Why this duo name? Name credit goes to @yellumina !! I’ve seen it used sparingly for this duo and it makes sense. Phil’s connection with gapples is obvious, Dream is often depicted with them in manhunt art, and did you know that piglins are attracted to gapples just like other golden items?? (And don’t talk to me about lore headcanons where c!Dream is forced to eat gapples in the prison...)

My all time favorite Yu-Gi-Oh series, it starts in canon and becomes canon-divergent, and it is just written so well! I’ve already read it three times straight and I’ll probably read it again.

Series Summary: Originally a series of canon-compliant stories spanning the six month gap between the defeat of Pegasus and the arrival of Otogi, it now includes a branch-off story that changes the climax of the Millennium World arc and explores what would have happened if Atem had gotten his own body a month prior to leaving for Egypt. Fic Finders Author Faves

Some author recs from our Fic Finders team! (we love and appreciate all Sheith authors in this house, but here’s just a few that have given us some great content over the years!)

Latart0903 @latart - best known for the "Strengths and Weaknesses" series and probably the biggest reason I became a Sheith shipper. She surrounds Shiro and Keith with an amazing set of OCs as they meet and come together in the year before the Kerberos mission (begun long before we got the canon history between them).

Kittymills @flashedarrow - probably best know for the "Married at First Sight" AU and that remains my favorite series from her, but she has over 40 VLD fics with a variety of content and approaches to Sheith, with a side of Allurance.

Lionescence - do you just want to FEEL things? It can be joy or loss or pain or triumph, but he has such a way of writing that captures emotions like nobody's business. Personal favorites include "Unlock the Rain" and "Make Me Weightless, Let Me Fly".

Lasersheith - a king of humor. Whether the setup itself is silly or the fallout from it, Sam is incredibly funny but also has a deft touch with character interaction, from friendship to romance. Personal faves: "Beam Me Up, Hottie", "The Way You Looked at Me", and "Serendipity's Wings".

Starboykeith - I'm not sure if she was the first Sheith author I read with a lot of PWP, but she is definitely one I would come back to and re-read because I really enjoyed the style and the depth of nuance in some of her work. Personal favorites include the "Guys My Age" series and "Lacuna".

Redluxite (wordstruck) @redluxite - I adore their work. I've felt emotions ranging from 'God, I don't want to feel anymore, take it away' to 'this is so cute I might actually die' while reading the following stories: "someone to you" and "everything, yourself, and home".

Arahir @arahir- fandom staple tbh. Her works have made me cry on more than one occasion and I'm not ashamed to admit it. Personal recommendations: "shorts and drabbles", "all you love, you keep" and "got me feeling sub kind of way"

I’ll Tattoo (My Soul on You) - Kenda1L

Soulmarks don’t just appear on the skin, they have to be inked by someone with the Sight. It's a very prestigious calling and one not many have the gift for. Keith is a tattoo artist who got into scamming Soulmarks as a way to get him out of his group home. He’s good at it too; he doesn’t just go around tattooing whatever he feels like. He’s a matchmaker and his matches are good, damn it. No one has a 100% success rate though, so when someone starts to get suspicious or he starts attracting too much attention, he simply picks up shop and moves on. It works for him. He's doing good work. He is!

Keith has a moment where he wonders, somewhat blankly, how he bought this perfectly serviceable shirt and then promptly forgot its existence. Then he looks down. And remembers in a series of post traumatic flashbacks exactly why he’d blocked the shirt from his consciousness.

Namely, three words, in a font that isn’t comic sans but comes insultingly close to it, garnished with red glitter: Daddy’s Little Boy.

“Keith?” Very slowly, he turns to look at the closed door to his bedroom. “Keith, are you okay? I heard…” Probably some kind of vaguely strangled noise. But Shiro’s too nice to articulate that kind of thing. “Keith? If you don’t answer, I’m coming in.”
