Suna was quick to come up with a plan.Y/n always had a thing for cheesy romance movies, so he wrote her a confession letter. He left it anonymous and asked her to meet him at lunch under the cherry blossoms out back. While she was going outside to meet Suna, Atsumu was making plans of his own to confess.

Suna was waiting for Y/n nervously. Suna stood with his back to the school, hands deep in his pocket.

“Suna?” Y/n’s voice rang out.

“Y/n.” He smiled as he turned around.

“Did you write the letter? It was really sweet.” She smiled at him.

“I did.” He said shyly. “I’ve wanted to confess for a while, but I’ve been a little scared.” He was playing into one of her favorite romance scenes from her favorite movie she made the team watch often with her.

“It’s so weird to see you all nervous.” She laughed.

“You make me nervous.” He shrugged.

“I accept your confession, Suna.”

“Call me Rintaro.” He smiled. He walked up close to her and pulled her in for a soft kiss.

The two walked back inside the school hand in hand. Atsumu and Osamu were standing in the doorway.

“What’s going on here?” Atsumu asked.

“Rintaro confessed to me.” Y/n said.

“He did, did he?” Osamu asked.

Atsumu held a grudge for Suna for a couple weeks, but moved on rather quickly. Finding a girlfriend was easy for Atsumu.

It wasn’t until years later y/n found out, it was actually at the party Suna was holding for the old Inarizaki team. A drunked Atsumu approached Y/n.

“You know Y/n, I’ve always had a thing for ya.” He slurred, “Samu told me I should do this.” He pulled her in locking lips together.

Suna walked into the room just at that moment.

“What the fuck are you doing to my girlfriend? “

“Doing what I should have done years ago, Rinn.” Atsumu slurred.

“Get the FUCK out of my house!” He screamed.

Osamu grabbed Atsumu’s arm and began to drag him from the house.

“Rin it’s not what it looked like. He kissed me.. I swear.’ Y/n was on the verge of tears as she could see the anger resinanting off him.

“Go to our room and get naked.”

She figured he just wanted to fuck away the anger like he usually did. She rushed into the bedroom and stripped down, climbing on the bed. Suna was looking through the kitchen drawers. He grabbed something and put it behind his back. He placed the object in the hallway on the table outside the bedroom door.

He walked into the bedroom. He started to go through the bedside drawer. He pulled out some rope.

“Are you going to accept your punishment?” Suna asked.

Y/n nodded her head. Suna climbed up on the bed on top of Y/n. He tired her wrists up super tight.

“Rin, it’s really tight. Can you loosen it a little bit?” Y/n asked.

“No, you deserve this.” He snapped.

Y/n felt the tears begin to fall.

Suna went to her feet and began to tie up her ankles. She tried to kick her off as she trashed her legs around. He was quick to grab them and shove them underneath his body. He tied them up as she cried out for him to stop.

Au where Niki, Kohaku, and HiMERRU + Hiiro make a diss track about Rinne, Anzu finds it and wala, a new unit is formed!

This au probably makes zero sense and i haven't watched the anime, nor do I know much lore abt Crazy:B or ALKALOID so characterization is probably wrong and this is all probably extremely ooc, but I came up with this idea as soon as i was going to sleep at like, 4 am so ykyk ꒱ --☆

So basically, the rest of Crazy:B are just annoyed with Rinne, they're frustrated with him but they know that if they try to talk to him he probably won't care or apologize. As sorta a joke, Kohaku makes a small diss track on Rinne, Niki finds the idea fun and joins, and eventually HiMERU chimes in as well.

They all just keep the diss track as an inside joke, but Kohaku ends up showing it to Hiiro just to see what his reaction to it would be. Hiiro thinks it's a funny piece of banter, and decides to make a few bars as well. Kohaku is impressed with how well Hiiro can rap and they all decide to just start a silly rap group together, nothing official but songs they make for themselves to enjoy.

Anzu ends up finding it, and thinks it's hilarious. She says that they can actually make a rap group but only temporarily, all of them didn't expect this to really happen but they're pretty excited at the idea of making a rap group together and release songs they've worked hard on.

Like, as soon as the meeting Anzu had with them is over they all rush to Hiiro and Niki's shared dorm and basically have a sleepover where they gush about unit name ideas, costume ideas, and mew songs. Hiiro decides to name the original Rinne diss track 'Dethrone' since Rinne is the future king if their village. All of them think it's an amazing name. They all share a few laughs and stuff.

The next day Anzu calls them to her office and basically asks them if they want to start the unit, and they all say they do. Anzu is pretty cheerful about the whole situation, and she tells them to check hold-hands for any updates from her. After a bit Kohaku gets a message: he's the new unit leader of Hornet Poison!

He quickly tells everyone, and he's kind of nervous, he's the youngest out of all of them but he's happy that Anzu thinks he's capable of being a unit leader.

Hornet Poison is a four member idol unit, consisting of Kohaku Oukawa, Hiiro Amagi, HiMERU and Niki Shiina, and they're a unit under Cosmic Productions.

On a day Crazy:B was supposed to have a live, nobody but Rinne appears on stage, suddenly all the lther members of Hornet Poison come on stage, all dressed in their unit uniforms. Rinne is obviously surprised, but he goes along with the flow of things.

The live basically goes like this: Kohaku explains who they are and why they're there. Hiiro adds to what Kohaku says. Both Niki and HiMERU start the sing or rap, and once Kohaku and Hiiro are done with what they're saying, rhey join in as well.

Rinne is just in absolute shock, but he really finds the whole thing funny and afterwards he buys the hornet poison gang ice cream.

OK this one wont be super long bc ill be accompanying it with doodles but, u know the drill, under read more so i dont stretch people’s dashboards out

im gonna start with rinne i think he is VERY enthusiastic. he’s so happy to be there man. like he’s usually loud and kind of obnoxious regardless but this brings it out even more, most fans eat it up bc thats just his persona now, right. if any older fans show up he gets a bit softer/quieter to accommodate for them because he trusts them. 

if he notices fans being too shy/awkward he’ll try his best to hype them up and make them feel welcome i.e everybody be nice to this fan or i’ll blow this whole place up! but at the same time it’s like the second he sniffs out that they’re nervous he becomes a bit more pushy (WELL-MEANING OFC) AND IT CAN GET TO BE ALMOST SCARY… HE WILL EITHER GET SOFT AND UNDERSTANDING OR HE WILL EXPLODE ON U AND TRY TO MAKE U EXCITED WITH HIM THERES NO IN-BETWEEN… he will point out that ur nervous and ask u why that is. maybe poke a little bit of fun. obviously not enough to make you cry or whatever but enough for you to shake a little bit, so that after you leave you can look back at the pictures and memories like damn im actually glad rinne amagi helped me out of my shell

hes like an apex predator he can sense fear but instead of k wording you he forces you to do peace signs with him in photos

niki like always is super friendly and welcoming. he tries his best to make fans have fun! he isn’t nearly as pushy as rinne and doesn’t really pry. he makes small talk and if he thinks you smell nice he Will point it out! he will compliment and laugh a lot and overall be very silly. 80% of any event he’s playing footsie with rinne under the table and occasionally during fan meets they’ll start play bickering both for The Bit and also because they cant go too long without doing it it sustains them. 

one concerning thing about niki is that regardless of the circumstances he will always ALWAYS accept food, even though he is not supposed to. he sneaks off to eat snacks to prevent hunger pangs and if any fan catches him while offering food he will most assuredly be like oh hell ya, which is why the other guys are constantly on the look-out for him. while almost all fans do it in good faith i can imagine he’s gotten sick from at least one instance of this happening but he never learns because he cannot for the life of him turn down stuff he can eat. kohaku and rinne literally always have an eye on him to make sure his breaks stay short and to haul his ass back to the table 

himeru is perfect. like as a meet and greet idol he is exemplary. it’s almost scary. he gives the perfect amount of small talk, compliments you just enough, smiles the whole time. holds your hand for enough time, brushes his hair behind his ear acting all handsome, laughs at anything and everything that might be a joke….it’s like he has a mental checklist for every encounter. he studies this shit every night before an event so he has it down to a T. he makes meeting the others feel like youre talking to the teletubbies 

like rinne he senses fear and while he doesnt push like rinne does it’s almost like. he’s smug about it. he knows he’s that good! HE’S SO RADIANT YOU CAN’T LOOK AT HIM FOR TOO LONG…

ok lastly kohaku! kohaku i feel like would definitely try his best to copy himeru. he thinks the other two are not good examples, so partly himeru’s trying to show off because he knows kohaku is watching. being good friends with aira also has him practicing this a lot with him, too. but on his own kohakuchan is good at talking to people, slightly less good at maintaining eye contact or handshakes but he’s working on it! you can tell he’s new to it but he’s trying his best so it makes it all the more endearing. 

the other three point it out a lot when they think he or the fans can’t hear. not in a malicious way theyre just happy to see kohaku’s having fun. his encounters definitely feel a little more rushed but not because he necessarily wants it to be over you can tell hes just a bit more nervous to be 1 on 1. sometimes the other guys do something stupid in the sidelines so he can get angry and have him let loose. anyways Be nice to him

💜 Summary: Rinne and Niki bring Mayoi to Build-A-Bear, and Mayoi isn't sure how to understand his emotions that night.

