Winter Package 2021 Part 1

My thoughts and commentary as I watch Winter Package 2021! There is only the one making DVD in this package (107 minutes long). The other part of this was just the photobook and extra merch. Reminder that these are just my thoughts, it's not very organized. You get me typing it out as I go like I'm reacting to a friend. Somewhat like a bullet point format in a way. Love these packages! Winter Package 2021 was filmed in Gangwon-do, South Korea. They were there shooting from 201208 through 201210. B cuts from their photoshoots posted by Naver here. The video opens up with all the covid safety precautions. Lmfao peak pandemic video vibes. The start is of their first shoot at the hotel. So cozy and the outfits were amazing. Then they all went to the beach for indivual, unit and group shoots! Vhopemin were the first unit, followed by Jinkook and Namgi! Namjoon was so excited to get to shoot with Suga. It was so sweet. He said it had been 6 long months and he was going to keep these photos until he died 😭 they missed him so much.

Jimin kept everyone giggling. Lol so cute. And Jimin's memories of the winter ocean included when he jumped into the cold ocean with Suga holding hands as a penalty 🥺🥺 Everyone else talking and there is JK shouting "ahhhh" lol cold maybe? Jimin just giggling and pointing at him! They then all went to go eat dinner together at a restaurant 금화정막국수 and Jikook sat next to each other and JK barely talked he was just enjoying his food too much! Lol

To end the first day of filming, Suga MC'd their games related to childhood, and they decided to just do their teams by table. So we got Namkook, Jinkook, Vhope. And they all picked unit names for their teams. Lol Ugh (namkook), Jinji-do and Vope. They played a complete the fairytale game and so many giggles. Lol Jimin trying to help JK cheat and give a hint when he got stuck on an answer, but he still got it wrong! The next game they played was looking at pictures drawn by kids and guessing who it is 😂 Jimin going "ayee" and pinching Tae's cheek when he saw the portrait he thought was of V!

The one kid who said they wanted to do a princess role play with the member they drew 😭 and it was Jimin who they drew! Jimin wanted to say thank you to the kid too 🥺 And we know that it was actually Son Sungduek's son (Moa) who made Jimins photo thanks to his insta post! The way everytime JinMin are on a team together and win a game, they jump into each other's arms is adorable! Yoongi throwing shade at all the members for their origami skills in game 2 😂 and they ended their day with yummy snacks!

They ended day 1 with their diaries as always. Tae said the most memorable part of the day for him was the drive and that he fell asleep during it. Lol JKs favorite part of the day was dinner because it was really yummy (we can tell he enjoyed it!) Jimin crashed Jins diary time and wrote on his page that he was proud of him 🥺 these 2 on this day man! Jin wrote about the rocks and the ocean. Jimin wrote about how the sky looked so pretty while he was getting ready that it made him happy. Hobi wrote about the winter ocean and enjoying the photoshoot. Namjoon wrote about playing games and eating snacks. Suga wrote about how he was on a low carb diet but broke it for good food at dinner.

The last part of the day was the video diaries too before going to sleep from Joon, Suga and Hobi. They all looked so sweet. Namjoon bringing up again how special it was to have Yoongi back with them. Hobi talking about being scared but also excited to go ziplining the next day. And Yoongi talking about his rehab, being back to work and excited for beer tasting the next day, even if it's a 2 hour drive away.

Day 2 kicks off with everyone going to the High1 Ski Resort for the next photoshoot! Which is one of the absolute cutest they've ever done in my opinion!! Photos in the snow with a bright concept. And i love it. Everyone skidding around in the snow, so cute. Jinjikook have a unit shoot and JK initates chaos by starting a snowball fight and jinkook quickly spiral out of control with their snowball fight 😂 JK with his cute blue and pink fake highlights! The way they match Jimins blue hair too! It's always them!! Lol jinjikook playing rock paper scissors to see who has to roll down the hill. JK loses and Jimin tells him immediately not to actually do it, it's dangerous while Jin just encourages bad behavior the whole time 😂 This trio! Sope is the next unit who practice their English on the ski lift on the way up to the shooting site! Vmon being the last unit and looking so cuddly! Jimin and Jin running up yelling so pretty and taking photos of them too! Lol Hobi taking photos of Jimin and Jin while holding his hand on break, JK taking a photo of Tae doing a pull up too! Jinkook wrestling match round 2 happening as well 😂🤣 Jikook playing around with the giant fake snowball before the group shoot starts. Everyone just seems like they are having so much fun! The everyone cuddling Suga group shot is probably my favorite. The sweet jinkook backhug after all the bickering today is so nice. Lol and the way Tae melts into Jimin is so freaking cute.

They then all head off to their activities in 2 teams. Yoonminkook to go make beer and the others for ziplining and yoga. Lol 2seok getting really nervous and asking if it's too late to go make beer instead 🤣 everyone said they were only here for the yoga lol and the relaxing chill entrance to the brewery in contrast. Lol Jimin saying that Suga had made beer before but it was our (jikooks) first time. The cuts between the 2 groups 😭🤣 everyone being so scared about getting ready to zipline vs everyone calmly learning about the brewery tools and getting a tour and a promise to taste test some beer too. Lol regardless of being scared, when it was over they all had so much fun on the zipline and loved it! I loved seeing them all have fun!

It's the way jikook always talk mostly to each other even as they speak to the whole group. Lol they loved the beer! They are all so cute! Jimin scolding JK "don't get too excited" when they were sitting down in front of all new beers to try and JK automatically started trying to touch them. Lol Jimin sharing that his first try of black beer was one that Jin bought him years ago and he didn't really like it. JinMin are really so freaking cute this package. I can't stop loving on them. Suga encouraging Jimin saying it's bitter so you tend to like it more as you get older. Lol yoonminkook make 3 types of beer today while they are there. JK cracking jokes and making Jimin laugh so hard 🥺 Jimin saying his acting has gotten better and JK just going "ayee." Sigh, these two. So many little touches through this whole trip too. JK stirs so aggressively when making his beer! Lol! Jimin scolding him again when it's time to move on but he doesn't stop. The armpit tickles and chest smacking! 🤣 JK saying he wishes they could share the beer they made with the other members too!

The guys doing yoga being so cute!! 2seok in the back keep giggling to each other. Lol Tae accidentally falling over during meditation. When told to get more comfortable. Joon tells Hobi he is sitting like his Mom 😅🤣 anyone else really enjoy the yoga and all the tips over good breathing and how relaxing that all was. And Tae saying how nice it was to be there with them and happy being together over their dinner 🥺 the teams had dinner together and yoonminkook had the other members send them a video of them ziplining and they watched it being so endeared 🥺 Jimin saying he originally wanted to do yoga but ended up doing beer instead but still had fun. Lol wonder if he was talked into it by someone or by Yoonkook together. Lol

Day 2 ends with the diaries and video logs before sleep too! I'll cover those for the end of Day 2 and all of day 3 in part 2 of this post! I wanted to be able to include more photos so I I'm splitting this up into 2 posts and unfortunately that means day 2 gets spilt up too! Lol they all had so much fun and that's honestly all I want to be able to see! Thanks for letting me share!!

