I keep wondering why Doflamingo fired such a horrifyingly large number of bullets at his own brother? After all, it is unlikely that this was caused solely by his extreme irritation, resentment and anger at Rocinante.

I think if Doffy had the chance, he would have fired all 16 (sacred) shots at Corazon, knowing the Heavenly Demon's obsession with everything related to the Tenryubito and their traditions. However, his Flintlock is presumably only a six-shooter. And since Doflamingo prefers to kill his enemies in the same way as any tenryubito, with a pistol, he most likely emptied the entire clip into his brother.

It is logical to assume that he did this because he wanted to kill Rocinante. And kill for sure.

We do not yet know anything about the true strength of the Celestial Dragons or their abilities, but we can say with confidence that they definitely have stamina, endurance and are very tenacious of life. The following examples are worth remembering:

Saint Charlos, who received a terrifying punch from Luffy, a club blow from Mjosgard, and a combined attack from Sai and Leo that few would have survived.

Doflamingo himself, steadfastly withstanding Luffy's powerful blows and even deadly gamma-knife attacks from Trafalgar Law.

Finally, Rocinante himself. After all, his acquaintance with Law begins with the fact that an angry boy delivers a potentially fatal blow with a knife to the offender’s chest, in close proximity to the heart. After which Corazon, as if nothing had happened, again sat next to his brother, showing almost nothing about the severity of his wound. He later received multiple bullet wounds from the Barrel's Pirates and was severely beaten by Vergo and members of the Donquixote family. And after all this, he was still able to stand on his feet. Here it should be remembered that he himself told Law directly (unless, of course, he was lying to calm the child) that such a small thing (as a few bullets in vital organs) would not kill him.

In general, Doflamingo most likely knew what he was doing, and carried out the execution of his brother who was disappointed him with the cold blood. However, rather than a quick death — his “forgiveness” — in the form of a bullet in the head, which he loves to rant about so much, Doffy still preferred for the person who was so close to him six (?) shots to the chest. And terrible slow death from bleeding and cold. God, what a sad fact is this!

Well, I won’t hide the fact that I still desperately want to believe that Rocinante, with his stamina and endurance, was quite capable of surviving the shooting (I believe in the One Piece tradition of bringing characters back to life!) Perhaps, having lost his memory, he is alive and still continues his journey, at least in the ranks of the Revolutionary army. But that's a completely different theory :)

В общем, Дофламинго, скорее всего знал, что он делает, и убил разочаровавшего его брата хладнокровно и продуманно. Что ж, не стану скрывать, мне по-прежнему отчаянно хочется верить в то, что Росинант, со своей стойкостью и выносливостью, вполне был способен пережить расстрел (я верю в традиции One Piece возвращать персонажей к жизни!). Возможно, потеряв память, он жив и все ещё продолжает свой путь, хотя бы, в рядах Революционной армии. Но это уже совершенно другая теория :)

Something interesting about Rocinante (part 2).

I continue the idea that Rocinante was left-handed, and why am I even talking about all this? (look, look, he also throws a grenade with his left hand).

But, most importantly, he shoots from a bazooka and even from a pistol (in the scene with the theft of the Op-Op fruit) with his left hand. Isn't this significant?

As we remember, after the incident with the theft of the fruit, Rocinante is seriously injured. And in the anime they show this separately, unlike in the manga, but his left arm is shot. After being wounded, he practically doesn’t use it anymore.

Now he leans on his right hand, also lights a cigarette with the other hand (although there is a difference between the manga and the anime, this can be seen in the screenshot).

Well, he eventually points the gun at Doflamingo with his right hand. I think this may mean, among other things, that Rocinante did not even think about shooting at his brother, because the likelihood of an accurate hit would have been initially reduced, since the non-dominant hand was used.

These are the facts.

So what was all this investigation for?

It seems to me that Oda deliberately made him left-handed in order, firstly, to maximally emphasize his difference from his older brother in everything, and, secondly, with the symbolism inherent in the author, to reveal his character a little more.

What do we even know about left-handers, especially about left-handed men, of whom there are more percentages than women?