💜 Notes: hi. :). idk if Build-A-Bear is a thing in Japan or not but for the sake of this.. it is. RinNikiMayo is so silly and i am so sad there isn't much content for them. it's tragic. also i really rambled at the end and ended up not sure how to finish, so if the last bit is weird to read, i get it.

Rinne and Niki had been dating for a while, and just about everyone knew. It's not like they tried to hide it. Even if they never kissed, Rinne said he would marry Niki enough for everyone to get the point.

When they were finally interacting with ALKALOID more, Hiiro was a bit surprised by Rinne's behavior, and had even taken advantage of them eventually sharing a dorm room to ask Niki about it.

And, as Crazy:B and ALKALOID spent time together, eventually Mayoi would speak to them more and more.

He struggled with it, and seemed to nearly evaporate from Niki and Rinne's loud and extroverted personalities. But he slowly talked to them more and more, to the point that he would sometimes show up nearby them, his way of silently asking if they were okay with him being around.

The Crazy:B members knew each other well, so they didn't need to have a big conversation about their feelings towards Mayoi as they developed. Of course, they made sure they knew how the other felt and what was and wasn't okay.

They didn't want to scare Mayoi away, so they were taking things very slow. Small hang outs, slowly learning about him, and slowly getting closer.

Rinne wanted to yell to the high heavens about how lovely he found both Niki and Mayoi, but Niki made sure to keep him in check.

Of course, Rinne and Niki went on dates on their own still. It was on one such date they noticed a shop in the mall. One where you made your own stuffed animals.

Well, they knew just the person who may enjoy such a thing.

Mayoi was a bit nervous to go to a mall, such a crowded and loud place gave him the chills, but he wasn't going to turn down such an invitation from the two boys.

So there they were. The three had found a day when they had some time and drove to the mall.

"Build-A-Bear..? I've heard of it... it's popular in the United States." Mayoi said quietly, looking up at the sign.

"Have you been before, Mayo?" Niki asked, snacking on a treat Mayoi had brought from the Sweets Club. (He had called them "donut holes".)

Mayoi shook his head, fiddling with his own hands. "No. It's... loud. And scum like me-"

Rinne cut him off, pushing the other two into the store. "Nope, don't talk all sad! Kyahaha, let's find out how we do this!"

Thankfully, the store was relatively empty. They looked around, and went to the boxes of stuffed animal skins.

"Woah..! This one's so soft!" Niki exclaimed, grabbing what would become a panda.

Rinne looked over his shoulder. "It fits you! Panda's eat a lot too, don't they?" he laughed, grinning at Niki's glare.

Mayoi grabbed what would become a white cat, smiling down at it.

Rinne grabbed a fox, and the three moved along to the next area. They were smiling, enjoying themselves.

It was a very sweet moment, the group doing as the employee said, moving around to "give life" to their little creations. Rinne was very energetic, giving such a silly activity his all.

Eventually the time came to put the fake hearts in their creations and finish sewing them up. Mayoi did his best to put the heart where it would be in an actual animal, but Niki and Rinne just put it in the general area. The three animals got stitched up, and they moved to the rest of the store, seeing if they wanted any accessories.

Mayoi silently pointed at little accessories, specifically little bee wings and headbands for the toys.

"Oh, good eye!~" Rinne grabbed both of their hands and dragged them over, excitedly grabbing the little clothes. "They aren't anywhere near Shu's doll clothing quality, but they're certainly cute!"

Niki sighed, shaking his head. "Rinne, it's a bit unfair to hold things to Shu and Kiryu's quality expectations. They've spent days on costumes before, yeah?"

Mayoi gave a small nod. "Mm... my roommate is part of a circle with them. He's talked about the quality of their crafts before..." he smiled, blushing a bit. "Ah... to dress people up like cute little dolls... how sweet...~" he whispered, before realizing he said it aloud. He covered his face and turned away.

"Oh yeah, your roommate is part of the theater group, right? Tomoya?" Niki asked, not caring he let one of his thoughts slip.

Mayoi turned back and nodded, holding his white cat to his chest.

Rinne grabbed one of the bee costume sets, not passing the opportunity to have something match his theme.

He handed one to Niki as well, who shrugged and took it. Then Rinne handed one to Mayoi, who almost seemed off guard.

"We'll all match!" Niki smiled, holding out his panda toy and the costume.

Mayoi looked at the item in his hand and then back at the excited bees. He smiled sweetly, he sharp teeth shining from behind his lips.

Niki and Rinne felt their hearts explode a bit. He was simply adorable.

"Match...? Aah... you want to be connected to a monster like me, even through something so sweet and innocent..?" Mayoi seemed to almost squirm, his thoughts running wild. Rinne threw his shoulder over Mayoi's, grinning at him.

"Don't say that, Mayoi! You're not a monster..." Niki came over as well, placing his hand on his arm.

He squirmed a bit, unused to physical contact.

The two backed off a bit, deciding to pay. Mayoi pulled out his wallet, but Rinne snatched it away before pulling his own out.

"Nope!~ Kyahaha, we invited you, we'll pay!" Rinne laughed again before handing his wallet back.

"Are you... sure? That... almost makes this feel... uhm. Like a... date." he progressively got quieter and quieter, and more and more red.

Niki and Rinne glanced at each other, unsure of how to react or respond.

They decided to just shrug and continue to pay. Very good communication skills, everyone.

The three walked out, and Rinne was quick to rip open the package containing the costume and dress up his fox, even as they walked.

Mayoi was freaking out.

He sat on his bed, staring at the little white cat plush, little bee wings and antenna decorating it.

He didn't know why this seemed like such a big deal to him. Why just looking at the little thing made a certain two idols pop into his head. Why he would think of their loud personalities, their upbeat singing and performances, the way they felt so warm when touching him...

He shook his head, whining. He couldn't help his thoughts, he's never been able to, but he still hated it. He hated how he couldn't stop thinking about them. Their touchiness, their inclusiveness, their looks, their odd kindness...

No matter how much he shook his head or turned away from the toy, his thoughts came right back to the boys.

He couldn't think about anything else. Just grey and red hair, warm skin and strong arms, the smell of their cologne...

How shameful, a monster like him, thinking about the kindness they gave him. He didn't deserve that, but they gave it anyways. They were so sweet, and he felt nothing but admiration for them. He wanted to be around them, to spend all his time near and with them.

He felt miserable, his thoughts violently swapping between pure joy from their existence, and self hatred.

He tried harder and harder to figure out why he felt so... confused. Why the mere thought of the boys made his chest feel like it was fluttering.

As time passed, Mayoi slowly drifted into a light doze. He grabbed his new cat toy, holding it to his chest.

That night, his usual negative emotions drifted away, letting him rest with images of two other idols filling his mind. He didn't realize how hard he had fallen.

partners au tag I wanted to write a scene where Azusa and Ren (Niki's former partner) showed up backstage at a Crazy:B live but I just didn't like it for some reason, soooo instead here's a possible scene from when they were in the Game! Assume this happens somewhere in the middle/nearing the end of the week and uh don't. don't worry too much about the details

Azusa watches Ren pace with growing agitation. They’re stuck here for the foreseeable future, and while Azusa is certain they’ll get out eventually, it does no good for her only companion to worry themself sick.

