain problem (known as TBI)? That would explain that peculiar way of behaving (Silly? Goofy? Childish? Doesn't think straight? Doesn't know what he's doing? Almost 0 common sense, that almost permanent expression on his face, that strange way of moving... He is doing his best to stay on his feet and not melt completely (even if it shows a bit), he can barely speak coherently, among many things (WE MUST PROTECT HIM).

I'd like to think that the brain is the only organ he has, because the rest is just... Mmh, slime? amalgam? xD, it could be a HUMAN brain that Pizzahead (his creator) got (I like to think he is actually someone insane in a bad way and too different when it comes to his lab, just pretending to smile, hints of psychopath), that brain belonged to another chef, here I clarify about getting 2 adns: Peppino and Bruno (this last I mean the one from the abandoned pizzeria and yes, he is dead, where the hell Pizzahead was going to get that brain from? Actually dead for trusting a humanoid pizza)

So Fake Peppino has 2 adns? Yeah, that makes sense... Although Peppino and him don't look quite the same (Although Pizzahead's goal was that, to be the perfect impersonator), except for the clothes BUT here comes my favorite part, his stable form. 

Actually, his brain problem can be treated, he would still have 2 forms: stable and unstable, this unstable form is the one we all know, it would be present whenever he feels threatened, in danger or any other negative emotion (although he can take any form whenever he wants and be a mix of both forms).

Some history: Bruno is the first "clone" to be created, it went well, everything was perfect and one more minion... UNTIL... Pizzahead has a complicated, abusive, stupid, manipulative and ignorant attitude, basically he never treated him well, it started with scolding and even abuse (And yup! it was Pizzahead himself who caused him great injury) Why? He is a demanding and perfectionist guy, the clone had to come out EQUAL to Peppino (the irony is that he hates him and only does it to fuck up his life, to be able to replace him with some of the SO MANY clones out there) at the time he thought it was a GOOD IDEA to mix both adns and come out the same as the original, I repeat that this guy is an idiot?

Something funny is that after that he made other prototypes of clones (Classified as second generation idk) but these... None came out well, they are aberrations and can be found in a frozen chamber, he doesn't want to relive that moment and kept trying until he finally succeeded, the famous Peppino clones that can be found everywhere in the lab, inferior versions, weaker and more animal behavior than the first "clone".

Here comes another problem, Pizzahead paid more attention and was nicer to those clones, making Bruno jealous and annoyed, he never received a good treatment from him (Still he was loyal) and he had to fix and clean up all the atrocities the clones did, that means ALL the time, he could not defend himself and lived in silence, developing a great hatred towards them, precisely his behavior changes drastically to the most aggressive, just hearing a "croak" makes him angry (MODO BERSEK GOES BRR)

Many years enduring physical and emotional pain until he ends up in what? In an abandoned pizza restaurant? Just him being abandoned being very bad in all aspects? Completely alone for years, the only contact he had with others were those clones that invaded his "new home" (explaining why there are so many peppino corpses in that pizzeria).

Bruno still has that silly and innocent personality, sensitive but at the same time disturbing if something bothers him. Paternal sense, playful and a big fan of Peppino, sometimes he annoys him by imitating him HAHA. Does he keep that frog behavior? YES! It's not as obvious as the clones because he knows how to control it. 

At the beginning he doesn't like to be touched, after all the problems he went through he doesn't even know if there are good people in this world, so gaining Bruno's trust is a bit complicated but if you talk nice to him (as you would do with your pet XD) the interaction will be effective. 

Does he have traumas? Besides he doesn't want to see Pizzahead and the clones again, or there will be a massacre, it's the first time someone is nice to him, he's afraid of abandonment and losing the little progress he has made... AND NEVER EVER SEE OR HEAR ANYTHING RELATED TO ANY LABORATORY AGAIN, his life was hell there, anything related either scares or angers him.

Siren Tower Maurice, Doise and Peddito!

I just realized Doise's gloves should be more white but I'm too lazy to change that, just imagine they're white okay?

Maurice

Peppino's older brother and a piece of shit, who constantly belittles him and calls him a disappointment. His apartment has water damage or something similar, or maybe it got destroyed, so now he temporarily lives with Peppino until his flat is repaired. (Alternative: he didn't pay rent and got kicked out, continues not to pay rent to Peppino because "we're family, you can't charge your own brother.") He's either divorced or his girlfriend left him, is only allowed to see his son once a month. It's probably for the better.

