If House of Anubis had taken place like ~5 years later than it actually did I just KNOW that Joy and Amber would've been SUPER into K-pop and they would've argued viciously about who they stan and bias all the time, possibly descending the house into an all-out war at some point

The Women Of Birmingham
Request: No Description: After years of ruling alone, your power comes into question with the return of the men from war. An attempt to bargain goes awry. Warnings: Language, Canon-typical violence, sexism Word Count: 1999 Author's Note: Similar story, just edited and improved
Rome wasn’t built in a day, but it was burnt in one. There’s a certain precarious paranoia to leading, a kind of constant worry that the life you built for years will be taken away. At the same time, there’s pride. Strong, running through your veins in a way you hadn’t felt before you took power. That a woman, low-born and considered hopeless, had taken over Birmingham, ran the streets without mercy. The underworld belongs to you, Hades or Anubis or Hel, and you live as judge, jury, and executioner. Finally, for the first time in your life, you feel as though you’d made it.
Your women creep along the smoggy and filthy streets, sentinels in the constant tide of petty criminals and broken promises. It’s a small circle of trust you’ve created, one you regulate with an iron fist, because if someone questions you, tries to take over, they need to be gone. They need to be dead. Your reputation precedes you, and people bow their heads as you pass, murmuring greetings. Police avert their gaze. Drunkards stumbling away, worried they’ll disrespect you.
Before you took power, your mind was filled with fantasies, with helpless wishes of romance. The pattern on your wrist seems to match no one, and you’ve given up on checking. You don’t need a soulmate. You need the bloodthirsty stain on your soul, the lack of mercy in your hands, you need to be a bullet in a gun. Sometimes, while you’re sleeping, you get flashes; sooty, pale skin, terrified blue eyes, and claustrophobia.
During the war, your rule was unquestioned. The remnants of the Peaky Blinders focused on staying alive in the brutality of Birmingham. Your women kept the city moving, culling the wild edges of personality, succeeding without fail at maintaining order.
Then the men came home.
Thomas Shelby demands respect in silence. He’s done nothing to earn it but expects it regardless, seeking the same treatment you receive without doing any of the work. He knows you from afar. His movement within the city has so far been respectful, keeping to himself, twisting the thoughts of others and slowly building his reputation. Now, though, you watch as his meddling fingers toy with the edges of your territory; the racetracks.
You could lose them without taking a hit. That’s not your concern. As soon as he sets his sights on your territory, a war will start. It blossoms on the horizon, curling dark clouds into a hurricane, and you sit in silence and wonder to yourself how to nip it in the bud.
“Kimber still follows your orders. You don’t need to do anything. It’ll take care of itself.” Mary, a small woman with eyes like a falcon’s and a mind like a steel trap, leans on the table you sit at, looking down at you. Your eyes flick up to meet hers, and she looks away, stepping back, realizing her mistake.
“You don’t understand the Shelbys. If it’s not this, it’ll be something else.” You lean back, toying with the knife in your hand.
“Okay. Yes. Sorry.” She bows her head and you smile faintly, running a finger along the edge of your knife.
“Speak with Grace. Confirm that tomorrow is Black Star Day. I don’t trust Campbell.” Your lip curls at the name. “Send me Rose on your way out.”
Mary nods and steps back, leaves the room without another word. You sigh, return to carving out symbols on the table, turning the dark wood into hollowed out flaxen. This restaurant you sit in, abandoned past sundown, appears ghostly in the hanging lights. All wood and smooth edges, grain hardly smoothed from the dark oak. The Dog House, it’s called, and it sits away from the chaotic ebb and flow, a station of rest for someone like you. Here, attention can shift from you, and you can blend into the shadows, sit away from the sights of those looking for guidance or orders. Usually, that is.
Rose wanders in. Of your women, she is most eloquent. A poet by nature, a liar by choice, she serves as your ambassador, your spokesperson, and your dealer. Talented and highly valuable, but fear backs even the bravest off their own skills.
You speak to her without looking up, stopping her in her tracks. “How afraid are you of Thomas Shelby?”
She shakes her head, eyes respectfully on the ground in front of her. “I’m not.”
“You will meet with him tonight and request a meeting before daybreak. You’ll have backup hidden around you. Might be able to prevent a gang war.” You flip your knife around your hand, spinning it thoughtlessly.
“As you want.”
You smile faintly. “Always as I want.”
Afterwards, you wish you could’ve heard them speaking. Wish you would have listened in, been close enough to hear the words exchanged. Tommy, standing there, hands in his pockets, head tilted, lips slightly parted, cap pulled low over his brow. Mary, sturdy as always, dress swirling around her ankles, pale cream coat loose on her shoulders. Feet inches away from a brownish puddle of Birmingham muck. And, you, in an alleyway behind them, knife clutched in your hand, ready. The weight of a gun on your hip, touching your thigh, consoles you, protects you, assures you. Ready. Across the road, two more sit in wait, ready to defend your sister in crime, as she speaks to a giant of the city.
