Warning: M/f/f, polyamorous relationship, breeding kink, degrading and praise kink, unplanned pregnancy, Fluff, oral sex (Fem receiving) spanking, hair pulling, creampie, cum eating, Elvis is free, unprotected sex, age gap(the reader is 19, Elvis is 32, and Priscilla is 22), Augst. Sex scene ahead, skip it if it makes you uncomfortable.
"Yes," Priscilla moans, back against the backboard of the black and gold-themed king-size bed, legs spread as you drag your tongue between her folds, finger deep in her pussy and twisting your waist as you fingering her.
Elvis's hips smacked into your already bruised ass as he traced kisses along your spine, your chest against the mattress, and your ass in the air. "G-good?" Priscilla asked, a moan slipping out as you swirled your tongue around her clit.
"Fuckin' wonderful, such a slut, letting me use her" Elvis grunted, cock drilling in you faster as he slaps your ass, making you yelp and moan into Priscilla's cunt. Her fingers tagging at your hair, gently, not wanting to hurt you.
"Want her pregnant, fill her with cum." Elvis groaned, pussy drunk. Priscilla watches her husband lose himself in the pleasure of you, his gaze on where you and he are connected before he looks at her.
"Yea?" Priscilla whined out, as a harsh suck comes to her clit.
Elvis takes his hands off your hips, put them by where your chest is on the bed and straightens his legs like a pushup position, and uses the strength in said legs to pound downwards into your pussy, heavy balls smack hard on your clit, the pain brings a pleasure you've come love. You fight to keep your ass in the air as he does this, uncontrollable moans and squeals leave your mouth, and into Priscilla's pussy, you thrust your finger into her faster hitting her G-spot and tongue lapping at her folds.
"Kiss me," Elvis pants out to Priscilla, close to busting inside of you but he won't cum, not until you and Cilla do. She leans closer to Elvis and pulls him into a kiss full of tongue, her hips bucking against your tongue, and Elvis pounding not letting up once. You rip your finger from her, leaving her empty but not for long, you stick your tongue as far as you can reach and swirls it around her walls, nose rubbing against her clit. Finally, she comes, covering your tongue and chin.
"Fuck!" Priscilla gasped after she comes down from her high and with a sharp roll of Elvis's hips, the knot inside you snaps, your cum coats his cock, the overwhelming feeling of your pussy clamping down on him finally pushes him over the break of pure pleasure ans his warm cum fills you so much a ring of yours and his cum wraps around his cock.
"Such a good girl, our pretty girl" Elvis said after he caught his breath, slowly pulling out causing a bit of his seed to drip out of your beat up pussy.
Priscilla hums in agreement as she strokes your hair, a loving smile on her face as she watches you gather your strength after such a harsh pounding. "I need a shower," You say as you hop off the bed to shower first, almost falling before getting your footing, chuckles and giggles sound from behind you as you enter the bathroom and close the door.
"Ya really like her?" Elvis questioned Priscilla, getting off the bed and walking to get a change of sheet from the dresser "I do." She answered as she starts to take off the bed blankets, pillows, and sheets.
It's been a whole month since she caught you both and well, she liked what she saw, you were beautiful and had a beautiful personality, sure you could be a smart ass and sassy but you were also sweet, kind, and loving, it was impossible not to love or like you, even Lisa Marie took to you as soon as she met you, and she was starting to see you as a second mother.
"I want ask her to move in" Elvis suddenly said helping to change the sheets, bringing Priscilla out of her thoughts. A part of her loved the idea but want would you think? Is it too soon? But then again Elvis has been dating you for 4 months now. " I don't know honey," she tailed off, she didn't want to scare you off, she was starting to like-love you.
And she knew Elvis already loved you, and they couldn't lose you. "Just really think about it ok? " She continued, Elvis hummed and nodded his head. Finally, they finished making the bed, and just in time you come out with a towel around you, and a smile still on your face. "Nice shower little darlin'?" Elvis asked, as you walk to him, you just nod before bringing him in a sweet but short kiss.
"Can I use one of your PJs?" You ask sweetly, "Sure baby." Elvis gives your ass one last hard smack for the night, a yelp makes it past your lips and you stop to look at him with a pouty look on your face before strolling into the walk-in closet to seek your favorite of his PJs.
.......
Priscilla steps out of the large bathroom, her body calling to her to sleep. She closes the door and turns to see you and Elvis fast asleep under the covers.
she must of taking too long after her shower, being the last to take one. The sight truly warms her heart. Elvis is on his back, you're snuggled into his right side, head on his chest and his arm is around you. She puts on a nightie to join you two. She moves under the cover, and into Elvis's left.
'Please let it stay like this forever,'. Priscilla thinks to herself as sleep overcomes her.
.......
Your eyes shot open as a wave of nausea flows over you, and you scurry out of bed trying you're best to be quiet. You reach the toilet just in time. You throw up the dinner you had the night before eventually, you had empty anything in your stomach you shakily got up to use your toothbrush, why not have one at Graceland because you were here most of the time.
This has been happening every morning without fail, you had a theory as to why this is happening, and today you have to make sure about it, exiting the restroom and getting a pen and paper from the nightstand drawer 'My loves, I'm sorry to have left without saying goodbye but something happened. family emergency. I'll see you two soon. Love your pretty girl, (y/n).
