The world hurts less when I'm by your side
“Want to tell me where you got all this money to pay for this?”
“Got a loan.”
“I assume it was big enough to cover all of those expenses and your medications, right?” Bellamy nods “You got nothing left but your pension, do you? And you don’t get that again till next month.”
“Yes.”
“What will you do now?” Bellamy shrugs “Don’t tell me you plan on going back to that cold house and sleeping in it? How long has it been since you’ve been cut off.”
“Five days or so, but I’ve been sleeping at Clarke's for the past two.”
“I’m guessing considering she’s not here now, that this won’t be possible at the moment?” he shakes his head and Deucette nods “Okay, then you’ll sleep in our shelter until you can go back home.” Bellamy blushes at that and keeps staring down.
It was exactly what he has been thinking of asking but didn’t really have the guts to. The church had a small shelter with just twenty rooms, providing food and medical help that mostly came from the sisters serving in it and the community.
It wasn’t like the other ones in town probably because it wasn’t as big and it took mostly woman with children or men like Bellamy. He has known of it before because he has ended up there as a kid with his mom before Octavia was born and then a few times after. When he joined the Army, he put aside some money as donation to help the church keep up with it and help others like him and his family.
“I... “ he swallows hard and is about to say that he can’t do that-the memories of his childhood came flooding right in.
He was just three and a half, crying in his mom’s arms from hunger while she tried to soothe him by rubbing his back. She had been nursing him till he was almost three but then things got worse, his dad died, she lost her job and had no way of taking care of him, so they both ended up in a small room on the second floor huddled in with nothing but a bag of their belongings.
Just like now, the house was cut off from any electricity or water-it was impossible to live in it, so Aurora was forced to come here. It was vague but he remembered the Father stroking his head back then as he cried and whimpered in his mom’s arms. He wouldn’t stop till they gave him some food, warm milk too-he thinks he was sick back then as well, at least he remembers coughing as much and his mom wrapping him in blankets. He recalls that he fell asleep after she fed him and finally felt warm.
Then later when he was older, at about eight or nine with O just a baby, the same thing happened only now he had a much clearer memory of it. He was still as hungry and wanted to cry from it but he forced himself not to-he had his sister to take care of now, his mom to support in this hell. He was quiet, really quiet, in fact he can’t remember the last time he spoke out real words.
He wasn’t sure his mom noticed that he either shook his head or squeezed her hand, she had been too preoccupied worrying about nursing a baby, finding shelter and gettng a new job. It was the same father then who noticed Bellamy wasn’t talking. He had found him reading the children’s version of the Bible in one of the pews, nose buried in the pages when he had sat by his side and rubbed his back soothingly.
“You okay, son?” he had asked him then and Bellamy nodded but it probably didn’t come out as too convincing. “Did you get the chance to sleep? Eat some?” Bellamy shrugged, again without offering a clear answer. “Must be hard falling with a little baby there, huh?” Bellamy shook his head then.
The priest had raised an eyebrow then, realizing that something’s not right with the boy but not having a true way of knowing what it was.
“Can you show me what passage you’re reading?” he asked next and Bellamy pointed up at the top of the left page “Ah, Jacob and his brothers, I like this one. Would you read it to me?”
Bellamy shook his head and kept looking down at his Bible. The priest, an elderly but very kind man with ginger hair and beard, reached out and touched his shoulder. Bellamy had jumped at the movement and bit his lip, cradling it away from the man and closer to his stomach.
“Do you hurt, son?” he had asked and Bellamy shook his head but it was clear he was in pain. They all knew the real reason why his mom ended up back here wasn’t only because of the lack of money but because the man she was living with, Octavia’s father, had abused her before he finally took off, so he wouldn’t be caught by the local police.
He had hit Bellamy too. Aurora didn’t always know about it. It was in the rare moments at night when he came into their room and would pester Bellamy and his baby sister, asking him why he can’t keep the baby quiet and tossing him around. His mom was usually at work or passed out in the bedroom. It was up to him to feed O her bottle and keep her safe and quiet.
Sometimes, though, no matter what he did, she still cried. That’s when he appeared.
Other times Aurora was away again but he was home and he’d ask for a beer. Bellamy would bring it over and try to leave as fast as he could but the guy would start torturing him, kick him around, search his pockets for money all while smoking or sniffling something white from his hand.
Last time he hurt him was just a few days before he left. Octavia was crying in her crib. She was teething and Bellamy knew she needed medicine to help bring her fever down but they had none, so he wet a cloth and put it in her mouth, trying to soothe her gums or offered his own fingers to chew on. He had come in during one of her raging fits and beat Bellamy up.
He felt worse since then but he had no way of telling his mom. He never would.

Ep 1 Pilot Live blog
I'm going in guys.
FiFirst sight of baby Clarke drawing and dreasming of Earth. :( And the reveal that the whole earth is dead, and only The Ark is surviving.... or so they think. Another 100 years before it's survivable.
Baby Clarke. Oh she's not even eighteen. Every crime punishable by death and our little feral Clarkie overpowers the big tough guards. OH look it's Abby. Giving the Delinguents the chance to live! ON THE GROUND!
Damn they shot her with a tranq dart.
And the drop ship is off.... zoomies. Clark wakes up in a tin can with OH WELLS!!!! poor baby Wells. OH Monty and
And the chancellor telling them they ARE the chance for everyone because THEY are expendable. I always hated that. How can you call people expendable. Such a bad world view.
Oh the lady we never saw again after the pilot. I liked her. Abby's friend. What was her name?
ooomg, Clarke is giving Well's dad a dirty look. AND floating hair for brains. Finn. Right how did I forget his name? Octavia is enjoying her freedom with the other kids. But acceleration and Finn and his followers break the fucking ship.
Why is my brain so bad I've forgotten everyone's names.
Wells trying to apologize and Clarke NOT forgiving him. Little Wanheda.
Clarke goes to check on the fallen kids and starts taking control right away
OMG BELLAMY, just back it up guy, and Clarke gets in his face right away.
But here comes Octavia "the girl that hid under the floor." "OMG Look how big you are." Much tears.
Oh pissy octavia because he's in guard uniform. "No one has a brother!" All these reveals are pretty slick, actually. I know the who thing is cheesy but they are giving us so much information.
WOW. They open the door and SUDDENLY EVERYONE IS SO BEAUTIFUL IN THE GOLDEN SUN AND WIND MACHINES.
Don't say Octavia Don't say it.
WERE BACK BITCHES!!!!
she said it.
and enter the delinquents. Oooh. Radioactive. Not me dancing with with delinquents. Yes. Yes I am chair dancing.
"Why so serious princess?" Ugh. Gag. Wow I really hate finn. Still. More so.
Poor baby Clarke is so serious. THey dropped us on the wrong damn moutnain. Was that seriously all before the first commercial break? WOW packed.
Kane as a villain. Remember that? He is awful. Jackson and SInclair!!
Wells wants to be so helpful.
OMG John Murphy as an actual villain. And Bellamy too. Octavia the rebel. It's so weird seeing them so naive. But actually Octavia's character is still the same. Wells and Murphy fighting until hair brains jumps down and acts "the hero." Why is he so icky?
"Hey spacewalker. Rescue me next." EW. Octavia you picked the wrong guy.
Oh remeber that Bob came up with that deep voice because he stayed out too late the night before or something and had a husky voice so he then had to fake a deep voice for the next seven years of his life. lol.
God I cannot express how every time Finn opens his mouth I hate him more.