“For goodness’ sake Ren-san, stop your pacing and calm down,” she says, frowning.

Ren whirls around on her, wild-eyed. “Calm down? I can’t calm down. I-I am not a calm person!” She sighs and they continue, “Aren’t you worried? We could die here! We probably will die here!”

“We won’t die.”

“How can you be sure?” Ren starts biting their thumbnail, prompting Azusa to stand and wrench their hand away from their lips. They stare at her, still buzzing with nervous energy, and with a huff she tugs them to sit on the cold floor, keeping their hand in hers so they don’t start chewing again.

“You know I don’t like Rinne,” Azusa starts. This is no secret; she and Rinne were arguing when Ren and Niki came across them for the first time. “I don’t respect him and I don’t particularly trust him either, but I do trust one thing about him.”

“What?” Ren asks warily.

“He would not run away from someone else’s game, especially not when the odds are against him.” She clicks her tongue as newly-familiar irritation rises in her once again. “It’s one of the things I hate most about him—he will go against impossible odds so long as he gets the last laugh. He will not be told what to do. He will not allow himself to play by another’s rules. He does not like me nor does he care for you, true, but he will make sure we all get out of this alive because it is exactly what the Game Master does not want him to do.”

Currently, they are hostages for their partners. Azusa does understand Ren’s worry: Niki is nice enough, but between the two of them and Rinne, he would likely pick Rinne; there’s no question as to who Rinne would choose. There is every possibility they could abandon them here.

However, Ren and Niki have been spared some of the enlightening confrontations she and Rinne have had, so Ren doesn’t know as much as them. Moreover, they were not forced to be Rinne’s partner, following, dragging, being dragged by him. They do not know that Rinne has been planning since the day they woke up dead.

Azusa does not know the specifics of these plans. She doesn’t trust Rinne, and so she isn’t even sure she trusts whatever he has in mind, but she does trust his ideals. She trusts that he hates authority more than he hates her. She trusts that he would not allow them to die, if only because allowing any of them to die would be to admit defeat—and Rinne would never do such a thing.

She squeezes Ren’s hand, looking them in the eye. “They will come for us,” she tells them firmly. “We will not die. You do not have to trust Rinne or Niki-san to trust in me, yes?”

“I trust you,” Ren says. Azusa smiles.

She watches their shoulders start to lower, comforted by her own certainty. She has discovered over the past few days that their anxieties are best laid to rest with facts, and luckily, Azusa is better with logic than platitudes. She would not speak empty words.

If they had been dropped in the same area, they would have made good partners, but perhaps it is for the best that they weren’t. They would not have worked well enough together to avoid being Erased.

Instead, they are bound to Rinne and Niki.

Despite everything, the ending is clear.

It's a child, who's covered all over with dirt and wounds. Base on the cloths she wear, she don't seems to be someone from their village. To add the fact, he never seen someone like her before.

"...are you really a monkey since you can't talk?" He heard her mumble conflicted while still trying to look up to where he was. "Monkey? That's very rude to call someone that, lil girl." Rinne jump from the high position he have to the lower branches and to the view point of the strange outlander.

The moment their eyes meet, up close. His mind wonder of the tale their elder keep telling them, that their Village is a unique place, no one would able to find it without local help. Any outlander who manage to arrive on their own without help. They are destined to be the spouse of the next or current monarch. Such tale is just a tale but indeed no one ever wonder far off to their little hometown until this stranger did.

"... Why did you call me lil girl? We're probably the same age." His gaze meet (color) eyes which remind him of his little brother wide and innocent brainwash eyes. "...you know, you should leave before someone sees you." Rinne landed on his feet to the ground in front of his destiny. He thought how elders in their village believe tales of old age, this child would be lock away in their village if they know she come to their village without help of others. It be tragic if it befall such fate to other people. He already suffering the so called destined fate or role given to him before birth.

"...I'm lost... I don't know, I keep going back to the same location of this maze like forest.... " "Lost? Don't you have a guardian around you?" "...my guardian likes adventure, I'm dragged into it. They were looking for a village in this place but I lost them when I was picking some colorful stones." She then show some stones she collected that she put on her pocket. "Look at this pretty stone. It's so pretty, I have to stop to get it." Her eyes shine as she show him, her precious collection. Seeing how happy she was even so she's so lost, he can't help but sigh. "You really should think of your safety... Than those stone." He mumble, his quite worried how this kind of person is left off on her own in the wild forest.

"...I have two pretty red and blue one! They match your eyes and hair. Would you like to take them if you help me out of the forest?" She seems to try to bribe rinne to helping her out of the situation. " Huh? H-help you out of the f-forest?" He never thought he would be ask this kind of favor. He never went out the forest before! He don't know why but the idea somehow brought chill and excitement to the young monarch.

"Eh. Why do you seems nervous about it? You ok? You don't have too, I'm use to getting lost. Probably find my way back home in few weeks or something..." Rinne reaction was thought that he don't want to guide her, she don't want to force someone to do something after all.

"No! I'm not~ I'll guide you! Out of this forest!" He offer his hand to her, she stared at his clean hand.

" My hand is dirty. Don't want to dirty you--"

"it's ok!" Before she can finish her words, her hands is taken and held by the other.

He then start running and she run along with him, the two children run while still holding hands as they venture out of the forest, the young boy who felt slightly nervous as they slowly see the view of the outside world-- the civilization out of his hometown. When felt slipping away because of the thought of violation of the rules, wanting to back away, back to his home.

The person holding his hand, held his hand tighter." Is there something wrong? We're close already, the house my parents rented is in the edge of the forest! So we're probably close~ " her voice snap him out of his trance and as they went to the last bushes and the clearing as well view of humble modern day home come to view.

"R-right.. " his voice almost to a muted tone as he felt the thought of being a troublemakers as the next monarch bugged his mind, he can't help but think of what the elders would says, what would his parents would say, would his younger brother be disappointed on him? ' rinne comes to a stop before he can totally exit the forest, his companion stared at him as she stood outside the forest still holding his hand.

"Is there something wrong--"

"this is the edge of the forest... You better go now. My stop is here..." He mumble not even meeting her eyes. He can't help but think how shameful he is, his a troublemakers- rule breaking monarch. No one would follow his leadership if he don't even follow the rules of the village!

"That's odd.. you seems excited to be out of the forest earlier... " Her words made him even more bothered, he cannot believe he broke the rules! He wanted to leave quickly, to go back to the village and maybe go play to his younger brother who's still out looking for him, how irresponsible of him!' many thought come and go.

His hold on her slowly broke but before he can process the next action of hers, he felt being pulled out of the forest to the clearing.

" If your hungry, there's snack in the kitchen! Let's go!" His mind is blank as she drag him out of the forest to the modern world, the village keep him away from. He don't complain as they went upstairs the back door of the house to the kitchen that look far from the kitchen he have back home. He don't even say a word as she serve some drinks and snacks.

"I... " He slowly start to speak as realizing what just happen start to he process on his mind.

"I'm out of the forest.... I..." A smile slowly creep into his face, laughing come out from him, he felt like chains that bound him disappear. The negative thoughts from earlier disappear as he realize his no longer near the village with the rules!

"Im....FREE!!" He yelled as he jump from where he Seat.

" Food from the outside! NOM NOM NOM. " he take a bite of the snack which is a sandwich. He eaten it with only few bites. " Delicious!!" He then process to the drink the honey lemon juice.

"FREEDOM!!" he says after he eaten his full. He don't care if he act unruly or non monarch as others says. He is not in his village anyway! His in the outside world!!

"... " He don't even notice someone staring at him being weird for the last five minutes. " My guardian said I shouldn't judge you but are you still hungry? I can make more sandwich if you want more..." After taking a bath and changing to a new cloths, she went downstairs hearing some screaming from her new friend. She wonder if his broken but he keep saying freedom.

"Sandwich? Is that what you called it? Yes please!" He followed her to the counter to make this sandwich, he felt very entertain learning more and more of the outside world, his eyes sparkle at new things he never see before.

His curiosity of new things is entertained by his companion who happily says the names and how it work of those things his curious about. Soon the time went by fast as the two enjoyed moment together.

