Hi so I won’t push I only have 4 small questions

1) what did lord macaque and wukong do in there free time

Taylor on Fatherhood?

Answer: I mean they weren't directly quoting him in the article but it would appear that he does want kids.

From the article: "Kitsch wants kids of his own. He came close, a long time ago. “It wouldn’t have been great,” he says. For the relationship—especially for the career. “You shut down and start doing shit for money,” he says."

I don't know that it's ever been disputed that he wanted kids other than some off-hand comment from a translated interview he did right when Shadowplay started airing overseas. He was asked what was next for him personally and he just kind of threw out that he didn't need a family right now all he needed was his motorcycle and he was happy. In hindsight I'm not sure he may not have been going through a breakup around that time. It was only a few short months later that he sold his house in Austin and moved. But coming close to being a father I would assume means that he was maybe at one time close to going down the road of marriage/kids, which, if you follow him closely you know he's been with someone pretty consistently for much of the last decade.

To me his "maybe" if he has a girlfriend pretty much to me confirms he does. That's as much confirmation we've gotten from him on that topic in years. And I do believe it's someone new.

Ask #2: What are the odds that Taylor will work again this year?

Answer: It doesn't seem like he has anything lined up at this point. As much as The Terminal List might not be the critics cup of tea, it was the number one show on Amazon last weekend, unseating The Boys, which is Amazon's big summer show, so he's going to be on the radar for some that maybe he wasn't on previously. It could go either way, he could sign on to something really great that comes his way and film this fall, or he waits it out and doesn't want to work until after Painkiller comes out.

Ask #3: Any word on painkiller?

Answer: I can only assume Taylor mentioned Painkiller would be out later this year or now early 2023 when he was being interviewed by Esquire. So to me it still sounds like they're not sure and Netflix is probably setting their fall/early 2023 schedule.

“The Defeated” (also known as “Shadowplay”) arrived on Netflix two weeks ago.

Here are some promo pictures from the cast in character. Michael C. Hall as snobby american ambassador Tom Franklin, Taylor Kitsch as the main character Max McLoughlin, an american cop and Tuppence Middleton as Tom´s wife.

I have watched it on german TV, it´s not on german netflix. The version on netflix is probably a little different.

It´s a thriller mixed with drama in a post war Berlin scenery (a very detailed set) and was shot in 2019 in and around Prague with an international cast.

hey! i'm so sorry if i'm bothering you, but i read your faq and wanted to ask a quick question. what do you use to record your screen for gifs? i have a hard time finding clips on the internet of things i want to gif and i was wondering how you record stuff from netflix? thank you so much in advance!

hey bianka! i use shadowplay, which comes with nvidia graphics cards. on my mac i just use quicktime, which has a “record screen” feature. you can then literally just save the clip as a .mov which ps finds easier to open and use it immediately.

alternatively i recommend obs! you can use fraps as well ofc, but it doesn’t compress videos well and you can end up with a 1min video being like 30gb lol