Peppino is incredibly fed up with him but he tries to endure it, until he one day snaps and probably slaps him, they end up both kicking the shit out of each other (but Peppino is stronger because i said so).

Maurice invites himself to poker night and other activities Pep and the others do after work times, then complains that he's bored or something (M: "This sucks, why did you invite me?" P: "I didn't??"). He gets along a little with Mr. Stick, but only because they're both gamblers, he's somehow even more unlucky than Stick and keeps losing almost all his money. Doesn't get along with Hazel cause he doesn't take her seriously, thinks she's childish and stupid.

Doise

Goblin shark. He's basically Noise but blue. Noise hates him because he thinks Doise is imitating him, but they're just the same species of siren. He's a little more mellow and doesn't go feral as much or as easily as Noise. He throws rocks cause he doesn't know he's immune to sea urchin and puffer fish poison / venom. He can also go on land but needs water nearby.

He has heterochromia (one eye is blue, the other is purple-ish brown), and has the same "whiskers" as Noise, just turned down.

Absolutely terrified of Peddito, as he seems to always want to kill him, and has tried doing so a few times. Sometimes plays dead hoping that Peddito leaves him alone, it doesn't really work though.

Peddito

A failed clone of Peppino, made before Fakey. Pizzahead didn't like him as much because he didn't get the eyes right so he threw him out (basically the Other Eye problem, but he ended up leaving his eye sockets empty out of frustration). He can't see because of this, but he can still navigate through the water effortlessly. There's way less sea creature DNA in him, so he looks almost completely human just with a fin on his back and webbed hands. It's unclear where his vibrant coloring comes from.

He's strangely obsessed with Doise for some reason and doesn't interact with anyone cause he's just not interested in anyone else. He actually wants to be friends with Doise, but since Pizzahead designed him to be a killing machine, he doesn't know his own strength and ends up almost killing Doise several times. His "killer side" comes out every time he's near Doise, and he can sense his presence because of this.

When not near Doise, Peddito seems almost dead, he moves very little, and is unresponsive. He can't talk, neither human nor siren language, but he understands both. He doesn't swim, just floats through the water like a dead fish, despite this he's incredibly agile and fast. Would follow Doise on land, and could survive with pretty much no problems. He just slides across the floor when on land, as if he was on rails. The bottoms of his feet are always slippy, making it easier for him to move. Might leave a trail wherever he goes.

'I don't know what you're-a trying to say…' Peppino sighed, exasperated. He went to turn away, when-

'Pe-Pino.'

The voice… it was his voice, but the cadence was just slightly off. An imperfect mimicry, but close enough that it immediately fired every panic neuron in his brain at once.

A little piece of writing to nail down the vibes im going for with my interpretation of Fake Peppino! Having a normal fun day in the kitchen where nothing uncomfortable or weird happens.

'Pe- pi- no.'

Peppino tried not to flinch when he felt the heavy wet hand on his shoulder and the voice gurgling in his ear. Deep breaths- okay. He inhaled sharply and grit his teeth, bracing himself before he turned around.

It hadn't been easy, getting used to… that thing. Fake Peppino, as he had been calling it in his head. But he did feel admittedly a little guilty for destroying the tower- its home, really- and it didn't ask to be made like that. Still, he wished it hadn't decided to stick around sometimes. He'd spent an entire week just trying to make sure it didn't attack him on sight! And even then, it STILL chased him from time to time...

But he had reached an uneasy accord with his doppelganger, or at least thought so. He seemed more sedate at any rate, and Peppino had even managed to talk it into helping in the kitchen- which is where he was now, spreading a ball of dough thin with his knuckles, before he was so rudely interrupted.

He turned and forced a smile, trying to cover up his nerves with fake confidence. Ghh- he never got used to seeing him. His fake looked like him, but… uncanny. Stretched. Something wearing the wrong size of his skin. It made a weird bubbling noise- Peppino had come to learn that was its 'excited sound'- and grasped his wrist to tug him to the other side of the kitchen.

'Okay, o-kay! Slow down- whats-a the rush, paisano? What do you want to-a show me?'