The sun almost set which made the two part ways but rinne felt that many event happen today change his view point. It open up many things to his kind, the stereotypes of his village slowly become a yesterday yet he needs to act like normal as he needs to go back home for the day, rinne smiled as he says good bye to her, she says he can always come back, there always time before her family leave for the next trip after all.

With the thought of still connected to the outside world rinne went back home with a smile. He was given the stones she tried to paid his guide service for but instead of payment it's a momento that he been to the outside.

When he come to the village, his parents and younger brother ask where he been and first time of his life, be lied and said he slept and don't notice the time in some tree. His parents never know what's a lie or to lie.

They believe him and welcome him home. Rinne lay on his bed, holding his precious younger brother close to him, wanting to show him the world outside lurk in his mind.

Maybe one day his brother would go out to the outside on his own. And see how beautiful it is to be keep away from his whole life.

In the following days that come by, rinne went to the outside world to meet her, he meet her guardian who happily welcome her.

But the time where they depart for a new journey come so fast, rinne wanted to hold on to her, his only connecting and reason to go outside.

The young girl that the silly old tale says to be his destiny, smile to him as they part, he once told of her the story which made her think it's a odd as well yet she says her reply to the tale to him: if we're really connected by so called oracle and maybe the reason I always lost in the forest since I been here is to meet you. Maybe one day we'll see each other again or I'll find my way where you are. But still, I hope I'm not your only reason to seek out the beautiful world on your own. Till then we will meet again... ' she left that very day, rinne went back to the forest and stayed on their village like he usually did before he meet her.

But then he slowly gain courage to go out on his own. When his fellow village discovered it, he was lock and grounded on a jail.

He never stop going out of the village, he visit the humble house she once live at. Many other already live in that place that isn't her or her family. He learn many things on his own too. Years come by he formulated a plan to run away from home.

Not just sneaking out this time! But when his about to run away the news of some outlander arrive on their forest on their own happen.

He cannot believe someone else after her went to the village without a guide! He was force to prepare for the wedding the very day and he don't even meet the unlucky person yet but he wohld help them out by saying

" don't you know my so called bride already arrive years ago?! HA HA. SO THAT PERSON CANNOT BE MY BRIDE."

those words did come to a mute when he meet her running away on her own, she was the same person from years ago. He wanted to say hi and says how is it been but she don't remember him. He was a stranger to her. So he instead tried to say that life would be easy for her if she marry the monarch.

He don't know why he did it but he just did. Yet She rejected the idea and left. He watch her leave yet again as the village come to a frenzy, his brother ask him not worry as village warriors would chase and catch after his bride, the wedding would be proceed after her return.' but rinne thought of things and says his bride likes "idols" so he would go and become one to bring her back home.

Without even hearing the world's of others he run off on his own, chasing his destiny or changing his fate.

" oi, what are you doing in my house again rinne amagi?" Rinne felt being shaken awake by someone, he open his eyes to meet your (color) eyes who look at him with an annoyed look on your face.

" Of course I'm waiting for my spouse to come home. Welcome home, darling~~" he winked to you which made your disdain show on your face.

"...Whatever, do what you want." You mumble as you went to make some sandwiches after a long day of being lost again. Tropical day for you.

"Ooh sandwich! " Rinne is quick to seat to the counter to grab hold of one but his hand is slapped away by you.

"Aww your not sharing?" He pout feeling dejected.

" Wash your hands. " You says as you out couple of sandwich to another plate for rinne servings.

" Yes boss." Rinne quickly went to the sink to wash his hand but a question was ask to you.

" Hey do you remember things when your a kid?" He wonder why you don't remember him when he clearly remember you.

"My guardian said every human cell change every seven years, 7-14-21-28 so on, so forth. Not remember stuff is Normal since I'm still a kid, that being said my guardian let me do some silly things in those years of my life since I won't get embarrassed if I cannot remember them." You says as you finished making sandwiches.

"Oohh, is that supposed to be a logic of the modern world? " He seat down in front of you to eat his share, you stared at him with a amusement on your face.

" No it's just my guardian logic. That's not how it work for others. Lol" you chuckle as you take a bite of your sandwich. Rinne laugh with you, he remembers the old time, he felt that your words where you once said you would always find yourself where he is. Probably come true.

WiP Wednesday: Rorveth, Isendain, AND Thronebreaker Snippets + Some Headcanons

I couldn’t decide what to do for WiP Wednesday, so uh... have lots of stuff! We’ve got an Iorveth/Roche snippet, an Isengrim/Eldain snippet, a Throne3 (Meve/Reynard/Gascon) snippet AND a little bit about some Thronebreaker headcanons me and @moonlights-ordinance​ came up with today.

Iorveth/Roche:

This is the beginning of an angsty fic wherein Iorveth pines and finds out some unpleasant news. The actual plot of the fic is Iorveth trying to get rid of his feelings, but we’re not there yet.

Iorveth really should’ve known that this day was destined to be hellish the moment that he was jolted from his paperwork daze by the rambunctious shouts of his Scoia’tael outside his office. He sighed, scrubbing his hands down his face, then checking that his bandana covered his scar properly. Only after that did he open the door to see what was sowing chaos amidst his ranks.

No one… actually seemed to notice his presence, which to be frank, was not a problem Iorveth typically struggled with. He was quite good at appearing intimidating and infuriated even when he wasn’t particularly trying. 

But it seemed his elves – and a few of the dwarves – were far too involved in their own gossip to notice him as he walked through the crowd.

“Have you heard–?”

“No way.”

“Guess he loved Temeria so much he married it!” someone chortled.

“Ha! From Cocksucker in Chief to Consort. He must be real good.”

A bout of cackling followed that last remark, and Iorveth had his first premonition that the day was going to suck. But he still didn’t have answers, so he walked straight forward into what would become his own personal hell.

In the center of the crowd, surrounded by countless elves and dwarves, Iorveth was not at all surprised to find his two favorite subordinates – who were rapidly losing that classification. He stepped up next to them, crossing his arms and waiting for them to notice the trouble they were in.

Really, he should have known it would be these two. Rinn, for all that she was nominally well-behaved and quiet, was extremely mischievous, especially when it had the potential to cause minor problems for Iorveth. He would not be surprised if she had planned this. Her companion, Ky, may have been more innocent in that she may not have intended to draw a crowd – but she was absolutely the one spreading the gossip far and wide.

It took a while, but slowly, the chattering grew quieter and quieter as more people took notice of his presence. Finally, Rinn caught sight of him and poked Ky, who was still loudly expounding on something about marriage.

“Something you need to tell me?” Iorveth asked, eyebrow arched high and disapproving scowl firmly in place.

Ky winced, but Rinn looked entirely unrepentant as she signed, the Temerian King made an official announcement today that I caught during my shift.

Iorveth looked at the way more than a few people were biting their lips and avoiding his eye and hummed. “And?”

“Roche is getting married!” Ky burst out as if she physically could not hold it back anymore and Iorveth felt everything freeze.

Married? Vernon Roche!? The erstwhile commander of the Blue Stripes and proud pain in Iorveth’s ass? Who the fuck would he be marrying and why would it be a royal announcement!?

Even though Iorveth himself still felt like he was encased in ice, time seemed to resume for everyone else and chattering rapidly commenced, elves whispering back and forth between themselves and each other.

What was it someone had said earlier? ‘From Cocksucker in Chief to Consort’?

Was… was Vernon marrying King Foltest!?

Rinn must have seen the question on his face, because she nodded and passed over a paper missive.

It felt like moving through molasses to extend his arm and accept the notice that would forever change his life.

Iorveth stared at the announcement, static fizzing through his brain. Vernon. And Foltest. They were getting married!? 

His eye shot up to meet Rinn’s almost imploringly, hoping this was all some big joke. But there was no mischief in her eyes, and her forehead creased with worry as she watched him, clearly wondering what was wrong.

She, at least, appeared to be the only one who had noticed anything amiss in his reaction. The rest of his Scoia’tael were back to loudly gossiping about their enemy’s new status in life.

“Wait, I thought human men couldn’t get pregnant. Isn’t the whole point of a royal marriage to produce an heir?”

“Nah, I’ve heard the whore has a cunt,” someone laughed. “Can you imagine only having one? Sounds lame as fuck. But yeah, supposedly our dearest Commander Roche can make royal babies for King Fuckface.”