You laid down the pen on the paper before finding your clothes, putting them on, and putting Elvis Pj you used in the laundry basket before making your way down the stairs, and out the door. Your car keys were in hand as you walked to the car Elvis had brought for you, the morning light shines bright on your pretty (f/c) Cadillac. Getting in you start to drive to your apartment but not before stopping at a drugstore to grab a few things.
You finally made it to your destination. You parked your ride in the resigned parking lot, locking the car as you get out and walked up the walkway to your apartment door. Thoughts race inside your head while you step into your cheap home and immediately head to the small restroom. The bag from the drugstore In hand.
Turning on the light, You take a deep breath "You can do it." you whispered to yourself as you take the pregnancy tests, 4 tests to be exact out of the said bag. You do your business and wait for the results.
You fidget with the hem of your flowy dress skirt as you sit on your couch and wait for the timer you use to cook and bake to go off for the 5 minutes like the directions on a box said. The timer went off giving you a mini heart attack you put a hand to your heart before, rushing to turn off the timer and check the tests.
You paused at the door frame before stepping into the bathroom and it was like time stopped as you looked down at the tests that changed your life forever. All of them were "Positive" you stammered into the unbearable silence and the thoughts you tried so hard to push at the back of your mind, hits you like a train.
'What I'm going to do?'
'I'm only 19, yes I've wanted to be a mother but not this young, and not only that I'm pregnant with a married man'
'What would Priscilla think? What about Elvis? Will he hate me when he finds out?' Will she?'
You didn't even realize you were crying until you watch a teardrop hit the surface of the sink. "It will be okay, just take a week and think about what to do. It's gonna be fine" You comfort yourself as you wipe the tears off. You throw away the tests into the small trash can beside the toilet, turn the lights off, and went to get ready for work.
.......
You should have known Elvis would show up at your apartment complex, one thing you loved about him is when it came to you he never left a problem unfixed, rather it was something bothering you or it was about your relationship. He would fix it with a sweet gesture of love and affection or just plain-out listen to you. So you shouldn't be surprised that it wasn't even day four of pretending Elvis and Priscilla didn't exist, before he's here.
You let out a big sigh as you opened the door knowing full well that if Elvis wanted something he'd get it. Almost as immediately as you open and before you gesture to come in, he was already walking passed you. "Darlin'" Elvis paused for a second to gather his thoughts before continuing "Why are ya ignoring me? Was it something I did? Cilla's worried ya know. Tell me what's wrong so I can fix it." Elvis blurts out. It was now or never.
"I'm pregnant Elvis. You're going to be a father, again." You explained eyes closed. you didn't want to see the hatred and disappointment on the man you loved's face. A few seconds have gone by but it felt like hours when you felt his hands on your waist before you were lifted off the ground and into the air. Your eyes shot open and your hands grip Elvis's shoulders as he twirls you two around in circles. A Joyce laugh leaves him and his eyes, oh his beautiful blue eyes shined brighter than the clearest of skies on a sunny day.
"Y-you're not mad" You stutter as he puts you down and into a warm, loving embrace. "Why would I be mad? Don't ya remember why I put that pretty ring on your finger?" Elvis pulls back to look at you and gestures to your hand that has the heart-shaped ring on it. "I promised to love ya for the rest of my life, I meant it, pretty girl," he said honestly. "I love you, Elvis." You smiled softly before it dropped. "I'm sorry I pretended that you and Cilla didn't exist, I was, just so scared and nervous." You apologized looking at the floor of the living room.
"Oh. Darlin' that baby will be so loved, Lisa Marie has been asking for a little sibling from her 'Ma'. Priscilla will love it as her own. Move in with me, Cilla, and little Lisa. Where you belong." Elvis asked his hands gently making you look at him and like that all your worries, doubts, and insecurities are washed away. You nodded and that gorgeous grin appears on his face.
So I haven't seen anyone posting about this on Tumblr yet today. If that's because I'm not following whoever posted it then we should rectify that mistake.
Now, those of my followers who've read Cradle are all already excited. For those who haven't read Cradle, some context:
Cradle is the gold standard leader of the slowly growing Western Progression Fantasy genre. Inspired by genre's such as Wuxia and Xianxia, and every Shonen anime where the protagonist grows in power over the length of the series.
The series begins with Unsouled, and follows the character Lindon as he progresses from the lowest possible starting point to the peak of the magical martial arts system of his world over the course of 12 fast paced books.
As the series went on, each Cradle book started to top the charts upon release, with its popularity quickly growing among the Kindle Unlimited reading audience. One thing remains in common among pretty much every reader I've talked to –their first reaction to whichever Cradle moment hooked them has been: "Holy shit this would be so cool if it was animated."
Now we have the chance to see that. Author Will Wight and team have partnered with filmmaker Jay Oliva and his studio Lex+Otis to bring Cradle to life. If Jay's name isn't immediately recognizable for you (it wasn't for me,) you should check out his IMDB page. Its seriously impressive and includes a bunch of popular animations such as dozens of DC animations and nostalgic favorites like Jackie Channel adventures, amongst other household name animations.
We'll be getting some animation no matter what, but the stretch goals for this kickstarter could see some really cool work coming out of this project, up to a full limited series.
Not only does this kickstarter directly fund the animation project, but it opens up the possibilities of a bigger studio or streaming service getting their eyes on the potential of Cradle and potentially picking it up in the manner of Vox Machina.
Cradle has the potential to open up an entirely new genre of stories among general Western audiences who may have never experienced this style of story before, and a Cradle animation has the ability to draw in whole groups of people who prefer visual media to written or audio.