Peppino tugged his wrist free and returned his hands to their comfortable position, tugging nervously on his tank top. Fake Peppino had dragged him over to the pizza oven. It was a great brick thing- a traditional piece and easily the most expensive thing in the whole restaurant, but also something he would never sell. After all, what kind of a pizza chef would he be without his pizza oven?

His clone straightened up then, drawing an involuntary shiver out of Peppino. It looked at him. Peppino looked back. He briefly made eye contact, watching as the fake's right eye slowly dribbled down his face- he glanced away before it started to make his heart pound any louder.

'Ah… what? What is it?' He mumbled again, shrivelling a little under the unyielding gaze. He may have been his clone, but they apparently didn't copy the part of him that hated prolonged eye contact, ugh. He chanced another look. His double was looking at him almost expectantly.

Suddenly, he raised an arm- quick enough to make Peppino flinch. But he didn't strike. He simply pointed- one finger poking Peppino in the chest. Then he moved his hand to point at the oven, the heat of which was beginning to make even more sweat bead on his forehead.

'I don't know what you're-a trying to say…' Peppino sighed, exasperated. He went to turn away, when-

'Pe-Pino.'

'Peppinos. Pi- Za.' The fake nodded, looking pleased- then slapped one hand down on Peppino’s head, crushing his chefs hat down and drawing a yelp of surprise out of him.

'Peppino. Pi-zza.' The words sounded smoother as he rolled them around his mouth, smiling wide enough that his teeth looked as if they were about to drip out of his lips. He pushed Peppino a little closer to the oven- his heels dug into the ground instinctively. The heat was oppressive... 'Peppi-no. Pizza.'

Peppino froze. He had learnt not to run- bolting only excited his fake. He stood stock still, even as its face slowly lowered to his. His eyes widened- there wasn't anywhere else to look but into his own distorted visage, the oven's heat only causing it to drip more. Oh, god, it was dripping everywhere…

His hands balled into fists, ready to react, but his body seemed stuck. Damn his freeze instinct-! He held his breath as his fake tilted his head curiously, and then laughed. A bubbling gurgle, face practically split in two.

'Pizza. is. Peppi-no.' He said, happily. Peppino couldn't bring himself to figure out what exactly that meant, because the only idea he had right now- well, the heat wasn't helping, and his vision was blurring, and it wasn't good…

'Peppino. Pizza. Nothing. Compares!'

All of a sudden, he was pushed back. Away from the heat, a cold blast of air hitting him as the doppelganger shoved him. All at once Peppino’s body reacted, scrambling back along the floor and breathing- wheezing, really- trying to get enough air in his lungs so he didn't pass out. All the while he watched as the wax figure of himself dripped like a candle in the heat, spun on its heel happily and giggled.

'Not- yet!' It smiled, face still firmly turned to look at Peppino even as its entire body twisted 180 degrees to stick to the nearest wall- his neck creaked with the strain, more of its doughy flesh sloughing off onto the floor as he moved away from the heat.

'Cook.' It's hand found one of the open vents- it's favorite hiding spots. 'Let him. Cook. Not ready!' It smiled, eyelids squeezing shut happily over misshapen sockets, tongue lolling out the side of its mouth.

'Later? Pizza later. Nothing Compares...' He mumbled, voice softening as Peppino could only watch in wide-eyed terror as it folded itself in half to slide into the narrow vent- he'd seen it many times but he still wasn't used to it. The wet sounds of a body moving in ways it shouldn't, the scrape of the metal... As it pushed itself into the darkness, Peppino saw its face- his face- the last thing to disappear.

'Peppino. Pizza...? Soon...'

And then it was gone.

He didn't move.

Honestly, he stayed on the floor for an uncomfortably long time.

After what felt like hours, his body finally decided to return the feeling to his joints- and all at once he scrambled upright. What- what was that? He thought…

He thought he was reaching… some kind of agreement with that thing. But clearly it was still far, far beyond his understanding. And what it said- no. No, Peppino shook his head violently. He didn't want to think about it. Because if he thought about it, it sounded an awful lot like...

No. No, no, no. That was silly. He just needed to get back to work. He needed to push this out of his mind and forget it ever happened.

He stumbled over towards his pile of pizza dough. Looking down at it, he couldn't help but feel… uneasy, suddenly. A wave of strange nausea rose in his chest.