It happens quickly. Mary finishes a sentence, Tommy nods, says a few words. Mary’s hand drifts to within her overcoat, where a gun sits in ready, slow, methodical, as though he wouldn’t notice if she was casual.
A gunshot. Tommy’s hand, clutching a gun, raised at his side.
A small body dropping, splashing, covered in mud and sewage and the stench of the city’s outflow. Pale dress splattered with ruby and earthy brown and stinking gray.
Without thinking, without planning, you dart out from the alleyway, come up behind him, and stab your knife into his shoulder, hard. Yank it out, go for another hit, then shoot back when he swings around. He takes two steps towards you, hand on his gun, then jerks back. Your backup has him by both arms, holding him almost off the ground in their grip. You pull your gun, prepare to shoot, line it up with his forehead. Stare without blinking into bright blue eyes.
His eyes widen, he squirms, tries to thrash out of the grip of the two women holding him, and fails. Then, he goes deadly, horrifyingly still. Not limp. Not a surrender. A steady, threatening wait, a predator biding its time, hunting. His eyes settle onto yours. You expect terror. You expect the flare of self-protective adrenaline to spark at you from the blue, expect something like begging for repentance in his expression. Instead, you meet ice. Your blood goes cold along with it, affected uncharacteristically by the lack of fear of death. What could push someone to stare the reaper in the eyes and not blink, even smile, prepared and ready?
By the time you find yourself, he’s speaking. “Listen.”
You laugh and press the cold barrel to his forehead. But, out of sheer curiosity, you stay quiet.
“If it’s war you’re looking for, you’re in the wrong place.” Blood drips from his back, but he stays steady, his eyes staring straight into yours.
It would be easy, so easy, to slit his throat. Watch the flesh separate, the blood spill out, all that brilliance inside of him wasted in seconds. You push your gun to his forehead, tilting his head back, and stare down at the vulnerable skin, pale and smooth, untouched.
As if reading your mind, his low voice speaks, and you feel you have no choice but to listen.“The Shelbys, the Lees, whoever is left from France…Lot of enemies you’d be making.”
You pause, then, in one breath, speak. “Drop him.”
His body hits the ground, hard, and you watch as blood billows out of his shoulder, stains the fine blue suit he wears. You step forward and kick him hard in the ribs. He grunts, curls into himself, stays down.
“An eye for an eye,” you say, just loud enough for him to hear it. “Don’t fuck with the women of Birmingham.”
“You’ve been meddling.” Campbell’s nasally, horrible voice bounces off your ears and hits hard against the cold walls. You stop in your tracks, stare at him in front of you, hair on the back of your neck raising as he speaks. “I thought we had a deal, though, I couldn’t expect the likes of you to understand loyalty.”
“Collateral damage.” You widen your stance in the alleyway as if prepared for a fight, blink through the fresh light of the dawn and focus on his silhouette darkening your path out. “Won’t happen again.”
“Oh, but it will.” He wags a finger at you, patronizing. “You… ladies have no self control. You understand me when I say, except for Grace, you aren’t meant for men’s jobs.”
You nod slowly, a sick feeling of disgust twisting around your spine, curl your hand into a fist, then relax it. “What do you want from me, Campbell?”
“‘Sir,’ to you. I’m doing you the justice of giving you a warning.” His smile turns his lips into thin slices of flesh, bulging where they meet the rest of his face. “I am tired of playing games. I plan to clean up this city and rid it of gangs and wild women like you once and for all.”
To a man who thinks himself a god amongst mortals, a warning and a threat are the same thing. You walk forward, continue your way through the alleyway, knock into his shoulder as you pass.
“I expected nothing less than a thank you!” He calls after you.
You let his words roll off your shoulders, continue on. Down the filthy sidewalks, eyes on your destination, only a few blocks ahead. Building upon building, all the same gray, square formation, cobblestone roads and children running and playing, horses spooking, men heaving hammers in niches. Clanging, laughing, vomiting, yelling. You block it out, set yourself in order, start to try to focus. A plan settles in your mind without much thought, a child of the panic throbbing your heart in extra beats, toying with your perceptions.
Your stomach flips when the risk dawns on you, the gambit you’re preparing to perform. As always, an iron grit pushes you forward, stubbornness of making a choice urging you towards the building you’re quickly gaining on. Rather roll the dice, put your life on the line, gamble with everything you have, than wither away, sit and watch, give up the ground you’ve taken. Women nod at you from enclaves, smile through their work to greet you, stop and wave as they hurry their children around. You return their salutes, though never offer a smile.