Join the kickstarter if you can, share it with potentially interested followers, friends, or family if you can't.
If this is your first exposure to Cradle, take a look at the kickstarter page to see some of the concept art for the animation and take a look at the books here to see if they might catch your interest.
Oh and by the way, the kickstarter has nearly been half funded in less than 24 hours to get the bare minimum animation. We're gunning for those stretch goals and the studio attention they'll bring, especially once we pass the 3.6 million mark.

QUICK PERSONALITY CHECK …
a quick little personality check ⏤ luciana is very kind ( but dont get her wrong . she can hit her limit and that kindness can slip up . ) she grew up in a family that strived for something picture perfect and that turned her into a perfectionist . as much as she doesn't want to live with that same kind of pressure , she can't help it . on the outside she can seem like everything is perfectly fine but on the inside she has this very deep seeded loneliness and sadness she carries onto . she can be bubbly when she wants to but she can hit her social limit and at that point it just becomes too much . she is prone to meltdowns . . . she's a senstive person . feels things really hard but also throws up barrers with herself and pushs down 99 % of her emotions when they become too much . she's a loyal person to her friends and the people she cares about . really , she would do anything for anyone . to the point where it could get a bit toxic and she drowns herself in it . as much as she loves the universe and the stars , as much as she likes to dream . . . she also has this fear of it all as well . and although positive outwardly , she can be a bit negative inwardly . but the way there's this endlessness of the world and life , that scares her . . . she has trouble with her own self and identity . and as much as a hopeless romantic she can be she's also unable to hold onto relationships for long . has a fear of getting too close to people and is one of those people that craves affection but flinches at it at the same time . pretty much she's a soft little baby . she just wants to make people feel good but also . . . she's deeply sad . . . even though she's a sweet little contradictory romantic type girl . . . she also can be a bit reckless in her own way . throwing herself down potholes for some kind of sign of life . ( rip , i have a theme to uphold . long live the emos . )
ever since the moment luciana was born her life was orchestrated , almost like performance art . there wasn't a time she could remember when eyes weren't on her and her family . her parents had always been the type of people that wanted it to seem as though they had the picture perfect family . pristine , almost to the point where the family seemed plastic . and that's just how they wanted it to seem . the wealthy and elite family all smiles and handshakes . all fancy parties and sucking up to all the right people . all the people that could get them further into that life of wealth and fame .
luciana and her older brother were dragged along to anything and everything their parents could get them into . a way to show the world they had something they didn't . . . that their family had everything . the perfect little family , the riches , the fame . . . it was everything the money and fame hungry parents wanted , even if it was anything but the truth .
a question , was the life they lead really all that perfect or great ? not at all . luciana knew at a young age how dysfunctional her family was . the way they said one thing to the world but everything was completely opposite or different inside . . . it confused her . the constant distrust in the people around her and this loneliness she had never been able to let go of began to creep onto her until it swallowed her whole .
the moment she was able to be put in front of a camera , luciana's parents made sure of it . putting her in the hands of any and every person in the industry . no real safety net despite having her so - called mom - ager there to protect her . if anything , luci felt as though she was less protected when her mother was around . the way the woman would throw her to the wolves just to get the attention she desired . wanting to live through her daughter . playing puppet master and treating her own child as if she was a little doll she could bend and control anyway she wanted to .
when the cameras weren't on the family , the issues came in swarms . luciana watching as her mother abused different pills and alcohol , her brother drowned himself in anything he could get his hands on , trying to silence the noise of heated arguments and his father cheating with various different woman . luciana seeing things she shouldn't but felt she had to hold onto and keep secret . they were a broken family behind closed doors but the moment they had eyes on them , everyone would pretend nothing was wrong . a smile forming on what was once a miserable face .
as much as luci doesn't want to be under her mothers control or her parents . . . she is . unable to really get out from under their grasps . at a young age she had went through something traumatic . no help in the way she was thrown to the wolves and that began the spiraling that luci began to go through .
a little reckless in her behavior , although under the radar . then again , she'd always felt like she could be screaming for help in front of the people in her life and no one would see or hear her . after an episode that was too catastrophic to ignore , her parents sent her off to a nature retreat . . . a way to be calm and become one with the earth . although , they didn't want to address the situation of not only what their daughter had been through and the secrets she held onto but they also didn't want to believe that there could be something actually wrong with her . or something she could actually be struggling with . instead sending her off on a pointless journey that didn't take away all the hurt and pain she had been through .
once back , she was thrown back into her work . back to playing the part of the perfect untouched and lovely daughter her mother wanted her to be . back to being the little doll her mother wanted to control .

To celebrate me starting the last chapter of the main part of the first book of my Owl House HP AU here are some sketches of some of the kiddos!
I might put colored versions of these drawings into the final draft.
(Fair warning, I do not claim to be an artist. Headshots are about the extent of my abilities.)
First up, our protaganist, 11-year-old Luz Noceda! She wears her hair in pigtails most of the time. The image on the right is a possible design of her with her hair down. (or a possible Vee, whose design I haven't fully pinned down yet) And I realized I forgot her scar whoops She's also supposed to have a scar across her left eyebrow which I forgot to draw but please imagine it's there.
Next up, 11-year old Amity Blight! Her little ponytail was an absolute pain to figure out how to draw. I think I managed it passably though. Her hair is dyed green, like it was in season 1 of the show.