I haven’t posted any reminders since about August, so I thought I’d just share a few friendly reminders, more so for new followers, while I’m thinking of them and have a moment:

I’ve said this before but it doesn’t hurt to reiterate. Please remember I do my best to be objective, but sometimes I like to voice my opinion. In that instance, I disclaim where I want to speculate. Clips are provided for you to draw your own conclusions. Taekook speak for themselves so letting their actions and words do the talking is very easy to do☺️I have a total blast chronologically archiving their beautiful bond over the years, sourced by fan cams and official videos. When there are opinions, or even controversies surrounding a moment, I add those for posterity as well. With time, moments get forgotten, or antis try to distort things (which is incredibly sad). I’m determined to do my best to archive Taekook interactions for preservation. Anything that delves into theory will always be disclaimed as such. I’ve done my best to make the platforms I use safe and positive spaces for me to support and love Taekook. My anxiety dictates firm boundaries and I’m determined to keep them. I’m not interested in anyone’s background noise, negativity or insecurity. All of that is irrelevant. I am here for Taehyung/ Jungkook / Taekook. I think most who follow me know but I’m studying Japanese. It seems to help my mind when I get too anxious, though it’s a very hard language to learn (とてもむずかしいよ😭). Some pieces in the blog have Japanese translations I worked hard on. I’m quite proud of those because it shows my progress in my personal life, while also giving me a means to verify a Japanese subtitled Taekook interaction, or J ARMY sighting, without the need for translators (I still have so many years to go, though. I tend to panic when someone speaks the language and my mind goes blank. I’m at a third grade level with kanji which means I still tend to fall back on hiragana, which is a problem when kanji is pretty prevalent). Two links to posts I built around my studies -

We’re getting into the holidays, which is my favorite time of the year. Please remember to prioritize yourself and your mental health, and set boundaries where they’re needed. Social media is quite draining and toxic so take breaks if you need them. I’ve been fortunate to meet a lot of ARMY in person, some I consider best friends. Please believe me when I say ARMY outside of SM is a massively stark contrast to the ugliness you see when there’s anonymity behind screens. Keep that in mind and try to ignore the noise of others. And remember that real life should always comes first💜

here are 7 reasons why re-posted bc tumblr won't let me change my original post:

1 kbs news behind the scenes

being on kbs news was the moment where it really sunk in with the boys that they were famous. it was a big goddamn deal for them as shown by the shout-outs to their parents. and tae turned to jk for physical reassurance on the way to the studio. after, as they were exiting the building, tk started getting clingy before springing apart when they realized the cameras were still on them.

2 their encyclopedic knowledge of each other

not only do they know minute details about each other, they're more than willing to share with the class. it's adorable how they call each other out on things like tae telling everyone he's allergic to beans (he's not, claims jk in a run ep, he just doesn't want to eat them), or tae broadcasting jk's love of white wine (dykm). tae also knows how jk likes his drinks and helps him top his drink off without even looking (fdp 2022). jk takes tae's steak off his plate to cut it up (fdp 2022). what's even cuter is that many times no one even asks but they volunteer information like when they share about the fortune teller or their playing dress up on a trip (v.lives).

3 the amount of care that jk takes when it comes to tae

jk's said that he gives up on things easily but when he really wants to do something he gives it his all. look at the time he took and the amount of care over the snow globe he made for tae (in one of the winter packages). when he cooked for tae in one of the cutest its2 moments, his own version looked delicious but lackluster compared to the feast he whipped up for tae.

4 tae's hands

tae has the habit of reaching forward when he's making a point he's interested in. watch the way he reaches in jk's direction with his palms facing down when he mentions jk in a group conversation. or the way he pulls at jk's arms (3J+tae vlive in ptd lv when jk tries to leave to shower, gda 2020, proof live onstage at kbs music show).

5 the perilla leaf argument and food

in which tk argue that there's no f-ing way they'd be ok with their partner helping a friend with the perilla leaf. chopsticks are an extension of the self and chopsticks touching denotes closeness.

yet jk has fed tae with his own chopsticks many times. tae has literally eaten food that was halfway to jk's mouth (the documentary premiere). tae has stuck his fingers in jk's mouth while feeding him (its1).

more on the topic of food. tae's love language revolves around food. it's something he's learned from his mother (who packed sandwiches for everyone in its1) and he's given kimchi to his wooga friends. while waiting for the 2021 grammys announcement, tae is visibly peeved when jk asks for food. not because he doesn't want to share but the tone is more "babe, i asked you! and you said no but now you're hungry". note that he gives jk food (and even feeds him) when jk acts cute for him. in its2, they spend almost all the food scenes next to each other.

6 they're each other's biggest fans

tae waxes lyrical (pun intended) about jk's music. his tone is gentle in the recording he makes for jk in the 2020 winter package where he tells jk he thinks jjk is the best singer in korea. note that he thought this recording was going to be private.

tae takes pride in being one of the first/only people to listen to jk's music. he's championed stay, talked about listening to my you a month before it was released, and praised your eyes tell over the song he was supposed to be promoting.

normally reticent jk goes on and on about how hot he thinks tae is. and let's not forget the number of times he's been caught giving tae the up and down. instances that come to mind: maknae vlive in ptd la, my universe btb, dynamite mv making clip).

7 physical touch

how many bros or friends do you know who touch each other's inner thighs for an extended period? or cuddle and nap wrapped up together?

there are too many instances to count where they've lounged on each other (its1, festa dinner party 2022, and gda 2020 for a small sample). they're touchy on camera and in front of a stadium full of people (dope and dna in ptd lv) or when they think they're off camera like when they're reviewing pictures. the way jk ran his hand along tae's back and then patted his ass in the proof live premiere. they get visibly pouty when asked to step away from each other.

the mvp: the styles concert video jh took where jk pulls tae's hand over his heart.

there's an abundance of moments. i'm sure other people have their own favorites, this is just a shortlist that comes to mind.

7 Dating Tips for Those Over 50

If you are over 50 and giving some thought to finding that someone special, the idea of dating might be daunting. But, it is never too late in life to find love.

There are an endless number of women and men who’ve discovered happiness with someone new in middle age or later. Who knows? You might become one of them!

During any point in life, it is great to have somebody you can cozy up with on a cold winter night, to share dinner with, or have by our side while on vacation. Thankfully, there’s an abundance of single males and females over 50 hoping to find a good companion. Among these singles is the right person for you — therefore, read further for my over 50s dating tips!

1. Check out an over 50 dating website

Online dating is a great way to meet new folks. An increasing number of couples are forming lasting bonds after meeting online. It isn’t just millennials — a 2021 survey discovered that around 1/3 of senior citizens who’d dated during the past five years had actually used a dating app. There’s a plethora of free dating websites.

2. Pick up a hobby

Later on in life is the ideal time to pick up a new hobby. Learning something new may increase your mental wellbeing and is related to a decreased risk of dementia.

If you are considering dating over the age of 50, trying a new activity is a thrilling way to connect with others in a relaxed manner. Common hobbies adopted by mature individuals include choirs, book groups, and cooking classes. Some folks opt to play a new musical instrument or learn a different language.

The kind of hobby you choose is completely up to you; however, it is a great idea to figure out something that is age appropriate with a social component that’ll place you in contact with a lot of other people.

3. Freshen up your wardrobe

Why not consider donating clothing you have not used in years to a thrift shop? It’ll free up room in your closet for some quality outfits like a cashmere jumper, some nice jeans, or a smart coat.

4. Open up to friends and family

Having a close support system of family and friends is important if you are thinking about pursuing a romantic, healthy relationship.

If you are finding it challenging to tell your kids that you are dating over 50, remember that being truthful right from the start will always be the best policy.

5. Start to exercise

One other tip for dating over 50 is consistent exercise, which may benefit your mental wellbeing and physical health. There are an abundance of activities and classes appropriate for those over 50, including walking, swimming, and yoga.

Exercise is notorious for lifting your mood, giving you energy and boosting your self-esteem, not to mention improving sexual performance. Furthermore, activity clubs and exercise classes are a good way to meet like-minded individuals.

6. Go on vacation by yourself

Those over 50 usually have more financial stability than younger generations, and for that reason, typically spend more when traveling. Use that to your advantage. Traveling by yourself might lead to thrilling chance encounters, as you explore parts of the world you have always visualized visiting.

