Does WhisperingClan being in a cave so close to StarClan make it easier or harder for dreaming cats to reach the Dark Forest? How’s Partidgepaw doing with her dream friend?

My current thought/rule (?) Is that the DF can only directly reach cats with a dark forest trait. Hence why Jaggedheart can reach Partridgepaw. But I may add that a cat with a DF connection can take others there! So for example Partridgepaw could take a friend there to meet Jaggedheart. Idk if this will happen or not but I like the idea of it!

This is a follow up to the Year 2 Lineup!

This will include the designs and blurbs (notable actions and relationships) for the leadership, healers and warriors of the clan!

This Year's Actions: Had Creekslip attack Butterflyfreckle as punishment for being pregnant with outsider kits; Gave birth to her and Blizzardchase's own first litter (Rain, Hail, Sleet and Snow); Took on her daughter Snowpaw as her apprentice (maybe bec she looks the most like her??); Got herself and Snowpaw into a fight with a large dog, getting Snow injured; Got herself injured in a border skirmish; At the end of the year her mate had their second litter, a single male kit named Peakkit!

Notable Relationships: Still REALLY loves and trusts her mate Blizzardchase; has strong trust for Creekslip and that's it, she just knows Creek will do whatever she says; her favorite daughter is Rainpaw, probably bec the takes after Tempest in motives and personality; her least favorite daughter is Snowpaw, she actually has some dislike for her... what a GREAT mom; annnd Hailstripe, is Tempest's second fave daughter which explains why she made her a warrior early.

This Year's Actions: Attacked Butterflyfreckle on Tempeststar's orders to punish her for being pregnant with outsider kits; Was made deputy after Blizzardchase's retirement (Tempeststar knows that Creek will follow her every command); Received Partridgepaw as an apprentice.

Notable Relationships: Has some romantic like for the Healer Bramblespeck; Has started to befriend Wisp the Healer who joined the clan this year; has some platonic like, respect and trust for her apprentice Partridepaw.

This Year's Actions: She has done nothing, unproblematic queen.

Notable Relationships: Dislikes Snowpaw a bit, probably bec she had to deal with Snow in the healer den for a while (Snow is very bratty); Has some dislike for Tempeststar... fucking fair; most friendly with Skipspot.

This Year's Actions: Received Rainpaw as her apprentice.

This Year's Actions: Disappeared for a few days and came back with a collar; took on Rattlepaw as an apprentice after the death of Weedpatch (her prev. mentor).

Notable Relationships: Has a crush on Bramblespeck, and strong platonic like for her; also close to Sunmane.

This Year's Actions: Joined the clan as a warrior.

Notable Relationships: closest to Skipspot but still pretty low like bar; dislikes Creekslip.

This Year's Actions: Joined the clan after the death of her son Weedpatch to be there for her daughter Rattlepaw

Little backstory: Was a kittypet before joining the clan; her sister joined Roaringclan and bec of this Celeste hung around the clans a lot; Sired Weedpatch with a Roaringclan warrior and her sister had Jaggedheart around the same time; Weed and Jagged then left with the other founders to become Whisperingclan; Celeste didnt come around Roaringclan as much and instead searched for her son; Sired Rattle with another kittypet and raised her alongside them; found out where Weed was and told Rattle about it; Rattle ended up leaving for Whisperinclan, wanting to be a warrior; Celeste would travel to meet her kits at the border once a moon; found out Weed died and decided she needed to join to be there for Rattlepaw. I love her.

Notable Relationships: strong platonic love for Rattlepaw (and Weedpatch as well but he dead)

This Year's Actions: Received Sleetpaw as an apprentice. (oh also I've decided he's a transmasc lesbian)

Notable Relationships: has a big romantic and platonic like for Sunmane, Sun is his (MARRIED) best friend; slight dislike for Rattlepaw??? what did she do??; slight like and dislike for Sleetpaw???

This Year's Actions: announced she was expecting kits with an outsider; was attacked by Creekslip under Tempeststar's orders as punishment; had a litter of three (Partridge, Gull, and Heron); Heronkit died at 4 moons due to kittencough (he was actually accidentally taken too soon by Starclan, Whispering cave shit); was assigned Hailpaw as an apprentice; Gullpaw died due to kittencough one moon after becoming an apprentice; Some how after ALL of this she trained Hail so good she was made a warrior a moon early.