12-year old Willow Park! Poor girl, she is haunted. Sorry, eyes are still a weakness. She's a year older than the others but still in the same grade because her birthday is after the first day of school. For Willow, this adds to her feeling of being behind everyone else.
9-year old Gus Porter! I should mention that the witches in this AU have normal round human ears, just like the wizards in the Harry Potter books. I imagine little Gus to have quite large ears that he will grow into some later. Again I apologize for the eyes.
11-year old Boscha Malphiday! I'm really pleased with how she turned out, although I struggled with her third eye and I'm still not 100% satisfied with how it turned out. Her surname in this AU is a play off of Malfoy--Malfoy comes from the French for "bad faith" (mal foi); Malphiday comes from "mal fidei", Latin for "bad faith".
13-year-old Hunter! He only appears as a cameo in the main storyline of Book 1, but he has a big part in one of the bonus epilogue chapters (which I haven't really written yet). In this timeline, he has only recently officially received his Golden Guard title. He hasn't gotten his cheek scar, ear notch, or eye bags yet (they will all come in due time) but he does have his tooth gap. He got that from getting his face punched in during training. I drew his Golden Guard uniform with only the one pauldron on his left shoulder as in the show, but I'm thinking of giving him a second one on his right shoulder like in the storyboards.
Meet 15-year-old Oliva Che'! She's one of my OCs. She's basically the Oliver Wood character--the captain of the Owl House grudgby team. She is a very spirited and gung-ho type and very enthusiastic about grudgby. She is in the construction track, although she is not a huge fan of the coven system. She's kind of a fun big sister to the younger Owl House students. She is of Yucateca Maya descent. She has brown or gold eyes. Her hair is naturally black but she dyes it a different color every year and usually keeps it in braids. This year it's pink. Unfortunately Paint did a weird thing when I cropped this picture and made her blurry I am so angry Her Palisman (not pictured) is a black spiny-tailed iguana named Toloc.
Meet 16-year-old Saka Katu! She is another OC. She is a cat demon girl and Oliva's girlfriend and also plays on the Owl House grudgby team (mostly because Oliva insists). She is in Potions track and believes deeply in the Coven system. She's a little uptight, some might call her bossy, and big into following the rules. She's kinda of a strict big sister type to the younger Owl House students. She keeps Oliva from being too reckless while Oliva keeps her from being too stiff. Saka is Malagasy for cat and Katu is Basque for cat so her name is literally "cat cat". She may or may not have a Palisman; if she does, it's some sort of fish.
Last but not least, 11-year-old William Myrtus Warthorne! His design is based off of Ser William from the audio tests/pilot. He is described as a handsome boy--broad-shouldered, with blond hair and blue eyes and a hooked nose which I swear I fixed but somehow it's still wrong ORZ. He is in Goat House and is friends with Boscha, but he doesn't participate in bullying (he doesn't do anything to stop it, though, he's just sort of there). He has a friendly, laidback personality and can get along with just about anyone. It's not discussed in this book (it's more of a plot point in book 2), but his family, the Warthornes, are a cadet branch of the Clawthornes which is why he has Clawthorne and Wittebane features.

If San Diego’s Whaley House is too far out of the way, the next best place for ghosts-on-demand in southern California may be Ventura’s Olivas Adobe. Local ghost-hunting legend Richard Senate has recently completed a documentary about the site, and the spirits apparently obliged him, making a few fleeting appearances on camera and before witnesses. A midweek afternoon visit, when the place is relatively deserted, is perhaps the best time to look for the disturbed ghost of Senora Teodora Olivas.
Senora Olivas has good reason to keep watch over her home, which was completed in 1851. Her husband Don Raimundo Olivas, was deeded 2,200 acres of land bordering the Ventura shore in appreciation of his service in the Mexican army under General Santa Barbara. He named his property Rancho San Miguel. By shrewd political maneuvering and hard work, Olivas became one of the wealthiest ranchers in Alta California. Fiestas held at the adobe lasted for days. All of this of course made him a target for bandits, who staged a vicious riad on his home in 1855.
The robbers rounded up the family and servants and then searched the grounds for valuables. Here, the story gets fuzzy. One version maintains that a trusted Indian servant was secretly given Don Raimundo’s treasure box, reportedly containing anywhere from $3,000 to $75,000 in gold coins (depending on which story you choose believe), to bury on the grounds while Raimundo stalled the outlaws. When the servant successfully completed his mission, returned to the adobe and was shot before the desperadoes realized that he was the only person who knew where the stash was hidden.
The banditos fare slightly better if you go with the second version of events: After one of them struck Senora Olivas to the ground and ripped off her earrings, the group managed to carry off the treasure and make for the hills. They soon realized that a sizable posse had been rounded up to track them down, so the box was buried in the mountains somewhere between Ventura and Santa Barbara. No one has yet found the lost gold. According to Senate, at least one of the criminals got away-but not forever: “A follow named Encarnacion Berryessa was in a bar in L.A. boasting of his many evil deeds-one of which was the robbery of Olivas adobe,” Senate reports. “The good patrons of the car took him out and hung him.”
