Enhypen's eyes are pretty like....
Warnings: fluff and a shit ton of poetry, mention of food and alcohol
A/N: just wanted to rant a bit about how pretty Enha's eyes are
Tumblr media
Lee Heeseung
Heeseung's eyes are filled with the rain which gets stuck on your window sill, the raindrops that you always made race each other on the car windows as a child. It is the lightining which you would shield yourself from, under heaps of blankets and soft music playing from a recorder. His eyes are made from the grey clouds, the heavy atmosphere threatening to breakdown, bringing with it, heavy drops of beautiful rain. Heeseung is a rainy night, with hot cups of tea, snacks, cats cuddled up against you, and someone's voice singing ambrosia into your ear.
Park 'Jay' Jongsoeng
Jay's eyes are made up of black licorice, and clear night skies. Those night skies when all the stars tell their individual stories so beautifully. Andromeda over there with her flowing hair, Perseus over here with Pegasus carrying him so mightily. Jay's eyes have that black licorice that people have mixed emotions over, the smooth shiny strips of candy, that can make or break a smile out. Those eyes have that feeling of nostalgia, of dancing yourself drunk out on a terrace, of swaying to music at a bar, of making drinks at home and fawning over them. Jay is a panorama of old memories.
Sim 'Jake' Jaeyun
Jake's eyes are almost full, with the amount of scenes of dawn in them. His eyes are pretty like that orangish-yellow of the rising sun, like the birds which sing their song early in the morning to wake us up with a calm feeling of "everything is going to be fine". Jake's eyes speak comfort. They speak those nights where all you want to do is curl up with your lover and sleep, knowing that the universe loves you. They speak those nights where you trace your scars, remembering how your lover would kiss them goodnight, in order to ease that painful memory. Jake is scented pillows, and comfort, and a warm cocoon of welcome hugs.
Park Sunghoon
Sunghoon's eyes remind everyone of that first snow. The first snow when mistletoe hung above your head and you only wished for the galaxies to send you someone to press your lips to. They are those memories of ice skating with someone holding carefully onto you as you begged them not to let go, lest you fall to the ground. His eyes hold that passion of the careful love, the lovers who are too afraid of love itself. His eyes scream that emotion of knowing love not as it is, but as it could be. Sunghoon is a festival of love which is as pretty as the icy moon.
Tumblr media
A/N: Mona here! I hope you enjoyed this rant of mine and i hope you know that I'm falling in love with your eyes with every passing moment, dear reader.