Iorveth’s heartbeat stuttered and he inhaled sharply through his nose. He… hadn’t known that. Sure, he’d heard rumors, but the rumors about Vernon were wild and extreme and ranged from his background as a whore to his imaginary sideline in child abduction to his preference for blunt force weapons.

Was this one… true? As he looked back at Rinn for the answer – aside from being the primary spy assigned to Vernon, she also seemed to just inexplicably know things – he could hear the conversation around him moving on.

“Hey, do you think that’s why they’re getting married? Maybe the idiot king knocked up his whore and now he’s gotta marry him!”

“I dunno, did Roche look pregnant at our last fight?”

Rinn nodded the slightest bit and Iorveth brain returned to static. Vernon. Pregnant. That – he hadn’t been aware that that was something he was emotionally invested in, but the storm of feelings racing through his veins proved that he was. He wanted – he wanted to see that, wanted to cause that, wanted to discover what Vernon’s cunt would be like and feel it stretched around him and–

He’d – he’d always assumed that Vernon had a cock, even though he wasn’t quite sure what a human cock looked like. But whenever he’d picture a different future – one where he could choose his own happiness over his cause – it hadn’t mattered that he didn’t know what a human cock looked like. His imagination was more than delighted to fill in whatever he wished, and coming up with different ideas was all that got him through the night at times. 

The idea of Vernon with a cunt was startling. It had never occurred to him before, and now he wondered how he could’ve possibly been so shortsighted. The things that he could do with Vernon’s cunt were limitless and Iorveth’s mind got stuck on that for probably far too long.

He was brought out of his daze by Rinn choking, wide eyes locked on his face. With sudden dread, he understood what she must have seen. What she must have realized.

Iorveth swallowed hard, jerking his head, “give me a proper report.” He turned to head back to his office without looking at her and he wasn’t sure if he was hoping she’d follow or that she wouldn’t.

Isengrim/Eldain:

This is a fluffy bit from a get together fic set post-Reasons of State and we start with Isengrim mourning Dijkstra and Dijkstra’s betrayal.

There was a knock on his door and then Eldain’s voice spoke. “Isengrim? Um. I know you aren’t feeling great, but would you come with me for a bit?’

All of a sudden, then blankness fled under a wave of confusion and curiosity. “What?”

“I – um. I have something for you. But you gotta come with me for a bit. And if you don’t like it, I promise I will not get in the way of your grief, even if that means hiding out in here.” 

Eldain sounded nervous, of all things. Isengrim hadn’t actually known Eldain was capable of feeling nervous.

Why was he nervous?

Isengrim frowned at the door. He wasn’t exactly going to get an answer lying here. And maybe Eldain could keep him from thinking about Sigi and all the pain associated with him for a bit.

It was worth a shot. Besides, he’d come to rather like the other ex-commander quite a bit over the course of working together. Not that they hadn’t worked together before, but there had always been a formality dividing them. Eldain looked up to him, he knew that. Not that Eldain would ever say it, but it was the way Eldain looked at him. A soft regard that one could almost mistake for love, but was truly nothing more than hero worship. He’d seen the same look on the faces of all the young Scoia’tael, but from Eldain, it felt like the thorn of a rose – he hated it, knowing that Eldain would never feel the same, that he was destined to die alone and miserable and a beautiful young musician like Eldain could never be his. But at the same time, he coveted it, coveted Eldain’s regard, because even if it wasn’t what he wanted, it was something. 

He would give anything to have Eldain in his life in any form.

Swallowing hard, Isengrim rubbed his face, then opened the door. 

Eldain was on the other side of the door and his shoulders were slumped in defeat that quickly turned to confusion, one shoulder cocking upwards. 

“What?” Isengrim asked.

“I – no, I just. Thought you’d say no,” Eldain said awkwardly. 

“Does that mean you do want me to go with you somewhere or not?”

“Yeah!” Eldain shook himself, smiling at Isengrim, and it felt as though the sun had emerged from cloud cover, because instead of the nothingness-pain from before, now he felt – too much, really. And some of it hurt, but more of it was pleased to just bask in the rays of Eldain’s smile.

He was only half aware of following Eldain through the house, still a little dazed from the blinding light. But when Eldain came to a stop in front of a closed door, the world seemed to snap back into focus, and he looked to Eldain expectantly.

Eldain fidgeted, feet shuffling. “Um. Like – like I said, if you don’t like it, I won’t force you to stay, but um–” his adam’s apple bobbed and then Eldain opened the door and motioned for Isengrim to enter.

Isengrim took two steps through the doorway and froze. All around him, the room was lit up with dozens of little lights – some up high, some down low, others around his hips. Those ones on the floor guided him towards what looked like a raggedy old blanket draped over the wooden flooring.

“It’s not exactly a starlit picnic,” Eldain shrugged, setting down a basket he hadn’t even noticed Eldain was carrying, “but since we’re laying low, I figured this was as close as we could get.”

“I–” Isengrim was breathless, uncertain of what to say. Awe spread through him as he looked over the dozens of lights, each coming from candles in small lanterns that were hanging from the ceiling all over. He couldn’t think of any words to portray what this meant to him, what it meant that Eldain would go to all this trouble for him. So he was as surprised as Eldain when his mouth said, “isn’t this a fire hazard?”

Eldain rocked back as if he’d been hit, smile abruptly falling from his face.

“No,” Isengrim tried to recover, cursing himself. “I – this is amazing. Is. What I mean. Um. Am trying to say. I – you did this for me!?” If there was disbelief coloring his tone, it was only because he could hardly comprehend the idea of anyone going to so much trouble just to cheer him up.

Eldain’s jaw was clenched, and his expression was a neutral mask that Isengrim hated having put there. Why did he always hurt the people he cared for? Was he truly so tainted that anyone he touched was at risk of infection? Was simply being around him enough to ruin what could be an incredible life for a beautiful young musician like Eldain?

“You don’t have to stay,” Eldain murmured, and Isengrim felt like crying, uncertain whether he wanted to leave and spare Eldain the risk of contamination or if he wanted to stay and bask in this incredible gift that Eldain was giving him.

Never before had Eldain wished that Isengrim would leave his presence immediately. But if he stayed much longer, then it was entirely too likely that he would witness Eldain falling apart.

Eldain had always known his silly little crush would never go anywhere . He was even almost fine with that. But he’d thought – he’d thought that Isengrim at least considered him a friend. And yes, this whole production was a little over the top for friendship, but hey, Eldain was an over the top kind of guy.

There was always the possibility Isengrim would hate it. And he’d worried about that and fretted over it, but he hadn’t really expected it to happen. Even if Isengrim was uncomfortable, Eldain would’ve guessed that he’d be polite enough to grin and bear it. Which was far from ideal, but right now, Eldain really wished that he’d done that, because instead it felt like he’d reached into Eldain’s chest and ripped his still-beating heart out, leaving him bleeding and doomed.

“Thank you,” Isengrim said, and Eldain startled. Of all the words he’d expected, those were not even on his radar. 

“What?”

“Thank you. I – you clearly went to a lot of trouble to give me something beautiful. Thank you.” Isengrim said the words easily, and Eldain was confused. That… didn’t sound like Isengrim hated it. “So, what are we eating?”

Eldain’s smile grew slowly, but as Isengrim continued to look expectantly at him, he found that he couldn’t hold it back. He waved Isengrim towards the blanket – one probably as old as the house was, but all the good blankets were in use. “Bread and cheese. Fruit. Some veggies,” he narrated as he pulled the items out of the basket. “Wasn’t sure how much appetite you’d have, so I wanted to keep it light, but if you’re hungry, there’s still some venison in the storeroom.”

Isengrim looked at the objects laid out around them. “I – I don’t know what to say except thank you,” Isengrim said, a smile growing on his face that made Eldain’s heart beat fast. “This is very thoughtful and sweet.”

Eldain flushed, reaching into the basket to pull out the last item. “And, of course, some wine. It’s not exactly high quality, but we’re slumming it tonight anyway.”

The huff of laughter Isengrim let out made it feel like there were wings on his heart, letting it slowly rise. He’d made Isengrim happy. If that was all he ever did in life, he could be content with that.

Throne3 (Meve/Reynard/Gascon):

The porn tags for these 3 are sadly lacking, so... have some porn XD The premise here is that they’ve just escaped the Lyrian capital through the sewers and now they’re all washing off in the first river they came across.