In the latter stage of life, you have all of the experience needed to put together the type of trip that is suitable for you. You will have the ability to explore at your own pace, plan your own itinerary, and connect with others you may never have met if you’d been traveling with other people.

A lot of tour operators offer vacation packages especially for solo travelers, which allows you to join a group who’ve all booked their trip by themselves. Some businesses even establish a minimum age of 50; therefore, you know you’ll be traveling with others of a similar age, and who knows where that might lead?

7. Start to say “yes” more often

All of the tips I have offered thus far might be summed up into one phrase: become more adventurous!

If you have the desire to encounter a new relationship, you will need to come out of your comfort zone. And the best way to do so includes getting into the habit of repeating the word “yes” to opportunities that come along.

Nomad MagSafe Compatible Charger Hannah’s new phone going to USB-C this year meant I could finally upgrade our old docks on the bedroom side tables. These have the benefit of matching our bedframe and look great. I’m a big fan of standby mode during the night and love how these look. MIIR Drinkware We have multiple products from Miir and they’re all fantastic. Vinturi Wine Aerator I’m not saying I can tell the difference when it’s used, but all my wine nerd friends swear by it. Band Hoodies During the winter I spend almost every day in Mack Weldon sweatpants and a band hoodie. Under $100 Grovemade: Desk Accessories From their planters (I have two on my desk) to various desk accessories, I love everything they make. Website Subscriptions These days there are a bunch of websites and newsletters that have membership programs. The holidays are a great time to gift one of these memberships to a friend or family member, and trust me, as someone that runs one, it goes a long way to helping your favorite website as well. Some of the websites I recommend checking out their membership packages include: MacStories, Relay.fm, SixColors, Popular.info, Last.fm, and ATP. Over $100 Bearaby Weighted Blankets Hannah asked for one for her birthday this year and has given it rave reviews. On Running Waterproof Shoes My go-to shoe for navigating the city during the fall/winter season. I love how easily they slip on, and the waterproofing is greatly appreciated in Oregon. I still think streaming services are a great yearly gift. Apple Music, Disney+, or one of the services you don’t have is a great way to gift a year of entertainment. Greta Thunberg Gets (Even More) Radical: 'There Is No Going Back to Normal'

She's not American, she was born in Sweden. History tells during world war 2 Sweden swayed back and forth throughout the war and offered assistance to both sides of the conflict, meaning they also helped the Nazi. Before you listen to her think about that!

Nineteen-year-old climate activist Greta Thunberg is at it again, scolding world leaders, predicting imminent doom for the planet and mankind, and shaming people who use too much energy. This time, however, she’s taking a more radical tone, calling for fundamental change in the way humans lead our lives.

On Sunday, while promoting her new tome, “The Climate Book,” a collection of essays by over 100 climate experts at the London Literature Festival at the Southbank Centre, she said:

My name is Greta Thunberg, I’m a climate activist from Sweden and I want to use my platform to share the truth about the climate crisis, to tell the full story. …I created the Climate Book. With over 100 contributors, it aims to tell the full story of the crisis we face. And I started it about two years ago when we were in the beginning of the pandemic, our societies were undergoing massive changes with the purpose of keeping people safe. At that time, many people were already talking about going [makes quotation marks with her fingers] “back to normal.” But we are never going back to normal again.

Oh great. I kind of liked the way things were before the pandemic, but maybe that’s just me. She continued:

Because “normal” was already a crisis. What we refer to as normal is an extreme system built on the exploitation of people and planets. It is a system defined by colonialism, imperialism, oppression, and genocide by the so-called Global North to accumulate wealth that still shapes our current world order.

Wait, I thought this was a speech about climate change, not a massive condemnation of the entire history of mankind and capitalism.

She also says the quiet part out loud about the world’s COVID response: it wasn’t about safety at all, it was about creating a New World Order:

During the Covid-19 pandemic, governments around the world launched unprecedented financial rescue packages. These recovery plans were described as huge opportunities to set humanity on a brand-new course for a more sustainable economic paradigm. They were called “our last change to avert a climate disaster,” as the enormous size of the investments would make it impossible for us to undo the consequences in the future.

This is terrifying stuff. She’s saying the pandemic relief funds had nothing to do with the virus at all, they were thinly-disguised Green New Deal policies. Do you think jimin is going to leave bts ? Because he's the only member who didn't update at all. He posted 2 photos for sake of it and dipped. His friends and his supposed bf is active, posting pics and commenting on each others post. While he's nowhere to be found. Most probably he was not in the fish date others did also. I think he's still in busan. Just because some members planned to meet up doesn't means vacation is over. No confirmation from hybe on their vacation being over. He may have said how he want to be with them for long time, but the hate he's getting is unbearable and any human just want to exclude themselves from the main cause of the hate train.

My answer is an outright NO.

JM is not leaving BTS. JM has been silent in the past and for longer periods than 2 and a half weeks (last posting on IG Jan 8). in 2021 there were way longer periods we didn't hear from JM. So, yes, we do want to hear from him, and it's understandable, we miss him very much, but from 2 and a half weeks him not posting to "he's leaving BTS", well the leap is way too big.

Now, to what you called "the fish date" (lol anon). I believe they were all there. And I stand by my statement that JM was there and could be heard singing on JK's clip from that day. Maybe we didn't see him, but I do believe he was there, as were the rest of them.

It wasn't a date, it was a work day for them. The info was that this was going down in a factory rented by BH for the day/s to film something. Perhaps there is good reason the boys did not show themselves in the clips they posted...food for thought (lol - food - fish - well heck sometimes I'm not that funny, deal with it).

We also got four of them - RM, Hobi, Jin and Tae a couple of days later hanging around, waiting around for something perhaps? Did not look like a social gathering, but yet again work related. The other three - Suga, JK and JM were missing from that gathering, perhaps off to do something else on their schedule.

My crazed mind went to 'winter package' filming at first, but it would be pretty late to be filming that, so I have no idea what they were doing, why the were split up, but I have no doubt in my mind that it's about work.

So, to sum it up: JM is NOT leaving BTS. JM has had dryer spells than 2 and a half weeks. Yes we all miss him, yes goddamn it, we need him to post something already, but him not posting means absolutely nothing as to his state of mind or state of work.

BH doesn't have to come out with a statement: "vacation over". They didn't do that in 2019 either. The boys just go back to work when they do and the content just shows up when it does.

I'll give you one better - not saying they're back at work kind of gives them some kind of freedom too, to keep what they are doing on the downlow, to create anticipation for what's to come. I mean, look at us here, all these discussions: Where are they, what are they doing, when are they coming back already and so forth.

Winter Package 2021 Part 2

My thoughts and commentary as I watch Winter Package 2021 part 2! There is only the one making DVD in this package (107 minutes long). The other part of this was just the photobook and extra merch. Reminder that these are just my thoughts, it's not very organized. You get me typing it out as I go like I'm reacting to a friend. Somewhat like a bullet point format in a way. Love these packages! You can read Part 1 here. Part 2 will cover the end of Day 2 and day 3 of this trip.

Day 2 diaries of the day is where I'll start this post. Which is where i left off post 1. Namjin did theirs together. Jin talked about the beauty of the mountains and the river he saw. Namjoon talked about how relaxing and wonderful yoga was. Namjins cute high-five at the end. Jikook did theirs together too. Their whole thing.... was just.... so soft. The tones of voices. Jimin asking JK for praise on his drawing and saying the thing he did well today was protecting Jungkookie. Jimin helping JK with his phrasing on his diary about enjoying the beer tasting. Lol their soft little laughs the whole time. Their tone of voice and low key flirting when Jimin asked for help up and JK teasing him. Lol it's always them!! Tae talked about loving being in the snow even though it was cold. Yoongi talked about enjoying his time at the brewery and recommended going there for ARMY too. Hobi talked about loving both the ski slopes and ziplining today.