Our first adventure with Clarke and Finn and Octavia and Jasper and Monty.
Oh that's right. Jaha was shot. I totally forgot. After Clarke gets his pardon it becomes a non issue. And Jasper and Monty got put in jail for weed. lol. And poor baby O for "being born."
Haha. The shocking two faced deer that scares them all. All these wonders of the earth are very nostalgic. OH that's right, Abby gets put into jail for using too many supplies to save him.
And they discovered the shooter of Jaha. "It's no one. Just a janitor." Oh this guy is trying to get Kane to kill people. OH YEAH KANE you're talking to the traitor. It's that guy.
Murphy's back story. Begging for mercy in the float chamber when your father floated him.
Bellamy is so young. A trouble maker. Really just trying to keep the Ark from joining them because he killed Jaha. And taking over as ruler. Or dad of the group.
Oh new reveal. Clarke tells them why they sent the 100 down. The Ark is Dying. Three months left of life support. Maybe four after sending them down.
Why does she think Wells turned in her dad, anyway? Just because she couldn't imagine her mom doing it?
Oh me rolling my eyes when Finn says "we have to warn them" when really he's just saying that for Raven, not for some moral reason.
Octavia stripping and jumping into the water. Where did her jumpsuit go and how did she get the pants.
And Jasper spots the CREATURE coming to get Octavia. You know they could have used the creature in the water as one of the dangers in the following eps but they just dropped that. The only monster we really had in early season was Pauna. I mean non human monsters. We should have had more monsters.
I'm really just not paying attention to Jasper saving Octavia. It doesn't really feed into the rest of the story. That was a big monster. We should have seen more of it.
The delinquents having their first bonfire and taking off the wrists. Oh that was Fox. Wells is a goody goody. It's a little annoying. I mean he's right but he's not going about this in the right way. There you go. Our doctors, our farmers, our engineers. Bellamy is like okay well that's a good point. Until he Wells says "how could you not want our people to come down." And then he's like "what do you mean WE kemosabe. those aren't my people. Those are the people who floated my mom and put my sister in jail."
Now they're shouting WHATEVER THE HELL WE WANT they are fucking morons. Honestly.
But they are loving the rain. Hey that's the first rain they've ever experienced. Aww.
And abby gets arrested for saving Jaha. I mean Kane is right. No special treatment. But the whole concept is not good. Abby is used to special treatment though.
Penal code ONE. Their first law. Wow. All crimes are capital crimes.
"I choose to make sure that the human race stays alive"
"I choose to make sure we deserve to stay alive." Abby.-- This was like the most important statement made in the entire show, right here. First episode. And it was a driving force until season seven where they were just like. Nah. Nazi cults are the best idea. Technology. Purple aliens.
Oh they put Abby in Clarke's cell with her drawings.
Clarke wakes up on the earth (the dream) with the luminescent trees. Again a thing they could have used more often. maybe it was too expensive.
Oh Finn. You're ruining the mood. Go away. Yes I mock Finn's every line after he says it. Finn finds tracks he says are monkeys. Which we never see.
Kane thinks he's the only one who's willing to do what it takes which is going to be echoed by Bellamy later. They're both wrong. What was that character's name? Played by Kelly Hu I think.
Bellamy dragging Wells out in the middle of the night with his gun. He's telling Wells to stand up to his dad and take off the wristband. Murphy's reprobates take off his wristband. I totally thought they were gonna kill him but the scene ends with the clink and release.
Now we're executing Abby until... Jaha comes to the rescue.
Swinging across the river..."see ya on the other side." Jasper is trying to impress O. Finn STOP TALKING. you're a terrible character.
Good music though. "IT's okay to be afraid, Jasper. The trick is not fighting it." Ok Finn that line is actually pretty good.
Jasper finds the sign for Mount Weather and after much cheering and laughing--BOOM in the chest with spear. Not sure how he survived that actually.
The magic of hollywood.
"We're not alone." and BOOM WERE OUT.
well. that was fun. I can't see it for what it was, though. I can only see it for how it relates to the rest of the story that I know came later even if somethings don't relate and some things I didn't notice or forgot.
The acting's a bit wooden and stiff and the delinquents are morons. The hair gel is too strong-- the main reason we're happy for the first delinquent rain storm.
I remember I didn't love the show after the first episode, but I liked it enough to keep watching. It wasn't until ep three or four that I really started loving it.
ALL RIGHT MY FRIENDS. Let us now open The 100 Rewatch 2023 season!

pll verse octavia: the seasons 1&2 version (this is also basically a modern verse)
loses her mom at 16 and atom shortly after. i haven't figured out circumstances yet but he's killed and octavia falls apart a little.
i haven't answered laura about gina and don't know when or how her death happens, but she also loved gina very much and feels that loss very deeply
atom is the final straw after losing her mom and gina. she and atom grew close, much to bellamy's dismay, and he gave her a sense of solace after losing aurora and gina. losing him sent her into not only grief from his passing, but unresolved grief from her mother and gina's deaths that she had buried. she begins to party to cope with this grief, and finds herself spending a lot of time with a new crowd. she'd never really liked noel and his group, feeling like they were bullies who thought they were better than everyone, but they give her a wide access pass to parties and alcohol and more importantly, distraction.
her most important relationships suffer during this time. she gets lost in her grief and becomes disconnected from her best friend, ryan, and she loses a lot of trust with bellamy for her partying and rebelling. she doesn't have the words to talk about how deeply she's struggling, and doesn't have a name or understanding for the depression she's found herself in. he's just become a sole parent and is struggling in his own ways, and she causes him a lot of stress that she later regrets, and worries that he'll never fully trust her again. moreover, she carries the feeling that he's secretly sick of her and wants to be away from her.
when alison disappears, she's filled with a lot of anger regarding the difference in reactions to atom and alison's deaths. no one seems to care about atom, who was poor and underprivileged and alone, but rosewood is never the same after a pretty rich blonde girl goes missing. likewise, the world keeps spinning after gina and aurora's deaths while no one can let go of alison.
whatever status she might have built for hanging in the same crowd as noel or retained from her friendship with ryan (who is popular on the other side of the spectrum, being a lovable class clown type that everyone likes) is crushed when she has a panic attack after a prank at a party that someone catches on camera and posts online. she freaks out after that and isolates, not having a lot to do with anyone.
eventually she begins to pull her head out, reconnecting with ryan and trying to be better for bellamy. she's isolated at school outside of ryan, but doesn't really feel like talking to anyone else, anyway.
somewhere in there bellamy meets caleb and, seeing that he's homeless and has been staying at the school, invites him to stay with them. this is an adjustment for octavia, who has struggled for awhile with everything feeling unstable and the fear that bellamy is tired of everything-octavia being his responsibility. she struggles with feeling like she's losing him and with his focus on caleb, but ultimately makes room in her life for caleb and comes to love him as a brother. she's crushed when he leaves at the end of s1. she's relieved when he returns and welcomes him back, but is afraid he's going to leave again. ultimately, caleb is really good for her, and they become pretty close. she likes having someone else at the house when bellamy is gone, and grows attached quickly.
octavia continues to struggle with the fear that the rug will be pulled out from under her and she will lose the people she loves, especially bellamy. when he explores the prospect of dating someone he's become close to, all of the new adjustments are too much for octavia. she can't handle sharing bellamy with another person and is afraid she's going to lose him. bellamy can tell that it's too much, and breaks the relationship off. octavia is filled with guilt, because she knows bellamy deserves to be happy and him opening himself up to love again is a big, important thing. she knows she's being selfish, but she's so scared and overwhelmed and doesn't know how to deal with any of these fears.