That among them there is a fairly large percentage of people with speech disorders and depression, that among left-handers there are many creative and artistically gifted individuals, while their character is often softer and more vulnerable than right-handers. Sounds familiar, doesn't it?

And in various languages ​​(English “sinistral”, French “gauche”, German “linkisch”, etc.) the word “left-handed” has analogues that emphasize the awkwardness, unhappiness, failure and clumsiness of a person with a leading left hand.

Of course, it has nothing to do with reality, but it fits perfectly into the characteristics of our character, whom we all love so much.

Some thoughts about the differences between manga and anime in the story of Law and Cora.

The illustration for the title is not entirely on topic, it’s just funny how they played up the situation, expanding the moment with touching changes in Law’s behavior - he prepared breakfast for Cora. UwU

As we know, anime adaptations as a rule bring something new to the plot and events of the manga, expanding and complementing them. But sometimes it happens that some manga panels are subject to censorship, or are not transferred to the screen at all. There are many such examples throughout anime, but I am primarily interested, of course, in the story of Law and Rocinante.

In episodes 700 to 706, the anime creators added many additional scenes that expand on the characters and plot. For example, we were shown Rocinante's last fight with members of the Donquixote family. In the manga, as we remember, this was left behind the scenes. We only hear, together with Law, who is sitting in the chest at that moment, only the sounds of Rocinante being beaten by Doflamingo's officers.

The moments of their personal interaction during the journey in search of a cure for Law were also slightly expanded. We saw a little more cute smiles and caring from Rocinante. Especially in the final part of their story. I will never forget this sad and tender look from Cora.

However, to all the good things that happened, some ridiculous and even slightly inappropriate, in my opinion, scenes were also added. At least, it seemed to me that they distorted the image of the character.

For example, the scene of Law being thrown out of the window of the Donquixote pirate base again in second time - why was it so necessary? Wasn't once enough, like in the manga? Add gloomy and cruel senselessness to Corazon’s behavior, increase the degree of his ominous and repulsive aura? Or just for fun? Well I dunno..

Or the scene of Cora-san’s absurd panic over Trafalgar, who had fallen unconscious after his condition worsened.

Of course, I understand that at that moment he was really very scared for him and was upset that the rescue plan would fail, but why was it necessary to add this inappropriate comedy with falling from a cliff and spilling water? To show that Rocinante is clumsy? But this is already understandable, especially since it’s my opinion that he wasn’t THAT clumsy in reality, and, for the most part, he was putting on an act.

But that scene itself was quite tense and disturbing, and certainly not comic.

But the manga scene with Rocinante bandaging himself the wound inflicted on him by the angry boy Law was removed from the anime.

I can understand that they apparently decided to censor the “nudity,” as they did with both Levi and Erwin from Attack on Titan when they similarly removed the wound bandaging scene from the anime.

But at the same time, other characters appeared on the screen with a naked torso quite routinely, so I don’t understand this selectivity of censorship.

Of course, what speaks to me is solely a thirst for justice, and not at all a desire to see his handsome male figure in animation. Hehehe..

But, speaking seriously, this scene had a certain significance in revealing the characters, since it clearly showed what the Donquixote brothers had to go through in childhood and youth. Because, perhaps with a certain degree of probability, Doflamingo also hides somewhat similar scars on his back and shoulders.

Well, this scene also shows Doflamingo’s reaction to his brother’s injury, which is different from the anime version. In the anime, in the presence of other family members, he is quite sympathetic and caringly interested in what happened, how it happened, and advises Corazon to take care of himself.

In the manga, this scene is quite awkward in itself. They both flinch when Doflamingo catches a glimpse of his brother and his wound as he passes by in the hallway. At this moment, when they are "talking", Rocinante stands with his back to his brother, and Doffy looks into the room, and in this communication there is no sense of brotherly care, as it seemed to me. The expression on Doffy's face at this moment is more tense and dissatisfied than worried, which completely changes the entire emotional tone of this scene.