And officially ending the day off with some more self cams before bed! Jin talked about how much he actually enjoyed ziplining and yoga! How much fun he had! Tae shares about how he is ending his day with snacks and a movie in his hotel room. That he had a good time with the members doing yoga and wishes army a happy new year. Jimin talked about how tired he was, but how happy he was having Suga back with the group for filming. How everyone during filming were a lot more excitable and happy now that he was back with them 😭🥺 and how happy he was getting to just talk beer with Suga. Lol he also says he is a little tipsy from just drinking all the beer. 😂 He explains again his exhaustion and says goodnight. And he did his whole little vlog and getting ready go sleep while wearing the sweater that JK had been wearing the entire day. 🥺🥺🥺 JK starts his vlog with the cutest fluffy hair and brushing his teeth. Also totally missing his sweater and only wearing the white shirt we saw underneath it. Lol and we basically just watch JK brush his teeth and he says he had a good time today. 😂 Post over Jimin wearing JKs sweater here:

Day 3 kicks off with a JK self cam for apologizing for falling asleep instead of finishing his self cam last night. Lol Jhope calls Jikook over from where they were congregating with staff to start the shoot snd JK just complains about wanting a bathroom. Lol with Hobi replying the whole place is a bathroom 😭😂 The third shoot takes place at a sheep ranch!3J playing soccer together during the break from their indivual shoots before their unit one! They were so cold but all laughing so much!

Tae's solo shoot with the sheep in the background might be my favorite from this day though too. So pretty! TaeJin trying to hide behind bales of hay to shelter from the wind while waiting for their turn to shoot. Lol everyone freezing their butts off! Lol both minimoni fascinated by all the wind turbines. And Tae trying to help Hobi by warming up his ears with his hands for him. And Hobi singing his thanks to Tae with "where's my angelllll....." precious babies. Tae trying to hide behind JK from the wind. Who hides behind Jin. Who hides behind Namjoon. Who wasn't as amused as the other 3 by it all 😂🤣

They then move inside a lodge for the next photoshoot and they have Polaroids everywhere from the LAST winter package. Which is so cute. Where they did units of taegimin and hopekooknamjin. JK was so cuddly in those unit shoots please 😭 and their last shoot of the day looked so cozy and cuddly with all of them. Really so cute.

They all then went out for a nice dinner together too. Namjin cute playful bickering. Maknae line all very focused on eating. Lol jikook next to each other at dinner again! Back to the diaries at the end of Day 3, vmin do theirs together. Tae wrote about how it was very cloudy and windy and the sheep. Jimin wrote about the turbines and that he got a lot of sleep. Suga wrote about how windy and cold it was. Hopekook did theirs together. JK wrote about how he loved winter and how good dinner was. Hobi wrote about how well the shoot went and the turbines. Namjin did theirs together too. Jin too talked about the turbines and how windy it was. Lol Namjoon talked about how he basically shot a movie with the members today and that he would like to see the ranch when it was less cold out. 😂

They finish up day 3 and the DVD by all gathering again, in the same seats as before. They each took turns reading from their diaries and leaving comments and a stamp on the person's next to theirs pages. Namjoon accidentally stamped his own hand instead of the page 🤣 Tae just feeling the need to touch as his reads his entry and kept trying to rub Jimins shoulder as Jimin kept shrugging him off. Lol

They then also got presents from the staff. Which were tinytan dolls but with their voice messages to each other. So they all got to then listen to the letters/messages they wrote to each other. Lol and you can tell by some of these reactions they weren't expecting for these to be listened to out loud or have to listen to themselves read it back 😂 They literally said they didn't know they'd have to listen to it out loud. All the cringing! "This feels like a public execution!" Lmfao So whichever doll they received, is the person who wrote the message for them.

I'm just going to copy translations of all the messages down here too, because they are incredibly sweet.

First was Jin to Suga:

"I think you were really hard on music. I envy you. I'm so proud that you're in our team. Not just me, but all of us feel very proud of you. We all think you're really cool. When you kept saying you were a genius as a joke, I didn't really know if you were a genius. But now I think you might really be a genius. You always motivate me to work and try harder. You're an amazing person. Please make a lot of good music for our ARMY and for us. Fighting!"

I love how geniune this was. He really emphasized how important he was to all of them and their team and how proud he is of who Yoongi is.

Next was Tae to Jungkook:

"To Jungkook who loves music. Thank you for donating your amazing talent to BTS and not anywhere else. We were able to come this far thanks to you. I think you are the most talented person I've ever seen. So I hope you can make good music, good songs and good performances as Jungkook of BTS and Jeon Jungkook. Great Job."

Again, so beautifully geniune! I also really love how he made sure to bring up both the two sides of the BTS performer and the individual. This is something that JK mentioning struggling with in the past as well as perhaps a call out to the future solo work they all knew would be coming. It's very caring.

Next was JK to Namjoon:

"Namjoonie hyung, nice to see you. There were many companies who fell in love with you but thanks for choosing Big Hit (at this point JK collapsed against the wall in embarrassment lol) (Some fans translated this first part as "firstly there were many companies, but i joined big hit after I saw and fell for Namjoonie hyung" so.... both would make sense, but I don't speak Korean. If someone wants wants verify this for me, wonderful.) If we always have high expectations, we could be disappointed. But you are always humane and cool and you're like the heart of BTS. I don't think we would've been able to come this far if we didn't have you for the last 7 years. Should there be places with you as the leader, that's where I want to be. You worked really hard, and let's work hard together in the future."

Jungkook is always so geniune and speaks so purely from his heart. You can tell that his namjoon hyung is someone he looks up to and admires ALOT. It's so beautiful to see that type of role model in real life while also being close friends. Their relationship is so sweet and caring. They take wonderful care of each other and the respect is so high valued.

Namjoon to Jin:

"Hi Jin hyung. I always see you being open minded and working hard as the oldest. You asked me for advice saying you wanted to give ARMY a song as a gift on your birthday. Hearing you say that, I realized that you are trying really hard to make your own song with your own style. And I felt really grateful. I get motivated and inspired by seeing you always working hard even in your spare time. Please keep contributing with your good style, melodies and lyrics. Fighting always. I love you."

Everyone collapsed to the floor hearing the I love you. Lol so dramatic and for what! This clearly meant a lot to Jin too. Such a geniune message of love and support.

J-Hope to Jimin:

"Jimin, It's Hobi hyung. As a person who knows how big your passion towards music is, I'm looking forward to what you'll do in the future. When I listen to the songs you've released and worked on so far, there's a lot for me to learn from. And you're the one who made me realize what the outcome of hardwork looks like. So I think there's so much I need to learn from you. I'm looking forward to the boundless musical side of you that you'll show us in the future. Please keep making lots of good music and let's work on a song together when we get the chance. I'll always cheer you on. Let's never get hurt and stay healthy while making music. I'll look forward to your work in the future. Let's get it!"

Their relationship is so supportive and beautiful honestly. All the encouragement and positive feedback and recognition given was really sweet and I'm sure meant so much

Jimin to Tae:

"Dear Taehyung whose been making music for 7 years. I personally think your voice is very charming. It's a unique deep tone that no one can copy. It's very charming. And it's a voice that can show your musical style well. Back when we first started we were just a group of friends who liked listening to music. But now when I listen to your music it's so cool and well made. When I see you, I think that I want to do well like you. And I want to tell you that I always learn from you. (Tae interrupted here to say, Jimin-ah you are already doing great!) I hope that you keep making more music that comforts the fans and many other people."