TheeHorsepussys Portland : Vaseline Alley aka Stark Street aka Harvey Weinstein ( I always get that mixed up) Harvey Milk Blvd
Documenting some gay-ass history for the kids
Red Arrow - 2 blocks to Touche. Not gay but spent most of the 90s in that bar. Fancy looking dining room/pool room but mostly service industry clientele. Hard to find a spot to do drugs discreetly.
Green - Everyday Music. Where to sell vinyl for dope money.
Yellow - Big BIG abandoned, scary building. Looked haunted. Was eventually renovated. But gave you the heebie-jeebies walking past it at night. Gay bashing zone
Tumblr media
Green Arrow - The City Nightclub. Underage nightclub. Chicken Hawks(is that Gus Van Sant?), lots of drugs, good DJ downstairs, GREAT DJ upstairs
Red - The Henry Weinhard Brewery (demolished) Made the area smell really, really awful. Gagging thinking of it.
(Stark Street starts to the right here. It looks like they built some weird barrier in the intersection..probably cuz drunk gays in middle of street)
Orange - The Bathhouse. Home away from home. I would sell rip-off size bags of meth to subsidize my habit. Sucked a huge penis here. Gagging thinking of it. Gay bar downstairs was called either Flossies or Silverado or both. Male strippers. Would buy my shitty little bags of dope.
Blue Arrow - at one moment in the 90s, a sex club I think owned by Fantasy Video. Robert would meet his side piece there . The director Todd Haynes, I fuzzily recall reading, was a patron. I went once. Weird vibe. There was a plaque on the wall outside the entrance commemorating the recording of Louie, Louie.
Orange - The Eagle. Bar where it was common to have sex. I saw a guy take a foot up his butt. Cops started randomly coming in to cock block. There is a new bar called the Eagle up in NE Portland up by the Heroin Fred Meyer (I suppose they all are now)
Tumblr media
Blue - Transient hotel above the store I hated buying cigarettes from but can't recall why. Maybe it was expensive.
Green - Greasy spoon called Roxys. Horrible breakfast food 24/7. I think it used to be down the street on Everett. Had a tiny basement bar. Moved to Vaseline Alley in 90s. Had ginormous picture of Quentin Tarantino or some shit. Very 90s
Yellow - Three Sisters (Six Titties) dive bar/gay bar. Never really went there. At some point was a male strippers bar. Robert had me escort one of his side pieces there. Kid thought the stripper was really into him. I tried to explain. I won $600 on the poker machine and drove the kid home.
Orange - Django Records. Large amounts of cheap used records. 3 for a dollar bins! I bought Eyehategod In the Name of Suffering here. Also the Cruising soundtrack...33cents!
Red - Fancy, expensive hotel. Yell really loud underneath the windows. They like that. Cops always parked along this stretch. Drunk gays got their first DUIs around here.
Mint- block of amnesia. I don't think it existed
Tumblr media
Red - Boxes. Gay bar where you did lines of coke/mda/meth in the bathroom without hassle. TV sets with Oprah or Steel Magnolias, shit like that on. Spartacus Leather fetish store was down a couple doors. Inside Boxes, you could take a wood paneled passage through the fish restaurant kitchen ( I don't think anyone ever ate there) and end up at.....
Green - the Brig. Named because dance floor had bars around it like a jail cell. Imagine the creative dance moves as the queens grappled bars, ass out while Madonna songs played on a loop. Your meth dealer could be found here, doing a fan dance. Don't wear black. Semen stains show up under the blacklights. (or do)
Yellow - the house paint store. Eventually became the Panorama in the age of MDMA. Rave type music. Went there once to meet a dealer. Obnoxious experience.
White - Silverado. Country Western night most nights. My roommate dj'd andtaught line dancing but dance floor was like 10 sq ft so it was just the gays holding hands and boot scootin' in a little circle for eternity. Bar I could get into underage.
Orange - Ben Stark Hotel. Like outta Barton Fink. But really, really seedy. Had some weird sex in there. Now a boutique hotel owned by some Donald Trump guy Gordon Someone who did something once. Probably haunted.
Brown - Scandals. Beer /wine bar. Big windows so you can people-watch and talk shit. Used to go in there underage until I got thrown out snorting a rail of MDA off the tabletop. Had electronic darts and video poker in the 90s. Me and Robert had a domestic dispute there.
Tumblr media
Red - row of funky vintage/antique shops. Someone used to broadcast a pirate radio station somewhere around there in the 90s
Blue - Portland Underground. Small venue had some big shows early 90s. Top floor is where I swear I saw Econochrist play. But it's an office building. Maybe confused
Yellow. OBryant Square aka Paranoid Park. Skateboarders and street drugs. I got "chased" by AF Nazis here. Probably more like I ran my fat ass up the street after this girl I knew screamed "run!" And they probably just laughed. I didn't look back. I think it's demolished now.
White arrow- up the block toward the Galleria. Second floor toilet was really cruisy. Careful of cockblocking rent-a-cops. Kiosk by cafe I think was only place downtown to buy pipe to smoke pot

