To start off, I just wanna say that Fae (acuar-io) has some absolutely STUNNING sims, it's hard to exactly word it, but their sims are SUPER recognizable, and their saves (Snow flower, Cozy save, etc) are SO nicely edited, so aesthetically pleasing to the eyes 🫶😩

@oshinsimblr is the reason why I started storytelling (even before my simblr time) and why I try and find a story-related reason on why my sims/characters do certain things, her videos are also SO comforting and i love her lovesick series!!! and of course, @minimooberry the whole inspo for this simblr and why I render in blender!

@mattodore and @cinamun are AMAZING simblrs if u want rich storytelling and/or well-thought out characters, River has inspired me to really tear into my characters and give them more personality, and cina just genuinely makes such realistic characters and the tea is ALWAYS hot and simblr aside, she has very good takes >:P

@groovetrys and @circusjuney have been around on my blog and as my mutuals for a LONG time and they really are some of my biggest hype people, lori has an AMAZING legacy going on with her sim, Melody, and u should DEF check it out, and june makes the most amazing clown sims 🥹 theyre always so pretty and STUNNINGGGG

-> To add onto the above category, id also consider @miralure as one of my biggest hype ppl!!! Although they havent been around as long as june and lori, they always hype me up and it makes me stupid happy 😭 they make REALLY good lookbooks and i love their sim style SMMMM

if u dont know about @rebouks what are you DOING with your simblr-life, bc becca has some of the most human-feeling story/dialogue, i always get a stupid sappy smile on my face when i read her story posts

@jarakio has an AMAZING story called Girls with Guns and its prolly my fav story that ive read on simblr, the dialogue? amazing, the poses? amazing, the vibes? AMAZING, i'm ALWAYS hooked in whenever i see GwG pop up on my dash

@stellarfalls just HAD to be on this list are u kidding me????? Bree has a PHENOMENAL save called Valley, even tho there's no dialogue, each image and gif speaks more than words could, she's inspired me to kick up the quality of my posts and also start making gifs, I also consider her to be one of my biggest hype ppl, she always be coming in with the best compliments 🥹🫶

@torissims !!! She makes BEAUTIFUL posts, her blog is very yellow and orange and i LOVE IT, she pulls a lot of inspo from Studio Ghibli and even tho ive never seen any SG Movies, I can just see and feel the inspo, shes def underrated af 🥹

@amburgundy has BEAUTIFUL builds, and they dont just do TS4, they also make builds in other sims games!! (u did a phenomenal job with Madi's legacy house amber 🤝) I LOVE the clutter and they always looks so cozy 😭

@flovoid is another one of my hypemen LMFAOOO bro you and your tags literally make me so happy, i LOVE reading them. Flo makes AMAZING SIMS, and you should check out literally ALL of their sims, especially their sims Roo and Norman from Majima Land (first post under my Roo tag is me reacting to one of their posts with Roo and Norman, funniest introduction to a blog ever), Also their sim, Draco Almond??? He's got me tucking my hair behind my ear... 🫦🫦

@elderwisp has some of the most immaculate editing ive ever seen, the lighting, the vibes, the dialogue, the poses, the expressions, i be eating those posts up like im fine dining 😩😩

@changingplumbob is so chill, I love how much passion she has for her rotations, and her love for cats?? Perfect mutual to have, I also literally LOVE reading her behind the scenes posts, they're literally so funny 😭😭

@tricoufamily and @dejasenti99 make absolutely phenomenal renders, like if theres any renders on simblr that im gonna recognize immediately, its these two's renders, they're genuinely more HQ than my fucking eyes 😭😭

-> Also Nat (Missatan) makes incredibly HQ renders as well, these three are like... my biggest blender render inspos...