Everyone teased Jimin a bit for not saying goodbye. Lol but Tae said he would listen to it again when he got home. It's clear the message meant a lot to him and was full of such geniune support and compliments and love. Jimin also adding an I love you to Tae in person. 🥺

Suga to J-Hope:

"Dear Jhope who continued making music for 7 years. I'll give you a great job stamp. As you started making music after we debuted, I'm sure there were things you were worried about. I'm very proud of you for overcoming those fears and continuing to make good music. There are more days ahead of us then behind us, so I hope you keep making songs like you are doing now. I'm a huge fan of Jhope's music so i hope you keep making more cool and passionate music like you are doing now. Jhooopppeee"

It's clear this message also meant a lot to Hobi, getting that recognition and encouragement from a hyung he has learned and grown with so much. The support!! It's amazing.

I think part of what made these messages so geniune and special were that one, they had no idea anyone but the person receiving it would listen to it. Therefore it probably made it easier to be more sincere and open in these letters and be very geniune with their messages of love and support for their members. And two, when you look back at these letters, knowing that at this point, they knew their chapter 2 was coming. They were giving these messages of support for all their future solo work they knew would be coming and this new chapter. They were hyping each other up and encouraging each other as solo artists that they knew would be coming in a year or so. As well as letting each other know that they weren't going anywhere and would always be there for each other. It's very emotional honestly!!

Winter Package ends with Tae showing off one of the yoga moves they learned. And Jikook IMMEDIATELY jumping up to try it themselves right away. Lol and some cute goodbyes. Plus a bonus clip from 201231! During the New Years Eve Live concert they did, they got a delivery and everyone was excited to see the beer that yoonminkook made! They left to sit for another week and then all enjoyed the beer together. Which feels like a nice way to end this DVD honestly. So wholesome!

unfortunately in my case, i reblog and sr far too often that i exceed a lot in each month. so seeking out “most popular” is very difficult for me and i refuse to do it. however, i managed to take the time and pick random favorites in each month to just briefly talk about them.

one thing i noticed as i scavenged throughout my archive is that... i hadn’t realized how many works i actually have done. which is quite a lot! im surprised at myself for even committing so much time into content making, but i enjoy doing it. it’s something that currently makes me very happy even when this site sometimes makes me very frustrated. personally, i don’t think of my work as anything better than others. i just really enjoy creating. i know i offer a little bit of everything when it comes to content, and i fully appreciate all of the likes, reblogs, and follows that come because of it. i don’t think i ever expected to be here, indulging myself with bts content and giving out my own twist of things... but here i am!

i’m most grateful for just the overall community of bts, who i’ve had the honor of getting to meet and/or admire. gained friendships with mutual interests, shared works and thoughts over creating, and just the amazing support the majority of this community (and fandom) offers! it’s honestly closer than anything i have every been apart of (fan-wise) and that is quite special to me.

BBC GOGO Jimin Focus - 1.2k // this gifset honestly surprised me because i wasn’t able to get great quality for the frames. i really enjoy this song and i still remember how evil jimin was making a fun song into something... so deadly in the matter of his first verse.

Comedy King Taehyung on BTS RUN Tennis - 1.2k // i remember how annoying coloring this gifset was because of all the greens. but the scene was hilarious -- still is imo! how did he of all people manage to get the ball stuck between the racket? please lol

Winter Package 2021 Taehyung looking as boyfriend as ever - 1.5k // the winter package 2021 content is filled with so many heart warming moments. this gifset hopefully captured the soft love that radiated from mr. taehyung. he’s just so fluffy here too.

Black Ravens Fic - 1.1k // listen, i don’t think i need to even comment on this fic. it was an idea that has been eating at the back of my mind for some time and it eventually came out into words. to see so many supportive friends fall for this fic actually has made me so happy. i honestly never expected to have the reactions i gained from putting this fic out into the world.

The Wings Tour: The Final behind the scenes Hobi - 482 // i really enjoyed this gifset and the colors. hobi has such pretty orangey hair and the arrows around him just look pretty. i wish i was able to gain more love for this gifset but it’s ok! hobi is loved by the many millions in the world!

Maknae Line Airplane pt 2 gifset - 470 // this one actually sort of upset me. i’ve been vocal to a few friends about this gifset because of a certain situation in the past. i’ve moved on from it, accept the fate of it not getting the attention it deserves. but this gifset is still very pretty to me and i worked hard on it. so therefore it is my favorite post i did in june!

Remake One of your Old Gifsets | Tony Montana - 946 // this was actually a game where i needed to tag other giffers. i didn’t realize that it was going to blow up how it did, but im grateful for it! i really enjoy tony montana yoongi, his song and fit. when i remade this gifset i was so stunned with my growth from before to after. and even now, my giffing tactics have changed! (hopefully better)

Gifwar | Taekook edition - 1.2k // over time i started doing a little gifwar of taekook content with @/jeonjcngkook. it’s hilarious to do and always fun to gif a random piece of content. ofc i adore this set so much because of grammys 2020 taehyung and that blasted shirt!!! i love grammys 2020 tae so much that it’s the reason for my url to be my url! :D

Red Hair Taehyung - 962 // golly. i was inspired by @/jiminslight and their pink jimin gifset; so much that i made a red hair gifset of tae. i love how it came out and i started discovering that making larger gifsets are 1) quite hard but 2) very enjoyable!

PTD on stage VMINKOOK - 1.5k // i just very much like this set. i think they performed wonderfully even though it was still an online concert, im sure they were missing ARMY so much.

Blonde Taehyung - 992 // this was another set i had made @/kimtaegis because i felt like i failed misribly on the first gifset. i wanted to make it up to her. so as a surprise, i created this one in hopes to be better! also this was a time where i tried making the gifs a little bit more darker than i usually go and it turned out pretty imo!

Boyfriend Vibes Yoongi - 1.4k // honestly, have no clue how so many people enjoyed this gifset so fast. when i saw this scenes in the behind the scenes content i was like “oh wow, i need to gif yoongi and look at him right here! he’s so cool!” and just went ahead and giffed it. i really enjoy seeing the love people have to all the members, but especially seeing the love for mr. min. <3

“Darling, can you go over to the next aisle and get a couple boxes of pasta?”

Ransom nods, even though you’re too engrossed in looking at the differences between chickpea-based and gluten-based pasta.

His son is awake, wide eyes looking around at brightly colored food packages and fluorescent lights with a pacifier in his mouth. From what Ransom recalls of tales from when he was a baby, Harlan Jr. is more like you. Quietly observing, not kicking up too much of a fuss.

Pinching the baby’s nose gently and coaxing a small giggle out of him, Ransom ventures over to the next aisle to find the pasta you like.

A sharp gasp and an obnoxious “oh my God,” draws his attention. When he looks up and finds the source of the voice, his stomach gurgles with dread and annoyance.

“All the times I’ve been here, I’ve never seen you,” she says. “What are you up to? Disappointing more girls in bed?”

Ransom weighs his options in his head. He could dig low, reminding her of all the times she was actually begging for him, or he could take the high ground, grab the pasta, and ignore her.

He does the latter, though makes the mistake of using his left hand to do so.

“Is that a wedding band?” she scoffs.

“Yeah, it is--”

“Oh, Ransom, don’t get that one, we want the bigger noodles.”

Shutting his eyes, Ransom shouts all the swear words he can think of in his mind. This is such bad timing!

“No fucking way,” Rebecca--or is it Veronica?--scoffs.

“Hi,” Ransom sees you give a sickeningly sweet smile and he wants to disappear into the shelves. “I’m sorry, I don’t recall ever meeting you.”