some time passes, and octavia eventually comes around to the idea after a break in to tasha's place of work reveals the depth of bellamy's feelings, and she sees that she can't keep them apart anymore. she tells him to pursue tasha, and things begin to stabilize.
they get a bit rocky again when tasha and her nephew, christian move in with bellamy, caleb, and octavia. she isn't sure how to adjust to all of these changes, and struggles. but after awhile, she comes to discover she likes having them all around, and starts to see them as family as well.
it helps that she's become more involved with school and less isolated. octavia's participation in theatre goes from using what her mother taught her about sewing to help make costumes for productions to being cast in a play. it's something she's really excited about and it helps her a lot, giving her a healthy outlet for her feelings and a way to reconnect with classmates.
one of these classmates is mona. she never expected to want anything to do with mona; saw her as another one of the rich bullies after she and hanna's transformation and hated the way she talked to people and viewed others as lesser. but she finds herself a bit in awe of her talent and confidence as they work on the play together, and begrudgingly ends up with a big fat crush on her. they talk, and she gets to see more of mona beyond the popular girl façade, and comes to care about her a lot even though she doesn't want to.
she's crushed by the mona is a reveal. she's devastated to learn about the things mona has done to so many people she cares about, and once again finds herself swallowed by grief.
things get better when caleb is finally adopted in between s2-3. octavia's been afraid something would happen to take caleb away from them, including but not limited to caleb deciding he wanted to live with his mother after all, and his adoption is something real and permanent that can't just be ripped away. it means caleb is going to stay, and she very badly needed someone to stay. she begins to feel somewhat stable again, like the family she's gained in caleb and christian and tasha is actually going to last.

i was tagged by @astarkey (via my main blog) to list all my WIPS. thanks bb! highlights from my google docs folder are:
1. smoke signals (working title), an arranged marriage, enemies-to-lovers, slowburn zutara au that’s canon divergent from the end of s2. 5 years after the fall of ba sing se, the fire lord turns his ambitions to the water tribes. an arranged marriage between zuko and katara turns out to be the best way for the fire nation to annex the water tribes without major loss of life, so katara agrees. she hasn’t seen zuko in 5 years, since he betrayed her in the caves, and it turns out she still hasn’t forgiven him...
2. open my heart and let it bleed onto yours (title from wolf like me by tv on the radio), the zutara spooky au no one asked for. zuko comes from a family of werewolf hunters, and is shunned when he’s bitten. legend has it that there’s a witch at the end of the world who can cure any ailment, so he resolves to find her to have the curse reversed. katara can’t actually cure lycanthropy, but she can help him learn to live with it, to harness it, and she invites him to stay at her cottage until he’s less of a danger to others...
3. i’ll be alright (title from sunset canyon by foxwarren), a sethkate post-s3 continuation. kate has to cope with the trauma of amaru’s possession, and seth wants to help her learn how to live with it.
4. sethkate heist au, in which seth and richie make a bet, and seth convinces kate to go on a longterm, undercover heist mission at narcisso menendez’s company with him. to make it work, they have to pretend to be dating, and they have to be convincing.
5. untitled sethkate christmas au, which is exactly what it sounds like. seth asks kate, one of his servers at jed’s, to be his date to the christmas party at venganza inc., where richie works doing god-knows-what genius shit, and where seth sometimes picks up extra work as venganza’s personal bodyguard. he hates these kinds of parties, and kate hates him just enough that he feels safe asking her, hoping that she’ll be hostile enough that they’ll be able to leave early and forget about it. he definitely wasn’t planning on having a good time.
6. you’ve got a hold over me (title from skipping stones by mutual benefit), a bellarke au that follows the development of their relationship from when they meet in high school until they fall in love as adults. this one never got very far, but it was gonna be good. in one chapter, clarke was gonna have a pretty awful time at prom and bellamy was gonna offer her a dance on his back deck at octavia’s afterparty. 😏
7. stupid fucking bellarke thing i hate myself goddamnit (yes, that was the working title), an arranged marriage au in which bellamy was a grounder and clarke was from the ark and in order to bring peace to the clans they are pushed into an arranged marriage.
i’m gonna stop there... there were more, but tbh they were so old i didn’t remember any of them and would have to reopen them to see what they are and like i’m already not gonna finish MOST of these so why torture myself (me @ me: sucks to suck bitch)
tagging @dearericbittle, @nontoxic-writes, @hiyasdoodles, @norationalthoughtrequired, @ninabinaaa, and anyone else who wants to play :)

octavia blake & tattoos ; all american universe.
1.  octavia’s very first tattoo means the most to her and, when traced by her big brother can even have a calming effect on her. as a way to celebrate being reunited the siblings got a greek mythology symbol representing apollo and artemis. while bellamy’s ink is on his right wrist, octavia’s is on the left wrist. —  the quick backstory behind the symbol; apollo represents the sun in greek mythology where as artemis represents the moon. they are twins & are both archers; therefore, the symbol pretty much sums it up.
2.  her second tattoo is a half butterfly – half skull tattoo. she got it at sixteen, and it’s located just above her left hip bone. octavia’s felt a strong tie to the biker community ever since she was little and her father was leader of a motorcycle gang, she’s even gone as far as telling bellamy that she would wear a cut just like him and their father once had. but that’s why underneath the darker-styled ink, it reads biker born.
3. octavia’s third tattoo is probably her favourite and one that means the most to her. similar to atlas holding the world, her tattoo is a curly haired man that resembles a photograph of her brother that she provided the tattoo artist with and he’s holding up the world. this tattoo can be found on the back of her right arm, just above her elbow.
4. octavia's fourth tattoo is a matching one with kassy that they got during halloween of s1. she has a ghost on the back of her left arm just above her elbow, mirroring her third tattoo.
5-9. after the shooting at the end of season one, octavia began the butterflies going up her spine on her back. all of them represent her survival. the smallest and first is for surviving her mom (it sits closest to the scar on her back from the break-in). the second is for surviving living in foster care without bellamy. the third is for surviving the near overdose in her brother's arms before he went to jail. the fourth is for surviving the break-in, and the last is for surviving the shooting.
10 & 11.  her tenth and eleventh tattoos were done as rewards to herself. they mean a lot to her. even if they seem silly to others. her tenth tattoo is the little sun behind her left ear & she got it in s2 in december after being sober for three months. her eleventh tattoo is the moon behind her right ear which she rewarded herself with after being sober for six month in march, just before nick's kidnapping.