Maybe… maybe that was enough pizza for one day.

headcanon on seeing cute stuff idk what else to ask for but I needed to ask somethign

Purposely doing this one after an angsty post.

How do the act when they see something cute?

Peppino: Smiles brightly! He's suddenly filled with great joy and forgets all of his problems! He even baby talks to it with a high pitched voice.

Gustavo: Probably puts his hands to his cheeks and does the pogchamp face. He's so struck! He points and smiles, just look at it! Can he hold it? He wants to hold it!

Mr. Stick: This thin man suddenly turns into a little school girl. He puts his hands to his cheeks and goes, "Eeeee!!" How cute! He wants to poke it, but only if he's allowed to.

Pepperman: Oh... My... GOD... He MUST draw this thing IMMEDIATELY. Can he hold it? He promises he won't crush it. Can he just borrow it for a bit? He needs it as reference so he can draw it as accurate as possible.

The Vigilante: "Well, I'll be damned! Look at that thing! Innit just the cutest?!" This old man is filled with glee. His smile is so long that it could be used as a bridge over an ocean. He looks at it with pride as if it's his own.

The Noise: "I WANT IT I WANT IT I WANT IT!!" He wants to hold it and pet it. He will tippy tap with his feet and hold his hands out. Maybe don't let him take it, cause he'll start running away with it. (He did this with an opossum once.)

Noisette: She squees and squeals with uncontrollable excitement. She will hop up and down. She wants to hold it and squeeze it and nuzzle it with her face. She wants to boop its little nose. Can she keep it? Please please please please please please PLEEEAAAAAASE????

Fake Peppino: Screams! Hops around. He doesn't know what this feeling is! He's excited! He wants to bite it, he wants to hug it, he wants to squish it! He wants to eat it! Can he? No? Okay, he will just sit and look at it with a giant smile on his face. (Just keep an eye on him.)

Pizzaface: Aw, look at the little thing. He'll hover over it and just observe it. What's it doing? Walking? Oh my god, that's so cute. What's it up to now? Drinking water? With that tiny little mouth? That's crazy.

Pizzahead: Holy wowza! That thing is flippin' cute! He pets it immediately. He might pluck a hair so he can try and make a clone of it. He wants one for himself! He wants to snuggle it and tuck it into bed. He wants to read it a bedtime story. Golly... It's so nice to see something so cute in such a wretched tower.

Pillar John: "AAAAAAAH!" John! You're scaring it! He wants to cuddle it, but he's afraid he might crush it. So he'll kneel down and pet it. He thinks it's the best! Can he like, have visitation rights or something? He'd ask to keep it, but he doesn't think he has the responsibility. And, ya know, he doesn't want to crush it.

Gerome: Oh... Well, look at that. What a nice creature, he thinks. It's relieving to see something so cute in the ugly tower. He'll give it a pat on the head. And what... Is that a SMILE?? ON GEROME'S FACE??? He'll try to show it to John. He thinks John would love it.

Pep is a sweet and goofy not-quite-person, with a curious mind and a heart of gold. He likes to see the best in others and help out, but sometimes he gets caught up in his anxieties, and becomes avoidant and skittish.

Pep can only speak backwards, but he can repeat phrases he's heard to 'speak' forwards, albeit slightly distorted.

Pep is not very aggressive, but will become violent if provoked, or if he feels that his friends are being threatened or in danger.

When meeting another Clone, Pep will observe them and try to match their energy; Playful if the clone is excited, Calm if the clone is frightened etc

More detailed information under cut!

Pep is the 'Fake Peppino' that Peppino fought in the tower, and then rescued as the tower fell. Being created in the tower, Pep did not have anywhere to go, and he ended up living behind Peppino's Pizzeria, sleeping in a box and eating from the dumpster for about a month.

Pep found a mysterious device that speaks to him, often asking questions and able to summon items for him. This 'box of a thousand voices' gave Pep the confidence to talk to Peppino, who he had not seen since fighting on the top of the tower, and had been avoiding as he was scared of fighting again, or worse.

Peppino has allowed Pep to stay with him for a while, until he finds a place of his own. Pep is also helping out in the pizzeria, with his new friends.

Being a clone, Pep was spliced with several types of DNA, giving him some interesting traits and abilities. He appears to be living pizza dough, warm, squishy to the touch and much lighter than expected, but he is able to change his form, becoming more liquid and sticky or more solid, but he is almost always 'dripping' in some way, usually on his arms, neck, cheeks and chin.