But I will end this mini-analysis on a positive note. Because it was anime episode that gave us that priceless smile of Rocinante. Since in the manga he practically did not smile at all with his real sincere smile. Animators just simply gave us such a priceless treasure ❤️‍🔥

Как известно, аниме адаптация всегда привносит что-то новое в сюжет и события манги, расширяя и дополняя их. Но иногда происходит так, что некоторые панели манги подлежат цензуре, либо не переносятся на экран вовсе. Таких примеров немало во всем аниме, но меня в первую очередь интересует, конечно же, история Ло и Росинанта.

В эпизоды с 700 по 706 создатели аниме добавили множество дополнительных сцен, раскрывающих персонажей и сюжет. Например, нам показали последний бой Росинанта с членами семьи Донкихот. Могу понять, что тут видимо решили зацензурить "обнаженку", как, в свое время, поступили и с Леви, и с Эрвином из Атаки титанов, когда аналогичным образом убрали из аниме сцену перевязки ран. Но ведь при этом других персонажей нам спокойно показывали с обнаженным торсом, так что мне это непонятно.

Разумеется, во мне говорит исключительно жажда справедливости, и нисколько не желание увидеть его красивую мужественную фигуру в анимации. Хе хе хе..

Но, если говорить серьезно, то эта сцена имела определенное значение в раскрытии персонажей, так как показывала наглядно, через что пришлось братьям Донкихот пройти в детстве и юности. Потому что, возможно, с определенной долей вероятности, Дофламинго также скрывает похожие шрамы на своих спине и плечах.

Ну и ещё эта сцена показывает отличную от аниме версии реакцию Дофламинго на ранение брата. В аниме он в присутствии остальных членов семьи вполне участливо и заботливо интересуется, что случилось, как это произошло, и совет��ет Коразону позаботиться о себе.

В манге же эта сцена достаточно неловкая сама по себе. Они оба вздрагивают, когда Дофламинго мимоходом видит брата и его ранение, проходя мимо по коридору. Rosinante's Devil fruit.

I have some pretty obvious thoughts on the Nagi Nagi fruit that Rocinante was the owner of, and I'd like to share them.

I don't remember if the manga or anime talked about how and when exactly he obtained this fruit, and how he himself felt about his power. It seems not. But it can be assumed that he was given it almost immediately before he went on his secret mission to the Donquixote family as a spy.

Firstly, this decision seems logical, since the Devil fruit was literally created for this purpose — absorbing all sounds, working undercover, in complete silence and secrecy. After all, before, while he served as an Marine officer, I think he didn’t really need him. Only if for tactical stealth operations, to silently approach the enemy and inflict maximum damage in a situation of complete surprise.

Secondly, I think it was because Rocinante didn't use it for that long that he didn't use its power to its fullest extent, creating only a soundproof barrier and depriving objects of the ability to make sounds. Hmm. In a fight, Doflamingo, first of all, protects his head using blocks, and simply wraps his arms around it when he flies to the other end of the city from Luffy's 4th Gear.

I like the idea that Doffy built a factory to produce monster Smile fruits that are grown by exposure to a gas called Sad. This is like a reflection of the entire depth of his personality, in which, behind a hysterically wide smile, there is always deeply hidden suppressed sadness and regret about what he has done, which has long thrown him beyond all conceivable limits of morality and humanity.

Unanswered questions.

Let me start by saying that I'm really looking forward to seeing Doflamingo appear again in One Piece. Yes of course, I am very interested in what role this charismatic scoundrel will play in the future and in the finale of the whole story. But I’m even more concerned about answers to questions related to the still unsolved mysteries of his past and everything connected with it.

I would really like to know:

• The real reason why the Donquixote family left The Holy Land of Mariejoise 38 years ago (and whether it has anything to do with the God's Valley incident).

• Is the outcome of this incident at all connected with such an incredible difference in the upbringing of the Donquixote brothers and the development of their characters (I recently wrote my thoughts on this matter).

• What exactly did the Homing's family know about the D heritage and the bearers of this initial (in particular, Rocinante, and how this influenced his fateful decision to save little Law at any cost).