“I’m Amanda.”

Wow. Completely different name than the ones his mind was supplying.

“Your husband and I know each other pretty well.”

He can see the gears turning in your head, analyzing the situation.

“Quite frankly, I’m not surprised about the little one. I’m sure he did the same thing to you as he did to me, just finished and decided he was done without fully getting the job done!”

You’re visibly taken aback. “I’m sorry?”

“Oh, we just hooked up casually like, two years ago? I can’t really remember, it was during Christmas though. Hadn’t heard from him in a while and he mentioned being lonely and I figured ‘Why not?’”

“Two years ago?” you echo, looking at her, then at Ransom.

“It was casual, I left right after,” he points out,

“Oh, were you two together then? I’m so sorry--”

“You know what, Veronica, just get your stupid pasta or rice or whatever the fuck you’re here for and leave me and my wife in peace! Don’t you have better shit to do?!”

“It’s Amanda.”

“I don’t care.”

Rolling her eyes, she leaves, turning on her heel and exiting the aisle.

Ransom turns back to you and doesn’t like the thoughtful look on your face. You don’t look at him or Harlan, just at the contents in your cart.

“Hey, don’t let whatever she said get to you. You know I love you,” he reaches for you, fingertip just grazing your cheek and you cringe away from him.

“Just put the pasta in the cart and let’s go.”

You’ve snapped at him before to remind him to stop completely at intersections or double check the temperature of Harlan’s bottle. You’ve never snapped at him that way, in irritation as if you can’t stand him.

He recoils, drawing his touch away from you. “Well, just...let me get the right one.”

“Ransom,” you deadpan, “I wanna go home. Just put the pasta in the cart and let’s. go.”

He does as you say, carefully placing the boxes atop the other items.

You don’t speak to him as you check out and sit in the backseat with Harlan to make sure he’s okay as he drives the three of you home. His little eyelids drop closed, completely calm despite the palpable tension between the two of you.

Once at home, Ransom takes care of the groceries while you bring Harlan upstairs to his crib so he can continue to sleep. Just as you get him settled, you hear your husband pipe up.

“So, can we talk about what happened at the grocery store?”

You sigh, straightening up. You cross your arms as you turn to face him. “When was the last time you saw her?”

“When you were on winter break a few months after you had just moved in.”

You bite the inside of your cheek, a whirlpool of emotions spinning around in your chest.

You’re angry and hurt, but you don’t know why. The two of you were just starting your sugar arrangement and it wasn’t anything deeper than that. There weren’t any feelings on your end until the following spring.

“It wasn’t anything, it was just some hook up. She was just being a bitch because I left--”

“I don’t want to hear about it,” you interrupt him.

You had long reconciled Ransom’s past and never held it against him. But you just cannot pin the exact reason why this revelation bothers you.

“Look, I’m still figuring out things going on in my head. And I don’t really...I don’t really want to see you right now.”

“I don’t understand why this is such a big deal,” he argues, “We weren’t anything. We only became a thing in July.”

“Really?” you wonder. You weren’t going to bring this up, but it feels fair in order to get him to understand your perspective. “I had a crush on someone from my cohort.” You watch his expression shift from annoyed to surprised. “I kissed him once. In November, after I moved in with you. But it didn’t work out because I was living with you, so we decided to not do anything about it.”

You can see the visible tinge of red on his neck. “Are you saying that just to get at me?”

“It’s the truth,” you say. “Does it bother you?”

You can see him setting his jaw as he takes in the information.

“But we weren’t anything, right?” you remind him of the words he spoke just minutes before.

Ransom doesn’t say anything. He turns away and walks down the hall. You hear him going down the stairs and then the door to his office slams.

You check on Harlan, he’s still sound asleep. Slightly relieved, you move into your bedroom and sit on the mattress.

Ransom lets out a long-winded groan when he deletes the sentence he’s been working on for the fifty-second time in twenty minutes.

He feels odd knowing you liked someone when you were living with him, just as the seeds of his feelings were being planted. He’s taken pride in the fact that he was the only one to have you, but turns out your heart was a better prize and that wasn’t his completely.

He doesn’t doubt you love him and he’s certain he never has to worry about sharing you ever again, but it still bothers him.

He scrubs his hands over his face and rubs the back of his neck.

He remembers fights between his parents never being resolved, which resulted in their marriage slowly disintegrating into a financial arrangement than a romantic relationship.

He knows you late at night when you’re both hungry; knows you pregnant and crying over hermit crabs while watching nature documentaries; knows you between his arms and keeping him warm, making him feel safe and loved when he felt he didn’t deserve it. He doesn’t want this to turn into anything close to the example of marriage he saw growing up.

Shutting his laptop, he gets up and marches to the door. When he yanks it open, you’re standing there.

“What are you doing?”

You look caught, as if you’re somewhere you’re not supposed to be. “I...I wanted to talk. Unless you don’t want to.”

You begin to leave and he grabs your arm. “No, let’s talk.”

Stepping into the room feels reminiscent of walking into his office at the publishing house for the first time. You’re not comfortable entering this territory.

Hugging your arms around your middle, making yourself look as small as you feel, you decide to just be forward. Your words come out sheepishly, “I just...I didn’t like knowing the moment I was gone, you went out and replaced me. Even if we didn’t have an exclusive label. And, I just thought, like, I realize it doesn’t matter because we’re married. And like you said, I know you love me. But, I don’t know. Just didn’t sit right with me.”

Ransom sighs, shaking his head. “I wasn’t replacing you or anything like that. I...I saw a change in myself from just having you with me for a few months. But I thought you’d leave as soon as you got the opportunity,” he uses a large sweeping gesture as if he’s picturing you leaving all over again. “And I’d…” he hesitates, hand up by his head before his arm goes slack, “be back to my shitty normal self.”

It’s different now with the explanation, and you wish you had been in the mindset to listen to him earlier instead of hurt him.

“And I get it. Knowing you had a crush on some guy doesn’t sit right with me either. I just,” he looks up and distantly, “I wonder what he had. What made you like him but then you were fine with nothing happening and then you started liking me?”

“Neither of us were ready for a relationship at the time. We had just started and our first semester was crazy.” You take your turn to explain. “And feelings just come and go sometimes. I saw him again in February and it just...wasn’t there.”

He takes in your strikingly simpler explanation, understanding your reference to fleeting feelings that are gone almost as quickly as they appear.

“I’m sorry, Ransom. I shouldn’t have said anything about that. It was so stupid and it really didn’t mean anything--”

“Neither did Amanda.”

“I…” you trail off, not knowing what to say.

“I wasn’t being very understanding earlier when you first said it bothered you. You were just trying to get me to know your side of things.”

“Doesn’t make it right,” you counter. “I really am so sorry.”

Ransom smiles and laughs to himself. He still doesn’t know how to accept an apology. He sighs, reaching for you. “How long do you think junior will be asleep?”

“Could be an hour, maybe two,” you answer as he draws you closer with a hand around your waist.

“Think that’s plenty of time for us to make it up to each other.”

“Technically I need to make it up to you,” you correct him as you take his hand. “And I know how I want to.”

You lead him back around his desk, ushering him to sit in his chair. It’s large with dark blue velvet, providing enough room for you too and straddle his lap.

You dive for his mouth, capturing his lips in a heated kiss.

His left hand comes to cradle your jaw, keeping your lips locked onto his, while his right hand drifts down your back to cup your bottom.

You grind your core against his, smiling when you feel his hips jut up to yours. Tilting your head you give a tentative lick into his mouth. He opens up, bringing his tongue in to play with yours.