Yeah I decided to write my first fanfiction ever! It's about Rick confessing his love to BP Here is the link to Ao3 but you can read it below.
----------------------------------------------------------
Beauty of the stars above us
Rick never thought he would find love again, but he's here, sitting in a bar on some asteroid distant from earth, from home.
The stars painting an otherworldly panorama outside, when an unexpected surge of vulnerability had washed over Rick. Amongst the hues of the ever-changing cosmic canvas, he found himself drawn to Birdperson's unwavering presence.
His avian friend sitting in silence listerning to music playing loudly. They sat next to each other on the bar stools, while Squanchy was flirting with people in a booth behind them.
Rick looked at BP and everything he wanted to do is hold his friends hand, tell him how much he loves him and how he would do everything for him. His unwavering calmness contrasted sharply with Rick's chaotic nature, but strangely, it was a balance he found solace in.
During days he spent with BP, he became more aware of how good looking his friend was
A Birdman
An alien
Rick felt how his cheeks started turning red. Birdperson turned his face towards him.
Rick, is everything alright? - he asked not really worried, but curious
Y-yeah, Pers - I'm not even drunk yet
That's good. Can we leave this place? Birdperson said anxiously.
W-w-why Pers? Thought you were having a good time. We've been here for w-what. An hour?
I know you may not enjoy that, but tonight the stars look very nicely.
Well this is very uncharacteristic of you. - Rick chuckled but stood up after Birdperson
They left the bar and BP flew the scientist on the roof, where they sat next to each other.
Rick saw his friend enjoying their situation and looking at the sky amazed. Their faces lit by sparkling stars above them. Rick felt flustered looking at his avian friend. A Birdman his height with big soft wings, with a bare chest he wanted to touch. Plumage over his whole body he wanted to feel. His lips he longed to taste.
The both sat looking at the most beautiful things in the universe.
Pers looked at Rick and smiled. Oh god his smile.
Rick couldn't hold it anymore.
"You're more than just a friend, B-b-birdperson," he blurted out, the words escaping before he could think about them. "You're like a constant in this insane multiverse, something I can actually count on. I need that and I love that"
The response he received was a shocked gaze, filled with a depth that mirrored the mysteries of the universe above them.
Birdperson sat there not really sure what to say. But Rick saw that familiar redness on his cheeks
Wait what? Did he really say that to Pers?
Internally, Rick scrambled to process the rush of emotions, a feeling foreign and uncomfortable. His thoughts raced, the uncertainty of baring such sentiments leaving his mouth. Did he overstep? Did he rui-
"Rick"- his name finally escaped Birdpersons mouth
"Pers I've loved you forever"
BP stood up
The uncertainty lingered, the weight of Ricks uncharacteristic confession hanging heavy in the silence that followed. Would Birdperson understand? Had he revealed too much, or perhaps not enough?
BP took the scientists hand
Avians gentle wing brushing against Ricks shoulder was the only response needed. No words exchanged, yet a silent understanding filled the void, removing the nervousness that gripped them both.
Birdperson helped Rick stand up. And that's what they did. They stood there looking at their faces turned to each other. And in that moment they both saw the most beautiful thing in the universe.

Start a book club with, read a book to, hit with a book : Close between The System, Raylan, Phil Coulson
Three of a Kind || Accepting {{tagging for reasons: @silverjetsystm, @goodlawman, @tangleweave }}
Tumblr media
Beth might be a little tipsy after her third sea-breeze in about half an hour, and maybe she giggles a little too loudly from behind her hand when Jay asks the question. The bar isn't packed yet and so the music is mellow and the dim interior is a respite from the bright hospital lights that she's been dealing with for the last fifteen hours. She leans into Jay and rests her head on her hanai-sister's shoulders, spanning one hand out and waving slowly in panorama in front of them. "Pictcha it. Manhattan...sometime in da las' two weeks..." Yes, she just made a Golden Girls reference. "F' a book club? Hones'ly goddah choose Moon-Moon. Steven got exquisite taste in literature, while Jake got alla sarcastic comments on da side but sittin' in his cab he got plenny time t' read, an' mebbe dat give Marc sometime t' chill out. I t'ink da man really need a time to take brea'd an' jus'...stop for a while, you know wha' I mean. Plus if it jus' da five of us, den we can make da meetings easy, you know?" She purses her lips aside for a moment and ponders the other two men mentioned. "Read a book to? Probably Uncle Phil. Man's an incredible boss. Nevah have someone so intent on protectin' an' supportin' his team but I swear I nevah see him take a vacation, or even be late for work. If all t'ings remain true? Den he probably doesn't even really take time to eat propah, or rest at night, so I'd cheat. Small kine use of Life...tiny hanging effect t' make him drowsy an' den I'd read t' him. Probably from: Captain America: Avenger, Hero, Icon... or Captain America and da American Journey, 1940-2022." She giggles again and pulls back only to fix Jay with The Look. The one that says she knows what's going on and that they will have to discuss that very soon. "An' finally, dat leave Raylan. Who is very pretty, by da way." Yep, there it is, the confirmation nod. "An' I hit him wi' da book f' not tellin' me you an' him are seein' each oddah outside of any work relationship I can faddom, which mean he nevah aks me if it okay to aks you out. Now it's possible you did da aksin' but you're fastah dan me, especially wi' Time an' Correspondence, so...moral of da story, he gets smote...an' you owe me anoddah drink." A pause. "How did he get into Shield, anyway?"

What do you even want in berghain? Genuinely, I have never heard one good thing about it. You're fascinating to me.
The music was really good last night and the people were cool to look at. And the interior design was really cool except for the sculpture of the lady leaning over the bar which I found freaky (this is all about the panorama bar)
Anyway after getting there 50 minutes early and then getting to the front 50 minutes after opening I got rejected. Think I picked a pretty close to optimal arrival.time. Big lesson for next time is dress warmer or come at a warmer time. Bringing a book was a win tho.