• By whom and for what purposes was Trebol sent to Doffy (after all, it is obvious that the Donquixote family simply could not be left alone after their betrayal of the Celestial Dragons). What role did they prepare for him in the hierarchy of the world, and how successfully did he cope with it in the end? Here I would like to recall Trebol’s interesting phrase about Doffy, which Hody Jones also said to himself at one time. That they were chosen by Heaven itself. I wonder who really put these words in their heads? After all, by Heaven one can only mean one thing — the ruling elite.

• Кем и для каких целей был подослан Требол к Доффи (ведь очевидно же, что семью Донкихот просто физически не могли оставить в покое после их предательства тенрьюбито). Какую роль они ему готовили в иерархии мира, и насколько успешно он с ней справился в итоге.  Тут хочу вспомнить интересную фразу Требола про Доффи, которую также говорил в свое время и Ходи Джонс про себя. О том, что они были избраны самими небесами. Интересно, кто вложил эти слова в их головы на самом деле? Ведь под небесами можно подразумевать только одно — правящую верхушку.

• Ну и все мы помним кандалы на ногах побежденного Требола. Что это вообще было?

• Увидеть подтверждение того, что за семьёй Хоминга действительно непрестанно следили, с них пор, как они переселились из Мариджоа. И, соответственно, что своевременно взяли в оборот Доффи, настроив его против родного отца. При этом вырастив корону величия и превосходства на голове наследника семьи Донкихот. При этом они не оставили без внимания и Роси — ведь насколько же быстро его подобрал Дозор после убийства отца. И нашел его не кто-то, а сам Сенгоку. Что он вообще забыл в этом Норт Блу? Как он там оказался в нужный момент? Сплошные загадки. Да и в целом как так получилось, что братьев изначально развели по разные стороны баррикад — это рука судьбы или все же чей-то умысел?

• Ну и, наконец, что же, черт возьми, такое с глазами у Доффи! Что он скрывает под очками с самого раннего детства? Последствия какой-то травмы, гетерохромию, слепоту на один глаз, косоглазие или же какую-то редкую особенность, подтверждающую сходство с глазами самого Иму?

Одним словом, сплошные загадки. Вопросы без ответов. Однако, тем интереснее будет  узнать ответы на них, если, конечно, Ода посчитает нужным на них ответить.

Three Captains

Monkey D. Luffy, Trafalgar Law, Eustass Kid. Three Captains from the Worst generation. I love their relationship and interactions so much, because they remind me a lot of siblings! All their rivalry, jokes, malicious teasing on the sly and infuriating with snide comments. Inciting and dared eachother to commit illogical, absurd and actually stupid actions.

What’s especially funny is that Luffy, Kid and Law, despite their undoubted mutual respect, recognition of each other’s strengths and moral qualities (which, however, they will never say directly or show clearly), simply cannot be around without pissing each other off. Like three mischievous idiot brothers constantly poking each other with sticks.

We certainly know how Luffy’s childish spontaneity affects Trafalgar and how it can triggered our stern Surgeon of Death. But what about Eustass Kid?

Always cool and calm, Law instantly becomes a bully just by looking at his competitor in the Worst Generation, as was the case when they first met. It’s as if he’s a 13-year-old teenager again: his middle finger extended towards his opponent, and his mischievous grins in a verbal spat with him and quite ambiguous remarks and jokes about his battle tactics against Big Mom. At these moments, even the younger Kid seems like his older brother next to Law.

If Luffy simply infuriates Trafalgar with his childish spontaneity, like a real little brother, Law’s relationship with Eustass is more like a squabble between the same age kids or twins. Well, or at least classmates. And they are both, for a moment, quite adults!

One of them is always angry and aggressive, the second is cold, somewhat arrogant and unsociable. But both seem to happily and unconditionally succumb to the adventurous provocations to which this rivalry pushes them. But Law, even as a child, never succumbed to emotions like that, was a calm and serious older brother for his little sister, and he behaved almost the same way in the Doffy family, before getting closer to Cora. Only with Cora-san his emotions manifested themselves much more vividly and diversely. Who knows, maybe Kid evokes in Law some hidden associations with his benefactor, at least externally, since he can feel so relaxed and spontaneous in his presence.

