Sometimes I think there are certain parts of Wolf 359 that feel so familiar to me that I almost forget what they are like the first time round.

Like, I've just been thinking about how in the finale, after Minkowski gets shot, we don't hear any noise from her all through Cutter's gloating speech. We hear her gasp as the bullet hits and the show immediately cuts away to a different scene. Then when we rejoin the confrontation with Cutter, we don't hear Minkowski make any noise - not even a groan of pain or a laboured breath - for over a minute. And because it's an audio drama, this means that we don't have any direct indication of just how injured she is, of whether she's fully conscious, of whether she's even still alive. Lovelace's reactions can't tell us much while she's struggling against Cutter's control. And I wouldn't put it past Cutter to gloat to someone unconscious.

The first noise we do hear Minkowski make after being shot in the stomach - the first proof we have that she's still with us - is her gathering her strength and declaring "Renée Minkowski... and that is more than enough to kick your ass!", before punching Cutter. Which is always an incredibly powerful moment. But there's a particular power to it when it also serves as the reveal that Minkowski is still conscious and able to put up resistance. The moment when she asserts her ownership of her own identity feels almost like a moment of rising from the potentially-dead.

I can't fully remember #but I think when I first heard that gunshot I did think she might be dead #The moment of 'Isabel. Shoot her' . gunshot. okay I didn't like the ragad movie much on first watch (I've come around on it since. don't skewer me) but I still maintain that the ideal film adaptation of ragad would be animated, à la Duck Amuck. those two should be tortured by the hand of god continually erasing the background and drawing them into the next scene against their will. you understand my vision

It blew my mind when I realized that there’s a whole group of people who are absolutely certain that they know Louis’ sexuality (the certainty alone is mind blowing) and that the correct answer isn’t straight/gay/bi/queer/anything else that people identify by/don’t know/none of our business/etc., it’s *harry*. And anyone, including (maybe especially) Louis, who dares to say or do anything that allows for the answer to be anything other than *harry* is a lying liar who lies and deserves to be punished. And then it’s turned into some social justice cause like they’re helping Louis and he is/should be grateful. I’d be really fascinated to learn how he’s wrapped his head around this over time and how much he’s able to ignore it.

kuru am feel tired of how often times when tell others that used to have parent help do 'basic things' (like get dress, take shower and bathe self, brush hair, use bathroom) up until certain recent age, they feel react badly and say parent is creepy or weird or gross, maybe even imply sexual abuse. make kuru very mad frustrate.

kuru need help use bathroom until age 9. kuru need sleep in same bed adult until age 12. kuru need help shower and wash body until age 13. kuru still need help today for brush hair and others. is good thing that parent sometimes gived those help!! not bad. not make parent creep. stop say that imply that. is because kuru meet milestone late and need assistance not learn do right. stop assume everything parent do with disabled kid is become creepy. we not babies who need your protection.

my little brother is genuinely such a good creative artist he makes sculpture art projects out of bottles and foil and stuff like that and paints so much and tries different techniques for them i really hope making art is still a hobby for him when hes older and he doesnt give up on it because once he learns actual basics like color theory anatomy perspective etc i wholeheartedly believe he would be a good painter who sometimes also does experimental sculptures