Pep will become more 'melty' and his form becomes more unstable when he is anxious or upset, while becoming angry or being frightened causes him to fluff up much like a cat.

Pep's 'clothes' are not actually clothes, and are not removable, but he is able to shift his form around, making it appear that he is wearing something else, or even appearing as someone else. Pep cannot hold more complex forms for too long, though, often needing to eat and rest a lot during and afterwards.

Since they are an extension of himself, Pep is able to use his apron ribbons as extra limbs, with each ribbon able to lift and carry about 50 pounds (22KG). The bow and ribbons of his apron are often an indicator of Pep's mood, akin to a dog's tail; Wagging when he is happy, tucked under himself or wrapped around something when nervous etc

Pep's tongue is long and prehensile, often using it to grab food or as an extra limb. Due to the length, Pep often leaves it hanging out of his mouth, but this also has another purpose; Pep is able to 'taste' the emotions of others around him. It is usually very faint, and he usually doesn't notice it, but the strong the emotion, the stronger the taste.

Pep does not produce any bodily fluids, his body instead 'melting' in the spots where it should be; Eyes 'melt' instead of producing tears, Tongue and Mouth 'melt' instead of drooling etc. Pep does not have blood, nor bones (besides teeth), but he is able to solidify parts of himself to give the illusion of bones.

Pep is able to digest most materials, and not get sick from old food, but he does prefer fresh food, especially sweets and pizza, of course! He frequently 'eats' inedible items, storing them inside himself in like a bird's crop, and then which he can regurgitate back up.

Pep adores affection, and enjoys being in close contact with those he trusts. His favourite forms of affections are head pats, chin scratches, hand holding (or ribbon holding), belly rubs, grooming/licking others, being laid on/laying on others and cuddles. Pep purrs very loudly and makes other happy vocalisations when he is giving or receiving any of these.

Pep also shows his happiness in various stims, such as hand flapping, bouncing, shaking, running in circles or just as fast as he can in general, wrapping his arms around himself and squeezing, or shifting his form rapidly for a short time. He does also have some negative stims, such as banging on things until his hands are bleeding oozing, digging his nails into his skin, picking at the more solid parts of his body or biting himself, causing parts to come off.

In very rare moments of stress or exhaustion, Pep will take on a very small form - affectionately referred to as 'Sopping Wet Creature'. In this form, Pep is only able to form from the waist up and is unable to speak. He is even more so easily overwhelmed in his form, so he hides until the stress source is gone, or he is able to get the rest he needs.

On the flip side, when enraged and after a??orb??? a ?a?? ?? c??n??, Pep grows into a monstrous version of himself - referred to as the 'Chase' form - determined to chase down and eliminate the cause of his wrath. While is it very difficult, Pep can be placated while in this form, but no one has figured it out yet.

Because I can, I made designs for an AU scrambling the roles of Pizza Tower characters :b

Character duos are kept together and put in roles of other duos, solo characters are put in the roles of other solo characters. I specifically chose roles for each character, and this started cause I wanted to make Vigi the main character lmao.

Vigert in the role of Peppino: Trying to save his farm from destruction. Anxious and not very social, but will do anything for the farm he got from his Grandpa.

Noisette in the role of Gustavo: Buys ingredients for her pastries from Vigi, and is his closest friend.

The Noise in the role of Brick: Feral rat man. Steals from Noisette on floor 1, got his ass handed to him, and the two come to an understanding. (And Theo falls in love with her energy and fighting spirit)

Pizzahead in the role of Mr. Stick: Money hungry businessman with stock in Vigi’s farm. Not friendly with Vigi, but not hostile to him either.

Gustavo and Brick: Brick was turned into a pillar and duplicated to support the tower. Gustavo, the repairman, works in the tower only to maintain his animal friend.

Pepperman in the role of Pizzahead: Wants the land of Vigi’s home to build a massive museum dedicated to his own greatness. (Wearing green contacts)

Peppino in the role of Pepperman: Considers himself the best pizzamaker around, taking pride in his craft. Pepperman likes his passion and hired him for the tower.

Mr. Stick in the role of Vigilante: Bounty hunter looking to get the bounty Pepperman put on Vigi. Uses modifies weapons and various gadgets in battle.