So I'm very interested in what kind of chemistry is between the three Captains. Is this the influence of the power of Luffy’s fruit, or the influence of D. It still seems to me that Kid may also very well turn out to be a representative of this clan, because we don’t know anything about him yet (and besides, that’s exactly how I explained that erroneous the disappearance of the second letter D from his name, ha ha). Or is it simply a clash of similar sides of independent and free characters, but at the same time I get the feeling of precisely brotherly ties with all their feigned hostility and causticity.

I really hope that in the future they will remain comrades on the same side of the barricades, and that the fight for the Main Prize will not make them real enemies. I find their stupid relationship very valuable and touching. After all, this is a real, albeit not blood, brotherhood. And One Piece is wonderful in precisely these interactions and relationships.

Словно три вредных брата-идиота, постоянно тыкающих друг друга палками.

Мы давно знаем, как действует на Трафальгара детская непосредственность Луффи и как это триггерит нашего сурового хирурга Смерти. Но что насчёт Юстасса Кида?

Всегда хладнокровный и спокойный Ло моментально заводится и включает хулигана, только взглянув на своего конкурента по Худшему поколению, как было при первой их встрече. Словно он снова 13-летний подросток: и этот его средний палец, вытянутый навстречу сопернику, и шкодные ухмылки в словесной перепалке с ним и вполне себе двусмысленные замечания и шуточки по поводу его тактики боя против Большой Мамочки. В эти моменты даже более младший по возрасту Кид кажется рядом с Ло его старшим братом.

Если Луффи просто бесит Трафальгара и выводит из себя непосредственностью, как самый настоящий младший братишка, с Юстассом у Ло отношения больше похожи на перепалки погодок или близнецов. Ну или хотя бы одноклассников. А они оба, на минуточку, вполне себе взрослые люди!

Один — мрачно-злобный, вечно сердитый и агрессивный, второй — холодно-отстраненный, несколько высокомерный и нелюдимый. Но оба словно с радостью, безоговорочно поддаются авантюрным провокациям, на которые их толкает это соперничество. А ведь Ло, даже будучи ребенком, никогда так не поддавался эмоциям, был спокойным и серьёзным старшим братом для своей сестрёнки, практически также он себя вел и в семье Доффи, до сближения с Корой. А вот с ним как раз его эмоции проявлялись куда более ярко и разнообразно. Как знать, может Кид и вызывает в Ло какие-то скрытые ассоциации со своим благодетелем, хотя бы внешние, раз он может себя чувствовать настолько расслабленным и непосредственным в его присутствии.

В общем, мне очень интересно, что же это за химия такая между тремя Капитанами. Воздействие ли это силы фрукта Луффи, или же влияние Ди (мне до сих пор кажется, что Кид тоже вполне может оказаться представителем этого клана, ведь мы ничего про него пока не знаем, ну и, к тому же, я именно так себе и объяснила то ошибочное исчезновение из его имени второй буквы Д, ха-ха). Либо же это просто столкновение схожих сторон независимых и свободных характеров, но при этом у меня возникает ощущение именно братских связей при всех их напускной враждебности и колкости.

Очень надеюсь, что в будущем они останутся боевыми товарищами по одну сторону баррикад, и борьба за главный приз не сделает их настоящими врагами. Мне кажутся очень ценными и трогательными их дурацкие отношения. Ведь это и есть настоящее, пусть и не кровное, братство. А Ван Пис именно такими взаимодействиями и отношениями и чудесен.

Обожаю этих морепридурков)

Parallels in Trigun and One Piece.

Today I would like to share my thoughts about the parallels and references in One Piece, which I noticed for myself when watched the anime Trigun — both versions old and new (and yes, I came to them after I caught up with OP ongoing). I may have imagined something, but some parallels suggest themselves. I think Oda-san, like many other mangakas, took a lot of inspiration from Yasuhiro Naitou's classic work.