Notable Relationships: Strong platonic like for her daughter Partridgepaw; likes AND dislikes several cats equally??? (Sunmane, Creekslip; Tempeststar-fair, and Snowpaw); dislikes Rainpaw and Wisp, also Chivekit a bit??? HES A BABY??; has like very few friends/ platonic like, she is going through some shit.

personality/backstory

Olivenose is Featherclan’s medicine cat. As a kit, she was fascinated by the life of a medicine cat, and was a little shadow to Cranefeather. Olivenose was a very quick learner, already memorizing plants and their usages, as well as the best places to find and grow them. When she was ready to take her oath as a medicine cat, she swore off relationships. At the time this was not a struggle for Olivenose, as she never felt much attraction to the other tom-cats in the clan, what she failed to realize though, that her fondness for her fellow clanmate, Stormwish, was more than just friendship. She knew having a relationship, even between two mollies, was strictly forbidden, but she’s willing to do whatever she can to keep her love a secret.

Juniperhop — “I love my mother, as she taught me kindness and courage, and also provided mentorship during my apprenticeship. She’s the reason I can climb through the trees with skill in order to find ripe fruits in the highest branches. When my father died only 15 moons ago, my mother was distraught, and was often comforted by our new leader, Briarstar, sleeping on his old bedding till the twigs had rotted. She also would often reside in the medicine cat den, and I would provide her mixtures of sweet smelling herbs to calm her senses enough to sleep. She ended up retiring early at only 122 moons, but I can tell this decision was best for her, as her grief subsided, her energy and optimism had slowly been restored. It’s nice having my mother back, and I love watching her play with the kits and tell stories of her beloved mate to the youngest members of the clan.”

Crowstar — “My father was a very stoic figure, which made him an effective leader. I was scared my father would disapprove of me taking the medicine cat route, but he couldn’t have been more proud. When my mentor, Cranefeather, died, I had the privilege of becoming the main medicine cat under my father’s leadership. Even though that period of time was short, it was truly an honor, and I miss him everyday.”

Magpiemoon & Thrushtail — “My siblings and I are very close, and I feel immense pride watching them both blossom into their ranks as deputy and warrior. When we were kits, they would tease me for my short stature and tiny nose, but as I’ve grown to love those traits, they’ve grown as well! I’ve gotten a bit better at teasing them myself!"

Stormwish — “The most beautiful cat in the valley, my Stormwish. We officially met when she was starting her apprenticeship, and I was nearing the end of my medicine cat training. Her and her mentor had been navigating the tree tops when a weak branch snapped under Stormpaw and she fell to the forest floor, fracturing her leg and injuring her back. She spent a few moons of her training recovering from the incident. Stormpaw had been incredibly lucky, if she had fallen from any higher of a branch, or landed in a different way, she could’ve been paralyzed for life, or even worse dead. It was pure luck me and my mentor had been nearby looking for herbs when we heard Stormpaw’s scream, and the sound still haunts me. Because I was nearing the end of my training, Cranefeather often left me to figure out many things myself, so Stormpaw and I spent many days with only each other as company. When Stormpaw recovered, she quickly finished her training where it had left off and became a warrior. Even with her busy days as a warrior, she manages to find time to visit the medicine cat den everyday with fresh kill in the mornings as a sign of gratitude. Though we remain cordial and friendly in the daytime, we are as inseparable as two cats could be the second the clan falls asleep.”

Cranefeather — “Cranefeather was a bit of an oddity. He was often disorganized, and a bit jumpy, but when it was between life and death, he was assertive and calm. There was a method to his madness, a method that took me many moons to understand. He taught me the most valuable skills I possess, the skill of healing. He knew I was smart enough to pick up his lessons through his spontaneous string of thoughts, a patience he told me other cats would not have enough of to put up with him. He and my father had been best friends growing up, often exploring the forest together, and while my father found his place high in the trees, he preferred to forage below, fascinated by the vast amounts of herbs, plants and flowers to be collected. He’s the reason my passion for medicine is so strong!”

Partridgepaw — “My sweet apprentice! I can tell he doubts his skills as a medicine cat, but I can tell he will blossom well into this role. He seems a little bit lonely, and he can’t keep up with the energy of the other apprentices, but he gets along quite well with the older warriors and the elders! He seems to be very eloquent for his age.”

This one is an older piece; I wish I had time to draw like I used to. I feel bad this one never saw the light so I guess I’m posting it now. Anyway,

This drawing was supposed to go hand by hand with a short story that I never finished, so I’ll try to summarize:

Partridgepaw (small, ticked calico cat) is about to leave his clan (Clayclan) to train as a seer. Due to the belief that they were accomplices to numerous murders during a difficult time in Clayclan (‘the moon-blind period’), Clayclan’s actual seer (Kitepad, not present in the drawing) is living in Mountainclan at the beginning of this story. Patridgepaw is originally meant to leave for this clan, where they are meant to train under Kitepad. Their naming as seer apprentice is to happen in this gathering so their family is saying their goodbyes and wishing them luck, however, before the ceremony can begin, Brookclan claims mentorship rights over Partridgepaw as restitution for the murder of Morningstar’s (Brookclan leader) only child by a clayclanner.