Gerome and John Pillar in the role of Noise and Noisette: Gerome is an insane magician, John is a tired bar owner in the tower. The two brothers fight VERY often, but do care deep down.

John E Cheese in the role of Fake Peppino: A clone of Vigerts Grandfather made to mess with Vigi’s mind. (Note: Completely replaces Fake Pep).

Will I do anything with this AU? WHO KNOWS! I just thought making the designs was fun, the rest is up to whether or not my mind fixates on this AU or not lmao.

an essaypost because as far as i'm concerned pizzahead is dead and gone postgame. i know he isn't really and as far as the credits show he Does just kinda show up to lurk around peppino's sometimes, but i do not like or care about him enough to explore that encounter in art or a comic </3

if i did though this would be the vibe

now not to be misleading, i don't think pizzahead was ever outright mean or abusive to fp or anything, but he has a pretty strong track record of being neglectful and Not Really Giving A Shit, so... i don't exactly think their relationship was great either.

i mentioned on the post about the peppinos postgame that fake pep's nervousness mostly stems from him being very Unsure about everything- being a test tube baby and only ever knowing the tower --specifically mostly just bruno's where there was never anyone around+the labs which, while not a warzone in the traditional sense for him, still had him largely in survival mode and didn't give him any room for learning and self-actualization and whatnot--means he just Does Not Know much about how anything in the regular world works, and really he's missing a lot about how to contextualize his own experiences as well. being a fucked up unnatural Thing certainly doesn't help either, as there's no one else around that's like him in that way to learn or take cues from [the war clones weren't really sapient enough to glean much from, so closest he's got is real pep, which... only goes so far]; not to mention most people's reaction to anything he does is fear, there's a language barrier, i could really keep going here but the point is he just doesn't really know how to handle himself around people, which makes him Very Anxious.

this is ESPECIALLY strong anyone he perceives to have some kind of authority over him. peppino and pizzahead both are chief among these, and where i said a lot of the reason he gets on well with peppino because there is zero emotional guesswork with pep, the express opposite is true with pizzahead. you never know WHAT that guy is thinking. sure he's all smiles and silliness, but that doesn't translate to approval when fp has no doubt seen pizzahead committing The Atrocities while acting giddy as ever.

now for what it's worth, i do think pizzahead like, Liked fake pep; and at the very least was proud of him as like, his prized creation or whatever. not sure how much i'd say he respected fp as his own person outside of that but honestly even if he did it doesn't matter much given how... aloof he is with all his minions/employees anyway. nonetheless, his cheeriness towards fp wasn't disingenuous. as i see it, his giving fp his own little shop/attraction to run more or less how he pleased and making him the last and strongest guard to prevent people from getting to floor 5 was meant to attest to fake pep's potential and the prestigious place he would hold in his pizza empire.

unfortunately fp didn't know enough about ph or his motives, or even what he himself was supposed to be doing to understand it like that at all. i feel like pizzahead stayed pretty busy trying to get the tower ready for business; hardly any of his underlings really got much of a chance to talk to him, much less ones with whom he didn't have to work out things like "job interviews" or "financial compensation" and that sort of thing. fake peppino certainly knew who pizzahead IS, but i don't think they ever actually talked or interacted enough for fp to even so much as know his name. fake pep's perception of the events was more or less that they just shoved him in a dingy old shop for reasons unknown and told him not to let anyone upstairs, also for reasons unknown, and also to ESPECIALLY not let the real peppino up there. [with as pointed a target as peppino had on him by floor 4, i feel like it's not a stretch to say fake pep was given some kind of specific warning about him lmao]

besides lack of clarity about his purpose though, i think the most pressing question fake peppino would have for pizzahead, had he the nerve to ask it [which he doesn't], would be "why did you make me like this?" he's seen the other peppino clones, he's seen peppinoreal, he knows he's the odd one out. he knows he's supposed to Be Peppino, or be like peppino, or replace him, or something like that; but as far as he can tell he's just, by design, very bad at it. why would pizzahead make him bad at it? he's clearly capable of making more on-model clones, so what gives? did he just not care? was it some kind of sick joke? hell if fp is ever gonna know.

and to reiterate, pizzahead very much considers fake pep his prized creation; a new and improved Better Peppino, taller, friendlier, always has a charming smile, etc. These were intentional choices and meant to be a positive thing, but without knowing that context, fp is only ever going to see these features as flaws.