Analysis may and does content ! spoilers !

1. First of all, from the direct references and easter eggs of Oda-sensei, I would note the similarity of Sanji holding a wounded Zoro on his shoulders, bandajed like a cross, in the Wano arc with Nicholas D. (!) Wolfwood, with his big weapon-cross at the ready. It was a funny gag from Odacchi :)

2. Then, the "Sandsteamer" in Trigun reminded me very much of the "Sea Train" in OP. I don’t know if this is a reference or not, but they definitely have something in common. The principle of movement of steam vehicles in an atypical environment.

3. Another point - the antagonist character of one of the episodes (just about the Sandsteamer), Brilliant Dynamites Neon, very much reminded me of Arlong, both with his toothy design and his charisma.

4. Well, the gang of the Donquixote family reminded me in many ways in its diversity of Knives’ organization “The Gung-Ho-Guns”. (And also it reminded me the BB crew too).

5. Well, the most important parallel for me is the clear and definite similarity of the story and the contrast between the main characters of Trigun - Knives Millions and Vash the Stampede with the Donquixote brothers. I’ll go into more detail here, because there are plenty of references, besides the fact that each of them is a handsome blond.

▪️If Vash, in fact, bears little resemblance to Rocinante, except for his wounded and scarred body and the fact that, unlike his brother, he is also kind and soft-hearted. Both of them often play the fool, posing as awkward, stupid simpletons (with different goals, of course), and at the same time almost never show outsiders their deeply sad soul, traumatized by losses and experiences.

▪️Doflamingo personality as character imo was largely inspired as personality of Knives, as it seemed to me. The parallel is that he and his brother are similarly representatives of a superior (in their opinion) race, but they only treat ordinary people differently.

▪️Knives and Doflamingo, unlike their kind brothers, are evil incarnate. Proud, arrogant and cruel. Intolerant and merciless towards human weaknesses and any manifestations of kindness and gentleness. Both have a justified and (from their pov) very logical reason to hate people as a race and the whole world order.

And both also have a plan to destroy the world that does not suit them and build their own, ideal one. Both of them are involved in the murder of people dear to their brothers (father for Roci, Rem for Vash). Well, in both cases, the good brothers are trying with all their might to prevent the implementation of the grandiose plans of the evil brothers.

▪️Well, I must say that the showdown between Vash and Knives ends in the anime much less disastrously than that of Doffy and Roci. But even in the general plans of these scenes, analogies and parallels are visible, as it seemed to me. 😢

Well, as you know, the brilliant refers to the great. I'm glad that for all their similarities, these stories and characters turned out to be different. Oda may have been inspired by the work of his predecessor, but he created his own epoch-making story with a great plot and beloved, touching characters.

Сегодня я хотела бы поделиться своими мыслями насчёт параллелей и отсылок в One piece, которые отметила для себя, когда посмотрела аниме Триган — обе версии (да, я дошла до них уже после того, как нагнала онгоинг Куска). Что-то, возможно, мне померещилось, но кое-какие параллели напрашиваются сами собой. Думаю, Ода-сан, как и многие другие мангаки, немало почерпнул для вдохновения из ставшей классикой работы Ясухиро Найто.

1. Прежде всего, из прямых отсылок и пасхалок Оды-сенсея я бы отметила сходство Санджи, держащего на плечах раненого Зоро, перемотанного как крест, в арке Вано с Николасом Д. (!) Вулфвудом, с его оружием-крестом наперевес. Это был смешной гэг от Одаччи:)

2. Затем, Песчаный Пароход мне очень сильно напомнил Морепоезд. Не знаю, отсылка это или нет, но что-то общее в них точно есть. Принцип движения парового транспорта в нетипичной для него среде.

3. Ещё один момент — персонаж одного из эпизодов (как раз про Песчаный пароход), Brilliant Dynamites Neon, очень сильно напомнил мне Арлонга, как зубастым дизайном, так и своей харизмой.

4. Ну и банда семьи Донкихот мне во многом напомнила своим разнообразием организацию Найвса "The Gung-Ho-Guns".