Climb every mountain
Acrophobics beware, our ascent begins. Armed simply with a rope and three pitons, our character, accompanied by a small water creature, sets off to climb a giant, mysterious tower, where the remains of the past are still visible. But once on its roof, is the view up there up to par?
❤ More than just a climbing game, Jusant is clearly a game of contemplation, as the panoramas are always magnificent and I've often stopped just to enjoy the view.
Tumblr media
The tower is made up of different biomes, each with its own unique and varied atmosphere. The ruins you find are full of details of life in the past, so it's easy to imagine what this ancient civilisation was like. It's often tempting to explore the surroundings further, even if it means deviating a little from the original path. ❤ Although this Human city is now abandoned, the tower is nonetheless teeming with life, with its distinctive flora and fauna.
Tumblr media
I really appreciated their diversity, but also the harmonious way in which they fit into the universe; insects in the form of moving stones can be good grips but will tire under the weight of the character, certain plants can be made to bud but will wither very quickly under the burning rays of the sun, life becomes less and less habitable as you climb because of the lack of water and the violent winds etc… This aspect of the universe makes it very immersive and easy to grasp. ❤ The climbing mechanism is very easy to pick up and intuitive (at least on the controller). Some might criticize the lack of challenge, given that you can't die (the game is meant to be relaxing, after all), but I found that the stamina bar was enough to add a bit of management and reflection to the whole thing. What's more, while the game is very linear, I found that it allowed each player a fair amount of freedom to create their own route. You can go on a breakneck run and climb a passage in one go, or you can play it safe and place pitons from time to time. This can lead to quite different parties from that point of view. The gameplay could be perceived as repetitive, but as the landscapes evolve, you'll also have to adapt to each new environment. As a result, the paths become a little more complex as you go along, without feeling redundant. The game also offers good replayability if you intend to find all the hidden corners and collectibles.
+/- The music is very beautiful and there are some very soothing sound design moments…but I found that there were a lot of rather empty passages where only the sound of the wind could be heard. Given the amount of life abounding on this large rock, I was expecting more sound ambiance. Only the seashells, the game's collectible elements, really transported me in this respect. +/- This is clearly going to be the most subjective point of all but, in my opinion, the universe is too cryptic, or rather, it has too many details that don't quite fit together. Let me explain. Throughout the journey, you can come across messages left by the former inhabitants, allowing the player to learn more about how they lived in this tower, their occupations and the beliefs they held. On the other hand, we also have engravings and technologies that are activated by our little pet creature (just like our tattoos) but at no point are these elements mentioned in the found texts, and they hardly seem to correspond to the same era. As a result, I'm left with a very strange mix of lore and I'm struggling to fully immerse myself in it, not because I don't understand how it works, but rather because I can't conceive of these two elements going together. And the ending didn't help either, becoming very mystical compared to the more down-to-earth side of the ancient writings. In short, a strange mix that left me dubious.
✖ My journey up the mountain was exacerbated several times by numerous glitches: the camera suddenly became uncontrollable, the character found himself levitating above the stairs, and my rope became entangled far too often with elements of the scenery…. enough to easily break the serenity that the game aims to offer. ✖ The tutorial is rather intrusive, with the explanatory text recurring too frequently as if to give us clues as to how to proceed. While this was a way of making the game accessible to a wider audience, it breaks the immersion and doesn't allow the player to simply observe and reflect. ✖ While I was quite taken with the visual spectacle, I didn't feel much during the whole trip. First of all, I think that's down to the main character, who I found…flat? We don't know who they are, what their objectives are, and their expressions are very neutral, so it's hard to know how they feel about events. Their friendship with the little water creature is cute, but there's no more connection between them in the game than little optional interactions. And as for the finale, it's déjà-vu for me, I was once again left unmoved.
Jusant is a catchy game in both senses of the word. The climbing gameplay is enjoyable and the world, while perhaps too obscure, is rich and intriguing overall. Despite the altitude, however, it didn't transcend me, because for me it lacks emotional intensity, and beauty alone isn't enough to reach the summit.

Dancing with my past selves at Panorama Bar, Berghain.
There are no photos of this place, it exists only in the real and in memory. The louvers open for a moment as the music peaks, waves of Sunday morning light crashing over faces then retreating to the smoky darkness.

