Brooklyn’s Wet and Kilo Kish play Brooklyn Steel on Sunday night. And Wet vocalist Kelly Zutrau let us know the songs she loves to listen to while on tour.

The First Show You Ever Attended as a Fan: The first show I ever bought tickets for was to see Cat Power. I got a ride with my friend’s older brother. It was two hours away and it was one of the craziest shows I’ve ever seen. I’ll always remember it.  The First Show You Ever Played: I was in an eight-piece folk band when I was 18, and we played a show at the McKibbin Lofts in Bushwick. I remember I was so nervous my hands were sweating and I could barely hold the microphone. Crazy Tour Story: One time on tour, I had an off night by myself in Nashville and I met a girl who said she was an aspiring country-music singer at a bar, and one thing led to the next and we ended up singing karaoke duets together all night. She was the best singer I’ve ever heard. She sang laps around me and everyone else there, drank a pitcher of sangria. We laughed and sang and danced until 3 a.m. and then out of nowhere she stole my wallet when I went to the bathroom and she was gone. It was crazy.  Favorite NYC Spot: I love Sincerely Tommy in Bed-Stuy. It’s a coffee shop and clothing store and they have workshops and other cool events. The owner, Kai, is an amazing woman who’s always hooked me up with clothes for tour and videos. I love her curation.