@buttertrait @missatan @virtualfolk @pearlean @claudtrait all have BEAUTIFUL sim styles, butter's is very unique, i know they arent really a sims 4 blog anymore but i ALWAYS recognize butter's sims when i see them on my dash and I genuinely love their sim style sm. Nat (Missatan) has SUCH a gorgeous sim style, you've heard of them hips dont lie, well her sims' lips dont lie 😩🫦 Virt (Virtualfolk) and Sam's (pearlean) sim styles are SO animated (if that makes sense), they're like eye-candy. Den (claudtrait), like Nat, has a sim style with the most luscious lips and poutiest faces ive ever seen and are just SOO pleasing to look at, like i just feel blessed in the eyes when i see their sims

@yukikocloud 's Apricot save and storytelling is incredibly reminiscent of Bree's posts, and I just LOVE looking at and reading her story posts, this post in particular just absolutely captivated me, I was drawn in and just get so giddy seeing the Apricot save pop up on my dash 🥹

@alientown @venriliz @nefarrilou @druidberries @machinegrl make STUNNINGGGGG occult (or cyber/robotic in Baja/Machinegrl's instance) sims. Nef always makes beautiful sims for their Cryptid "series", im just in AWE when i see their cryptids... Ven and Ana (alientown) both always make absolutely gorgeous alien sims and they also just have very unique/beautiful sim styles 😍 Baja's cyber girlies are just >>>>>>>>>>>>> I love her whole dystopian/cyber theme, its literally so good and so cool, and her Deadstars series? SO good. Alexis' (druidberries) elowen is so pretty, and her sim style, especially with occults, is just MWAH chefs kiss, literal eye candy

@swallowprettybird is just one of the sweetest people on simblr, I love reading what she has to say about mine and others' posts, and she makes amazingggg posts, I loved that one national geographic inspired post with the zebra, it was so well done

@softle0 makes some absolutely stunning builds, they always look so lived in, so cozy and I would ABSOLUTELY live in pretty much every single build they make

@changingplumbob and her amazing stories with amazing families. I love each of them. Kirsty plays the game with a huge and contagious passion. Each of her oc's is different and has its own story.

It's touch me and makes root for each character, through victories, mistakes, and life circumstances. She also has a great sense of humor! Her game sometimes throws up such funny situations! In general, Kirsty knows how to turn the usual gameplay into an exciting journey and I definitely recommend you to join. Also, I am very impressed with her playing style. And if I'm ever going to play a ts4 (as gameplay lmao), she'll definitely be the one to inspire me how.

@holocene-sims i love all about Grant and his life. This is such a vital and real, deep story. I love experiencing all the happy and poignant moments with him as well. His example teaches me not to give up and to live in spite of everything, and to be honest, the thought of this sometimes supported me in difficult moments.

I love talking with you about him and the family and about Junga, she's wonderful. 😇 I'm always looking forward to new episodes.

And Ana is my main inspiration for my main story. If you see a new episode of Cursed Chronicles, you should know that part of the gratitude lies with Ana. ❤️

i) @farfallasims ⋆ madi creates one of the most amazing soft-glam simming styles that exudes the perfect elegance, and the quality of the aesthetic + screenies are chef's kiiisss! even before becoming an active simblr, i've always adored madi and her gameplay. ii) @aashwarr ⋆ MY BIGGEST GAMEPLAY INSPIRATIONNNN. ashley has me wrapped around her finger the time she starts the discover university lp. i love chasity, i love cameron, i loooove how the gameplay and the simblr updates are done, and they're sooo realistic. my first posts of cam and ado, esp the one at the pool are heavily inspired by chasity and cameron's posts during chasity's b'day. moreoveeerr, queen ashley creates such gorggg builds and sims. like seriously, what can i ask more? iii) @rimings ⋆ miss rimings is my most favorite clothing cc maker eveeeerrrr 🥺💗 she creates the prettiest chic slash preppy cc women clothes with high-end brands and beautiful colors. special shoutout to how her ccs are organized cuz nothing stands out on my cas more than her ccs. and they're not like the clothes that will just sit on your mods folder for nothing! believe it or not, you'll find yourself using at least 80% of her contents soon or later. they're very functional slash useful and pretty. iv) @largetaytertots ⋆ miss tayyyy, ahhh! i've been helped to such an extent during my early sim-four-ing days (which is last year) because she creates the most helpful videos regarding aesthetic gameplays, useful mods, realistic cc finds, and soo many more. like if i didn't see her contents, i might've not gotten to this point. so much love to miss taytay. v) @babyetears ⋆ another favorite women clothing cc makeeer! babyetears create the most badass slash quirky women clothing ccs that are suitable for y2k aesthetics and i looove that so much. i mostly use their ccs for my sims who are like,, #.asian_babygirls, gamers, twitch-streamers, baddie babies, youtubers, and the list goes on. what i love more about them is the fact that they also create the cutest and hottest nsfw fits! so adorable, really. vi) @rhdweauni0 ⋆ my favorite sims makerr! i wouldn't be dwelling in sims four this deep if it wasn't for any sims they created. the women sims? slayed. the men sims? slapped. literally the hottest sims maker i've ever seen (not exaggerated).