Music Blog: Too Broke For Berghain
Tumblr media
For a while now I've been wanting to go back to Berghain. From 2013-2018 I was there quite a lot. The place had such a different vibe when the tiled mural 'Rituale Des Verschwindens' by Piotr Nathan was still in place down stairs at the cloak room. About once a month I would go to the Panorama Bar to Get Perlonized, but also other occasions like the Klub Nacht when the Berghain Floor was also open. The longest I’ve ever queued for was a 3 hours in freezing weather during Easter 2018. I really thought I was going to die of hypothermia. It was for Honey Dijon and it was totally worth it. She played To Be Real by Cher Lynn, I felt like I time travelled in time and space to the Paradise Garage. Maybe I should mention, I’ve never been on the guest list. Even though I was asked this once. Maybe it was a trick by the bouncers or they noticed my boyfriend and me were regulars. But we would just go there to dance and make out on the dance floor and not really socialize with anyone else. Back then the entry free was 12-15€ which was already more expensive than other clubs which charged 5-8€. But like it or not, Berghain is a special place. The fact that this former heating plant was transformed into an epic club is exceptional. You can tell how much work has gone into this place and so many creative people have put their effort into making this happen, it really is amazing.  When Berghain re-opened after the pandemic, I noticed a few changes. No more Get Perlonized. I found it so strange. But I guess in the end it’s just a business. The entrance fee is 22€ now. I'm no longer a student, I don’t get any funds and my current financial status just doesn’t allow me to spend this kind of money on a night out right now. I am at a point in my life where I prefer to spend it on Vietnamese take out. So I guess, I’m just too broke for Berghain.

Week 1: Arriving in Dublin
Hello again, it's Sam again, reporting live(ish) from Dublin. This week started off with me leaving for Dublin on Sunday afternoon. After an uneventful flight to Boston and a 4 hour layover, followed by three hours on the tarmac (courtesy of the lovely Boston weather), I arrived in Dublin with a solid 45 minutes of sleep under my belt.
Tumblr media
Hi Dublin!
My first day on campus consisted of a tour, a trip to Ikea with some new German friends, and my first visit to an Irish pub. My day ended as soon as I put my head down on the pillow, before I even turned off my lights.
The next day I went to the city center with some friends I met at the pub the previous night. We walked around the city a bit and visited St. Patrick's cathedral, which was lovely. I finished the day off with some cards at my friend Jon's dorm
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
St. Patrick's cathedral
Day three (today), was very eventful. In the morning I went to presentation on how to use the university's libraries, and then put this knowledge into practice with a trip to UCD's James Joyce library.
Tumblr media
A panorama of the center of UCD's campus, with the James Joyce Library on the left.
After lunch and an immigration presentation (riveting stuff), it was time for the international students welcome ceremony. There was food, live music, and dancing, and it was a great time. Everyone received a nice scarf, and I finally had my first pint of Guinness.
Tumblr media
The international students welcome, featuring my friend Eva saying hi at the bottom.
Once we were all tired out from dancing, my friends and I went to the campus bar (you read that right) for another pint and some cards, wrapping up a very eventful day.

An update from last post: I ended up packing my stuff into a big suitcase that I checked, a 40 liter hiking bag that I carried on, and a regular sized backpack as my personal item.
Talk to y'all next week!