You open the front door without knocking, slip under a curtain, make your way up into the betting house, where gamblers make their shout and squint at papers and talk in loud, unhinged voices, and a blackboard chalks horse’s names in mediocre handwriting.
You find a man, any man, wearing a suit and pull him aside. He yanks his arm away from you as though you bit him, and you hold back a smile.
“What?!” He speaks as though his mouth is full, though you know for sure it’s empty, given how gaping it becomes.
“I need to speak with Tommy Shelby. Now.” You look past him into the bustling room, full of shouting, sweaty men, grinning and excited to throw away their money.
“Give me one reason not to throw you out.” The man steps closer to you. “Didn’t you stab him?”
Your hand slips into  your pocket, toying with the hilt of your knife. “An enemy of his enemy is his friend. We have an objective in common, I believe.”

What is the greatest Doctor Who story ever told?
Everything has been split into groups of 32 that I think are of similar levels of notoritiy, but likely not popularity. Seeding within the groups decides the matches. At the end of the round groups are paired up and mashed together to do it all again.

Amber Millington from House of Anubis and Aphrodite from Hercules the Legendary Journeys/Xena Warrior Princess would get along so well. Like if there was a crossover you should be scared of this platonic power couple united in fashion and match making (and the color pink and appearing to be dumb blonds but actually much smarter than they look, and being much kinder than you would expect).

I sighed as I slipped my tie around my neck and flattered my collar down finishing gathering up my homework in my bag as I tied my school tie, "Y/n? you coming were gonna be late!" I yelled as I threw my bag over my shoulder and headed into the entryway,
"Coming!" She called as she scampered down the stairs strands of her hair in between her fingers as she braided her hair, her little red scrunchie around her wrist ready to tie up her braid, her usual uniform of little black shoes, grey socks, a grey skirt, white shirt, grey jumper and school tie all perfect for the day ahead with her satchel bag over her shoulder, I looked her up and down as she came down. "How do I look?"
"You look fine, as usual." I playfully rolled my eyes, "Come on let's go already,"
We headed out of Anubis house and began to walk towards the main school building,
"French class first period," She smiled as she added her scrunchie and tossed her braid over her shoulder,
I nodded, "God, I hate french."
"The class? or the Launague?"
"Both."
She giggled, "I like it, I think it sounds romantic."
"Romantic,"
"I think so, learning french means I don't have to wait for the English dubs of miraculous ladybug episodes,
"Of course, that's why you like it," I laughed, "I just find it boring, and annoying to learn, and I keep getting low grades on the speaking tests."
"Becuase you don't don't add accents, Jerome,"
"yeah cause I sound stupid," I answered, "hello oui french baguette," I said doing the most dramatic accent I could,
She giggled as we walked, "oui monsieur, une baguette française serait fantastique, nous en aurons une en route vers le Louvre" she teased, (yes sir, a French baguette would be fantastic, we will have one on the way to the Louvre)
"oh je pense que oui, ça a l'air charmant," I joked matching her tone, (oh I think so, it looks lovely,) "on peut y prendre une baguette et un verre de vin rouge aussi" (you can have a baguette and a glass of red wine there too)  I told her with an even more intense accent,
she Giggled a little "le vin serait délicieux, alors nous pourrons avoir de doux baisers" (the wine would be delicious, then we can have sweet kisses)
I laughed and decide to play along with her, "oh oui, je pense que ça sonne bien!" (oh yes, I think it sounds good!), I smiled at her, "des petits bisous pour moi ? bien sûr nous marcherons jusqu'au lourve, partagerons ensemble une baguette et un verre de vin puis partagerons un tas de doux baisers," (little kisses for me? of course we will walk to the lourve, share a baguette and a glass of wine together then share a bunch of sweet kisses,) I smiled, "ce serait très romantique" (that would be very romantic)
"romantique?" She smiled, "awww your sweet Jerome,"
I tried to hide my blush, "Hey!" I complained I gave her shoulder a little shove with my own, "I'm not sweet,"
"Awww yes you are Jerome," She smiled "As sweet as a macaron and hot chocolate under the Eiffel Tower," She giggled
"Stop!" I complained trying to hide as my face went red, "I'm not!"
"You are!" she giggled, "You and Alfie always run around with this bad boy prankster thing but when we alone with me," She smiled, "Jerome You're as sweet as strawberries",
"I have to keep up my image!" I whined, "You should be thankful, doesn't every girl want a bad boy?"
She shrugged "J'adore mon joli petit croissant" (I love my cute little croissant)
I almost stopped utterly speechless running it over in my mind if I heard her right, I tried to control my breath, "Y-You do?"