They all knew what the venerable Count Reynard Odo was getting up to with Queen Meve upriver. But while the deserters from the Lyrian army and the Strays seemed content with gossiping about it, Gascon felt compelled to seek out more.

Sneaking past the guards ensuring their queen’s privacy with her boytoy even now was honestly pathetically easy. But then, they were probably used to looking the other way for their queen.

Gascon didn’t really know what he was planning, but he knew that he needed to see Meve in the throes of pleasure. The fierce and enchanting queen was currently being ‘serviced’ by her top aide and everybody knew it.

Meve arched as Reynard’s fingers skirted just short of touching her clit. “Reynard,” she growled.

For example, I’ve decided he sits in chairs like Riker does, keeping his back straight so that he doesn’t stretch the scar tissue. His range of motion is also limited in a lot of ways, but he’s found ways to compensate and hide it over the years. (just as an FYI, Riker sits like that, ‘cause Frakes had a back injury and doing that was less painful)

Okay, now WITHOUT the homophobia that led to chronic pain - I’ve decided that each of the Throne3 need to have a niche hobby that occupies them in their limited spare time (developed with much help from @moonlights-ordinance​). Sooooo:

Meve:

Meve likes sewing. She doesn’t like people to know she likes sewing, because it’s closer to a traditionally ‘feminine’ than she usually aims for, but she actually really enjoys it. 

On their journey, this comes out when Gascon’s shirt gets ripped and when he complains about it a lot, she just grabs it and mends it. This leads to her spending the evenings mending all the different clothing from the soldiers and the Strays.

I think she learned sewing from her father and he taught it to her in an attempt to get her to just sit still for five fucking minutes!! 

Not directly related to sewing, but because her mother was busy being queen, she was largely raised by her father, who was an Ofieri Marquis (like, 2nd level nobility, under a duke) whose family paid a substantial sum in order to win the match. He was not popular at court and therefore found himself largely shunned by the peerage, but it left him with basically all of his time to devote to his children. (Does... does Meve have sisters?? Queen Kalis supposedly bore several girls???)

Reynard:

Reynard likes to crochet. Specifically, he likes to crochet little plushies. He’s not too picky about what he makes, and whoever is in range when he finishes it will likely end up gifted with an unexpected plushie.

At one point, he finished making a stingray, only for a passing soldier to dub it a Sting-Rey. Thus, Lieutenant Sting Rey was born. The troops listen to Lt. Sting Rey better than they listen to General Odo lmao.

He has a habit of crocheting in the evenings in the mess (maybe with Meve mending nearby) and random soldiers (and Strays) like to sit around his feet so that when he finishes a lil plush, they might get it. And when he starts a new one, he might take requests.

I could say so much more about the plushies he makes for Gascon and Meve, but I guess I’ll save that for a fic. But I gotta share these pics, ‘cause they’re so fucking cute. So: a donkey for Gascon (’cause he’s an ass) and a Lyrian eagle for Meve (’cause it’s Lyrian lol).

Gascon:

Gascon likes dancing! Specifically, he was trained in ballet from a young age (like literally a year old is when you start, apparently) and was trained as a ballerina (meaning he will be lifted/led instead of doing the lifts/leading). By the time he ended up on the streets at 12 (8 in canon, but my guy needs to at least be 20), he was pretty damn good at it - and so he ended up teaching the Strays

The Strays have a ballet troupe that puts on performances for the gang on occasion as like, a bonus to music night or something. Semi-spontaneous and very fun.

Gascon is SCARY flexible (like, to the point that Reynard is a little horrified that the human body can do that) from dance and he definitely uses that to his advantage.

He 100% gets everyone to dress up all fancy and put on makeup and do their hair and shit. After all, they steal all this fancy shit from the nobles - why SHOULDN’T they enjoy it?

But, when I unwillingly went to the audition, I was selected to be a member of Snow Prince choir so I couldn't quit...My awareness changed when I started working as Sexy Boyz with Kishi (Yuta) and Jinguji (Yuta). It was different from my lenient and care-free self, I am positive and had the desire to improve myself with my works, I really got motivated. During the time when Sexy Zone who is close to me also debuted, I am the only one who didn't feel impatient or frustrated, rather, I felt "yabai". Since then, I started to think to do my best to be an idol seriously.

I am happy that Johnny-san chose me to be the center of 7 MEN 侍, but I am not the type who pulls everyone, the other 5 members have better skills than I am, they are also reliable, and on the contrary, I am being supported by them. But, with the keyboard I am in-charge of, my experience playing the piano since I was 3 years old was put into use. At that time, I really didn't like playing the piano. It was like that but I got the sense of perfect pitch. I am thankful to my parents to let me, who hates playing piano, attend the class.

I am attending college now but during my high school, I got a lot of advices from Snow Man's Abe (Ryohei)-kun. Since I have been chasing him on his back for a long time, I have been encouraged on how he flapped big his wings as Snow Man. Honestly, 3 months before the first concert as 7 MEN 侍, I wanted to see the world from the different point of view so I planned to study abroad in New York. At that time, I once again tried to think about this job. And then, I realized that I grew to love this job. The good sides and the bad sides, as a human being evaluated directly, there's a sense of accomplishment in here. That's why, studying abroad became not necessary for me until I take a break from the work that I love.

This year, I had a lot of chances to be in quiz shows alone, and I thought "Is being not with the members this disheartening?"...To that extent, I can feel that the feeling of home when going back to 7 MEN 侍 is very important. The members often tease me, but since I am not a talkative and interesting type of person, I become happy too when I made them laugh when they tease me. But behind the scenes, the members are relying on me and I often receive personal consultations too. 7 MEN 侍 who is in the process of exploring it's form, now and from now on too, I want to support everyone. And in the year 2021, even if we encounter struggles, this may be the year where we can have a firm grip to make great strides!

This is just my own value but I don't believe in luck. Everything is result of my own decision and it is my own responsibility. I don't want to blame "luck", and I also don't want to think that what happened is thanks to "luck". Suppose there is luck, pulling that luck towards yourself is a great deal of effort.

Sugeta Rinne

An idol is a wonderful job that has the charm to inspire people's hearts.

When I was an elementary student, I went to Hey!Say!JUMP-san's live and when I saw a girl who is in front of Yamada (Ryosuke)-kun cry and laugh, I thought that an idol is a wonderful job that has the charm to inspire people's hearts. Rinne also wants to be like that so Rinne uploaded everyday in ISLAND TV during stay home. I had worries like, "Won't they get tired of me?" but it turned to "I am sure the fans are happy with this, right?"

Rinne's special skills are acrobatics and sports, and I was able to appear in shows like 「Honoo-no Taiiku-kai TV」や「SASUKE」. For me, I think a person who is athletic is cool, and since you will want to support a person who is working hard, from now one too, I want to appeal as a Johnny's who can do sports. Since I now have a group original song and individual job, I think this is really the time to give my all.

Before the actual show, I watch videos of my senior's lives starting with Hey!Say!JUMP-san's. Since I think having a proper image of "idol" as " a work to make people happy", I can do a better performance.

Sasaki Taiko

The 6 of us, even though we are late bloomers, I believe that we can definitely bloom.

The one who opened my path to Johnny's is Takahashi Kaito-kun. I also sent my resume when I heard that Kaito-kun who I thought cool when I saw him in a dance contest. With that, now that I am working as the same Johnny's, this is an amazing fate! I talk about music with Sato Shori-kun who likes the same band as mine, and I also receive dishes that he makes. Kishi (Yuta)-kun who Shori-kun is good friend with, took me to a his favorite soba stall saying, "It's a delicious shop." Since then, I've been addicted to that shop too.

I have been practicing dancing and playing drums when I was a kid, but Johnny-san chose my drumming skills more. At first, even though I am very thankful to be able to show it, I have become greedier and greedier, and I honestly thought that "I can also dance"...But 3 months before Johnny-san passed away, I heard from Oriyama (Nao) of Shounen Ninja that Johnny-san said, "Sasaki is good at dancing too." I do things as I please like how I kissed Hamada Masatoshi-san of Downtown in a variety show, but I am really very nervous...Before the show, I am the type who right the character "人" 3 times on my palm, I do it seriously (LOL).