The 100 Braindump Part 2
When we first see her in season 3, she is still haunted by Mount Weather and is still running. She was forced to confront everything she'd been running from when Lexa kidnapped her, and she chose to join the coalition. With that, Clarke made it clear that she could never turn her back on her people and that she would always be looking out for them. So, in season 3, she was consistent with her development in season 2. She still hasn't made peace with what she did and how that changed her. Now, she chose to stay in Polis for many reasons, and I'm not going to get into that. But, by choosing to stay in Polis, she is able to have space to heal while also helping her people. While in Polis, Clarke was learning that she could do both. She doesn't have to let go of her goodness and kindness for people. She doesn't have to give all of herself to them. She has space in her heart and in her head to have hopes for herself and for them. That was the main arc of her character in Polis. Healing. Lexa, by offering understanding, respecting her boundaries, and reaffirming her goodness while also establishing her own boundaries, helped with this greatly. Even when Clarke was misguided, Lexa never judged her; she pointed out the flaws in Clarke's judgment and then gave her the space Clarke needed to make her own decision. They were the best example of partnership and sharing burdens in the series. They were truly equals. While in Polis, Clarke let herself hope for a world where they knew lasting peace. But then Pike happened. He, with Bellamy's support, massacred an army sent to protect them, which has to go down as the stupidest decision ever made in this show. This could have ruined the peace Lexa and Clarke tried to establish. The only reason it didn't was because Clarke was able to convince Lexa not to go to war (Lexa's decision wasn't only because she loved Clarke; she's always been a peacemaker; Clarke's support only helped encourage her). So, despite everything, Clarke and Lexa were still able to strive for a world where peace prevailed over violence because they had each other. Even when Clarke was convinced by Octavia to go back to Arkadia (that scene was so dumb. Did Octavia not realize that the only reason Skaikru isn't dead is because Clarke was in Polis and because of how generous Lexa was being?), she still had hope for more even if it was shallow hope, "Maybe one day, you and I will owe nothing more to our people." And then Lexa died, and Clarke's arc changed from being about healing to another tragedy. Every single step Clarke had taken to heal was erased. So Clarke was arguably in a worse state than before. Single-minded in trying to save her people while pushing down her grief, letting everyone walk all over her while she offered forgiveness(Bellamy) and apologies(Jasper, literally everybody), all so everyone could stay on mission. Season 3b was tragic for Clarke's character, and the writers made some choices that undermined her, but in general, it wasn't bad. Her reaction to Lexa's death was believable, and I truly do think that Clarke had to get worse in order to get better( they just never gave her the opportunity to get better). What I do think was mishandled was Bellamy and Clarke. There is no way you can convince me that Clarke Griffin, who hated her best friend for a year because she thought he betrayed her, resented her mother for a month for the same reason, and hated Lexa for months after the betrayal at Mount Weather would forgive Bellamy as instantly as she did. It took Lexa accepting Skaikru to the coalition, swearing fealty to Clarke, fighting in a dual to her death, and showing Clarke her remorse not through her words but through her actions for Clarke to forgive her. (And what Bellamy did was worse than what Lexa did; he directly killed 300 people. Guess who didn't.) But I'm supposed to believe that she'd forgive Bellamy instantly. Even though he threatened to destroy everything Clarke had been working to create.

So, in editing this stupidly long — 08:56, to be specific — Sera and Manu vid that’s set across the multitimelineverse, I’ve been getting a few more concrete ideas from the footage I’ve maniped together for my current verses, including the convoluted, but dearly beloved (to me), Destroyer of Worlds, which is essentially an AU of an AU, following on from A Quality of Mercy with Admiral Pike making the terrible decision™ to wake Khan after encountering the Botony Bay instead of Captain Kirk, hoping he will join their cause, which… he does, except it offsets an even darker timeline that was never supposed to exist.
From there I’ve basically cannibalised a bunch of “Bad Future” bits and bobs across various Trek and a few other sources with a dash of inspiration from the Mirror Universe as well. But all of that is a TL;DR post for another time.
Anyway, back to Sera and Manu, I was trying to figure out where to put their first meeting and incorporate him into the verse in general — Sera I already solidly have a complete arc for. And now I’m inclined to have it occur after she’s exiled by La’an after their biggest bust up yet (the girlies will stop fighting eventually, but La’an at this point is still forever salty about alt!Kirk with no interest in amends) from the ISS Puget Sound II.
[ Insert that Krinn quote here about pride and downfall being the natural evolution of it. ]
Sera then sarcastic Vulcan salutes her way back onto her shuttle with the intention of going after Khan by herself (third time’s the charm, right?) but a navigational glitch puts her in Gorn space instead.
Enter Manu Noonien-Singh, AKA the planetary nursery MVP, best big brother, Gorn hunter, Lewis Tan looking fine and divine, ritual schmitual, Mr. Brawn and Brains.
He saves her from becoming lizard chow and welcomes her aboard his stolen starship the Wrath, and I figure they have a few adventures of their own together on their way back to Deep Space 19, which is Resistance HQ, since that’s literally the only “home” Sera has left, along with one of the few safe spaces in the Quadrant for non-Humans.
And that’s very much a midway point where they both then get involved on the space station with Admiral James Insane-Middle-Name Kirk, which is awkward for Sera. For. So. Many. Reasons. Even though this James is not the James she pew pew’d with an antique.
Long conversation short with myself, it’s a good solid place to establish more canon with them, and with Manu and Sera both essentially being independent there’s also the capacity for them to go off-station for missions as and when they’re needed.
And then, obviously, at some point, La’an will be back, and that’s where the aforementioned in previous musings Echo/Bellamy/Octavia style arc comes in to play, followed by eventual actual forgiveness instead of their dynamic being teeth clenched teamwork under the mutual agreement “the enemy of my enemy is my friend.”
The sparring scene from The 100 says it all for how I visualise it initially going with Octavia/La’an being like, “No, I will not forgive this murderer for something she did [X] amount of years ago, alternate timeline or not.” And Bellamy/Manu being like, “I’m not justifying it, but who she was then is not who she is now.”
Additional Manu/Sera adventures and notes include:
An encounter with the Augments who inform Khan that not one but two of his descendants are still alive… and both of them are working for the Resistance.
Introducing each other to different beverages: Manu to kali-fal and Sera to tea practice.
Hanging out in the holosuite.
Intimate exchanges of truths.
Manu being captured by the Orion Syndicate and forced into an underground fighting ring. Sera then has to get the green body paint out to infiltrate the arena to rescue him.
Manu imparting his knowledge about the Gorn to Sera, including how to interpret their light signals.
Manu learning about Romulan culture to better understand her.
Manu becoming the one person in the world that Sera trusts implicitly.
Manu thinking Sera’s ears are elegant and pretty.
Rescuing a group of refugees from a Gorn breeding planet.
Sera eventually giving Manu her true name (and heart).
Sera giving Manu a crash course in (old) Earth history, including memes and the best of Toronto cuisine, to make up for his lost youth on the breeding planet.
Sera teaching Manu how to read, write, and speak Romulan, only to be surprised by how quickly he picks it up. (What? He’s good with his tongue.)
Stopping the Serene Squall after they raid a Resistance supply ship carrying essential dilithium for the cause.
Training together and showing each other new moves from their respective fighting styles.

Bellarke- Love isn't weakness

Prev / Next Part
Chapter 17
Bellamy's P.O.V
“I was wondering if it was okay if Clarke stayed for the weekend?”
“I guess,” I say.
“Hey, I know she hurt you but she’s just not ready and trust me she likes you a lot...she’s falling for you hard she just needs time” she tells me, like I’m going to believe that.
“Right, she falling in love with me and I’m rich”
“I’m serious Bell, she is falling for you hard”
“I’ll believe it when I hear it from her”
“Fine be a jackass, I know she hurt you but you don’t realize that by you acting like this hurts her too, you can be an ass for all I care and I am going to go to bed and leave you out here to think about what you want and what you need and what you need is to get your head out of your ass” she says and storms out of the room.
Maybe she’s right, well right about me being an asshole, it did hurt when she backed off but I should be nice because she did just get out of a bad relationship. She can’t be falling for me. Come on, it's me, but I know I’m in love with her and I want to be with her even if it is for a short time.