"Mhm," she nodded as she moved to her tiptoes and pressed a little kiss to my nose before heading into the school building,
I did my best to...BREATHE running after her where I found her at her locker sorting her paperwork, for a moment I didn't know what to say, what to do, but I felt like... if I don't make a move now...I never will, god sake I've had three years just do it,"Can I uhh can I ask you a question?"
"Yes, Jerome?"
"...Uhh  I uhhh you know how we uhh were gonna be graduating soon?"
"Yes,"
"And uhh they are doing a big prom this year given we are uhh graduating and all... would uhh... would uhh" I began but I abandoned it, "Nevermind."
"What?"
"Nothing, nothing, it's stupid don't worry about it,"
"Ohh? Alright, Jerome," She laughs with a shrug shutting her locker and going to head to class but I grab her arm,
"Wait."
"Yes?"
"Can I ask you something important?"
"Sure, what is it, Jerome?" she asks holding her French book to her chest,
"....can I... Can I invite you to prom?" I blurted out,
"You want to go to prom with me?"
"Yes." I nodded even if my face was utterly red, "I know its a while away yet but I uhh I wanted to make sure I got chance to ask you well before graduation, It gives us a lot of time to plan, and I didn't want to make you feel like a last resort, you are uhh actually the first and only girl I've asked, or planned on asking, and I felt like if I waited I couldn't get the chance to go with you and... I didn't want to miss my chance and see you get asked by someone else, especially some jerk that might not treat you right," I explained even if I was blushing, stuttering and rambling.
She giggled, "You're sweet Jerome, you wanna go together?"
"Yeah,"
"As friends or... like a date?"
"As, as a date." I nodded
"A date? between us?"
"Yeah, a date."
she giggled and blushed a little fiddling with her books clutched to her chest and kicking her foot a little against the school floor "Je suis flatté, j'adorerais aller au bal de promo avec toi, comme ton rendez-vous romantique Jerome" (I’m flattered, I would love to go to the ball with you, like your date Jerome)
I froze up my heart pounding out of my chest, "You- You'll be my date?"
"I'd love to,"
"It's Official! You'll be my date!"
"It's official,"
I smiled and picked her up in my arms spinning her around as I hugged her tightly, before setting her feet back on the floor, "uhh we should get to French,"
"We should come on then mon joli petit croissant" she giggled (my cute little croissant)
"Coming," I smiled happily heading to the French room with her,

summary: when you begin getting notes and gifts that border on creepy, your friends are concerned. you, however, are simply lovesick and flattered.
warning: stalking-adjacent, animal heart (not a vivid description), talk of death, just creepy-ish behavior
Tumblr media
The very first note had been slipped under your door in the middle of the night. Your roommate, Patricia, had been the one to find it.
“To (y/n), my love. If I ever had to live without you, I would simply die. Your beautiful face breathes light into my tragic and dark life. From, your mystery man,” Patricia read, laughing as she finished reading the letter.
“Is this seriously for real? Because if it is, it’s really creepy,” Patricia announced, handing the note over to you. It had been written in block lettering on plain parchment paper.
“I’m not sure, I think we should investigate,” you said, furrowing your brows in confusion. Who would write a note like this? Was someone trying to prank you?
“You know me, I’m always down for a bit of sleuthing!” Patricia nodded.
As the two of you put on your uniform, you hatched a plan to get samples of everyone’s handwriting.
“Yes, it’s a petition to allow pets to live with us in the halls. If you could handwrite your name here and sign right here,” you pointed out to Amber as she agreed.
“I would love to bring my Persian kitty from home. Dad hates feeding Princess when I’m gone,” Amber sighed.
“Looks like we’ll have two sour pusses in Anubis then,” Jerome laughed, Alfie joining in and giving him a high five.
You held back a laugh and grabbed a bagel, slathering it with cream cheese for an easy breakfast to go.
“We’re bringing it to Sweetie’s office before second bell, so I expect you all to sign right now,” Patricia yelled, urging Fabian to write quicker.
You snuck a quick glance around the table. Who would’ve written that note to you? You decided against Fabian since he was already dating Nina. And probably not Jerome, you thought he liked Mara. Maybe it could be Eddie? No, he was still pretty new. Probably didn’t even know which room you lived in. You let out a deep sigh of frustration.
“Penny for your thoughts?” Jerome asked as he tossed on his sweater and grabbed his bag.
“I’m just… worried about the petition,” you lied.
Jerome seemed to immediately recognize your fib, but didn’t question you. The two of you didn’t even talk much anyway, so you assumed he was just being polite and didn’t really care.
“Jerome, sign!” Patricia yelled, tossing the clipboard to Jerome who caught it just in time.
At lunch, you and the other Anubis girls sat together in the school lounge, taking turns looking at the note.