it's part of an overall 'inferiority' thing. see, as i see it, most of fp's existence has been defined by failure. failure to guard floor 5, failure to stop peppino [twice!!!], failure to Be peppino, failure to, i don't fuckin know, not become best buds with peppino??? surely that was not in the lesson plan. but anyway, basically everything fp had been given any real instruction to do, he has failed at.

obviously not a great feeling, like, in general, but a hell of a lot worse when confronting the guy who GAVE him that instruction in the first place. and even more so when, again, he can never read pizzahead's mood and well and goddamn aware of the atrocities this motherfucker has committed. [which to be fair ph would not actually do anything awful to fake pep; he'd just be like, mildly disappointed at worst. but as with everything else, fp does not know that]

fake pep as i play him is not particularly given to reflection, but i'm sure by now he's at least realized that the tower was not a great situation and/or that there was some fucked up shit going on in there....at this point I don't think he knows what he feels towards it or pizzahead.

the tower is still very much the first place he called home; bruno's was in some sense "made for him", and it wasn't exactly his choice to leave. he's also never been given an explicit reason to hate or distrust pizzahead, but on the flipside, his living around peppino has just been like so much better in every way, and again- this is the guy he had been told was a danger and given explicit instruction to stop. there's also something to be said for how hes gotta be aware of how much peppinoreal fucking hates the tower... i don't really have a coherent way to wrap this up, but like, you get it. It's Complicated™ and he's really not going to confront it unless he has to.

for the most part though, i... really don't think he's going to have to confront it. his life is a lot better now and there's little reason for most of it to come up; none of his past failures really matter here, and in some sense they're even celebrated; peppinoreal is far more glad that fp doesn't actually look or act much like him, so even if it still stings a bit somewhere in the back of his mind, maybe it's not so bad he's his own person.

anyway. to further clarify the image at the top, it's not peppino deliberately defending fp; it's peppino being "kill on sight" at pizzahead, and fp readily deferring to peppino's action because he is absolutely not figuring out his feelings on [gestures broadly to everything else in the post] in the moment, and pep is obviously a hell of a lot more ready to handle this situation than he is.

Genovese more likely insult someone if he's annoyed

Genovese's current clothing is actual clothing, and not something he shapeshifted in. Simply to blend in of course.

Genovese can fly when he shapeshifts something that is able to make him fly, however he gets tired very fast doing so.

Genovese used to not have an cruel side. back in 2021 during this au was developing.., he used to be fully pacifist and kindhearted. This was changed because due to nowadays. I decided to make him more half good now. Though, i think it fits better being half because I think it be better for him to struggle trying to be good (after being brainwashed for so long) instead of already being good.

Despite trying to be different from Peppino, He still have an habit of copying off what Peppino's wearing sometimes.

When Genovese doesn't want to play, he watch something on tv instead

Genovese is not allowed to use an stove or oven. Nor is he allowed to use a gun despite trying to use one.

Whenever Genovese is hanging out with someone without Peppino, it gets little embarrassing because he don't even know to use certain things nor when to know what's normal or not in the situation. He's still learning.

The reason why he has his eyes togther instead of being seperated because...

Genovese would usually try to reason before attacking.

His tears are acid. touching him awhile crying is dangerous. Though his tears do not have the color of acid, but rather regular tears color

i think this could be bc even tho they fought each other peppino still saved fakie from the crumbling tower. he's also peppino's clone so his entire personality revolves around peppino. maybe he wants to be peppino. maybe he knows that he's just a clone (& far from a perfect one) & thinks that hanging around peppino will help him to like "become" peppino himself. plus it could be bc he just didn't have anywhere else to go so he thought that staying w peppino was the best option

For Fake Peppino (and the war clones) I think Pizzahead couldn't be bothered to directly get a source of good human DNA from Peppino himself, so the next best thing to mix together with pizza dough would be frog as a filler! And just modify them from there. Which would explain the weird frog like qualities they all have. But this is something basically everyone thinks already.

Now for Bruno, I bring Pizzabro into existence. Being that I think he's a little more on the organized/smarter side yet still just as unethical as his brother, he decided to take a crack at making a clone himself. Bruno as a person did exist already as the former owner of the pizzeria Fake Peppino resides in. But Pizzabro essentially murders the guy and uses him as the entire source of human DNA, thus resulting in a far more stable dough clone. However! He was still made using frog filler to complete the process! He absolutely despises it.