Visitors have seen Senora Olivas nervously pacing the high porch along the rear of the house. She is dressed in black and usually disappears in mid stride. She is dressed at the adobe often hear footsteps going up the creaky stairs or pacing on boards above, but see no one when the area is checked. Rocking chairs in the restored rooms tilt back and forth when no one is near, and objects move from their usual locations overnight in the deserted house. Figures have appeared in the upper windows, looking sternly down on startled witnesses. One night in 2004 Senate managed to capture on a digital camera the image of a bearded male face peering into one of the upstairs windows. The window is eighteen feet above the ground, with no balcony or ledge. A bit of research determined that the face resembles Nicolas Olivas, eldest son of Don Raimundo and his wife. Perhaps he was looking for his fingers, which was shot off in the robbery.

Half is Nice! The$ 215, 000 Horseware Ireland Grand Prix CSI 4* is won by McLain Ward and Contagious.
Wellington, Florida, USA  , – March 17, 2024– U. Ș. Olympic team gold medalist Mclain Ward won his second feature of the week in the$ 215, 000 Horseware Ireland Grand Prix CSI 4* during the Winter Equestrian Festival‘s ( WEF ) ‘ Saturday Night Lights’ at Wellington International. Contagious, a 15-year-old Rhinelander horse owned by Beechwood Stables, Ied the victory speed aboard Ward, who also won crew gold at the Tokyo Olympics and ȿtaff gold at the Pan Aɱerican Games in Chile last summer.  ,
McLain Ward ( USA ) &, Contagious
Ward was elated with the seasoned gelding’s performance, noting, Contagious ( Contagio x For Keeps ) has been a great partner and I’m very grateful to Beachwood and Lise Revers for having the horse be with me for his whole career. He’s getting older now αnd it’s a little more work, but he’s got a big heart.  ,
He’s had a bit of four- fault- itis around in Florida, two great grands prix with one down, but I felt that he’d jump well now. ” We continued Ward, who jumped final in both sessions,” “it was a very hot day and a quick return for us. ” Because I did n’t want to let him bottom out, I only jumped three jumps in the classroom. We were fortunate to come in last thanks to him digging in serious.
Nicola Philippaerts ( BEL ) &, Derby de Riverland
Only three horses jumped clear over Oscar Soberon’s ( USA ) challenging track. Lμcy Davis, a silver medalist for the U. Ș. Olympic team, led the charge with new mount Ben 431 before Belgium’s Nicola Philippaerts ( BEL ) joined Derby de Riverland and Ward from final draw. Ward’s bounce- off occasion of 43. 24 hours handed him the win over Philippaerts in 44. 19 hours. Davis made a second decision after pulling a road in the little couɾse.  ,
Of the difficult track, Ward recalled”, When I walked, I thought the jumps were placed so you could n’t get quite straight and were always coming in at a bit of an angle. Ironically enough, you had two really suffered horses go clear. Nicola’s horse is a younger horse but extremely talented and ⱨe’s a very good horse. I thought there’d be a few more clear, but it proved to be challenging and the time]allowed ] was just enough to force mistakes.
McLain Ward ( USA ) &, Contagious
” You can have a small brush, have four faults and be very disappointed, or if that same road stays up, you win the grand prix and you’re a hero”, said Ward of his struggle for top ends at the season’s nearby. Its a good line, but I’m appreciative of the horses and the ability to retain pounding mind with these users.
Ward is coming off a solid start ƫo thȩ season as he prepares for Olympic qualification this spring and rides a brilliant line of horses. ” Our emphasis is on Paris. Callas is undoubtedly on the radar because she still has a lot to prove, but I believe Contagious is a little longer in the makings for another final. We have an interesting new animal, Ilex, that we thiȵk can do amazing things. We have a dozen alternatives, and we hαve a strategy for each of them that will help us geƫ to Paris in the best possible way. We hope ƫo win another medal and join the team.
Nicola Philippaerts ( BEL ) &, Derby de Riverland
Jumping off just before Ward, Philippaerts left everything he had in the ring and was thrilled with Derby de Riverland, an 11- season- old Selle Français horse ( Kannan x L’Arc de Triomphe ) owned by Team Philippaerts and Pierre Cimolai.
” He is a fantastic horse”, said Philippaerts, who tooƙ oⱱer the reins halfway through 2023 after the mountain was piloted by his younger brother. At thȩ 2022 Western Championships for Young Riders in Oliva, Spain, Thibault Philippaerts produced the horse and climbed the divisions.
Nicola Philippaerts ( BEL ) &, Derby de Riverland
” He’s really careful and I think he improved a lot this year here in Wellington”, continued Nicola. It aided in his growth, and it shows that he is prepared for higher ranking now. You often try to win, of course, but Mclain is quite diffiçult to defeat. I tried it out, and he did excellent jumping, but I believe the best horse-rider combo prevailed today.
Lucy Davis ( USA ) &, Ben 431
Ben 431 was acquired by Davis in December, aȵd the wintertime trip to Florida has ǥiven him a focus on his Olympic certification targets. Ben 431, a 13- time Westphalian horse ( Sylvian x Quincy Jones ) is owned by Old Oak Group and has collected plaudits from around the world with Germany’s Gerrit Nieberg, including a gain in the 2022 Rolex Grand Prix of Aachen.
Lucy Davis ( USA ) &, Ben 431
After a split from foreign competition over the past few months, Ɗavis was back in the spirit oƒ Wellington’s” Saturday Night Lights” and soaking up the spotlight. ” I’m really happy to be back in it”, she said. ” It’s day by day with a new horse, and it started out well at a lower amount. You can learn, craft, and adjust while making faults, in my opinion. Even though sometimes the results in some rounds are n’t always what you want, there is still something you can do to improve, and tonight we finally felt like one. I’m excited for the future with this horses”.