“Well, none of us wrote it. I don’t think we’d be that cruel,” Mara shrugged, handing the note to Nina for her to examine.
“You think it’s a joke?” you asked. You hoped it wasn’t someone pranking you. If it was, you’d be sad and pretty embarrassed. For once, you thought someone saw you. The person you really are. Maybe you had just been too hopeful.
“If you get another note, it probably isn’t a joke. I just couldn’t see someone doing this for a laugh,” Nina offered.
“I knew you didn’t really care about the hall pet rules!” Amber huffed.
“Sorry, Amber. It was the best plan we could think of,” Patricia apologized.
“I honestly think the note is creepy. ‘I would simply die’? ‘My tragic and dark life’? Pretty scary,” Amber offered, handing the note back to you.
You traced the letters on the parchment paper. None of the petition signatures matched the note’s handwriting, and it was very different from Trudy and Victor’s handwritings, too. But who else had access to Anubis house? Could someone be breaking in? It was too much for you to think about.
“I’m feeling a headache coming on. I think I’m going to go back to Anubis house and take a nap,” you sighed.
The other girls nodded and you hugged Patricia before taking off back to the house.
You made a beeline for the kitchen, grabbing a glass and filling it with filtered water from the fridge. Leaning over the center table, your elbow brushed against a piece of paper. It was for the opening celebration for the Treasures of Egypt Expedition next week. You’d almost forgotten, with all the schoolwork you had along with trying to figure out your admirer’s identity.
Trudging up the stairs to your room, you noticed Victor’s absence from his office. He was pobably keeping a watchful eye over the Exhibition’s setup.
When you unlocked your room, you gasped in shock. Violets and Roses, hundreds of them, lay scattered across your bed, desk, shelves, the floor and even inside your closet. On your pillow was one single note on the same parchment paper that was burning a hole in your pocket.
“Roses are red
violets are blue
I’ll live in dread
if I can’t have you” you read aloud.
Patricia and the others would probably tell you to call campus security, but you were thrilled. You couldn’t be happier, in fact. Someone really, really loves you and wants to show you. You just really wish he’d reveal his identity.
Deciding to simply climb under the covers instead of removing the flowers from your bed, you drifted into a lovesick slumber.
“What in the bloody hell?” Patricia yelled as she slammed the door behind her. You blinked awake as she threw her tote bag onto her own bed.
“Was this your mystery stalker?”
“Admirer,” you corrected, “and I find it sort of sweet.”
“Was there a note at least?” Patricia balked.
You handed it over and watched Patricia examine it.
“This is really, really creepy (y/n). I know you like the attention but we need to tell Trudy or something,” Patricia seethed.
“Take that back!” you gasped. How could she be so cruel?
“I will not take it back! This person broke into our room! I’m not even safe anymore!” she yelled.
“You’re definitely safe, Patricia. You’re just jealous because this guy obviously doesn’t like you,” you growled. All of a sudden, your unlocked door was thrown open.
“What in the world are you two yelling— oh my god,” Mara gasped, Amber and Nina coming in right behind her.
“I think it’s quite romantic, actually. You’ve got a Romeo!” Amber squealed. At least someone was on your side.
“Yeah right, and it’ll end in a double suicide, too,” Patricia groaned.
“I think we should all join together and investigate this person. Four of us are more likely to catch him than one,” Nina suggested.
“Okay, I’m in,” you agreed, and Amber and Patricia nodded in solidarity. This mystery wouldn’t stand a chance against you five.
One week and four surprises later, the five of you were still nowhere close to solving the mystery. In fact, you were all exhausted. If you set up the camera in front of your room, a bloody lamb’s heart with a sappy love note would be sitting on the living room table the next morning. If you held a stakeout in the living room, all five of you were asleep and a surprise was in your room the next morning.
This morning, however, the newest gift was hanging right over the foot of your bed. It was something hanging in a black garment bag. You opened it as Patricia dressed on her side of the room.
“Oh my god, Patricia! It’s the Vivienne Westwood dress I bookmarked last month!” you gasped, holding the dress up to you. It was your favorite color and hit just above the knee, with a cut that you knew would look flattering on you.
You had saved the dress to your bookmarks on a whim, knowing you had no way of affording the six-hundred-quid dress and probably would never. You were elated that this mystery man had paid attention, even if he had slightly invaded your privacy.
“Oh great, that means he has access to your computer, too,” Patricia groaned.
“I can’t believe it! Now I don’t have to wear that dress I brought from home. Oh my gosh, does this mean he’s going to reveal his identity at the opening tonight?” you gasped, ignoring Patricia’s comment.
“It definitely does, look at the note he left,” Patricia said, handing the note she’d picked up from the floor back to you.
