It’s been a lovely weekend down in Medway with this lovely bunch of friends 😊💜. It was lovely to pop back to my previous home of one of my last chapters yesterday. The Student Union, @thehubmedway was where I spent most of my time working on supporting their events when I studied at the @unikentlive Medway. It was a nice surprise to get a call out on Friday from @thedeependthehub to come and fix the AV system on Sunday (yesterday) just as I used to as I previously managed and looked after the whole system when I worked there. I got to do something I love but also got to see some of the people I love as well 😊💜. A place that will always remain close to my heart 💜. It has been a lovely weekend away with the family in Meopham at this wonderful house. It made my weekend not only to spend time with the family but also to catch up with @littley1974 , @emmakatiefrost and @truzzimusic . Thank you very much for popping by all of you 😊, I really miss you all and the Medway family 💜. Hopefully it won’t be long till I see you all again 😊. Thank you very much to my parents for booking this amazing house, I just fell in love with the place and the garden as well as the surrounding area (more pictures to come)😊💜. It was a well needed and a nicely timed break just before I start my first full time job. It has come to that point in time that I embark on my next adventure after working for and studying at the University of Kent (@unikentlive ) for the last 4 years. There have been some rubbish moments and there have been some amazing moments, but I have loved every minute of it all 💜. I shall always be an advocate of the University of Kent as they have given me loads of opportunities over the years to truly find out what my passion is and what career I wanted to go into. Thank you very much to all the amazing staff at Kent and @gksumedway / @kentunion who have been instrumental in giving me those opportunities 😊. It is time that I move on to my next adventure with @aetna as their new Marketing Coordinator & Analyst 😊. I shall be starting tomorrow which is exciting! Yesterday felt like one of the most difficult days in my life. I moved out of Medway back to Surrey after 4 years of living in Medway. I have made a #MedwayFamily and met so many amazing people, had an amazing time putting on events @unikentlive , @unikentfood venues and @unionsgk , I have made connections at the university and most importantly, I have made friends for life 💜💜. I am so thankful to have been able to spend the last few weeks in Medway and spending time with some of the housemates (@reecelikesanap @joe_rees_123 & @truzzimusic ) and catching up with friends. I have loved every minute of it all! 😊 I felt so emotional shutting the door for the last time and locking up the house after living there for 3 of the 4 years. I am already missing everyone so much. Thank you very much to @truzzimusic , @emmakatiefrost , @joe_rees_123 , @reecelikesanap (the list goes on, I would run out of space if I continued) and everyone else for making my time at Medway such a wonderful part of my life 💜. I am so grateful to have crossed paths with everyone in the Medway community and I hope to stay in touch and see you all soon 💜. I have a quotation that one of my friends came up with: “You may be able to take Arun out of Medway, but you will not be able to take the Medway out of Arun!” I will never forget my experience at the University of Kent, Medway and I will never forget all of my friends, I will miss you all so so much 💜💜. Firstly thank you very much to @unionsgk for this amazing virtual GK Awards evening especially during this difficult time.