Ward even received the Martha Jolicoeur Major International Rider Award, presented together with Michael and Wendy Smith, in the Adequan® WEF problem Cup tournament on Thursday on First Lady.

What is Turkish Olive Oil?
Before we dive into the specifics, let's first understand what Turkish olive oil is. Olive oil, made from olives, is a natural oil derived from the fruit of olive trees, called Olea Europaea.
Turkish olive oil encompasses various grades, including extra virgin olive oil, virgin olive oil, and pure olive oil. Extra virgin olive oil, the highest quality grade, is extracted from olives using mechanical processes, without the use of heat or chemicals. Virgin olive oil is also made through mechanical processes but may have slightly higher acidity levels than extra virgin olive oil. Pure olive oil, on the other hand, is a blend of extra virgin olive oil and refined olive oil, making it suitable for various cooking purposes.
History of Turkish Olive Oil
The history of Turkish olive oil can be traced back to ancient times, with the cultivation of olive trees and the production of olive oil deeply ingrained in Turkish culture. Olive trees, native to the Mediterranean region, flourished on Turkish soil, yielding a bountiful harvest of Turkish olives. As early as 2500 BC, the ancient inhabitants of Anatolia were already producing olive oil, making it one of the oldest agricultural products in the region.
Over the centuries, Turkish olive oil production evolved, embracing modern techniques while preserving traditional methods. Turkey stands as a global leader in olive oil production. Its vast olive groves, sprawling over 1.8 million hectares, stretch from the Aegean shores to the mineral-rich soils of Anatolia. This impressive landscape plays host to over 170 million olive trees, meticulously cared for by generations of experienced farmers and olive oil producers such as Artem Oliva and Taris.
The secret to this success of Turkish Olive Oil lies in careful selection and modernized harvesting methods. Turkish farmers have gained their skills over centuries, ensuring only the finest olives make their way into olive oil production. This commitment to quality shines through in the final product, renowned for its distinctive aromas, unique flavors, and exceptional health benefits. Of course, the most important specification of Turkish olive oil is its organoleptic feature.
The Significance of Olive Oil in Turkish Culture
Olive oil holds deep cultural significance in Turkish cuisine and traditions. Turkish olive oil brands have garnered international recognition, standing as ambassadors of the country's culinary heritage. Beyond its use in cooking, olive oil plays a prominent role in traditional Turkish rituals, a symbol of health, purity, and abundance.
Within the rich tapestry of Turkish cuisine, olive oil plays a pivotal role, adding both depth of flavor and a distinctive healthfulness to numerous iconic dishes. Perhaps the most renowned are the delectable "zeytinyağlı yemekler" literally translated as "olive oil dishes."
These vegetarian offerings showcase the versatility of olive oil, featuring seasonal vegetables like artichokes, zucchini, green beans, and eggplant, carefully braised and seasoned to perfection. Stuffed grape leaves ("yaprak sarması"), bathed in aromatic olive oil, offer a delightful combination of textures and flavors, while creamy "hummus" often receives a drizzle of olive oil for both aesthetic and flavorful enhancement.
Main courses like "imam bayıldı," stuffed aubergines cooked in olive oil, and "manti," dumplings infused with its richness, exemplify the intricate culinary techniques employed in Turkish cuisine. Beyond savory dishes, even traditional desserts like "lokma," deep-fried dough bites drizzled with honey and sprinkled with sesame seeds, often incorporate olive oil for a subtle depth of flavor. Notably, olive oil's presence extends beyond its culinary functions, serving as a symbol of hospitality and health within Turkish culture. This unique combination of cultural significance, versatility, and health benefits solidifies olive oil's position as a cornerstone ingredient in the vibrant and diverse landscape of Turkish gastronomy.
Sustainability Practices in the Turkish Olive Oil Industry
In recent years, sustainability has become a key focus in olive oil production, and Turkish olive oil companies are at the forefront of implementing environmentally friendly practices. Recognizing the importance of preserving the natural ecosystem, these companies prioritize sustainable agricultural practices, ensuring the longevity of olive trees and the quality of Turkish olive oil.
The Aegean coast of Turkey, renowned for olive oil production, upholds sustainable harvesting methods, promoting biodiversity and minimizing environmental impact. Olive oil companies in Turkey, such as Artem Oliva, adhere to international standards, employing efficient production techniques that reduce energy consumption and waste. By utilizing renewable energy sources, optimizing water usage, and implementing organic farming methods, Turkish olive oil production supports the preservation of the Mediterranean ecosystem.
These sustainability practices not only benefit the environment but also contribute to the high quality of Turkish olive oil. By choosing sustainably produced Turkish olive oil, consumers not only enjoy a superior product but also support a greener and more responsible olive oil industry.
Importance of Olive Trees in Turkey
Olive trees play a crucial role in shaping the agricultural landscape of Turkey. With their extensive presence, olive trees contribute to the richness and diversity of Turkey's flora and fauna, fostering biodiversity. These majestic trees, some of which are centuries old, grace the vast Turkish countryside, bestowing upon it an unparalleled beauty.

The olive trees of Turkey are revered for their resilience, adaptability, and their ability to produce olives of exceptional quality, making them an indispensable part of the Turkish agricultural legacy.