He originally had the intention of being Peppino but decided he was "everything better and more" than him. Then shaped himself into the cartoon mascot in the pizzeria and took Bruno's name as his own.

He and Fake Peppino are constantly at each other's throats. Bruno, cocky, on his high horse of being everything better than he could be, and Fake Peppino, lashing back knowing everything he hides about himself to appear more human, that one way or another he's still like him too. As for smaller details, whereas Fep's "clothes" are entirely his body, Bruno's coat and hat are the only real clothes he has. His entire bottom half is colored black. ↓

Surprise! He actually has a little frog tail. He hides it under his uniform. Bruno also can't shapeshift as freely as Fep can. Because he spent so long molding his form as the mascot it puts extra strain on him to do anything else intensive. He'd be unstable for a while afterwards. I think after the tower's collapse they'd gradually try to make amends after they both come to terms with themselves (Fep knowing that he can't be The Peppino and Bruno just accepting he's also a freak) That's all I can think of rn !!

Yeaah, poor boy got traumatized by Pizzahead. In my AU the Fake Peppino was the only clone that looked more like Peppino himself (if we are comparing with other clones: some of them were too mentally retarded, some of them had very weird body shape and etc). So Pizzahead tried to make Fake Peppino act and think like Peppino, like: “You must be always stressed, exhausted, mad and traumatized as Peppino does”. So Bruno had to go through so many social, mental and physical experiments. He was punished every time he made a mistake. Fake Pep literally fears his creator.

Then he was able to run away and hide somewhere in the abandoned restaurant. At first Pizzahead was willing to find him, but the creator just screwed on him and continued creating other clones (Of course every clone was a fail to Pizzahead, they weren’t good as Bruno).

When Pizzahead finally found him, he made a deal with Fake Peppino: if Bruno catches the original Peppino and bring him to Pizzahead, he will set him free and Bruno would never come back to Pizza Tower. But if he fails, Fakey will have to come with Pizzahead yet again. Fake Peppino had failed his task..

His Kind makes sound by playing their tails like an accordion and making said noise from their mouths

Muushavo the Gnomshroom:

Peppiruni's childhood friend and co-worker, he is super friendly and he'll always help others in need, but don't disappoint him, he'll get back at you, the will always help Peppi when he gets overstimulated, having a panic attack or he is just not feeling good.

His kind makes sound by making trumpets, saxophones and flutes out of Mushrooms and Tree bark, Muushavo plays a Sax

Brikko the Drumdenia

Muushavo's other best friend! when they first met they didn't get along but after a bit of talk they became friends! Brikko is very talented, a jack of all trails and certified to treat monsters with atypical neurology, like Peppi!

Well... one day Peppino just wakes up in a cliff near the ocean with no idea of how he got there, he walked and walked and found a cave, he searched around, until in the darkness of the cave, he bumped into someone.

That someone was a Chinchilla-like creature that looked like him, "another clone" he thought but nop! despite of both being nervous, the creature brought Peppino to his house...

A pizzeria, inside two other monsters...they looked just like Gus and Brick...the creature and the other monsters spoke only in Musical vocalisations, but despite he does not understand them they do understand him, and eventually he opened up and talked about him and how he wanted to go home

And so Peppiruni and his friends decide to help Peppino to get back home, to do so they have to go the The Tower were the "Top Boss" monster lived and ask them for help, now they have to go through the entire island (with the help of other friends) so they can get Peppino back home

Will they make it?? Likely! Will it be a smooth ride?? Maybe not???

All of the bosses (maybe except Vigi) knows that he is a clone, after all, why would posters of him be everywhere in the Tower. They have WORKED with him

But because of how trauma sometimes works and the fact that Peppino's brain is so jambled, he genuinely forgot about being a clone when he successfully left the Tower. Plus he cant distinguish what's Bruno's memories from his own

If he finds out? He'd be in a perpetual state of denial. Like to him it doesn't make sense yknow? All those other clones are goopy, and fucked up and act like animals. He's just gonna keep telling himself "nahhhh they're based on me come on" and like it's not anyone's business to force it to him, not even Noise. So, they just let him be