It reminds you of how it was when it started; being shy and letting him take the lead. You haven’t fallen into this cloudy headspace in a long time, but it feels so good that when you pull back and gasp the word “daddy,” it feels so natural.

Ransom, on the other hand, is taken aback. He’s gotten used to you calling him “darling” or other terms of endearment. Hearing you call him that awakens something that had long gone into hibernation; and he wasn’t sure if it would ever see the light of day again.

But like you, he slips into the space, creating a firm grip on your ass as a smirk appears on his face.

“Wanna call me ‘daddy,’ baby? Hm?” he taunts. Your eyes are wide and doey, feigning innocence when he knows you’re far from it now. “Well, guess we can do that. We’ll make up for that night I wasted on someone else.”

He watches your brows furrow and eyes squint in anger. Your hands slide into his hair, fingers tightening in the tresses. It creates a pull on his scalp, something he enjoys. “You’re mine, daddy,” you whisper just before your lips are on his again, kissing him harder than before, certain to bruise.

You pull away and lean down to nip at his neck, hands moving to the waistband of his pants. You pop the button and undo the zipper unceremoniously.

You remove yourself from his lap only to kneel between his legs on the carpet, pulling his jeans down to his knees. His boxers are quick to follow, revealing his hardening member. You grasp it, giving it a few squeezes and tugs the way you know he likes, watching his head loll back against the back of his chair.

“This is mine, too,” you say.

“Yeah?” he pants, looking down at you. A hand grazes through your hair, stopping at the back of your head. “My cock only belongs to you?”

You nod, working him with more determination.

“Then take it, baby.”

You practically lunge for it, leaning forward to take him into your mouth, lips spreading to accommodate his girth.

You’re satisfied with the sound Ransom makes, something between pained and blissful. He eggs you on, gathering your hair into a ponytail secured with his hand as he guides you to take more and withdraw in rhythm.

You want him to finish in your mouth, but he pulls you off him and makes to lift you back onto his lap. You stand, already shimmying out of your bottoms.

Straddling him again, you focus your attention down to poise yourself just above the head of him.

He takes your chin between his thumb and forefinger and makes you look at him before crashing his lips on yours once more.

“Take what’s yours, baby. It’ll always be yours,” he whispers.

You sink down, crying out at the feeling of him within you. The doctor had just given you the green light to resume sex as normal after Harlan’s birth weeks ago, but you haven’t been able to find a lot of time to tangle with each other without your baby or Ransom’s book needing attention.

Ransom appears to have an equally hazy feeling, looking at you with heavy-lidded eyes. You straighten up slightly until just the tip of him is in and lower yourself again.

It’s so much for the both of you that his hands come to your waist and he guides your pace. “Slow,” he instructs you.

You obey, finding a steady pattern as you build a climax for the both of you. Coaxing your hips the slightest bit forward, Ransom sinks all the way to reach that spot within you that makes you see stars.

“Like that, baby?” he taunts you again, moving your hips up and down his length. “Tell daddy.”

“Yes,” you gasp, “Just like that, daddy.”

He works you until you’re nearing your end, tightening and pulsing around him to bring on his orgasm as well. Just as you’re about to fall over the edge, he taps below your eyes, a silent request for you to look at him.

Your eyes meet his and he verbalizes exactly what he’s thinking. “I’m yours,” he pants, “I’m yours, my baby, my sunshine.” You fall forward and kiss him, letting him swallow your moans and whines. “Come for me, let me show you.”

Your body weakens in his grasp, leaning onto him for support. Your movements falter and he makes up for them, jutting his hips up until he’s finishing within you.

You gasp at the warmth that blooms in your stomach, feeling like gravity is failing but it’s okay; Ransom’s holding onto you, keeping you grounded.

He holds you tightly as you breathe heavily, trying to recover your strength. You sigh and your arms wrap around his shoulders. You hear him chuckle and lean back.

“We should’ve thought this through better,” he smiles, “We gotta get upstairs and clean up.”

You moan your disappointment. “M’tired. Can’t we just stay here a bit?”

Moving your hair out of your face, he kisses your exposed forehead. “Okay, sunshine,” he agrees. “Just a few minutes.”

technically this is my second favorite because my actual favorite also got the most notes so see that one below, but this set idea was a close second because it was so random. the idea popped into my head while watching this dvd and i thought the way they were turning towards the camera gave off cheesy 90s sitcom intro energy, so i ended up downloading the full house font and this set came to be. i also did a ton of selective color correcting to get completely rid of the bright purple color of the screen behind them, so i’m still pretty proud of this! i absolutely did not expect the reaction it got at all! i even posted a video version with the theme song for the full effect lmfao.

Early in the morning on the weekend, I push a cardboard box into Victor’s living room, straightening up and heaving a sigh.

MC: I seem to have prepared too many ribbons... I'll just blow fewer balloons.

Scanning the slightly empty and spacious room, I retrieve decorations from within the cardboard box.

Victor has been busy with business trips recently. Even though I know he’d return on his birthday, I still feel a little uneasy.

In order to avert the abrupt circumstances like last year, I called him in advance to tell him about my “action plan”.

He seems to have gotten used to the festive rituals I insist upon, and has agreed to let me decorate his home.

Just as I plan to straighten up the cushions on the sofa, the doorbell suddenly rings.

MC: Who is it?

??: Hello, there’s a package for Mr Victor.

I open the door, and the deliveryman hands over a cardboard box. The logo of Loveland City’s zoo is printed on it.

MC: This is...

Deliveryman: It was sent late, I’m really sorry about it! There’s been some issues at the transfer point. It should have been sent to you at the start of the year.

A little puzzled, I nod and take the box. This seems to be the first time I’m seeing a package from the zoo.

After signing for the package, I take a picture of the box and send it to Victor.

Not long after, the phone buzzes.

Victor: Leave the box at the entrance. I’ll handle it after I’m back.

MC: Sure, but why would the zoo send you a delivery?

Victor: I adopted a panda, so the zoo sends some merchandise every year.

MC: So they actually send such things... zoo merchandise is always in limited supply, and I’ve had to rely on snatching them up whenever I visit.

Perhaps hearing the envy in my tone, Victor chuckles softly.

Victor: In that case, you can open it up and look if there’s anything you haven’t snatched up.

MC: Can I? I’ll open it on your behalf then!

With a few movements, I open the cardboard box. All sorts of animal plush toys are stored inside, with panda-related items featuring most often.

My line of sight roams the box, and I notice a small album.

There are pictures of one big and one small panda in the album. It records their everyday lives - eating bamboo, climbing trees, rolling around... it’s like a diary.

MC: Victor, there’s an album here too. There are two pandas in it. Which one did you adopt?

Victor: Both of them.

MC: You adopted two?

Victor: Mm, the big one was the one I mentioned to you before. The small one is its child.

Digesting this information, I mutter softly.

MC: I wonder who mentioned not having feelings towards animals...

Victor: Animals no, people yes. Providing help to endangered animals is a very normal thing.

MC: Only providing help?

Victor: ...what else?

MC: Nothing, I just think CEO Victor is really considerate to specially provide help to a father-son duo~

There’s a temporary silence at the other end of the line. I can almost picture Victor’s speechless expression at this moment.

A few more pages are torn from the calendar, and it’s finally Victor’s birthday.

I checked the information of his flight beforehand. Since it’s not yet time for the plane to land, I prepare to send my report to him first.

The sound of my phone vibrating enters my ears. Seeing the familiar name flashing on the screen, I pick up the call in slight confusion.

MC: Victor? You’ve already reached?

Victor: I just reached. Slightly earlier than expected.

MC: This means I'm the first person to receive your call~ I’ll just say it first - I’ve already prepared my report, and just have to tap the send button.

Victor: Looks like you have a lot of confidence in this report. Since you're done with work, head out with me in the afternoon.