“My love (y/n), I gift you the most beautiful dress for the most beautiful girl. I shall sweep you away and give you the most memorable night of your life. From, your mystery man,” you squealed after reading aloud.
“This is majorly weird. I think you should tell the event’s security in case he tries to kidnap you,” Mara sighed.
“Yeah, what if this has been Rufus the entire time? He’ll try to do something crazy again,” Patricia added, leaning back on the living room couch.
You watched as Fabian entered the room, grabbing a roll from the table and coming towards your group.
“Is this about your romantic Romeo?” Fabian asked you, the ghost of a chuckle in his throat. You nodded, then Nina leaned to look at Fabian, who stood above her.
“Did you ask the guys about it?” Nina asked him.
“Yeah, none of them knew anything about it. Sorry,” Fabian apologized.
“Well, tell them to keep an eye out at the dance, especially on (y/n),” Patricia sighed, crossing her arms over her chest.
“Patricia, for the last time, I am not in any danger!” you gritted.
“Oh really? ‘Sweep you away’? ‘most memorable night of your life’? he’s obviously planning on kidnapping you!”
“I wouldn’t go that far, but I agree with Patricia. The notes and gifts have been kinda creepy since it started,” Nina agreed.
“Alright, I’ll let them know. See you later,” Fabian said, then leaned down to gently kiss Nina’s head. You couldn’t help but want what they had. Since you had been part of Sibuna since the beginning, you’d watch their relationship develop.
“Still no sign of mystery man?” Amber asked, handing you a new cup.
“Nope, I’m starting to think Mara and Patricia might be right,” you grumbled, taking a sip of the punch.
“They’re just jealous. I’m sure he’ll find you soon,” she said, placing a reassuring hand on your shoulder.
“Did you spike this punch?”
“It wasn’t me, I promise! Might as well drink it anyway,” she shrugged, pouring more into her cup. You rolled your eyes and joined in.
“(Y/n), may I have this dance?” A voice sounded from behind you.
You turned around to see Jerome in a matching tie, hand outstretched to you.
Amber squealed and ran away, no doubt alerting the other girls of the news.
“And that would make you my mystery man?” you asked, raising an eyebrow.
“Mystery man I am. And for the record, I do think I might die without you,” he laughed. You took his hand, grinning as he led you to the dance floor.
“Good thing we’ve found each other, then.”
“Indeed. And the dress really does look very beautiful, but not quite as beautiful as you. Close match, though,” Jerome said as a slow dance song rang through the speakers.
“How did you even get that dress?” you asked in amazement.
“Pretty easy. I caught the train to London and stole it from Harrod’s. I risked jail time for you, that’s how you know I love you.” He poked you right below the collarbone playfully, still swaying along to the music.
“I can’t believe it’s been you, this whole time. The roses, the notes, the lamb’s heart? You’ve gone above and beyond to earn my love, Jerome.”
“What kind of man would I be if I didn’t make a giant display of my affection? I enjoyed freaking out Patricia as well, but there’s still more fun to be had. I spiked the punch,” he said, leaning down to whisper the last part in your ear.
“C’mere you silly, beautiful man,” you giggled, pulling Jerome into a deep kiss.

A new way to organize and experience the House of Anubis TV Show episodes .
reddit post
I always personally disliked how Anubis organized their episodes in either 12 minutes or 21, it always felt way too short for a pretty dense show that would match much better with the style of 45 minutes episodes. So the idea was to create a NEW WAY to watch and experience the show. This first image tells you how it would in theory look like. 4 episodes together as one video, except for the first and final ones that have 5 eps. (and the last but one ep for organization purposes). I also find that with larger episodes, it's much easier to keep track of what is going on in the series since there is always a LOT going on with all the characters and subplots.
Tumblr media
Inside, the video would also be separated as chapters, so you know in which original episode you are, you can also check the name of the episode easily which I find very important. Foreign DUBS and SUBS are welcomed to be added to the videos, so we can have it in many languages. The matching would be done using the MKVToolNix, which is lossless.

How disastrous do you think a House of Anubis and Stranger Things crossover would be?
are we thinking hoa characters in the st universe, or the other way around? because i honestly think patricia could get rid of vecna in a day, baby. and jerome was out here trying to murder rufus, so i think he could handle all that cult shit.
that being said, i don’t know if the groups would match well. a lot of personalities in one room lol.

Das Haus Anubis
Boys From a Magazine.
That is probably just me. But the colors of the names irc me kinda. hahaha Daniel isn't red he is blue. And Kaya is Orange and Felix red. Magnus is purple and Max is green. You can't just... this are basic rules like thursday is 7 or 7x7= 49. Or math is red.
