Tanzania enroute to Japan, 1907. I now have two illustrations of Vincent Odinkirk in East Africa. :3
White is colonial parade dress, Kahki is colonial walking out dress (both German). These are pieces of concept art for Moth, the script has clear anti-colonial themes.

Major Isenstein (when not wearing his 'everything is fine' smile). Character from my original Ww1 fiction Ottoway. Once Ottoway is complete he will be getting his own spin-off called 'Moth'. Lighting was inspired by Andrew Wyeth, particularly the Helga Cycle. Used David Bowie as a reference for the pose. Print on Red Bubble.

Siegfried Isenstein and his sons. Giogio on the left, Ren on the right. Their mother is Belgian.
The WW1 segment of Moth needed plot, what happens to this family is not good, more attention will be drawn to the suffering of civilians during ww1, in Ottoway's spin-off.
A lot of allied WW1 propaganda invented German atrocities against Belgian children. When German forces came into contact with this propaganda they were very upset by it. It must have been especially sickening to that fraction of German Soldiers who had children with Belgian women.

More black and white concept art for the Ottoway spin-off ‘Moth’. Which is about young, pre-ww1 Wilhelmian officers.