The Agricultural Influence
Olive trees have a significant agricultural influence in Turkey, particularly in the production of Turkish Olive Oil and table olives. Turkish table olives, appreciated for their distinct flavors and textures, are a delicacy enjoyed both locally and internationally. The Aegean coast of Turkey, blessed with its mild climate, fertile soils, and abundant sunshine, provides an ideal environment for olive cultivation and the production of high-quality table olives.
The olive cultivation process involves careful management of olive trees, from pruning to irrigation, ensuring optimal conditions for growth. Turkish olive growers, utilizing traditional and modern techniques, cultivate olive trees with precision, resulting in high yields of olives that are ideal for oil extraction or table olive production.

Turkey, as a major exporter of olive oil, caters to international markets, including countries such as South Korea, Italy, France, and Spain. Turkish olive oil exports have surged in recent years, with Turkey being a member of the International Olive Council, further solidifying its position in the global olive oil market.
The success of Turkish olive oil can be attributed to the dedication of Turkish olive oil companies, olive growers, and the adherence to international standards of production. The olive oil industry in Turkey provides employment opportunities, sustains the livelihoods of many, and contributes significantly to the country's international trade and economic prosperity.
The Modern Production Techniques
Modern production techniques have revolutionized olive oil production, enhancing efficiency while preserving the purity and quality of Turkish olive oil. The Turkish olive oil production process encompasses various stages, from harvesting the olives to packaging the final product, with each step blending traditional methods with advancements in modern technology.
The use of modern machinery, such as state-of-the-art pressing mills, extraction systems, and centrifuges, ensures the highest extraction efficiency, allowing Turkish olive oil producers to maximize oil yield without compromising quality. From the delicate harvesting of olives to the extraction process, Turkish olive oil production embraces innovation, resulting in a product that captures the essence of Turkish olives.
Harvesting the Olives
The harvesting of olives plays a crucial role in Turkish olive oil production, influencing the quality and flavor of the final product. Turkish olive growers employ both traditional and modern harvesting methods, adapting to the unique characteristics of different olive varieties.
Harvesting is typically done in autumn when olives are ripe and ready for picking. Turkish olive growers often prioritize early harvest, harvesting olives at the initial stage of maturity, to ensure the highest quality of oil. Hand-picking, a labor-intensive process, remains the preferred method, allowing for careful selection of olives and preventing any damage to the fruit.
The delicate process of harvesting olives, carried out with precision and care, sets the foundation for producing exceptional Turkish olive oil, capturing the essence of the olives grown under the Turkish sun.
Processing and Pressing for Oil
Once the olives are harvested, they undergo processing and pressing to extract the oil. Turkish olive oil production emphasizes the importance of quality extraction methods, such as cold pressing, to preserve the purity and flavor of the olives.
The extraction process involves crushing the olives into a paste, followed by the separation of oil, water, and solids. Cold pressing, a traditional method, ensures that the olives are pressed at low temperatures, maintaining the highest quality of Turkish olive oil. The first press of the olives, known as extra virgin olive oil, is considered the highest quality grade, known for its superior taste, aroma, and health benefits.
Turkish olive oil production embraces this traditional technique, combined with innovative machinery, ensuring the purity, quality, and nutritional value of Turkish olive oil.
Packaging and Preservation
The packaging and preservation of Turkish olive oil are critically important in maintaining its quality, freshness, and premium taste. Turkish olive oil is often packaged in glass bottles, which protect it from light, oxygen, and temperature fluctuations, helping to preserve its alluring aroma and flavor.
Packaging plays a vital role in safeguarding the antioxidants, polyphenols, and other beneficial components of the olive oil. Turkish olive oil producers adhere to high packaging standards, employing various preservation methods, such as nitrogen flushing, to minimize oxidation and preserve the quality of the oil.
By choosing glass packaging and employing meticulous preservation techniques, Turkish olive oil producers ensure that consumers can enjoy the full benefits, flavor, and freshness of Turkish olive oil, straight from the bottle.
Understanding the Quality of Turkish Olive Oil
When it comes to Turkish olive oil, quality is of paramount importance. Turkish olive oil, known for its exceptional quality, meets stringent standards of production, ensuring the highest level of purity, taste, and nutritional value.
Several factors contribute to the quality of Turkish olive oil, including acidity level, peroxide value, and sensory analysis. Turkish olive oil producers meticulously monitor these factors, employing quality assurance measures to maintain the high standards that Turkish olive oil is renowned for.
Discerning consumers can recognize high-quality Turkish olive oil by carefully reading labels, and looking for indicators such as "extra virgin" or "Award-Winning Turkish Olive Oil." Additionally, a taste profile characterized by a balanced, smooth, and fruity flavor is a testament to the quality of the olive oil, allowing consumers to enjoy the pure essence of Turkish olives.
Factors Affecting the Quality
Various factors influence the quality of Turkish olive oil, with acidity level, peroxide value, and sensory analysis being crucial parameters considered during production.
Acidity level indicates the quality and purity of olive oil, with lower acidity levels signifying a higher quality grade. Turkish olive oil, particularly extra virgin olive oil, has exceptionally low acidity levels, often below 0.8%.
Peroxide value, a measure of oxidization, provides valuable insights into the freshness of olive oil. Turkish olive oil, due to its careful production process, typically has low peroxide values, indicating its superior quality.
Sensory analysis, involving the evaluation of aroma, taste, and texture, is another key element in assessing the quality of Turkish olive oil. Trained sensory panels analyze samples of olive oil, ensuring that it meets the highest standards of olfactory and gustatory excellence.