Daniel Gutenberg
Tumblr media
Translation:
Familie: The reserved Daniel doesn't like to talk about his family and his feelings. In the internaat the Sibunas are his family. (Did they forgot that he has an uncle?)
Love: Nina is his big love. The two already made it through many crisis and also found their way back together after Ninas crushing on Benny. ( Why is her cheating always so normalized? Or rather glorified. "Like, they made it through something that most couples wouldn't go through, and became stronger because of that." )
Most Romantic Act: To show Nina how much she means to him, Danie one time hide a Bouquet of roses in her school locker. ( That was Kayas idea actually.)
Biggest Wish: Finally solve all secrets of the house and dispel the curse forever.
Role In the Clique: The Thoughtful One. Daniel has a smart head and has a solution for every problem.
Kaya Sahin
Tumblr media
Family: Kayas father is a successful businessman, who wants his son to follow in his footsteps.
Love: Before Lotte, Kaya was already with Delia and Mara. He falls in love quickly but when he has decided himself for a girl, he is absolutely faithful to her.
Most Romantic Act: Kaya isn't that romantic, that's why his romantic actions often fail.
Biggest Wish: Getting an athletic scholarship in a high school in the US.He is training even harder than usual this school year.
Role in the Clique: The Good looking One. Almost every girl had a crush on Kaya had one point. ( They could have wrote that he is the Sporty One. But they decided that he has no personality.)
Felix
Tumblr media
Family: Felix' father is super strict and doesn't think much of his son's pranks. That's why he almost wanted to put him in an Internaat in Switzerland.
Love: For years Felix had been head over heels in love with Delia. So far, however, his beloved has not heard him.
Most Romantic Act: As Delia didn't had a Company to the school Prom, Felix let roses rain over her and accompanied her.
Biggest Wish: That Delia finally realizes how good they match and that she becomes his girlfriend.
Role in the Clique: The Jokster. With his funny jokes and his weird ideas he makes his friends laugh over and over again.
Magnus
Tumblr media
Family: Magnus' father was innocent in prison for a long time. Magnus suffered a lot because of this, because he doesn't get along well with the rest of his family.
Love: Rough shell - soft core. Magnus, who is so tough on the outside, shows his vulnerable and caring side with his big love Mara.
Most Romantic Act: That he turned against the bad guy Raven out of love for Mara and saved her.
Biggest Wish: Stay with Mara and protect her from all evil.
Role in the Clique: The schemer. Magnus always wants to know exactly what's going on at the internaat and sometimes manipulates the others to get to his goal.
Max
Tumblr media
Family: Max made a huge secret about his family at the beginning. No wonder his father is the principal Altrichter.
Love: Max and Luzy aren't together for long. Although they like each other, misunderstandings and secrets make life difficult for them.
Most Romantic Act: The imaginative surprise picnic Max arranged for Luzy to reveal that he is her secret admirer. ( She ran away screaming after that)
Biggest Wish: To become a famous photographer one day, and travel around the world.
Role in the Clique: The New One. Max has only been in the clique for a few months and hasn't found his place in the boys' group yet.

Those Christmas Lights
Happy holidays, @fakeosirian ! I hope you enjoy this gift! Thank you, @incorrectsibunaquotes , for organizing this cool Sibuna Secret Santa event!
🎁
Bright lights weave in and out of the designs in the staircase, manicured fingernails moving with intense precision. Anyone else would wonder how on Earth Amber Millington could possibly be so quiet, but she's gotten a bit better at sneaking around after hours. One has to when friends are in danger. Or when a house needs decorating.
Any other time, Amber would be going home for the holidays, but not this year. She couldn't. Not when Nina needed her. Not when Sibuna was on a mission. So, she was going to make Anubis House look like a Millington winter wonderland. Even Trudy would be impressed.
The clock's ticking seemed to grow, and Amber had tested her luck enough. Fridge raid excuses only work once, she finds. The stairs creak ever so slightly as she steps slowly, running quietly to safety as soon as she reaches the top.
🎄
"What is the meaning of this?" Victor's index finger lifted a red bulb from its place against the banister.
Trudy stepped into the hallway, sending Victor a warm smile.
"Good morning, Victor! Vera had some shopping to do, so I offered to take over for breakfast this morning. Would you like some tea?"
Victor frowned, gesturing to the lights around the banister. "Did you do this?"
"No, but it looks lovely! Wouldn't you agree? I think one of the girls may have done it this morning before everyone woke up."
Victor hummed, unconvinced that this was anything done in good spirits, perhaps to get on his nerves.
"Trudy!" Alfie's voice carried through the house as he rushed towards her.
"Will you pleasee make some of your biscuits with the sprinkles?"
