The fashion industry is significantly making the world a better place. The fashion industry is the second largest industry in the world. It is bound to either make the world better or worse and no middle grounds. Like any other basic needs, apparel is a necessity for every human being. Fashion is not so far from a basic need for clothing. Say, an aspiring model can’t go in for an audition in sweatpants and hoodies. He or she should dress up for their job. So fashion and necessity clothing are braided together. It is right to say that clothing evolved with human needs, breezy clothes for tropical weather and heavy parkas for cold weather. Fashion has a big hand in a society’s betterment, majorly it includes economy and environment. The visible betterment through fashion is economical changes in the society. Since long ago, cities were built based on the industrial development and employment based on that particular industry. Fashion is no different. The manufacturing and distribution of clothes require manual labour, leading to employment. A cities development also comes with schools, hospitals, roads, electricity, and transport and so on. With such a development in the society, it is safe to say that fashion is a globally influential industry. You have an option to choose clothes that are eco-friendly. There are hundreds of brands that manufacture clothes considering the environment. A 100% cotton clothes are so popular among the people trying to live a green life. Many designer clothing lines have been facing allegations of child labour for so long. Now the brands have come forward with tags saying that the clothes are manufactured without child labour. Some of the clothing lines also include the place of cotton harvest, labour and eco-friendly manufacturing. Global warming scare has affected the fashion industry big time. The impact can be seen in the fabric and production. Wearing eco-friendly clothes could be a small contribution to the environment from our part. DH has always been considerate about a society’s well being. DH not only supports the designers. We are helping kids that are less fortunate as well, free insulin, cleft surgery and education. A small input to a country’s economic growth. A part of the revenue from an upcoming event DH fashion week will be donated to Sweet Kidz. Fashion is changing the world for good.