(Late) 2023 Simblr Gratitude Day!

I'm late but I still wanted to set some time aside to show my gratitude for all the lovely, amazing, and kind-hearted people in this community!

My Inspirations

♡ @amiisims: She deleted her account, but back in 2013, I came across her Tumblr (probably through the Sims Community Forum?). I read through her 100 Baby Challenge and made my little 13-year-old self want to create a Tumblr account and give the challenge a try too. It's really because of her that I learned I love being on here, sharing my sims, and seeing other people's sims and stories. I'm 23 now and things haven't changed.

♡ @misslollypopsims: She inspired me to try out the Joy of Life Challenge! I watch all the videos on YouTube and they're sooooooo good. I love her energy and creative mind. The way she cleverly uses the things that happen during her gameplays to develop a story is so fascinating to me.

@simelune: She created the Joy of Life Challenge! I love how thorough it is but still leaves a lot of room for freedom. The challenge is engaging and I don't feel so pressured trying to reach every goal. I also appreciate the meaning behind the challenge because it really is the small joys in life that make it worthwhile.

▬ Favorite Three Ships: My favorite tv show of all time is Hart of Dixie because I'm a very cheesy person so: Zoe x Wade, Lavon x AB (YEAH LET ME CRY ABOUT THAT OK) and Lavon x Lemon (because they're still made for each other). (OK but I have the same love for those Lavon ships that I have for Stiles Stilinski x Malia Tate in Teen Wolf).

▬ Last Movie: It's hm been a while. I'm not really a movie gal? Pretty sure last movie I watched in theaters was Barbie, on my own.

▬ Currently Reading: Beatrice Hyde-Clare Mysteries series. I'm looking for a specific edition at the moment but I should start reading book 3 soon!

▬ Craving: chocolate. 'cause I always crave that. And I also kinda want something salty. Salted caramel + chocolate nomnom.

More About Maya

Hi you guys!

I just wanted to formally introduce myself here on tumblr; my name is Maya and I'm a 23 year old from the US. I've been playing the Sims for about 10+ years now on console (Wii, Xbox, PS4) and transitioned to PC game play this past year!

I've been following Sims 4 content on TikTok and Youtube for a while now, and @oshinsimblr, @neecxle, @bunsbunss, @aashwarr and @largetaytertots have been my main sources of inspo (Mimi and Tay are literal goals lmaoo); I loved the idea of slower gameplay that focused on storylines and expanding the lives of Sims.

As far as my own content, I'll be focusing on townie revamps and altering my save file to fit my aesthetic! I'll also be posting mini machinimas to illustrate my editing and storytelling style (on TikTok too!), but please feel free to leave suggestions in the comments below on what you'd like to see! So I got to do the "Remaking my mutual's sim in my simstyle" by @buttertrait with @miralure's Sim/OC, and I chose Megan Faust, I couldn't really choose who to do, but Megan really stuck out to me and I don't know why, but I ended up remaking her! I want to post more in general, I took a break from simblr and now I'm having a lot of fun. It's been a good creative outlet for me so far this year.

what do you want from the sims franchise?

I want more small animations, I was just watching someone stream Sims 3 and they were flying kites and I was just like... man that looks so fun.