Tumblr media
Clarke’s P.O.V
The last thing I heard Octavia say before she stormed into the room was her calling Bellamy an ass and telling him to get his head out of his ass. About 2 hours later I was still awake and Octavia started kicking me and so I went into the living room where I found Bellamy on the couch running his hand through his hair like he was stressed about something.
“Hey, you okay?” I asked him
“Yeah, what are you doing up?” he asks me back.
“Couldn’t sleep, you?”
“My mom wants to come home and it feels like my world is falling apart”
“I think it’s great that your mom wants to come home but what do you mean about your world falling apart”
“I’m just stressed and my mom is still really sick and the hospital called me and told me to come in and talk to her tomorrow”
“Well I’m sorry, and I’m sorry about yesterday, I didn’t pull away because I don’t feel something for you because I do, I just got really scared”
“I understand, yeah it hurt but you just got out of a relationship and so did I, and right now we are in high school and you don’t believe in love so, it’s fine”
“It’s not that I don’t believe in love it’s just...when Lexa died I didn’t believe what she said and then Finn hurt me then I started to believed it...so if I don’t live by it I feel like I’m letting her down” I tell him while trying not to cry.
“Who’s Lexa?” he asks while putting his hand on mine.
“You know how I said my sister said Love was weakness”
“Wait I just thought of this but if you had a sister doesn’t Murphy have 2?”
“No, well kinda but Lexa isn’t his sister, Anya is his half sister other than me. And before you ask, Kane had another child after Murphy that is not my moms, anyway Lexa was my dad’s first child and she killed herself when I was 13” I told him while not looking at him.
“Hey I’m sorry and no wonder you don’t like going home” he says.
“Yeah, the only reason I live there is because of Murphy, he’s the only one who wants me”
“I want you”
“Bell...you’re sweet but I…”
“I know but it’s true I want you and you think you're nothing when you are everything and people want you, me, Octavia, the gang, Murphy, and even your dad before he died. Just because your mom is a Bitch along with her man slut and his daughter, and even spacewalker doesn’t mean you are nothing and it doesn’t mean you are unwanted”
Before I could stop myself my lips were on his and a simple kiss turned into a passionate one very quickly, the kiss sent my bones on fire and I didn’t want to stop but I knew I had to so I pulled away. “I’m sorry, I shouldn’t have but no one has ever said something that sweet to me that is so untrue”
“You think it’s untrue really, do you want me to get everyone together and ask them because I will” he says with a pissed off face.
“No, but I feel like I’m nothing, I just think…”
“Stop it, please it breaks my heart when you say this about yourself”
“Bellamy I don’t…” he stops me by kissing me and this time I don’t pull away. We kiss for a few minutes then he pulls away.
“You are not nothing, and I’m sorry about what happened with your family and if you need to get away you always have the Blake's, okay?” he says.
“Can I move in then”
He laughs and I hug him not wanting to let go, he made me feel safe and he hugs me back, having his arms around me makes it harder for me to not jump his bones even though I have never had sex before. He just makes me want a future with him because he listens and he is so kind to me when he doesn’t have to be at all but he is.
“Why are you being so nice to me, I’m your little sister's annoying best friend” I asked him.
“You're not annoying, you are like the only one I know that I don't want to kill, and I’ve been beating myself up for falling for my little sister’s best friend” he says.
“You didn’t answer my question, why are you being so nice to me”
“Because I can”
“That’s not an answer”
“Yes it is because I said so”
“Really?” I ask with a sarcastic look on my face.
“Yes,” he says with a smile.
“I’m sorry about your mom”
“It’s fine, but I told her about you and she said that she remembers you and that you would be a perfect match for me”
“I hate to disappoint her”
“I have to see her tomorrow do you want to come with me, and yes Lincoln will be here tomorrow with O”
“In that case I would love to come”
We laugh about how much we hate it when Octavia is with Lincoln and how much we either want to kill them or ourselves. We talked for 2 and a half hours and when I looked at the time it was 3:30 in the morning, I can’t believe I have been talking to Bellamy Blake for 2 and a half hours straight, and I love talking to him, I also feel like I’m more best friends with him instead of O.
“We should get to bed, it’s 3:30am, and doesn’t it feel like we are closer friends than me and Octavia?” I asked him.
“Sometimes, but don’t tell Octavia about that,” he says. “And your right we should get to bed, goodnight Princess”
“Goodnight Bell”
He goes to his room and I fall asleep on the couch and when I woke up Bellamy was in the kitchen making food. It was 11:30am and I can’t believe he is up and making food for me and Octavia, he is so amazing and it’s really hard to just be friends with him.

Gabriel Santiago has figured out a way to save Earth from ever having been destroyed in the first place. All it will take is for Bellamy and Clarke to use the Stone to travel back to 21st-century Earth. Unfortunately, this might involve some danger for all the Ark and Grounder survivors, and besides, Bellamy has some personal issues to take care of before he can go off on a mission with Clarke.
But then… the mission turns out to be not as straightforward as they’d thought. Not to mention the problem of both Bellamy and Clarke trying to save the world while also navigating their own unacknowledged feelings for one another.

Baby Jitters- Bellamy Blake Imagine
Tumblr media
Request: Anonymous: Hi lovely! Can you do a Bellamy x reader where the reader is pregnant and he’s super protective over them. And maybe they go into labor/ delivery of the baby? Wondering what Bellamy would be like in the situation. If not totally ok!
A/N: One this request is literally a year old and I am so sorry for the long loooong wait anon. Thank you for waiting this damn long and being patient with me
Two this is set around any time from S1-S4 take your pick, bc as far as I'm concerned S7 doesn't even exist and 5 and 6 at least have enough of a period of peace that he wouldn't be overprotective until the kid is a few years old yk?
Warnings: None
To say your boyfriend was protective of you was an understatement to say the least. He has already lost so much to the war he couldn't let anything happen to you, he couldn't. Of course that isn’t to say his protectiveness didn’t have it’s perks it absolutely did, he saved your ass more than you could count. It’s just sometimes it felt like he went overboard, and it was in those times you ended up saving his ass.
One day when you starting puking a little non stop, his worry naturally flared up, he had assumed you were just sick, but he needed to know just how bad it was. He needed to know how long he was going to be taking care of you and that you would be okay.
To get to the bottom of things he took you to Abby, and that's how you found out you were pregnant. That news pricked up Bellamy's ears real quick, while he always did want to be a dad one day - considering he basically was one to Octavia and some of The 100- he was hoping it'd be when the fighting was over and done with.
It almost made him feel guilty, like how could he bring a child into the world like this, but he shook that thought out of his mind despite being absolutely terrified he was going to keep you as safe as he could.
Of course over the months he was so helpful during your pregnancy, but the further along you got the less you got to do around camp. This only made you feel kind of useless even of everyone understood your abilities were limited. While everyone easily understood you hater feeling like a roadblock that was just dragged along, with everyone else’s top priority keeping you and the baby safe.
You were currently in you and Bellamy’s shared room, barely even able to put on your shoes due to your size at this point. The baby was going to come at any minute now and it showed.
You had been holed up here for the past few days because of it and were getting a little cabin fever. You were going to go out and ask Bellamy if you could just go for a short walk around camp when you felt it. A quick and immense pain, your water had just broken.
Not knowing where your boyfriend was you scrambled for your com and just talked to whoever was the first to pick up.
“Hello?!”