I think I could grab the chance because I was able to meet Johnny-san.

I like Kimura Takuya-san since I was 3 years old, and thinking that I want to be like him, I sent my resume to the agency. In year 2020, when I was able to go and see Kimura-san's tour, I told him those feelings, he said, "Let's take a photo together." I thought that a star is different after all.

From the start, even before joining Johnny's, with singing as my strong point, I love singing in front of people. I often sing Misora Hibari-san's 「Kawa No Nagare No Youni」. But when I hit the puberty, I came to hate my own voice. I stopped singing for a while but during my 4th year in Johnny's, when I casually hummed to Kinki Kids'san's 「Anniversary」near Johnny-san, he praised me saying, "You're good in singing!" More than anything else, I am glad that Johnny-san who loved me like a parent recognized my singing which is something that I am trying to make as my strong point. From that moment, I worked hard because I wanted to be praised by Johnny-san, but when he passed away, it felt like I have lost my aim. But for Johnny-san, he hates negative remarks the most. That's why it is not the time to feel down, aiming seriously for this group to debut, I feel like that timing completely changed my awareness towards work. I think I could grab the chance because I was able to meet Johnny-san after all. If that didn't happen, no doubt I am not here now.

2020 is the year where I got to experience a lot of things for the first time. Especially with the stage play 「The Happy Prince」, I was able to feel the enjoyment of plays. I think it would be nice if I can challenge campus love story in a drama or movie this 2021.

Q. To have the luck on your side, do you have your own ritual?

When I want to calm down, I use a perfume that has a sweet vanilla scent. Since「The Happy Prince」is my first stage play, I was very nervous. When I used this perfume during that time too, it was able to relieve my nervousness.

I took the audition 4 times. For the details, you can try watching the episode where I talked about it in YouTube channel (LOL). Even if I passed the document screening but I couldn't go to the practice, I will repeat the cycle of going through audition again. If ever I continued [being a Jr.] during my first audition, I might be dancing and I might not had been able to make an appeal with musical instruments as my special skill during the band boom of Johnny-san. I am being told, "You're not Johnny's-like" because I say that I am better in playing instruments than dancing. It's just that, if I didn't enter Johnny's, I won't be playing instruments until now. So I can say that it feels like a wonderful destiny to be playing instruments as 7 MEN 侍.

Other than the bass that I am in-charged of playing, I also play guitar and harmonica. The first instrument I started with was drums and I got very hooked with 「Taiko no Tatsujin」(LOL). I am a complete geek as regards to music (LOL). Me going on a rampage on stage is the result of me thinking on how I can show 7 MEN 侍's style. Since there was a time when I also don't know clearly the difference between the guitar and the bass, so I can understand that feeling. That's why I want to do a performance that will remain to the memories of anyone.

With the aim "to be not less than what I am now" for next year, I want to be able to do more work than I did for this year. ...by the way, this is not a prank, right? I am very overwhelmed lately and I still can't believe that I am having an interview for anan (LOL).

Q. To have the luck on your side, do you have your own ritual?

Going to this certain shrine. Since I visited there alone during New Year, we had talk about changing the instruments we play and I have luck on my side. I like that it is quiet there even though it is located within the city, when I found that shrine, I prayed to the god of works.

To stand as the face of the group, you stand as the center of the group. His personality is my pace and gentle-mannered. Since you are not the "follow me!" type, that's why I think the members with strong personalities are also kept in place. Because I get stiff in front of seniors, Reia's sense of "being loved by everyone" is really nice. Banasan is seen as someone reliable, and among the fans, I think they see him as peculiar, funny, and has a lively image. But unexpectedly, he has a delicate side too, and he is fairly a considerate person.He is really a very nice person that sometimes he looks pitiful. Well, I also usually tease Yabana (LOL). He doesn't seem elusive at first glance, but I think he is stubborn. Konpi definitely won't cross the line he can't compromise with. And, he hates lounging around doing nothing. When work is done, he will be the first person who will say "I'm going home." At the start of 2020, when we changed the atmosphere of our band, I was struggling with the hook part's harmony, but Konpi can properly play the sound. I am super jealous of his talent! (Yabana)

Among the members, he has the biggest gap. Despite being called as "mad dog", he still makes weird faces and also jokes around doing things that are not Johnny's-like. Since he is a youngest child, he might also have an impression of being a brat and naughty. But in lives, he shows a sparking cool dance, and he has a excellent style too. You have the cuteness like an idol. Especially you like Yamada-kun, you have Hey!Say!JUMP's DVD and there was a time when we enjoyed watching it together. Motodaka: anan is the magazine that my mother often buys. Thus, I am happy to be able to appear in anan! At home, I am always being asked, "Are you going to work today?", but this morning I said, "No, it's not for work" (lit. it's different). Yabana: It would be funny if she didn't notice it even if it is already released~!

Nakamura: Even when they have the magazine at home LOL.

What is the history of your group name?

Sugeta: At the time we got the group name, I was doing activities with another 7 people. Rinne and Reia went to Johhny-san asking "we want a group name." And then, Johnny-san told us "I understand, I will think about it."

Nakamura: And then we thought that day was already over.

Sugeta: 5 minutes later, we got called "Samura~i!"

Nakamura: I thought, "Who is he calling Samurai!?" but when I looked around, it is only us who were there.

Sugeta: When the 2 of us went to Johnny-san, he asked us, "Do you know Kurosawa Akira's 「Shichinin no Samurai」?" Then, when we answered, "We know that film," he told us, "Then, how about being called 7 MEN 侍 from now on?" Each of the samurai who appeared in the movie are properly...like this...

Konno: Having strong personalities and skills.

Sugeta: Yeah

Konno: I am grateful that 7 people like that (having strong personalities and skills) were gathered.

What is 7 MEN 侍's strength?

Motodaka: Our difference from the other groups is that [playing a] "band" is our strength. As idols, we don't only play as a band but we can also show our dance.

Sasaki: Yeah, having both band and dance as "weapons" is huge, isn't it?

Motodaka: Yeah, since our first original song 「samudama」 is a band song, and our second original song 「Siren」 is a dance song.

Konno: When our next song was thought to be a band song too, our next song came out as a cool dance song.

Nakamura: With this, our third song became something incalculable. From now on too, I want for the fans to look forward to what our new song is each time we announce our new song.

Sugeta: Since there is already a vision in Domoto Koichi-san who is directing the play, I am looking forward to recieving direction and guidance even before the practice.

Sasaki: Reia will stand in front of the audience after a while, right?

Nakamura: Yeah. I currently have a feeling like I am seeing the person I love after a while that my heart is throbbing.

5th Interviewee: Hiro from MY FIRST STORY

- With regard to the coronavirus pandemic, how did you spend your time in quarantine while the country was under a state of emergency? Since you couldn’t meet people in person, what bonds and connections, if any, did you experience with those around you?

Hiro: I was always at home. It wasn’t often that I had so much time in my hands, so I tried all sorts of things. I think taking the time to reflect on myself helped improve a lot of things within me. We were making albums as well, so I’d like to believe I had a productive quarantine. The members and I exchanged a ton of data when we were making the songs, so I feel like we were in closer contact than usual when we couldn’t see each other. Given the current situation, I’m glad we were able to work together as a unit to create the albums.

- You released the two albums “BGM” and “sleeping” during quarantine, right?

Hiro: Up until now, we’ve been presenting every song we put out as “things we want to convey to everyone”, but this time, we made instrumentals without any vocals based on the concept of supporting people’s lives from behind. It’s precisely because of the situation we are in today that we hope the albums could accompany everyone through their daily routines. We used to get together before to discuss and create songs at the same time, but now we can make music remotely by having several patterns made and then choosing among them, thereby making things more efficient. I think we can make use of this work style in the future as well.

- “With corona”, as people would say, the future of music is likely to change. As an artist and music lover, what do you want music to be like from now on?

Hiro: I don’t think music will be gone forever. No matter what happens to the world in the future, music will never disappear from people’s hearts. That’s why I want everyone to continue listening to music as they always have in the past.

- “THE BONDS”, where you’ll be performing, pioneers a new live show format that will connect people to people and people to music in the midst of the coronavirus crisis. Please tell us how you feel about your first live performance in a while.

