Baby- Oscar Diaz x Reader

Summary: you and Oscar have been trying to have a baby for a year now but you couldn’t seem to get pregnant.

A/n please request I want to be consistent with uploading imagines, but it’s hard for me to come up with ideas. It would be easier if I just got a request to go off of.

You and Oscar have been together for 6 years in total and married for 1 year. You knew Oscar since you were little and began your relationship with him in high school when he got jumped into the Santos. He put a claim on you not wanting any other Santo to be able to touch you. When you found out you were angry with him being that you’ll never be able to get into a relationship with anyone now, even though you really wanted to be in a relationship with him. That’s when he confessed his love for you.

Six years of your life that you wouldn’t change, because you found the love of your life. The day you got married with Oscar was the best day in your life. You guys finally decided on three babies but if more happened you guys would be okay with it.

But... there’s always a but, you couldn’t seem to get pregnant after a year of trying. This made you feel angry and useless, like you couldn’t make Oscar happy without babies. Although Oscar is sad that you weren’t pregnant yet what saddened him more was how sad you were.

“Mi amor, it’s fine we’ll try again.” He said grabbing the pregnancy test out of your hand and placing it on the counter in your bathroom. He bent down now looking up at you as you sat on the toilet tears falling down your face. “I’m useless Oscar. I can’t even get fucking pregnant.” You cried now covering your face. “No you’re not there are other options nena. We don’t need a baby.” He said wiping away your tears trying to cheer you up.

“No I want to carry a baby in my stomach. I want a baby.” You said pointing at your chest whenever you said I. “We just got to keep trying then mami. It’s gonna be okay. We got each other to get threw this, okay?” You nodded your head in response now hugging him. “I love you mamas.” He whispered into your ear. “I love you too papi.”

Music was playing and all of the Santos were over. You laying against Oscars shoulder as he talked to Sad Eyes and Joker. “So y/n” sad eyes said you moving your attentions towards him “when are you gonna pop out some nieces and nephews? I’m waiting to be a tío.” He said laughing not knowing about your situation. Tears starting to form. Oscar quickly looking at Sad eyes and shaking his head. You got up and ran inside not trying to let everyone see you crying.

You heard the door open to the room you and Oscar shared. You were now on the bed under the covers. As you felt Oscar sit down next to you putting his hand on you arm that was under the cover. “I know it’s hard but we can do this mi amor. We’re gonna have a baby doesn’t matter if it another year as long as it’s with you.” He said pulling the blanket off you face.

Oscar always knew how to make you feel better. You sat up arms wrapped around his waist. “ I’m sorry.” You said your head tucked into his neck. “For what?” He said now looking down at you. “for not being able to give you a baby I know you want.” Oscar grabbed your chin making you look into his eyes, “mamita I want a baby but I want to see you happy more. Maybe we stop trying and if it happens it happens and if it doesn’t then there’s other options.” He said giving you a kiss then pulling you in for a hug. “I love you” you said giving him a tighter hug. “I love you too.”

It’s been two months since you and Oscar decided to stop trying and let things happen themselves. You wanted a baby but Oscar was right maybe you were to stressed and focused on having a baby that maybe it just wouldn’t happen. Like when you try to look for something you can’t find it but when you’re not looking for it it’s right there.

You took a pregnancy test still just to make sure every month. Oscar was gone on some Santos business, he wouldn’t be back for at least three more hours. You went into your shared bathroom with Oscar grabbed a pregnancy test box and opening it. “Come on” you whispered to yourself. You took the test now you had to wait one minute. You sat on the toilet scrolling threw your phone. When the timer went off.

You picked up the stick and saw two lines. Your eyes went wide. You got up from the toilet and began to jump from excitement. “YESSSS!!” You screamed causing Cesar to come and knock on your room door. “Are you okay?” He said concerts at the loud stomps from you jumping. “Uhhh yeah, yeah I’m good.” You said quickly hiding the test in the bathroom drawer and walking out of the bathroom to open the door to Cesar who was still standing there.

“Can you keep a secret?” You said excitedly. “I mean I kept a secret from Oscar once that I didn’t shoot a guy... so yeah.” He said jokingly. You’d hook your head. “Okay come here.” You said bringing Cesar to the bathroom and opening the drawer you put the pregnancy test in. You grabbed it and showed Cesar, “I’m pregnant.” Cesar looked at you happily. “I’m gonna be a tío? Tío Cesar.” He said now with a wide smile nodding his head. He then took you into a big hug “I’m so happy for you guys.” He said.

Oscar was gonna be home soon and you had a big plan on telling him you were pregnant. You made his favorite meal, and you wore his favorite dress. You took the pregnancy test putting it in a small gift box for him to open. You heard the door open. You grabbed the box and walked out of the room hiding the box behind your back as Oscar walked towards you with a big smile. “What’s all of this?” He said looking you up and down and licking his lips. “I have a surprise for you.” You said grabbing his hand walking him to the table to take a seat. His eyebrow rises and looked at you suspiciously. You handed him the box that had your pregnancy test in it.

“Whats this?” He asked looking down at it and then looking back up at you. “It’s your surprise. Now open it” you said excitedly.

He unwrapped the neatly wrapped box and then opened the box to reveal the pregnancy test. He quickly looked up at you “You’re pregnant?” He said getting up and putting a hand on your stomach then other on your cheek. You nodded your head a tear falling down your face. “I’m gonna be a dad.” He said his smiles grew and he kissed you.

You and Oscar wanted to tell the Santos together especially Sad Eyes. You walked outside and sat on the couch with Oscar. Sad eyes and some other Santos sitting down next to us talking to Oscar. “We have some news.” You said smiling and looking at Oscar then back to the Santos who were looking at you now. “Im pregnant.” You said excitedly. Sad eyes had a smile on his face and so did the rest of the Santos. “I’m gonna be a Tío?” Sad eyes said happily, which made you laugh because he had the same reaction as Cesar. You nodded you head. Oscar giving you a kiss on the side of your head.

“Congratulations” the rest of the Santos said happy for you and Oscar.

“We finally gonna have a baby papi” you said to Oscar with a big smile. “I can’t wait.” He replied giving you a kiss and putting his hand on your stomach.