“Y/N what's going on? Are you okay?!” you hear Raven’s voice question from the other end.
“Raven I’ve just gone into labor get Bellamy and tell him to get here now!”
You hear her shout for him and explain the situation, then hear him run out of the room. Not even two minutes later does he come bursting through the door.
“We have to get you to Abby, but she’s on the other side of camp. You’ll never make it like this we’re going to have to take the rover,” he explain.
“Don’t care. Just get me to her now,” you order with a groan.
He helps you into the rover and quickly burns rubber to get to the medical tent on the other end of camp.
“Abby?” Bellamy shouts.
She emerges from the corner, her eyes widening as she sees the two of you.
“Y/N’s in labor. The baby is coming”
Abby has Jackson take you to the proper area, then fetch the supplies as she puts on gloves.
“Okay I’m gonna need to to start breathing Honey, just like we practiced,” Abby instructs.
Bellamy is planted in the seat next to your bed his leg going a million miles a minute. All the thoughts he’s had these past few months of doubts and fears and excitement all push to the front of his mind at once.
“Bell ugh,” you groan.
“Bell you have the easy part here, all you’ve got to do is love our kid, and you have such a big heart it’ll be a piece of cake for you,” you reassure.
While it does help him, with his thoughts everywhere he just wants you to be okay and seeing you in pain -even for what’ll be a wonderful outcome- just made his anxiety rise. After a bit you ask Jackson to take over for you in reassuring him and despite the words not coming from you it does help a little.
“You’re going to have to push on my count now,” Abby informs.
4 pain inducing and Bellamy anxiety reducing hours later, you give birth to a healthy baby boy, but the pain doesn’t stop making you confused.
“Another one is coming, you’re going to have to get ready to push again,” Abby says.
“What?” the two of you question at the same time.
“How?”
“Sometimes twins are so close together that it’s hard to see both,” she explains.
15 minutes of pushing later and a healthy baby girl comes into the world.
After they were cleaned off, you were holding both of your beautiful babies in your arms. Both had Bellamy’s freckles peppered across their adorable little noses, making you smile.
“Did you have any set names?” Jackson questions.
“The boy we’re naming after my father and the girl we’re naming after Bellamy’s mom. We discussed names for one or the other a while back not expecting to have both,” you tell him.
Shortly all of the remaining 100 pile in to get a look at the twins. Octavia lights up at her niece and nephew's little faces, it was so sweet to see her all ready to be an aunt.
After a bit more talk with your friends you really wanted to drift off for some much needed rest, Bellamy could see how drained you were and promised to look after the twins while you were out.  Today was the best day of your and you weren’t sure it could ever be topped.
You fell asleep with a smile on your face as the man you loved more than anything entertained your bundles of joy.

The world hurts less when I'm by your side
Alternate Universe - Modern Setting/ Hurt/Comfort/ Angst/ Fluff/ Group Therapy/ Mental Health Issues/ Implied/Referenced Suicide/ Military/ doctor!clarke/ army veteran!bellamy/ Amputation/ Friends to Lovers
Bellamy and Clarke are forced to go to group meetings once a week so they can work on their mental health. He's an ex-soldier who lost a leg and is dealing with the reality of being back home, she's a girl with too much grief on her hands, desperation, anxiety and the inability to fall asleep after she lost her girlfriend to a car accident she feels responsible for. They come together at the weirdest of places-in an old dusty church listening to everyone else's stories and never sharing their own except with each other.
Bellamy gripped his cane and tried to stretch his leg out in the small space that his truck offered because it was starting to feel numb again and he knew if he didn’t move it at least a little bit, Octavia would have to come out with him and help him inside the building, which was the last thing he wanted.
He groaned grustrated when he rubbed his knee and tried to get some of the blood pressure back but the movement alone made his head feel a little dizzy and his heart beat out of his chest loudly-it seemed that every little movement, even the barest of sitting ups, would send him into a hole he couldn’t get out of.
“Maybe you should start thinking of home care.” his sister voiced her concern for the third time since he got in the car and he groaned again as he felt his back hit the seat while he closed his eyes trying to chase off the darkness.
“Octavia-”
“I’m just saying-” she tried lightly but he could feel the strain in her voice, always saw the worry in her eyes.
This wasn’t supposed to be happening, yet she insisted he got to those group meetings once a week and she made sure to personally escort him since she figured, he skipped them otherwise.
There was also the issue that she pre-paid for them without asking if he wanted to go in the first place.
He blinked rapidly and dared to peak at the driver’s seat noticing that while she was focused on the road, she kept throwing worried looks his way and he gripped his cane again, only this time out of anger more than because he needed something to ground him.
“You should be home-” he voiced his own worries even if he keeps his voice calm and collected as always.
She used to say this was his military voice but he likes to think it’s just his grown up one that he has been using at her since he was still a kid who had to raise another kid because their mom worked three jobs to support them
“-with Lincoln and Zach.”
This has been her idea and the only reason he agreed to it was because he had the stupidity to say yes when he was quite drunk one night and because she refused to let it go.
Ever since he came back home seven months ago, all broken and half alive, barely the man he was before, his sister has been insisting on it.She couldn't handle being around him much but she thought this is how she could fix things.
He had to almost force a fight between them one night to make her go back to her husband and three year old son instead of yelling about group therapy or helping him take his prosthetic off or giving him his heart medication or putting wet cloths on his forehead when he had a fever which was every other night.
Surprisingly, she hadn't fought him on it as hard as he thought she would but then again he knew she had a hard time handling him anyway.
He refused to make her a slave to an invalid who missed one leg from a little above the knee and had only one barely functioning one that hurt all the time in addition to his bad back that caught shrapnel and made him hurt all the time, numbing his arm or legs at least twice a day.
He didn’t want her to have to deal with PT, doctor’s appointments or medical insurances.
Or even worse-going to vet centers and just begging for the barest minimum of medical attention and drugs so he could keep on living.
He didn’t want her to worry about his small pension that barely covered all the expenses because he got a small compensation from the Army after the accident which he knew would last him for a bit and he didn’t want her to hover around him all the time waiting to catch him if he fell.
He was content with living his sad and sorry miserable life until he hopefully died out of what would it be? Heart attack?
He already had one back in the hosptal after their transported him stateside for his five surgeries that they weren’t sure he’d survive.
Or maybe he’d get a brain aneurisum like his friend Murphy, who died on the way to the field hospital even when Bellamy desperately fought to save him with his leg already blown up, killing him instantly.
Or maybe he’d fall down the stairs and break his neck because his legs would refuse to cooperate with him on a bad day.
It was grim, but it was reality.

Do you still post about The 100? I'm one who has read the books so watching the way they treated Bellamy as well as Bob pissed me off it also didn't make any sense reminded me of how Lincoln and the actor who played him was treated I don't know if I'm the only one who feels that way or not of course I shipped Bellarke and seeing how Jason also baited and trolled the fans I don't like it I think he even said in a interview once that they'll get there with their relationship obviously that was
a lie but seeing their relationship every season you can see how it was getting there only to be ripped away from us I thought at least by the end of season 6 something would happen between them but nope then maybe season 7? Sadly we got nothing and if that doesn't make it bad what's worse is Bellamy's death was basically excused like he deserved it even though later on he was right. Another thing though is the way he acted in the later half of season 7 is nothing like him.
+++
I do still post about The 100, but much more rarely. I'm not obsessed anymore and I'm still a bit pissed about how they ended it, how they treated Bellamy and how they treated Clarke.