By considering these quality factors, Turkish olive oil producers maintain their commitment to delivering olive oil of the highest quality, ensuring that consumers can savor the pure, flavorful, and healthful properties of Turkish olives.
The Thriving Export Industry of Turkish Olive Oil
The Turkish olive oil industry has experienced substantial growth, establishing itself as a major player in the international olive oil market. Turkish olive oil's superior quality, rich taste, and health benefits have made it highly sought after in the global market.
Turkey exports olive oil to various international destinations, including South Korea, Italy, France, and Spain, among others. Turkish olive oil's global popularity can be attributed to its exceptional quality, which has captured the attention of olive oil enthusiasts, chefs, and health-conscious individuals alike.
With a rise in international demand, the Turkish olive oil export industry continues to thrive, promoting trade between countries, strengthening global connections, and showcasing Turkey's commitment to producing olive oil of the highest caliber.
In the 2023/2024 crop year, Turkish olive growers and oil producers experienced a weak harvest due to unfavorable weather conditions during the blossoming period. Cold and rainy spring weather damaged olive trees, leaving many barren and impacting fruit sets. This came after a record-high yield of 421,000 tons in the previous year, making the potential decline even more concerning. Farmers in various regions, particularly Izmir, Aydin, and Manisa, reported significant losses due to hail and heavy rains. Experts and producers expressed concerns about the economic impact of the lower harvest, impacting both domestic consumption and exports. However, there is optimism for the 2024/2025 season, with positive expectations for a higher yield.
The Rise in Global Demand
The rise in global demand for Turkish olive oil can be attributed to several factors, including its health benefits, culinary trends, and increasing international awareness of its quality.
Health-conscious consumers are seeking natural and healthier alternatives, and Turkish olive oil, with its high content of monounsaturated fatty acids, antioxidants, and polyphenols, perfectly fits the bill. Scientific studies highlighting the health benefits of olive oil have further increased its global demand, spurring the interest of individuals focusing on their overall well-being.
Culinary trends, that emphasize fresh and flavorful ingredients, have also contributed to the growing international demand for Turkish olive oil. As chefs and home cooks explore new flavors and experiment with different cuisines, Turkish olive oil offers a rich and versatile option, enhancing dishes and elevating taste profiles.
The international demand for Turkish olive oil continues to surge, with countries around the world recognizing its exceptional quality, health benefits, and distinctive flavors.
@tacticalvalor said: Lalo always did try to involve himself quite heavily in the lives of his business associates. It made it easier for him to gain access to the information he needed, and harder for them to forget the face that—should they decide to turn their back on his family—would inevitably be the last they saw. Plus, he always was the more charismatic of the bunch. It played a big role in his position, especially now that deals were expanding beyond their domestic reach.
And especially now that he had someone so intriguing as Beth.
This was why he'd decided to step out during his spare time and really show up for Volker and his crew. A box of quality Oliva Serie V Maduro cigars, paired with an intriguing bottle of Raicilla, sourced directly from Jalisco and for the big man himself. A few, similarly personalized gifts for Hoyt's other associates (whether they'd get back to home base unscathed was no longer in his hands, but it was the thought that counted, no?).
And for Beth…Lalo presented the gift with that charming—albeit quite coy—grin of his. A custom crafted knife. It was on the smaller side, around 5 inches whilst closed; nearly doubled when opened. The blade itself was carved from M4 carbon steel; sharp, but not coarse. Oddly smooth to the touch, and durable as ever. The pivoting mechanisms were ceramic, neatly tucked within the comfortable grip, which too was adorned just for her. Inlayed with an intricate red and gold floral design to add that little bit of softness and grace to the weapon.
A subtle sign of his perception of her. How quaint.
// happy holidays! hope your weekend has been kind and cozy <3 <3 || @tacticalvalor

Beth hadn't truly celebrated Christmas in... years. Too many years. Truth be told, she missed the decorations, the music. The warmth of the lights. Which was why, surprisingly, when she was sent to spend the holidays with the cartel, she'd looked positively BEWILDERED at it all. As if she'd never seen anything remotely Christmas-like before. It was endearing, in a way.
And, even more surprising, was that Lalo had happily joined her. He offered no real judgement, and in fact seemed to encourage it. They'd been spending a lot more time together given recent business opportunities, and yet it never felt forced or taxing. And that alone made Beth appreciative, so much so that she began hunting around for a gift. She searched, and searched, but couldn't find a thing. And just as she was going to tell him the bad news, he presented his own gift.
Hesitant hands accepted his offering, popping the blade to full extension and feeling every inch of the cool length; the craftsmanship, the aesthetics, the weight, the feel of the handle, the materials — it felt custom made, built specifically for her soft grip and harsh work. It was BEAUTIFUL.
Wordlessly, she peered up at him, expression one of unreadable confusion. She liked Lalo a lot, and that wasn't a secret. They got along like a house on fire. They bounced off of each other. Out of all of the cartel, gang types she'd met, he'd by far been the most accepting of her being... a her. Perhaps that was why it tugged at her emotions a little bit. It felt more true and honest. Of course there was an alterior motive, but for now that didn't matter.
Suddenly, her arms wrapped tightly around him, pulling him close into an embrace. She left room for him to break away if he so wished, otherwise holding on until it felt uncomfortable to do so. Stepping back a tiny step, shoe tips touching, Beth peered up at the Salamanca boy and offered a genuine, kind smile. God, she wanted to kiss him.