Trudy laughed, patting him on the shoulder, her answer lost on Victor as he pulled out of the conversation. The Christmas lights took over all conversation for the day, much to Victor's chagrin, and not even Vera seemed bothered by the string of lights.
🎄
Fabian stared at the checklist Amber held in her hands, doing a double take to confirm that, yes, it was indeed a checklist.
"Amber, what exactly is that?"
She pressed the list into his hands.
"I still need a tree, garland, more lights, and mistletoe." Amber paused, and if Fabian's life was a cartoon, he was sure there would have been a lightbulb, perhaps a festive one, lighting up over his friend's head. "Fabian! Could your uncle lend a girl some Christmas decorations?"
"I'd have to ask Jasper. Maybe he can get some when he goes back into town."
Nina shifted beside him, having been quiet this whole conversation.
"That's a great idea! And then we can get inside the library and look for more information to help us with the next task! Amber, you're brilliant!"
Amber flicked her blonde hair over her shoulder with a proud smile.
"I know."
For now, despite the marks they shared, they tried not to think about the tasks, only biscuits and cakes and the bright lights that were going to be filling the house.
🎄
"Ow! That's my hand!"
"Sorry, Fabian. You need to move faster. And move to the left!"
The tree shifted slightly, pushing Fabian closer to the wall. Jasper had found a dusty artificial tree in the back of the shop with even dustier lights to match, but Amber was unperturbed.
"What on Earth- is that a Christmas tree?"
Joy's voice was almost a whisper, fading into bewilderment.
"How did you manage to get that in here without Victor noticing?"
"Hurry up and plug it in, Fabian!"
"The lights aren't even!"
"Fix it later!"
Fabian grumbled, bending down into branches of plastic, plug hitting the edge of the outlet several times before red and yellow filled his eyesight. He grimaced, lowering himself further to the floor before crawling out like a kid under a restaurant table.
Joy seemed impressed, but crossed her arms, "You still haven't answered my question."
"We hid it in my room until he fell asleep."
Joy smiled wide, the way she used to, and fixed her robe.
"I know exactly what that tree needs. Meet me down here tomorrow."
They were going back down into the tunnels tomorrow. Not that Joy needed to know that.
Amber shook her head no, causing Joy to furrow her eyes and frown.
"No can do, Joy. Tomorrow's the long routine tomorrow."
"Again? Amber, you hogged up the bathroom for four hours last time!"
"Which is exactly why tomorrow is a no."
"Ugh, fine. But the day after."
Joy sighed, sneaking her way up the stairs, and Amber waited until she was out of sight to turn to Fabian, who stared at her with worried, possibly pleading eyes.
"You're not really going to spend four hours in the bathroom, are you?"
"Not all of us can use 2 in 1, Fabian. Besides, if we’re going in the tunnels again, I need to have enough time to do a face mask and relax. Thanks for the help."
🎄
Nina balanced against Fabian as she stood on her toes to place the ornament she had found in the attic near the top and back of the tree. Sarah had made it. While Nina feared Victor would see it, it deserved to hang once again. The light hit the ball just right, sending dazzling shadows against the wall and a warm feeling through Nina.
Fabian's eyes softened as Nina came back down to her feet, noticing the slight wetness on her cheeks. He slid an arm around her, tugging her into a side hug.
"You're a good person, Nina Martin."
The arguments died on her tongue when Nina noticed her reflection in the window, and a smile that wasn't quite hers.
🎄
Amber's checklist was as complete as it could be. Joy had managed to get ornaments for the tree. Nina and Eddie had popped popcorn for some truly unique popcorn garland. She had hung lights up around the house, much to Victor's continued confusion and dismay. Trudy had made her Christmas biscuits and cake. There was a gift for everyone under the tree, despite Jerome's best attempts to swindle and offer terrible ideas.
"I explicitly said I was gonna use the tv today to watch a movie!"
"And you had all morning to do it!"
Alfie's frantic attempts at escaping Eddie's reaches for the remote were killed by Patricia.
"Everybody shut up! Alfie is not going to miss Doctor Who!"
Eddie scoffed, and turned on his heels, retreating back to his room.
"Thanks, Trixie."
"Didn't you promise to watch a movie with him," Joy asked, and Patricia groaned.
"Fine. Fine."
🎄
Patricia knocked loudly before she entered the room, pushing Eddie over before settling in beside him, Bruce Willis greeting her from the laptop screen.
"Acquired some taste?"
"Shut up, slimeball."
And if Eddie yawned and stretched an arm over Patricia's shoulder, he didn’t tell anybody.
🎄
"Amber, what exactly are we going to do with all this stuff?"
The blonde blinked.
"We can always hide it in the tunnels," Alfie suggested, mouth full of a random assortment of food.
Fabian chuckled and pointed towards the tree, "Try fitting that through the bread oven."