I'm mad at JR. Long ago, when he screwed over Ricky, I didn't want to judge because, well, I didn't have enough information to judge. But as JR repeated his behavior with Bob, it turns out that the fans that hated him were correct. He was an asshole. I mean, he's a hollywood director so I assumed he was, as it's like a professional requirement or something, but he was an asshole in service of his ego instead of an asshole in service of his story. So they were absolutely right.
And he DID say Bellarke would get there eventually but it was a long journey. He also had Bob and Eliza act as if they were in love. And he wrote a story with that love at the center-- whether it was consummated or not.
It was NOT a lie. That was the story he was telling. But something kept him from declaring it within the narrative every time. We don't know what it was. Was he afraid of the Moonlighting curse? (where the two love interests lost their chemistry once they consummated? of course those actors HATED each other while Bellarke's actors married each other.) Was he waiting for the BEST moment, and then waited too long? Was he truly just screwing with the Bellarke fans? Did he RESENT the bellarke fans? (they were harassing him so my money is on this. it was revenge.) Did he get angry at Bob for betraying him and taking care of himself? IDK maybe. Seems like. Also I read something anon from people on set, and apparently JR essentially dropped The 100 in anticipation of his NEW series. He sold out his current show so that he could get picked up. And he had plenty of opportunities for Bellarke romance, and chose, each time, not to go there.
I hated how he erased Bellamy from the story and then whitewashed every character who loved him in order to erase his importance. It didn't just affect Bellamy, who was unrecognizable. It also affected Echo, who no longer had a purpose in the narrative, and Octavia, whose very identity was built on Bellamy's love for her, and of course Clarke, who was the head to his heart, and without that heart, she just became.... well, literally crazy.
So disrespectful to the main character. But then that is what happens when someone erases the second protagonist.
...
This is why I don't talk about The 100 anymore. Because every time I do, it devolves into me ranting about how season 7 betrayed the story and characters and became some other kind of show in which the evil cultist is the hero and the rebels who are trying to make a better world are not worthy of heaven. Which is exactly the OPPOSITE of the first 6 years and instead, plays into trumpism and fascism and all the current political bullshit, and that's just too damn coincidental for me. JR sold out and it's all his fault. I will never watch that new show. He betrayed the story and his audience, and lost our trust. And that isn't about bellarke being denied, it's about story for me. Bellarke WAS a love story whether it was consummated or not. All those near misses means that was the story. But he didn't even give us the TRAGIC love story he could have, because he was a dick.

So nerdClarke and popular!Lexa are in their 20’s on a date night, how would that go? Miss those two!
Depends on the date night and who has planned it...
;;
Sometimes Lexa looks at Clarke as they lay in bed together and she tries to piece together the puzzle of their relationship. She can track the timeline if she tries hard enough--(though she can't really recall a time that she wasn't completely enamoured with the woman next to her)--and she knows there isn't anywhere on Earth she wants to be. She thinks, sometimes, about what would have happened if Clarke hadn't wanted her back; if she was actually in love with Bellamy or if she just didn't like girls. Or worse, if she did like girls but she didn't like Lexa. She tries to not linger on that too long. Clarke reminds her often that she loves her and she wants her and who is Lexa to question the most intelligent woman she's ever met?
They have a day for just themselves every Sunday. It's a day where they plan something with each other that doesn't include friends or family or work. They take turns in planning what to do; sometimes it's dinner at a restaurant or sometimes Clarke will cook at home--naked save for an apron--and Lexa will run a bath and light so many candles that Clarke worries for their safety.
Sometimes the work week has been too hard and too draining and they stay in bed all day reading, the television on a low level in the background, and they don't speak because they don't have to and sometimes they just need to be quiet.
Lexa likes luxury so when she plans date nights she likes to go all out. Nice dresses, full make-up, and she asks Anya to try and get her a table at the nicest restaurants. Lexa enjoys surprising Clarke; she'll turn up at work with a dozen of her favourite flowers and some cheesy handwritten invite to a surprise date night on a Wednesday instead of a Sunday. Lexa wants Clarke to feel like she's the most important person in the world because, honestly, she's the only person in Lexa's world.
But...
Clarke doesn't really enjoy attention.
Lexa learns that very quickly on their anniversary. She had promised that it would be low-key but Octavia and Lincoln had gotten into her head that it needed to be big and so she made it big -- a huge party with friends and family and a DJ that wanted to fuck Anya. She rented out an entire balcony of a bar and spent most of her savings on decorations and catering and a necklace for Clarke.
(And Clarke had loved it, of course. The thought at least. The planning and execution and determination from Lexa.)
But there was so many people and so much attention and too much noise and Clarke had spent the majority of the night with her mom, trying not to panic.
So Lexa adjusts.
She always checks in with Clarke now and the surprises are a little more low-key but date nights are always, always, on the agenda.
;;
Clarke on the other hand fucking loves couple things.
She'll plan nights with wine and easels; spa days with an overnight stay in a hotel; wine tasting and pasta making. She fucking THRIVES on that stuff; on watching Lexa get messy and tipsy and laugh like nobody is paying attention.
For years she watched Lexa try and be somebody. And for years she encouraged whatever Lexa wanted. But she wants everyone to see the Lexa she sees; the soft one who was too scared to ask her on a date, the Lexa who turned up to a Mathlete competition with no reason for doing it, the Lexa who has more confidence than anyone she has ever met but still holds Clarke's hand in new places.
And so Clarke plans things that Lexa may have been too embarrassed to do as a teenager; like couple activities and doing a line-dancing lesson because it's funny.
Clarke has always known that Lexa is tense and forever waiting for the other shoe to drop (likes she's waiting for Clarke to figure out that she just doesn't want her anymore) and she knows she didn't help that tension when they broke up in college. So a lot of Clarke's dates stem from wanting Lexa to see how much Clarke loves spending time with her and how much she wants to be around her, like, all the fucking time.
BIG FAN of these two and their absolutely disgusting love affair.
Big fan.

His Girl - Three
When Violet woke up on her first morning down on the ground she felt the familiar strong, muscular arms wrapped around her. When she opened her eyes all she saw was the bare chest she had been using as her pillow all night. She smiled to herself and cuddled even closer to him wanting to enjoy the feeling as long as she could.
Unfortunately it didn't last long as the loud voices outside of the drop ship woke up her boyfriend.
"Morning angel," were the first words he spoke. He look in the direction of the voices, "The hell is happening out there?" Bellamy stood up bringing Violet up with him. He kissed her cheek and looked at her as he said "Meet me out there once you gotten dressed gorgeous, can't let anyone see what's mine," his eyes glancing down at her cleavage that was on display due to the fact that she was only in a bra.
"But you're going out there, showing your abs off to all the girls who have been drooling over you since we got here," Violet said as she raised an eyebrow. "Doesn't seem fair to me," she added.
Bellamy leaned down to her level, slowly moving his head to her neck. He left a few open mouthed kisses down the column of her throat, making her knees go weak. As he lifted his head he whispered in her ear, "I'm all yours angel." With that he exited the ship leaving Violet with her heart beating rapidly as she tried to catch her breath.
✶✶✶
When Violet exited the drop ship she saw Bellamy taunting Wells once again. She rolled her eyes as she heard him say "You still don't get it do you chancellor?" She kissed him before walking off, feeling his eyes on her ass as she went.