5. Ну, и самая главная для меня параллель — явная и определенная схожесть истории и противопоставления главных персонажей Тригана — Найвса Миллионса и Вэша Урагана с братьями Донкихот. Тут остановлюсь подробнее, ведь отсылок, помимо того, что каждый из них прекрасный блондин, предостаточно.

Если Вэш, по сути, мало чем напоминает Росинанта, кроме израненного и покрытого шрамами тела и того, что он, в отличие от брата, также добрый и мягкосердечный. Оба они часто придуриваются, изображая из себя неловких глуповатых простаков (с разными целями, разумеется), и при этом почти никогда не показывают посторонним свою глубоко печальную и травмированную потерями и переживаниями душу.

Дофламинго же, как мне показалось, во многом списан с Найвса. Параллель в том, что они с братом аналогично являются представителями высшей (по их мнению) расы, только относятся к обычным людям по-разному.

Найвс и Дофламинго, в отличие от своих добрых братьев — воплощённое зло. Гордые, высокомерные и жестокие. Нетерпимые и беспощадные к человеческим слабостям и любым проявлениям доброты и мягкости. У обоих есть обоснованная и очень логичная с их точки зрения причина ненавидеть людей и существующее мироустройство. А также есть план по разрушению не устраивающего их мира и построения своего собственного, идеального. И тот, и другой причастны к убийству дорогих для их братьев людей (отец для Росинанта, Рем для Вэша). Ну и, в обоих случаях, реализации грандиозных планов злых братьев всеми силами пытаются помешать добрые.

Ну и, должна сказать, разборки между Вэшем и Найвзом заканчиваются в аниме куда менее плачевно, чем у Доффи и Роси. Но даже на общих планах этих сцен видны аналогии и параллели, как мне показалось. 😢💔

Что ж, как известно, гениальное отсылает к великому. Я рада, что при всей своей схожести, эти истории и персонажи получились все же разными. Ода, возможно и вдохновлялся работой предшественника, но создал свою собственную эпохальную историю с великолепным сюжетом и любимыми, трогающими за душу персонажами.

God Valley incident and Saint Donquixote Homing. Theory.

SPOILER ALERT!!!

It seems like Oda is slowly starting to shed some light on this story.

According to Chapter 1095, this incident happened 38 years ago. We still don’t know clearly what exactly happened there. However, there is a high probability that it was this bloody and inhumane event that could have influenced Donquixote Homing’s tragic decision to lay down all the benefits and privileges of the Tenryūbito himself and his family, become ordinary people and move to live in the lower world.

And, perhaps, this decision reflected a desire not to participate in the outrages of the Celestial dragons anymore and a need for atonement arose.

These are just my thoughts, but looking at the events chronologically may explain it a bit.

41 years ago the first child, Doflamingo, was born into the Homing family. For three years he has been raised as a Tenryūbito, in the full sense of the word, instilling all their manners and arrogance. And three years is a very long time in raising a child.

39 years ago, two years later, Rocinante was born. A year after his birth, an incident occurs in the God Valley. Something changes in the worldview of Homing and his wife, Rocinante begins to be raised differently. After another five years, they move from The Holy Land Mary Geoise to meet their destiny in the world of ordinary people.

One way or another, this horrifying event could not but affect their fate, I am sure of it. Moreover, this also influenced the difference in the characters of the brothers. 41 год назад в семье Хоминга рождается первенец, Дофламинго. Три года его воспитывают как тенрьюбито, в полном смысле этого слова, прививая все их замашки и высокомерие. А три года в воспитании ребенка это очень много.

Через 2 года, 39 лет назад, рождается Росинант. Через год после его рождения происходит инцидент в Долине Богов. Что-то меняется в мировоззрении Хоминга и его жены, Росинанта начинают воспитывать иначе. Ещё через пять лет они перебираются из Мариджоа навстречу своей судьбе в мир обычных людей.

Так или иначе, но это громкое событие не могло не повлиять на их судьбу, я в этом уверена. Более того, это повлияло также и на разницу характеров братьев.