September 10th, 2022. La Habana.
Amigos mios —
Yesterday I made the decision to attend a Panorama of Cuban Culture class in the Spanish faculty for non-Spanish speakers rather than my otherwise scheduled 19th century history class. This panorama class is simultaneously quite easy, with slow speaking and clearly low expectations for the amount of work we have to do, and quite entertaining, with regular field trips as part of its curriculum. Unfortunately, however, my intellectualism complex may not permit me, out of sheer stubbornness, to take a class where the final is but a page and a short oral presentation. Additionally, I have caught the professor being wrong more than once — sometimes semi-jokingly, such as when he described Cuba as a matriarchy and a paragon of queer acceptance, and sometimes quite seriously. (The annexionist movement of the 19th century, for instance, did not view the US as a haven of democracy. Rather, the slavery-dependent sugar bourgeoisie viewed entrance into the United States and especially the South as a way to secure the continued legality of slavery in the face of English and French abolitionist pressure and Spanish and Cuban instability on the matter. If I have been doing anything, it has been keeping up with my history readings!) I am unsure of what classes I will continue to take; I counted, during our group meeting, and I have attended eleven separate classes. I may only choose four to six of these, depending on their credit load.
Also yesterday, our group went to a student union-organized outdoor concert. (Well. Beforehand we went to a bar. As it turns out, even small amounts of wine are quite expensive in Cuba; it is, after all, imported.) Though it was so loud I could feel the beat thudding in my entire body, the music was excellent, and extremely danceable to boot. I only wish I knew more salsa; I am certainly intending to learn several of its moves while I am here.
Today was spent primarily in La Habana Vieja, with the lovely L. She is several years older than I, and a recent graduate of the faculty of International Relations; she invited me to visit museums this weekend and certainly did not disappoint.
We took a taxi to La Habana Vieja; once there, she began by showing me several notable sights, all the while leading a discussion on both American and Cuban politics. We share much common ground here, though I perhaps idolize Cuban revolutionary leaders somewhat less; I was not raised here, after all, and they are not my national heroes. She believes strongly in the justice and greater fairness of socialism, despite recognizing its weaknesses and even failures, and is quite appalled at the state of US politics; her hope is for great changes in the US, or at least the permission of a closer relationship between the people despite the many failures of the government. L, with her friendliness, generosity, and deep knowledge, would make a wonderful tour guide, were she interested. As it is, I gave no doubt that she will succeed in whatever career she chooses.
As an interesting sidenote, I have noticed that every Cuban I have yet talked to has high opinions of Obama — there is a historic tree planted in his honor, Biden's failures are constantly compared, he is praised unprompted, and generally treated with great fondness for taking steps towards lifting the embargo. Perhaps it is indeed time for the US government to realize that their ideological spats with the Cuban state causes suffering and even death to the very people they profess to be championing.
The Museum of the Cuban Revolution in the former presidential palace was undergoing restorations, alas, yet we were still able to enjoy the sights of airplanes used in Playa Girón, jeeps of the revolution, and the Granma itself. The Museum of Cuban Art, meanwhile, was fully open, and quite beautiful, though neither of us had quite the sufficient artistic training to be able to fully appreciate the merits of the lovely paintings. Finally, the museum at the Plaza de Armas was also quite limited, with the building under repair, but offered a quick historic timeline.
We spent the rest of our afternoon wandering and chatting, with an extended stop for lunch (hardly comparable to my host mother's cooking, to be clear) and coffee, before we took the bus — which has no fixed schedule, but shows up when it shows up — home. With all of her generosity and her birthday coming up, I am already plotting to figure out some sort of gift for L, though I know not yet what.
Los quiero,
MICHA.

Day 4 - Part 3 - Maca Cathedral
Tumblr media
We had a brief stop in Maca, where we visited an earthquake damaged cathedral. The decorations on the sides had mirrors which were a novelty to the native people and they used this awe to aid in conversions.
Tumblr media
I did my backbend panorama party trick to capture the length of the cathedral. Claire did the same to capture one of the archway decorations.
Tumblr media
We retraced our route from day 3, heading back out of Chivay the way we came, up the mountain, past the snowy peak, and through the National Park.
Tumblr media
We stopped for lunch at an adjacent shop to where we had stopped on our way up. Miley had the fanciest bagged lunches ever for us!
Tumblr media
I had chicken and quinoa with fruit, a cheese, avocado, and tomato sandwich, a German chocolate cake, strawberry drinkable yogurt, and a dark chocolate bar.
We had a lime mayonnaise with our chicken and it was absolutely incredible. Note to self: find lime mayonnaise in the states!
There was a kid kicking around a soccer ball, so Austyn, Claire and I joined him and we passed it around.

Unfortunately we had to get on the road again, and we headed on our way to Puno. The landscape was entirely different, called the altiplano. There were lightly rolling green hills with beautiful blue skies. It was like we stepped into the Windows XP default wallpaper! We saw flamingos and passed through numerous little communities.

Our final rest stop was a cute shop with a lake behind it!

As we drove, we listened to a fun mix of upbeat female American artists before switching to the driver’s downloaded music which included 20 minute track called “Wuake me up before you - Whan.mp3” and “Shape of you (Official Music Video).mp3”
We noticed lots of political campaign ads painted onto the walls of cities we passed. Each city also had an entrance and exit archway. Mañazo’s exit arch thanked us for visiting the “capitol of biotechnology in Peru” This was shocking, as few buildings even had complete roofs, much less any equipment for biotechnology.
We asked Miley and she said that building fences for their cows was the extent of their biotechnology.
Continued in Part 4!

Casa cheia no À4HÁ com MДQUIИД. e Sunflowers | Reportagem Fotográfica

Tomás dos MДQUIИД.

Halison dos MДQUIИД.