The situation greatly angers every clayclanner in the gathering as they culturally see Brookclan as a merciless clan and believe they are trying to force an ‘eye-for-an-eye’ kind of situation by endangering or, possibly, hurting Partridgepaw. The situation escalates and the moon starts to cloud, so Genetstar (Clayclan’s leader, also not present in this drawing) decides to acquiesce knowing that they owe Brookclan and, if the rest of the clans were to be involved, Clayclan would lose this battle. As Partridgepaw leaves with Brookclan, the clouds dissipate and the moon shines again, Mother Moon indulges this decision.

I wanted to know what the characters' sexualties were, and I have an idea for Snowfrost being aromantic

The game makes all characters pansexual buuut i do have some headcanons (which could totally be made wrong in the future)

I too agree with the Aromantic Snowfrost. Especially since she and Sleetsong are the only ones who arent involved in the saphic love drama of their generation. Also I love her and I am aro so now she is too.

I think Sleetsong is straight tho, that or smart enough to not crush on Partridge or Rattle lmaooo

I headcanon a LOT of these cats as lesbians... this is probably helped by the clan being majority female but idk.. they just give me lesbian vibes lol

This Year's Actions: Was banished to the Dark Forest after getting into a physical fight with Ravenblur after the Starclan guide (Larkcaw) guided him from the Dark Forest; Changed her name from Jaggedlark to Jaggedheart, she was named after Larkcaw and she refuses to carry that name anymore, she chose "heart" as a reminder to not forget to care and love despite being in the DF; began communicating with Partridgepaw in her dreams in the hope that she can still help the living and stop Tempeststar.

Notable Relationships: Was close to her cousin Weedpatch and is devistated she can not be with him in Starclan; has a respect for and comradery with Partrigepaw

This Year's Actions: Was guided out of the Dark Forest into Starclan by the Starclan Guide Larkcaw; Got into a physical altercation with his ex-apprentice Jaggedlark which resulted in Larkcaw banishing her to the Dark Forest.

Notable Relationships: REALLY hates Jaggedlark/heart; was a minion to Tempeststar in life and is now one for Larkcaw

This Year's Actions: Guided Ravenblur out of the Dark Forest; Specifically did this to have a cat who would follow her commands, and so she could create a reason to banish Jaggedlark as she had been questioning Larkcaw too much; Caused Ravenblur and Jaggedlark to fight, blamed the fight on Jagged and banished her to the Dark Forest.

Notable Relationships: She guides and is allied with Tempeststar, she is also Tempest's grandmother.

This Year's Actions: nothin, he's just vibin; he is waching over his new great grand kits though, and is caring for his great grandkit Oakkit as well as Heronkit now.

Notable Relationships: Was very close to his granddaughter Sunmane in life; cares deeply for his descendants; close to Oakkit and Heronkit and is kind of their Starclan caretaker

This Year's Actions: reunited with his mother Celeste after she traveled to the Whisperingclan border to find him; met his half sister Rattlepaw who joined Whisperingclan to become a warrior and be with her brother; Received Rattlepaw as an apprentice; was caught in a sudden blizzard and died in the snow; went to Starclan, was reunited with his best friend and cousin Jaggedlark/heart for a short while before she was banished to the DF

Notable Relationships: Was, and really still is, best friends with his cousin Jaggedheart; had begun to regrow his relationship with his mother Celeste and had begun to get close to Rattlepaw as well

This Year's Actions: was born to Butterflyfreckle alongside his two siblings Partrigepaw and Heronkit; Caught kittencough alongside Heronkit; Heronkit died presumably due to kittencough; was made an apprentice with Sunmane as his mentor but died from kittencough a moon later.

Notable Relationships: was very close to his mother and siblings; spends most of his time with Heronkit

This Year's Actions: was born to Butterflyfreckle alongside his two siblings Partrigepaw and Gullpaw; Caught kittencough alongside Gullpaw; died presumably due to kittencough, in truth he felt a calling to the Whispering Crystal outside the nursery, and when he fell asleep beneath it alongside Oakkit their spirits both were taken to Starclan too soon.

Notable Relationships: was very close to his mother and siblings; spends most of his time with Gullpaw, Oakkit, and Flowermoon

This Year's Actions: was born to Mossleaf and Sunmane alongside his siblings Hickorykit, Comfreykit and Chivekit; Died of unknown causes the same moon (see cause above in Heron's bio)

Notable Relationships: loved his mothers and siblings; spends most of his time with Heronkit, Gullpaw, and Flowermoon