"This is home now," Bellamy said. "Your fathers rules no longer apply." He walked over and snatched one of the shirts, making Wells lung forward to get it. Adam held him back before Bellamy stopped him. "Oh, no, no, Atom. Atom, hold up." He looked back at wells teasing him by dangling the shirt in front of him, "You want it back, take it." He smirked proud of himself, waiting for the other boys reaction.
Frustrated, Wells drops the pile of clothes cause a many of the teenagers to run and try to grab some. "Is this what you want? Chaos?"
"What's wrong with a little chaos?" Bellamy threw his shirt on before they all heard a loud scream. Both of the boys rushed over to see what was going on.
✶✶✶
Murphy was holding a girl over the fire, speaking up when he saw everyone head over. "Bellamy! Check it out. We want the Ark to think that the ground is killing us, right?  Figure it'll look better if we suffer a little bit first."
"Let her go!" Wells shouted, pushing Murphy to the ground. He looked at Bellamy, "You can stop this."
"Stop this?" he smirked, "I'm just getting started." Violet glared at him as Murphy jumped back up. attacking Wells.
"Bell this isn't okay, you can't let people get hurt just because you're on some power trip," she scolded shaking her head in disapproval. She went forward to stop the fight but was pulled back into a hard chest.
"Please stay out of this angel, I know what I'm doing." Bellamy whispered in her ear as he held her tighter to his chest.
Kids were cheering the fight on and all Violet could do was watch as she struggled to get out of her boyfriends tight grip. Wells had gotten the upper hand and had Murphy on the ground again as he turned back to Bellamy.
"Don't you see you can't control this."
Bellamy and Violet watched as Murphy got back up, this time with a knife. "You're dead."
"Wait!" Bellamy held his hand up. Violet let out a sigh of relief. That relief was short lived as Bellamy threw Wells a knife and said "Fair fight." And again, she was being held back from trying to help. Once again the boys squared up ready to fight each other. "This is for my father!" Murphy shouted as he went to cut Wells a second time. However, Wells was able to grab a hold of him, turning him around and holding his knife to Murphy's throat. "Drop it!" He shouted.
All of a sudden a voice sounded from the distance. "Wells! Let him go!" the princess demanded.
After Wells had thrown Murphy forward once more, he was about to get jumped again by said boy. Luckily this time Bellamy stopped him. "Enough, Murphy."
He and Violet rushed over to Octavia who was being supported by Monty. "Octavia are you all right?" Bellamy asked her, panicked. "Yeah," she said as she held onto him.
"Where's the food?" he questioned the other members of the group that went on the hike to Mount Weather.
"We didn't make it to Mount Weather."
"What the hell happened out there?"
"We were attacked!"
"Attacked? By what?"
"Not what. Who." "Turns out, when the last man from the ground died on the Ark, he wasn't the last grounder."
"Its true. Everything we thought we knew about the ground is wrong. There are people here, survivors." People started murmuring to each other as Clarke continued, "The good news is that means we can survive. Radiation won't kill us."
"Yeah, bad news is the grounders will."
Noticing someone missing, Wells spoke up. "Where's the kid with the goggles?"
Clarke looked at him. "Jasper was hit." "They took him." She looked down noticing something. "Wheres your wristband?" She questioned.
He looked at Bellamy and nodded at him as he said "Ask him."
Violet looked at Bellamy in disbelief. "Bellamy what did you do?" He looked at her, not answering. He didn't want her to know what he had done. What he had forced Wells to do. Her opinion of him mattered so much to him. But in order to protect the two people he loves most in this world, he has to do things like this.
"How many," Clarke asked very obvious pissed off.
"Twenty four and counting," Murphy answered her with a smirk.
Clarke shook her head in disapproval, "You idiots. Life support on the Ark is failing. That's why they brought us down here. They need to know the ground is survivable again, and we need their help against whoever is out there. If you take off your wristbands, you're not just killing them. Your're killing us."
Bellamy stepped forward. "We're stronger than you think. Don't listen to her. She's one of the privileged! If they come down, she'll have it good. How many of you can say the same? We can take care of ourselves. That wristband on your arm? It makes you a prisoner. We are not prisoners any more! They say they'll forgive your crimes, I say you're not criminals! You're fighters! Survivors! The grounders should worry about us!" His speech was met with many 'yeahs' from the crowd.
Bellamy's speech only made Violets insecurities go up. I'm privileged, maybe that's why he won't listen to me, she thought.
As Clarke and and Wells walked away, Bellamy made his way to his girls. When he saw the look on Violets face, he grew worried. "What's wrong angel?" She just shook her head and went to get something to clean up Octavia's leg with.
✶✶✶
Violet was crouched down in front of Octavia, cleaning her wound as Bellamy was standing above both of them. "What the hell was it," he asked O.
"I don't know, the others said it looked like a giant snake." Her words making Violet grimace.
"You could have been killed," Bellamy scolded.
"She would have been if Jasper didn't jump in to pull her out." Clarke's voice sounded from behind the three.
"You guys leaving? I'm coming too." Octavia went to stand up only to be pushed back down by her brother.,
"No, no. No way, not again."
"He's right. you're leg's just going to slow us down. I'm here for you." the blonde said looking at Bellamy.
"Clarke what are you doing?"
"Clarke what are you doing," Violet repeated the boys words.
"I heard you have a gun" Bellamy lifted up his shirt showing proof. Violet may or may not have checked him out while he did it. "Good, follow me."
"And why would I do that?"
Clarke turned back, "Because you want them to follow you, and right now they're thinking only one of us is scared." With that, she walked off.
Violet tried to discreetly follow after the blonde, failing miserably as her boyfriend noticed her escape attempt immediately, grabbing her arm. "And where do you think you're going?"
"I'm going to go help them find Jasper."
"No way in hell"
"Bellamy"
"No" he tightened his grip on her arm.
"Just because we're dating doesn't mean you can control me," Violet told him. She was fed up with him acting like he could order her around.
"You want to bet on that angel?" Bellamy raised his eyebrow at his girl. Daring her to keep arguing with him.
"I'm going Bellamy. With, or without you." Violet managed to get her arm free and ran to catch up with Clarke and Wells. Bellamy growled lowly, angry and honestly turned on by his girlfriends little act of defiance.
"Murphy. Come with me." "Atom? My sister doesn't leave this camp. Is that clear?"
"I don't need a babysitter"
"Anybody touches her, they answer to me" "Lets go"
✶✶✶
"Angel wait up," Bellamy yelled. Violet rolled her eyes but stopped, waiting for the two boy to catch up. "You stay in my sight at all times"
"Whatever Bell"
"I mean it Violet"
"Okay, I get it. Let's just go find Jasper."
Murphy directed his question at Bellamy, "Since when are we in the rescuing business?"
"The Ark thinks the prince is dead. Once they think the princess is too, they'll never come down." "I'm getting that wristband, even if I have to cut off her hand to do it."
"And what about your pretty little angel here, she is Kane's daughter." Murphy looked over at Violet smirking and then winking at her.
"Come near me and I'll castrate you," Violet spoke trying to sound as intimidating as possible.
"My pretty little Angel will hopefully choose to take of her wristband soon," Bellamy said looking at her.
"My dad's up there Bell, I don't want him to think I'm dead." Violet said as she stared back at him with her big doe eyes. Bellamy nodded understandingly, pulling her close to him and kissing her cheek as the three walked together in search of the boy with the goggles.
Much more Violet/Bellamy interaction in this part! Hopefully I'll get a chapter or two posted everyday.
