The two of you had been in Japan together, but didn't know each other personally

Three rounds of shots later and he's got you pinned to the bathroom stall wall

You convince him to come back to your place, and the two of you sneak out

Jay is good in bed and surprises you with being very unselfish for the night

Another baby Akashi scenario I just thought of

Imagine the first time he ever loses a tooth. I bet when he feels it wobble for the first time, he goes to tell his mother, who then tells him about the tooth fairy and how when his tooth comes out, he should leave it under his pillow, and then when he wakes up the next day, there will be money.

Masaomi later expresses his disapproval to Shiori privately because the tooth fairy is just "fairytale nonsense", but she is adamant about letting their son believe in it because he already doesn't get much time to be a kid as is.

For the next few days, baby Akashi constantly jiggled his tooth back and forth to see if it would come out, and his father had to tell him to leave his tooth alone multiple times. It isn't until one day during dinner time, baby Akashi is eating, and while he's chewing something, he feels a weird tugging sensation and then he opens his mouth and pulls out his tooth.

He drops everything to run over to his parents' chairs and announce that his tooth finally came loose, and Shiori reminds him to put it under his pillow that night while Masaomi just looks on in skepticism. He seems about ready to say that the tooth fairy doesn't exist, but then he looks at how excited his son is and ultimately can't bring himself to do it, so he says nothing instead.

The next morning, when baby Akashi runs out of his room to tell his parents that the tooth fairy left him a 1000 yen bill, Shiori glances toward her husband and gives him a knowing smile. Masaomi pointedly avoids her eyes and continues pretending to read his newspaper.

i get so damn sad thinking about ningguang sometimes. intimacy and bearing her soul to another person are terrifying to her. she's lonely even surrounded by as many people as she is, but she'd rather deal with the loneliness of standing atop the world than any other alternative. she's already faced the repercussions of letting someone get that close once -- she's not about to do it again

Nobody asked but I can't get it out of my head so here are my thoughts on Layla x the moon boys:

Marc: First off, any feelings she had for Marc are dead and gone. Maybe he didn't kill her dad personally, but he was there and did nothing and she can't love him with that hanging over her head. Maybe eventually she'll forgive him enough to be close friends with him, but it'll take a while. Ofc she still cares abt him and his wellbeing/safety but unless they're in a life-threatening situation I feel like they would have a very professional/work only relationship. This crushed Marc but he understands why she had to do this.

Steven: Steven is different than Marc. He's honest and caring and nerds out with her about artifacts and dig sites. They do get crushes on each other and maybe go on a date or two in addition to the kiss in the show but ultimately Layla decides that she doesn't want to date him. It's not that she doesn't like him, it's just that she's worried that her feelings for him are just left over from Marc and what she wishes Marc could be. She knows that's not fair to him because he's his own person and so she ends it. (Also, he looks exactly like Marc which is another thing Steven can't control and she doesn't want to make him suffer through all her complicated feelings associated with Marc.) Steven is initially heartbroken but after some introspection, realizes that his "crush" on her was actually just him excited to have a companion in general, not necessarily romantic feelings. They stay really good friends and still go to museums and nerd out and basically just do all the stuff they were doing anyway.

Jake: Nobody knows abt Jake's existence but if/when Layla meets him it's just meeting a stranger. They don't know each other so there's that period of politeness and making sure they make good impressions on each other. She's a bit intimidated by how ruthless he can be when he fights but she knows that he knows that she's a force to be reckoned with and isn't too worried abt her own safety. And honestly, she's not in a place to judge him for how violent he can get. Jake knows she can handle herself and doesn't worry abt her nearly as much as Marc or Steven. They become those besties who are super close, judge you together, and occasionally commit crimes.