Hiro: With our own tours and events getting cancelled, of course we have mixed emotions, but we decided to perform at this event to make waves during this era, hoping we could be of help in some way or another. It’s been a while since we’ve performed live, so we’ll do our best!

- Are there any “THE BONDS” performers whom you have interacted with or would like to connect with in the future?

Hiro: If we’re talking about seniors then there’s Maximum the Hormone, but when it comes to connections, surprisingly, only KNOCK OUT MONKEY comes to mind. I listen to Vaundy and reGretGirl on the regular too, so I would love to connect with them from here on out and see them live sometime!

- Rinne, who listens to MY FIRST STORY regularly, passes the baton with the following questions – “Do you get nervous at shows? Please tell me about your fashion sense, or the kind of style that adds to your aura!”

Hiro: I don’t really get nervous before a show. I often imagine the venue being packed with people, or conversely, looking empty without an audience, right before a performance or the day before a show. Doing that might help calm your nerves. As for clothes, these days I just go into a clothing store and buy whatever I think is cute on the spot. Aura!? (laughs) You can’t just decide to have an aura. I think artists definitely have an aura about them even if they don’t realize it, so I’m sure Rinne has one too regardless of what he wears. Don’t worry!

- Lastly, a message for the fans coming to “THE BONDS” please!

Hiro: I’m sure there are a lot of worries and doubts at a time like this, but we’re doing the best we can in these trying times. I would love for all of you to see the moment we get back on stage, so let’s have fun together!

Fuma-kun  is so manly and cool. * "7 MEN侍" is supposed to be read as「seven men samurai」。 Because the origin is "7 samurai" so, it just adds meaning to the kanji. When you see him, it's like he's glittering and it feels overwhelming and also, he's cool. * From now on, I'll get fired up together with "7 MEN侍" --I'll do my best. Since there are many members who had worked with each other together, I am conscious and encouraged that there are 7 people (altogether). I'm on the keyboards, Taiko is on the drums... We can play instruments and I hope we could perform as a band as well. As for skateboard, I'm practicing it a little bit since I was in high school. I was supposed to practice with a group, I was suprised (so I said)「there's no way I could do it！」. Admired Senior: Kimura Takuya-san. I admired him when I saw him at a song program a long time ago. For me, he is a hero. * I'm happy to be part of "7 MEN侍", from now on, I will do my best and I'll straight up my mind. We have different specialties, I wish I could have each (other skills?). I will do my best for my favorite song! (?) I think that doing band performances will be our strenght because some of us can play instruments. Skateboard was the first challenge I thought hard at first but then, it has become fun. I am practicing it so that I could perfect it. Recently, I got messed up with the things that I do. (laughs) I will try hard to know better from now on so that I could have good performances with everyone. When I was in 3rd grade of elementary school, I have kept a Japanese drum for 6 years, I wish I could use it in the future. I would like to do fancation(?) as well. Practicing the skateboard is really difficult, I will exert my effort up to the level wherein I can decide which is my (best) skill whether it is in dance, singing, MC -- I will polish everything. Tsurushi Mitsuki: This is an older song I wrote, back in 2017. I made Mahiro sing in a very low register. Mahiro: I like the distortion effect in doubling my voice. Junji: I was surprised by this song, it has a nice balance between quiet and movement. Muku Mitsuki: This is the song where I began using a seven-string guitar. Hiyorin: The balance is very difficult to achieve, but once you get it, it's incredible. Junji: Between quiet and movement... THIS SONG IS DEFINITELY MOVEMENT. Oborodzukiyo Hiyorin: This kind of sounds like the kind of song we would have written in our early days. Takemasa: I think this song is more popular with our male fans since it's kind of R-rated. Mitsuki: I wanted to make a song that was dark and disturbing. Mahiro: I like this song. Junji: Between sun and shadow, this song is shadow. Ibitsu Mitsuki: This is maybe the prettiest song on the album, and a bonus track. It's a song about pain. Hiyori: The bass solo is very significant. Takemasa: After having written some hundred songs together, we've yet to have made a song like this. I'm glad we put it out now. Junji: Between strength and gentleness, this song is gentle. Hansuu Mitsuki: This is a song Takemasa wrote for us. It has a nice balance and it's really fun to play. Hiyori: It's fast and busy. Takemasa: I wrote it mostly on my iPhone. Mahiro: The speed and rhythm of it really makes it a unique song. Junji: This isn't a normal rhythmic pattern for Takemasa. It's all... (sings the pattern). That's it. That's all it is for me. [Then Junji compares it to some manga thing I'm not familiar with]. Tenshou Rinne Mitsuki: This is the kind of song that people who like Kiryu will enjoy. It's a very Kiryu song. We don't use normal phrases for us, though. Hiyori: It's really nice to hear you singing for us, Mitsuki. Mahiro: That was my idea. I thought it would add a nice kind of unique sparkle to it. Junji: This is a fast song. Watashi ha Kairai, Sarugutsuwa no Ningyou Mitsuki: This is a rather slow song for us. Hiyori: I felt like this song was a sort of turning point for us, that this is the song that shows we're no longer kids. Like we grew beards for this song. Mitsuki: Every time you submitted a demo of this song, the feeling of it was very uncertain. But the underlying sound was always kind of punk. Hiyorin: Thank you for all the deep feelings held in this song! Mahiro: I like this. Junji: I hate the rhythm. It's the same thing over and over again. Nopperabou Mitsuki: This song was born out of my want to write a song that had this sort of bass rhythm. For you, Hiyorin, it's all bass slaps. Hiyorin: Oh yeah! This is the most difficult song to play on this album! The rhythm is hard, and when I was recording, you kept asking for more and more. Mitsuki: And the lyrics, I really felt like I was able to write something significant and deep... Hiyorin: It is a sufficiently Micchan song. Junji: When you sent it to me, I couldn't even begin to imagine what the chorus would be like. Takemasa: We had to do so much reamping and such, this was also the most expensive song to make. Mahiro: There were just so many levels to making it. But in the end, it was fun. Mitsuki: How about it, Hiyorin? Can you go more? Hiyorin: ..I'm going to have to say for now, I'd like to stay at this level. Gekkabijin Mitsuki: This is the most Japanese-sounding track on the album. It's like Kiryu-pop. Takemasa: I had absolutely no idea where to insert this song in the album. Mitsuki: Maybe we should have made it a bonus track? Mahiro: Sometimes I forget we have songs like this, too. Junji: It's Mitsu-punk. Basara is Take-punk and Gekkabijin is Mitsu-punk. Harushigure Hiyorin: This song really conveys the feeling of now. This is really Takemasa's song. Kairai is Mitsuki's song of growth, and Harushigure is -- Takemasa: HAIR? HAIR? HAIR? Hiyorin: Your beard. Mitsuki: This is the world's beard. Mahiro: From the start, I knew this would be a good song. Junji: Takemasa wrote the music and Mitsuki wrote the lyrics, so it kind of feels like a thing you both peed on together. (Everyone laughs). No, it's a good song. It's good. I just hate it. I only play TAN-TAN-TA OVER AND OVER. Except at the end, I play DO-DO-DO. Then tan-tan-ta. But it sounds nice and sparkly. Jou no Ka Mitsuki: This is THE single Junji: The song that charmed the world. Mitsuki: We used this song in an anime. The concept came from trying to tackle something we couldn't do before. I wanted to do that. Everyone: Thank you. Hiyorin: I didn't cry, but I felt as though I might. It's a moving song. Junji: But then, seeing your name appear on the opening credits as the writer was kind of a blow. This song... between light and dark, this song is light. Mahiro: I really like this song. Kuroyami ni Madou Esoragoto Mitsuki: This song is "Kuroyami ni Madou Esoragoto," AKA the Take-ballad. Junji: This sounds like something he wrote when he was in school. This is back when it was just us in a Take-band. Prince Take hasn't changed a bit. Mitsuki: This song is just so heavy. Takemasa: I thought about all the things I wanted to say, the messages I wanted to get across. But I wasn't the one singing it, so I knew if Mahiro couldn't feel it, this song wouldn't resonate. Mahiro: It was really difficult to sing. Every line felt like a wound. Hiyorin: Usually songs feel like a journey. You hit this place, then return. Then you hit this place and return. This song starts with an intro that I expect to come back to, but you never come back to it.