I freeze for a moment. This year, Victor’s birthday happens to be on a working day. I originally planned to celebrate with him in the evening after work.

There seems to be some tiny creases at his collar that haven’t been ironed smoothly, but the angle at which the collar encases his neck looks very suitable.

Perhaps due to the rays of light falling on his shoulders, or perhaps due to the warm wind blowing in the car, the image before me feels especially warm despite it being winter.

I pull on his arm to take a look, then nod in satisfaction.

MC: Who picked this shirt? It feels as though it makes CEO Victor look especially dashing!

Victor looks at me, the corners of his lips tugging upwards.

Victor: Blowing your own trumpet.

MC: You wore it yourself. Doesn’t this prove that the choice of gift was a success?

Victor: I wonder who splayed it on the middle of the bed, only missing a note saying “Wear this today”.

MC: So do you like it or not?

Victor: Passable.

I purse my lips, pulling aside my own coat. Deliberately straightening up, I beckon him to look at the matching shirt I’m wearing.

MC: Cough cough. Is it really just “passable”?

Victor seems to be taken aback for a moment. Then, a smile quickly softens his expression.

Victor: The car isn’t warm yet. Don’t rush to remove your coat.

He reaches out to pull up the zipper. With a pause, he pulls it down slightly, stopping at the chest region.

I follow his gaze and lower my head to take a look. Like this, it just happens to reveal my shirt.

Glancing at our similar colours, I can’t help but laugh secretly in my heart.

Victor: In general, there’s an improvement in taste. A little better than what I expected.

Victor: You haven’t identified it?

MC: It’s a little difficult.

Victor points at a panda which is currently climbing a wooden pole.

Victor: That one.

MC: How can you be so certain?

Victor: It injured its leg a few months ago. During the treatment, there was a need to trim the fur around the injury. Look at its hind leg - some of its fur is newly grown.

Fixing my eyes on it, the back of the panda’s right hind leg has a small tuft of relatively shorter fur. Without a careful look, one would think it’s a normal dip.

Flipping and looking through the photos, I realise that it’s actually the case.

Just as I’m about to awe at how Victor is truly perceptive to the finest detail, I suddenly realise something.

MC: Wait, you mentioned that it’s been a few months... Have you always been keeping watch on them?

Victor: The staff will regularly provide feedback on their situation.

MC: So your e-mail isn’t filled only with reports from employees.

Victor: My life doesn’t just consist of work.

He doesn’t respond to my teasing gaze, and he continues looking at the pandas playing freely and leisurely in the garden.

Victor: Are you here to look at the pandas or me?

I respond without giving it much thought.

MC: Both!

Victor: ...

Victor shakes his head in resignation, pulling on my hand as we weave through the crowd.

Victor: There are too many people here. Let’s walk forward.

We walk and pause, following the park’s signboards. Gradually, a patch of empty land appears in my view.

A staff member is currently stacking bamboo next to tree trunks and wooden poles, as though waiting for the pandas to feast.

I tug on Victor to stop. After staying in place for a while, I see a big panda pacing over slowly.

It doesn’t seem to care about how many people are watching it. It heads towards the food, picking a comfortable position to sit down.

Flipping to the photograph of the Daddy Panda eating bamboo, I lift it up to compare it with the panda in front of me.

MC: Victor, isn’t this the panda Uncle gave to you? Its posture of leaning against the tree trunk is exactly the same as in the photo!

Victor leans down and looks over, nodding lightly.

Victor: Yes.

MC: Really? We’re so lucky to meet both of them.

Just as Victor is about to say something, the voice of a small boy suddenly drifts towards us.

Small boy: Little... Vick. Its name is Little Vick!

I’m stunned for a moment, turning my head to find the source of the voice. A small boy is being carried in the arms of his parents, reading out the name based on a nearby board.

Information regarding the pandas on duty are written on the board. Its name is found at the very top, and it’s a name I couldn’t be more familiar with.

[Note] The reason why MC finds it familiar is clearer in Chinese. Victor’s name is 李泽言 (Li Ze Yan), and the panda’s Chinese name is 言言 (Yan Yan)

Because he read the correct words, the small boy is complimented by his parents. He continues reading.

Small boy: Its a boy... and its birthday is 13 January! It’s Little Vick’s birthday today!

Turning back to look at Victor, he currently has an uncomfortable expression on his face, and he clears his throat softly.

Victor: ...my dad named it.

MC: And it happens to have the same birthday?

Victor: Mm.

I try to suppress my laughter, lowering my voice and calling out to Little Vick a few times while it’s engrossed in bamboo.

MC: Little Vick-- We’re here to see you--

Victor: [sighs] ...

MC: Little Vick-- Wishing you a happy birthday--

Victor: Childish.

Victor pretends to have a stern look his poker face, but I can still see the gradually reddening tips of his ears.

I laugh while standing in front of him, straightening my back under his reluctant gaze.

MC: On behalf of myself and Little Vick, we also wish Mr Victor a happy birthday. Don’t feel embarrassed. Your father used your name to name your favourite thing. It’s called “loving the house and its crows”.

[Note] MC uses an idiom, 爱屋及乌 ( “ai wu ji wu”), which literally translates to “love the house and the crows”. This conveys the depth of someone’s love to the point where you like everything related to that person.

Victor: Do you apply the same principle when you enthusiastically name all sorts of objects?

MC: I don’t just name everything. After all, I also “love the house and its crows”. For instance, I used to think that all pandas were very adorable... But right now, I think Little Vick is the cutest.

Only after saying all this in one breath do I feel slightly embarrassed. I hurriedly turn around, taking out my phone to take pictures of Little Vick, wanting to hide the heat on my face.

While snapping photos, I watch for Victor’s reaction. But even after a long time, there isn’t a sound from behind me, and I can’t help but turn around.

Opening the gift box, I take out the tie that I picked out, and display it from all angles.

MC: There aren’t pictures of happy faces, and it doesn’t have a strange colour. You can wear it to work!

Victor looks at me, then walks to the side of the bed and leans down.

Victor: Since a certain someone is doing her utmost to recommend it, I shall see how it looks.

MC: I’ll put it on for you!

It’s rare for Victor to be interested in my presents. I immediately climb up from the bed, flipping his collar up and fastening the tie.

This distance makes the side of his face close enough to touch. His warm breaths are on my shoulder, and I have to force myself to focus on the tie.

The CEO who wilfully lay down on the floor to settle work, and also wilfully had a light sleep in the middle of the piano tune.

He lifts his head to look at me, his teasing gaze unconcealed and bright in the light. The tie, which hasn’t been fastened properly, hangs loosely on his neck.

Without even realising it, his relaxed appearance has become something I've grown used to.

Images in my memories and the person before me gradually match up. I can’t suppress the smile creeping onto my lips, but complain about him anyway.

MC: Victor, you’re really wilful sometimes.

Victor: I learnt it from someone.

MC: ...cough cough. Back to the earlier topic! Could the elderly birthday person please assess today’s plans, and let me gain some experience.

Victor: Everything about today, whether the itinerary or the gifts - I’m very happy with them. Not just today. Every year before this as well.

MC: If you put it that way, I can’t tell how to make it even better. After all, even though it’s been so long, you’ve never directly mentioned what you like.

Victor chuckles softly.

I subconsciously loosen my grip on the blanket. He takes the blanket, leans closer to me, and bundles me in it tightly.

The irritating sound of the secondhand suddenly vanishes. In the tranquil night, only the light in the eyes of the person next to me continues flowing and glinting.

Victor: Being without any worries like you wanted - it can be prolonged a little. Also, not just today. Anytime in the future - as long as you want it, it can be done.
